AXW vs. BWF: Domination
Broadmoor World Arena
Colorado Springs, Colorado
June 27, 2016
Pyro blasts from the stage and AlternaBlazentron before the cameras pan across the crowd, and they finally rest on the AXW commentary table.
Mike Vincent: Welcome to AXW vs. BWF: Domination! For your AXW commentary team, I'm Mike Vincent joined by Cole Haywood.
Cole Haywood: We may have a sort of dysfunctional team, but regardless, you're going down, BWF!
The camera pans over to the BWF commentary table.
Nick Webb: And for BWF, I'm Nick Webb along with Rob "Rayne" Stratowzky.
Rayne: You're wrong Cole, AXW is going down! I'm so confident in Team BWF that I have $500 riding on them.
Mike Vincent: We have a lot in store for tonight, so let's get right to it!
"Snake Charmer" hits as a strobe light show begins. A little bit of smoke pours over the stage. A little after 30 seconds, when the snare roll comes in, is when Caitlin Shay emerges from the back. She stops on the stage, and looks around the crowd, sneering, unhappy about having to be in Colorado Springs.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome AXW member CAITLIN SHAY!
She makes her way down to the ring, where she climbs onto the apron. She takes a moment to talk down to the crowd before entering the ring. She walks to the opposite ropes, with her arms spread, and a smile on her face as if to say, "I'm better than you." The music fades out and Caitlin receives a microphone.
Caitlin Shay: How're you doing, Colorado?!
The crowd cheers at the cheap pop.
Caitlin Shay: Well, it's safe to say that we'd have two different responses, because this state sucks.
The crowd boos.
Caitlin Shay: I'm with you, boo Colorado! If I were unfortunate enough to be one of you who lives here, I'd either move as far away as I can, or hope death calls my name early. How can you live in a place that smells like it has a skunk infestation? Even the Starbucks here tastes like crap. What's the point of living if you can't even have good Starbucks? The sooner I get to LA the better, even though California is just a Florida wannabe. But before then, I am forced to be in this god awful state to be at this event: AXW vs. BWF: Domination. It's fitting that I'm here, because that's what I do best - dominate. I dominated the AXW Women's Division by becoming the Greatest AXW Women's Champion Ever. Of All Time. A certain someone named Hailey Harris might disagree with that and say she's the best Women's Champion, but she's just showing how unoriginal she is. Plus, isn't imitation the highest form of flattery? This world is filled with Caitlin Shay wannabes but there is only one Caitlin Shay. I will reclaim MY AXW Women's Championship at the same event I won it the first time: Rise, but before then, why don't I show all you BWF people who aren't familiar with me - side note: why wouldn't you be familiar with me? - just how dominant I am. So, Katie James, or Katie Shelley, or Starla Gardevoir, or Pikachu Bulbasaur, or whatever name you're going by these days, send whatever schmuck you want out here to be blessed with a loss by the hands of the great Caitlin Shay!
Perhaps not what anyone expecting, out walks Empire Wrestling member Azurine Vebbins.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Her opponent, representing EW, from Halo Acres, Phloriphornia, weighing 115 pounds, "The Adorkable Angel" AZURINE VEBBINS!
Azurine makes her way to the ring as we get the match underway.
Caitlin Shay is in control to start the match, taking Azurine down with a Swinging Neckbreaker after the initial lock up. Caitlin controls the match at a methodical pace, locking Azurine in cravates and headlocks. During a headlock, Azurine shoves Caitlin off to the ropes, on the rebound Caitlin takes Azurine down with a clothesline. Caitlin continues her offense with a Pendulum Backbreaker, and a Fisherman Suplex for two. Caitlin lifts Azurine to her feet where Azurine catches her with a dropkick. Azurine officially takes control with a Snap Suplex. Azurine delivers some Forearm Shivers, an Open Palm Strike, before slamming Caitlin to the mat with a Fireman’s Carry. Azurine takes to the air with a Springboard Double Axe Handle that gets her a two count. Azurine runs off the ropes where she's caught with a Snap Powerslam from Caitlin. Caitlin heads to the apron where she executes a Springboard Headscissors, the whip sending Azurine face first into the turnbuckles. Caitlin pulls her out of the corner and delivers the Shayplex (Half Dragon Half Tiger Suplex). Caitlin looks to end it as she sets Azurine up for the Kiss of Death II (Reverse STO transitioned to a Koji Clutch)! Azurine is struggling, but manages to maneuver herself to where she has Caitlin's shoulders on the mat, BWF referee Seth Williams counting the three.
Scott Benjamin: Here is your winner, AZURINE VEBBINS!
Nick Webb: The EW star Azurine Vebbins getting an upset victory over AXW's Caitlin Shay tonight.
Rayne: I guess Caitlin Shay isn't as great as she says she is. Point 1 for BWF!
Azurine quickly gets out of the ring while Caitlin is in shock. Caitlin argues with the referee but it gets her nowhere.
Tuesdays on BWF Network
“Like A Prayer” by Madonna plays through the speakers providing a peppy ambiance. The entire arena goes dark momentarily as “Sister Inferior” Olya Latanya Oglovska enters from the ramp with a pair of opera binoculars in her right hand. Three spotlights highlight various audience members who have striking physical attributes. As Olya walks down to the ramp she fans herself with a bidder paddle.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is a Submission Match, introducing first, from Saratov, Russia, weighing 115 pounds, "Sister Inferior" OLYA OGLOVSKA!
Upon reaching the arena floor and within clear eye line of her opponent, all three spotlights converge. Oglovska raises her bidder paddle to indicate she plans on procuring another priceless artifact for her exhibit.
"Ad Absurdum" by Arcturus blasts onto the Tron when Jacob Figgins appears from behind the entrance curtain. Jumping onto a nearby barricade, he throws off his hood to reveal his features. Figgins proceeds to slap hands with nearby fans.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Her opponent, from Kansas City, Missouri, weighing in at 235 pounds, JACOB FIGGINS!
Finally traveling toward the ring, he takes the time to jump onto the other barricade and exchange with more fans before finally tossing off his hoodie and casting it into the crowd. Figgins then hops off the barricade, making a mad dash for the ring. Hopping onto the apron, he hooks his arm about the top rope. His free arm pumping a fist into the air. Hooking both arms about the top rope, Figgins leans back far, flipping himself into the ring. Quickly hopping onto a turnbuckle to flail his head about. Hopping off, he lands in the center of the ring, bouncing on his feet while awaiting the bell.
Figgins immediately takes Oglovska down with a clothesline. He keeps her down by delivering several punches. Figgins picks Oglovska up and nails her with some European uppercuts. Figgins locks in the first submission of the match, a cravate. It's clear that Olya will not submit to this, so Figgins takes her back down with a snapmare. Figgins runs off the ropes and looks for a dropkick, but Olya moves out of the way. Olya takes Jacob down with a drop toe hold, and then locks in an Armbar. Figgins manages to get to the ropes to force the break. Figgins gets back to his feet and Olya takes him down with a Standard American Frankensteiner, then swiftly locks in a Figure-Four Headlock. Figgins seems to struggle a little, but manages to get to his feet, with Oglovska on his shoulders, and slams her down with an Electric Chair Drop. Figgins grabs the arm of Olya and sets up Another New Crisis (Figgins hooks the targets arm around their own neck, then snaps back, driving the target onto their head with a suplex). Figgins lifts up Oglovska and places her down so she straddles the top rope. Figgins climbs to the second turnbuckle and then jumps off the turnbuckle, nailing the LARIATOOOO! Oglovska rolls out of the ring and Figgins follows after. Figgins throws Oglovska into the ring steps. Figgins runs at Oglovska looking to deliver a knee strike against the stairs, but Olya moves out of the way and Figgins hits the steps knee first. Oglovska rolls Figgins into the ring, but Figgins stays on the attack. Figgins delivers his Stay Down (Consecutive German Suplexes) maneuver, which in this case was seven suplexes. Figgins waits for the right time, and then locks in Binds of Glipnir (Shining Triangle)! Oglovska is in a world of trouble, and the fans are sure she's gonna tap, but AXW referee Brian Sullivan instructs Figgins to break as Olya's foot is under the rope, and he reluctantly obliges.
Olya crawls to the corner, with Sullivan checking on her. Figgins shakes off the pain in his knee and runs at the corner, Oglovska moving out of the way while ensuring that Sullivan takes the impact from Figgins! The referee is down and Olya takes advantage, nailing Jacob with a Soviet Sickle [Shades of Lance Storm's Superkick)! Figgins crumbles to the mat and Olya drags him to a corner by his legs. Olya slides out of the ring and rams the leg of Figgins into the ring post! Figgins squirms back into the middle of the ring, clutching his leg in pain. Olya grabs something from under the ring and slides back in. Olya has a pipe and repeatedly hammers down on the leg of Figgins before tossing it out of the ring. Olya locks Figgins in the Inverted Sharpshooter, and with Figgins leg in excruciating pain, Figgins taps out. Sullivan has come to enough to see it, and calls for the bell.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, OLYA OGLOVSKA!
Mike Vincent: An underhanded victory for Olya tonight, we've never really seen her use the referee to her advantage like this before.
Cole Haywood: That's what makes her so good. People have doubted her in the past and she's proven them wrong, she's not the longest reigning AXW Women's Champion for nothing and showed off her cerebral prowess as well as her technical prowess tonight.
Mike Vincent: Regardless, this is a big win for Olya, Jacob Figgins is certainly no slouch and is an icon in this business.
Olya exits the ring, celebrating on her way back up the ramp. Jacob is holding his leg in pain in the ring, but is refusing medical attention.
Saturdays, 8 ET simulcast on AXW.com & BWF Network
‘War Machine’ begins to play, as the crowd rises to their feet. The song plays out with the white spots lights zooming around the arena until the 33 second mark when the drums kick in and Austin Graves steps out from the back, checking the black hockey tape on his wrists.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next Non-Title Tag Team Contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, representing AXW as well as War Horse, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 245 pounds, he is one-half of the AXW Tag Team Champions, AUSTIN "WAR MACHINE" GRAVES!
Graves pays no attention to the crowd whether they boo or cheer him, and he’s focused like a laser beam on the task at hand. Rolling into the ring under the bottom rope, he rolls to his feet and walks over to the hard (tv) camera side of the ropes, placing both hands on the top ropes, pressing down on them slightly, staring coldly into the camera at first, then giving way to a cold, almost sick half smile as if to say, “I’m going to enjoy this…”
As Footsteps by Pop Evil begins to blare through the speakers of the arena, Ryan comes out from behind the curtain. He stands and looks out into the crowd.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His partner, also representing AXW and War Horse, from Tampa, Florida, weighing 195 pounds, he is the other half of the AXW Tag Team Champions, "The World Class Workhorse" RYAN STARR!
He then runs down the ramp, hitting hands with the fans and slides into the ring. Then he goes up onto the ropes and bounces on them, trying to get the fans all hyped up for the match. He then jumps in the ring a little to get warped up to face his opponent.
The lights in the arena go out as "The Look" takes over the sound system. After a moment they come back on as Emily Corlen walks onto the stage with her arms outstretched.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And their opponents, first, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing 140 pounds, she is one-half of the BWF Tag Team Champions, "The Emerald Phoenix" EMILY CORLEN!
Emily makes her way down the ramp and walks up the steps, entering through the top and middle ropes. She steps onto a turnbuckle and raises her BWF Tag Team Championship into the air.
"The Archer" begins to play as the cameras pan across the arena. A camera finds Meryl Archer making her way to the ring through the Colorado Springs crowd.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Her partner, from Ann Arbor, Michigan, weighing 145 pounds, she is the other half of the BWF Tag Team Champions, MERYL ARCHER!
Meryl hops over the barricade and climbs up onto the apron. She cracks her neck before stepping into the ring. She raises her BWF Tag Team Title in the air as her music fades out.
Starr and Archer lock up, with Starr getting a headlock in and Archer quickly lifting Starr up for a back body drop! Archer mounts for punches and the ref has to pull her off, giving Starr the opportunity to tag in Graves, who comes in and circles the ring with Archer. They lock up, but Graves gets dirty, with a poke to her eye, and then delivers a hip to the gut! Then, a double knee facebreaker, and a pin that only gets a two count. Graves drags her to his corner, tags in Starr, and Starr hops into the ring while Graves holds her down. Starr goes for a double jump moonsault and connects, following with a pin, but another two. Starr goes for a senton after, but she gets her knees up, and Starr rolls away from his own corner, in pain and holding his back, as Archer gets to her feet using the ropes. Graves grabs her by the air, but she is able to guillotine him on the ropes to get free. Starr is to his feet and charges at Archer, but she rolls out of his way, then dives for the tag to Corlen! Corlen enters with a head of steam, taking Starr down with a Polish hammer. Graves enters and she gives him a European Uppercut and then The Skullcracker (chick kick). He drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring, leaving Corlen to deal with Starr. She pulls him to his feet and gorilla press slams him, then tags in Archer again.
This time, Archer’s on the offensive, and she delivers kicks to Starr’s side before yanking him up for an exploder suplex and pinfall. It’s only a two, but she sees the end in sight. She pulls him to his feet, bends him over, and lifts him up for a power bomb, but instead Starr rolls through for the sunset flip powerbomb! Both contestants are down, and Starr begins the crawl to his corner; Archer the same to hers. Graves just gets back on the apron in time to get the tag, and Graves is able to catch Archer by the boot, but she delivers a mule kick and then makes her own tag! Corlen comes in trying a short arm clothesline, but Graves ducks it! She spins back around to receive the Five Finger Death Punch (Short Arm Heart Punch)! Graves goes for the Cradle 2 Grave (Package piledriver) but Archer breaks it up, and Graves stumbles into his corner. Starr makes the tag, the ref acknowledges it, but Archer doesn’t see it. She clotheslines Graves over the top and goes with him, thinking she’s bought Emily time. Emily is getting up and Starr, as soon as she reaches her feet, flips from the top rope, and nails Burning Flames (Diving somersault neckbreaker), then gets the pin in! 1, 2, 3!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here are your winners, the AXW Tag Team Champions, WAR HORSE!
Mike Vincent: A hard fought battle from the sets of tag team champions, but AXW gets the win here.
Cole Haywood: A needed win for War Horse as they bring momentum to their side for their tag title defense at Rise.
War Horse celebrate their win as Corlen and Archer regroup on their way to the back.
Mondays on BWF Network
"Dammit" plays and out walks Trent Mathews and Sam De Santa. Trent drops to his knees with his arms outspread as Sam stands behind him with her hand on her hip, with pyro raining down behind them. Trent stands up and they make their way down to the ring.
Scott Benjamin: This next contest is a Clash of the Singles Champions Tag Match set for one fall! Introducing first, representing AXW, accompanied by his advocate Sam De Santa, from Owasco, New York, weighing in at 217 pounds, he is the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, TRENT MATHEWS!
Trent slides into the ring and climbs a turnbuckle, raising his title into the air.
A close up of a rain stained notebook, open to these words, spoken in a whisper by Hailey Harris.
She believed she could, so she did.
Wind from an open window blows the pages as "Stronger Than You Think" by Fireflight blares, a deep pink hue shines down on the hooded figure of one Hailey Harris, clad in a simple gray hoodie, the camera staring at the back, where a matching deep pink heart shines under the light, back around to Hailey who thrusts her arms in the air, pink pyros shooting up as Harris looks to the heavens with a smile before making her way to the ring.
Scott Benjamin: His partner, from Baltimore, Maryland, weighing 127 pounds, she is the AXW Women's Champion, "The Longshot" HAILEY HARRIS!
She tosses back her hood at ringside before scaling the ring apron and looking out on her fans, entering the ring and scaling a turnbuckle, pointing out to all of them, before making a heart with her hands, leaping off as "Stronger Than You Think" fades out. She tosses off her hoodie to reveal a fishnet and silver corset top to go with her black leather pants with pink back pockets, pink fingerless gloves, and black boots.
Spyke Gein makes his way out onto the stage, as energetic as can be.
Scott Benjamin: Their opponents, representing BWF, first, residing in New York City, weighing in at 150 pounds, he is the BWF Sovereign Champion, "The 16-Bit Superstar" SPYKE GEIN!
Spyke makes his way down the ramp, slapping the hands of fans. He jumps onto the apron and jumps over the top rope, going to a corner where he raises his title into the air.
An old school digital readout blinks on the BlazenTron in a slow countdown that matches up to the beeping at the opening of the track until, as it hits zero, Da Bomb hops out wearing a belly bearing black top with yellow spiked trim and a short pleated tennis skirt in yellow and black. She moves in time with the words as she points to the sky with both hands to punctuate each word.
"Let's Make Hard Hits!"
Scott Benjamin: From Known Parts, weighing 125 pounds, she is the BWF International Champion, DA BOMB!
And then with the building of the rest of the lyrics her skipping bounces travel down the ramp doing a full 360 until she hops onto the apron, leaning half in and out of the ring as the lyrics hit.
"Let me check my"
And leaning back as she looks at her wrist with a sarcastic grin at the words
"Calculator watch!"
As she moves off the apron she gestures to the crowd on each side of the ring while leaning one hand on the top rope (to provoke cheering or otherwise) she then will grab the second rope on the hard camera side and spend some time pulling on it while leaning back as she waits for the match to start.
Trent and Spyke start the match, with the larger Trent backing Spyke to a corner. Trent hits some strikes before Spyke manages to maneuver out, hitting a flurry of strikes of his own to the now cornered Trent. Spyke looks to whip Trent to the opposite corner but Trent sends Spyke instead. Trent runs in at him and receives a boot to the face. Spyke pulls himself to the top rope, coming off with a crossbody. Spyke hits some stiff kicks to Trent before trying to send him off to the ropes, Trent again countering and sending Spyke instead. Spyke responds back with a Quick-Time Event (Back handspring elbow) and tags in Da Bomb. The two execute a double DDT which gets a two count. Da Bomb hits some short arm clotheslines. Da Bomb keeps Trent grounded and then heads to the top. She dives off, where Trent catches her and drops her across his knee for a backbreaker. Trent tags out to Hailey.
Hailey comes in, hitting a spinning heel kick to Da Bomb. She follows up with more kicks, a crescent kick and some buzzsaw kicks. Hailey takes Da Bomb down with a hurricanrana, getting a two count. Hailey rocks Da Bomb with an enzuigiri, before running up her corner with a Sliced Bread #2 to Da Bomb, Trent tagging himself in in the process.
Trent runs the ropes where he hits a Scissor Kick to Da Bomb. Trent lifts Da Bomb up for a Double Underhook Backbreaker. Da Bomb crawls to a neutral corner where she is met by a Swinging Corner Clothesline, which Trent follows up with a Springboard Clothesline. Trent looks to end it as he's ready to hit Da Bomb with a Trentsetter (Shining Wizard to the Back of the head), but Spyke comes diving in and tackles Trent down. Spyke floors it to Hailey, knocking her off the apron, who falls into Sam De Santa in the process. Spyke goes back to his corner. Da Bomb takes advantage by executing Bewm (Reverse Stunner), before tagging out to Spyke.
Spyke hops up to the top rope, diving off with No-Winged Angel (A somersault diving headbutt) which sees victory for the BWF team.
Scott Benjamin: Here are your winners, DA BOMB AND SPYKE GEIN!
Nick Webb: And impressive showing from all champions, but our champions come out on top here.
Rayne: Another win for BWF, another bet won by yours truly!
Spyke and Da Bomb celebrate their win with their respective titles. Hailey is not happy with Trent for losing the match, and leaves him at ringside, she has bigger fish to fry at Rise.
Saturdays, 9 ET on ION TV. Replays on BWF Network.
The lights all go out and "Miseria Cantare" by AFI starts as a single spotlight shines on the entrance as Damien Steele is standing in the entrance hair in front of his face as at the 45 second mark of the song. Damien flips his hair back and starts to walk down to the ring, as the words of the song start.
LOVE... YOUR HATE...
Scott Benjamin: This next contest is a Full Metal Mayhem Ladder Match for the BWF Chaos Theory Championship! Introducing first, representing AXW and the Steve Corman Guys, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 221 pounds, "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE!
Damien Steele makes no connection to any fans that might be throwing insults his way, almost as if he is only focused on the ring.
YOUR... FAITH LOST...
Steele reaches the ring as he walks around to the steps.
YOU... ARE NOW...
Damien waits at the bottom of the steps.
ONE... OF US...
A wicked smile comes across his face as the words of the song repeat again just a little bit faster this time.
LOVE... YOUR HATE... YOUR... FAITH LOST... YOU... ARE NOW... ONE... OF US...
Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent till he reaches the top step and wipes his feet before entering the ring.
"Twilight Zone" by Golden Earring plays of the P.A. system as the camera pans over the arena stopping at the entrance way as Danny Hall, sporting a fur vest, strolls down to the ring stopping sometimes to yell at children,
Scott Benjamin: Representing both AXW and BWF, from Camden, Tennessee, weighing in at 220 pounds, "Mr. Most Hated" DANNY HALL!
then when he gets to the ring he rolls under the bottom rope to sit in the corner then he stands up.....in the corner.
Strobe lights engulf the stage as Jay Blazenwing makes his way from the back.
Scott Benjamin: Representing BWF, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, weighing 207 pounds, he is the defending BWF Chaos Theory Champion, JAY BLAZENWING!
Jay makes his way down to the ring, confidence and swagger in every step. He enters the ring, and poses on the turnbuckles with his championship.
Damien and Danny team up to take out Jay. Once he is removed from the equation, Damien immediately attacks Danny. Damien chucks Danny out of the ring and looks up at the Chaos Theory Championship. Damien exits the ring and slides a ladder in, as well as a chair. Damien sees Jay climbing on the apron and blasts him off with the ladder. Damien sets the ladder up and begins his ascent up it, only to be pulled down by Danny. Danny rams Damien face first on the ladder, before lifting him up for a Release Powerbomb onto the chair. Damien rolls out of the ring in pain as Danny starts to climb the ladder. Jay slides into the ring and climbs the other side, hitting Danny with several punches until he falls off the ladder. Danny climbs back up and hits Jay who came close to unclasping the belt. The two engage in a fist fight, meanwhile, Damien has set up a table behind Danny Hall. Jay has gained the upper hand, and takes a risk, taking himself and Danny off the ladder with a sunset flip powerbomb, which sends Danny through the table. Damien quickly takes advantage and climbs the ladder, only for Jay to push the ladder over, Damien getting hung up on the top rope before falling out to the floor. Jay dumps the ladder out onto Damien, before turning his attention back to Danny. Jay hits Danny with the chair, before delivering a Blazen-plex (Regal Plex) onto the chair.
Jay gets two new ladders and slides them both in the ring. He props one up in the corner. He sets the other up in the middle of the ring. He starts o climb up the ladder, only for Damien to come back in and pull him off, holding him in a powerbomb position. Whatever Jay had planned for the other ladder is used against him, as Damien corner powerbombs him into it. Jay falls to all fours where Damien executes the Loony (Curb) Stomp.
Damien climbs to the top of the ladder and has the title in his clutches, but Danny again yanks him off the ladder. Damien throws Danny into corner ladder and then throws him back out of the ring. Damien again climbs back to his top, but Jay has found the wherewithal to meet him on the other side. The two begin to brawl, but again Jay is on the winning side, and shoves Steele down to the mat. Jay looks to inflict more damage as he dives off the ladder with the Flight of the Phoenix (Top Rope Double Stomp) to Steele!
Meanwhile, Danny Hall quickly scurries up the ladder, Jay tries to stop him as quick as he can, but it's too late, Danny Hall has possession of the title.
Scott Benjamin: Here is your winner, and the NEW BWF Chaos Theory Champion, DANNY HALL!
Nick Webb: Danny Hall has made history tonight, becoming the first person to hold the Chaos Theory Title on three occasions!
Rayne: And better yet, that's another win for BWF!
Nick Webb: Danny Hall is also competing for AXW, you know.
Rayne: He was in BWF first! Where's his loyalty?
Danny heads up the ramp with his title, celebrating each step of the way.
Mondays on MTV2. Replays on BWF Network.
The opening to "Word Crimes" by "Weird Al" Yankovic hits the sound system and the fans start cheering. After a few moments, "Weird Al" begins to sing and as he does, Alison James walks out onto the stage, carrying a clipboard and a yardstick.
If you can't write in the proper way
If you don't know how to conjugate
Maybe you flunked that class
And maybe now you find

She moves to each side of the stage, grinning ear to ear while waving and pointing the yardstick at the fans, then returns to the middle of the stage before heading down the ramp.

I'll try to educate ya

As Ali reaches the ring, she slides her items into the ring before sliding inside herself, shifting her weight to her hands before leaning forward into a flip, landing perfectly on her feet. The crowd cheers as Ali moves to the nearest corner and points at the fans again.

Now, did I stammer

She drops off the corner and picks up her clipboard and yardstick, handing them off to the referee as her theme fades.
"Path Vol. II" takes over the sound system, with a spotlight focusing on the stage. Destiny Figgins walks into the spotlight. She makes her way down the ramp, and walks up the ring steps, entering the ring. She steps onto the turnbuckle, raising her arms in the air.
As Daniel Licht’s “Hide Your Tears” opens with a sweet Spanish guitar lick, the lights dim into a golden hue, as elegant script spelling out “The Tragic Hero” flashes over the video wall. Fhenix emerges, his back to us, clad in a golden wrestling robe. He turns as the song gets a bit darker and heavier in tone, golden pyros raining down behind him as he poses, arms outstretched with a smirk. He walks to the ring with smooth confidence, entering the ring and scaling a turnbuckle, actually cupping an ear and egging on the crowd for more hatred before leaping off with a sinister smirk, which slowly turns into an eerily focused, stern glance, a mastermind considering strategy before his match begins, his music fading out.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next Triple Threat contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the AXW Xperience Championship! Introducing the challengers, first, representing BWF, residing in New Haven, Connecticut, weighing 125 pounds, ALISON JAMES!
Alison raises her arms up, before signalling she will be leaving with the title.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Next, representing BWF, from Kansas City, Missouri, weighing 123 pounds, DESTINY FIGGINS!
Destiny looks on at the title on Jonathan's shoulder.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Representing AXW and The Alliance of Truth, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 240 pounds, he is the defending AXW Xperience Champion, "The Tragic Hero" JONATHAN FHENIX!
Jonathan raises his championship into the air, looking as smug as ever.
The two former Justicars of Illium members decide to put any differences aside and try to take out the larger Fhenix. They manage to take him down with a Double DDT, then they both run the ropes where they both end up being taken down by a Double Clothesline from Fhenix. Fhenix lifts Figgins up in a Gorilla Press, and throws her over the top rope, Destiny crashing hard to the floor. James takes advantage by rolling Fhenix up, getting barely a one count. James runs back off the ropes to try to get momentum but Fhenix catches her for a Tilt a whirl backbreaker. Fhenix continues his attack on the back with a Double underhook backbreaker. Fhenix throws James to the ropes and lifts her up high for a Stock Market Crash (D-Lo Brown's Sky High). Fhenix backs to a corner, as he perhaps is looking to set up Sudden Reality (Regal style running knee trembler), he starts to run at James, when suddenly Figgins steps up off of Alison's back and catches Fhenix with a dropkick. Fhenix stumbles back and falls into the corner. Figgins quickly scrambles up the adjacent turnbuckles, before leaping off with a Coast to Coast Missile Dropkick. Fhenix rolls out of the ring and when Figgins brings her attention back to James, she's brought to the mat by an Axis of Rotation (Double Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors Takeover). James hooks the head of Figgins, and runs up the turnbuckles for Bleeding Rose (Sliced Bread #2). Alison hooks Destiny's leg but she still kicks out.
James has Figgins doubled over and in a front facelock, but whatever her plan was is thwarted as Figgins delivers a Northern Lights Suplex. Figgins follows up with some clotheslines, and a couple of dropkicks, before slamming Alison back to the mat with a German Suplex, bridging for a two count. Destiny runs to the ropes and springboards off them, taking James back down with a moonsault. Figgins sees Fhenix re-entering the ring and runs in at him, only for Fhenix to lift her for Try To Breathe (High flap jack hot shot into the ropes, followed by a stiff running kick aimed right at the throat). Fhenix covers her but it's broken up by James. James nails Fhenix with a roundhouse kick, then takes the stunned champion down with a hurricanrana, getting a quick two count. Both are back up, Fhenix rapidly approaches James who back to the ropes and pulls them down, Fhenix falling out to the floor. Figgins has got back to her feet and is greeted with a hard spinning back kick from James. James lifts Figgins up and sets her on the top turnbuckle. James climbs up with her and is perhaps looking for a superplex, but Figgins is preventing it, causing the two to trade punches in the precarious position. Fhenix starts to climb up with them from the apron, the two again work together to push him off, Fhenix falling back down to the floor. Figgins nails James with an elbow strike, which is enough to send her crashing to the mat. Figgins sees the opportunity and takes it, jumping off the top rope with Fiery Illusion (Swandive Elbowdrop) to James! AXW official Gus Ramos is there to start the count:
One!
Two!
Three!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, and the NEW AXW Xperience Champion, DESTINY FIGGINS!
Mike Vincent: This is certainly a shock, we have a new AXW Xperience Champion, and it's someone who doesn't even work in AXW! That's the joy of the Xperience Championship, you never know who will win it or when, and now if Destiny Figgins can hold onto the title for 90 days, she can redeem the title for another AXW championship match of her choosing, per the rules of the title.
Cole Haywood: This isn't fair to Fhenix! He wasn't even the one who got pinned, nor should he have had to defend the title against two people! The title has always been defended in one on one singles matches! This is the kind of bullshit the Alliance of Truth are trying to fight!
Mike Vincent: Ladies and gentlemen I'm just receiving word through my headset, Destiny Figgins will be in Los Angeles in five days to defend her AXW Xperience Championship against Jonathan Fhenix at AXW's premier event: Rise!
Cole Haywood: Well, I guess enjoy it while it lasts, because Jonathan Fhenix will become a three-time AXW Xperience Champion come Saturday.
Destiny is awarded the Xperience Championship, her first singles championship, and seems to be slightly shocked. Gus Ramos raises her hand into the air. Jonathan Fhenix is on the floor, in pure shock. Destiny climbs every turnbuckle, raising her new championship into the air. Jonathan Fhenix is now arguing and yelling at Gus Ramos.
This Saturday, July 2, 8 ET on BWF Network
The opening of "Shimmy Shimmy Ya" by Ol' Dirty Bastard begins and out step Allen Chaney. Allen cracks his neck before walking down the ramp. He slides into the ring and walks to a corner where he steps onto a turnbuckle. He looks around at the crowd before stepping down.
begins to play. The crowd reacts with overall boos and jeers, but there is the small population of fans, for either nostalgia or just plain assholes, that cheer and do the hero worship wave, wearing Icon Merch.
Big Stevie Cool walks out dressed in his classic BSC ring attire, black shiny side lace up pants and a black wrestling tank with "BSC" on the front. As well as a black elbow pad on his right elbow with "ICON" written in gold across it. He stops to look around the arena and the boos being thrown in his direction. Corman makes it very clear to the fans that “all of this” is because of Him. He smiles his cocky smile, then double thumb points to himself, taps his right index finger on his temple and slowly pans his left hand, index finger extended, around the arena; indicating that he’s smarter than each and every one of them, then Corman slowly raises his arms over his head, making the trademark Highrollers hand gesture (basically the wolfpack, while moving his thumbs around in the international sign for MONEY). He makes his way to the ring, as the A-Hole High Rollers fans cheer and do the "Icon" worship wave as Corman nods, points, and smiles at the camera. He climbs the stairs, planting each foot, and walks across the apron. He stops and the referee holds open the ropes as Corman enters the ring. Corman smirks and again repeats the High Rollers hand gesture by the ropes.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the AXW Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, representing BWF, from Kansas City, Kansas, weighing in at 300 pounds, he is "The Comedian" ALLEN CHANEY!
Allen looks on, as he looks to capture another world title to add to his impressive resume.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, representing AXW, from Hamilton, Ontario, weighing in at 275 pounds, he is the defending AXW Champion, "The Icon" STEVE CORMAN!
Steve raises his title with one hand, and does the High Rollers sign with the other.
The two lock up, with Chaney backing Corman to the ropes. AXW Senior Official Matt Baker calls for a clean break, and one happens, only for Chaney to Cactus Clothesline them both out of the ring. Chaney uses the environment to his advantage, throwing Steve into the announce tables, barricade, ring steps. Chaney rolls back in and out of the ring to break the 20 count, as this match is being contested under AXW rules. This is when Steve takes control, forcing Chaney back first into the apron, then into the barricade. With Chaney propped against the barricade, Corman throws various strikes - punches, knees, stomps, before entering the ring, demanding that Baker count him out. Chaney gets back in at the count of 17 and takes Corman down with a vicious clothesline. Chaney hits Corman with several Bionic Elbows, then sends him to the corner. Chaney barrels in with a corner splash, then shoves Corman to the mat for only a one count. Chaney whips Corman to the ropes and starts to duck for a back body drop, but Corman manages to counter with a Float over DDT. Chaney gets back to his feet, where Corman brings him to the corner and rams his head into the turnbuckle. Corman follows up with some Back Elbows to the cornered Chaney. Corman takes Chaney down with The Icon-Plex (Exploder Suplex). Corman waits for the perfect time, then bounces off the ropes to hit Chaney with a nasty Clothesline from Canada (Hell). Corman hooks the leg, but Chaney kicks out at two.
Corman grabs Chaney's head and delivers a Double Handed Headbutt, then locks in a side headlock. Chaney manages to power out of the move by lifting Corman up for a back suplex. Corman gets up clutching at his back, only to be on the wrong end of some hard punches from Chaney. Corman is forced back into the corner where Chaney continues his onslaught, running across the ring at the count of 4 and sprints back, perhaps looking for another corner splash, but Corman gets his boot up. Corman pulls himself up to the top turnbuckle, but Chaney is there to deliver more punches. Chaney climbs up with him and brings him back down to the mat with a superplex. Chaney runs off the ropes before leaping into the air for a big Senton, earning a two count. Chaney then suddenly finds himself trapped in The Famouser (Corman Crippler Crossface), but Chaney manages to crawl to the bottom rope before too much damage is done. Chaney uses the ropes to help himself up, Corman runs in at him, but Chaney sends Corman to the floor with a back body drop. Chaney exits to the apron, and dives off delivering another Bionic Elbow. Chaney sends Corman into the ring post. Chaney then plants Corman on the floor with a Gutwrench Powerbomb! Chaney rolls Corman back into the ring and comes in right after. Chaney drives Corman to the canvas with The Set-Up (Double Arm DDT)! Chaney doesn't stop there, as he starts to set up THE PUNCHLINE (Package Piledriver), but Corman double legs Chaney and pins him in a sort of school boy, getting two.
The two are right back up, and Corman again double legs Chaney, trying to lock in a Canadian Conspiracy (Sharpshooter), but Chaney kicks him off. Chaney walks into a Front Spinebuster, which Corman follows up with a Falling Fist Drop. Corman runs off the ropes where he nails Chaney with a Running High Knee. Corman gets behind Chaney and takes him down with Triple German Suplexes. If that wasn't enough, he slams him with The Iconic Slam (Rock Bottom)! Steve heads out to the apron, where he rips off his elbow pad and tosses it into the crowd, before ascending the turnbuckles. Corman leaps off with the Superstar Elbow (Test-esk flying elbow). Corman only gets two and argues with Baker that it was three. This is when Chaney starts to fight back, throwing punches to the gut of Corman. Chaney bounces off the ropes only to be caught with a Coconut Smash (off knee). Corman lifts Chaney up and sets him on the top turnbuckle. Steve climbs up with him, only to be berated by more punches. Another Bionic Elbow from Chaney sends Corman down to the mat. Chaney quickly re-positions himself, and dives off with WTFFFF! [Watch that Funny Fat Fuck Fly!] (Moonsault)! Corman got his knees up at the last second! Corman wastes no time taking advantage, lifting Chaney up for the Icon Bomb (Running Powerbomb)!

Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, and STILL the AXW Champion, STEVE CORMAN!
Mike Vincent: A hard fought victory for Steve Corman, he heads to Rise still AXW Champion.
Cole Haywood: You know I'm a big Steve Corman fan, but I'll admit, it would have been fun seeing Allen Chaney hang out in AXW as the champion. Alas, Corman proved he's still one of the best in this profession.
Jack Adams, Caitlin Shay, and a banged up Damien Steele all come down to ringside to celebrate their mentor's win. The Corman Guys all stand tall before we head backstage.
Malcolm M. Mitchell is backstage, earbuds in, getting warmed up for the Main Event. AXW interviewer Gina Furlow approaches him and he removes his earbuds.
Malcolm M. Mitchell: What's up, Gina?
Gina Furlow: Not much, Malcolm. I just wanted to get your thoughts on representing Team AXW in tonight's Survival of the Sickest Main Event.
Malcolm M. Mitchell: I'm excited, and I'm glad I've been given this opportunity. This is exactly what I need to get my career back on track. But it's not just all about me, this is a team effort, and regardless of how I feel about certain members on my team, namely Janet Hurricane and Duncan Aries, I'm willing to put my emotions aside for the benefit of the team, because I believe without a shadow of a doubt, that we can beat Team BWF.
Suddenly, Gina scurries backwards as Malcolm falls to the floor. He was hit in the back by a chair, the perpetrator being Jonathan Fhenix. Duncan Aries is with him, as Jonathan repeatedly slams the chair down on Malcolm. Duncan taps Jonathan on the shoulder, a signal to stop, and Jonathan throws the chair down at Malcolm.
Duncan Aries: Yeah... no. Looks like you're not gonna make it to the match. That's a shame. I guess Luke Mathews' nepotism only goes so far, huh?
Jonathan Fhenix: I shouldn't have even had to defend my title tonight! I should be right there on Team AXW because the Alliance of Truth IS AXW! But no! Luke Mathews forces me into a title match against not one, but two people?! Right before Rise, which was supposed to be my biggest defense?! When does this shit end?!
Duncan Aries: Ol' Luke the Puke isn't gonna win this time. I'm gonna carry Team AXW to victory like I always do, then at Rise I'm going to become a four-time AXW Champion, Jon will win back his Xperience Championship, and AXW will be taking a step in the right direction for once. Sorry... not sorry.
The Alliance of Truth walk off, leaving Malcolm out on the ground. Several backstage officials rush in to check on him. Luke Mathews happens to be walking by and sees the commotion, and approaches the scene.
Luke Mathews: What the hell happened here? God dammit...
Luke grabs one of the personnel.
Luke Mathews: ...Go find Justin Wyndham and tell him to put his gear on, he's in the Main Event.
The man nods and runs off as medical personnel come in and we head back to ringside.
