After that, we're welcomed by the usual opening package, but with festive music.
Pyro blasts from the stage, ramp, and ring. The cameras pan across the Allstate Arena showing the capacity crowd and their signs.
Lily Luna: We are live on ION and the BWF Network as we come to you from BWF's home in the Allstate Arena! The first AXW show of the year is also the last stop before Winterslam!
Chris Pierce: Winterslam will be live on January 16 on the BWF Network! However today is January 2, I'd like to give a special shoutout to AXW Commentator Cole Haywood who celebrates a birthday today!
Jen Brunelli: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome AXW CEO, LUKE MATHEWS!
Luke Mathews walks out onto the stage.
Luke Mathews: This isn't my first time in this arena, as I'm sure a lot of you people are BWF regulars and have seen me wrestle here. However, this is AXW's first time in this arena and city. In addition to our usual slot on ION, we are also broadcasting live on the BWF Network tonight!
A cheer for the BWF Network.
Luke Mathews: An upcoming event on the BWF Network is AXW's Winterslam, and I'm out here right now to start finalizing the matches. At Winterslam, Janet Hurricane will face Hailey Harris. Both women will be searched prior to the match to ensure they have no weapons on them. It will also be contested in a 2 out of 3 falls match. The winner of the match will also jump ahead in line for contention for the AXW Women's Championship. Mercer Prime will face Chaz Anix, where the winner will face Starla Gardevoir later in the night for the Xperience Championship, and that's only if Starla Gardevoir retains tonight. Android 18 will have a rematch against Tatau, and if Android 18 wins the Xperience Championship tonight, she will defend it against Tatau at Winterslam. Deimos will go head to head with Bruiser Lazzou, this time in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. Damien Steele (pop) will face TO'A, with the rest of Steve Corman's Guys banned from ringside. And let's make that match interesting, Damien Steele and TO'A will face in a Death Match. Crash Jackson will take on Duncan Aries, with Jonathan Fhenix banned from ringside. Jonathan and Duncan are also banned for the Main Event between David Slayton and Steve Corman.
Luke Mathews: Now that that's out of the way, I can announce tonight's Main Event. In tonight's Main Event, we will see The Alliance of Truth vs. Steve Corman and Jack Adams... vs. David Slayton and Crash Jackson in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match! Enjoy the show!
Luke Mathews walks to the back as we move on to our first match.
"Second Sucks" by A Day to Remember plays and out walks Toa with the towel, drenched in blood, wrapped around his neck. He is staring down on the ground and listening to the boos and cheers coming from the fans.
"FIGHT"
Jen Brunelli: This opening contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, from the Isle of Samoa, weighing in at 280 pounds, "Samoan Executioner" TO'A!
Once he hears the opening line, he starts walking down the ramp, still not showing his face. When he walks up the steel steps and enters the ring, he throws the towel on the ground and does a battle cry.
"Throne" hits and Ethan Cutler steps out from the back, gripping the elbow pad for his right arm in hand. He takes a good look at the crowd before raising his right arm high to show off his "Off With Their Head" tattoo on his outer forearm and high-arced pyro fountains ignite on either side of the ramp. He lowers his arm and slides the elbow pad on, then proceeds to walk drown the ramp under the archway of pyro.
Jen Brunelli: And his opponent, from Rapid City, South Dakota, weighing in at 232 pounds, "Mr. Clothesline" ETHAN CUTLER!
Upon reach the ring he jumps from the ring floor onto the apron, then steps through the ropes. After bouncing off the ropes a few times, he settles down and waits at once side for the match to begin.
vs.
Ethan knows this is not an easy task as he immediately tries to catch TO'A off guard with various strikes. Ethan kicks TO'A in the gut and hoists him up in the air, before slamming on the mat with a thunderous Delayed Vertical Suplex. Ethan tries to lift TO'A for a German Suplex but TO'A hits a hard elbow to Ethan's head to get free. TO'A sends Ethan across the ring with an Exploder Suplex. TO'A clotheslines Ethan over the rope and to the floor. TO'A comes flying out of the ring with an Elbow Suicida (Suicide dive transitioned into a flying forearm smash). Ethan sells by going over the barricade and landing at the feet of those in the first row. TO'A tries to lift Ethan to his feet from the other side but Ethan rocks him with a European uppercut. Ethan climbs onto the barricade and leaps off with a clothesline. Ethan gets TO'A back in the ring. Ethan runs over at TO'A only for TO'A to plant him with the Warrior Slam (One-armed side slam, as a counter to an oncoming opponent). Ethan crawls to the corner to help himself up. TO'A runs in and delivers a cornered forearm smash before connecting with the Executioner (Jumping twisting enzuigiri while facing away from a cornered opponent). Ethan slumps to the corner which allows TO'A to follow up with Samoan Wrecking Ball (Running hip attack to the head of an opponent seated in the corner with theatrics). TO'A gets a two count before bringing Ethan back to his feet and Ethan counters with a Belly 2 Belly Suplex. Ethan spins TO'A around with a Giant Swing. Ethan rips off his elbow pad to reveal his "Off With Their Head" tattoo and drops to a three point stance. Ethan starts sprinting across the ring for his Verdict Lariat but TO'A back body drops him over the rope and back to the floor. The crowd starts to cheer as Damien Steele slides into the ring and cracks TO'A in the back with a chair.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner as a result of a disqualification, TO'A!
Damien Steele runs the ropes before driving TO'A face first into the mat with the Loony Stomp. Damien extends his arms as he soaks in cheers from his hometown crowd.
Lily Luna: Damien Steele has made a statement to TO'A in his hometown.
Chris Pierce: The whole crowd loves him, unfortunately, TO'A does not and that's gonna come back to bite Damien.

We cut backstage to the interview set.
Renee Peltier: Ladies and gentlemen my guest at this time, AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, Danny Hall!
Danny steps into the frame.
Renee Peltier: Danny, I just wanna know how you're feeling heading into your match at Winter...
Renee and Danny both look off frame as someone is heard yelling something inaudible. Craig Brooks enters frame doubling over, gasping for breath.
Craig Brooks: Da... Dan... Danny... I was told... to give this... to you... it's... urgent.
Craig hands Danny an envelope before collapsing on the floor. Renee gasps and goes to check on Craig but Danny stops her.
Danny Hall: Hey! This interview is about me, not him!
Danny opens up the envelope and pulls out a piece of paper. He begins to read it.
Danny Hall: "Dear Danny, whether you win or lose at Winterslam, it makes no difference. Your days are numbered, and you can no longer run. The target is now on you, you are no longer safe. Yours truly, SDS." ...SDS?
Renee Peltier: So... what are you going to do about that?
Danny Hall: Nothing. If you wanna threaten me, say it to my face.
Danny Hall balls up the paper and tosses it away, and steps over Craig as he exits frame. Renee kneels down next to Craig. She pulls out a Twinkie and waves it in front of his face, as he starts to reanimate.

Saturday, January 16
Monday, January 25
As Footsteps by Pop Evil begins to blare through the speakers of the arena, Ryan comes out from behind the curtain. He stands and looks out into the crowd.
Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, representing War Horse, from Tampa, Florida, weighing in at 195 pounds, "The World Class Workhorse" RYAN STARR!
He then runs down the ramp, hitting hands with the fans and slides into the ring. Then he goes up onto the ropes and bounces on them, trying to get the fans all hyped up for the match. He then jumps in the ring a little to get warped up to face his opponent.
"Breaking and Entering" hits as Zoey Mathews-Mitchell emerges from behind the curtain. She stands on the stage, back facing the ring, her arms outspread with hands open. She turns around, now facing the ring, and quickly throws her arms into the air, her hands in a fist, except for her pointer fingers which are extended, as pyro blasts on the stage. She lowers her arms and begins walking down the ramp.
Jen Brunelli: And his opponent, from Riviera Beach, Florida, she is one of the AXW Tag Team Champions, ZOEY MATHEWS-MITCHELL!
She high fives some of the fans at ringside, before climbing onto the apron. She scans the crowd, and raises one arm into the air, before jumping over the top rope. She climbs onto a turnbuckle and throws her arms out to her sides, before raising them into the air, similar to what she did on the stage.
vs.
They lock up with Ryan taking Zoey to the mat with a side headlock takedown. They pop up with Ryan executing a picture perfect dropkick. Ryan locks in a chinlock which Zoey manages to fight out of. Zoey hits a calf kick to Ryan and follows up with a hard European uppercut. Ryan tries to fight back with a clothesline but Zoey catches it for an Arm Trap Neckbreaker. Zoey nails Ryan with a Roundhouse Kick and follows up with a Dragon Suplex. Zoey tries to lock in a Crossface but Ryan gets to the ropes before she can lock it in. Ryan uses the ropes to help him up and when Zoey approaches him he kicks her, the momentum causing him to backflip over the rope and to the apron. Ryan springboards back into the ring with a flying forearm smash. Ryan delivers an enzuigiri, and follows up with a Swinging Neckbreaker. Ryan whips Zoey to the corner, Zoey stops herself from colliding with the turnbuckles by leaping to the second turnbuckle and taking Ryan down with a Diving Back Elbow. Zoey runs the ropes and nails Ryan with a Shotgun Kick. Zoey lifts Ryan for a Firebomb (Fireman Carry Powerbomb), but Ryan counters with a hurricanrana. The two get up and Zoey kicks Ryan in the gut before planting him with a Lifting DDT. Zoey goes to the ropes for a top rope springboard moonsault but Ryan gets his knees up. Ryan takes Zoey down with an Inverted overdrive. Ryan locks Zoey in the Code Red (Cross-legged triangle choke)! Zoey has nowhere to go but is trying to fight it, when Ryan starts kicking her in the head as well, which leads to Zoey tapping out.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner as a result of a submission, RYAN STARR!
Lily Luna: Each member of War Horse now have back to back wins over members of the Takeover.
Chris Pierce: Good effort by them, however winning singles matches and winning tag matches are two different beasts. What's gonna count is if they beat the Takeover at Winterslam, and they still don't know which two they're facing.
"Footsteps" plays as Ryan Starr gets back to his feet. He climbs turnbuckles in celebration and ghost belts to indicate War Horse will be the next tag team champions.
-----
As Starr and Mathews-Mitchell exit ringside,
Bruiser Lazzou comes through the curtain as soon as his music hits. He walks around the ring to snatch a microphone before rolling into the ring.
Bruiser Lazzou: Cut the damn music! I'm not out here to rant and rave, I'm hear to kick some ass. They say patience is a virtue, but it's a virtue that I don't have right now. And if everything goes the way it should, Deimos isn't gonna make it to Calgary. So Deimos, get your ass out here!
A moment passes and Deimos is nowhere to be found. He appears on the jumbotron.
Deimos: Do you honestly think that I'm going to come out there on your terms? What kind of fool do you take me for, old man? I'm not coming out there because you want me to. I'll come out there when I want to come out there. In fact, if I were you, I'd be watching my back.
The jumbotron cuts to black and Lazzou turns around and gets jacked by The Halberd (Straight Uppercut) from Deimos! Deimos drags Lazzou to the ropes and chokes him on the bottom rope. Deimos rolls Lazzou out of the ring and he falls to the floor. Deimos goes after him and picks him up, and Lily and Chris just get out of dodge as Lazzou gets thrown into the announce table, tipping the whole table over. Deimos picks Lazzou back up and throws him into the ring steps. Deimos slams Lazzou down on the lower half of the stairs then grabs the top half. He lifts the top half up as if he's about to slam them down on him, when referees and security flood the area to try to stop him. Some try to grab the stairs out of his hands, but it doesn't stop him as he still slams them down hard onto Lazzou. The personnel now push Deimos back and Luke Mathews himself comes down to instruct Deimos to exit the arena. A stretcher is wheeled down but Lazzou refuses medical attention and gets up mostly on his own power.
------
When ringside clears once more, we head into the next match.
"Invincible" by Amaranthe hits, the fast pounding drums blaring loudly from the speakers as the lights dim completely. They come back to Lazuli standing at the entrance ramp, head down, the words 'The code awakens me' flash along the jumbotron behind her as she opens her eyes and brings her head up slowly. She walks stoically down the ramp, a smirk spreading over her face as she goes. She stops in the middle of the ramp, raising her hands to actually sign the words 'I am Invincible.' Before continuing on and leaping straight up onto the ring post, she signs ''I am Invincible' one more time, entering the ring and awaiting the match to start.
The lights in the arena go out, one by one, until the entire arena is blanketed in complete darkness. A few seconds pass of this, the crowd cheering loudly, eagerly awaiting whatever is going to come next. The JumboTron comes to life with a neon pink butterfly, slowly flapping its wings against darkness. With every flap of its wings, the arena lights pulse. The flapping gets faster and faster, until finally, the butterfly explodes into glitter. When it does, a stage-wide blast of pink and purple pyro explodes across the stage and as the screen fills with the words "Stutterfly" Starla Gardevoir, "Endless Possibility" by Jaret Reddick begins playing over the sound system!
This is my escape
I'm running through this world
And I'm not looking back
The crowd explodes in a flurry of cheers as Starla Gardevoir struts onto the stage and points to the crowd, grinning. She moves to each side of the stage, posing for the fans, then comes back to the center of the stage before dropping to one knee and posing as a shower of pink pyro begins falling behind her!
'Cause I know I can go
Where no one's ever gone
And I'm not looking back
Starla stands up, still grinning from ear to ear, and then quickly bounds down the ramp, slapping fan's hands along the way. Towards the bottom of the ramp, she stops and turns back to the stage, then poses with her back to the ring. Starla turns back and laughs, then makes her way around ringside, high-fiving fans as she goes.
But how will I know when I get there?
And how will I know when to leave?
We've all got to start from somewhere
It's like that for me
The possibilities are never ending
After a quick trip around the ring, Starla runs towards the ring apron facing the stage and leaps up, turning in midair and sliding from one side of the apron to the other on one knee. Starla stands up and steps over the second rope, then leans in slowly, showcasing her butt for the cheering male fans before entering the ring completely.
I see it, I see it
And now it's all within my reach
Endless possibility
I see it, I see it now
It's always been inside of me
And now I feel so free
Endless possibility
Starla then heads up to the top of the nearest turnbuckle and poses once more. With the fans still cheering, Starla does a backflip off the top rope and lands on her feet, then walks over to the corner across the ring and leans against it, rolling her head back and forth as the music fades.
Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall, and is for the AXW Xperience Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, from Cork, Ireland, ANDROID 18!
You can see the intense look in Android's eyes as she signs "I am invincible" in sign language.
Jen Brunelli: And her opponent, from Panama City, Florida, she is the defending AXW Xperience Champion, "Stutterfly" STARLA GARDEVOIR!
Starla climbs a turnbuckle and raises her championship into the air.
vs.
AXW Xperience ChampionshipThe two women lock up with Android 18 lifting Starla into the air and just slamming her down onto the mat. Starla gets back up and chops Android, Android looking unaffected. Stala chops again, and Android still doesn't budge. Starla runs the ropes and tries a clothesline but Android ducks it. Android hits several Knife edge chops, each one making Starla's chest more red. Android tries whipping Starla to the ropes but Starla sends Android instead. Android comes off the ropes with a huge Super Electric Strike (Striking spear)! Android quickly springs off the second rope for a Graceful Orbit (Lionsalt), only earning a two count. Android picks Starla back to her feet and Starla delivers a jawbreaker. Android tries to get back on the attack as she runs at Starla but Starla scoops her up for a beautiful Spinning Sidewalk Slam. Starla grabs Android's head and runs up the turnbuckles delivering Sliced Bread #2. Starla gets a two count and slams Android back to the mat with a Corkscrew Neckbreaker. Starla jumps up for a Standing Shooting Star Press, but Android gets her knees up. Android hoists Starla up with a Sitout Powerbomb that gets a two count. Android follows up with a Lifting Double Underhook Facebuster. Android now scouts Starla, waiting for her to get up. Android wrings the arm of Starla and delivers the Buster Swing (Inverted stomp facebreaker)! Android hooks the inside leg of Starla as Jessie McCormick counts the pin.
One!
Two!
Starla gets the outside leg on the bottom rope!
Android 18 waits for Starla to get back up, before running to the ropes. Upon reaching the ropes, Tatau pops out from under the ring and trips Android, before forcefully pulling her out to the floor.
Jen Brunelli: The winner as a result of a disqualification, Android 18! However still the Xperience Champion, Starla Gardevoir!
Tatau lifts Android up, delivering the Tatau-erbomb (Scoop lift powerbomb) onto the floor! She doesn't stop there, as she picks Android up for another Tatau-erbomb, this one onto the edge of the apron! And for good measure, Tatau picks up Android, Tatau-erbombing her onto the announce table, as Android slumps to the floor.
Lily Luna: A lot of frustration is being let out tonight, unfortunately at other people's expenses.
Chris Pierce: First was Damien Steele and TO'A, then Bruiser Lazzou and Deimos, and now Tatau and Android 18. People think snow is pretty, but Winterslam certainly won't be if this is the kind of stuff we're going to see.
Tatau is happy with what she has done as she makes her way to the back. Starla exits the ring to check on Android, and tries to help her up. Android pushes Starla away and tries to get up on her own, but can't. Medical personnel rush back down to properly escort Android out of the arena as we cut to commercial.
Who walked out of Santa Clara as BWF Champion?
Watch the Wrestlefest replay on the BWF Network!
We return backstage where Max Kilburne catches up with Tatau.
Max Kilburne: Uh, Tatau, if I could just get a moment...
Tatau whips her head to look at Max.
Max Kilburne: ..Can you explain your actions moments ago?
Tatau: ...Was it not clear enough for you? Android 18 cost me the Women's Championship. I cost her the Xperience Championship. It all comes full circle.
Max Kilburne: But... if she won the Xperience title, she would have defended it against you at Winterslam.
Tatau: I don't give a damn about any title at this point. All I want is to slay the so called "monster slayer." Such a shame that a career has to end so abruptly... but that is Android's fate. Now, leave.
Max doesn't hesitate to scurry off as the imposing figure looks on.
-----
All the lights in the arena flick off except for a single gold light aimed on the entrance stage. 'Come To Life' by Alter Bridge starts blasting out of the speakers around the arena. Mercer Prime walks out from the back as the rest of the arena is lit up with gold light. Mercer stands on the stage and throws up both arms and lets out a roar before heading down to the ring.
Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, from Dayton, Ohio, weighing in at 225 pounds, MERCER PRIME!
The lights all go out and "Miseria Cantare" by AFI starts as a single spotlight shines on the entrance as Damien Steele is standing in the entrance hair in front of his face as at the 45 second mark of the song. Damien flips his hair back and starts to walk down to the ring, as the words of the song start.
LOVE... YOUR HATE...
Jen Brunelli: And his opponent, weighing in at 221 pounds, he is "The Vicious One" and Chicago's own, DAMIEN STEELE!
Damien Steele makes no connection to any fans that might be throwing insults his way, almost as if he is only focused on the ring, and more specifically his opponent.
YOUR... FAITH LOST...
Steele reaches the ring as he walks around to the steps.
YOU... ARE NOW...
Damien waits at the bottom of the steps keeping his eyes on his opponent.
ONE... OF US...
A wicked smile comes across his face as the words of the song repeat again just a little bit faster this time.
LOVE... YOUR HATE... YOUR... FAITH LOST... YOU... ARE NOW... ONE... OF US...
Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent till he reaches the top step and wipes his feet before entering the ring never taking his eyes off his opponent.
vs.
Mercer looks across the ring to Damien, who is garnering overwhelming support as the crowd chants "DAMIEN" at the top of their lungs. They lock up, Mercer quickly gets Damien in an arm wringer then throws an elbow, another elbow, several more elbows. Mercer lifts Damien up in a fireman's carry, then tosses him throat first onto the top rope, followed by a Wheelbarrow facebuster. Mercer whips Damien into the corner and runs after him, Damien side steps and Mercer collides with the turnbuckles. Damien stomps away on Mercer in the corner. Damien lifts Mercer onto the top rope and takes him to the mat with a superplex. Damien gets a two count and Mercer uses the ropes to help him up. Damien clotheslines Mercer over the rope but he stays on the apron. Damien goes out to the apron and grabs Mercer, slamming him hard onto the apron with a Falling Paroxysm. Mercer falls to the floor and Damien slides back into the ring, demanding that Brian Sullivan count him out. Damien raises in arms in early celebration as the crowd cheers him on. Mercer gets back in the ring at the count of 12. Mercer catches Damien from behind with a Primal Slam (Full Nelson Slam). Mercer hooks Damien's arms and drives him to the mat with a Double Arm DDT. Mercer brings Damien to his feet and out of nowhere Damien takes Mercer down with an Asai DDT. Damien lifts Mercer up for a Buckle Bomb, then plants Mercer with an F5. Damien looks like he's about to set up for the Loony Stomp, when...
TO'A has no problem of making his presence known as he comes right through the curtain at "FIGHT!" TO'A walks down the ramp as Damien is yelling at him. This allows Mercer to turn Damien around and lift him onto his shoulders, planting Damien to the mat with No Mercy (Fireman's Carry Cutter), as he gets the pinfall victory.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, MERCER PRIME!
Lily Luna: Mercer Prime gets a win as he heads into Winterslam to face Chaz Anix.
Chris Pierce: If it weren't for TO'A however, he may not have picked up this win.
Mercer exits the ring, celebrating, as TO'A enters the ring. Damien doesn't even have a chance to get up before finding himself in a Coquina Clutch. TO'A is foaming at the mouth as he chokes the life out of Damien Steele. Jack Adams and Caitlin Shay run down to the ring and TO'A breaks the hold and exits the ring, casually walking to the back, the damage has been done. Jack and Caitlin check on Damien as we cut backstage.
-----
Gina Furlow is standing by with Chaz Anix and Chester Andrews.
Gina Furlow: Earlier tonight, Android 18 was not able to win the Xperience Championship, which means your match against Mercer Prime at Winterslam will determine the Number One Contender for the Xperience Title, and the winner faces Starla Gardevoir later in the same night. I just wanna get your guys' thoughts on the potential two matches at Winterslam.
Chester Andrews: Make no mistake about it, honey, it's not potentially, it will happen. Did you see Mercer Prime's match? He only won due to interference. Chaz Anix has won every match of his clean.
Gina Furlow: You literally distracted Jack Adams last week to allow Chaz to win.
Chester Andrews: I am a manager, I was coaching my son so he could get the ball rolling.
Gina Furlow: Well, regardless, if you beat Mercer Prime at Winterslam--
Chaz Anix: When I beat Mercer Prime at Winterslam. Continue.
Gina Furlow: ...You have to compete in a second match against a fresh Starla Gardevoir.
"That's not true."
Mercer Prime approaches the scene.
Mercer Prime: Because I'm gonna be the one who goes on to face Starla Gardevoir, after I embarrass you at Winterslam.
Chaz and Mercer go nose to nose as we head to commercial.
Tuesdays on BWF Network!
"Snake Charmer" hits as a strobe light show begins. A little bit of smoke pours over the stage. A little after 30 seconds, when the snare roll comes in, is when Caitlin Shay emerges from the back. She stops on the stage, and looks around the crowd, sneering, unhappy about having to be in Chicago.
Jen Brunelli: This next contest is a Fatal Four Way Match set for one fall! Introducing first, from Pinecrest, Florida, CAITLIN SHAY!
She makes her way down to the ring, where she climbs onto the apron. She takes a moment to talk down to the crowd before entering the ring. She walks to the opposite ropes, with her arms spread, and a smile on her face as if to say, "I'm better than you." The music fades out as we await for the match to start.
“S-P-I-R-I-T
Spirit!! Let’s hear it!!
S-P-I-R-I-T
Spirit!! Let’s hear it!!”
Blue strobe lights roams around the arena like a trance as the opening tune of "Happy Song” by Bring Me The Horizon blares out of the PA system.
“LET’S GO!”
Out comes Janet Hurricane, her hoodie veil blinding her face. As the tempo gets faster and faster, we see her jumping up and down, still cannot see her face. Once we hear the lyrics, Janet reveals her face to the crowd and starts shadowing punching and kicking, feeling the energy of her theme song.
Jen Brunelli: From Charlotte, North Carolina, she is "The Queen of the Ravenous Generation" JANET HURRICANE!
She then starts walking her way to the ring, bopping her head to the music and in her own zone, not giving a damn about the fans’ reaction. Once she enters the ring, she takes off her hoodie and does a couple of shadow boxing, again feeling the energy of the music before it fades.
The tunes of "Unbreakable" by Fireflight pulse over the PA system as pink and purple strobelights flash and pulse. Hailey emerges, bouncing up and down, firing the crowd up before sprinting down the ramp, slapping hands with fans, both of her arms extended.
Jen Brunelli: From Baltimore, Maryland, "The Longshot" HAILEY HARRIS!
She slides into the ring and scales a turnbuckle, one hand on her hip, the other raised high in the air. She jumps off the turnbuckle with a smile, prepared for her match.
“Like A Prayer” by Madonna plays through the speakers providing a peppy ambiance. The entire arena goes dark momentarily as “Sister Inferior” Olya Latanya Oglovska enters from the ramp with a pair of opera binoculars in her right hand. Three spotlights highlight various audience members who have striking physical attributes. As Olya walks down to the ramp she fans herself with a bidder paddle.
Jen Brunelli: And from Saratov, Russia, she is the AXW Women's Champion, "Sister Inferior" OLYA OGLOVSKA!
Upon reaching the arena floor and within clear eye line of her opponent, all three spotlights converge. Oglovska raises her bidder paddle to indicate she plans on procuring another priceless artifact for her exhibit.
vs.
vs.
vs.
Olya and Caitlin lock up while Hailey and Janet throw fists and strikes at each other. Caitlin locks Olya in a side headlock while Janet throws Hailey through the ropes and to the floor. Olya takes Caitlin down with a back suplex while Janet exits after Hailey. Olya delivers a Fisherwoman's Suplex to Caitlin, and Janet throws Hailey hard into the ring post. Janet slides into the ring after Olya delivers a Wheelbarrow Suplex to Caitlin. Janet nails Olya with a running knee, then tosses her shoulder first into the ring post, Olya slumping out of the ring and landing on the floor near Hailey. Janet plants Caitlin with the Tropical Storm (Forward Russian Legsweep), earning a two count. Caitlin gets to her feet and Janet looks for a clothesline which Caitlin ducks, then promptly throws Janet onto the back of her neck with a Shayplex (Half Dragon Half Tiger Suplex). Janet rolls out of the ring holding her neck, near Olya and Hailey who are coming to. Caitlin runs the ropes for momentum then dives over the top rope for a tope con hilo, but the other three manage to catch her. Caitlin pleads to just let her down, and the other three oblige by tossing her hard onto the ramp. Hailey immediately grabs Janet and drives her down onto the floor with The Long Shot (Twist Of Fate). Olya kicks Hailey in the gut upon her standing up and rolls her into the ring. Olya rolls in after and plants Hailey with a Sombo Suplex. Olya lifts Hailey up for an Airplane Spin, and upon setting her down rocks her with the Soviet Sickle [Shades of Lance Storm's Superkick]. Olya covers but Caitlin manages to get in and break the pin up. Caitlin just tosses Olya out of the ring, and talks some smack to her, before turning around and being driven to the mat by a Baltimore Bombshell (Double Underhook snap DDT) from Hailey. Hailey ascends the turnbuckles and connects with Hailey’s Comet (450 Splash)! However, Janet comes in just in time to chuck Hailey into Olya who was climbing on the apron, as the two take nasty bumps to the floor. Janet quickly covers Caitlin, getting the victory.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, JANET HURRICANE!
Lily Luna: Janet used the numbers to her advantage as she picks up the victory tonight.
Chris Pierce: The only number she has to worry about now is two, as in picking up two out of three falls against Hailey at Winterslam.
"Happy Song" replays as Shane Gates raises Janet's hand. Hailey slides back into the ring but Janet quickly rolls out, hops the barricade and backs through the fans with her hands held high. She jerks her body from time to time to avoid being touched by the fans.

We cut to a dimly lit undisclosed part of the arena. Theres a stand of sorts with what looks like toy AXW Tag Team Championships on it. Ryan Starr and Austin Graves enter the frame, wearing their respective t-shirts. They're also wearing The Takeover neoprene masks as they parody The Takeover.
Ryan Starr: Numbers. We talk about them a lot because we're the largest stable in AXW and that gives us an advantage.
Austin Graves: *mumble mumble mumble*
Ryan Starr: What?
Austin pulls the mask off.
Austin Graves: Man I can't breathe in this damn thing! People actually buy these things?
Ryan pulls his down as well.
Ryan Starr: Apparently so.
Austin Graves: Well, The Takeover is nothing more than Pushovers, am I right?
Ryan Starr: I feel like that joke has been said before, but yeah, you're right.
Austin Graves: What exactly are you taking over? All you have are two championships. You just vaguely say that you're taking over, but, everything's still the same.
Ryan Starr: Quite frankly, it's just a way for them to pretend that they're cool. They can make a bunch of money on their shirts and these stupid masks, but they can't beat War Horse.
Austin Graves: Last week, I, the
War Machine, knocked Malcolm Mitchell silly, and he never recovered.
Ryan Starr: And just tonight, I, the World Class Work
horse, made Zoey Mitchell eat her words and proved that no, she is not as good as I am.
Austin Graves: And then there's those other two whose names I forgot. What were they? Leland Valentine and Velvet Cheesecake?
Ryan Starr: I think Leland Valentine is that guy in SCW with the twin brother.
Austin Graves: Eh, who cares, really.
Ryan Starr: The point is, come Winterslam, no one's gonna remember any of your names, as we're gonna make you an after thought.
They put the replica belts over their shoulders.
Austin Graves: This is a sight that you're gonna have to get used to, because War Horse will be your next AXW Tag Team Champions.
Ryan Starr: And you can count on that.

Jen Brunelli: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Main Event! It is a Triple Threat Tag Team Match set for one fall, where one member from each team will be in the ring at once. They can only tag out to their respective partner.
The lights dim as a cold blue hue fills the ramp, we see the faces of Jonathan Fhenix and Duncan Aries flash over our screen with equally cold and smug looks as a roar of thunder begins "Hide Your Tears" (Rainy Mood Remix) by Yorgos Tzil, the guitar licks of the song kicking in, with the harder, grittier tones to follow, Duncan Aries and Jonathan Fhenix emerging in matching black t-shirts with a single blood red tear drop on the front, Fhenix's with the words "Pay For Your Sins" and Aries with a "Sorry Not Sorry" both written in the same blood red color.
Jen Brunelli: Introducing first, at a combined weight of 478 pounds, the team of Duncan Aries and Jonathan Fhenix, THE ALLIANCE OF TRUTH!
Fhenix and Aries make their way to the ring, exchanging cold looks of disdain and annoyance to the crowd who boo their every mood. Fhenix enters by the ring steps, Aries sliding underneath as they look around the ring, that rumble of thunder beginning the slow fade out to the song.

Steve Corman and Jack Adams walk out onto the stage, soaking in the mixed reaction from the crowd.
Jen Brunelli: Next, at a combined weight of 513 pounds, the team of JACK ADAMS and STEVE CORMAN!
Steve and Jack make their way down the ramp. Jen holds the ropes open for Steve and Jack. Steve throws up the High Rollers hand sign while Jack Adams shouts "Last real man alive!"
"Remedy" by Seether blasts out throughout the arena as ‘The Titan’ Crash Jackson walks out to the top of the ramp. He bounces from foot to foot psyching himself up for his match. He tenses his body up and then throws his arms out to either side and lets out a mighty roar while a small pyrotechnics display goes on right behind him. He starts making his way down to the ring slapping hands with some of the fans on his way.
Jen Brunelli: From Miami, Florida, weighing in at 258 pounds, "The Titan" CRASH JACKSON!
Crash slides in under the bottom ropes to enter the ring. He goes over to a turnbuckle and climbs to the second rope. He beats on his chest with a clenched fist and then throws the same fist up into the air, oozing with pure intensity as he yells out to the crowd. Crash jumps down from there and readies himself in his corner to start the match.
PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT!
The lights in the arena all cut to black and the Tron comes to life, pulsating with a green light as a quiet beat gets louder with every flash. It gets faster and faster, and louder with each pulse, until the pulsating light explodes into the words "Blazenwing Rises" and “The Phoenix” by Fall Out Boy blares across the arena sound system.
You are a brick tied to me that's dragging me down
Strike a match and I'll burn you to the ground
We are the jack-o-lanterns in July
Setting fire to the sky
He-here comes this rising tide
So come on
PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT!
The stage fills with smoke and the crowd rises to their feet, cheering loudly, as the smoke clears on the stage and a man in a dark green trenchcoat stands, head down, facing the Tron. He raises his hands and snaps his fingers, causing four loud bursts of pyro to ignite, two on each side of him, before spinning around Y2J style to reveal David Slayton!
Jen Brunelli: And his partner, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, weighing in at 245 pounds, he is the AXW Champion, "The New Hotness" DAVID SLAYTON!
Cross walks and crossed hearts and hope-to-dies
Silver clouds with grey linings
So we can take the world back from the heart-attacked
One maniac at a time we will take it back
You know time crawls on when you're waiting for the song to start
So dance alone to the beat of your heart
His sunglasses shining with the glare from the arena lights, David looks to the left, then to the right, nodding towards the crowd before walking down the ramp. After stopping to slap hands with a few fans, David moves towards the ring steps and hops up and down a few times in front of them before quickly racing up the steps to the apron side facing the stage. He stops and pulls his sunglasses off, then tosses them behind his head into the crowd before leaning down and stepping through the ropes to enter the ring.
Hey young blood
Doesn't it feel like our time is running out?
I'm gonna change you like a remix
Then I'll raise you like a phoenix
You're wearing our vintage misery
No, I think it looked a little better on me
I'm gonna change you like a remix
Then I'll raise you like a phoenix
David walks across the ring and leaps up onto the second rope in the corner nearest the timekeeper, then pulls off his green trenchcoat and tosses it towards the timekeeper. David smirks and points to the fans, then slaps his chest a few times and points up towards the sky, closing his eyes and saying a short prayer. David leaps down from the corner and immediately turns to sit down in the same corner, ala Raven. David then rests his head on the second turnbuckle pad as his theme fades and the crowd continues cheering.

Triple Threat Tag TeamThe starting participants are Jonathan Fhenix, Jack Adams, and Crash Jackson. Fhenix and Adams, former tag team partners known as 2 Man Gang, get in each other's face and mouth off at one another. This allows Crash Jackson to come in and clothesline the two of them. Adams is up first and Crash throws him up into the air and lets him free fall to the mat. Fhenix on the other hand runs right into a powerslam. Jackson grabs Adams in a headlock and brings him to his corner where Jackson tags in Slayton. The duo deliver a double suplex to Adams. Fhenix kicks Slayton in the gut and lifts him up for a Stalling brainbuster. Fhenix gets floored by Adams who hits a Running Arched Boot. Adams tags out to Corman who takes down anything that moves with clotheslines. Corman tries to lift Fhenix for a suplex but he counters with a DDT. Fhenix tags out to Aries and Aries comes in fist fighting Slayton. Slayton ducks a punch and takes Aries down with Triple German Suplexes. Slayton hands Aries off to Corman who delivers three more German Suplexes to Aries as Slayton tags out to Jackson. Corman whips Aries into the ropes and steps out of the way, allowing Jackson to break Aries in half with a Blind Rage (High Impact Spear). Aries rolls out of the ring, and Corman now focuses on Jackson, taking him to the mat with a Half Nelson/Half Waistlock, leaping mat slam, and trying to follow up with The Famouser (Crossface), but Jackson fights out of it before it's locked in. Corman sends Jackson towards his corner with The Icon-Plex (Exploder Suplex) and tags back in Adams. Adams lifts Jackson up for Running Corner Powerbomb, and follows up with the Meathook Clothesline. Meanwhile, on the outside, Aries, who's on his knees still selling the 6 suplexes and spear, seems to be scheming with Fhenix. While Adams and Jackson are fighting, Aries and Fhenix sneak around ringside, with Aries yanking Corman off the apron, who hits the apron face first, and Fhenix does the same to Slayton. Aries slams Corman on the floor with The Culmination (Front slam pickup swung into a Rock Bottom), and Fhenix takes out Slayton with Try To Breathe (High flap jack hot shot onto the apron, followed by a stiff running kick aimed right at the throat). The two slide in the ring. Adams and Jackson who have been fighting back and forth, turn their attention to them. Adams goes after them first and just gets tossed out of the ring. Fhenix quickly heads back to his corner while Aries ducks a clothesline from Jackson and nails him with an Enter Gideon (Disaster Kick). Aries tags in Fhenix. Fhenix comes in and Jackson is already back to his feet, and kicks Fhenix in the gut before picking him up for a suplex. Fhenix, however, counters into a small package, Jackson not able to kick out in time.
Jen Brunelli: Here are your winners, THE ALLIANCE OF TRUTH!
Lily Luna: The Alliance of Truth steal a win here tonight.
Chris Pierce: I'm not the biggest supporter of the Alliance of Truth, but they really didn't steal anything tonight. Jackson was at fault for not being aware as he should have been to kick out.
"Hide Your Tears" plays once again as AoT quickly head up the ramp, smiling and high fiving. When they reach the top of the stage, they both take a bow as the crowd boos. Jackson is in the ring, furious. Slayton is starting to come to, holding his throat and coughing. Adams is helping Corman get to his feet.
Lily Luna: Well, that's our show for tonight, thanks for tuning in!
Chris Pierce: Our next stop is Calgary as we bring you Winterslam, available on the BWF Network!
