Episode XXVIII
Pyro blasts from the stage and ramp before the cameras pan across the crowd.
Lily Luna: Welcome to the Alternative! I'm Lily Luna along with Chris Pierce.
Chris Pierce: And we're gonna kick things off with some tag team action!
vs.
A highly competitive back and forth match up as these two teams look to enter the WSW Tag Team Tournament in May. The downfall for the former AXW Tag Team Champions is when their brother Mayhem walks down to the ring, his presence alone being enough of a distraction for Ethan to nail Marky with the Verdict Lariat, and Jack to finish off with the Gotch Style Piledriver to pick up the win for the Corman Guys.

We cut backstage where once again Justin Wyndham is trying to defend himself to TO'A.
Justin Wyndham: I'm just trying to help you. Open your eyes and see that this is not who you are. I know you better than anyone and this man that competed in a Death Match and tried to attack a man with a chair is not you.
TO'A: You know me better than anyone? Does that include myself? Because I know who I am better than anyone. No one knows what goes on up here (tapping his head) except for me. You're trying to help me? All you're doing is deterring me, and it ends. Next week, if you're man enough, fight me. One on one.
TO'A exits the room. Justin tries to plea before he leaves as this is not what he wants, but TO'A doesn't stop.

Trent's feud with Danny Hall now finds himself in a feud with the entire Alliance of Truth. Trent goes toe to toe with the 3x AXW Champion. Trent manages to get some good offense in, such as a Suicide Dive, Uranage Backbreaker, and Trent the Ninja (Shiranui). Duncan manages to get more offense in however, such as a Belly to Back Suplex, Double Powerbomb, Buzzsaw Kicks, Enter Gideon (Beautiful Disaster Kick), San Diego Driver (Full Nelson pickup released into a wheelbarrow facebuster). Duncan wins the match by planting Trent with The Culmination (Front slam pickup swung into a Rock Bottom), before making him tap to the Ace Of Spades (Crippler Crossface).
The scene opens in Luke Mathews office. He's pacing around with a cell phone plastered to his ear. Just then his door flies open and a seething and chest heaving Austin Graves marches in, with Ryan Starr in tow.
Luke Mathews: I'll call you back.
Luke ends his phone call and decides against making a fuss about the unannounced intrusion.
Luke Mathews: Gentlemen, what can I-
Austin Graves: YOU saw Winterslam! You KNOW we got screwed. WE WANT A REMATCH.
Luke Mathews: Look guys, I have other things-
Graves slams both fists down on the edge of Luke’s desk, even startling the CEO by Graves demeanor.
Austin Graves: You have NOTHING other to worry about right now than ME. I’ve played this game long enough Mathews. The ha-ha funny guy, let’s crack jokes about his weight. I went along with it. But I think you might be forgetting about the KILLER INSIDE. And unless we get a rematch…
Luke Mathews: You don’t need to threaten me. I don’t just give out rematches. You can earn it…
Graves fists clench and he might be moments away from doing something he regrets.
Luke Mathews: …or… you can get the Champions to agree to a rematch.
Ryan Starr: Well there’s no way they are going to do that Luke. They’re cowards, using the numbers game to their advantage-
Austin Graves: ALRIGHT. I accept those terms!
Graves turns on his heels and marches out of the room. Luke and Ryan watch him march away, then look back at each other.
Luke Mathews: If my desk is cracked, it’s coming out of his pay.
Ryan Starr: Yeah… I’ll be sure to pass along that message…
The scene ends with Luke checking out the integrity of his desk and Starr leaving to find Graves.

vs.
A hard hitting match. When not throwing fists, Clash hit a Code Breaker, Clothesline from hell, Body Slam, Swinging neckbreaker. On the other hand, Steve fleshed out moves such as The Icon-Plex, Superstar Elbow, The Iconic Slam, and Snapmare Driver. A slight distraction from Damien Steele allows Steve to win the match via Icon Bomb.

We cut backstage where we see the masked face of Deimos. His head is titled down, and doesn't say a word. There's a glow of some kind. Deimos holds up a picture of Bruiser Lazzou, as the camera now zooms out. Upon zooming all the way out, we see Deimos is surrounded by fire. He balls the picture of Lazzou up and tosses it into the fire. Deimos still doesn't utter a word, letting his actions speak louder than he could.

To say Zoey has been pissed off is an understatement. She immediately enters the ring and tackles Janet, throwing punches. Referee Jessie McCormick tries pulling her off, but to no avail. Zoey's refusal to let up or even acknowledge Jessie causes the referee to make this match short lived and disqualify Zoey, but she doesn't care. Janet finally gets free and gets the hell out of the ring, she'll fight another day.

We cut backstage to Max Kilburne.
Max Kilburne: My guest at this time is the AXW Champion, David Slayton!
David steps into frame.
Max Kilburne: David, Ethan Cutler sounded off on Twitter about getting one more match, what do you have to say about it?
David Slayton: Well let's look at the three matches he's had. The first one, which was non-title, he won. But, he only won because of the help of the Corman Cronies. The second match, a title match, I had him locked in the Firehawk Lock. He had nowhere to go and was on the verge of tapping out, and when Corman Crony Caitlin tried to help him, he was disqualified. And then one on one with no one to help him, I made him tap out. He's had two chances to take the title from me, and failed both of them. He doesn't deserve a third chance, hence why I finally get a break tonight.
Max Kilburne: A lot of people are gunning for your AXW Championship, including one of your best friends, Starla Gardevoir. Starla is a mere 6 days away from reaching day 90, which means if she walks out of the Main Event tonight still Xperience Champion, she's gonna be stepping to the front of the line.
David Slayton: I wouldn't be surprised if when I walk into AXW next week, the first people I see are Starla and a referee. But the fact of the matter is she has to win tonight first. Let's not count chickens before they hatch.

AXW Xperience Championship
Acer Stone's career has been in an upswing, co-winning the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship at Winterslam. He looks to dethrone Starla on this Alternative as he hits some big moves out of the gate such as a Spinning Neckbreaker, Jumping Tornado DDT, and Stalling Suplex. Starla comes back though with a Spinning Sidewalk Slam, Lifting DDT, and Dragon Suplex. The high flying starts to come out when Starla connects with a Suicide Dive. After a short brawl on the outside, Acer takes control and climbs to the apron, springboarding off the second rope catching Starla with an Imploding Hurricanrana! Acer quickly got Starla into the ring for a two count. Acer looked to win off his Shooting Star Elbow Drop but Starla kicked out. Starla gets back in control with a Corkscrew Neckbreaker, and a Split-Legged Corkscrew Moonsault. Starla plants Acer with a 343 Guilty Spark (Tornado DDT), which is always followed up with the R.R.O.D. [Red Ring of Death] (Swanton Bomb).
Did you think the match was over? So did everyone else. Starla is in complete shock when Acer kicks out. Acer gets very close to a win off a schoolboy, before hitting Starla with the Stone Cutter (Axe Kick). Acer looks to end it as he drives Starla to the mat with the Honorable Mention (Springboard Cutter)!
No, it's still not over as Starla kicked out of that. Acer just grips at his hair as he thought for sure that he was walking out as champ there. Acer looks like he's about to set up another Honorable Mention but is suddenly locked in It's Super Effective! (Black Widow Submission), as he's forced to tap out.
After the match, Starla and Acer shake hands, and even hug after their highly competitive contest. David Slayton joins Starla in the ring. They look at each other, smiling, as the show fades with them holding up their respective championships.
