Episode XXIX
Pyro blasts from the stage before the cameras pan across the crowd as we're welcomed by Mike Vincent.
Mike Vincent: Welcome to AXW! I'm Mike Vincent alongside Cole Haywood, and we have a big Main Event in store for tonight.
Cole Haywood: Jonathan Fhenix goes one on one with Steve Corman, and I for one can't wait.
Mike Vincent: But let's not waste any more time and head right into the action!
‘Invincible’ by Adelitas Way hits and Acer Stone runs out from the back looking pumped up and energetic. He heads down the ramp and punches the air three times as red pyros go off at the top of the ramp behind him.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This opening contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from Tampa, Florida, weighing in at 165 pounds, ACER STONE!
Acer heads over to the fans and slaps hands with them as he gets to the ring. He climbs into the ring and works the crowd a little more before they join him in punching the air three times.
"Marvelous Me" plays as Chaz Anix comes out flexing and shooing fans away
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Chester Andrews, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 234 pounds, "Dr. Big Freaking Deal" CHAZ ANIX!
as he gets into the ring to a spotlight just on him as he "flaunts his stuff" in the ring.
vs.
Acer immediately targets Chaz's legs and takes the larger man down with a dragon screw leg whip. As Chaz gets back up Acer connects with a dropkick causing Chaz to stumble back into the ropes. Chaz acts as if it didn't affect him and turns Acer inside out with a clothesline. Chaz locks in a patented Headlock with flexing, then brings Acer to the mat with a snap suplex. Chaz nails Acer with a Sexy Kick (Enziguri). After an unsuccessful pin attempt Chaz brings Acer back to his feet. Acer tries for a surprise small package, but Chaz doesn't budge. Chaz instead lifts Acer back up in a suplex position, but Acer knees Chaz in the head and plants Chaz with a DDT. Acer hits a flurry of kicks to Chaz, then runs the ropes. Chaz looks to catch him with a clothesline, but Acer ducks it and keeps running. Chaz now runs the opposite ropes and when the two meet in the middle of the ring, Chaz nearly decapitates Acer with a big boot. Chaz throws Acer into the corner and again kicks him via BOOM! (Helluva Kick). Referee Brian Sullivan could count to one thousand, but he only goes to three.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, CHAZ ANIX!
Mike Vincent: A near ten year veteran in Chaz Anix continues to impress by making short work of his opponent once again.
Cole Haywood: I've only seen a little bit of footage of the guy, but I like what I have seen, and tonight is no different.
"Marvelous Me" plays throughout the arena as Brian raises Chaz's hand. Chaz immediately rips his hand from Brian's grasp, and instead it's his manager/father Chester Andrews who raises his hand.

We cut to the interviewing section backstage where we see the self proclaimed "Queen of the Ravenous Generation" Janet Hurricane wearing her "Feel The Wrath" T-shirt and of course her signature hoodie. Janet has a slight smile on her face while Gina Furlow is about to interview her.
Gina Furlow: Janet, what's your thoughts on Hailey Harris' words on last week's Alternative?
Janet Hurricane: So Hailey wears a hoodie over her head and an angry look on her face and suddenly we're supposed to take her seriously? Suddenly she thinks she's edgy and everything she says about me is the bomb dropping truth? Well how about this you fake bimbo: The only one that is real as it gets is me. I don't pretend to be some underdog hero, begging for attention from the fans and pretending that I fight for them. Oh no no no, this Janet Hurricane you see right now is the real me. Just because you ditched your fake smile, doesn't mean you aren't fake. This fake intensity that you had on your interview Hailey, it means nothing to me because at the end of the day, I'm still better than you. My brother James and Luke Mathews himself taught me this... sportsmanship is overrated. It's all about winning the match, not caring about how you do it. Sorry Mrs. Sunshine, but not everything is about rainbow. This is a reality. But you know what Hailey, if you want me to play your game and fight fair, well so be it. No more brass knuckles, no more cheating, just straight up pure wrestling fight. But remember this Hailey, if I defeat you one more time while playing your game, no more excuses. I'm as every legit of a wrestler than you are plus more.
Gina Furlow: So basically you're saying you can beat Hailey in a fair fight without cheating?
Janet Hurricane: Exactly what I'm saying. I have been doing this shit for a long time Hailey. I have been taught by the very best: My brother James, Luke Mathews and the Mathews Family, Jay Champ, Jesse and Gabrielle Michaels Owusu and of course CCW Legend Joseph King. I have all the tools to be the greatest female wrestler ever. I'M BETTER THAN YOU. Don't you get it Hailey? No matter how much you try, you won't ever beat me. And that's the truth Hailey Harris. Feel the wrath of Janet Hurricane!
Janet smirks before leaving the scene

Clint Jackson comes out to a big pop while the piano starts and soaks in the crowd. When Arianne’s voice hits on the entrance theme, Earl Refsnyder comes out to a timid reaction. He throws his arm in the air and jumps around in a circle.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Clint Jackson, from Tampa, Florida, weighing in at 280 pounds, EARL REFSNYDER!
He runs into the ring and throws shadow punches while saying he’s the best.
"Throne" hits and Ethan Cutler steps out from the back, gripping the elbow pad for his right arm in hand. He takes a good look at the crowd before raising his right arm high to show off his "Off With Their Head" tattoo on his outer forearm and high-arched pyro fountains ignite on either side of the ramp. He lowers his arm and slides the elbow pad on, then proceeds to walk drown the ramp under the archway of pyro.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, making his AXW Debut, from Rapid City, South Dakota, weighing in at 232 pounds, "Mr. Clothesline" ETHAN CUTLER!
Upon reach the ring he jumps from the ring floor onto the apron, then steps through the ropes. After bouncing off the ropes a few times, he settles down and waits at one side for the match to begin.
vs.
The two lock up with Ethan wringing Earl's arm, and delivering a series of short arm clotheslines. Ethan takes Earl down with a Snap Fireman's Carry and without skipping a beat hits a Butterfly Suplex. Ethan brings Earl to his feet and Earl kicks Ethan in the gut. Earl runs the ropes and delivers a Running wrap around DDT. Earl tries for a cover but Ethan kicks out at one. Earl goes back to running the ropes and delivers a Running neckbreaker. As Ethan gets back to his feet, Earl goes for a springboard, but slips on the second rope and awkwardly falls out to the floor. Ethan takes advantage as he goes out after him. Ethan gets Earl on the apron and lifts him for a back suplex onto the apron. Ethan gets Earl into the ring and delivers a couple of stiff clotheslines. Ethan connects with a Triple German Suplex, and lifts him back up as if he's going for another, but turns him around and double legs him, then spins him around for the Giant Swing! The crowd gets on Ethan's side as Earl is on the mat, in pain and dizzy, by the ropes where his manager Clint Jackson is trying to give him some advice. Ethan removes the elbow pad from his right arm and tosses it into the crowd, revealing his "Off With Their Head" tattoo. He makes sure the camera gets a good shot of the tattoo before falling to a three-point stance. As Earl gets to his feet Ethan sprints full force at him and clobbers him with the Verdict Lariat, the 280 pound Earl getting turned inside out. Gus Ramos counts the three.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, ETHAN CUTLER!
Mike Vincent: What a performance from the debuting Ethan Cutler.
Cole Haywood: Not hard to have a good performance against a guy who lost in like five seconds in his first match the other week.
"Throne" replays as Ethan gets his hand raised. Ethan signals for a cameraman to come closer as he once more shows off his "Off With Their Head" tattoo, before we fade to commercial.

We see an incredibly nervous Craig Brooks, who suddenly bolts, dropping the mic, as the camera pans to a wide-eyed and nearly red faced Bruiser Lazzou, clutching the mic tight.
Bruiser Lazzou: “I don’t care what your name is or what rock you crawled out from, but NOBODY puts Bruiser Business in its place! Do we understand one another? I will make this simple enough for even a masked freak like yourself to understand. I’m the last guy to back down from a fight, so if you want to try to put ME out of business..well, you know where to find me.”
Bruiser drops the mic and with a growl storms off.
-----
"Second Sucks" by A Day to Remember plays and out walks Toa with the towel, drenched in blood, wrapped around his neck. He is staring down on the ground and listening to the boos and cheers coming from the fans.
"FIGHT"
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from the Isle of Samoa, weighing in at 280 pounds, "Samoan Executioner" TO'A!
Once he hears the opening line, he starts walking down the ramp, still not showing his face. When he walks up the steel steps and enters the ring, he throws the towel on the ground and does a battle cry.
The lights all go out and "Miseria Cantare" by AFI starts as a single spotlight shines on the entrance as Damien Steele is standing in the entrance hair in front of his face as at the 45 second mark of the song. Damien flips his hair back and starts to walk down to the ring, as the words of the song start.
LOVE... YOUR HATE...
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Jack Adams and Caitlin Shay, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 221 pounds, "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE!
Damien Steele makes no connection to any fans that might be throwing insults his way, almost as if he is only focused on the ring, and more specifically his opponent.
YOUR... FAITH LOST...
Steele reaches the ring as he walks around to the steps.
YOU... ARE NOW...
Damien waits at the bottom of the steps keeping his eyes on his opponent.
ONE... OF US...
A wicked smile comes across his face as the words of the song repeat again just a little bit faster this time.
LOVE... YOUR HATE... YOUR... FAITH LOST... YOU... ARE NOW... ONE... OF US...
Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent till he reaches the top step and wipes his feet before entering the ring never taking his eyes off his opponent.
vs.
“The Samoan Executioner” walks into the ring cognizant he’s competing in an unofficial handicap match since two Steve Corman protégés flank Damien Steele’s corner. “The Last Real Man Alive” Jack Adams in particular circles around the arena floor like a shark while Caitlin Shay rests her elbows on the southern apron. Our referee for this bout signals the timekeeper after conducting a thorough foreign object inspection of both combatants. “The Vicious One” appears more agitated during the rigmarole than does TO’A. Steele tries going for a Clothesline but gets dropped with a Warrior Slam from his bitter rival. “The Samoan Executioner” follows up by cranking on an STF, but Steele manages to grab the western bottom ring rope for a break. There isn’t a clean break as TO’A stomps twice at Damien before the referee attempts to jostle him away to little avail. “The Vicious One” grabs a hold of the western ring ropes to pull himself back to a vertical base when he’s caught in a Gargoyle Suplex. Steele bounces back up and manages to create some separation with a Swinging Enzuigiri making him stumble northward. Damien then rolls out onto the southern ring apron, grabs a hold of the top rope, and busts out a Springboard Clothesline. The maneuver causes TO’A to stumble but not topple over completely. Caitlin Shay climbs onto the southern ring apron when the referee tells her to step down. She proceeds to distract the referee long enough for Jack Adams to connect with one crushing blow. Considering old-school professional wrestling logic dictates a Samoan’s head is invulnerable to attack, Adams decides to not go for a Knee Trembler and instead a Running Arched Boot. “The Last Real Man Alive” surmises it’ll be enough impact to cause him to lose balance and thus fall over. Adams connects clean running west to east and back outside without our scheduled official being the wiser. To further misdirect, Caitlin Shay claims the referee should unhand her despite having more than a ring rope between them and he’s only pointing at her. “The Vicious One” then climbs the northeastern turnbuckle and pulls out a phenomenal Phoenix Splash. Between not being able to protect himself from Adams’ boot combined with the aerial assault, TO’A gets pinned in short order but again some fans claim the official might have counted fast.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, DAMIEN STEELE!
Upon hearing the announcement, TO'A goes on a tear and applies the Dream Killer (Dragon Clutch) onto Damien Steele until he starts coughing up some viscous, mucus-like substance. EMTs and other medical staff rush to check on Steele as "The Samoan Executioner" taunts his former brother with a throat slash before pointing to Jack Adams. He, along with Caitlin Shay, appear to have run out of dodge for fear that TO'A might seek alternative means of retribution.
Mike Vincent: It seems some of the fans think it was a fast count, but regardless TO'A gets some comeuppance.
Cole Haywood: The fans are quick to throw excuses when their favorites lose. Shane Gates is an impartial referee.

We cut backstage where Austin Graves and Ryan Starr are conversing.
Austin Graves: So when are you invoking your rematch clause?
Ryan Starr: You know, I held the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship and RSPW Jr. Weight Championship at the same time, on top of that I was also the winner of the 2015 World Super J-Cup. Since 2015 was such a good year for Ryan Starr, I'll let Danny Hall have this one. Because 2016 will be even better when the two of us win a bunch of tag gold. The AXW Tag Titles, we just wrestled in PWR so we could get another chance there. It's not impossible.
Austin Graves: I like the way you're thinking. I guess that means I can give up on my diet if we're not gonna wrestle each other for the Light Heavyweight Championship.
Ryan Starr: How did your diet go, by the way?
Austin Graves: I lost about 0.1 of a pound. Progress is progress.
Ryan Starr: Well you better be prepared to gain about twenty. Next week, we'll be facing Hand of Blood for the Number One Contendership for the AXW Tag Titles, and then at Winterslam, we're taking home the gold.
Ryan and Austin fist bump which sends us to commercial.
NEXT MAJOR BWF NETWORK EVENTS:
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 22
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 31
SATURDAY, JANUARY 16
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the AXW Xperience Championship!
As the tune of 'No One's Gonna Find Her In The Dark', a mashup between Panic! At The Disco and Fall Out Boy, starts to play, the lights go dim. The colors of pink and purple with green lazers start to shine through the area as Velvet comes out from behind the curtain. She points out to the fans while the music continues playing. Velvet walks down the ramp giving the 'rocker' sign and gives high-fives to the fans. She walks up the steps and heads to the ropes. She blows a little kiss and straddles the ropes. Velvet glances into the camera and wiggles while pointing to the camera. As she gets into the ring, the chorus of her music begins to play. As the chorus is playing, Velvet is finally in the ring. She hops up onto the top turnbuckle and gives the 'rocker' sign once again, then yells at the fans to get them psyched up. She then jumps down from the turnbuckle and does a few arm stretches before the match starts.
The lights in the arena go out, one by one, until the entire arena is blanketed in complete darkness. A few seconds pass of this, the crowd cheering loudly, eagerly awaiting whatever is going to come next. The JumboTron comes to life with a neon pink butterfly, slowly flapping its wings against darkness. With every flap of its wings, the arena lights pulse. The flapping gets faster and faster, until finally, the butterfly explodes into glitter. When it does, a stage-wide blast of pink and purple pyro explodes across the stage and as the screen fills with the words "Stutterfly" Starla Gardevoir, "Endless Possibility" by Jaret Reddick begins playing over the sound system!
This is my escape
I'm running through this world
And I'm not looking back
The crowd explodes in a flurry of cheers as Starla Gardevoir struts onto the stage and points to the crowd, grinning. She moves to each side of the stage, posing for the fans, then comes back to the center of the stage before dropping to one knee and posing as a shower of pink pyro begins falling behind her!
'Cause I know I can go
Where no one's ever gone
And I'm not looking back
Starla stands up, still grinning from ear to ear, and then quickly bounds down the ramp, slapping fan's hands along the way. Towards the bottom of the ramp, she stops and turns back to the stage, then poses with her back to the ring. Starla turns back and laughs, then makes her way around ringside, high-fiving fans as she goes.
But how will I know when I get there?
And how will I know when to leave?
We've all got to start from somewhere
It's like that for me
The possibilities are never ending
After a quick trip around the ring, Starla runs towards the ring apron facing the stage and leaps up, turning in midair and sliding from one side of the apron to the other on one knee. Starla stands up and steps over the second rope, then leans in slowly, showcasing her butt for the cheering male fans before entering the ring completely.
I see it, I see it
And now it's all within my reach
Endless possibility
I see it, I see it now
It's always been inside of me
And now I feel so free
Endless possibility
Starla then heads up to the top of the nearest turnbuckle and poses once more. With the fans still cheering, Starla does a backflip off the top rope and lands on her feet, then walks over to the corner across the ring and leans against it, rolling her head back and forth as the music fades.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Introducing first, the challenger, representing The Takeover, from Las Vegas, Nevada, she is one-fourth of the AXW Tag Team Champions, VELVET VALENTINE!
Velvet raises the AXW Tag Team Championship into the air.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And her opponent, from Panama City, Florida, she is the defending AXW Xperience Champion, "Stutterfly" STARLA GARDEVOIR!
Starla raises the Xperience Championsip, as the two share a stare down while hoisting their championships high into the air.
vs.
The two lock up, and with both being the exact same height and weight, neither give an inch. It's Starla who takes Velvet down with a side headlock takedown, which Velvet immediately counters with a leg scissors. Starla maneuvers herself enough to put Velvet in a pinning predicament, causing Velvet to break the hold. The two champions get up and Velvet takes Starla to the mat with a snapmare and follows up with a rolling neck snap. Starla gets back up and is taken back down via Spinning heel kick. Velvet immediately follows up with a Standing moonsault for a two count. Starla gets to her feet once more and is kicked in the gut before being planted with a Spinning powerbomb from Velvet. After another two count, Starla rolls out of the ring to try to gain some composure. Velvet makes sure to stop that by hitting Starla with a Baseball slide. Velvet runs the ropes for momentum and leaps out of the ring with a Running somersault senton onto Starla. Velvet rolls Starla back in the ring and gets another two count. Velvet runs the ropes again only for Starla to catch her with a Spinning Sidewalk Slam! Starla drives Velvet into the mat with a Lifting DDT. Starla connects with a Dragon Suplex Pin, getting a two count. Starla grabs Velvet's head and runs up the turnbuckles for a Sliced Bread #2. Starla repositions Velvet before delivering a Split-Legged Corkscrew Moonsault, immediately followed by a Standing Shooting Star Press in fluid motion. After an unsuccessful pin attempt, Starla looks to whip Velvet but Velvet reverses and sends Starla into the corner. Velvet runs in at Starla but Starla gets her knees up, then quickly pulls herself up to the second turnbuckle and delivers the 343 Guilty Spark (Tornado DDT)! Starla climbs back to the top rope, and leaps off with the R.R.O.D. [Red Ring of Death] (Swanton Bomb)! ...Except Velvet got her knees up and Starla clutches her back in pain. Velvet hoists Starla up for the Black Velvet (Inverted crucifix cutter), but at the last second Starla slips free and locks in It's Super Effective! (Black Widow Submission)! Velvet tries to fight it, but ultimately taps out.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner via submission, and STILL the AXW Xperience Champion, STARLA GARDEVOIR!
Mike Vincent: Wow, what a match between these two. Winning the Xperience Championship really helped Starla get the groove she needed in AXW.
Cole Haywood: I still think her winning the belt at Breakdown was a fluke, but I'll be damned if she didn't impress me in her first two title defenses thus far.
"Endless Possibility" rings through the arena as Jessie McCormick hands the laying down Starla her championship. Starla clutches it before getting to her feet and has her arm raised. She extends her hand to Velvet, who does accept the shake before cutting backstage.
-----
We're in the Steve Corman Guys locker room where the gang is looking at Damien Steele who's holding his throat and coughing occasionally.
Steve Corman: You sure you're okay?
Damien Steele: I'll be fine. *cough*
Steve Corman: Should such an incident occur again, you guys need to get in there immediately. Understand?
Jack and Caitlin: Yes.
Steve Corman: Good. Let's not dwell on earlier though, we need to focus on what's about to happen. Duncan and Jonathan want to come out here every week swinging steel chairs? Fine. We'll do the same.
Steve hands Jack, Damien, and Caitlin a chair each.
Steve Corman: Let's give them a taste of their own medicine. Keep Duncan at bay while I beat Fhenix.
Steve holds his hand out, the rest putting their hands over one at a time.
Steve Corman: Let's go.
They exit the room.
-----
Salvatore Pellegrino: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Main Event scheduled for one fall!
The lights dim as a cold blue hue fills the ramp, we see the face of Jonathan Fhenix flash over our screen with a cold and smug look as a roar of thunder begins "Hide Your Tears" (Rainy Mood Remix) by Yorgos Tzil, the guitar licks of the song kicking in, with the harder, grittier tones to follow, Jonathan Fhenix emerging in a black t-shirt with a single blood red tear drop on the front, with the words "Pay For Your Sins" written in a blood red color.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Introducing first, representing BWF, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 240 pounds, JONATHAN FHENIX!
Fhenix makes his way to the ring, exchanging cold looks of disdain and annoyance to the crowd who boo his every mood. Fhenix enters by the ring steps, Aries sliding underneath as he looks around the ring, that rumble of thunder beginning the slow fade out to the song.
Mike Vincent: Interesting how Fhenix is out here without Aries.
begins to play. The crowd reacts with overall boos and jeers, but there is the small population of fans, for either nostalgia or just plain assholes, that cheer and do the hero worship wave, wearing Icon Merch.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Caitlin Shay, Damien Steele, and Jack Adams, from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 275 pounds, "The Icon" STEVE CORMAN!
Big Stevie Cool walks out dressed in his classic BSC ring attire, black shiny side lace up pants and a black wrestling tank with "BSC" on the front. As well as a black elbow pad on his right elbow with "ICON" written in gold across it. He stops to look around the arena and the boos being thrown in his direction. Corman makes it very clear to the fans that “all of this” is because of Him. He smiles his cocky smile, then double thumb points to himself, taps his right index finger on his temple and slowly pans his left hand, index finger extended, around the arena; indicating that he’s smarter than each and every one of them, then Corman slowly raises his arms over his head, making the trademark Highrollers hand gesture (basically the wolfpack, while moving his thumbs around in the international sign for MONEY). He makes his way to the ring, as the A-Hole High Rollers fans cheer and do the "Icon" worship wave as Corman nods, points, and smiles at the camera. He climbs the stairs, planting each foot, and walks across the apron. He stops and demands that the ring announcer opens the ropes for him. Salvatore shrugs at the referee and quickly scrambles over and holds open the ropes as Corman enters the ring. Corman smirks and again repeats the High Rollers hand gesture by the ropes.
vs.
Jonathan Fhenix looks around at the Corman Guys at ringside. Near his corner is one Jack Adams. Jonathan smiles and waves at his former tag team partner before flipping him off. Jack wastes no time flipping him off back. Jonathan looks as if he's about to lock up with Steve but punches him in the gut. Jonathan winds up his fist, but Steve kicks him in the knee and DDTs him. Steve grabs Jonathan and gives him the Coconut Smash. Steve lifts Jonathan up for a Spinning Sidewalk Slam. He gets a one count before Jonathan gets to his feet. Jonathan hits Steve with a Snap side kick, then a Step up Enziguri, and topped off with a Shining wizard. Jonathan drives Steve head first to the mat with a Jumping piledriver, shocking Jonathan when he only gets a two count. Jonathan lifts Steve for a Double underhook backbreaker, getting another two count. Jonathan brings Steve to his feet and Steve now throws fists at Jonathan. Steve delivers a Double Handed Headbutt, causing Jonathan to stagger back holding his head. Jonathan tries to shake it off and throws a kick but Steve catches it for a Leg Hook Chokeslam. Steve gets a two count, and gets rolled into a small package from Fhenix for almost a three count. Jonathan lifts Steve up for a Stalling brainbuster. Jonathan brings Steve back to his feet as he sends him into the turnbuckles via Release Northern Lights suplex. Jonathan pulls Steve out a bit as he ascends the turnbuckles and delivers the Stock Market Crash (D-Lo Brown's Sky High). Another two count really angers Jonathan as he mouths off at Matt Baker. Jonathan lifts Steve to his feet and out of nowhere Steve hits The Iconic Slam (Rock Bottom)! Steve takes his turn to climb the turnbuckles, removes his elbow pad and tosses it into the crowd, before leaping off with the Superstar Elbow (Test-esk flying elbow). This sees a two count for Steve, who lifts Jonathan up for The Icon-Plex (Exploder Suplex). Steve runs the ropes, but a cameraman trips him, causing mass confusion at ringside. Matt Baker has his attention brought to the cameraman asking him what he's doing. Jonathan takes advantage and spits some green mist into the face of Corman, before quickly hitting Sudden Reality (Regal style running knee trembler) and rolling Steve up, Matt Baker turning back just in time to count the three.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, JONATHAN FHENIX!
Mike Vincent: Who is that cameraman? Fhenix must have paid him off or something!
Cole Haywood: I didn't see nothin' other than Fhenix picking up the one-two-three.
Damien Steele approaches the cameraman, questioning his motives. The cameraman responds by ramming the camera into Steele's face. Jack Adams now comes running around the ring wielding his chair, the cameraman chucking his camera at him, which hits Jack's chair, which hits Jack in the face. The cameraman did a good job hiding his face with the camera as well as a hoodie, but we now clearly see the face of Duncan Aries. While all this has been going on, Baker noticed the mist and has been trying to wash Steve's eyes out with the doctor. Aries enters the ring and he and Fhenix tell Baker and the doctor to get lost. the two stand over Steve who's trying to get to his feet. Out of nowhere Steve low blows Aries, and Caitlin slams her chair into Fhenix's back. Jack falls to his knees and Caitlin locks him in a Koji Clutch. Aries gets to his feet and sees Steve Corman on his feet with his eyesight back and decided to fight another day. Aries pulls Fhenix out of the ring and Caitlin breaks her hold right before he's fully pulled out. The two back up the ramp with Aries raising Fhenix's hand in victory, the two taking a bow while Steve and Caitlin stand tall in the ring.
