Episode XLI
After the opening intro video, we open to the ring which is filled with the majority of the AXW male roster. Stood in the middle of them is Salvatore Pellegrino.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This contest is a 20 Man Battle Royal, an elimination will occur when a competitor goes over the top rope with any body part touching the floor. The last competitor remaining is the winner, and will face Fenryr Wulfsson at AXW vs. BWF: Domination for the BWF World Championship!
Mike Vincent: You're hearing that right ladies and gentlemen, this is to determine the Number One Contender for the BWF World Championship at the upcoming AXW vs. BWF cross-promotional pay-per-view. You're watching AXW, I'm Mike Vincent along with Cole Haywood. Got a prediction, Cole?
Cole Haywood: I'm pulling for The Alliance of Truth here. Imagine one of them taking the BWF World Championship hostage, that would certainly be very fun to watch.
Mike Vincent: Well let's get right to it, this match is now underway!
The bell sounds and everybody starts brawling with whoever is closest to them. Anthony Royal is beating up on Ben Eatr and forces him into the corner, leading to furious stomping before Royal is jumped from behind by Jack Adams, who tries to throw him over the top by surprise, but Royal latches onto the ropes and falls harmlessly to the apron, while Adams is forced to turn his attention to Jonathan Fhenix and Duncan Aries, who team up on him! The two exchange blows. The camera cuts over to Deimos just in time to see him get teamed up on by Ethan Cutler and Damien Steele! The two are delivering forearms and punches to force the monster down to a knee. They then move him to the ropes and try to push him over the top, but Deimos overpowers the two and shoves each off of him with a single hand. Graves and Starr, meanwhile, have already found their rivals, TO’A and Justin Wyndham. The teams are doing battle, with neither gaining an upperhand. Lefts and rights back and forth, and just when it seems one guy gains the upperhand, it’s neutralized by the opponent’s partner. Trent Mathews is working over Clifford Bradley when Danny Hall attacks Mathews from behind, knocking Trent off balance. Hall nails Trent with a Shot Heard Round The World, sending Trent crumpling to the mat! Meanwhile, our first elimination comes in, as a charging Chaz Anix is back body dropped over the top rope and to the floor by Anthony Royal! As he admires his handiwork, Royal gets a forearm to the back from Ben Eatr, and Royal immediately responds with an elbow to the midsection and then sends Eatr over the top as well!
David Slayton and Gabe Shelley have been picking their spots, and right after Royal got his two eliminations, Shelley sent Clifford Bradley over the top. He was able to save himself and land on the apron, but only for a split second, as Slayton delivered a dropkick to knock him off. They then turn their attention to Cutler and Steele, who had been battling Deimos. Shelley takes Steele down with a scoop slam and Slayton hits a Samoan drop on Cutler. Slayton mounts Cutler for some punches while Shelley whips Steele into the ropes, and follows him, only for Steele to duck and send Shelley over the top and to the floor! Slayton catches it out of the corner of his eye and looks on dumbfounded. He gets up from Cutler and starts to beat on Steele instead. Adams, who was double teamed earlier by Aries and Fhenix, was able to get out of that predicament when David Clash decided to jump Aries. Aries turned his attention to Clash and gained the upperhand pretty quickly with a couple of right and left hooks. Clash dropped to a knee and Aries unleashed some stiff kicks to his sternum before taking him back to his feet and launching him over the top! By the time he turned his attention back to Adams, though, Fhenix had lost the advantage, and Adams nails him with a Knee Trembler (running knee strike)! Aries immediately goes after Adams, looking to save Fhenix from being eliminated, and the two trade blows, with Aries getting the upperhand after a timely knee to the gut. He is looking for The Culmination when Cutler comes in for the save!
TO’A and Wyndham gained the upperhand on Starr and Graves, and were seemingly on their way to eliminating Starr when Anthony Royal grabbed Justin by the tights and tried to send him over the top! Wyndham clutched to the ropes and TO’A came in for the save, violently attacking Royal with a clothesline from behind. Wyndham gets back into the ring safely, but Graves and Starr capitalize on the situation. Graves catches TO’A with a sidewinder and Starr is able to hit Wyndham with an enziguri! The champs team up to toss Wyndham over the top again, this time eliminating him! At the same time, Trent Mathews and Danny Hall both go tumbling over the top, as Hall clotheslines Trent and goes with him, eliminating them both. The battle ensues for the two on the outside, as Hall pummels Trent and Trent tries to escape, with referee help. Inside the ring, Adams and Cutler are attacked by Deimos, who takes both down with some lariats, then plants Adams with a sidewalk slam! He grabs Cutler and tosses him into the ropes when he gets cut down from behind by Damien Steele! Steele, back to his feet, kicks Deimos in the side of the head after saving Cutler from elimination as he’s pressed up against the ropes. Then, Steele explodes towards Cutler and clotheslines him over the top!
Anthony Royal had turned his attention to Malcolm M Mitchell after his assault on TO’A and Wyndham didn’t go so well. He caught Mitchell with a belly to belly suplex, then applied a half boston crab, but Mitchell had fought out of it. When Mitchell tried a clothesline, Royal ducked it and instead hit his Royal Mutilation (Shelton Benjamin’s “Paydirt”) when Mitchell whipped around. Royal capitalizes on this, getting an easy elimination on Mitchell. Aries had saved Steele from Adams, coming in with a roundhouse to get Adams off of him. But Steele wasn’t safe yet, as Deimos immediately got on the offensive, clubbing Steele, but Steele dodged a big boot and instead nails Deimos with a Pele kick! He tries to get back on the offensive, but Deimos recovered quickly from the Pele kick, and he catches the oncoming Steele! He lifts him up as if for a military press, and throws him over the top! TO’A’s partner was eliminated, but he kept fighting. After Royal had eliminated Mitchell, Royal actually came to TO’A’s aid this time, attacking Starr, leaving TO’A and Graves to fight one on one. Graves had initially had the upperhand, but TO’A was able to block a suplex attempt and hit one of his own on Graves, turning the tables. Now, TO’A was trying to lift Graves up and over the top, but Graves was holding on for dear life. Deimos, seizing the opportunity, comes in and big boots Graves, causing him to tumble over the top and to the floor! Deimos, hung up with a leg over the top rope, gets jumped from behind! It’s Steele, and he grabs Deimos’s planted leg and forces Deimos to go over the top for an elimination as well! Steele doesn't stop there, as he goes out to the apron and jumps off with a Looney Stomp to Deimos!
That doesn’t end the rash of eliminations, as Aries and Fhenix were able to double team Adams and end up eliminating him after Aries hit his signature, Enter Gideon (Beautiful Disaster Kick)! But, capitalizing on the two working together, Slayton comes flying in and quickly dispatches Fhenix over the top right after said elimination of Adams! Aries and Slayton get to brawling immediately after, while across the ring TO’A, Royal, and Starr are doing battle. TO’A, after Graves was eliminated, gave Royal a hand with Starr, but Royal backed off and instead attacked TO’A! He delivered some strikes, but TO’A caught an attempted kick, and took Royal down with a dragonscrew. He then clotheslined Starr and Royal, back to his feet, charged. TO’A lifted him up into the air, as if for a spinebuster, but then held him there, and tossed him over the top rope! TO’A had to lean on the ropes for leverage, and Starr looked to seize the moment, and as he ran in for a clothesline, TO’A jumped out of the way and helped Starr to send himself over the top!
With Aries and Slayton already doing battle, TO’A came in and took them both down. He dropkicked Slayton in the back, sending him crashing into Aries and fall to the mat. TO’A grabs Aries by what little hair he has and pulls him to his feet. He attempts an Island Driver (Sitout side powerslam) and connects! Slayton delivers a running forearm strike to TO’A back on the sitout and then pulls Aries to his feet and tries to eliminate him, but Aries grabs onto the top rope and is able to land on the apron! Slayton backs off and delivers The Full Effect (Sweet Chin Music) to Aries, sending him off the apron, but it leaves Slayton exposed: TO’A capitalizes with Sweet Dreams (Running Arched Big Boot)! TO’A brings Slayton back to his feet and delivers FOR SAMOA! (Samoan Spike) before tossing Slayton over the top with ease!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, TO'A!
Mike Vincent: TO'A outlasts 19 other men and becomes the Number One Contender to the BWF World Championship!
Cole Haywood: TO'A vs. Fenryr Wulfsson? I certainly can get behind that match.
TO'A looks straight into the hard camera and runs his thumb across his throat. Justin Wyndham joins TO'A in the ring and we can hear him say "You're looking at the next BWF World Champ right here, and on top of that, you're looking at the next AXW Tag Champs!" before we head backstage.

We cut backstage to Renee Peltier.
Renee Peltier: Hello, I'm Renee Peltier, and my guest at this time i--
Suddenly, the microphone is ripped out of Renee's hand, and she is shoved off camera.
Caitlin Shay: Hello, I'm Caitlin Shay, you already knew that, and I will not be interviewed by someone of such low-caliber as Renee Peltier. Instead, I will be doing the interviewing, and my guest at this time is, well, none other than the great Caitlin Shay, of course!
Caitlin takes a step to her left.
Caitlin Shay: Thank you for having me, Cait! I can call you Cait, right?
Caitlin takes a step to her right.
Caitlin Shay: You're Caitlin Shay, you can call me anything!
Caitlin takes a step to her left.
Caitlin Shay: You're so much better than all these other loser wannabe interviewers. Your hair looks great, by the way.
Caitlin takes a step to her right.
Caitlin Shay: Oh, thank you! Your hair also looks pretty! Anyway, recently the goody-two-shoes turned screw-you-mom-I'll-dress-like-a-whore-if-I-want Hailey Harris wrote a blog, probably on her Tumblr that no one follows because that's how big of a loser she is, took some personal shots at you.
Caitlin takes a step to her left.
Caitlin Shay: Oh, of course she did. I only follow the best of the best on Tumblr, so of course anything that loser Hailey Harris says goes under my radar. What did she say, Cait?
Caitlin takes a step to her right.
Caitlin Shay: She said that she's the very best women's wrestler in AXW history, and others believe it because they put it on a t-shirt, then went on to call you naive and stupid.
Caitlin takes a step to her left.
Caitlin Shay: Oh, Hailey, I've been saying that I am The Greatest AXW Women's Champion Ever. Of All Time. before it was ever on a t-shirt. Hailey is supposedly so great, but who was it that beat Hailey for the AXW Women's Championship the first time she won it?
Caitlin takes a step to her right.
Caitlin Shay: Why, that would be Caitlin Shay! And if memory serves me right, that happened at Rise!
Caitlin takes a step to her left.
Caitlin Shay: It did happen at Rise! And then I went on to beat her again, and again, and again. She claims to be so great, but she hasn't beaten me when it matters, and that's when gold is on the line, and I've beaten her when it matters. So you can sit behind your keyboard and type about how great you are all you want, but I've actually proved it in the ring, and I've done it against you.
Caitlin takes a step to her right.
Caitlin Shay: She also went on to say that you had numerous abusive boyfriends who threw you around like it was nothing.
Caitlin takes a step to her left, and has a confused look on her face.
Caitlin Shay: I'm not sure what that has to do with anything. I can assure you that that is false, however. I've had a couple of boyfriends, sure, who hasn't, but if anything, I threw them around before kicking them to the curb because they were below me. This sounds more like a cover-up for Hailey's personal life, maybe Slamsley McBody isn't as great of a boyfriend as Hailey says he is.
Caitlin takes a step to her right.
Caitlin Shay: Yeah, I'm sure she's been abused by boyfriends countless times, and is trying to protect herself by passing it on to you, because she's jealous that she can't beat you when it matters. Speaking of people who can't beat you, tonight you're gonna face Janet Hurricane.
Caitlin takes a step to her left.
Caitlin Shay: Janet Hurricane talked about her evolution... evolution into what? Janet Slow Wind? Janet A Few Minutes of Sprinkles Before the Sun Comes Back Out? Janet is nothing, and I'll beat her like I have in the past.
Caitlin takes a step to her right.
Caitlin Shay: Thank you for the time, Caitlin! Fans at home, this is a good time to change the channel, because the match that you'll see if you don't is Hailey Harris vs. Android 18.
Caitlin doubles over and pretends to vomit before we head back to ringside.
-----
"Invincible" by Amaranthe hits, the fast pounding drums blaring loudly from the speakers as the lights dim completely. They come back to Android 18 standing at the entrance ramp, head down, the words 'The code awakens me' flash along the Alternatron behind her as she opens her eyes and brings her head up slowly. She walks stoically down the ramp, a smirk spreading over her face as she goes.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from Cork, Ireland, weighing 135 pounds, ANDROID 18!
She stops in the middle of the ramp, raising her hands to actually sign the words 'I am Invincible.' Before continuing on and leaping straight up onto the ring post, she signs ''I am Invincible' one more time, entering the ring and awaiting the match to start.
A close up of a rain stained notebook, open to these words, spoken in a whisper by Hailey Harris.
She believed she could, so she did.
Wind from an open window blows the pages as "Stronger Than You Think" by Fireflight blares, a deep pink hue shines down on the hooded figure of one Hailey Harris, clad in a simple gray hoodie, the camera staring at the back, where a matching deep pink heart shines under the light, back around to Hailey who thrusts her arms in the air, pink pyros shooting up as Harris looks to the heavens with a smile before making her way to the ring.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And her opponent, from Baltimore, Maryland, weighing 127 pounds, she is the AXW Women's Champion, "The Longshot" HAILEY HARRIS!
She tosses back her hood at ringside before scaling the ring apron and looking out on her fans, entering the ring and scaling a turnbuckle, pointing out to all of them, before making a heart with her hands, leaping off as "Stronger Than You Think" fades out. She tosses off her hoodie to reveal a fishnet and silver corset top to go with her black leather pants with pink back pockets, pink fingerless gloves, and black boots.
The two lock up, with Android delivering hard knee strikes to the gut of Hailey. Android lifts Hailey up for a Butterfly Suplex. Hailey clutches at her back as she crawls to the ropes, which allows Android to deliver a Tiger Feint Kick. Android follows up with a Crooked arm lariat. Android goes off the opposite ropes and hits Hailey with a High knee. Android has Hailey in a double underhook, but Hailey rolls out and looks to take Android out with Check This Out! (Mic Check), but Android counters with an STO. Android whips Hailey to the corner and rushes in after, but Hailey moves out of the way and Android collides with the turnbuckles. Hailey clotheslines Android out of the ring and shouts at referee Jessie McCormick to count her out, and tells her to count faster when Jessie does start the count. Android gets back in at the count of four. Hailey immediately attacks Android, stomping her. Hailey tries for a school boy pin, but Android kicks out of it. Hailey then quickly plants Android with a Baltimore Bombshell (Double Underhook snap DDT). Hailey heads out to the apron and climbs to the top turnbuckle, but Android is already back up and throws a hard punch to the head of Hailey. Android climbs up and wastes no time bringing Hailey back to the mat with a Superplex, floating into the cover, which Hailey barely kicks out of. Android runs to the ropes where she looks for Graceful Orbit (Lionsalt), but Hailey has rolled out of the way and out of the ring. Hailey grabs her championship and says screw it to the match, walking to the back.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner as a result of a count out, ANDROID 18!
Mike Vincent: We're certainly seeing a different side of Hailey Harris, walking out of a match is something she wouldn't have done in the past.
Cole Haywood: She has to unfairly defend her championship against five other women in a ladder match at Rise. She can't risk any injuries before then, I would do the same thing.
Jessie raises Android's hand, but Android pulls it away, not satisfied that she won in this manner. Android ghost-belts, motioning she will be the next AXW Women's Champion.

We return from the commercial break to the locker room of the Steve Corman Guys. All are present, and they're singling out Damien Steele.
Steve Corman: You mind explaining what that was out there?
Damien Steele: You want me to stand here and apologize for what I did? Because I'm not going to. I did what should have been done a long time ago, and that's eliminate the weakest link of the Corman Guys.
Ethan Cutler: Oh, is that right?
Ethan looks to step up to Damien, but Steve holds his arm up to hold him back.
Damien Steele: Yeah, that is right. What have you even done? You're the most irrelevant member of the group. And on top of that, it was a Battle Royal, which means it's every man for himself. You don't seem to be batting an eye that Jack was trying to eliminate me, and hell, I don't blame Jack for trying to eliminate me, I was the biggest threat until Deimos got the fluke elimination on me.
Ethan Cutler: Are you really just gonna let him stand there and run his mouth like this? Talking down to another member of the group?
Steve Corman: Well, for what it's worth, he does make a few good points...
Suddenly, Steve slams Ethan back into the lockers. Damien, Jack, and Caitlin join in and stomp away at him, before they eventually toss him out of the room.
Damien Steele: That's what I'm talking about! Get that weak link out of here! Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go finish up my game plan for Rise.
Damien exits the room, leaving the remaining three behind.
Jack Adams: Sure, maybe Ethan was the weakest link, but I'm still not sure I can trust Damien.
Steve Corman: He's fine, for now. If he tries something, he'll receive the same fate Ethan did.

We cut back to the arena. Suddenly, all the lights turn to a deep red. The fans are in anticipation for what's about to happen. A moment passes and no music plays, but the following image fades onto the Alternatron:
The image fades out and the lights return to normal before we head back to the regularly scheduled programming.

"Cut the Cord" starts as Michael walks out and drops down to one knee and holds up his arms then Bray walks out in his hat and coat and puts his hands on Mike's shoulders and slaps them, then Micheal stands and they both walk down
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next tag team contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from Hoboken, New Jersey, at a combined weight of 471 pounds, the team of Michael Veaga and "The Krazy Karney" Bray Coleman, BEAUTY AND THE JEKYLL!
then Bray crouches down to remove his hat then his coat and he runs into the ring and lays on the mat staring at his opponent(s) while Micheal climbs up to the apron and climbs to the second rope and does a warrior shout while pounding his chest, then he jumps down to the ring.
danieltidwell.bandcamp.com/track/save-the-dinosaurs-super-mario-world
As the metal version of the overworld theme of Super Mario World blares, also known as “Save The Dinosaurs” by Daniel Tidwell, The Nintendudes emerge, running in place on either side of the stage, then meeting at the center of the ramp and posing together, back to back before swinging their arms around Bushwhackers style to the music.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And their opponents, from Redmond, Washington, at a combined weight of 450 pounds, the team of "Player One" Mac Icarus and "Player Two" Link Zapper, THE NINTENDUDES!
They enter the ring and pose once more as their music fades.
Bray and Link start the match. They lock up with Bray getting in a headlock. He drags Link to the corner and tags in Veaga, who helps Bray out with a double suplex. Veaga drops an elbow then lifts him for a military press slam. Pinfall gets a 2 count. Veaga tags Bray in, who whips Link towards Veaga for a clothesline! Bray then goes for a pin: 2 count. Bray ascends the ropes for the Karnival Kross, but Link somersaults forward to dodge! Link scrambles to tag Mac, and Mac hits a hip toss and then a discus clothesline. Mac then hits Bray with snake eyes followed by a high belly to belly suplex, and pins, only to get a 2. Mac tags in Link and lays Bray across his knee, leading to a slingshot elbow drop/backbreaker combo! Link tries for the Konami Code (Sliced Bread #2), but with Link in midair Bray shoves him off! Bray falls to a knee, far from Veaga, and Link in between. Link charges Bray, so Bray responds to Link with The Ferris Wheel (Tilt-a-whirl slam)! Both guys make their tags, and Veaga immediately takes down Mac with a shoulder block! Back to his feet, Mac charges again and Veaga takes him right back down! A knee drop, followed with an Oh My? (standing moonsault). Veaga pulls Mac to his feet and goes for the Freak-Out (Muscle Buster), but Link dropkicks Veaga in the back. Mac slides off of Veaga’s shoulders as Veaga drops to a knee. Link follows up his dropkick trying to capitalize on Veaga when a superkick from Bray Coleman comes out of nowhere! Link drops and Bray rolls out of the ring. Mac groggily gets to his feet while Veaga waits and Veaga this time hits the Freak-Out and pins for the 3 count!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here are your winners, BEAUTY AND THE JEKYLL!
Mike Vincent: The newcomers The Nintendudes are handed their first loss in their second match here.
Cole Haywood: Can't win them all, Mike. Beauty and the Jekyll are also a relatively new team here, and they're still trying to make a name for themselves, and The Nintendo Guys or whatever they're called got in their way.
BatJ are excited about their win as they head to the back.

We return backstage where Gina Furlow catches up with TO'A.
Gina Furlow: TO'A, you're gonna be having a busy week as you and Justin Wyndham look to capture the AXW Tag Team Championships at Rise, but five days before then, you're going to be competing for the BWF World Championship at AXW vs. BWF: Domination as you will be taking on Fenryr Wulfsson. I'd just like to get some thoughts on all these recent developments.
TO'A: My thoughts are I'm gonna have quite a lot of gold on me when Rise is said and done. Hell, maybe I'll even be inducted into the AXW Hall of Fame the next week. Twenty men stood in that ring earlier, and only one stood tall, and that was me. Now I go on to face Fenryr Wulfsson. Fenryr Wulfsson is quite impressive, I'll give him that. There's no one in BWF who can match his size and power, but I can. June 27th will see a new era in BWF when The Samoan Executioner stands tall with the BWF World Title.
UPCOMING MAJOR BWF NETWORK EVENTS:
MONDAY, JUNE 27
SATURDAY, JULY 2
SATURDAY, JULY 9
TUESDAY, JULY 26
"Snake Charmer" hits as a strobe light show begins. A little bit of smoke pours over the stage. A little after 30 seconds, when the snare roll comes in, is when Caitlin Shay emerges from the back. She stops on the stage, and looks around the crowd, sneering, unhappy about having to be in Sacramento.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from Pinecrest, Florida, weighing 126 pounds, CAITLIN SHAY!
She makes her way down to the ring, where she climbs onto the apron. She takes a moment to talk down to the crowd before entering the ring. She walks to the opposite ropes, with her arms spread, and a smile on her face as if to say, "I'm better than you." The music fades out as we await for the match to start.
“S-P-I-R-I-T
Spirit!! Let’s hear it!!
S-P-I-R-I-T
Spirit!! Let’s hear it!!”
Blue strobe lights roams around the arena like a trance as the opening tune of "Happy Song” by Bring Me The Horizon blares out of the PA system.
“LET’S GO!”
Out comes Janet Hurricane, her hoodie veil blinding her face. As the tempo gets faster and faster, we see her jumping up and down, still cannot see her face. Once we hear the lyrics, Janet reveals her face to the crowd and starts shadowing punching and kicking, feeling the energy of her theme song. She then starts walking her way to the ring, bopping her head to the music and in her own zone, not giving a damn about the fans’ reaction.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And her opponent, from Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing in at 120 pounds, she is "The Queen of the Ravenous Generation" JANET HURRICANE!
Once she enters the ring, she takes off her hoodie and does a couple of shadow boxing, again feeling the energy of the music before it fades.
The two lock up. Janet gets Caitlin in a side headlock but Caitlin pushes her off into the ropes. Janet comes off and takes Caitlin down with a shoulder block. Janet runs back off the ropes where Caitlin takes her down with a drop toe hold. Janet starts to get up, holding her face, when Caitlin runs off the ropes and takes her to the mat with a Swinging Neckbreaker. Caitlin lifts Janet up for a Fisherman Suplex that sees a two count. The two get to their feet and Janet walks into a Pendulum Backbreaker. Another two count. Caitlin hooks Janet for a Shayplex (Half Dragon Half Tiger Suplex), but Janet breaks free of Caitlin's grasp. Janet drives Caitlin to the mat with a Tropical Storm (Forward Russian Legsweep). This gets a two count for Janet who doesn't stop there as she gets Caitlin in the ropes and plants her with the Cry of Terror(Rope-hung DDT). Janet heads to the top rope where she dives off with the Last Breath of Air (Diving elbow drop). This sees a two count for Janet. Janet whips Caitlin into the ropes, Caitlin springboards off the second rope with a Headscissors, the whip sending Janet head-first to the turnbuckles. Caitlin pulls Janet out of the corner and slams her to the mat with a Shayplex. Caitlin is frustrated at Gus Ramos when he only counts two. Caitlin pulls herself up to the second turnbuckles and jumps off with a Diving Front Dropkick. Janet tumbles back into the opposite corner, and Caitlin storms in with a Forearm Smash, then pulls Janet back out and takes her down with a Reverse STO, and before Caitlin can lock in one of her signature submissions, Janet rolls them over and locks in Caitlin's move: a Koji Clutch! Caitlin is in shock as she was not expecting to be caught like this, but she manages to swivel them around and gets her foot on the rope. Janet breaks the hold and gets back to her feet. Caitlin gets back up to her feet and is rocked with a Wrath of the Hurricane (Maryse’s Heel Kick)! Caitlin goes groggy before slumping to the mat, Janet placing her hands on Caitlin's shoulders for the pin.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, JANET HURRICANE!
Mike Vincent: Janet Hurricane continues to be dominant as she gets a win over Caitlin Shay.
Cole Haywood: Caitlin clearly didn't have a clear head coming into this match, didn't you see what transpired in the Corman Guys locker room earlier? She's clearly devastated about all the tension going on.
Janet raises her arms in victory. She stands in the middle of the ring, looks up, then mimics climbing a ladder. She pulls down the imaginary title, and signals she will be the next AXW Women's Champion.

We return backstage to Brad Adams.
Brad Adams: Ladies and gentlemen I'm here with Malcolm M. Mitchell, and Malcolm, you seem to be having some trouble finding your footing after the fall of The Takeover.
Malcolm M. Mitchell: After we lost at Horizon, Leland told me that his heart wasn't in this anymore, and he has since gone on to live his life outside of wrestling. Later that night, Zoey told the world that she was taking time off. That just leaves me and Velvet, and we decided to go our own ways. Velvet has been doing good, she finds herself in a match at Rise for the Women's Championship. And I... don't know if I'll even be a part of Rise. And if I keep going down the path I'm on, then frankly I don't deserve to be on the Rise card. There is another event before Rise, isn't there? A little something called AXW vs. BWF: Domination. What better than that to prove I still got what it takes to be the best damn wrestler on this roster? Luke, you need five people to represent AXW? Well you got one right here. I was in a four person team for two years, what's another person? I know what it takes, I got what it takes, and I can help prove that we in AXW are better than those in BWF. Don't take it personally.
-----
Salvatore Pellegrino: Ladies and gentlemen, this is is your Main Event! It is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the AXW Xperience Championship!
The opening chords of "The Right Direction" by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus rolls throughout the arena. There’s a fountain of pyro at the three second mark as the song hits. Three spotlights shine and revolve around as if searching for someone, and the fans are on their feet, cheering in anticipation for the hero they know is coming. At the seven second mark, the hooded figure steps from behind the curtain and through the pyro looking down. The song builds to the fourteen second mark as he throws his hood back and arms out, fired up, as there’s a loud pop of orange and white pyro from the stage. Gabe Shelley responds to the cheers of the fans by pounding his chest and pointing out to them. The fans are positively crazy about Gabe. He begins to make his way to the ring and is sure to tap hands of fans on the ramp.
I will never understand the path you chose
Chemical parasitic waste inside your bowels
So wrap it up while you still can
While you got the offer in
I just can't believe
That you'd throw it all away
Now you falsely return today
As you're falling on your face
Shelley makes his way up the steel steps and jumps to the second turnbuckle and looks around the arena with a smile on his face. He jumps into the ring as his hood comes back up, landing on his feet. He goes to the middle of the ropes ropes facing camera side and jumps to the second one. He flips the hood back once again and makes finger guns at the camera and fires with a wink.
As Daniel Licht’s “Hide Your Tears” opens with a sweet Spanish guitar lick, the lights dim into a golden hue, as elegant script spelling out “The Tragic Hero” flashes over the video wall. Fhenix emerges, his back to us, clad in a golden wrestling robe. He turns as the song gets a bit darker and heavier in tone, golden pyros raining down behind him as he poses, arms outstretched with a smirk. He walks to the ring with smooth confidence, entering the ring and scaling a turnbuckle, actually cupping an ear and egging on the crowd for more hatred before leaping off with a sinister smirk, which slowly turns into an eerily focused, stern glance, a mastermind considering strategy before his match begins, his music fading out.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Introducing first, the challenger, from Columbus, Ohio, weighing in at 220 pounds, here is "the reVolution" GABE SHELLEY!
Gabe climbs a turnbuckle and gets the crowd pumped up.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, representing The Alliance of Truth, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 240 pounds, he is the defending AXW Xperience Champion, "The Tragic Hero" JONATHAN FHENIX!
Jonathan raises his championship into the air, receiving majority boos.
Height

The two lock up with the bigger Fhenix backing Shelley to the corner. Fhenix looks for a punch but Shelley ducks it, and Shelley now has Fhenix cornered. Fhenix gets nailed by a flurry of strikes from Shelley. Shelley lifts Fhenix up and places him in the tree of woe. Shelley runs off the ropes before hitting Fhenix with the Hesitation Dropkick, with Fhenix falling out of the tree and back to the mat. Shelley lifts Fhenix into the air with an Exploder Suplex. Shelley looks for a Cannon Ball (Similar to the Codebreaker, but Gabe's knees are in his opponents chest), but Fhenix grabs Shelley's legs and lets him fall to the mat. Fhenix tries to tie Shelley's legs up, perhaps for Fhenix Tears (Haas Of Pain), but Shelley shoves him off. Shelley looks to get back on offense as he runs at Fhenix, only for Fhenix to lift him up high for Try To Breathe (High flap jack hot shot into the ropes, followed by a stiff running kick aimed right at the throat). This gets a two count for Fhenix, who picks Shelley back up to his feet. Shelley hits a surprise spinning back kick, then runs the ropes where Fhenix hoists him up for the Stock Market Crash (D-Lo Brown's Sky High). Fhenix follows up with a Sudden Reality (Regal style running knee trembler). This sees a two count for Fhenix. Fhenix again lifts Shelley back to his feet and this time Shelley connects with the Cannon Ball. Fhenix gets back to his feet only for Shelley to plant him with a Junkyard Jam (Pedigree) for a two count. Shelley continues his offense with the Jersey Cutter (Twist of Fate). Shelley heads to the apron and springs back in with I'm a Bird, Mother F**ker! (Springboard Leg Drop From Apron), but Fhenix moves out of the way. Fhenix picks Shelley off the mat, and again Shelley fights Fhenix off. Shelley goes to whip Fhenix, but Fhenix reverses the momentum. Instead of releasing Shelley for the irish whip, Fhenix pulls him back in and delivers The Tragic Hero (Hard irish whip spun into a tilt a whirl sideslam but flowed through into an RKO)! Matt Baker is there for the pin.

Thre--OOOOH! Gabe kicks out!
Jonathan Fhenix remains calm, but you can still tell he is not happy. Fhenix picks Shelley up and sets him on the top rope. Fhenix climbs up as well, and suddenly, Fhenix is slammed hard on the mat as we see the AXW debut of the Jersey Bomb (Top Rope Sit Down Powerbomb) from Shelley. Shelley now tries to capture his first AXW championship as he plants Fhenix with The reVolt (Cradle Shock)!

No! Fhenix kicks out. Gabe runs his hands through his hair. Gabe stands back up, where he is taken down with a drop toe hold! Fhenix then has Shelley trapped in Fhenix Tears (Haas Of Pain)! Shelley reaches out but there's no rope to grab. Shelley doesn't have much choice, he taps out.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner as a result of a submission, and STILL the AXW Xperience Champion, JONATHAN FHENIX!
Mike Vincent: What an incredible match-up, Jonathan Fhenix doesn't plan on losing the Xperience Championship anytime soon.
Cole Haywood: His first run was cut short, he needs to hold onto the title for another 76 days to redeem it for another championship, and he's gonna be defending it twice in one week if he can defeat whoever his opponent will be at AXW vs. BWF: Domination, and that's only assuming he doesn't have a title defense next week as well.

Jonathan raises his championship into the air. He exits the ring, a smug smile on his face as he backs up the ramp.
Mike Vincent: That's all we have for you this week, next week is the last stop before AXW vs. BWF: Domination and Rise, Luke Mathews will be there to make announcements regarding both events! Good night!
