Episode XXXIII
Lily Luna: Welcome to The Alternative! Slight change in the format, but have no fear, you'll still get to hear our wonderful voices.
Chris Pierce: And of course, you're still gonna get some great action. She's Lily Luna, and I am Chris Pierce, and let's get right down to it!
Failure by Breaking Benjamin fades into play in the arena. The lights dim as a spotlight centers up on the stage. 17 seconds into the song, pyros go off on either side of the stage and Clifford Bradley bursts onto the stage.
Jen Brunelli: This opening contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 218 pounds, CLIFFORD BRADLEY!
Bradley makes his way down the ramp, high fiving fans on either side of the ramp before rolling under the bottom rope to enter the ring. In the ring, he goes to a corner and climbs to the middle rope and points to the crowd while nodding and smiling.
"Hear Me Now" plays throughout the arena and Malcolm M. Mitchell makes his way to the stage. He takes a moment to taunt, throwing shadow punches, then runs his hands through his hair and flicks the water off his hands, keeping his arms spread with his head up, soaking in the reaction from the crowd.
Jen Brunelli: And his opponent, from Riviera Beach, Florida, weighing in at 214 pounds, MALCOLM M. MITCHELL!
He walks down to the ring with confidence in every step. Malcolm enters the ring, climbs to the second turnbuckle, and does the same taunt he did on the stage.
The two start off looking for a test of strength, with Malcolm kneeing Clifford in the gut. Malcolm delivers a Swinging Neckbreaker, looking for a quick cover and only getting one. Malcolm follows up with a Fisherman Suplex, getting another one on the bridged pin. Malcolm runs to the ropes but is hit with a Spinning Wheel Kick from Clifford. Clifford grabs the head of Malcolm and plants him with a Running Bulldog. Malcolm gets up in the corner where Clifford comes in with a big corner clothesline. Clifford brings Malcolm out of the corner, lifting him onto his shoulder, and slams Malcolm down with a Powerslam. Clifford gets a two count, then runs the ropes. This time Malcolm catches him with a Jumping Calf Kick. Malcolm drives Clifford to the canvas with a Blue Thunder Bomb, another two count. Malcolm awaits Clifford to get to his feet, then looks for a Zigzag, but Clifford holds onto the ropes, causing Malcolm to fall on his back. Clifford connects with a T-Bone Suplex. Clifford hooks Malcolm's arm and looks to Cash Out (The Miz’s Skull Crushing Finale), but Malcolm slips free, and slides back through the legs of Clifford, tripping him in the process. Clifford hits the mat face first and starts to get back up, but is reacquainted with the mat via Faceplant (Fame Asser) from Malcolm.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, MALCOLM M. MITCHELL!
Lily Luna: A solid win for Malcolm to kick things off tonight.
Chris Pierce: And another had loss for Clifford Bradley. The guy has all the tools, but can't quite figure out how to use them.
Malcolm celebrates his win, before making his way to the back. In the ring, Clifford seems disappointed with himself.

Jen Brunelli: This next contest is an AXW Double Debut Match!
"Last Resort" starts playing throughout the arena, as Braydon Easton makes his way out onto the stage. He runs down the ramp, and stops to hold his head against the head of children who might be wearing his mask.
Jen Brunelli: Introducing first, from Cameron, North Carolina, weighing in at 195 pounds, BRAYDON "PAYNE" EASTON!
He slides into the ring, where he climbs the middle turnbuckle. He holds his arms in the shape of an O, then back flips off.
“Say Hello” blares over the PA system as Anthony Royal slowly emerges through the curtain. He smirks and throws his arms above his head before strutting down the ramp. He mostly ignores the crowd, only occasionally taking the time to mock and berate them.
Jen Brunelli: And his opponent, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 227 pounds, ANTHONY ROYAL!
As he approaches the ring, he hops onto the ring apron, looking back at the crowd, smirking and shaking his head in disgust before entering the ring. He then climbs to the nearest turnbuckle and stares out into the crowd before hopping down and waiting for the match to begin.
Braydon has the upperhand to start as he delivers numerous kicks to the midsection of Anthony. Braydon ducks a clothesline then takes Anthony down with a Dragon Suplex. Braydon grabs Anthony's head and delivers an Eastwood Drop (Salida del so into back breaker), with Anthony rolling out of the ring clutching at his back. Braydon Suicide dives out of the ring, only for Anthony to side step. Anthony grabs Braydon and sends him into the ring steps. Anthony rolls Braydon in the ring and nails him with a European Uppercut. Braydon staggers back to the ropes and Anthony takes advantage, choking Braydon with the top rope. Referee Shane Gates has to pull Anthony off, causing Anthony to argue with him. Shane threatens disqualification and says Anthony is lucky he hasn't disqualified him yet. This distraction is enough for Braydon to take control with a springboard stunner. Brayden delivers a German suplex, then heads to the top rope, however Anthony hits the rope, causing Braydon to lose his balance and fall back into the ring. Anthony then plants Braydon with the Royal Mutilation (Shelton Benjamin’s “Pay Dirt”).
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, ANTHONY ROYAL!
Lily Luna: A solid match up between the two debuting wrestlers, but Anthony Royal comes out on top with a few underhanded tactics.
Chris Pierce: And if he continues on with those tactics, he could climb to the very top of AXW, like he has in previous companies.
Anthony soaks in the boos from the fans. He exits the ring, continuing to not really care about the crowd's reaction.

Jen Brunelli: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Alternative Main Event!
As the tune of 'No One's Gonna Find Her In The Dark', a mashup between Panic! At The Disco and Fall Out Boy, starts to play, the lights go dim. The colors of pink and purple with green lazers start to shine through the area as Velvet comes out from behind the curtain. She points out to the fans while the music continues playing. Velvet walks down the ramp giving the 'rocker' sign and gives high-fives to the fans.
Jen Brunelli: Introducing first, from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 125 pounds, VELVET VALENTINE!
She walks up the steps and heads to the ropes. She blows a little kiss and straddles the ropes. Velvet glances into the camera and wiggles while pointing to the camera. As she gets into the ring, the chorus of her music begins to play. As the chorus is playing, Velvet is finally in the ring. She hops up onto the top turnbuckle and gives the 'rocker' sign once again, then yells at the fans to get them psyched up. She then jumps down from the turnbuckle and does a few arm stretches before the match starts.
The opening to "Ready to Go" by Panic! at the Disco takes over the sound system as colorful lights swirl and pan across the arena. Upon the whole band entering the song, out struts a blonde haired woman. She stops right before the ramp, places a hand on her hip, and blows a kiss into the camera. She makes her way down the ramp.
Jen Brunelli: And her opponent, from Riviera Beach, Florida, weighing in at 127 pounds, MEGAN MITCHELL!
Megan high fives some of the ring side fans and walks around to the camera side ring apron. She climbs onto the apron and again blows a kiss to the camera. She enters the ring and climbs onto a second turnbuckle on the opposite side of the ring. She whips her hair back and runs her hands through her hair, before outstretching her arms. She steps off the turnbuckle and prepares to face her opponent.
The two look as if they're about to lock up when Velvet hits a spinning back kick to Megan. Velvet then delivers a Jawbreaker. Megan falls to the mat, holding her jaw, where Velvet then delivers a Rolling neck snap. Velvet follows up with a Snapmare, then hits a dropkick to the face of Megan, Megan kicking out at two. Velvet lifts Megan up for a suplex, but Megan lands behind her and takes Velvet down with a neckbreaker. Megan, now in control, delivers a Uranage Backbreaker. Megan runs off the ropes where she then connects with a Shining Enzuigiri. Megan gets a two count then looks for a Jumping Superkick, but Velvet ducks it. Velvet takes Megan off her feet with a Swinging side slam backbreaker. Velvet follows up with a Standing moonsault. Velvet ascends to the top turnbuckles and looks for a Diving crossbody, however Megan moves out of the way and Velvet crashes to the mat. Megan delivers a Chop Block to Velvet, then stomps away at her leg. Megan executes a Leg DDT, then tries to lock in the Four Leaf Clover (Corey Graves' Lucky 13), but Velvet manages to get to the ropes before Megan can lock it in. Megan brings Velvet to her feet, but Velvet kicks Megan in the gut and plants her with the V squared (Spike DDT)! Velvet wastes no more time as she executes the Straightjacket Feeling (Straight jacket sitout rear mat slam), which Megan cannot kick out of.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, VELVET VALENTINE!
Lily Luna: Megan Mitchell took it to Velvet Valentine, but in the end Velvet is victorious.
Chris Pierce: Megan's brother won earlier, so at least there is one win to the Mitchell name this week.
Matt Baker raises Velvet's hand. Velvet helps Megan to her feet, the two shaking hands. Magan exits the ring as Velvet continues to celebrate.
Lily Luna: That's all for this edition of The Alternative, make sure to tune into AXW on ION television in just a few moments!
