Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico
Episode XLIX
Pyro blasts from the stage and Alternatron before cameras pan across the crowd.
Mike Vincent: Night one of our Mexico tour comes to you from Monterrey. In tonight's Main Event we will see an Anarchy rematch as Steve Corman defends the AXW Championship against Duncan Aries, with Malcolm M. Mitchell barred from interfering. You're watching AXW, I'm Mike Vincent joined by Cole Haywood.
Cole Haywood: Also on the line tonight is the Xperience Championship as Bruiser Lazzou defends against AXW Tag Team Champion TO'A. Big night in store, so let's get it underway.
PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT!
The lights in the arena all cut to black and the Tron comes to life, pulsating with a green light as a quiet beat gets louder with every flash. It gets faster and faster, and louder with each pulse, until the pulsating light explodes into the words "Blazenwing Rises" and “The Phoenix” by Fall Out Boy blares across the arena sound system.
You are a brick tied to me that's dragging me down
Strike a match and I'll burn you to the ground
We are the jack-o-lanterns in July
Setting fire to the sky
He-here comes this rising tide
So come on
PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT!
The stage fills with smoke and the crowd rises to their feet, cheering loudly, as the smoke clears on the stage and a man in a dark green trenchcoat stands, head down, facing the Tron. He raises his hands and snaps his fingers, causing four loud bursts of pyro to ignite, two on each side of him, before spinning around Y2J style to reveal David Slayton!
Salvatore Pellegrino: This tag team contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing the first team of Tru Revolution, first, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, weighing in at 245 pounds, here is "The New Hotness" DAVID SLAYTON!
Cross walks and crossed hearts and hope-to-dies
Silver clouds with grey linings
So we can take the world back from the heart-attacked
One maniac at a time we will take it back
You know time crawls on when you're waiting for the song to start
So dance alone to the beat of your heart
His sunglasses shining with the glare from the arena lights, David looks to the left, then to the right, nodding towards the crowd before walking down the ramp. After stopping to slap hands with a few fans, David moves towards the ring steps and hops up and down a few times in front of them before quickly racing up the steps to the apron side facing the stage. He stops and pulls his sunglasses off, then tosses them behind his head into the crowd before leaning down and stepping through the ropes to enter the ring.
Hey young blood
Doesn't it feel like our time is running out?
I'm gonna change you like a remix
Then I'll raise you like a phoenix
You're wearing our vintage misery
No, I think it looked a little better on me
I'm gonna change you like a remix
Then I'll raise you like a phoenix
David walks across the ring and leaps up onto the second rope in the corner nearest the timekeeper, then pulls off his green trenchcoat and tosses it towards the timekeeper. David smirks and points to the fans, then slaps his chest a few times and points up towards the sky, closing his eyes and saying a short prayer. David leaps down from the corner and immediately turns to sit down in the same corner, ala Raven. David then rests his head on the second turnbuckle pad as his theme fades and the crowd continues cheering.
The opening chords of "The Right Direction" by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus rolls throughout the arena. There’s a fountain of pyro at the three second mark as the song hits. Three spotlights shine and revolve around as if searching for someone, and the fans are on their feet, cheering in anticipation for the hero they know is coming. At the seven second mark, the hooded figure steps from behind the curtain and through the pyro looking down. The song builds to the fourteen second mark as he throws his hood back and arms out, fired up, as there’s a loud pop of orange and white pyro from the stage. Gabe Shelley responds to the cheers of the fans by pounding his chest and pointing out to them. The fans are positively crazy about Gabe. He begins to make his way to the ring and is sure to tap hands of fans on the ramp.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And from Columbus, Ohio, weighing 220 pounds, he is "the reVolution" GABE SHELLEY!
I will never understand the path you chose
Chemical parasitic waste inside your bowels
So wrap it up while you still can
While you got the offer in
I just can't believe
That you'd throw it all away
Now you falsely return today
As you're falling on your face
Shelley makes his way up the steel steps and jumps to the second turnbuckle and looks around the arena with a smile on his face. He jumps into the ring as his hood comes back up, landing on his feet. He goes to the middle of the ropes ropes facing camera side and jumps to the second one. He flips the hood back once again and makes finger guns at the camera and fires with a wink.
"Too Drunk to Fuck" by the Dead Kennedys kicks in as a smirking Jack Adams comes jogging out from the back. He looks at the crowd, laughing to himself as he walks to the ring, all the while Adams is goading the fans and prevoking them, daring them to punch him, before feigning punching them himself. Generally, just being a bully.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Introducing the team of The Steve Corman Guys, first, from Fort Payne, Alabama, weighing 230 pounds, he is "The Last Real Man" JACK ADAMS!
Adams slides into the ring and being the dick he is, just yells to the hard camera "LAST REAL MAN ALIVE!"
The lights all go out and "Miseria Cantare" by AFI starts as a single spotlight shines on the entrance as Damien Steele is standing in the entrance hair in front of his face as at the 45 second mark of the song. Damien flips his hair back and starts to walk down to the ring, as the words of the song start.
LOVE... YOUR HATE...
Damien Steele makes no connection to any fans that might be throwing insults his way, almost as if he is only focused on the ring, and more specifically his opponent.
YOUR... FAITH LOST...
Salvatore Pellegrino: And from Chicago, Illinois, weighing 221 pounds, he is "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE!
Steele reaches the ring as he walks around to the steps.
YOU... ARE NOW...
Damien waits at the bottom of the steps keeping his eyes on his opponent.
ONE... OF US...
A wicked smile comes across his face as the words of the song repeat again just a little bit faster this time.
LOVE... YOUR HATE... YOUR... FAITH LOST... YOU... ARE NOW... ONE... OF US...
Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent till he reaches the top step and wipes his feet before entering the ring never taking his eyes off his opponent.
vs.
Shelley and Steele begin the match, furiously trading blows. Shelley gains the edge and wraps Steele up for a belly to back suplex! He locks in an armbreaker, but Steele fights to his feet, shoves Shelley into the ropes, and hits a dropkick on him. Steele beats Shelley to his feet and hits a northern lights suplex, then a pin and kickout. Steele tags in Adams, starts with some knife edge chops before a delayed suplex. Then, a running low knee to the breadbasket, before pulling Shelley up for a guillotine neckbreaker. Adams wrenches in a headlock. After a while, Shelley fights back and out of it, lifting Adams off the ground for a sidewalk slam! The two men are down in the middle of the ring and the race to each corner begins, with Shelley winning! In comes Slayton, with Steele just a second too late, and Slayton takes him down with a running forearm strike, then a short-arm clothesline! Adams tries to intervene, but Slayton lifts him up for a Samoan drop and connects with it! Steele is back up, but when he tries to attack Slayton, it’s much of the same: Slayton ducks his right and then counters Steele with an exploder suplex! Slayton plays it up to the crowd, then grabs Steele, only for Adams to attack from the side! The ref tries to pull Adams off and Steele pokes Slayton in the eye. Shelley, seeing this, enters the ring himself, and the ref immediately looks to stop him. Steele delivers a devastating low blow. Slayton is keeled over, and Steele, to his feet, hits him with the Loony Stomp (Blackout)! The pin comes in, while Adams, who had snuck up behind Shelley, grabs him by the legs to keep him occupied. 1, 2, 3!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here are your winners, THE STEVE CORMAN GUYS!
Mike Vincent: I'll admit that Steele and Adams are great athletes, but I don't understand why they need to resort to underhanded tactics so often.
Cole Haywood: I didn't see nothin' other than Damien Steele once again pinning a former AXW Champion.
Adams and Steele exit the ring, holding up each other's hands as they back up the ramp. Shelley checks on Slayton and tries to inform the referee what happened, but to no avail.

We cut to the interview set where Gina Furlow is standing by with Sam De Santa.
Gina Furlow: Ladies and gentlemen I'm joined by Sam De Santa. Sam, a lot of tension right now with you and your client Trent Mathews. You said at anarchy that you will not allow Trent to compete until the two of you come up with a game plan. Has any progress been made?
Sam De Santa: Little. I don't wanna give any details away, but we've got some ideas brewing.
Gina Furlow: When can we expect the new plans for Trent to come to fruition so he can compete again?
Sam De Santa: If things go smoothly, hopefully by next week, but I won't promise that.
Gina Furlow: So there's nothing you wish to share about the new plan for Trent?
Sam De Santa: I will say that we're keeping a close watch on every division. Light Heavyweight, Xperience, Tag Team, AXW Championship. We're coming up with multiple ideas for each division and we're going to decide out of all of those which will be the best for Trent. And if that winning plan doesn't work, he's on his own.
Gina Furlow: Thanks for the interview, Sam, let's throw it back to ringside.

"Hear Me Now" plays throughout the arena and Malcolm M. Mitchell makes his way to the stage. He takes a moment to taunt, throwing shadow punches, then runs his hands through his hair and flicks the water off his hands, keeping his arms spread with his head up, soaking in the reaction from the crowd.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next tag team contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from Riviera Beach, Florida, weighing 214 pounds, MALCOLM M. MITCHELL!
He walks down to the ring with confidence in every step. Malcolm enters the ring, climbs to the second turnbuckle, and does the same taunt he did on the stage.
"Path vol II" echoes across the arena. Destiny appears in the stands schmoozing with a few of the fans while she makes her way down the steps. She slaps hands with the fans along the way while approaching the barricade and finally climbing atop it.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His partner, from Kansas City, Missouri, weighing 123 pounds, DESTINY MAVERICK!
Lifting her hands into the air, she pumps the crowd for a larger reaction. Off the barricade, Destiny climbs up onto the ring apron and then the top turnbuckle. Once more pumping the crowd before back flipping into the ring.
"Invincible" by Amaranthe hits, the fast pounding drums blaring loudly from the speakers as the lights dim completely. They come back to Android 18 standing at the entrance ramp, head down, the words 'The code awakens me' flash along the Alternatron behind her as she opens her eyes and brings her head up slowly. She walks stoically down the ramp, a smirk spreading over her face as she goes. She stops in the middle of the ramp, raising her hands to actually sign the words 'I am Invincible.'
Salvatore Pellegrino: Their opponents are representing The Alliance of Truth, first, from Cork, Ireland, weighing 135 pounds, ANDROID 18!
Before continuing on and leaping straight up onto the ring post, she signs ''I am Invincible' one more time, entering the ring and awaiting the match to start.
As Daniel Licht’s “Hide Your Tears” opens with a sweet Spanish guitar lick, the lights dim into a golden hue, as elegant script spelling out “The Tragic Hero” flashes over the video wall. Fhenix emerges, his back to us, clad in a golden wrestling robe. He turns as the song gets a bit darker and heavier in tone, golden pyros raining down behind him as he poses, arms outstretched with a smirk.
Salvatore Pellegrino: From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing 240 pounds, "The Tragic Hero" JONATHAN FHENIX!
He walks to the ring with smooth confidence, entering the ring and scaling a turnbuckle, actually cupping an ear and egging on the crowd for more hatred before leaping off with a sinister smirk, which slowly turns into an eerily focused, stern glance, a mastermind considering strategy before his match begins, his music fading out.
vs.
Fhenix immediately charges Mitchell, catches him off guard, and takes him down, delivering a flurry of punches before yanking him back to his feet for a stalling brainbuster! Fhenix quickly tags in Android 18. She hits a Graceful Orbit (Lionsault) on Mitchell, followed by a pin, but only gets a one count. She whips Mitchell into the corner and hits him with a leaping clothesline, then throws him to the ground in the middle of the ring and makes the tag. Fhenix climbs the ropes for a second-rope elbow drop, but Mitchell is able to roll out of the way! Fhenix is unable to stop Mitchell from making the tag and Destiny comes in with a sliding dropkick to Fhenix, pops to her feet, and delivers a couple of soccer kicks to his gut! Fhenix is down and clearly in pain and Destiny decides it is time to try her finisher! Fhenix is still down when she launches for the Fiery Illusion (Swandive elbow drop), but he gets his knees up! Promptly after the counter, he tags in Android 18, and she delivers a Super Electric Strike (striking spear) to Destiny! Mitchell tries to blindside her, but Android responds with a mule kick, which sends Mitchell tumbling through the middle rope! Destiny makes it back to her feet, but not for long, as Android 18 delivers the Power Blitz (Bionic Elbow) directly to her temple! The pin comes in, uncontested, for the three count!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here are your winners, THE ALLIANCE OF TRUTH!
Mike Vincent: Android 18 gets an emphatic win for the Alliance of Truth tonight.
Cole Haywood: The Alliance of Truth are a well functioned unit. Malcolm and Destiny have probably never even had a conversation before tonight. This is what happens when you mess with AoT.
Fhenix applauds A18 and raises her arm. Malcolm tries to get back in the ring but receives a Power Blitz from A18, causing him to fall right back out to the floor. They eliminate Destiny from the ring, AoT stands tall tonight.

We return from commercials where Craig Brooks approaches Danny Hall.
Danny Hall: If you're gonna try to show me another stupid trick I'm just gonna walk away right now.
Craig Brooks: We'll get to that, but first, I do have some questions. Do you plan on continuing to defend your title against anyone like you did earlier on The Alternative?
Danny Hall: Yes. It all goes back to what I said earlier tonight. I'm not gonna repeat myself, so if you missed what I said, then go back and watch The Alternative. Go and watch me beat Ben Eatr. I'll do it again next week too, against anyone.
Craig Brooks: Who is eligible?
Danny Hall: Anyone 225 pounds or under. I don't care if you're signed to AXW or not, I'll beat anyone that steps into that ring, because I am not only the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, I'm the Light Heavyweight Champion of the WORLD.
Craig Brooks: I am still willing to step up, as I've said I am a man of many skills, and I will continue to demonstrate that.
A giant box is wheeled into frame. Someone hands Craig a saw.
Craig Brooks: If you step into this box here, I will saw you in half.
Danny Hall: Yeah, that's not happening.
Danny walks away.
Craig Brooks: What? You're not really gonna get sawed in half! It's just an illusion! Let me try the milk thing again!
Craig walks off after him and we head to ringside.

Hailey Harris is seated at commentary.
“S-P-I-R-I-T
Spirit!! Let’s hear it!!
S-P-I-R-I-T
Spirit!! Let’s hear it!!”
Blue strobe lights roams around the arena like a trance as the opening tune of "Happy Song” by Bring Me The Horizon blares out of the PA system.
“LET’S GO!”
Out comes Janet Hurricane, her hoodie veil blinding her face. As the tempo gets faster and faster, we see her jumping up and down, still cannot see her face. Once we hear the lyrics, Janet reveals her face to the crowd and starts shadowing punching and kicking, feeling the energy of her theme song. She then starts walking her way to the ring, bopping her head to the music and in her own zone, not giving a damn about the fans’ reaction.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is scheduled for one fall, and is to determine the Number One Contender for the AXW Women's Championship! Introducing first, from Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing 120 pounds, she is "The Queen of the Ravenous Generation" JANET HURRICANE!
Once she enters the ring, she takes off her hoodie and does a couple of shadow boxing, again feeling the energy of the music before it fades.
The lights in the arena all turn to red, with the fans in anticipation for whats about to come. After a few seconds of this, "Megitsune" by BABYMETAL takes over the sound system.
As soon as the song plays, the red lights pulse to the beat of the drums with a figure standing in smoke, wearing a robe and a kitsune mask. At the seven second mark of the song, the figure begins to slowly make their way down the ramp. At the fourteen second mark of the song, the figure disrobes and removes their kitsune mask, now walking to the ring at a quicker pace.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Her opponent, from Hiroshima, Japan, weighing 112 pounds, "Megitsune" KATSUKO NAKAMOTO!
Katsuko makes her way up the steps and hops onto the middle turnbuckle, raising both hands into the air, doing the kitsune hand sign. She steps onto the top rope and front flips into the ring. She walks to her corner and throws strikes at the turnbuckles before her music fades out.
vs.
#1 Contendership
The two lock up with the larger Janet getting Katsuko backed into the corner. Janet hits Katsuko with a number of chops, until Katsuko turns the tables and corners Janet. Katsuko unloads with a flurry of strikes, punches, kicks, knees, whatever she can throw in under five seconds. Katsuko brings Janet out and nails her with a Spinning Back Kick. Katsuko throws Janet to the mat with a Butterfly Suplex. Katsuko gets a two count. Katsuko delivers fierce Knee Strikes to the gut of Katsuko, and takes her down with a Snap Fisherman Neckbreaker. Janet kicks out at two. Katsuko whips Janet to the ropes and doubles down for a back body drop, Janet stopping to kicks her. Janet runs back off the ropes, ducks a clothesline, and nails Katsuko with a Running Knee lift. Janet slams Katsuko with a Snap Suplex. Katsuko gets back up to her feet and is takenn down with a DDT. Janet heads to the apron and climbs the turnbuckles, coming off with a Missile Dropkick. Katsuko ends up in the ropes as Janet plants her with a Cry of Terror(Rope-hung DDT). Janet shoots the half to get two. Janet runs back off the ropes and falls victim to a Sudden Stiff Clothesline. Janet is whipped to the ropes and taken down with a Japanese Arm Drag. Katsuko grabs the arm of Janet and delivers a Double Knee Armbreaker. Katsuko attempts to lock in a Fujiwara Armbar but Janet manages to scurry to the ropes. Janet uses the ropes to help herself up and catches Katsuko with a back elbow. Janet looks to get back on the attack and is nearly knocked out by a Roundhouse Kick! Katsuko heads to the high rent district and dives off with Hātosutoppā (Kairi Hojo-style Diving Elbow Drop), Janet barely managing to kick out before three. Janet crawls to the corner to help herself up. Katsuko rushes in for Crescent Moon (Running Curved Corner Yakuza Kick), but Janet just manages to side step. Janet rolls Katsuko up but she just manages to get the shoulder up. Janet stays on offense taking Katsuko to the canvas with Tropical Storm (Forward Russian Legsweep). Janet climbs the turnbuckles once more, but this time Katsuko hits her with a rope assisted Enziguiri as she gets to the top. Katsuko climbs up with her, and looks to hit her finisher, Ue Kara Shi (Superplex, flowed into a sit-out Falcon Arrow)! She is able to connect with the superplex, but Janet intertwines her leg with Katsuko's to prevent the Falcon Arrow. Janet quickly hooks the leg to deliver Storm of the Century(Fisherman Suplex, without letting go of her opponent. Then she gets up, still having her opponent on a fisherman position before hitting the Fisherman Brainbuster)! Janet hooks the inside leg, and this one is over.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, JANET HURRICANE!
Mike Vincent: Another great match between these two, and it's Janet Hurricane who punches her ticket to meet you for the Women's Championship, Hailey.
Hailey Harris: Good for her, she beat someone who has two months experience. Time and time again I prove that neither of these two have what it takes to beat me.
Cole Haywood: The title match will take place next week at AXW 50, I'd wish you luck champ, but we all know you don't need it.
"Happy Song" plays throughout the arena as Janet Hurricane celebrates. She makes it known to Hailey that she intends to take the Women's Championship. Hailey just rolls her eyes as she leaves the arena.

Max Kilburne is at the interview set.
Max Kilburne: I'm joined by Anthony Royal. Anthony, how are you feeling after your win at Anarchy?
Anthony Royal: I feel good. I'd go as far as saying that win was sweet.
Anthony laughs.
Anthony Royal: I showed the world that Bogo Chreamcheese or whatever his dumb name is is not on the level of Anthony Royal. He tried to make his AXW return at my expense, and at Anarchy, he learned that that was a mistake.
Max Kilburne: If Bobo were to request a rematch, would you grant him one?
Anthony Royal: I don't see why I would. My immediate response would be no, but as I think about it, I could easily beat him again, and again, and again, in fact, I could start a new winning streak at his expense, and there wouldn't be anything he could do about it.
Royal walks off and we head to commercial.
UPCOMING MAJOR BWF NETWORK EVENTS
Saturday, November 12
"Second Sucks" by A Day to Remember plays and out walks Toa with the towel, drenched in blood, wrapped around his neck. He is staring down on the ground and listening to the boos and cheers coming from the fans.
"FIGHT"
Once he hears the opening line, he starts walking down the ramp, still not showing his face. When he walks up the steel steps and enters the ring, he throws the towel on the ground and does a battle cry.
"Code Red" by Nonpoint blares as a red light shines down on the ramp, flashing and flickering as Bruiser Lazzou emerges to a chorus of boos in a black singlet with a red hazard symbol on it, cracking his knuckles and then slapping his face, roaring and then pounding his chest before heading to the ring, yelling "OPEN FOR BUSINESS!" to fans, some of the younger ones still so traumatized by this once beloved hero. He enters the ring and runs the ropes, stomping his feet like a bull and roaring once again with his arms extended and his head tilted back, roaring once more as his music fades out.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the AXW Xperience Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, representing Lethal Weapons, from the Isle of Samoa, weighing in at 280 pounds, he is one half of the AXW Tag Team Champions, "Samoan Executioner" TO'A!
TO'A has an intense look on his face as he raises his AXW Tag Team Championship, looking to add a second title to his current collection.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponent, from Augusta, Maine, weighing in at 325 pounds, he is the defending AXW Xperience Champion, BRUISER LAZZOU!
Bruiser raises his title up, still confident as ever that he's leaving with it.
vs.
The two big men get face to face. The first shot is by TO'A, who delivers a hard headbutt. TO'A continues with jabs to Lazzou, backing him to the ropes. TO'A runs the opposing ropes and clotheslines the big Bruiser out of the ring. TO'A runs back off the ropes and leaps out of the ring with an Elbow Suicida (Suicide dive transitioned into a flying forearm smash). TO'A slides Lazzou back in the ring. TO'A also enters the ring and Lazzou throws hard fists. Lazzou lifts TO'A off his feet for a scoop slam. TO'A is back up and gets floored by a strong style lariat. Lazzou covers and gets one. Lazzou irish whips TO'A to the corner. Lazzou runs in and TO'A side steps, and nails Lazzou with an Executioner (Jumping twisting enzuigiri while facing away from a cornered opponent). Lazzou drops to a seated position allowing TO'A to deliver a Samoan Wrecking Ball (Running hip attack to the head of an opponent seated in the corner with theatrics). TO'A covers and gets one. TO'A lifts Lazzou to his feet where Lazzou hits TO'A in the gut with some elbows before delivering a strong short arm clothesline. TO'A is back up and is lifted up for a spinebuster. Lazzou bounces off the ropes before jumping up for Bruising Bodies (Big Splash). Lazzou gets two on the pin attempt. Lazzou clubs TO'A in the back several times, and manages to hoist him up for a running powerslam. Lazzou climbs the turnbuckles and dives off for a Maine Moonsault (Top Rope Vader Style Moonsault). Lazzou hooks a leg and still gets two. When Lazzou brings TO'A to his feet, TO'A picks Lazzou up for an Inverted atomic drop followed by a running single leg dropkick and finished with a running senton. When this gets TO'A two, TO'A lifts the champion onto his shoulders and slams him with a Samoan Drop! TO'A follows that up with a Samoan Elbow (Feint leg drop transitioned into an elbow drop to the opponent's chest), and gets another two count. This is as far as the match gets, as The Push have entered the ring and hammer away at TO'A with steel chairs.
Mike Vincent: This match has just been ruined by The Push! They cost TO'A a chance of leaving as AXW Xperience Champion.
Cole Haywood: TO'A didn't stand any chance, Lazzou dominated every opponent he stepped in the ring with and TO'A would be no exception.
The Push continue their attack on TO'A. This is none of Bruiser Lazzou's business, so like always, he takes his championship and heads to the back. Justin Wyndham sprints to the ring to come to his partner's aid. Jimmy swings the chair at Justin and Justin ducks it, and hits Jimmy with the World's Most Wanted(Steve Vick' like Superkick). Timmy decides to get out of the ring and drags Jimmy out with him. Justin checks on TO'A as we head backstage.

Brad Adams is trying to catch up with an irate Austin Graves.
Brad Adams: Austin, I'd just like to--
Austin forcefully slams Brad against the wall. Austin presses his hand against the side of Brad's face, pinning him against the wall. Austin is nearly foaming at the mouth.
Austin Graves: If you see Ryan Starr, you better ask that motherfucker if he wants to be buried or cremated.
Austin lets go and storms off. Brad falls to the floor in pain.

The arena lights descend to darkness, as the tron displays an old black and white vision of an apocalyptic scene, as within a broken building we hear the crackle and zap of electricity, pulses of computers, as there, standing before the rubble is a figure in a denim jacket and tattered denim jeans. The figure turns slowly, and forms a smirk from under a pair of black Aviator shades.
"Not even God can save you.."
The crowd roars to "Not Even God" by Digital Summer, as some are booing, some cheering, an ice blue hue filling the ramp and entrance, a thin mist that under a spotlight has an eerie glow for one Duncan Aries! Aries has his back to us, looking down, before spinning around, arms crossed and head cocked in a smirk. Aries strides to the ring, paying no mind before tossing his shades into the crowd and leaping onto the apron. Entering the ring, Aries spins around, basking in the glow of the reaction, positive or negative, tossing off his jacket, yelling out "Because I'm Duncan Aries, motherfuckers!" as "Not Even God" fades out.
begins to play. The crowd reacts with overall boos and jeers, but there is the small population of fans, for either nostalgia or just plain assholes, that cheer and do the hero worship wave, wearing Icon Merch.
Big Stevie Cool walks out dressed in his classic BSC ring attire, black shiny side lace up pants and a black wrestling tank with "BSC" on the front. As well as a black elbow pad on his right elbow with "ICON" written in gold across it. He stops to look around the arena and the boos being thrown in his direction. Corman makes it very clear to the fans that “all of this” is because of Him. He smiles his cocky smile, then double thumb points to himself, taps his right index finger on his temple and slowly pans his left hand, index finger extended, around the arena; indicating that he’s smarter than each and every one of them, then Corman slowly raises his arms over his head, making the trademark Highrollers hand gesture (basically the wolfpack, while moving his thumbs around in the international sign for MONEY). He makes his way to the ring, as the A-Hole High Rollers fans cheer and do the "Icon" worship wave as Corman nods, points, and smiles at the camera. He climbs the stairs, planting each foot, and walks across the apron. He stops and the referee holds open the ropes as Corman enters the ring. Corman smirks and again repeats the High Rollers hand gesture by the ropes.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This is your Main Event scheduled for one fall, and is for the AXW Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, representing The Alliance of Truth, from San Diego, California, weighing 238 pounds, AXW Hall of Famer, "The Wild Card" DUNCAN ARIES!
Duncan raises his arms in the air, soaking in the crowd's reaction.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponent, from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, weighing 275 pounds, he is the defending AXW Champion, "The Icon" STEVE CORMAN!
Steve raises his championship into the air.
vs.
Malcolm M. Mitchell banned from ringside
The match starts off with some mind games from Corman, who exits the ring when Aries starts to approach him. Aries goes out after him and the chase is on. Corman slides back into the ring and elbow drops the incoming Aries. Corman traps Aries in a front facelock and drives his knees into the gut of Aries. Corman then delivers a Coconut Smash (off knee) and a Double Handed Headbutt. Aries gets planted with a Front Spinebuster for just a two count. Aries sits up which allows Corman to execute a Seated flip necksnap. Corman lifts Aries up and brings him to the corner, delivering some Back Elbows. Corman looks to rush in for a Stinger Splash but Aries moves and Corman collides with the turnbuckles. Aries slams Corman down with a German suplex. Aries hits a standing dropkick that sends Corman out of the ring. Aries jumps over the top rope, springboards off the bottom rope, nailing an Enter Gideon (Beautiful Disaster Kick) to the outside. Aries slams Corman face first on the barricade, then again on the apron, before rolling him back in the ring. Aries picks Corman up for The Culmination (Front slam pickup swung into a Rock Bottom) but Corman fights his way free. Corman bounces off the ropes and is caught with a snap powerslam. Aries drops Corman with a sidewalk slam and heads to the top rope. Aries jumps off with a diving elbow drop and gets a two count. Aries throws a kick at Corman, Corman catches it and takes him down with a Leg Hook Chokeslam. Corman tries to whip Aries to the ropes but Aries counters, sending Corman instead. Aries ducks down for the back body drop allowing Corman to deliver a Float over DDT. Corman hoists Aries up for a big The Iconic Slam (Rock Bottom). Corman grabs the legs of Aries looking for Canadian Conspiracy (Sharpshooter), but Aries shoves him away. Aries looks to get on offense but is thrown to the mat with The Icon-Plex (Exploder Suplex). Corman heads out to the apron, throws his elbow pad out into the crowd, and climbs to the top rope. Corman looks for Superstar Elbow (Test-esk flying elbow), but Aries rolls out of the way. Aries lifts Corman up for a San Diego Driver (Full Nelson pickup released into a wheelbarrow facebuster). Aries tries to cover but Corman rolls away until he falls out of the ring. Aries isn't gonna let Corman get away and goes out after him. Aries throws Corman into the announce table. Corman holds his gut as he crawls near the timekeeper's area. Aries follows and grabs Corman, and Corman clocks Aries with the AXW Championship!
Salvatore Pellegrino: The winner of the match as a result of disqualification, Duncan Aries! However still the AXW Champion, Steve Corman!
Mike Vincent: Steve Corman takes the easy way out, and it doesn't surprise me one bit.
Cole Haywood: It's not always about fighting hard, it's about fighting smart. This match wasn't contested under Anarchy rules like their last encounter, Corman knows he can utilize his champion's advantage to keep the title.
Corman leaves the arena through the crowd, clutching his championship.
Mike Vincent: Ladies and gentlemen we're out of time, tune in next week for AXW 50!
