Cheyenne, Wyoming
Episode XXXVIII
Pyro blasts from the stage and Alternatron, before the cameras pan across the crowd.
Mike Vincent: We are coming to you from the capital of Wyoming, this is AXW! The landscape is always changing in AXW, and last week was no different.
Cole Haywood: Steve Corman is finally our AXW Champion, leaving David Slayton tied with the shortest title reign in history, however he has the shortest reign while a member of the AXW roster.
Mike Vincent: Tied of course with Luke Mathews, who officially held the title for a week when it was part of EWS Fury. Tonight, David Slayton gets his rematch, and we could potentially have three people tied with shortest reign after tonight.
Cole Haywood: That's the Main Event, right now we're starting with some tag team action.
"Cut the Cord" starts as Micheal walks out and drops down to one knee and holds up his arms then Bray walks out in his hat and coat and puts his hands on Mike's shoulders and slaps them, then Micheal stands and they both walk down
Salvatore Pellegrino: This opening tag team contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from Hoboken, New Jersey, at a combined weight of 471 pounds, Michael Veaga and "The Krazy Karny" Bray Coleman, BEAUTY AND THE JEKYLL!
then Bray crouches down to remove his hat then his coat and he runs into the ring and lays on the mat staring at his opponent(s) while Micheal climbs up to the apron and climbs to the second rope and does a warrior shout while pounding his chest, then he jumps down to the ring.
Mayhem enters the arena with a crazy look in his eyes. He looks back towards the curtain where Max Maximus reluctantly walks out onto the stage. Mayhem starts to walk down the ramp, and looks back to see Max still standing on the stage. Mayhem grabs Max's arm and walks him down to ringside, all with a sadistic smile on his face.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And their opponents, from Cross City, Florida, at a combined weight of 488 pounds, "Mammoth" Max Maximus and "The Loose Cannon" Mayhem, CROSS CITY STALLIONS!
The match begins with Max Maximus and Bray Coleman squaring off, with Coleman driving Max into a neutral corner and delivering some strikes. Coleman executes a belly-to-belly and tags in Veaga, who drops an elbow and goes for a pin – one count. Veaga pulls Max to his feet, whips him into the ropes and knocks him down with a shoulder block. Pin – one count. Veaga tags in Bray, and the two double suplex Max. Bray hits a running senton and then heads to the top rope, trying for the Karnival Kross, but no one is home, as Max darts out of the way. He turns towards his corner and is seemingly looking for a tag when Mayhem lets out a primal scream, terrifying Max and sending him staggering backwards! Bray, keen enough to see the opportunity, rolls him up, but Max manages to kick out at 2! Coleman is first to his feet and surprises Max with a superkick! The tag to Veaga and the two go for the Hoboken Haunt (Flapjack by Veaga into a cutter by Bray) but a big flying knee strike is delivered to Veaga from Mayhem just before he can grab Max! Bray attacks Mayhem, but Mayhem shoves him off and then clotheslines him to the outside of the ring! Max and Mayhem are left in the ring. Mayhem turns towards Max, an evil grin on his face, and Max looks petrified. Mayhem starts towards him and Max stumbles backwards, tripping and falling into their corner. Mayhem laughs, steps onto the apron, and just when he’s about to tag Max, Bray yanks his feet out from under him! Max, distracted, turns his attention away from Veaga, and Veaga makes him pay, whipping him around and nailing him with the Freak-Out (Muscle Buster)! The pin comes in: 1, 2, 3!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here are your winners, BEAUTY AND THE JEKYLL!
Mike Vincent: Mayhem, now a member of Cross City Stallions, perhaps led the team to lose with his antics towards his brother.
Cole Haywood: He doesn't care about winning or losing, Mike. What he cares about is tormenting his brothers, specifically Max who he knows is petrified of him.
Michael and Bray celebrate on their way out of the arena. Mayhem pulls his trusty shovel from underneath the ring and enters the ring. He kneels down next to Max. When Max comes to, he sees Mayhem and the shovel and freaks out. He actually has some trouble just trying to get out of the ring, before running to the back. Mayhem is laughing hysterically as we fade backstage.

We're in a dimly lit part of the arena, where Renee Peltier is walking through. She's looking around, and bumps into a few things that she can't see. She eventually finds Deimos.
Renee Peltier: Excuse me, Deimos? I was wondering if I could get a few words in response to Damien Steele's message last week.
Deimos looks intensely at Renee, then bursts out laughing.
Deimos: Thanks for reminding me about that. I'll give credit where credit is due, Damien Steele is a great comedian. See, there's a problem with Damien's attack on me at Horizon. Do you know what that is, Renee?
Renee Peltier: Uh--
Deimos: It's okay, I'll answer for you. The problem is... I'm here. I'm still standing. I'm still alive and well. And that's not going to bode well for Damien. Damien wants to make these analogies, how about this one: Damien is flying to close to the light, and he's about to get zapped like the annoying little bug he is. His guts and entrails will be sprawled out all over, and he'll be left as an unidentifiable carcass.
This vivid imagery is getting into Renee's head, who gags at the thought. She looks as if she might ask another question, but instead decides it's best to walk away.

The opening chords of "The Right Direction" by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus rolls throughout the arena. There’s a fountain of pyro at the three second mark as the song hits. Three spotlights shine and revolve around as if searching for someone, and the fans are on their feet, cheering in anticipation for the hero they know is coming. At the seven second mark, the hooded figure steps from behind the curtain and through the pyro looking down. The song builds to the fourteen second mark as he throws his hood back and arms out, fired up, as there’s a loud pop of orange and white pyro from the stage. Gabe Shelley responds to the cheers of the fans by pounding his chest and pointing out to them. The fans are positively crazy about Gabe. He begins to make his way to the ring and is sure to tap hands of fans on the ramp.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from Columbus, Ohio, weighing in at 220 pounds, here is "the reVolution" GABE SHELLEY!
I will never understand the path you chose
Chemical parasitic waste inside your bowels
So wrap it up while you still can
While you got the offer in
I just can't believe
That you'd throw it all away
Now you falsely return today
As you're falling on your face
Shelley makes his way up the steel steps and jumps to the second turnbuckle and looks around the arena with a smile on his face. He jumps into the ring as his hood comes back up, landing on his feet. He goes to the middle of the ropes ropes facing camera side and jumps to the second one. He flips the hood back once again and makes finger guns at the camera and fires with a wink.
Arena goes dark and alive from pod plays and clash walks out to a spotlight just on him. Blue rEd and white lights start blaring and he walks down to the ring in his tights and Legend Jacket. Fans start going crazy and clash starts high fiving the all the the fan.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, from Hollywood, California, weighing in at 250 pounds, DAVID CLASH!
Clash takes pictures with the fans and then gets in the ring via the stairs.Clash tosses his jacket over to the time keeper and paoses on the top turnbuckle.
The two lock up with the larger David backing Gabe to the corner. Gabe is struck with several chops, before he manages to duck one and gets David cornered. Gabe hits David with several strikes of his own before having to back away. Gabe runs the ropes and is suddenly acquainted to the mat with a power slam. David stays in control taking Gabe down with several clotheslines. David lifts Gabe up and slams him down with a suplex. David gets a two count on the cover. David brings Gabe to his feet and whips him to the ropes, where Gabe springs off the second rope and connects with a Springboard Tornado DDT. Gabe follows up with an Exploder Suplex. Gabe connects with Fallout (Double Underhook Front Lungblower into Pin), getting a two count on the pin. As David gets back to his feet Gabe takes him right back down with a Jersey Cutter (Twist of Fate). Gabe goes out to the apron, where he springs into the ring for I'm a Bird, Mother F**ker! (Springboard Leg Drop From Apron), but David catches him and slams him down with a hard spinebuster. David hoists Gabe onto his shoulders and looks to plant him with Legend Maker (f5), but Gabe counters with a DDT. Gabe looks to lift David onto his shoulders, but David elbows Gabe in the head before he can do so. David takes Gabe down with a Swinging neckbreaker. David sends Gabe to the corner and charges in for a big boot, but Gabe steps out of the way. Gabe hangs David's other leg on the top rope and sets him in the tree of woe, before running in with the Hesitation Dropkick. Gabe then lifts David up and plants him with The reVolt (Cradle Shock).
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, GABE SHELLEY!
Mike Vincent: David Clash can't seem to get momentum back on his side, as Gabe Shelley continues to impress.
Cole Haywood: Eh, he's not that impressive. Let's see Gabe wrestle someone who isn't a chump.
Referee Brian Sullivan raises the hand of Gabe, who celebrates his win, before we head to commercial.

We're in the interview area, where Brad Adams is standing by with the AXW Tag Team Champions, War Horse.
Brad Adams: Gentlemen, you obviously have some interest in the Number One Contender's Match coming up later tonight. Between the Steve Corman Guys and Justin Wyndham and TO'A, which team would you rather face?
Austin Graves: Whichever team wants to get their ass kicked up and down the entire arena. Whichever team wants to be left in a pool of their own blood. Which--
Ryan holds his hand up, interjecting himself.
Ryan Starr: Whichever team wants to be disappointed after we out-wrestle them and retain our tag team titles. It doesn't matter to us, because neither team will beat us. Right?
He looks to Austin.
Austin Graves: Right. I was gonna get there if you didn't cut me off.
Ryan Starr: Sometimes it's better to keep things short and sweet and to get right to the point. Let's get out of here, big guy.
War Horse walk away.
Brad Adams: I had other questions....
We fade back to ringside.
-----
Salvatore Pellegrino: Ladies and gentlemen, this next contest is a Fall Count Anywhere Match scheduled for one fall!
"Snake Charmer" hits as a strobe light show begins. A little bit of smoke pours over the stage. A little after 30 seconds, when the snare roll comes in, is when Caitlin Shay emerges from the back. She stops on the stage, and looks around the crowd, sneering, unhappy about having to be in Cheyenne.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Introducing first, from Pinecrest, Florida, weighing 126 pounds, CAITLIN SHAY!
She makes her way down to the ring, where she climbs onto the apron. She takes a moment to talk down to the crowd before entering the ring. She walks to the opposite ropes, with her arms spread, and a smile on her face as if to say, "I'm better than you." The music fades out as we await for the match to start.
"Invincible" by Amaranthe hits, the fast pounding drums blaring loudly from the speakers as the lights dim completely. They come back to Android 18 standing at the entrance ramp, head down, the words 'The code awakens me' flash along the Alternatron behind her as she opens her eyes and brings her head up slowly. She walks stoically down the ramp, a smirk spreading over her face as she goes. She stops in the middle of the ramp, raising her hands to actually sign the words 'I am Invincible.'
Salvatore Pellegrino: And her opponent, from Cork, Ireland, weighing 135 pounds, ANDROID 18!
Before continuing on and leaping straight up onto the ring post, she signs ''I am Invincible' one more time, entering the ring and awaiting the match to start.
Being a falls count anywhere match, Caitlin, infuriating fans, and obviously her opponent, goes to step forward in an intense stare, then smirks and slaps Android 18 across the face hard, yelling “I’m done with you! I’m sick of your shit!” as Android then tackles her opponent to the mat, delivering thunderous rights and lefts, Caitlin managing to cover up and then kick her adversary back before sliding under the ropes to the outside, then tried escaping, but Android was hot on her trail as Caitlin turns quick and hits a drop toe hold into the ring steps as Android crashes down hard. Caitlin points to her head with a smirk, grabbing her opponent and hitting a swinging neckbreaker on the outside, before yelling to the ref as Caitlin goes for a cover and gets a two count.
Caitlin goes to bring Android to her feet but is backed up hard into the barricade, then getting a shoulder thrust, as Android 18 comes alive with shin strikes, then chops as Caitlin cries out in agony, before actually getting hip tossed into the remaining steel steps that weren’t knocked over from before! Caitlin’s eyes are glassy as she looks up the crowd popping for this move from Android! She goes for a cover as Caitlin lies on the steel steps, but only gets a two count.
Android brings Caitlin off the steps, delivering more chops, then goes for a suplex onto the ramp, but Caitlin blocks, then delivers a knee, then some forearm shots, backing Android up a bit, who then charges for a clothesline but is caught in a beautiful snap powerslam as she hits the ground with a thud. Caitlin screams for the ref and goes for a cover, getting only a two count. Shay wastes no time, hooking in a fisherman’s suplex, adding a pinning bridge on the outside, but again, Android manages to get out of the pin before the count of 3. Caitlin begins getting a bit frustrated. She shoos some fans out of the way before steadying herself on the barricade. Android stirs as Caitlin dives off with a crossbody only to be caught and nailed with a backbreaker, before being tossed onto the ramp like a rag doll!
Android backs up a bit, motioning for Shay to get to her feet, as the camera gets a nice angle for Caitlin turning and running right into a striking spear from Android 18! Android goes for the cover, getting the 1-2-3 and the victory!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, ANDROID 18!
Mike Vincent: Android 18 getting some revenge after her Horizon loss to Caitlin Shay.
Cole Haywood: That was only two! Caitlin clearly kicked out! Gus Ramos is a crooked referee!
Mike Vincent: There must be something wrong with your glasses, Cole, it was a bona fide three count.
Post match, Android sneers and looks down at Caitlin, who is holding her ribs, before stepping over her and raising her arms in victory to a thunderous ovation!

We're backstage, where Trent Mathews is walking down a hallway, looking around, mumbling "Where is she?" He suddenly stops, when he sees someone. The camera zooms out to see Luke Mathews.
Luke Mathews: You've done well for yourself as of late, haven't you? AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, Trent Mathews!
Trent Mathews: Is there anything in particular you want?
Luke Mathews: I'm a little surprised words came out of your mouth and not that girl of yours you've been hanging out with. Anyway, unlike you, I'm not gonna give you any trouble or put you through hell. I'm just here to tell you that next week, you're defending the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship against Danny Hall.
Trent Mathews: Alright. Is that it?
Luke Mathews: I'm glad you asked because that isn't it. Sam De Santa will be banned from ringside. In fact, I've given her the whole night off. Well, I gave her two weeks off, which is why she's not here tonight so I could talk to you directly.
Trent seems irritated by this news.
Trent Mathews: I was looking all over for her... anyway, I'll prove you wrong. I can beat Danny Hall with one arm tie--
Luke raises his eyebrows.
Trent Mathews: ...I can beat Danny Hall. I'm not walking into that trap. Did you at least tell Sam about the match, and why she has the night off?
Luke Mathews: You know, that seems to have slipped my mind when I told her. Good luck next week.
Luke walks off, leaving a slightly disgruntled Trent behind.
UPCOMING MAJOR BWF NETWORK EVENTS
TUESDAY, JUNE 28
SATURDAY, JULY 2
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next tag team contest is scheduled for one fall, and is to determine the Number One Contenders for the AXW Tag Team Championships!
"The Instinct" hits and Ethan Cutler steps out from the back, gripping the elbow pad for his right arm in hand. He takes a good look at the crowd before raising his right arm high to show off his "Off With Their Head" tattoo on his outer forearm and high-arced pyro fountains ignite on either side of the ramp.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Introducing first, representing the Steve Corman Guys, from Rapid City, South Dakota, weighing in at 232 pounds, "Mr. Clothesline" ETHAN CUTLER!
He lowers his arm and slides the elbow pad on, then proceeds to walk drown the ramp under the archway of pyro. Upon reach the ring he jumps from the ring floor onto the apron, then steps through the ropes. After bouncing off the ropes a few times, he settles down and waits at once side for the match to begin.
"Too Drunk to Fuck" by the Dead Kennedys kicks in as a smirking Jack Adams comes jogging out from the back. He looks at the crowd, laughing to himself as he walks to the ring, all the while Adams is goading the fans and prevoking them, daring them to punch him, before feigning punching them himself. Generally, just being a bully.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his partner, representing the Steve Corman Guys, from Fort Payne, Alabama, weighing in at 230 pounds, he is the AXW Xperience Champion and "The Last Real Man" JACK ADAMS!
Adams slides into the ring and being the dick he is, just yells to the hard camera "LAST REAL MAN ALIVE!"
The opening beat of "ultranumb" by Blue Stahli as the crowd goes in a frenzy, hyped to see the arrival of "The World Warrior" The cameras focused on the countdown clock shown in the titantron while we hear a voice say, "Ultranumb"
"THREE. THREe, THRee, THree,Three
"TWO, TWO., two two
ONE"
"YOU WANT IT ALL RIGHT NOW"
The lights starts to flicker before coming back to normal as Justin Wyndham comes out with a smile on his face. He bends down on both knees and looks at his imaginary "watch" before getting up and does a cut throat sign.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And their opponents, first, from Cloverleaf, Texas, weighing in at 210 pounds, "The World Warrior" JUSTIN WYNDHAM!
He then gets up before running down to the ring in full speed. Once he enters the ring, he bangs his head to the nearest turnbuckle, hyping himself up before looking back at the crowd with a sick smile. He then climbs at the turnbuckle and does the cuthroat sign before getting off and waiting for his match to start
"Second Sucks" by A Day to Remember plays and out walks Toa with the towel, drenched in blood, wrapped around his neck. He is staring down on the ground and listening to the boos and cheers coming from the fans.
"FIGHT"
Once he hears the opening line, he starts walking down the ramp, still not showing his face.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his partner, from the Isle of Samoa, weighing in at 280 pounds, he is "The Samoan Executioner" TO'A!
When he walks up the steel steps and enters the ring, he throws the towel on the ground and does a battle cry.
TO’A and Cutler are in the ring. They tie up and Cutler grabs the advantage with a cheap eye poke! The ref tries to separate the two, but Cutler doesn’t let him, and promptly takes TO’A down with a snap armdrag. Another, and a powerslam! Pinfall, but only a one count. Cutler drags TO’A to his corner, tagging in Jack. Abdominal stretch from Cutler and a clean elbow strike to the ribs. Jack whips TO’A ribs-first into the turnbuckle and delivers knees. He messes up, allowing TO’A to make it to his feet on his own, and TO'A nails a clothesline to counter an attempted running knee strike! TO'A gets in a Samoan drop and makes a tag. Wyndham takes Jack down with a dragon screw, followed by an armbar, but Jack easily gets out of that. Justin stays on the offensive, taking Jack right back down with a double legged takedown! This time, he puts Jack in a sleeper hold, but Jack is able to make it to his feet and slams Wyndham into the turnbuckle! He seizes the moment and tags in Cutler, but Cutler can’t get any offense in as Justin delivers a roundhouse kick! He tags in TO’A, who hits a Samoan Elbow, and goes for the Island Driver, but Cutler, upon being lifted, is able to counter with a headscissors takedown! Cutler goes for a Crack Shot (Marcus Cor Von’s Pounce), but TO’A sees it coming, side steps it, and whirls Cutler around, hitting him with FOR SAMOA! (Samoan Spike)! The pin comes in and before Adams can break it up, Justin dives on him to stop the attempt! The three count comes in!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here are your winners, TO'A and JUSTIN WYNDHAM!
Mike Vincent: And just like that, Wyndham & TO'A will meet War Horse for the Tag Team Championships.
Cole Haywood: That's gonna be a match of the ages, and I'm now being told that that match will take place on July 2nd in Los Angeles at RISE!
Justin celebrates with TO'A as Jack pounds the mat in frustration. Jack looks like he might go for a cheap shot, but the opposing tandem turn towards him and he instead pulls Cutler out of the ring and the two exit the arena.
-----
We open on a shot of a pair of female legs, clad in black boots, fishnet covering hot pink trunks and the back of a gray hoodie, a matching hot pink heart emblazoned on the back, as the figure turns, the AXW Women’s Championship around her waist, hood over her head, Hailey Harris. A coy smile is on her face.
Hailey Harris: “People are always quick to judge you when you do anything out of what they feel is the norm for you. Most of all, people are always quick to judge you if you are successful, and when I took this championship back, after clawing, scraping, nearly giving up hope that it would ever come to me again, the one thing people focus on is the fact I didn’t shake Olya’s hand the last time we were in the ring together.”
Harris looks at her championship, then at the camera.
Hailey Harris: “Like I said, this place needs to lighten up, and truly, get off my back. People grow up, people change, people..evolve. You have to in this business to stay ahead, and just because I’m not the girl next door doesn’t mean I don’t stand for something. You’re witnessing the evolution of Hailey Harris into the single greatest women’s wrestler this company has EVER had. I’m stronger than you think, and I’m going to dance all the way to AXW Hall Of Fame. As long as I have this, I’m going to dance all night.”
Harris walks off, the crowd still unsure what to make of what the champion said.

Salvatore Pellegrino: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Main Event! This contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the AXW Championship!
PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT!
The lights in the arena all cut to black and the Tron comes to life, pulsating with a green light as a quiet beat gets louder with every flash. It gets faster and faster, and louder with each pulse, until the pulsating light explodes into the words "Blazenwing Rises" and “The Phoenix” by Fall Out Boy blares across the arena sound system.
You are a brick tied to me that's dragging me down
Strike a match and I'll burn you to the ground
We are the jack-o-lanterns in July
Setting fire to the sky
He-here comes this rising tide
So come on
PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT!
The stage fills with smoke and the crowd rises to their feet, cheering loudly, as the smoke clears on the stage and a man in a dark green trenchcoat stands, head down, facing the Tron. He raises his hands and snaps his fingers, causing four loud bursts of pyro to ignite, two on each side of him, before spinning around Y2J style to reveal David Slayton!
Cross walks and crossed hearts and hope-to-dies
Silver clouds with grey linings
So we can take the world back from the heart-attacked
One maniac at a time we will take it back
You know time crawls on when you're waiting for the song to start
So dance alone to the beat of your heart
His sunglasses shining with the glare from the arena lights, David looks to the left, then to the right, nodding towards the crowd before walking down the ramp. After stopping to slap hands with a few fans, David moves towards the ring steps and hops up and down a few times in front of them before quickly racing up the steps to the apron side facing the stage. He stops and pulls his sunglasses off, then tosses them behind his head into the crowd before leaning down and stepping through the ropes to enter the ring.
Hey young blood
Doesn't it feel like our time is running out?
I'm gonna change you like a remix
Then I'll raise you like a phoenix
You're wearing our vintage misery
No, I think it looked a little better on me
I'm gonna change you like a remix
Then I'll raise you like a phoenix
David walks across the ring and leaps up onto the second rope in the corner nearest the timekeeper, then pulls off his green trenchcoat and tosses it towards the timekeeper. David smirks and points to the fans, then slaps his chest a few times and points up towards the sky, closing his eyes and saying a short prayer. David leaps down from the corner and immediately turns to sit down in the same corner, ala Raven. David then rests his head on the second turnbuckle pad as his theme fades and the crowd continues cheering.
begins to play. The crowd reacts with overall boos and jeers, but there is the small population of fans, for either nostalgia or just plain assholes, that cheer and do the hero worship wave, wearing Icon Merch.
Big Stevie Cool walks out dressed in his classic BSC ring attire, black shiny side lace up pants and a black wrestling tank with "BSC" on the front. As well as a black elbow pad on his right elbow with "ICON" written in gold across it. He stops to look around the arena and the boos being thrown in his direction. Corman makes it very clear to the fans that “all of this” is because of Him. He smiles his cocky smile, then double thumb points to himself, taps his right index finger on his temple and slowly pans his left hand, index finger extended, around the arena; indicating that he’s smarter than each and every one of them, then Corman slowly raises his arms over his head, making the trademark Highrollers hand gesture (basically the wolfpack, while moving his thumbs around in the international sign for MONEY). He makes his way to the ring, as the A-Hole High Rollers fans cheer and do the "Icon" worship wave as Corman nods, points, and smiles at the camera. He climbs the stairs, planting each foot, and walks across the apron. He stops and Matt Baker holds open the ropes as Corman enters the ring. Corman smirks and again repeats the High Rollers hand gesture by the ropes.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Introducing first, the challenger, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, weighing in at 245 pounds, he is "The New Hotness" DAVID SLAYTON!
David remains seated in the corner.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, from Hamilton, Ontario, weighing in at 275 pounds, he is the defending AXW Champion, "The Icon" STEVE CORMAN!
Steve uses both hands to raise his newly won championship into the air, soaking in the mostly jeers from the crowd, and quite frankly not giving a damn about their reaction.
The two aren't really interested in having a wrestling match at this time, as they begin with a straight up fist fight. They both get some good shots in, with a hard right from Steve causing David to stagger back to the ropes, with Steve clotheslining him over. Steve goes out and continues his attack on David. He throws David into anything that will cause damage: the barricade, apron, stairs, ring post. At one point Steve actually rolls in and out of the ring to restart the count. Steve grabs David by his hair and walks him back to the stairs. David throws a hard punch to Steve's gut, then slams Steve's head off the stairs. David rolls Steve into the ring and takes him down with a series of Short-Arm Clotheslines. David executes a Double Underhook Backbreaker and gets a two count. David traps Steve in a surprise Sleeper Hold, but Steve manages to back to the corner, and delivers some Back Elbows to the trapped David. Steve goes across the ring before barreling back in, but the cornered David gets his boot up and Steve runs right into it. David pulls himself to the second turnbuckle, but another hard fist from Steve causes him to hit the apron before falling back to the floor. Steve again goes out after him. Steve looks to throw him to the corner barricade but David reverses it at it's Steve who hits the barricade. David takes a second to recollect himself, which is when the match ends in disqualification as for whatever reason, a camera man strikes David with his camera.
Mike Vincent: What's going on here? Wai-- wait a minute, that's--
Cole Haywood: Duncan Aries!
Mike Vincent: And Jonathan Fhenix! He's choking Steve Corman with some cable!
The Alliance of Truth have indeed disguised themselves as ringside technicians and are attacking Slayton and Corman. Duncan hops the barricade as that's the closest place to grab a couple of chairs. He hands one to Fhenix and the two go to town on the defenseless Corman and Slayton. The Steve Corman Guys try to come to the aid of Corman, but when Ethan Cutler gets a chair slammed to his head, Damien Steele and Jack Adams try to rethink some strategy. They don't really get a chance to as Aries and Fhenix approach them, and Jack tries to swing his Xperience Championship at them but is struck in the gut by a chair from Fhenix, and then across the back. Meanwhile, Damien Steele is quickly backing up the ramp. AoT go back to Corman and Slayton and stomp them a few times, then they get them into the ring. Fhenix holds Corman, who throws some kicks at Aries, but Aries avoids them. Aries slams the chair on the head of Corman, who drops to the mat. They look to do the same to Slayton, when Gabe Shelley storms to the ring and hits Duncan in the back with a chair of his own. Fhenix drops Slayton and gets a chair to the gut. Gabe kneels down to check on his friends, meanwhile, the remaining Corman Guys come to and yank Steve from the ring, bringing him to the back. The two BWF Hall of Famers get to their feet, only to be taken back down with chair shots from the Alliance of Truth. Referees have finally rushed to the ring, and Aries and Fhenix exit the ring, not because of the referees, but because they know the damage is done.
