Tampa, Florida
Episode XLIV
Pyro blasts from the stage, ramp, and Alternatron, before the cameras pan across the crowd, showing their signs and merchandise.
Mike Vincent: Hope you're having a great Saturday Night, this is Alternative Xperience Wrestling coming to you live from Tampa, Florida!
Cole Haywood: Tonight we have not one, not two, but three championship matches!
Mike Vincent: That's right, I'm Mike Vincent joined by Cole Haywood, and let's kick things off with one of those championship matches!
"Path vol II" echoes across the arena. Destiny appears in the stands schmoozing with a few of the fans while she makes her way down the steps. She slaps hands with the fans along the way while approaching the barricade and finally climbing atop it. Lifting her hands into the air, she pumps the crowd for a larger reaction. Off the barricade, Destiny climbs up onto the ring apron and then the top turnbuckle. Once more pumping the crowd before back flipping into the ring.
"Code Red" by Nonpoint blares as a red light shines down on the ramp, flashing and flickering as Bruiser Lazzou emerges to a chorus of boos in a black singlet with a red hazard symbol on it, cracking his knuckles and then slapping his face, roaring and then pounding his chest before heading to the ring, yelling "OPEN FOR BUSINESS!" to fans, some of the younger ones still so traumatized by this once beloved hero. He enters the ring and runs the ropes, stomping his feet like a bull and roaring once again with his arms extended and his head tilted back, roaring once more as his music fades out.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the AXW Xperience Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, from Kansas City, Missouri, weighing 123 pounds, DESTINY MAVERICK!
Destiny climbs a turnbuckle, getting the fans on her side.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Her opponent, from Augusta, Maine, weighing in at 325 pounds, he is the defending AXW Xperience Champion, BRUISER LAZZOU!
Bruiser raises his championship high into the air, even stepping towards Destiny, just towering over her.
Mike Vincent: Ladies and gentlemen, we have some breaking news. We thought coming into this match that Destiny Maverick would be a representative of BWF, but it turns out earlier today, Destiny has in fact signed an AXW contract and will now be competing in AXW full time in addition to her commitments in BWF.
Cole Haywood: I thought her name was Destiny Figgins, this is getting too confusing.
Mike Vincent: It was, until she recently eloped to Las Vegas with BWF Hall of Famer Johnny Maverick.
vs.
Destiny throws some kicks to the side of Lazzou, until Lazzou catches her leg, lifting her up for a spinebuster. Lazzou allows Destiny to get up on her own. Lazzou tells Destiny to bring it, letting her hit him with some punches and forearms. Destiny runs off the ropes where Lazzou lifts her for a big sidewalk slam. Lazzou sits on the mat, shaking his head and laughing. He goes for a nonchalant cover, getting a two count. Destiny actually gets to her feet before Lazzou does, and she catches him off guard with a roundhouse kick! Destiny somehow has Lazzou on his knees and nails him in the head with some elbows. Destiny leaps up and tries for a headscissors, but Lazzou holds onto her, before running her into the turbuckles with a powerbomb. Lazzou runs the ropes and just about obliterates Destiny with a strong style lariat. Lazzou lifts Destiny onto his shoulder and plants her with a running powerslam. Bruiser runs back off the ropes where he squishes Destiny with Bruising Bodies (Big Splash). Lazzou covers but pulls Destiny's shoulder off the mat himself, he wants to have some more fun. Lazzou whips Destiny to the ropes, where Destiny springs off them with Upsetter (When Destiny is tossed toward the ropes or barricade, she runs up and launches back with a leg lariat). Lazzou is actually off his feet and Destiny has to work quick, she immediately locks in the Zipline (Shining triangle)! Lazzou is caught in the hold, but not for long as he uses his vast size advantage to get to his feet and slam Destiny hard to the mat to break the hold. Lazzou lifts Destiny back up only to drive her down with a Deadliest Catch (Double Powerbomb). Lazzou ascends the turnbuckles, where he dives off with the Bruiser Bomb (Vader Splash)! It doesn't connect though because Destiny has rolled out of the way. Destiny quickly takes advantage, climbing to the top rope to set up Fiery Illusion (Swandive elbow drop), but Lazzou is already back up and nails Destiny with a straight punch. Lazzou climbs the buckles with her, lifts her onto his shoulders, before leaping off with Bruised and Battered (Top Rope Samoan Drop). Bruiser knows it's in the bag, and simply places his hand on Destiny's stomach as the pin attempt.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, and STILL the AXW Xperience Champion, BRUISER LAZZOU!
Mike Vincent: Destiny Maverick gave it all she had, but the size of Lazzou proved to be too much.
Cole Haywood: Thanks for coming Destiny, you should have stayed in BWF.
[/center]
Lazzou snatches the title from Brian Sullivan, and exits the ring, still not interested in celebrating his wins until his 90 days are up. Officials check on Maverick, who insists she's fine. They stay by her side for safe measure as she exits the ring and makes her way up the ramp, in pain but looking forward to spending time here in her new home.
-----
When ringside has been cleared,
The opening chords of "The Right Direction" by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus rolls throughout the arena. There’s a fountain of pyro at the three second mark as the song hits. Three spotlights shine and revolve around as if searching for someone, and the fans are on their feet, cheering in anticipation for the hero they know is coming. At the seven second mark, the hooded figure steps from behind the curtain and through the pyro looking down. The song builds to the fourteen second mark as he throws his hood back and arms out, fired up, as there’s a loud pop of orange and white pyro from the stage. Gabe Shelley responds to the cheers of the fans by pounding his chest and pointing out to them. The fans are positively crazy about Gabe. He begins to make his way to the ring and is sure to tap hands of fans on the ramp.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome "the reVolution" GABE SHELLEY!
I will never understand the path you chose
Chemical parasitic waste inside your bowels
So wrap it up while you still can
While you got the offer in
I just can't believe
That you'd throw it all away
Now you falsely return today
As you're falling on your face
Shelley makes his way up the steel steps and jumps to the second turnbuckle and looks around the arena with a smile on his face. He jumps into the ring as his hood comes back up, landing on his feet. He goes to the middle of the ropes ropes facing camera side and jumps to the second one. He flips the hood back once again and makes finger guns at the camera and fires with a wink. He receives a microphone.
Gabe Shelley: I'm not gonna stand out here and run my mouth for five minutes, I'm gonna keep this short and simple. I'm out here to wrestle, and the person I want to wrestle is Jack Adams. Jack, if you're the man you say you are, why don't you come down here and try to beat me again.
Jack Adams makes his way out from the back, holding a microphone.
Jack Adams: You wanna wrestle? Well, since you asked so nicely, sure, I'll come down there and I'll beat you.
Jack makes his way down the ramp, he starts to climb up the apron, but backs off.
Jack Adams: Except... I'm not gonna do any of that tonight. I have no problem beating you again, but I'm gonna do it when I want to do it. If you wanna wrestle me, you're gonna have to wait until September 10. That's right, at Anarchy, where anything goes. I'll see you then. Jack drops his mic and steps off the stage, making his way to the back off to the side.
Gabe Shelley: You know what, that sounds good to me. But I came out here looking for a match, and I'm not leaving until I get one.
Gabe doesn't have to wait long, as:
“Say Hello” blares over the PA system as Anthony Royal slowly emerges through the curtain. He smirks and throws his arms above his head before strutting down the ramp. He mostly ignores the crowd, only occasionally taking the time to mock and berate them.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponent, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, weighing 227 pounds, ANTHONY ROYAL!
As he approaches the ring, he hops onto the ring apron, looking back at the crowd, smirking and shaking his head in disgust before entering the ring. He then climbs to the nearest turnbuckle and stares out into the crowd before hopping down and waiting for the match to begin.
vs.
Gabe and Royal lock up, with Royal kneeing Gabe in the gut. Royal tries lifting Gabe for a suplex but now Gabe knees Royal in the gut. Gabe runs off the ropes but is caught with a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker from Royal. Royal keeps Gabe grounded in a headlock, but Gabe manages to get to his feet and counters with a back suplex. Royal tries to get back in control with a clothesline, which Gabe ducks and swiftly counters with a STO Backbreaker into Neckbreaker. Gabe lifts Royal up for a Sidewalk Slam. Gabe runs to the ropes but Royal has popped back up to his feet and nails Gabe with a Spinning Heel Kick. Royal lifts Gabe up for a Vertical Suplex, then heads to the top rope where he dives off with a Moonsault. Royal gets two. Royal hits Gabe with a Step Up Enziguri, then takes him down with a Reverse DDT. Royal drives Gabe to the canvas with a German Suplex, bridging pin for a two count. Royal takes Gabe back to the mat with a Belly to Belly Suplex. Royal climbs the turnbuckles again, but this time Gabe is already back to his feet and gets Royal trapped in a tree of woe. Gabe gets some momentum before coming in with a Hesitation Dropkick. Gabe brings Royal out of the corner with an Exploder Suplex. Gabe kicks Royal in the gut before driving him face first to the mat with the Jersey Cutter (Twist of Fate). Gabe heads out to the apron and comes back in with I'm a Bird, Mother F**ker! (Springboard Leg Drop From Apron), getting two. Gabe drops Royal face first once more with a Junkyard Jam (Pedigree). Jack Adams has come back down and climbs onto the apron, which is why Shane Gates is not counting the pinfall. Gabe goes to approach Jack but he's already hopped off the apron. When Gabe brings his attention back to the match, he's dropped with a Royal Mutilation (Shelton Benjamin’s “Pay Dirt”)!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, ANTHONY ROYAL!
Mike Vincent: The distraction from Jack Adams allows Anthony Royal to defeat Gabe Shelley tonight.
Cole Haywood: I didn't see nothin', other than Anthony Royal becoming re-undefeated.
Mike Vincent: ..What?
Anthony Royal raises his hand in victory, before demanding a microphone.
Anthony Royal: This win tonight makes me 1-0, which means I am undefeated. Anything that happened prior to tonight is irrelevant. I am the face of this company and my record will not be tarnished.
Anthony drops the mic and turns around, to the fan's delight he gets whipped cream sprayed in his face by Bobo Sweetcakes! Bobo exits the ring and lifts the ring skirt, pulling out a tray with cakes on it. He hands out the cakes to the fans. Royal, embarrassed, wipes the cream from his face and goes to attack Bobo, but instead gets the cake tray slammed upside his head! For the second week Bobo leaves Royal embarrassed as we fade to commercial.

We open in the locker room of The Alliance Of Truth to a mixed reaction. Aries has the Domination trophy dead center in the room as Aries rallies the troops, around it.
Duncan Aries: “I don’t know about either of you, but it felt good, DAMN GOOD to take that piece of garbage to the ground.”
Jonathan Fhenix: “Couldn’t agree more.”
Android 18: “He asked for it.”
Duncan Aries: “Damn right he did. You see, as Domination, that was just step 1 in cleaning up this whole sham of a BWF/AXW working agreement. Heck, word has it the place is in the shitter anyways, and why?”
Jonathan Fhenix: “Because Luke Mathews ruins everything?”
Android 18: “Has a habit of doing that, doesn’t he?”
Duncan Aries: “And here we are, cleaning up HIS messes, and this is the thanks we get? 18, you get pushed aside while being THE force in women’s wrestling. Jon, now you truly know how I feel after getting screwed out of your AXW Xperience Title because Luke Mathews and Steve Corman don’t want you anywhere near the AXW Championship. And then there’s yours truly, a guy Corman had to TWICE try and fail to take out because he knows ONE ON ONE he can’t beat me.”
Jonathan Fhenix: “Maybe now he knows how it feels.”
Duncan Aries: “Eh, we’re still outCormaning the guy. At least we don’t lie like a cowardly piece of shit about the attack.”
Android 18: “We don’t lie about a damn thing.”
Jonathan Fhenix: “Nope, we just tell the truth, even if people want to hear it or not.”
Duncan Aries: “Let’s keep at it tonight, so that AXW knows that we’re sorry..not sorry.”
The trio shares a laugh and walks off, Aries carrying the Domination trophy with him as he goes.

‘War Machine’ begins to play, as the crowd rises to their feet. The song plays out with the white spots lights zooming around the arena until the 33 second mark when the drums kick in and Austin Graves steps out from the back, checking the black hockey tape on his wrists. Graves pays no attention to the crowd whether they boo or cheer him, and he’s focused like a laser beam on the task at hand. Rolling into the ring under the bottom rope, he rolls to his feet and walks over to the hard (tv) camera side of the ropes, placing both hands on the top ropes, pressing down on them slightly, staring coldly into the camera at first, then giving way to a cold, almost sick half smile as if to say, “I’m going to enjoy this…”
"When the lights go up and the game is on
Are you ready for me? 'Cause I'm ready for you
When the bell rings out and the fight is on
Are you ready for me? 'Cause I'm ready for you "
"Game On" by Disciple blares out as Justin Wyndham and TO'A aka Lethal Weapons comes out of the curtains
"When the lights go up and the game is on
Are you ready for me? 'Cause I'm ready for you
When the bell rings out and the fight is on
Are you ready for me? 'Cause I'm ready for you "
Justin bends down in one knee and looks at this imaginary watch, similar to CM Punk. TO'A is beside him with his signature towel drenched in blood and wrapped around his neck as he is looking down at the ground.
"It's time for us to start throwing down
Take a look and see who's standing now
It's time for us to start throwing down
Look and see who's standing now "
Justin does the cutthroat before getting up. Justin runs full speed to the ring and then around the ring, hyping up the fans while TO'A slowly makes his way down the ring, still not showing his face. Justin then slides into the ring and then bang his head to the nearest turnbuckle, hyping himself up before looking back at the crowd with a sick smile as TO'A walks up the steel steps and enters the ring. Justin then climbs at the turnbuckle and does the cuthroat sign before getting off while TO'A throws his towel on the mat and does a battle cry before the theme fades
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next Handicap contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the AXW Tag Team Championships! Introducing the challenger, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing 245 pounds, AUSTIN "WAR MACHINE" GRAVES!
Austin is in his corner, looking ready to kill.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponents, at a combined weight of 490 pounds, they are the defending AXW Tag Team Champions, "World Warrior" Justin Wyndham and "Samoan Executioner" TO'A, LETHAL WEAPONS!
Lethal Weapons raise their championships high, before handing them off to referee Jessie McCormick.
vs.
Graves locks up with Wyndham. The bigger Graves backs Wyndham to the corner where he unloads on him with punches, forearms, elbows, whatever he can muster in in the 4.9 seconds. Austin sends Justin to the opposite corner, and barrels in with a big corner clothesline. Justin slumps down which Austin utilizes the opportunity to come back in with a Cannonball Corner Senton. Austin slams Justin to the mat with Grave Robber (Scoop lift spun out into an over the shoulder back to belly piledriver), which gets two before Justin kicks out. Austin follows up with Grave Breaker [Pump-Handle Neckbreaker (Across Knee)], another two count. Austin hoists Justin onto his shoulders, but Justin elbows himself free and takes Austin off his feet with a DDT. Justin tags out to TO'A who comes in, taking Austin down with a series of clotheslines. TO'A lifts Austin onto his shoulders and plants him with a Samoan Drop. TO'A delivers the Samoan Elbow (Feint leg drop transitioned into an elbow drop to the opponent's chest). TO'A connects with the Toa-Plex(German suplex followed into a dragon suplex and finished with an X-Plex), Austin managing to kick out of the bridging cover. TO'A bounces off the ropes only to be rocked with Out of No-Where (Superkick)! Austin locks TO'A in a cravate, before bringing him to the mat with a cutter. Austins stands up and the Tampa crowd is cheering, no for him, but for the Tampa native Ryan Starr perched on the top rope, diving off delivering Burning Flames (Diving somersault neckbreaker) to Austin!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Your winner by disqualification, Austin Graves! However still AXW Tag Team Champions, Lethal Weapons!
Mike Vincent: Austin Graves was actually doing well on his own, but his former partner Ryan Starr gets some revenge.
Cole Haywood: What a sore loser Ryan Starr is, he's the reason War Horse are no longer, now he's preventing Austin Graves from being the first person to hold the tag titles by himself.
Lethal Weapons leave ringside as this is none of their business. Ryan doesn't stop there, he now locks Austin in Code Red (Cross-legged triangle choke), kicking Austin in the head repeatedly in the process! Officials come down to separate the two. Austin is evacuated from the ring while Ryan gets his hometown crowd pumped up.

We're in the Steve Corman Guys locker room. Steve is dressed casually, holding his gut.
Jack Adams: You alright, boss?
Steve Corman: I'm fine. My grandma used to give me worse beatings than those chumps. The docs say I won't be cleared to compete for a few weeks, and you know what, I'm fine with that. I'll get my championship bonus while not having to compete, sweet deal for me. But, regardless, there will be retribution.
Damien Steele: Of course there will be, that was uncalled for. Just because we happened to be in the area doesn't mean we were the ones to attack Duncan. Fhenix on the other hand, I knocked his ass out cold in the middle of the ring, that I'll take credit for.
Jack Adams: Duncan Aries probably slipped on a banana peel and screwed his brain up worse than it already was. That ain't our fault.
Steve Corman: Duncan and the rest of them are simply jealous that they are beneath us. No matter how hard they try, we will always be on top.
Steve holds his fist out. Damien and Jack place their on top of one another, before we return to commercials.
September 10
“S-P-I-R-I-T
Spirit!! Let’s hear it!!
S-P-I-R-I-T
Spirit!! Let’s hear it!!”
Blue strobe lights roams around the arena like a trance as the opening tune of "Happy Song” by Bring Me The Horizon blares out of the PA system.
“LET’S GO!”
Out comes Janet Hurricane, her hoodie veil blinding her face. As the tempo gets faster and faster, we see her jumping up and down, still cannot see her face. Once we hear the lyrics, Janet reveals her face to the crowd and starts shadowing punching and kicking, feeling the energy of her theme song. She then starts walking her way to the ring, bopping her head to the music and in her own zone, not giving a damn about the fans’ reaction.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is scheduled for one fall, and is to determine the Number One Contender to the AXW Women's Championship! Introducing first, from Charlotte, North Caroline, weighing 120 pounds, she is "The Queen of the Ravenous Generation" JANET HURRICANE!
Once she enters the ring, she takes off her hoodie and does a couple of shadow boxing, again feeling the energy of the music before it fades.
The lights in the arena all turn to red, with the fans in anticipation for whats about to come. After a few seconds of this, "Megitsune" by BABYMETAL takes over the sound system.
As soon as the song plays, the red lights pulse to the beat of the drums with a figure standing in smoke, wearing a robe and a kitsune mask. At the seven second mark of the song, the figure begins to slowly make their way down the ramp. At the fourteen second mark of the song, the figure disrobes and removes their kitsune mask, now walking to the ring at a quicker pace.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Her opponent, from Hiroshima, Japan, weighing 112 pounds, "Megitsune" KATSUKO NAKAMOTO!
Katsuko makes her way up the steps and hops onto the middle turnbuckle, raising both hands into the air, doing the kitsune hand sign. She steps onto the top rope and front flips into the ring. She walks to her corner and throws strikes at the turnbuckles before her music fades out.
vs.
#1 Contendership
The two women lock up, with Janet getting Katsuko in a side headlock, followed by the takedown, keeping the headlock applied. Katsuko manages to get Janet in a headscissors, which breaks the headlock. Janet manages to get on her feet, and lifts Katsuko off the mat, but Katsuko takes Janet down with a hurricanrana. Janet gets back up and tries to get on offense but is taken down with a Japanese Arm Drag, which is followed by a Fujiwara Armbar. Janet manages to reach her foot on to the bottom rope. Janet uses the ropes to help herself up and back drops Katsuko out to the floor when she approaches her. Janet goes out to continue the attack. Janet lifts Katsuko for a suplex and ends up dropping her gut first on the barricade. Katsuko is hung there before getting kneed in the head by Janet. Katsuko slumps down to the floor while Janet enters the ring, looking to take a count out victory. Katsuko gets back in at the count of sixteen. Janet immediately gets Katsuko trapped in the ropes, before planting her with the Cry of Terror(Rope-hung DDT). Janet lifts Katsuko up for a Spinning backbreaker. Janet heads to the top rope where she leaps off with a Last Breath of Air (Diving elbow drop), earning a two count. Janet runs off the ropes and is rocked by a Sudden Stiff Clothesline from Katsuko. Katsuko gets back on offense bringing Janet to the mat with a Snap Fisherman Neckbreaker. Katsuko slams Janet down with a Dragon Suplex. Janet lands near the corner and slowly uses the corner to help herself up, where she is then nailed by Crescent Moon (Running Curved Corner Yakuza Kick)! Katsuko throws Janet down to the mat and ascends the turnbuckles herself, one-upping Janet by delivering a Hātosutoppā (Kairi Hojo-style Diving Elbow Drop)! Janet barely kicks out at two. At this time, Hailey Harris enters the ring, where she pokes referee Gus Ramos in the eye, Gus being forced to call for the bell.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Ladies and gentlemen, this match has been ruled a no contest!
Mike Vincent: We were having a great match until Hailey Harris came and ruined it.
Cole Haywood: If no one wins then Hailey doesn't have to defend the title against anyone, it's a win win for her.
Hailey immediately exits the ring. Katsuko is yelling something at her, before Katsuko falls to the mat courtesy of Wrath of the Hurricane (Maryse’s Heel Kick) from Janet. Janet looks at Hailey leaving, and ghost-belts, signalling it's only a matter of time.

We open with a shot of a suburban area somewhere in America, as The Nintendudes sit on the sidewalk, Link Zapper playing with a yo-yo as Mac Icarus reads the newspaper.
Link Zapper: “Good day, people of AXW! It has come to our attention that there just hasn’t been a lot of talk about your pals, The Nintendudes, in the AXW tag team division as of late, and we realize, perhaps the AXW execs don’t think we’re taking our jobs seriously, which couldn’t be any further from the truth!”
Mac leans over from reading the paper.
Mac Icarus: “If I wasn’t serious about my job, I’d be looking in the classifieds section, not the editorials! And besides, we do Mike Tyson’s Punch Out style training montages every day, complete with our highly African American personal trainer!”
Link looks over at Mac, who just shrugs and goes back to reading the paper.
Link Zapper: “Just know that nothing is going to stop us from reaching the top of the tag division, because by life or by death, there’s no stopping power..NINTENDUDES POWER!”
Just then a shadow looms over the pair, as they turn and see The Grim Reaper, who looks to be descending on their souls before Mac chucks a newspaper at his feet, freezing him in place.
Mac Icarus: “It really works!”
The two dart off, as The Grim Reaper reaches down and picks up the paper, opening it to the funnies and actually starts laughing as we fade to black.

"Dammit" plays and out walk Sam De Santa and Trent Mathews. Sam stops on the stage and places her hand on her hip. Trent steps in front of her and drops to his knees, extending his arms out as pyro rains down behind them. Once the pyro stops, Trent stands up and the two make their way down the ramp.
Trent slides into the ring while Sam walks up the steps. Trent steps onto the middle turnbuckle, looking around at the fans. Sam stands in the ring, extending her arms towards Trent, as if telling the fans to bas in the glory that is Trent Mathews. Trent steps down and holds his arms back, allowing Sam to remove his leather jacket. Sam steps out to the apron, hangs the jacket from the ring post, and walks down the steps, while Trent readies himself for the match.
"Remedy" by Seether plays of the P.A. system as the camera pans over the arena stopping at the entrance way as Danny Hall, sporting a fur vest, strolls down to the ring stopping sometimes to yell at children, then when he gets to the ring he rolls under the bottom rope to sit in the corner then he stands up.....in the corner.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This is your Main Event scheduled for one fall, and is for the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, accompanied to the ring by Sam De Santa, from Owasco, New York, weighing in at 217 pounds, TRENT MATHEWS!
Trent raises his fists into the air.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponent, from Camden, Tennessee, weighing in at 220 pounds, he is the defending AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, as well as the current BWF Chaos Theory Champion, he is "Mr. Most Hated" DANNY HALL!
Danny raises his titles into the air, as confident as ever.
vs.
Danny looks to lock up with Trent, but Trent steps backwards before ducking through the ropes. This allows Trent to get a cheap kick in to the gut of Danny. Trent follows up with a Scissor Kick. Trent picks Danny up and slams him with a Pumphandle Drop. Trent sends Danny to the corner and delivers a Swinging Corner Clothesline. Trent stays out and enters the ring with a Springboard Clothesline, getting a two count. Trent sets Danny up in a Double Underhook position, but Danny escapes it and takes Trent down with a Double-Arm DDT. Trent starts to get up only to be hit with a Kick to Side of Head. Danny runs the ropes and nails Trent with a Running Knee, then keeps running where he clobbers Trent with a Clothesline From Hall(Clotheline from Hell). Trent manages to kick out at two. Danny lifts Trent up for a Release Powerbomb, then heads to the top rope. A distraction from Sam De Santa is enough for Trent to get back to his feet and meet Danny on the top rope, and takes Danny to the mat with a Spider Superplex. Trent now dives off the top rope with Trent's Twist (A corkscrew senton). Trent is waiting for Danny to get in position then charges in for Trentsetter (Shining Wizard to the Back of the head), but Danny must snes it coming and manages to duck it. Danny hits Trent with a Shot Heard Round The World(Superkick), and then follows that up with Halls Frozen Over(Canadian Destroyer)! Danny covers but somehow Trent finds a way to kick out. Trent is then locked in the Paradox(Crossface Chickenwing)! Trent is struggling, but Sam helps him by placing his foot on the rope. Senior Official Matt Baker sees this, and thus ejects Sam from ringside. Sam reluctantly leaves, Danny waving to her on her way out. Danny now whips Trent to the ropes where Trent springboards off them, catching Danny with the Altrentative (Springboard, sometimes diving, cutter). Trent hooks Danny's leg.
One!
Two!
Three!
No! Danny kicks out.
Trent stays on the attack as he pummels away at the downed Danny. Trent lifts Danny up for a Double Underhook Backbreaker. Trent then locks Danny in a Camel Clutch! Danny is in agony and slowly manages to drag the two towards the ropes. Trent breaks the hold before he gets there and executes a T-Bone Suplex. Danny finds himself slumped in the corner where Trent comes in with a Running Face Wash. Trent lifts Danny up for a Brainbuster, then ascends to the high rent district. Trent jumps off with Etrentity (Phoenix Splash), and this one is all over. Except it isn't, because Danny got his knees up. The two slowly get to their feet, and it's Danny who suddenly hoists Trent up before slamming him to the canvas with a Hallway to Hell (Roode Bomb)!
One!
Two!
Three!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, and STILL the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, DANNY HALL!
Mike Vincent: Danny Hall is still the champion after an incredible match here, this guy just gets better and better.
Cole Haywood: That wouldn't be the story if Matt Baker hadn't unfairly ejected Sam De Santa. You don't see Gary Kubiak or Bill Belichick getting thrown out of the stadium when their teams play.
Baker raises the hand of Hall who raises his titles high. He takes the time to climb all the turnbuckles, showing off all of his gold.
Mike Vincent: Another great week of AXW action in the books, we'll see you next week!
