vs.
AXW Championship
#1 Contender's Tournament
Semi-Finals
David Slayton is able to deliver a number of his big moves, such as Double Underhook Backbreaker, Samoan Drop, Sit-Out Facebuster, Dragon Sleeper, Death Valley Driver. Chaz Anix on the other hand was unable to get any offense in. Frustrated, Chaz Anix rolls out of the ring, grabs his Xperience Championship, and gets the hell out of the arena.
Winner: David Slayton (via count out, Chaz Anix still AXW Xperience Champion, advances to Finals)

Steve Corman is interviewed by Renee Peltier. Renee asks for Steve's thoughts on David Slayton making it to the finals to which Steve responds that he doesn't care, as he defeated David Slayton to win the AXW Championship in the first place and it would happen again. Renee brings up the "elephant in the room" of his protege Damien Steele doing well in the tournament and is one win away from facing David Slayton in the finals. Steve Corman states that should Steele make it all the way to Winterslam, he trusts Steele will be smart enough to allow the title be awarded to his mentor, the reason Steele is still relevant, Steve Corman.

vs.
The two frustrated men have a hard hitting affair, from Danny we see Throat Chop, Clothesline, Running Knee, Enziguri, and Release Powerbomb. From Acer we see Drop Kick, Disaster Kick, Discus Elbow Smash, Flying Forearm Smash, and Stone Cutter (Axe Kick). The match concludes in disqualification when Danny just has enough and unloads on Acer with a steel chair.
Winner: Acer Stone
Somewhere backstage, Trent Mathews is sitting on a couch, wearing glasses with a clipboard in his hands, leaning in intently at whatever is happening in front of them and taking notes. On the other end of the couch, Ricky Diamond is taking pictures of whatever is happening on his phone. In between them is Sam De Santa, hands in her face. We finally see that what they're looking at is the continuing auditions to find the new Chicks and America Bouncing Bikini Babes. Some attractive bikini clad woman is jumping up and down on a mini trampoline.
Trent Mathews: Thank you, that's enough. We'll contact you if we're interested.
The woman walks off.
Trent Mathews: So what did you guys think? She seemed to have great enthusiasm as well as a great bounce.
Ricky Diamond: She had a great bounce alright...
Trent Mathews: Sam, what say you?
Sam De Santa: Well, Trent, as a straight female I don't quite get the same pleasure out of this as you guys do.
Trent Mathews: So you're saying we should expand our opportunities and be searching for Chicks and America Bouncing Bikini Bros as well?
Sam De Santa: Is that an option?--No, that's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is you have a great manager, me, who can help you win matches, so I don't see why you need these distractions at ringside.
Ricky Diamond: Oh, I get it, she's jealous. Well, if you want the part, all you had to do was ask, we'll get you a bikini. What's your bust size?
Sam De Santa: I'm not telling you that! Look, this isn't the same Chicks and America as three years ago, you don't need bouncing bikini babes or nunchucks or whatever you had before, what you need is right here on this couch, a manager that will lead you to the top, a place you're not familiar with as a team.
Ricky Diamond: Yeah, I guess we're not the same team we were three years ago. I mean, you're way hotter than Hoffman LeGrand ever was!
Sam De Santa: ...Thank you?
Ricky Diamond: Perhaps we should still continue with the auditions though, you know, for... scientific reasons.
Sam lets out a loud sigh before we head back to ringside.

vs.
A fairly back and forth matchup. Maneuvers from Rochelle include Swinging Neckbreaker, Diving Crossbody, Inverted Headscissors Stinkface, followed by a Mule Kick, I.P.A (I'm Prettier Anyway) [Sitout Facebuster], and Best Assault Ever [Jumping Hip Attack, to an oncoming opponent]. Notable offense from Katsuko includes Dragon Suplex, Octopus Stretch, Brainbuster, Hātosutoppā (Kairi Hojo-style Diving Elbow Drop), and Crescent Moon (Running Curved Corner Yakuza Kick). Following the Crescent Moon, Rochelle rolls out of the ring where she is attacked by Janet Hurricane, ending the match in disqualification. This doesn't sit well with Katsuko, who dives out onto the both of them with a Suicide Dive.
Winner: Rochelle

A video package plays, highlighting a certain man's career in USWF, EWS, SWA, LGW, PHWF, AXW, and Empire Wrestling. The video package concludes with the following text:
The Notch
Returning to AXW in 2017
vs.
Non-Title
A highly competitive tag team contest. BatJ show a lot of aggression and come close several times, but fall to World War 3 [Axe Guillotine Driver/WMD Driver(Wyndham) + Pile Driver(TO'A)].
Winner: Lethal Weapons

Duncan Aries is backstage and he's not happy. He says that every time he comes close to recapturing the AXW Championship, something is there to stop him. He says that he would have won this whole tournament and beat Steve Corman once again, but that waste of space Malcolm M. Mitchell prevented him from doing so. And for what reason? To try to make people try to care about him? No one ever has and no one ever will. Malcolm needs to learn his place and needs to finally accept he will never be more than a mediocre wrestler and will never be on the same level as Duncan Aries.
