Episode LIV
Upon the conclusion of the opening video package, pyro blasts from the ramp and stage. Cameras pan across the crowd showing the signs spread out across the arena.
Mike Vincent: This is AXW! Mike Vincent joined by Cole Haywood, and we're coming off of a great event that was Breakdown.
Cole Haywood: That's right, and we're expecting to hear from the AXW Champion, so let's not waste any more time and see what he has to say.
“Code Red” by Nonpoint blares as the crowd erupts (in both cheers and boos) for the new AXW Champion, Bruiser Lazzou!
Mike Vincent: And here he is, our new AXW Champion!
Cole Haywood: I shed a tear for the dethroned champ, Big Steve, but man, that was a war they had, Vincent!
Mike Vincent: Most definitely!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome the NEW AXW Champion, BRUISER LAZZOU!
Lazzou emerges, clad in a black and red gas attendant style shirt and trucker hat, the shirt with the name Bruiser on the nametag, the hat with his biohazard symbol, the AXW Championship slung over his right shoulder as he looks around the arena before stomping down the ramp with the roar!
Mike Vincent: Rumors have been swirling all day as to what Bruiser plans on saying tonight!
Lazzou enters the ring, and stomps over to each side, thrusting the title into the air as the mixed reaction continues. With a deep breath, Lazzou calls for a mic as “Code Red” fades out. Suddenly, a “YOU DESERVE IT!” chant begins to take shape! Lazzou takes another deep breath and shakes his head.
Bruiser Lazzou: No, that’s where you’re wrong guys. In life, especially in this business, you don’t deserve anything. You go out and earn it, and at Breakdown, I went out and earned THIS.
Lazzou holds up the title once again, the fans giving him a nice pop, as he then holds the title close by his face, flipping his cap backwards.
Bruiser Lazzou: But you know, all I ever asked for, after the years of being looked at as a joke, after changing the game, my career, for the better, was to go out on top on MY terms, and tonight, whether you loved me, whether you hated me, I get to do just that. Tonight, right here, I go out on top and retire, a TWO time AXW Champion!
Mike Vincent: Bruiser Lazzou is retiring?
Cole Haywood: I’m just pissed Corms can’t beat him up in the ring again.
Lazzou looks out into the crowd as they chant “THANK YOU, BRUISER!”
Bruiser Lazzou: It’s been one hell of a ride, kids, 20 plus years for this ol’ Bruiser, and business was good, damn good, and you helped make it so. Luke Mathews, there’s a lot of people in this business that give you shit, but you always treated this “fat, washed up nobody” like a champion, and you continue to, as I am now the Head Trainer of the Mathews Family Training Facility. Well, this is it. From this grouchy old bastard to all of you and all of the boys and girls in the back..
Lazzou lays the championship down in the middle of the ring, flipping his trucker’s hat back around.
Bruiser Lazzou: Thank you.
“Code Red” blares again as Lazzou makes his way out of the ring, slapping hands with fans, shaking hands with Mike Vincent and Cole Haywood, before heading up the ramp and saluting the fans one last time, as with one final deep breath, exits backstage to thunderous ovation.
Mike Vincent: Bruiser Lazzou's presence in the ring will be missed, but what a valuable asset the Mathews Family Training Facility just got, the kids learning down there will be in good hands.
Cole Haywood: That's all great and all, but there's a bigger picture here, and that's the AXW Championship that's laying in the middle of that ring...
"Still Counting" by Volbeat starts to play as the camera pans to the Alternatron, with Luke Mathews stepping out onto the stage. Dressed in black dress pants and suit jacket with a black v-neck underneath, he makes his way down to the ring.
Mike Vincent: Well, here comes the boss to potentially discuss that, Cole.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Please welcome the CEO of AXW, and one third of the BWF Trios Champions, LUKE MATHEWS!
Luke enters the ring and receives a microphone.
Luke Mathews: Let's hear it one more time for Bruiser Lazzou!
The crowd cheers.
Luke Mathews: With Lenny "Bruiser" Lazzou officially retired from competition, that means that as of today, Saturday, December 3, 2016...
Luke picks the AXW Championship off the mat.
Luke Mathews: ...the AXW Championship is officially vacated. Now--
"Voodoo Child" by Brick & Mortar begins to play. The crowd reacts with overall boos and jeers, but there is the small population of fans, for either nostalgia or just plain assholes, that cheer and do the hero worship wave. Corman walks out from the back and slowly raises his arms slowly over his head, making the trademark Highrollers hand gesture (basically the wolfpack, while moving his thumbs around in the international sign for MONEY). He sets out for the ring. Reaching ringside, he enters up the stairs and comes to the centre of the ring, addressing Luke Mathews.
Steve Corman: There's only one right way to do this, Mathews, and that's award that championship to the man who rightfully deserves it, me.
Luke Mathews: Well, Steve, I'm not gonna just award you the title, however, you technically do get a rematch for the title. So here's what's going to happen, Steve Corman, at Winterslam, you will be competing for the AXW Championship.
Steve Corman: Well the fat bastard that got the fluke win over me just retired, so what, am I wrestling myself or something?
Luke Mathews: Not quite. Over the next number of weeks there will be a sixteen man tournament, where the winner will face you Steve Corman for the vacated AXW Championship at Winterslam. And that tournament will begin right now!
Mike Vincent: Big news from Luke Mathews, the winner of a tournament will face Steve Corman for the AXW Championship at Winterslam.
Cole Haywood: It's not gonna matter who wins because Steve Corman will be getting his title back.
When the ring clear of Mathews and Corman, we move onto the first match of the night.
Failure by Breaking Benjamin fades into play in the arena. The lights dim as a spotlight centers up on the stage. 17 seconds into the song, pyros go off on either side of the stage and Clifford Bradley bursts onto the stage.
Bradley walks down the ramp, a smirk on his faces, completely ignoring the fans to either side of him. He uses the stairs to climb to the apron, demanding the ref to come and open up the ropes for him when entering the ring, and then goes directly to his corner to await the beginning of the match.
"Everywhere I Go" starts with flashing while lights.
"Everywhere I go
Bitches always know
That Charlie Scene got a weenie that he loves to show (bitch)
Everywhere I go
Bitches always know"
Chaz Anix comes out with a gym tee cut to show his mustles slowly with his arms outstretched and his eyes closed
"Wake up!"
Chaz opens his eyes quickly and rips off his shirt and makes his way down to the ring
"Grab beer
Grab rear
Shave beard
Put on some scene gear
Gotta get drunk before my mom wakes up
Break up, with my girlfriend so I can bang sluts
I'm undead
Unfed
Been sleeping on, bunk beds, since ten
So if I don't booze it
I'm gonna lose it
Everybody get to it
Do it
Get ruined."
Chaz stops at the end of the ramp and flexes then he slides into the ring.
Both managers accompany their respective clients to ringside, but before the match introduction, get ejected from ringside by official Jessie McCormick!
Salvatore Pellegrino: This contest scheduled for one fall is a First Round Match in the AXW Championship Number One Contender's Tournament, and is also for the AXW Xperience Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, wrestling out of Miami, Florida, weighing 218 pounds, CLIFFORD BRADLEY!
Clifford hops back and forth, getting himself amped up for the match.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponent, also wrestling out of Miami, Florida, weighing 234 pounds, he is the defending AXW Xperience Champion, "Dr. Big Freaking Deal" CHAZ ANIX!
Chaz raises his championship into the air to boos from the crowd.

The two enemies lock up and Chaz backs Bradley to the corner. Chaz unloads with some right hands and backs off at the count of four. Bradley explodes out of the corner and takes Anix down with a clothesline, following up with some punches of his own. Bradley slams Anix down with a Belly-to-belly suplex for a two count. Both get up and Bradley remains in control with a Spinning Wheel Kick. Anix rolls out of the ring and Bradley goes for his over the top rope crossbody which Anix avoids, Bradley, hitting the floor hard. Anix grabs Bradley and throws him into the barricade. Anix rolls Bradley into the ring and drill him with a Jumping DDT. Anix hooks a leg for a two count. Anix lifts Bradley onto his shoulder as he sets up the Lawn Dart, but Bradley slips off and shoves Anix into the turnbuckles. Bradley lifts Anix up for a bridging German Suplex for a two count. Bradley goes to irish whip Anix but pulls him back in and lifts him for a Spinebuster. Bradley grabs the legs of Anix and locks him in a Boston Crab! Anix hollers out in pain but slowly manages to crawl to the bottom rope. Bradley breaks and re-approaches Anix and is met with a back elbow. Anix delivers a Too Sexy for This (Flat Liner) into the second turnbuckle. Anix attempts a Super Anix Cutter(Diamond Dust), but Bradley carries him out of the corner for a Powerslam. Bradley lifts Anix up for The Price Drop (Fit Finlay’s Celtic Cross), but Anix slips free and rolls Bradley up, a hand full of tights as Jessie McCormick makes the three count.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Advancing to the Second Round, and STILL AXW Xperience Champion, CHAZ ANIX!
Mike Vincent: Chaz Anix steals the win tonight grabbing a hand full of Clifford Bradley's tights.
Cole Haywood: Chaz Anix is a man with a lot to lose, if he loses this tournament he not only loses a chance at the AXW Championship, but he also loses his Xperience Championship since it must be defended in every singles match the champion is in.
Anix immediately gets out of the ring and backs his way up the ramp, Jessie McCormick catching up with him to hand him his championship and raise his hand.

We open backstage as we see the back of a t-shirt that says “I AM AXW” in ice blue, as the figure clad in the shirt, spins around to showcase the new “Aries4Life” t-shirt. Duncan Aries smirks from under his olive green tinted Aviator shades. Aries slowly lifts a mic to his lips as some fans chant his name, Aries stopping, first looking unimpressed, then smirking again.
Duncan Aries: For those of you who don’t know, I’m Duncan Aries, and at Breakdown, I beat Malcolm Mitchell because I said I would, AND because as I said, his unborn hellspawn son just north of Zoey’s nasty parts is probably a better wrestler than he is, AND because more people remember Cletus than him, AND he’s nothing more than a nepotism “gift” from Luke The Puke that NONE of us asked for. Malcolm, the sooner you realize you’re a piece of garbage wrestler and better equipped to read Bubble Guppies stories than be anywhere near me in a wrestling ring the better. The fact you hit me with a chair after our match shows you’re not only one bitter loser, you KNOW I’m right.
Aries taps his chin.
Duncan Aries: But you know, that’s not the only thing I’m right about around here. I knew, despite the fact I wasn’t the one to do it, Steve Corman would be humiliated in front of the world, and he was, by a guy who used to wear lobster claw gloves to the ring. Let that sink in for a second, because I’m sure it has after every shot of alcohol Steve drank at the Breakdown after party. Then that fat tub of goo Lazzou retires like an idiot and now we have this tournament to decide Steve Corman's opponent, and I just so happen to be in it! The Dark Ages need to end in AXW and it just so happens I’m just the guy to bring us back into the light.
Duncan Aries: AXW, not even God can save you…
Aries lowers his shades.
Duncan Aries: But Duncan Aries can!
Aries tosses the mic down and storms off.
"How Sweet to be an Idiot" by Neil Innes as Cloud comes out of the curtains with one hand on his pocket and the other hand holding a lighter. He flicks the lighter and stares at the flame as if he was in a trance and then he points up at the sky, saying, "Rest in Peace Sensei." Cloud puts the lighter back in his pocket and makes his way to the ring.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest scheduled for one fall is a First Round Match in the AXW Championship Number One Contender's Tournament, introducing first, wrestling out of Los Angeles, California, weighing 210 pounds, CLOUD!
He slaps hands with almost every fans and then later regrets leaving few fans hanging before entering the ring. Cloud then goes to the nearest corner and sits down like Raven, patiently waiting for the match to start
"Rocketman" starts with all of the lights out with some smoke and one spotlight
"She packed my bags last night pre flight
Zero hour nine a.m.
And I'm gonna be high, as a kite by then
I miss the earth so much, I miss my wife
It's lonely out in space
On such a timeless flight
And I think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone"
Then a hooded figure shows up and waits at the spotlight.
"And I think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone"
Ben raises his arms simultaneously taking off his cape and walks to the ring.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponent, wrestling out of Mason City, Iowa, weighing 223 pounds, he is the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, BEN "ROCKET MAN" EATR!
"Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids
In fact it's cold as Hell
And there's no one there to raise them if you didn't
And all this science, I don't understand
It's just my job, five days a week
A rocket man, a rocket man"
On beat with the song Ben climbs the apron and jumps on the turnbuckle.
"And I think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone
And I think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone"
Ben keeps his arms up then jumps into the ring.
"Now, I think it's gonna be a long long time
And I think it's gonna be a long long time
And I think it's gonna be a long long time
And I think it's gonna be a long long time"
The bigger Ben Eatr traps Cloud in a side headlock. Cloud tries to push him off but Eatr doesn't budge. Cloud tries to lift Eatr but Eatr takes him down with the headlock takedown. Cloud is able to escape by applying a headscissors. Eatr tries to utilize some strength by getting to his feet and lifting Cloud up, but Cloud executes a Hurricanrana. Eatr is back up and tries a clothesline but it's ducked and Cloud nails him with a pele kick. Cloud grabs Eatr's arm and delivers Lighting Strikes Twice (Pepsi Twist) for a two count. Cloud tries to whip Eatr but Eatr counters, sending Cloud towards the corner. Cloud gets to the corner and tries to float over the oncoming Eat, but Eatr catches him and runs him into the opposite corner with a Lawn Dart. Eatr applies Gassed Out (Rear Naked Choke), but Cloud manages to reach a foot onto the bottom rope. Eatr bounces off the ropes and hits Cloud with a Running knee. Eatr heads out to the apron where he looks to deliver his Springboard 450 to a standing opponent, but Cloud moves out of the way. Cloud hooks the head of Eatr and drives him to the mat with Drift Away (Lifting Inverted DDT). Cloud awaits Eatr to get to a vertical base and appears to try for Strange Cloud(Christo) but Eatr counters with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Cloud gets to his feet only to be taken down with a Sling blade. Eatr backs to a corner before nailing Cloud with a Rocket Shot (Running single leg dropkick). Eatr points to the sky to the approval of the fans and sets Cloud up and connects with To the Moon (Top Rope Sitout-Powerbomb)!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Advancing to the Second Round, BEN EATR!
Mike Vincent: Ben Eatr rockets himself to the second round, where he will meet Chaz Anix for the Xperience Championship. Ben Eatr could make history as a dual champion, and perhaps triple champion if he makes it through the whole tournament and beats Steve Corman.
Cole Haywood: Yeah, and a leprechaun will ride in on a unicorn and give him a pot of gold too, right? Stop daydreaming, Vincent.
Ben Eatr is awarded his Light Heavyweight Championship and has his arm raised as "Rocket Man" plays throughout the arena. Ben celebrates in the ring before exiting, high fiving fans on his way to the back.
Mike Vincent: I understand Gina Furlow is waiting backstage, let's send things over to her.
-----
Gina Furlow: Thank you, Mike. I'm joined at this time by the AXW Women's Champion, Janet Hurricane. Janet, down the line you will be defending your championship against Rochelle, who had a lot to say earlier tonight on The Alternative. Do you have a rebuttal?
Janet Hurricane: Honestly, I was zoning in and out listening to her speak. I did hear that last part though, about her being a fortune teller or whatever, saying she was gonna leave me battered and broken and titleless, and I think that's adorable. She's had like three matches, she's no threat to me. Sure, she beat Olya Oglovska and Velvet Valentine, but there's a huge difference between stepping into the ring with one of them and stepping into the ring with me. I went through wars to get where I am now. Look at how badly I destroyed Zoey Mathews, a person who has more talent in her little toe than Rochelle has in her entire body. When it comes down to it, Rochelle doesn't have the capability of even coming close to beating me, and when she does step into the ring with me, she will be hit hard with reality and not her fantasy fortune telling.
Gina Furlow: Thank you Janet, let's send it back to ringside.
-----
The opening riffs of 'Pour Some Sugar on me' hits, and the arena goes dark with a single pink spotlight near the entrance. As the drums hit, Bobo comes out, flashing a bright smile, wearing a black pinstriped Chef's apron over his pink and black tights. He holds a tray in his hands which naturally contains samples of his cakes, that he baked to perfection.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest scheduled for one fall, is a First Round Match in the AXW Championship Number One Contender's Tournament, introducing first, wrestling out of Skaneateles, New York, weighing 238 pounds, "The Master Pâtissier" BOBO SWEETCAKES!
He proceeds to feed the samples to the fans at ringside before sliding the tray underneath the ring. He climbs into the ring and throws his apron to the crowd.
"Hear Me Now" plays throughout the arena and Malcolm M. Mitchell makes his way to the stage. He takes a moment to taunt, throwing shadow punches, then runs his hands through his hair and flicks the water off his hands, keeping his arms spread with his head up, soaking in the reaction from the crowd.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponent, wrestling out of Riviera Beach Florida, weighing 214 pounds, MALCOLM M. MITCHELL!
He walks down to the ring with confidence in every step. Malcolm enters the ring, climbs to the second turnbuckle, and does the same taunt he did on the stage.
The first ever encounter between these two men starts with a traditional collar and elbow tie up, the smaller Malcolm knows it won't end well for him and knees Bobo in the gut. Malcolm throws some punches, and goes to whip Bobo, but Bobo counters and sends Malcolm to the ropes. Bobo delivers his Leapfrog evasion into Sunset Flip for a two count. Bobo slams Malcolm down with his German Suplex + Dragon Suplex + Tiger Suplex combination. Bobo covers and again gets two. Bobo whips Malcolm to the corner and Malcolm gets the knees up when Bobo runs toward him. Malcolm quickly pulls himself to the top rope, spins 180 degrees and leaps off with a Moonsault to the standing Bobo. The two get up and Malcolm nails Bobo with an Enzuigiri. Malcolm hoists Bobo up for a Fisherman Suplex, earning a two count on the bridged pin. Bobo is back up, but not for long as Malcolm executes the double leg takedown. Malcolm tries locking in a Figure Four Leg Lock but Bobo pushes him off. Bobo is back up and is struck by a hard back kick from Malcolm, forcing him to double over. Malcolm hits the ropes as he's probably looking for Faceplant (Fame Asser), but Bobo suddenly throws him up for a Pop-up Cutter. Bobo hooks the waist of Malcolm and delivers a Dough Toss (Release Gutwrench Suplex on turnbuckle). Bobo sets Malcolm in a Tree of Woe, then looks to follow up with a Stalling Low Dropkick but Malcolm pulls himself up to avoid it. Malcolm again stands on the top rope and this time utilizes a Diving Crossbody. Malcolm brings Bobo back to the mat with a Zigzag. Malcolm, realizing where he is, hatches an idea. He lifts Bobo up, and looks to execute The Culmination (Front slam pickup swung into a Rock Bottom), but upon swinging Bobo out, Bobo manages to counter into a small package, getting the three count.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Advancing to the Second Round, BOBO SWEETCAKES!
Mike Vincent: Malcolm M. Mitchell tried to stick it to Duncan Aries, looking to utilize his finishing move here in his hometown of San Diego, and it ended up costing him.
Cole Haywood: That's what he gets for trying to be a copycat. The only way Malcolm can stay relevant is trying to steal other people's moves, how pathetic.
Bobo Sweetcakes exits the ring and has his arm raised by Shane Gates. He makes his way to the back, celebrating all the way, leaving Malcolm alone in the ring. Malcolm runs his hands through his hair, frustrated at his mistake. Suddenly, Malcolm gets clubbed in the back of the head to a pop from the crowd.
Mike Vincent: Come on! Duncan Aries attacking Malcolm M. Mitchell from behind!
Cole Haywood: Malcolm did this to Aries at Breakdown, Aries is simply returning to sender.
Aries scoops Mitchell up, spins around a few times, before swinging him out and planting him with The Culmination!
Cole Haywood: That's how it's done!
Aries stands in the middle of the ring, looking around at his hometown crowd as they give him a tremendous ovation. Aries takes a bow, before exiting the ring and we fade to commercial.
"Invincible" by Amaranthe hits, the fast pounding drums blaring loudly from the speakers as the lights dim completely. They come back to Android 18 standing at the entrance ramp, head down, the words 'The code awakens me' flash along the Alternatron behind her as she opens her eyes and brings her head up slowly. She walks stoically down the ramp, a smirk spreading over her face as she goes. She stops in the middle of the ramp, raising her hands to actually sign the words 'I am Invincible.'
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, wrestling out of Cork, Ireland, weighing 135 pounds, ANDROID 18!
Before continuing on and leaping straight up onto the ring post, she signs ''I am Invincible' one more time, entering the ring and awaiting the match to start.
“Like A Prayer” by Madonna plays through the speakers providing a peppy ambiance. The entire arena goes dark momentarily as “Sister Inferior” Olya Latanya Oglovska enters from the ramp with a pair of opera binoculars in her right hand. Three spotlights highlight various audience members who have striking physical attributes. As Olya walks down to the ramp she fans herself with a bidder paddle.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Her opponent, wrestling out Saratov, Russia, weighing 115 pounds, "Sister Inferior" OLYA OGLOVSKA!
Upon reaching the arena floor and within clear eye line of her opponent, all three spotlights converge. Oglovska raises her bidder paddle to indicate she plans on procuring another priceless artifact for her exhibit.
The two lock up and it's A18 starting things off with a Biel throw. A18 delivers some Knife edge chops to Olya, Olya eventually blocks one and unloads with some of her own. This concludes when A18 takes Olya down with a clothesline. A18 kicks the back of Olya's leg, dropping her to one knee and delivers some Shin strikes. Olya catches one and traps A18 in a Sombo Knee Bar. A18 manages to reach out and grab a rope. Olya stays in control lifting A18 up for a Dragon Suplex. Olya lifts A18 up for an Airplane Spin, then slams her down with a Rolling Fireman's Carry Slam for two. Olya tries for a Standard American Frankensteiner but is instead planted via Sitout Powerbomb from A18. A18 charges at Olya delivering a Leaping clothesline. A18 uses a drop toe hold to drape Olya on the middle rope, then delivers a Tiger feint kick. A18 follows up with Graceful Orbit (Lionsalt) for two. A18 delivers some Non-stop Violence (Spinning headlock elbow drop). A18 brings Olya to her feet where she looks for Power Blitz (Bionic elbow), but Olya quickly gets behind A18 and lifts her for a German Suplex. Olya delivers a Snapmare with Rolling Neck Snap. Olya stays in control by locking A18 in a Front Facelock, before lifting A18 up for a Fisherwoman's Suplex. Olya bounces off the ropes and her plan is thwarted by a Super Electric Strike (Striking spear)! A18 wrings the arm of Olya before finishing her off with Buster Swing (Inverted stomp facebreaker) for a successful three count.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, ANDROID 18!
Mike Vincent: A competitive match up between these two friends, and it's Android 18 who stands tall.
Cole Haywood: If what I'm reading on Twitter is accurate, I believe they're a little more than just friends, Mike.
Mike Vincent: You don't even have a Twitter account and you're reading Olya and Android's timelines?
Cole Haywood: I'm a commentator seeking out information on the people I'm commentating. I'm doing my job, Vincent, you should do yours sometime.
Gus Ramos raises the arm of Android 18. A18 helps Olya get to her feet, the two shaking hands before raising their arms high.
Mike Vincent: They brought out the best in each other tonight, if this tandem sticks together I would not want to cross paths with them.
-----
Danny Hall is backstage when Craig Brooks approaches him.
Danny Hall: Don't even start. I'm not in the mood for your crappy games. That little weasel Acer Stone cost me MY AXW Light Heavyweight Championship. Ergh, just saying his name makes we to vomit. You go find Acer Stone and you tell him that he's gonna regret the decision of even coming back to AXW.
Danny Hall storms off.
-----
PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT!
The lights in the arena all cut to black and the Tron comes to life, pulsating with a green light as a quiet beat gets louder with every flash. It gets faster and faster, and louder with each pulse, until the pulsating light explodes into the words "Blazenwing Rises" and “The Phoenix” by Fall Out Boy blares across the arena sound system.
You are a brick tied to me that's dragging me down
Strike a match and I'll burn you to the ground
We are the jack-o-lanterns in July
Setting fire to the sky
He-here comes this rising tide
So come on
PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT!
The stage fills with smoke and the crowd rises to their feet, cheering loudly, as the smoke clears on the stage and a man in a dark green trenchcoat stands, head down, facing the Tron. He raises his hands and snaps his fingers, causing four loud bursts of pyro to ignite, two on each side of him, before spinning around Y2J style to reveal David Slayton!
Salvatore Pellegrino: This is your Main Event scheduled for one fall, and is a First Round Match in the AXW Championship Number One Contender's Tournament, introducing first, representing Tru Revolution, wrestling out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, weighing 245 pounds, here is "The New Hotness" DAVID SLAYTON!
Cross walks and crossed hearts and hope-to-dies
Silver clouds with grey linings
So we can take the world back from the heart-attacked
One maniac at a time we will take it back
You know time crawls on when you're waiting for the song to start
So dance alone to the beat of your heart
His sunglasses shining with the glare from the arena lights, David looks to the left, then to the right, nodding towards the crowd before walking down the ramp. After stopping to slap hands with a few fans, David moves towards the ring steps and hops up and down a few times in front of them before quickly racing up the steps to the apron side facing the stage. He stops and pulls his sunglasses off, then tosses them behind his head into the crowd before leaning down and stepping through the ropes to enter the ring.
Hey young blood
Doesn't it feel like our time is running out?
I'm gonna change you like a remix
Then I'll raise you like a phoenix
You're wearing our vintage misery
No, I think it looked a little better on me
I'm gonna change you like a remix
Then I'll raise you like a phoenix
David walks across the ring and leaps up onto the second rope in the corner nearest the timekeeper, then pulls off his green trenchcoat and tosses it towards the timekeeper. David smirks and points to the fans, then slaps his chest a few times and points up towards the sky, closing his eyes and saying a short prayer. David leaps down from the corner and immediately turns to sit down in the same corner, ala Raven. David then rests his head on the second turnbuckle pad as his theme fades and the crowd continues cheering.
As Footsteps by Pop Evil begins to blare through the speakers of the arena, Ryan comes out from behind the curtain. He stands and looks out into the crowd.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponent, wrestling out of Tampa, Florida, weighing 195 pounds, "The World Class Workhorse" RYAN STARR!
He then runs down the ramp, hitting hands with the fans and slides into the ring. Then he goes up onto the ropes and bounces on them, trying to get the fans all hyped up for the match. He then jumps in the ring a little to get warped up to face his opponent.

Ryan Starr unloads with some kicks to the larger Slayton. Starr runs off the ropes and Slayton takes him down with a shoulder check. Slayton runs the ropes and is taken down with a stunning dropkick from Starr. Slayton rolls out of the ring from the impact. Starr bounces off the ropes and sprints across the ring, darting through the ropes with a Suicide Dive, a crack is heard as Slayton lands back first on the metal ramp. Salvatore Pellegrino: Advancing to the Second Round, DAVID SLAYTON!
Mike Vincent: What a match and unfortunately for Ryan Starr, David Slayton wants a third AXW Championship reign.
Cole Haywood: I'm not the biggest fan of either guy, but these two can bring it. However, should David Slayton make it through the rest of this tournament, he has to deal with Steve Corman who ended Slayton's second reign, and will likely end Slayton's hopes of a third.
Matt Baker raises the arm of David Slayton. David takes the time to celebrate, and helps up a coming to Starr. The two shake hands and Slayton raises the arm of Starr.
Mike Vincent: Nice to see some good sportsmanship as we close out the show, good night everyone, the AXW Championship Number One Contender's Tournament continues next week!
