Cloud is backstage and talks about his win over Clifford Bradley. Cloud says this might just be the start of him finally getting something going. After defeating a former Xperience Champion, perhaps he might have an opportunity for that title sometime soon.

A more one sided affair as Alundra-Yoon delivers a number of her big maneuvers, but Cheyenne was able to get a little offense in. The match concludes with an Alundra Bomb [Double Jump Moonsault].

Katsuko Nakamoto and her translator April Maeda are backstage, where they discuss Rochelle's involvement in her match last week. Katsuko says that a win over Janet Hurricane would've put her back into title contention. Katsuko realizes that more title opportunities will come to her in the future, but tonight hopes to show Rochelle what happens when you get in Katsuko's way.

This match ended up being more back and forth than the previous matches of the night, some moves from Chae-Won include Double Jump Springboard Crossbody, Fire Ribbon [Wheelbarrow transitioned into a Sunset Flip rolled into a Matchbook Pin], Diving Hurricanrana, Quebrada [Springboard Moonsault]. From Megan we see Uranage Backbreaker, Diving Knee Attack, Fisherman Brainbuster, and Tiger Suplex. The match comes to an end when Chae-Won nails Megan with a Tidal Wave [Corner Double Jump Springboard Enzuigiri].

Bobo Sweetcakes is interviewed about his loss to David Slayton. Bobo assures that what happened two years ago will not happen again and that he and David Slayton are as close as ever. Bobo respects David Slayton, but does not respect Anthony Royal after he made a mockery of a souffle at Breakdown. Bobo says he's the bigger man and has not gotten involved in his matches during the tournament. Bobo says he wants one final match against Anthony Royal, and should Royal win this whole tournament and the championship, he wants that match for the AXW Championship.

Gabe Shelley states his disappointment in not making it out of the first round of the tournament. He does have faith in his partner David Slayton going all the way to his third AXW Championship. Gabe says that a new year is coming up, and by the end of 2017, he will have held the AXW Championship, a goal he has set since he's been here.

A solid Light Heavyweight match that sees the following notable moves from Ryan Starr: Suicide dive, Sunset flip powerbomb, Springboard frankensteiner to an opponent seated on the top rope, Inverted overdrive, Double jump moonsault, and Russian legsweep from the second rope. Notable moves from the champ include Sling blade, Hurricanrana, Springboard 450 to a standing opp., Snapmare driver, Gassed Out (Rear Naked Choke), and Rocket Shot (Running single leg dropkick). Ryan Starr would try to set up Burning Flames (Diving somersault neckbreaker), but Eatr would plant him with To the Moon (Top Rope Sitout-Powerbomb).
