Episode I
SINGLES MATCH
Corbin Mason vs. Martin Josephus
Corbin Mason definitely seemed to be more confident in the ring since his upset victory over Sean Foster, and he was looking to build on that, taking on Martin Josephus. In this match, Josephus really didn’t get out of the box, despite hitting some nice lucha libre moves lying flying headscissors and even a nice standing moonsault, but it was apparent that on this night the star of Corbin Mason was on the rise, as the young man would fire on all cylinders, hitting moves like a snap suplex, missile dropkick, and a series of clotheslines. Martin would try to battle back, but it wasn’t long before Corbin hit his Pit Stop Plunge on his opponent for the victory.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, CORBIN MASON!!
Post Match: Corbin Mason would celebrate his victory before exiting the ring, the fans cheering for him the whole way up the ramp as a dejected Martin would slam the mat in frustration.
SINGLES MATCH
Jamie Fuller vs. Jesse Laurent
While Jesse Laurent only got limited offense in, he had a good response from the smarks in his hometown crowd who know him by another name. Jamie would hit a number of his signature moves, such as a lungblower, cradle northern lights suplex, and would even look to put Jesse away with a rolling prawn hold. It was the Small Package Driver that kept Jesse down for the count.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, Jamie Fuller!
SINGLES MATCH
Damien Steele vs. Pyrostar
Damien Steele would enter to a chorus of boos, looking super confident going into his match with Pyrostar. Steele would take the mic and declare the match “A perfect waste of my time and talent” but he went on to say “Since my victory is a forgone conclusion, let’s get this over with”. Pyrostar would then emerge, getting a nice ovation, especially from the young fans in attendance. In the ring, Steele would mock Pyrostar, laughing at him, which would earn him a series of lightning fast kicks to start the match. Steele would try to stop things by tossing Pyro hard against the ropes, only for Pyrostar to handstand and bounce back with an elbow right to the face of Steele. Pyrostar would whip Steele hard into the corner and then connect with a dropkick. Steele would stagger out of the corner only for Pyrostar to use his agility to leap up and then off with an overcastle flipping neckbreaker for a two count. Pyrostar would clap, getting the crowd behind him firing off kicks to Steele only for Steele to duck one and start clobbering Pyrostar in the back with right hands. Steele was on his feet and began dissecting his opponent with a release Northern Lights suplex, followed by a double underhook suplex and a knee drop. Steele would grind his knee into the face of Pyrostar all while yelling “YOU’RE NOT WHAT WRESTLING MEANS, I AM!” Steele would continue the punishment with a tree of woe double foot stomp and a springboard knee strike. Pyrostar would try to counter, but Steele had Pyrostar up for an F-5 with a devilish grin on his face, but in the swing, Pyrostar would land behind Steele and actually drop his legs down, rolling back and catching Steele in a surprise victory roll pin, getting the 1,2,3 to the shock of Steele and the crowd who popped huge for this!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, PYROSTAR!!!
Post Match: Pyrostar would celebrate his victory with his young fans as Damien Steele would pitch a fit in the ring, kicking the bottom rope and telling Pyrostar that “it’s not over!”
