Mexico City, Mexico
Episode L
Pyro explodes from the stage, ramp, Alternatron, and finally the ring posts. The cameras pan across the crowd before resting at the commentary table.
Mike Vincent: We're continuing our tour of Mexico as we come to you live from its capital, Mexico City. Hello everyone, I'm Mike Vincent joined by Cole Haywood, and since tonight is the special fiftieth episode of AXW, we're gonna have a special guest commentator with us for the evening.
Cole Haywood: I'm actually looking forward to it, I can finally have someone bearable to listen to.
"Crash" takes over the sound system as Benjamin Mathews makes his way out onto the stage. He walks down the ramp at a steady pace, a smug look on his face.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Ladies and gentlemen, your special guest commentator for the evening, representing Rising Sun Pro Wrestling, BENJI MATHEWS!
Benji makes his way over to the commentary table and puts on his headset.
Mike Vincent: Long time no see, it's good to see ya!
Benji Mathews: Can't say I share the same feelings. Heard good things about this guy though.
Benji and Cole shake hands.
Cole Haywood: Thank you, it's an honor.
Mike Vincent: For those who may not be aware, Benji and I were the original AXW commentary team before Cole Haywood joined us.
Benji Mathews: And now I got a gig in RSPW, where I proved the Mathews family is superior to the O'Reilly family when I sent Madden Fierce packing. Check local listings for RSPW so you can watch me if you aren't already.
Cole Haywood: A great night for you to be here, three titles will be defended tonight, let's get to the first defense.
“S-P-I-R-I-T
Spirit!! Let’s hear it!!
S-P-I-R-I-T
Spirit!! Let’s hear it!!”
Blue strobe lights roams around the arena like a trance as the opening tune of "Happy Song” by Bring Me The Horizon blares out of the PA system.
“LET’S GO!”
Out comes Janet Hurricane, her hoodie veil blinding her face. As the tempo gets faster and faster, we see her jumping up and down, still cannot see her face. Once we hear the lyrics, Janet reveals her face to the crowd and starts shadowing punching and kicking, feeling the energy of her theme song. She then starts walking her way to the ring, bopping her head to the music and in her own zone, not giving a damn about the fans’ reaction. Once she enters the ring, she takes off her hoodie and does a couple of shadow boxing, again feeling the energy of the music before it fades.
The arena lights dim as the opening beats of Anja’s “Dance All Nite” are accompanied by a dance club vibe of flashing, pulsing lights, the silhouette of Hailey Harris emerging on the ramp with a model’s poise. A sleeveless denim jacket with a hoodie covers a mid drift fishnet corset and a short hot pink skirt, fishnets and black boots completing the ensemble as the champion spins with her new pink G.A.W. shades over her eyes as the crowd boos her every move to the ring.
In the ring, Hailey holds the title up, storming to every side of the ring, defiant as he arena lights return to normal and the music fades.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the AXW Women's Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, from Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing 120 pounds, "The Queen of the Ravenous Generation" JANET HURRICANE!
Janet looks on intently at Hailey.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Her opponent, from Baltimore, Maryland, weighing 127 pounds, she is the defending AXW Women's Champion, "The Baltimore Bombshell" HAILEY HARRIS!
Hailey raises her championship with the utmost confidence.
Janet immediately takes Hailey down with a clothesline. Janet rolls Hailey up for a quick one count, the two get up and Janet hits Hailey with the side kick then brings her down with the Sitout Facebuster. Janet gets another one count before bouncing off the ropes and nailing Hailey with a Running Knee lift. Janet takes Hailey down with a Reverse DDT, and is unable to get to a cover as Hailey rolls out of the ring. Janet runs off the ropes and looks for a suicide dive, but Hailey reaches up and clocks Janet as she gets to the ropes. Hailey climbs up the turnbuckles and dives off with a missile dropkick. Hailey grabs Janet's head and delivers a tornado DDT. Hailey locks Janet in a surfboard, but Janet is able to get free. Hailey stays on offense with a spinning heel kick. Hailey follows up with a standing moonsault for a two count. Hailey irish whips Janet to the corner, and darts in looking for the shoulder block but Janet side steps and Hailey hits the ring post. Janet repositions Hailey and drives her skull to the mat with a Cry of Terror(Rope-hung DDT). Janet springs off the second rope to hit Hailey with a Beautiful Disaster. Janet covers and gets two. Janet slams Hailey down with a Snap Suplex and heads to the top rope. Hailey is up to her feet and throws Janet off the top rope and down to the canvas. Hailey quickly pulls herself to the top rope now and comes off with a top rope back elbow. Hailey drills Janet with an enziguri, before planting her with a Baltimore Bombshell (Double Underhook snap DDT). Hailey is frustrated that it's two but keeps her head straight. She grabs the head of Janet and runs up the turnbuckles for Sliced Bread #2. Janet is in position and Hailey climbs back to the top rope. Hailey dives off for Hailey’s Comet (450 Splash), Janet rolls out of the way, Hailey lands on her feet and rolls through. Hailey looks for a clothesline which Janet ducks, Janet immediately nailing Hailey with Wrath of the Hurricane (Maryse’s Heel Kick)!
One!
Two!
Hailey kicks out!
Janet stays on the attack as she forces Hailey to the mat with a Tropical Storm (Forward Russian Legsweep). She traps Hailey in an STF but Hailey eventually makes it to the rope. Janet lifts Hailey to her feet, and this is when Hailey suddenly delivers Check This Out! (Mic Check)!
One!
Two!
Three!
NO! Janet kicked out! Hailey can't believe it! Hailey slams Janet's head against the mat before picking her up for The Long Shot (Twist Of Fate). Hailey once again ascends to the top turnbuckle, this time coming off with Swan Song (Swanton Bomb)... and it connects! To Janet's knees! Janet quickly looks to take advantage, hooking Hailey's arms, and executing 15 Seconds of Fame (Masterlock turned into backcracker)!
One!
Two!
Three!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, and the NEW AXW WOMEN'S CHAMPION, JANET HURRICANE!
Mike Vincent: Janet Hurricane has dethroned Hailey Harris! We're kicking off the show with a new champion!
Benji Mathews: I've been hearing about an evolution of Janet Hurricane, and if that's the case, then she very well could beat records previous champions have set, she certainly will want to hold the title longer than her first reign of 77 days.
Cole Haywood: I can't believe that Hailey's 147 day reign has come to an end, I was sure she'd out it for at least the next five years or so.
Brian Sullivan hands Janet Hurricane the AXW Women's Championship. Janet appears to be holidng back tears as she raises the title high into the air. She takes the time to climb each turnbuckle and raise her championship. She exits the ring and actually high fives a few fans on her way up the ramp. She stands on the stage and raises her title once more, this time with pyro going off, while a dejected Hailey Harris is damn near throwing a tantrum at ringside.
-----
We go an undisclosed location backstage where Ryan Starr is standing.
Ryan Starr: Austin, I heard what you said last week. It seems you're upset after what happened at Anarchy. Let me remind you what happened. I beat you. And it kills you to know that when it comes down to it, Ryan Starr is better than Austin Graves. If you want a rematch, hey, I'll give you one, but the result will be the same. You know what's gonna happen after I beat you? I'm gonna go for gold. My eyes are not set on the Light Heavyweight Championship... or the Xperience Championship... or the Tag Team Championship. I'm looking right at the AXW Championship. I was in the AXW Championship picture when I first came here three years ago, and I can hop right back in it. You know why? Because I'm Ryan Starr. You? You're just Austin Graves. What do you have to your name? One championship in PWR and the AXW Tag Team Championship that you wouldn't have even touched if it wasn't for me. I'm one of the most decorated Light Heavyweights this world has to offer, and as I was showing three years ago, I can compete for the world title too. It'll be that much more sweeter when I win the coveted AXW Championship before you, because it will eat you alive. But for now, I still have you to worry about, don't I? Like I said, name the time, name the place, I'll be there once again to outshine you.
With that, we go back to ringside.

"Remedy" by Seether plays of the P.A. system as the camera pans over the arena stopping at the entrance way as Danny Hall, sporting a fur vest, strolls down to the ring stopping sometimes to yell at children, then when he gets to the ring he rolls under the bottom rope and takes the microphone from Salvatore.
Danny Hall: I'm not gonna repeat anything I said on The Alternative last week, other than that I am a man of my word, and right here right now, I will defend this title against ANYONE 225 pounds or under.
Danny tosses the mic back at Sal as he now awaits his opponent.
‘Invincible’ by Adelitas Way hits and Acer Stone runs out from the back looking pumped up and energetic. He heads down the ramp and punches the air three times as red pyros go off at the top of the ramp behind him. Acer heads over to the fans and slaps hands with them as he gets to the ring. He climbs into the ring and works the crowd a little more before they join him in punching the air three times.
Mike Vincent: Acer Stone has been on the shelf for six months, he's back and looking to become a two-time AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, his first reign he of course co-held with his opponent, Danny Hall.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, from Tampa, Florida, weighing 165 pounds, ACER STONE!
Acer punches the air three times as he's hyped up for his match.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponent, from Camden, Tennessee, weighing 220 pounds, he is the defending AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, "Mr. Most Hated" DANNY HALL!
Danny raises his championship high as he looks forward to another successful title defense.
The two lock up, the larger Hall backs Stone to a corner and unloads with some chops. Hall whips Stone so hard into the opposite corner that Stone collapses to the mat. Hall hits another chop, this one aimed at Stone's throat. Hall bounces off the ropes and hits a Dropkick to Back of Stone which sends him out of the ring. Hall leaps over the top rope with a pescado but Stone moves out of the way. Stone jumps onto the apron and dives onto Hall with a moonsault. Stone rolls Hall into the ring and climbs back onto the apron, entering the ring with a Springboard Hurricanrana for a two count. Upon Hall getting to a vertical base he is rocked by an Enzuigiri. Hall drops to a knee and Stone comes in with the Shining Wizard for two. Acer hoists Danny up for a Stalling Suplex, then leaps onto the top turnbuckle. Acer pumps the crowd up as he does his signature punch to the air three times, and dives off with the Shooting Star Elbow Drop for another two count. Acer picks Danny up to his feet and Danny shoves Acer off to the ropes. Danny nails Acer with the Shot Heard Round The World(Superkick) and Acer crumbles to the mat. Danny picks Acer up and has him doubled over, as Danny busts out Halls Frozen Over(Canadian Destroyer)! Danny slams his fist in the mat when it's only a two count. Danny runs the ropes for momentum and clobbers Acer with a Clothesline From Hall(Clotheline from Hell) so hard that Acer does a backflip. Danny lifts Acer onto his shoulders to set up Hallway to Hell (Roode Bomb), but Acer elbows Danny in the head and Acer takes him down with a Spinning Neckbreaker. Danny manages to get back to his feet and Acer kicks him in the gut, punches the air three times, and runs the ropes to deliver his Stone Cutter (Axe Kick). Acer locks Danny in a three-quarter facelock to set up his Honorable Mention (Springboard Cutter), but Danny gets free and brings Acer down to the mat in a Paradox(Crossface Chickenwing)! Acer reaches to try to grab some ropes but there's none in reach. Referee Jessie McCormick starts a pin count, as Danny's shoulders are down. Right when she slaps three is when Acer Stone taps out.
Mike Vincent: What's gonna be the call here?
Cole Haywood: The call is Acer Stone tapped out, therefore Danny Hall is still the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion.
Benji Mathews: Danny Hall needs to be more aware, his shoulders were down and the referee made the three count. Acer Stone is a two-time AXW Light Heavyweight Champion.
Danny Hall is thinking he won but McCormick explains that his shoulders were down for three. Stone then questions if he's won, but McCormick explains he tapped out. Luke Mathews comes down to talk to Jessie to get a response. Luke then asks for a microphone.
Luke Mathews: I don't know how you guys managed to pull this off a second time, but you did. I was entertained by it the first time, so fuck it, let's do it again. You are both once again co-holders of the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship.
Luke drops the mic and exits the ring.
Mike Vincent: Well guys, you were both right. Danny Hall is still in his second reign as Light Heavyweight Champion, while at the same time, Acer Stone now enters his second reign with the title.
Cole Haywood: The last time these two held the title together, it didn't end well for Acer. He was pushed from the top of a ladder in the ring to the outside which is why we haven't seen him in six months, and history very well could repeat itself.
Benji Mathews: It created an interesting dynamic the first time, I'm looking forward to seeing what unravels from here with Team Dancer.
The two are playing tug-of-war with the title, which ends in Acer kicking Danny in the gut and taking him down with the Honorable Mention! Acer takes the title and exits the ring, high-fiving fans on the way out.

We return backstage where Max Kilburne walks up to Cloud, who is finishing up putting his gear on.
Cloud: Oh, hey Max. I finally decided that I'm gonna go out there and challenge Danny Hall for the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship!
Max Kilburne: That already happened.
Cloud: ...What?
Max Kilburne: Yeah, you didn't see it? Acer Stone accepted and they're co-champions again. The match is over.
Cloud: ...Oh.
Max Kilburne: Better luck next time.
Max walks away. Cloud sighs.
Cloud: What a drag...
We head back to ringside.
-----
The lights dim as the crowd reacts, but to what they’re still unsure, when over the PA system comes a distinctly 80s pop beat, followed by
JITTERBUG.
Some infernal finger snapping, then a repeat.
JITTERBUG.
“Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go” by Wham follows a laser light show, as the emerging figures of The Push, Jimmy Reynolds and Timmy McDermott appear on either side of the ramp, snapping their fingers to the song to a chorus of boos before beginning their arsenal of 80s dance moves on their way to the ring.
Mike Vincent: The wrestling world is still stunned over what happened to The Push. Once one of the most beloved tag teams in AXW history-
Cole Haywood: Now actually a legit threat in the division and not two goofballs that got lucky. Glad they got rid of that stupid “Dance Pants” song too. God I hated that.
Mike Vincent: So THIS is better?
Cole Haywood: I didn’t say nothin’.
Benji Mathews: What do you have against George Michael, Mike?
Jimmy and Timmy enter the ring, scaling turnbuckles and looking out at the crowd with two huge grins plastered on their faces, both men in Cory Hart approved sunglasses (at night) and new “Not Your Father’s Push” t-shirts. Both men have mics. The crowd is in a frenzy as Jimmy tries to quiet them down, but to no avail at first.
Jimmy Reynolds: That’s better. We’re actually glad you all got that off your chests, because now we have some things we’d like to get off ours. Let’s start by saying that..WE WANT YOU TO WANT..US!
Reynolds actually blows kisses and does a little dance, which further infuriates the crowd, Reynolds once slick grin, turning sour. Reynolds motions to McDermott saying “I’m fed up, man. You take it.”
Timmy McDermott: You know, ever since we officially came back, all we’ve been asked is why. Why did we disguise ourselves as The Nintendudes? Why did we attack the Lethal Weapons? I mean, you’d think, since you guys made it out to be like you truly appreciated us that we wouldn’t do something so awful, so terrible, so..necessary.
McDermott smirks as the crowd boos.
Jimmy Reynolds: Necessary in proving a point. You guys never liked us. We were just the punch line to your jokes, just your little entertainers who were NEVER respected for what they did in this ring, and we asked for time off, just to recharge our batteries, what did you and the entire AXW roster do? You moved on without us. Man, just imagine what that made us feel like. We are the ONLY 2-time AXW Tag Team Champions and let’s face it, the epitome of tag team wrestling as far as AXW goes.
Timmy McDermott: We ARE tag team wrestling and the greatest team of all time.
The crowd chants “You suck!” as McDermott shakes his head.
Timmy McDermott: That’s the furthest thing from the truth! When we left, this division went downhill and fast! Because newsflash, dingbats, tag team wrestling isn’t sticking two random guys together and trying to capture lightning in a bottle. We were betrayed by each and every one of you who were stupid enough to accept THAT, to accept TO'A and Justin Wyndham, two guys who couldn’t hack it in the singles scene, being looked at as the best, so we betrayed each and every one of you!
Jimmy Reynolds: We fooled you and it felt great!
The crowd is getting really heated as McDermott speaks up.
Timmy McDermott: We pulled a Twisted Sister because we’re not gonna take it, no we ain’t gonna take it, we’re not gonna take it, anymore! We came back to entertain you, to be what you love, what you need, but most of all, we’re going to do ol’ Donny Trump one better and-
The Push: Make tag team wrestling great again!
The duo laughs, giving each other high fives and hugging one another as the crowd boos them mercilessly.
Suddenly,
Sam De Santa makes her way out onto the stage.
Sam De Santa: Gentlemen, allow me to introduce myself. I am Sam De Santa, the advocate of Trent Mathews. Now, you're probably wondering why I'm out here, and I will tell you why. See, you have an agenda of wanting to make tag team wrestling great again, while I have an agenda of making Trent Mathews great again. So, why don't we combine our efforts? Let's make both tag team wrestling and Trent Mathews great again at the same time, when the two of you face Trent Mathews and his new tag team partner.
A moment passes....
The crowd erupts. Out walks Trent Mathews in his usual garb, bandana and leather jacket. He pulls his leather jacket open to reveal his Chicks & America t-shirt. Ricky Diamond makes his way out onto the stage. The duo bump fists and high five fans on each side of the ramp as they make their way down to the ring.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This is a tag team contest scheduled for one fall, introducing the Push's opponents, accompanied to the ring by Sam De Santa, at a combined weight of 422 pounds, the team of Trent Mathews and Ricky Diamond, CHICKS AND AMERICA!
Mike Vincent: This is a big development, I'm being told that this is not a one time ordeal for AXW 50, but rather Ricky Diamond has signed to AXW making Chicks and America a full fledged AXW tag team once again.
Cole Haywood: I wasn't here for the Chicks and America era, and unfortunately, it looks like I will be now.
Benji Mathews: I'm glad I'm only here for one night, I have bad memories of these guys dunking me in a tank during a Fourth of July party in a parking lot. There's also the whole Trent firing me thing, but that worked out for the best because, you know, my whole career renaissance in RSPW.
Ricky and Timmy start the match off for their teams. Timmy hits Ricky with a chop, to which Ricky lets out an "OW!" Timmy hits him with another one, this time Ricky belts out a "JESUS!" Another chop from Timmy forces Ricky to let out a girly screech. Timmy claws the back of Ricky with a back rake, and another over-the-top scream from Ricky. Timmy takes Ricky down with a bulldog and tags in Jimmy. They take Ricky down with a double suplex. Jimmy climbs to the top rope where he delivers a diving fist drop. Jimmy hooks a leg and gets two. Jimmy nails Ricky with a discus punch, before going off the ropes and hitting a running back elbow. Jimmy lifts Ricky for a suplex then tags in Timmy. The two attack Ricky with Totally Bionic (Series Of double Bionic Elbows). Timmy lifts Ricky for a fisherman’s suplex for a two count. Timmy takes Ricky down with a swinging neckbreaker and follows up with a legdrop. Timmy has Ricky doubled over for a piledriver, but Ricky responds with a back body drop and dives to tag in Trent. Trent comes in and takes Timmy down with a Jumping Calf Kick. Trent runs over to Jimmy and knocks him off the apron. Trent hits Timmy with a Leg Lariat. As Timmy gets back up, Trent delivers a Jawbreaker. Trent lifts Timmy up for a Uranage Backbreaker. Timmy crawls to a neutral corner where he helps himself up, and is hit with a Swinging Corner Clothesline. Trent stays on the arpon and comes back in with a Springboard Clothesline. Trent tags in Ricky who delivers some Rapid Fire Knife Edge Chops. Ricky takes Timmy to the mat with a Ranhei, the pin being broken up by Jimmy. Trent comes in and Cactus Clotheslines Jimmy out of the ring. Timmy ends up taking control as he plants Ricky with a DDT. Timmy climbs to the top rope as he's looking for his Best Of My Love (Superfly Snuka Splash), but Trent climbs to the apron and shoves him back into the ring. Ricky rolls Timmy up with a schoolboy... and gets the three count!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here are your winners, CHICKS AND AMERICA!
Mike Vincent: Chicks and America are back and have defeated The Push!
Cole Haywood: Upset of the century! The last people The Push were expecting to interrupt them would be these two.
Benji Mathews: Seeing as The Push are the only team to hold the tag titles twice, this is a big win for Chicks and America, Ricky Diamond specifically as I believe this is his first win in AXW.
Ricky, as excited as can be, rolls out of the ring and jumps into the arms of Sam De Santa. Unfortunately, Sam isn't that strong, and the two collapse to the floor. Trent comes along and helps the two up, hugging his old friend Ricky. Sam raises the hands of her new team, leaving The Push shocked and furious, before we head backstage.

Renee Peltier is backstage with the AXW Tag Team Champions, Lethal Weapons.
Renee Peltier: Justin, TO'A, do you guys have any response to everything that just happened?
Justin Wyndham: See, we could have returned the favor, and gone out there and attack them, but we're bigger men, Renee. They can go out there and attack us and say whatever they want about us, but at the end of the day, we have these, and they don't.
TO'A: Their attacks just motivate us to ensure that the next time they're in the ring with us, they'll end up being carted off to the hospital. Or morgue. Whatever mood they happen to catch me in at the time.
Renee Peltier: Do you have any thoughts on the returning Chicks and America?
Justin Wyndham: They're entertaining. Everyone loves them for their antics. But to put this as nicely as I can word it, nobody remembers Chicks and America for the very few matches they had. Yeah, they'll make you laugh, but they don't have a good win-loss record.
TO'A: To me, they're just like the rest. Another lower level tag team competing against every other lower level tag team in AXW.
Renee Peltier: Thanks for the words, guys, more AXW coming to you after these commercials.
UPCOMING MAJOR BWF NETWORK EVENTS
Monday, October 24
Saturday, November 12
"Hear Me Now" plays throughout the arena and Malcolm M. Mitchell makes his way to the stage. He takes a moment to taunt, throwing shadow punches, then runs his hands through his hair and flicks the water off his hands, keeping his arms spread with his head up, soaking in the reaction from the crowd.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from Riviera Beach, Florida, weighing 214 pounds, MALCOLM M. MITCHELL!
He walks down to the ring with confidence in every step. Malcolm enters the ring, climbs to the second turnbuckle, and does the same taunt he did on the stage.
"Invincible" by Amaranthe hits, the fast pounding drums blaring loudly from the speakers as the lights dim completely. They come back to Android 18 standing at the entrance ramp, head down, the words 'The code awakens me' flash along the jumbotron behind her as she opens her eyes and brings her head up slowly. She walks stoically down the ramp, a smirk spreading over her face as she goes. She stops in the middle of the ramp, raising her hands to actually sign the words 'I am Invincible.'
Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponent, representing The Alliance of Truth, from Cork, Ireland, weighing 135 pounds, ANDROID 18!
Before continuing on and leaping straight up onto the ring post, she signs ''I am Invincible' one more time, entering the ring and awaiting the match to start.
Malcolm tries for a clothesline but Android ducks it and hits Malcolm with a dropkick. She tries to kick him again but he catches her foot, and she hits him with the Mule Kick. Android runs off the ropes and nails Malcolm with a Crooked arm lariat. Android continues her striking offense with some Shin strikes. Malcolm ducks a punch and lifts her up for a Blue Thunder Bomb, earning barely two. Malcolm rocks her with an Enzuigiri, before slamming the back of her head to the mat with a Zigzag for another two. Android throws a desperation punch, but Malcolm catches her arm and flows it into a Hammerlock DDT. Malcolm delivers a Jumping Shoulder Jawbreaker, with Android rolling out of the ring holding her jaw. Malcolm gives her no breathing room as he comes over the top rope with a Tope Con Hilo. Malcolm throws Android into the barricade. Malcolm rolls Android back into the ring where he executes a Double Knee Drop to the midsection. Malcolm climbs the turnbuckles and dives off with a Moonsault, but no one's home. Android takes advantage with a Lifting Double Underhook Facebuster which gets her two. Android hits a Dropkick to the back of Malcolm, Malcolm falling against the second rope. Android swings through the ropes to deliver a Tiger feint kick. Android delivers Non-stop Violence (Spinning headlock elbow drop), before springing off the second rope for Graceful Orbit (Lionsalt). After a two count, Android lifts Malcolm to his feet, and Malcolm hits a surprise Cutter. Malcolm bounces off the ropes as he looks for Faceplant (Fame Asser), but Android shows her strength by catching him with a Sitout Powerbomb. Android follows up with a Buster Swing (Inverted stomp facebreaker), and this one is in the books.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, ANDROID 18!
Mike Vincent: An impressive win for Android 18, especially considering there was no help from the Alliance of Truth.
Cole Haywood: Her allies knew that she wouldn't need the help, Mike, Aries and Fhenix keep her in the Alliance for good reason, and that's that she doesn't go easy and will take on anyone and everyone to great success.
Benji Mathews: Malcolm is an impressive athlete but there are times where that's not enough, and this was one of them. He needs to keep tapping into that aggressive side, that's what's gonna make him a star.
Gus Ramos raises the hand of Android 18. Android decides she hasn't done enough damage, and pummels away at Malcolm until Ramos steps in and pulls her off. She has a smile on her face as she heads to the back.

We return to the interview set where Gina Furlow is standing by with Katsuko Nakamoto and April Maeda.
Gina Furlow: Ladies and gentlemen as you can see, I'm joined by Katsuko Nakamoto and her translator, April Maeda. Katsuko, how does it feel coming so close to capturing the AXW Women's Championship only to fall short on two occasions?
Katsuko Nakamoto: [speaking in Japanese]
April Maeda: Katsuko says that Janet and Hailey are only delaying the inevitable. In Katsuko's first AXW match, she would have left Women's Championship if Janet Hurricane didn't force the disqualification. Then at Anarchy, while still within the rules or lack there of of the event, Hailey used an underhanded tactic to remain champion, which is where the biggest difference between them and Katsuko lies, Katsuko doesn't need underhanded tactics, she'll only try to kick your head off.
Gina Furlow: Last week, Katsuko, you succumbed to Janet Hurricane cleanly in a Number One Contender's Match. Can you speak your mind on that?
Katsuko Nakamoto: [speaking in Japanese]
April Maeda: She says that she has no excuses for her loss and that Janet was the better competitor that night. Katsuko assures that she will be champion one day and that it's only a matter of time, but as circumstances shown, it wouldn't be tonight. From here, Katsuko can only bide her time and train even harder until she becomes AXW Women's Champion.
Gina Furlow: Any final thoughts before we send it back to ringside?
Katsuko Nakamoto: [speaking in Japanese]
April Maeda: She is warning her future opponents to be careful, or they will be bitten by the fox.
Katsuko Nakamoto: Megitsune will bite!
Katsuko holds up the fox sign before we go back to ringside.

The AXW Cage begins to lower. It stops about ten feet above the ring.
The arena lights descend to darkness, as the tron displays an old black and white vision of an apocalyptic scene, as within a broken building we hear the crackle and zap of electricity, pulses of computers, as there, standing before the rubble is a figure in a denim jacket and tattered denim jeans. The figure turns slowly, and forms a smirk from under a pair of black Aviator shades.
"Not even God can save you.."
The crowd roars to "Not Even God" by Digital Summer, as some are booing, some cheering, an ice blue hue filling the ramp and entrance, a thin mist that under a spotlight has an eerie glow for one Duncan Aries! Aries has his back to us, looking down, before spinning around, arms crossed and head cocked in a smirk. Aries strides to the ring, paying no mind before tossing his shades into the crowd and leaping onto the apron. Entering the ring, Aries spins around, basking in the glow of the reaction, positive or negative, tossing off his jacket, yelling out "Because I'm Duncan Aries, motherfuckers!" as "Not Even God" fades out.
begins to play. The crowd reacts with overall boos and jeers, but there is the small population of fans, for either nostalgia or just plain assholes, that cheer and do the hero worship wave, wearing Icon Merch.
Big Stevie Cool walks out dressed in his classic BSC ring attire, black shiny side lace up pants and a black wrestling tank with "BSC" on the front. As well as a black elbow pad on his right elbow with "ICON" written in gold across it. He stops to look around the arena and the boos being thrown in his direction. Corman makes it very clear to the fans that “all of this” is because of Him. He smiles his cocky smile, then double thumb points to himself, taps his right index finger on his temple and slowly pans his left hand, index finger extended, around the arena; indicating that he’s smarter than each and every one of them, then Corman slowly raises his arms over his head, making the trademark Highrollers hand gesture (basically the wolfpack, while moving his thumbs around in the international sign for MONEY). He makes his way to the ring, as the A-Hole High Rollers fans cheer and do the "Icon" worship wave as Corman nods, points, and smiles at the camera. He climbs the stairs, planting each foot, and walks across the apron. He stops and the referee holds open the ropes as Corman enters the ring. Corman smirks and again repeats the High Rollers hand gesture by the ropes.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This is your Main Event scheduled for one fall, it will be contested in an AXW Cage, and is for the AXW Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, representing The Alliance of Truth, from San Diego, California, weighing 238 pounds, AXW Hall of Famer, "The Wild Card" DUNCAN ARIES!
Duncan says "Nowhere to go, no running away, that title is mine!"
Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponent, from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, weighing 275 pounds, he is the defending AXW Champion, "The Icon" STEVE CORMAN!

One!
Two!
Three!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, and STILL the AXW Champion, STEVE CORMAN!
Mike Vincent: What a match. No way in, no way out, no shenanigans, Steve Corman remains on top.
Cole Haywood: It hurts my heart that these two have to keep fighting each other, but when it matters the most, Steve Corman proves why he is AXW Champion. Steve Corman sits at 137 days, two days away from tying Danny De Vries' Eternity Championship reign, a title that was of course fused into the AXW Championship.
Benji Mathews: Duncan Aries and my family may not have always seen eye to eye, but I'll give him credit, he's a tough son of a bitch who doesn't go down without a fight. AXW Hall of Famer for very good reason.
The cage begins to rise and Matt Baker hands Steve Corman his title.
Bruiser Lazzou makes a b-line to the ring, of course carrying his AXW Xperience Championship with him. He walks up the steps and enters the ring. Corman is ready to throw down but Lazzou walks right past him, and receives a microphone.
Bruiser Lazzou: I'm glad you won this match, Steve, because I have some bones to pick with you. You like to sit behind your keyboard and write reviews for AXW, and each time you do so you take these shots at me. You say that I get gassed easy and that I'm bound to have a heart attack in the ring and yadda yadda yadda. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt though, after all, you are older than I am so maybe your vision isn't so good. Every time I've stepped into this ring for the past ninety days I have destroyed every person who dared step into the ring with me. I have defended this championship more than anyone in this title's history. But you look right past all of that, don't you? I'm going to make you eat your words, Corman. I am officially redeeming the Xperience Championship... but the match isn't gonna take place right now. While I could've come down here, laid your ass out and leave with your title, I'm actually gonna give you a fighting chance. I'm going to prove to you that this fat bastard can out perform the so-called icon that is Steve Corman. Steve Corman will be no different than the rest of my past opponents the past ninety-one days. I will see you at Breakdown.
Lazzou drops the microphone and the Xperience Championship and exits the ring.
Mike Vincent: This is big news, Bruiser Lazzou has redeemed the Xperience Championship for an AXW Championship match against Steve Corman at Breakdown! Ladies and gentlemen we're out of time, for Cole Haywood and RSPW's Benji Mathews I'm Mike Vincent, good night!
We end the show with Corman shaking his head at Lazzou as he walks up the ramp, and raises his title high.
