Fresno, California
Episode XLII
Pyro blasts from the stage and Alternatron, before the cameras pan across the crowd.
Mike Vincent: In two weeks, AXW invades the Staples Center as we bring you AXW's premier event: Rise. This is the last stop before then, hello ladies and gentlemen, I'm Mike Vincent with Cole Haywood.
Cole Haywood: Also five days before Rise is AXW vs. BWF: Domination, a jam packed week that you won't want to miss.
"Still Counting" by Volbeat starts to play as the camera pans from the crowd to the Alternatron, showing a bit of the entrance video, before shifting to the stage where Luke Mathews emerges from the back.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome one-third of the BWF Trios Tag Team Champions, and the CEO of AXW, LUKE MATHEWS!
Luke makes his way down to the ring and takes the microphone from Salvatore.
Luke Mathews: Hello, Fresno!
Cheap pop.
Luke Mathews: In two weeks time we will be down the road in LA, and there still is not a main event set for Rise, which is one of the reasons why I'm out here. The main event of Rise will be one of two matches. Should Steve Corman retain the AXW Championship at AXW vs. BWF: Domination, then he will defend the title at Rise in a Triple Threat Match against David Slayton and Duncan Aries. Should Steve Corman lose the title at Domination, then the BWF wrestler who wins the title will defend it at Rise against Steve Corman, David Slayton, and Duncan Aries in a Fatal Four Way Match.
Luke Mathews: That's not the only main event I'm here to announce. The main event of AXW vs. BWF: Domination is a 5-on-5 Survival of the Sickest Match between Team AXW and Team BWF. I'm here to announce the participants of Team AXW. The first participant is Malcolm M. Mitchell. He won me over with his speech last week. However, also on Team AXW will be the person who is partially responsible for my sister and his wife taking time off, Janet Hurricane. Say what you will about these next two picks, but at the end of the day, they are full-fledged AXW contracted wrestlers, Gabe Shelley and David Slayton. As for the last pick, well, this person may certainly not be my best friend and may disagree with how I run things, but he's a key factor in putting AXW on the map and helping it to be what it is today, three-time AXW Champion Duncan Aries. Be sure to check AXW.com for more updates on the Rise card.
Luke exits the ring and begins his walk to the back.
Mike Vincent: All great wrestlers individually, but as a team this could be quite catastrophic.
Cole Haywood: No worries, Duncan Aries will carry the team just like he has this company the past three years.
Mike Vincent: Well, there was that full year from 2014-15 where he wasn't on the roster.
Cole Haywood: I do my best to forget that time.
Suddenly, all the lights turn to a deep red. The fans are in anticipation for what's about to happen. A moment passes and no music plays, but the following image fades onto the Alternatron:
The image fades out and the lights return to normal.
“Say Hello” blares over the PA system as Anthony Royal slowly emerges through the curtain. He smirks and throws his arms above his head before strutting down the ramp. He mostly ignores the crowd, only occasionally taking the time to mock and berate them.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 227 pounds, ANTHONY ROYAL!
As he approaches the ring, he hops onto the ring apron, looking back at the crowd, smirking and shaking his head in disgust before entering the ring. He then climbs to the nearest turnbuckle and stares out into the crowd before hopping down and waiting for the match to begin.
"Too Drunk to Fuck" by the Dead Kennedys kicks in as a smirking Jack Adams comes jogging out from the back. He looks at the crowd, laughing to himself as he walks to the ring, all the while Adams is goading the fans and prevoking them, daring them to punch him, before feigning punching them himself. Generally, just being a bully.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, representing the Steve Corman Guys, from Fort Payne, Alabama, weighing in at 230 pounds, "The Last Real Man" JACK ADAMS!
Adams slides into the ring and being the dick he is, just yells to the hard camera "LAST REAL MAN ALIVE!"
Royal locks up with Adams. Adams knees Royal in the gut and clubs him in the back. Royal falls to his knees and Adams hits him with some Knife Edge Chops. Jack sends Royal to the ropes and Royal responds with a Spear. Jack goes groggy from a Step Up Enziguri from Royal. Royal drops Adams with a Reverse DDT that sees two. Jack gets back on offense by kicking Royal in the gut, then runs the ropes where Royal catches him with a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker. Royal picks Adams up for a Vertical Suplex, then climbs the turnbuckles for a Moonsault. Royal tries for a German Suplex, but Adams rolls out and delivers a German Suplex of his own. Jack lifts Royal up for a Gorilla Press + Rear sheer fall drop. Royal gets back up holding his gut and is nailed by an Alabama Hamma (Running Polish Hammer). Jack keeps Royal down with an Alabama Stompdown (Garvin Stomp). Jack lifts Royal up for a Running Corner Powerbomb, which of course us succeeded by the Meat Hook Lariat. This gets a two count for Adams who lifts Royal back to his feet. Adams hits a Swinging Back Heel Kick, followed by a Running low knee to the breadbasket. Jack runs to the ropes once more and Royal pops him up for a Flapjack. Anthony hits Adams with a Spinning Heel Kick, then climbs to the second turnbuckle, before planting Jack to the canvas with a Tornado DDT. Anthony starts to lift Jack for Lights Out (Brainbuster), but Jack fights it. Jack hits a hard kick to the gut and tries to lift Royal for the Gotch-Style Piledriver, but Royal counters with a back body drop. Jack is back to his feet and is immediately dropped with a Royal Mutilation (Shelton Benjamin’s “Pay Dirt”), Brian Sullivan counts the three.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, ANTHONY ROYAL!
Mike Vincent: A big win for Anthony Royal tonight, defeating the former Xperience Champion.
Cole Haywood: As good as Jack Adams is, Anthony Royal is a former world champion and has been at this game longer. Not surprising to me that he picks up a win, although this could have gone either way.
Sullivan raises Royal's hand. Royal wipes his hand before exiting the ring, another victim added to his perfect record thus far.

We're backstage where Damien Steele is holding his head.
Damien Steele: Message received, Deimos, loud and clear. But, in two weeks at Rise, we won't be competing in just a regular old match. I just caught up with Luke Mathews, and he made it official. We're gonna compete in my playground. Two weeks, Staples Center, Los Angeles. Damien Steele will finally slay Deimos in a Death Match.
Damien walks off and we head to commercial.

"Twilight Zone" by Golden Earring plays of the P.A. system as the camera pans over the arena stopping at the entrance way as Danny Hall, sporting a fur vest, strolls down to the ring stopping sometimes to yell at children,
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next tag team contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from Camden, Tennessee, weighing in at 220 pounds, he is the BWF Chaos Theory Champion, "Mr. Most Hated" DANNY HALL!
then when he gets to the ring he rolls under the bottom rope to sit in the corner then he stands up.....in the corner.
"Rocketman" starts with all of the lights out with some smoke and one spotlight
"She packed my bags last night pre flight
Zero hour nine a.m.
And I'm gonna be high, as a kite by then
I miss the earth so much, I miss my wife
It's lonely out in space
On such a timeless flight
And I think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone"
Then a hooded figure shows up and waits at the spotlight.
"And I think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone"
Ben raises his arms simultaneously taking off his cape and walks to the ring.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His tag team partner, from Mason City, Iowa, weighing in at 223 pounds, BEN "ROCKET MAN" EATR!
"Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids
In fact it's cold as Hell
And there's no one there to raise them if you didn't
And all this science, I don't understand
It's just my job, five days a week
A rocket man, a rocket man"
On beat with the song Ben climbs the apron and jumps on the turnbuckle.
"And I think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone
And I think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone"
Ben keeps his arms up then jumps into the ring.
"Now, I think it's gonna be a long long time
And I think it's gonna be a long long time
And I think it's gonna be a long long time
And I think it's gonna be a long long time"
Failure by Breaking Benjamin fades into play in the arena. The lights dim as a spotlight centers up on the stage. 17 seconds into the song, pyros go off on either side of the stage and Clifford Bradley bursts onto the stage.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And their opponents, first, accompanied to the ring by Alyssa Liles, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 218 pounds, CLIFFORD BRADLEY!
Bradley walks down the ramp, a smirk on his faces, completely ignoring the fans to either side of him. He uses the stairs to climb to the apron, demanding the ref to come and open up the ropes for him when entering the ring, and then goes directly to his corner to await the beginning of the match.
"Dammit" plays and out walks Trent Mathews and Sam De Santa. Trent drops to his knees with his arms outspread as Sam stands behind him with her hand on her hip, with pyro raining down behind them. Trent stands up and they make their way down to the ring.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His partner, accompanied to the ring by Sam De Santa, from Owasco, New York, weighing in at 217 pounds, he is the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, TRENT MATHEWS!
Trent slides into the ring and climbs a turnbuckle, raising his title into the air.
Hall and Mathews start the match. They circle each other, before Trent tags out to Clifford Bradley. Bradley comes in and the lock up commences, Bradley wins and takes Hall down with a Belly-to-belly suplex. Bradley picks Hall up for a Spinebuster, earning a two count. Bradley hoists Hall onto his shoulder, where Eatr manages to get a blind tag, before Bradley slams Hall to the mat with a Power slam. Ben surprises Bradley with a Running knee. Ben delivers a Hurricanrana, then bounces off the rope for a Springboard clothesline. Ben lifts Bradley up and throws him in the turnbuckle for a Lawn Dart, then hits the ropes and nails a Rocket Shot (Running single leg dropkick). Ben gets a two count and lifts Bradley to his feet. Bradley manages to get away from Ben and tags in Trent. Trent takes Ben down with some Jumping Calf Kicks. Trent slams Ben down with a Pumphandle Drop. He follows up with a Jawbreaker and a Step-up Enzuigiri. Trent executes a Uranage Backbreaker, only getting two when Danny Hall comes in to break the pin. Clifford Bradley clotheslines Hall out of the ring, and follows up with a slingshot crossbody to the outside onto Hall. Meanwhile Trent whips Ben to the ropes where Ben responds with a Slingblade. Ben drives Trent's head to the canvas with a Snapmare driver, only getting two however. Ben lifts Trent back to his feet where Trent suddenly double legs Ben, folding him for a pin with both feet on the ropes. Referee Gus Ramos is out of position to see Trent's feet on the ropes, Clifford holding Trent's feet for extra leverage, and the fact that both Sam and Alyssa are holding Danny back as he's trying to crawl in the ring as Gus counts three.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here are your winners, CLIFFORD BRADLEY and TRENT MATHEWS!
Mike Vincent: A cheap win, this was essentially 4-on-2 here tonight.
Cole Haywood: They didn't seek out managers to lose matches, Mike. These two could become another dangerous tag team with these ladies by their side, but for now Trent has to focus on the Light Heavyweight Title.
Trent and Clifford immediately head to the ramp. They raise each others inside hands, while their respective mangers raise their outside hands. In the ring Danny is upset about being held back by the girls while Ben is trying to plead his case to Ramos about Trent's feet on the ropes.

We're backstage with Max Kilburne.
Max Kilburne: Max Kilburne here, and I am joined by the Number One Contenders to the AXW Tag Team Championships, Lethal Weapons! Guys, i--
Max is immediately interrupted as War Horse approach the scene.
Ryan Starr: You know, we have similar styles, but the key difference between us, is me and Austin actually like each other.
Austin Graves: And we didn't get this far to lose to a couple of scrubs. If you know what's good for you, you won't even come to LA.
Justin Wyndham: And we didn't get this far to be told to go home. Sure, we may not be the friends we once were, but regardless, we get the job done.
TO'A: Tell you what, why don't you boys keep those titles nice and shiny, I wanna see my reflection in them when you're laying flat on the mat at Rise.
Lethal Weapons walk off. Austin looks to follow them but Ryan stops him.
Ryan Starr: Let them have this, cause they won't have these after Rise.

“Like A Prayer” by Madonna plays through the speakers providing a peppy ambiance. The entire arena goes dark momentarily as “Sister Inferior” Olya Latanya Oglovska enters from the ramp with a pair of opera binoculars in her right hand. Three spotlights highlight various audience members who have striking physical attributes. As Olya walks down to the ramp she fans herself with a bidder paddle.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from Saratov, Russia, weighing 115 pounds, "Sister Inferior" OLYA OGLOVSKA!
Upon reaching the arena floor and within clear eye line of her opponent, all three spotlights converge. Oglovska raises her bidder paddle to indicate she plans on procuring another priceless artifact for her exhibit.
As the tune of 'No One's Gonna Find Her In The Dark', a mashup between Panic! At The Disco and Fall Out Boy, starts to play, the lights go dim. The colors of pink and purple with green lazers start to shine through the area as Velvet comes out from behind the curtain. She points out to the fans while the music continues playing. Velvet walks down the ramp giving the 'rocker' sign and gives high-fives to the fans.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And her opponent, from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing 125 pounds, VELVET VALENTINE!
She walks up the steps and heads to the ropes. She blows a little kiss and straddles the ropes. Velvet glances into the camera and wiggles while pointing to the camera. As she gets into the ring, the chorus of her music begins to play. As the chorus is playing, Velvet is finally in the ring. She hops up onto the top turnbuckle and gives the 'rocker' sign once again, then yells at the fans to get them psyched up. She then jumps down from the turnbuckle and does a few arm stretches before the match starts.
A rematch from a couple weeks ago, Velvet and Olya lock up. Olya gets Velvet in a side headlock and takes her to the mat with the side headlock takedown. Olya brings Velvet to her feet with the headlock still applied, then quickly transitions to execute a Fisherwoman's Suplex. Olya takes Velvet back down with a Snapmare with Rolling Neck Snap. Olya slams Velvet on the back of her head with a Dragon Suplex that sees two. Olya whips Velvet into the corner and runs after, but Velvet gets her boot up. Velvet comes out of the corner and takes Olya down with a bulldog. Velvet looks to whip Olya to the ropes but Olya sends Velvet instead, and Velvet connects with a Handspring back elbow. Velvet runs the ropes where she nails Olya with a Shining wizard for a two count. Velvet follows up with a Northern lights suplex for another two. Velvet delivers a Spinning heel kick as well as a Double knee backbreaker. Velvet lifts Olya to her feet and Olya suddenly hoists Velvet onto her shoulders for a Rolling Fireman's Carry Slam. Olya plants Velvet to the mat with a Sombo Suplex. Olya runs off the ropes with a Whirlybird Headscissors Takedown. Olya sets Velvet on the top rope, and Velvet kicks her away. Velvet dives off with a crossbody that gets two. Velvet stays on the attack as she drives Olya to the canvas with a Kiss 'N Tell (Sitout double underhook facebuster). Velvet is frustrated when Olya kicks out. Velvet lifts Olya back to her feet, where Olya takes Velvet down with a surprise Gnostic Orthodox [Crucifix Pin] for the three count.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, OLYA OGLOVSKA!
Mike Vincent: The longest reigning Women's Champion with some momentum on her side as she looks to recapture the title.
Cole Haywood: Well there are five other women in the match, and I'd say Caitlin Shay has the most momentum, defeating three of the participants on The Alternative earlier. Regardless, a win is a win and Olya does know what it takes to win the title.
Olya rolls out of the ring and backs up the ramp, signalling she will be the next Women's Champion.
UPCOMING MAJOR BWF NETWORK EVENTS:

Hear Me Now" plays throughout the arena and Malcolm M. Mitchell makes his way to the stage. He takes a moment to taunt, throwing shadow punches, then runs his hands through his hair and flicks the water off his hands, keeping his arms spread with his head up, soaking in the reaction from the crowd.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from Riviera Beach, Florida, weighing in at 214 pounds, MALCOLM M. MITCHELL!
He walks down to the ring with confidence in every step. Malcolm enters the ring, climbs to the second turnbuckle, and does the same taunt he did on the stage.
"Marvelous Me" plays as Chaz Anix comes out flexing and shooing fans away
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by "Mr. Lust" Chester Andrews, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 234 pounds, "Dr. Big Freaking Deal" CHAZ ANIX!
as he gets into the ring to a spotlight just on him as he "flaunts his stuff" in the ring.
The larger Anix powers Mitchell into the corner and delivers some hard strikes. Chaz takes the time to taunt at the fans which allows Malcolm to get Anix cornered and deliver strikes of his own. Chaz however turns the tables and gets Malcolm corenered again, delivering more strikes before pulling him out with a Snap Suplex. Chaz delivers a Dropkick into kip up. As Malcolm gets back up, Chaz grabs his head for a Headlock with flexing. Malcolm manages to get free and double legs Chaz to the mat, locking in a Figure Four Leg Lock with sit-ups. Chaz manages to pull himself to the ropes to force a break. Malcolm runs in at Chaz who back drops Malcolm out to the floor. Chaz exits the ring and throws Malcolm hard into the ring steps. If that wasn't enough, he slams Malcolm face first on them after. Chaz rolls Malcolm back into the ring and tries a cover, a two count. Chaz whips Malcolm to the ropes where Malcolm hangs on. Chaz runs at him only for Malcolm to low bridge with Chaz spilling to the floor. Malcolm gets as much speed as he can before diving out onto Anix with a Tope Con Hilo. Mitchell brings Anix to his feet and gets some retribution by slamming him face first on the apron. Mitchell rolls Anix back in the ring and slides in after, but Chester Andrew grabs his foot. Malcolm manages to kick him away but this is enough distraction for Chaz to roll Malcolm up, Malcolm kicking out at the last possible second. The two are right back up, Malcolm ducks a clothesline and runs the ropes, nailing Chaz with Sleep Tight (Busaiku Knee Kick)!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, MALCOLM M. MITCHELL!
Mike Vincent: Malcolm M. Mitchell picking up a needed win as he heads into AXW vs. BWF: Domination repping Team AXW.
Cole Haywood: This guy was once a member of what we thought was an unstoppable team, but look at how that turned out. I wouldn't be surprised if he's first eliminated at Domination if I can be honest.
Shane Gates raises the hand of Malcolm. Malcolm exits the ring, high fiving fans on his way up the ramp. Chester enters the ring to check on Chaz who is still out cold.

We open backstage, where The Nintendudes, AXW’s newest tag team, are both posed, back to back, Mac Icarus doing a Mr. Universe pose while holding an NES Advantage controller, and Link Zapper holding his last name’s sake, as both slowly move out of the pose.
Link Zapper: “AXW tag teams, welcome to The World Of The Nintendudes! We’re on the scene and hot on the trail of those elusive AXW Tag Team Titles, oh yeah!”
Mac Icarus: “We’ve journeyed here, from a world of 8 bit pixels, enemies galore, and bosses that can test any mortal man’s will, and lived to tell the tale!”
Link Zapper: “We declare to you, the gaming masses, not to turn the channel off 3, not to hit the reset button, and most of all, don’t hit the pause button, because you just might miss something..”
Mac Icarus: “Something called greatness! We’re holding down the B button, plowing on through..”
Link Zapper: “And shooting to kill!”
Mac Icarus: “The Legend Of Nintendudes begins in AXW!”
Link clicks a few shots with the Zapper gun at the camera, as Mac does indeed hold down the B button before running off, Link not far behind.

We return to ringside where Steve Corman has joined the commentary team, talking about how he should not have to defend his title five days before Rise, but will defeat whoever challenges him regardless.
PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT!
The lights in the arena all cut to black and the Tron comes to life, pulsating with a green light as a quiet beat gets louder with every flash. It gets faster and faster, and louder with each pulse, until the pulsating light explodes into the words "Blazenwing Rises" and “The Phoenix” by Fall Out Boy blares across the arena sound system.
You are a brick tied to me that's dragging me down
Strike a match and I'll burn you to the ground
We are the jack-o-lanterns in July
Setting fire to the sky
He-here comes this rising tide
So come on
PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT!
The stage fills with smoke and the crowd rises to their feet, cheering loudly, as the smoke clears on the stage and a man in a dark green trenchcoat stands, head down, facing the Tron. He raises his hands and snaps his fingers, causing four loud bursts of pyro to ignite, two on each side of him, before spinning around Y2J style to reveal David Slayton!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Main Event, it is a tag team contest scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, weighing in at 245 pounds, here is "The New Hotness" DAVID SLAYTON!
Cross walks and crossed hearts and hope-to-dies
Silver clouds with grey linings
So we can take the world back from the heart-attacked
One maniac at a time we will take it back
You know time crawls on when you're waiting for the song to start
So dance alone to the beat of your heart
His sunglasses shining with the glare from the arena lights, David looks to the left, then to the right, nodding towards the crowd before walking down the ramp. After stopping to slap hands with a few fans, David moves towards the ring steps and hops up and down a few times in front of them before quickly racing up the steps to the apron side facing the stage. He stops and pulls his sunglasses off, then tosses them behind his head into the crowd before leaning down and stepping through the ropes to enter the ring.
Hey young blood
Doesn't it feel like our time is running out?
I'm gonna change you like a remix
Then I'll raise you like a phoenix
You're wearing our vintage misery
No, I think it looked a little better on me
I'm gonna change you like a remix
Then I'll raise you like a phoenix
David walks across the ring and leaps up onto the second rope in the corner nearest the timekeeper, then pulls off his green trenchcoat and tosses it towards the timekeeper. David smirks and points to the fans, then slaps his chest a few times and points up towards the sky, closing his eyes and saying a short prayer. David leaps down from the corner and immediately turns to sit down in the same corner, ala Raven. David then rests his head on the second turnbuckle pad as his theme fades and the crowd continues cheering.
The opening chords of "The Right Direction" by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus rolls throughout the arena. There’s a fountain of pyro at the three second mark as the song hits. Three spotlights shine and revolve around as if searching for someone, and the fans are on their feet, cheering in anticipation for the hero they know is coming. At the seven second mark, the hooded figure steps from behind the curtain and through the pyro looking down. The song builds to the fourteen second mark as he throws his hood back and arms out, fired up, as there’s a loud pop of orange and white pyro from the stage. Gabe Shelley responds to the cheers of the fans by pounding his chest and pointing out to them. The fans are positively crazy about Gabe. He begins to make his way to the ring and is sure to tap hands of fans on the ramp.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His partner, from Columbus, Ohio, weighing in at 220 pounds, he is "the reVolution" GABE SHELLEY!
I will never understand the path you chose
Chemical parasitic waste inside your bowels
So wrap it up while you still can
While you got the offer in
I just can't believe
That you'd throw it all away
Now you falsely return today
As you're falling on your face
Shelley makes his way up the steel steps and jumps to the second turnbuckle and looks around the arena with a smile on his face. He jumps into the ring as his hood comes back up, landing on his feet. He goes to the middle of the ropes ropes facing camera side and jumps to the second one. He flips the hood back once again and makes finger guns at the camera and fires with a wink.
The lights dim as a cold blue hue fills the ramp, we see the faces of Jonathan Fhenix and Duncan Aries flash over our screen with equally cold and smug looks as a roar of thunder begins "Hide Your Tears" (Rainy Mood Remix) by Yorgos Tzil, the guitar licks of the song kicking in, with the harder, grittier tones to follow, Duncan Aries and Jonathan Fhenix emerging in matching black t-shirts with a single blood red tear drop on the front, Fhenix's with the words "Pay For Your Sins" and Aries with a "Sorry Not Sorry" both written in the same blood red color. Fhenix and Aries make their way to the ring, exchanging cold looks of disdain and annoyance to the crowd who boo their every mood.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Their opponents, at a combined weight of 478 pounds, the team of "The Wild Card" Duncan Aries and the AXW Xperience Champion "The Tragic Hero" Jonathan Fhenix, they are THE ALLIANCE OF TRUTH!
Fhenix enters by the ring steps, Aries sliding underneath as they look around the ring, that rumble of thunder beginning the slow fade out to the song.
Gabe and Fhenix start the match. They trade blows with Fhenix backing Gabe to the ropes. Fhenix sends Gabe across the ring to the opposite set and hits him with a dropkick on the rebound. Fhenix takes Gabe down with a Reverse DDT, then drags him to the AoT corner and locks in a Dragon Sleeper, and tags in Aries. Aries comes in and kicks Gabe in the gut while Fhenix breaks and exits. Aries lifts Gabe for a snap suplex. Aries hoists Gabe up not once, but twice, for a double powerbomb. Aries tags Fhenix back in who clims to the second turnbuckle, coming off with a Second rope elbow drop (ala Bret Hart). Fhenix tries for a pin and gets two. Fhenix looks as if he's about to whip Gabe to the TR corner, but pulls him back, delivering a Release Northern Lights suplex into the turnbuckles in the AoT corner. Fhenix tags Aries back in and Aries delivers a bridging German suplex for a two count. Aries brings Gabe to his feet where Gabe fights back with a flurry of strikes. Gabe delivers a STO Backbreaker into Neckbreaker to Aries. Gabe plants Aries with a Jersey Cutter (Twist of Fate) and tags out to David. David comes in and takes Aries down with a clothesline before blasting Fhenix off the apron. David nails Aries with a Running Forearm Strike. David lifts Aries up for the Triple Vertical Suplexes, and jumps high into the air with a Jumping Elbow Drop for two. David drives Aries to the mat with a Death Valley Driver, then tags Gabe back in. Gabe enters the ring via I'm a Bird, Mother F**ker! (Springboard Leg Drop From Apron) with the pin being broken up by Fhenix. Fhenix quickly heads back out. Gabe irish whips Aries to the ropes and lifts him for a Pop Up Flapjack/Shining Wizard Combo. Gabe tags in David. David drops Aries with a Sit-Out Facebuster, then swiftly locks in the Firehawk Lock (Crippler Crossface)! Fhenix comes in and manages to break up the hold. Gabe sprints in and Cactus Clotheslines both him and Fhenix to the floor. The two start brawling on the outside, until Fhenix throws Gabe into Steve Corman! Meanwhile, in the ring, David looks The Full Effect (Sweet Chin Music), but Aries catches the foot and throws it away, and promptly lifts David for The Culmination (Front slam pickup swung into a Rock Bottom), and it connects! Matt Baker is there to count to three.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here are your winners, THE ALLIANCE OF TRUTH!
Mike Vincent: A hell of match, The Alliance of Truth proved to be the better team tonight, and took out our guest, AXW Champion Steve Corman in the process.
Cole Haywood: And Corman isn't having any of it! Oh--he just threw Shelley hard into that barricade!
Corman has thrown Shelley hard into the barricade and throws Fhenix over the announce table, nearly taking out Mike and Cole. Corman doesn't stop there as he slides into the ring and clocks Aries with the title! Corman raises the title high in the air as he stands tall.
Mike Vincent: Steve Corman stands tall, and for once, he has no one else out here with him.
Cole Haywood: He didn't enlist the Steve Corman Guys to do his dirty work for him, he enlisted them to be his proteges and to carry on his legacy.
Mike Vincent: That's very arguable, but that's all the time we have, make sure to catch AXW vs. BWF: Domination on June 27 and Rise on July 2, both on the BWF Network! Good night!
