Grand Junction, Colorado
Episode XXXV
After the opening video package, cameras pan across the crowd, showing the excited fans in attendance.
Lily Luna: This is The Alternative! I'm Lily Luna joined by Chris Pierce, we're gonna get the action started right away!
“Say Hello” blares over the PA system as Anthony Royal slowly emerges through the curtain. He smirks and throws his arms above his head before strutting down the ramp. He mostly ignores the crowd, only occasionally taking the time to mock and berate them.
Jen Brunelli: This opening contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 227 pounds, ANTHONY ROYAL!
As he approaches the ring, he hops onto the ring apron, looking back at the crowd, smirking and shaking his head in disgust before entering the ring. He then climbs to the nearest turnbuckle and stares out into the crowd before hopping down and waiting for the match to begin.
"Smells Like Teen Spirit" plays and when the whole band enters, Jesus Lorenzo makes his way out from the back.
Jen Brunelli: And his opponent, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 229 pounds, JESUS LORENZO!
He walks a brisk pace to the ring, slides in and climbs the turnbuckle, using his left hand to smack his elbow, referencing his WWJD finisher.
The two lock up. Anthony gets Jesus in a side headlock but Jesus takes him to the mat with a back suplex. Upon getting back up Jesus hits a simple but effective Palm Strike, then plants Anthony to the mat with a Uranage. Jesus tries going for a suplex, but Anthony prevents himself from being lifted and instead delivers a suplex to Jesus. Anthony follows up with a Belly to Belly Suplex, and a German Suplex, then uses the rope to choke Jesus. Anthony sends Jesus to the ropes before executing a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker. Anthony ascends to the top turnbuckle where he dives off with a beautiful Moonsault. Despite how good looking the moonsault was, it connected to only canvas. Jesus sends Anthony to the ropes and picks him up for a Flapjack. Jesus lifts Anthony onto the ropes, delivering a Rope Assisted Swinging Neckbreaker. Jesus places his hand on Anthony's head, yells "Praise Jesus!" before delivering Praise Jesus (Hand on Forehead + Snap STO). Jesus is winding his arm up, and looks for WWJD (Rolling Elbow) which Anthony ducks. Anthony quickly takes Jesus to the mat with Royal Mutilation (Shelton Benjamin’s “Pay Dirt”).
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, ANTHONY ROYAL!
Lily Luna: Another impressive win for Anthony Royal tonight.
Chris Pierce: Which is not surprising since Anthony has been at this for almost nine years and has held titles everywhere he's been.
Lily Luna: Well, Jesus has held titles everywhere he's been too, although he's been in only two places.
Anthony's arm is raised in victory by Jessie McCormick. He looks down at the fallen Jesus and says, "So is that what Jesus would do?"

The opening to "Ready to Go" by Panic! at the Disco takes over the sound system as colorful lights swirl and pan across the arena. Upon the whole band entering the song, out struts a blonde haired woman. She stops right before the ramp, places a hand on her hip, and blows a kiss into the camera. She makes her way down the ramp.
Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, from Riviera Beach, Florida, weighing in at 127 pounds, MEGAN MITCHELL!
Megan high fives some of the ring side fans and walks around to the camera side ring apron. She climbs onto the apron and again blows a kiss to the camera. She enters the ring and climbs onto a second turnbuckle on the opposite side of the ring. She whips her hair back and runs her hands through her hair, before outstretching her arms. She steps off the turnbuckle and prepares to face her opponent.
"Snake Charmer" hits as a strobe light show begins. A little bit of smoke pours over the stage. A little after 30 seconds, when the snare roll comes in, is when Caitlin Shay emerges from the back. She stops on the stage, and looks around the crowd, sneering, unhappy about having to be in Grand Junction.
Jen Brunelli: And her opponent, from Pinecrest, Florida, weighing in at 126 pounds, CAITLIN SHAY!
She makes her way down to the ring, where she climbs onto the apron. She takes a moment to talk down to the crowd before entering the ring. She walks to the opposite ropes, with her arms spread, and a smile on her face as if to say, "I'm better than you." The music fades out as we await for the match to start.
The two are about to lock up when suddenly Caitlin goes for a school boy, trying to get the quick win. Caitlin delivers a Fisherman Suplex, and a Pendulum Backbreaker. Caitlin sends Megan to the corner before delivering a Running Forearm Smash. Suddenly Megan takes control with a Jumping Superkick. Megan executes a Uranage Backbreaker. She stays on offense with a Tiger Suplex. Megan goes to the apron where she delivers a Springboard Knee Attack to Caitlin. Megan throws Caitlin out of the ring, Caitlin hanging on and staying on the apron. Megan runs the ropes for momentum but Caitlin hits her with a shoulder thrust. Caitlin enters the ring with a Springboard Headscissors, the whip sending Megan headfirst into a turnbuckle. Caitlin delivers the Shayplex (Half Dragon Half Tiger Suplex). The end is near for Megan, who finds herself in the Kiss of Death (Reverse STO transitioned to an Anaconda Vice), ultimately having to tap out.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner as a result of a submission, CAITLIN SHAY!
Lily Luna: Caitlin Shay trying to make up for her loss last week defeats Megan Mitchell in relatively short fashion.
Chris Pierce: I'm a little surprised she was out here competing tonight after her Falls Count Anywhere Match against Android 18 last week, but it just goes to show you how tough she really is.
Gus Ramos raises the hand of Caitlin. Caitlin simply wipes her hands and exits the ring.

The opening beat of "ultranumb" by Blue Stahli as the crowd goes in a frenzy, hyped to see the arrival of "The World Warrior" The cameras focused on the countdown clock shown in the titantron while we hear a voice say, "Ultranumb"
"THREE. THREe, THRee, THree,Three
"TWO, TWO., two two
ONE"
"YOU WANT IT ALL RIGHT NOW"
The lights starts to flicker before coming back to normal as Justin Wyndham comes out with a smile on his face. He bends down on both knees and looks at his imaginary "watch" before getting up and does a cut throat sign.
Jen Brunelli: This is your Alternative Main Event set for one fall! introducing first, representing Lethal Weapons, from Cloverleaf, Texas, weighing in at 210 pounds, "The World Warrior" JUSTIN WYNDHAM!
He then gets up before running down to the ring in full speed. Once he enters the ring, he bangs his head to the nearest turnbuckle, hyping himself up before looking back at the crowd with a sick smile. He then climbs at the turnbuckle and does the cuthroat sign before getting off and waiting for his match to start
As Footsteps by Pop Evil begins to blare through the speakers of the arena, Ryan comes out from behind the curtain. He stands and looks out into the crowd.
Jen Brunelli: And his opponent, representing War Horse, from Tampa, Florida, weighing in at 195 pounds, he is one-half of the AXW Tag Team Champions, "The World Class Workhorse" RYAN STARR!
He then runs down the ramp, hitting hands with the fans and slides into the ring. Then he goes up onto the ropes and bounces on them, trying to get the fans all hyped up for the match. He then jumps in the ring a little to get warped up to face his opponent.
The two lock up, with Justin backing Ryan to the ropes. Justin has to back off, and when he goes to re-approach Ryan, Ryan gets his boot up, simultaneously backflipping to the apron. Ryan comes springboarding in with a Tornado DDT. Ryan takes Justin back down with a Swinging neckbreaker. Justin starts to get up only to get a Front drop kick to the side of his head by Ryan Starr. Justin ends up rolling out of the ring. Ryan slingshots out, delivering a hurricanrana before getting Justin back into the ring, getting a two count. Ryan runs the ropes where Justin takes control with a leg sweep. Justin delivers a Muay Thai Combination, then takes to the ropes where he nails The Suicide Blonde (Daniel Bryan’s Inazuma Leg Lariat.). Justin connects with an excruciating Global Phenomena (Swinging side slam backbreaker). Justin climbs to the top turnbuckle where he dives off for the Olympic Splash (Double Moonsault). Instead of trying for a pin, Justin locks in his signature submission: the Texas Cloverleaf. Ryan howls out in pain but manages to crawl to the bottom rope and the hold is broken. Justin brings Ryan back to the center of the ring where Ryan suddenly double legs Justin and locks in his signature submission: A Starr To Remember (Sharpshooter). After being locked in the hold for several moments, Justin also manages to get to the bottom rope. Ryan delivers a Double knee backbreaker, then ascends to the top turnbuckle. Ryan is looking to set up Burning Flames (Diving somersault neckbreaker), but Justin moves out of the way, and Ryan, who had not gone through with the somersault, lands on his feet. Ryan is then suddenly crumbling to the mat as a result of a World's Most Wanted(Steve Vick' like Superkick) from Justin.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, JUSTIN WYNDHAM!
Lily Luna: Justin Wyndham picks up a big win over future tag team opponent and champion Ryan Starr.
Chris Pierce: But can it be done with TO'A and Austin Graves present? It's one thing to beat a tag team champion in a singles match and an entirely different thing to beat them where it matters most, in a tag team match.
Justin celebrates his hard earned win.
Lily Luna: That's it for this edition of The Alternative, if you want to see more great action, tune into AXW on ION in just a few moments!
