Saturday, January 21 2017 Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Episode XXII
We open to the Before the Bell set in the backstage area. Sat at the desk are the usual suspects. John Hendon: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Before the Bell. I'm John Hendon joined by Zack Fields... Zack Fields: That's me. John Hendon: ...and former AXW Tag Team Champion Zoey Mathews-Mitchell. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: Seven months pregnant and I'm still coming all the way up to Edmonton to do Before the Bell. You guys are lucky I like you otherwise I'd probably pass on the nine hour flight here and be at home where it's 75 degrees. John Hendon: We appreciate that, always nice to have your presence. Before we get rolling with the show, it's a new year, you guys got any resolutions? Zack Fields: I'm gonna start hitting the gym. By this time next year, I'll be 335 pounds of pure muscle. John Hendon: Seeing as you're about 80 pounds soaking wet as of now, I would really like to see that. Zo, how about you? Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: I'm not really one for resolutions, as long as I'm a good wife and mother that's all that really matters. Of course, I also really want to get back in the ring with my trusty kendo stick. What about you, John? John Hendon: Well, there's no point in bringing mine up if they're all already broken... Zack Fields: You really couldn't make it three weeks, huh? John Hendon: Let's move on with the actual show here, a lot to talk about tonight, let's start with the tag team match between Android 18 and Olya Oglovska and Katsuko Nakamoto and Lizzy Knoxxx. Zack Fields: Android 18 and Olya Oglovska claim to be AXW's "it couple", they have been in a relationship for some time now, meanwhile the only times Katsuko Nakamoto and Lizzy Knoxxx have shared a ring have been as opponents. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: You'd think Knoxxx and Nakamoto would be at the disadvantage, especially since the latter has only been at this for half a year, but they're both well versed in the ring. Whether or not they can co-exist as a team is questionable, but I don't see why they couldn't. John Hendon: I'm gonna have to say that A18 and Oglovska leave this one victorious. Zack Fields: I agree, these two are looking to take control of the whole women's division and it's gonna start with Knoxxx and Nakamoto tonight. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: I'm going with Katsuko and Lizzy. I'm a big fan of both these girls, and as I've said in the past, I'd love to face Lizzy in a Hardcore Match sometime. John Hendon: Moving on to a more heated rivalry, we have Duncan Aries vs. Malcolm M. Mitchell. Zack Fields: This one stems all the way back to June at AXW vs. BWF: Domination when Duncan Aries and Jonathan Fhenix attacked Malcolm who was scheduled to compete on Team AXW in the Main Event. Since then Malcolm has been a thorn in the side of the Alliance of Truth, and now that they have disbanded, has solely focused on Duncan Aries. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: Malcolm is only doing what he feels is right. Them attacking him not only affects him, it affects me as well as our son. They very well could have attacked him to the point of him having a career ending injury, which means he has no job to help provide for our son, but thankfully that's not the case. Win lose or draw, I assure you Malcolm will do his best to ensure that Aries remembers who exactly he tried messing with. John Hendon: It's safe to say that Zoey is picking Malcolm here, I'll also say Malcolm, especially considering a win over the Hall of Famer will do wonders for his career. Zack Fields: Let's analyze those words you just said: Hall of Famer. Duncan Aries was inducted into the Hall of Fame this past summer, he could've taken that title and hang up his boots and relax by the pool in San Diego, but he didn't. He is still an active competitor in AXW and has the one title that no one else on the roster has: Hall of Famer. Malcolm M. Mitchell is a great competitor, sure, but what does he have to back it up? Two measly tag title reigns? Duncan Aries is going to prove why he's the best here at the expense of Malcolm M. Mitchell tonight. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: One of these days that mouth of yours will get you in trouble with the wrong person. John Hendon: Before we develop a new rivalry here, let's move on to our next contest of Anthony Royal vs. Bobo Sweetcakes. Zack Fields: When Anthony Royal first arrived on the scene he picked up quite a winning streak, save for a Battle Royal, and that's when Bobo Sweetcakes returned and ruined everything. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: Bobo Sweetcakes of course is a former Adrenaline Champion, originally winning the title in All-Star Wrestling back in 2014 and brought the title with him when he was drafted to AXW and ASW closed. Just looking at his name you might not think he's a serious threat, but he's easily one of the best competitors on any roster let alone AXW's. The same can also be said for Anthony Royal who holds a lot of accolades to his name. This one's gonna be a good one, and I think Bobo Sweetcakes will win. John Hendon: I'm actually gonna go Anthony Royal on this one, this guy has a lot of frustration towards Bobo which I don't think will bode well for him. Zack Fields: Anthony Royal all the way. John Hendon: Now we move on to the championship matches, beginning with the AXW Tag Team Championships which will be defended in a Gauntlet Match between the champions Lethal Weapons and the challengers Tru Revolution, Beauty and the Jekyll, and Chicks and America. Zack Fields: A lot going on here. Let's start with the champions. Today is day 203 of their title reign. That is the second longest reign of any title in AXW's history. The first longest reign is held by Hand of Blood, a 229 day reign with those same tag team championships. Lethal Weapons are just 26 days away from tying that record, but there's a significant roadblock in front of them. You have Beauty and the Jekyll, a team ready to break out but haven't quite yet. They have defeated former tag team champions in the past so this team should not be slept on. You have Chicks and America, who only have two wins as a team since their inception back in 2013. Those two wins have come in the past few months, so maybe they're starting to get things slowly rolling for them. Then you have Tru Revolution - David Slayton and Gabe Shelley - two multi-time world champions and hall of famers, but haven't done a whole lot as a team in AXW, though they did defeat Chicks and America and Beauty and the Jekyll at Breakdown, so they do know how to defeat two out of their three opponents. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: I do have a few goals when I return to the ring, and one of them is to return to the tag division. Due to my feud with Janet Hurricane I never got a chance to actually defend the title when the Takeover were champions. Should that goal of mine come to fruition sooner rather than later, I wouldn't mind facing Tru Revolution for the titles. These are two of the most experienced guys on the roster and I think they dethrone Lethal Weapons tonight. John Hendon: They certainly have the ability to do so, but Lethal Weapons have knocked down all challengers and despite being against the odds tonight, I feel like their domination will continue. Zack Fields: There's a lot of variables and unknowns here, and if you look at past Tag Team Gauntlet Matches in AXW, you should know that the unexpected can happen. Remember when Hand of Blood tore through every team and lost to Cross City Stallions in the end? Or how about when the Kingdom Cripplers won an entire Gauntlet and shocked everyone? Beauty and the Jekyll have been on the verge of breaking out and I believe tonight is their night. John Hendon: Alright ladies and gentlemen, we're gonna take a break and send it to ringside for a special Before the Bell exclusive match, and after that we'll be back with more analysis. ----- "How Sweet to be an Idiot" by Neil Innes as Cloud comes out of the curtains with one hand on his pocket and the other hand holding a lighter. He flicks the lighter and stares at the flame as if he was in a trance and then he points up at the sky, saying, "Rest in Peace Sensei." Cloud puts the lighter back in his pocket and makes his way to the ring. Jen Brunelli: This contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, wrestling out of Los Angeles, California, weighing 210 pounds, CLOUD! He slaps hands with almost every fans and then later regrets leaving few fans hanging before entering the ring. Cloud then goes to the nearest corner and sits down like Raven, patiently waiting for the match to start Sean steps forward on the stage wearing his black signature T-Shirt and holding a black flag. On the black flag, written with white letters is "The Anarchist" and Sean's face drawn beside it. Jen Brunelli: His opponent, wrestling out of California, weighing 218 pounds, "The Anarchist" SEAN BLACK! He walks to the ring and climbs on the turnbuckle. Sean puts the flag on the turnbuckle, raises his arms above his head and then gets down from the turnbuckle and into the ring, hyped for his match. TALE OF THE TAPE |

The two go to lock up but Black ends up just kicking Cloud in the gut. Black plants Cloud to the mat with a DDT. Grabbing Cloud's arm, Black delivers some Arm trap elbow strikes. Black sends Cloud to the ropes where Black executes an Arm trap swinging neckbreaker for barely a two count. Black whips Cloud to the corner and runs after him, but Cloud gets his boot up. Cloud quickly pulls himself up to the second rope and leaps off for a Tornado DDT. Cloud runs towards the ropes where he hits Black with a Handspring back elbow. Cloud bounces off the ropes and strikes Black with a running single leg high knee. Cloud climbs up the turnbuckles and dives off with Cloud 9 (Diving Moonsault to standing opponent), earning a two count. Cloud now sends Black to the corner, where Black floats over an oncoming Cloud and traps him in a Rope hung arm trap can opener, breaking at Jessie McCormick's count of four. Black stays on the apron before re-entering the ring via Springboard clothesline. Black lifts Cloud up for a Sitout suplex slam for a two count. The two get up and Black nails Cloud with a Roundhouse kick. Cloud falls to the mat and ends up rolling out of the ring. Black runs the ropes for momentum and looks to attack Cloud with a Suicide dive, but Cloud is able to hit him with a forearm as he starts to duck through the ropes. Cloud climbs onto the apron and drives Black skull first with a Grey Sky (Snap DDT onto the ring apron). Cloud gets Black back into the ring and goes for a cover but Black kicks out at the last second. Cloud lifts Black up and slams him with Drift Away (Lifting Inverted DDT). Cloud awaits for Black to get to his feet, and when he does Cloud approaches him, only to get suddenly lifted up for a Spinebuster. Cloud gets back to his feet, where Black hooks his head and brings him to the mat, locking him in The Choke (Kendrick's Captain's hook)! Cloud is reaching in every direction, trying to grab any rope he can. Cloud is not wanting to tap out, causing Black to wrench back on it even more, which forces Cloud's hand to slap the mat repeatedly.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner by submission, SEAN BLACK!
"This Fire Burns" plays throughout the arena once more, with Sean Black still having his hold applied, only breaking once McCormick threatens to reverse the decision. Black walks to the turnbuckle where he left his flag, grabs it, and climbs to the second rope and holds his flag out. Sean drapes the flag around him as he exits the arena.
-----
We return to the Before the Bell set.
John Hendon: Nearly a twenty year veteran is Sean Black, and he's continuing to prove his worth to the AXW faithful.
Zack Fields: He certainly could take AXW by storm, and I for one would be ready to accept that.
Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: Let's not just sweep Cloud under the rug, he may not be in the best of ways right now with his win-loss record, but once he gets his footing here, he'll be a star too.
John Hendon: You know who had trouble finding their footing? Ben Eatr, and look where he is now, AXW Light Heavyweight Champion defending against Danny Hall and Acer Stone in a Triple Threat Match tonight.
Zack Fields: This one dates back to last year's Winterslam when then Light Heavyweight Champion Danny Hall defended the title in a TLC Match against Acer Stone. Both men came down with possession of the championship, and thus both declared the champion. It ended poorly for Stone, who was injured for months after being pushed off a ladder from inside the ring to the outside. Months later Danny Hall is champion again, and once again finds himself being co-champion with Acer Stone after they both miraculously managed to draw again.
Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: These two co-reigns have really made Danny and Acer grow to just despise each other. Because of that, Ben Eatr was able to come in and win the title from them at Breakdown. At the end of the day, I'm gonna go with the underdog and say that Acer Stone breaks out and is able to hold the title on his own.
Zack Fields: Since coming to AXW Danny Hall's career has really elevated, winning titles both here and in BWF. He has two reigns as AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, both of which lasted 133 days. He's tied with himself for second longest single reign, and with both reigns combined he has held that title longer than anyone. Danny Hall has become the best Light Heavyweight AXW has ever seen, which is why tonight he's gonna become an unprecedented three-time AXW Light Heavyweight Champion.
John Hendon: I'm going with Ben Eatr here. This guy took a while to finally get some momentum going and with Stone and Hall at each other's throats, that might just make it easier for him.
Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: From the Light Heavyweight Championship we move to the AXW Xperience Championship where the self-professed true face of AXW, Chaz Anix, is hosting an Open Challenge.
Zack Fields: Chaz Anix is another guy who took a while to get something going for him, recently coming off a feud with Clifford Bradley for the title. For those unaware, the Xperience Championship is a rather unique one, where the title is defended in every singles match the champion is in. If the champion holds the title for ninety consecutive days, they can redeem the title for any another championship match of their choosing.
John Hendon: It has been redeemed three times in its history, by the first champion David Slayton, by the second champion Starla Gardevoir, and by the seventh champion Bruiser Lazzou. All three redemptions were for the AXW Championship and all three were successful.
Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: Interestingly enough, two of those three gave their opponents a heads up. David Slayton is the only one to redeem on a weakened opponent.
Zack Fields: Moving back to the actual match, not a whole lot to talk about as we don't know who Anix's opponent will be, but I think Anix has the confidence to call out anyone in the world and walk out victorious.
John Hendon: I think it's too unpredictable, if Anix leaves tonight still Xperience Champion it will be because of his champion's advantage.
Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: Whoever accepts the Open Challenge will be leaving Winterslam as the new Xperience Champion.
Zack Fields: Moving on to the AXW Women's Championship, champion Janet Hurricane defends against challenger Rochelle.
John Hendon: Rochelle is one of a few newcomers to the Women's Division, and actually draws some parallels to Katsuko Nakamoto, who came to AXW and immediately found herself in the title picture. Can Rochelle split the parallel there and leave tonight as Women's Champion?
Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: Rochelle has a lot of confidence, which is good, you'll need confidence otherwise you're not going to get anywhere. However, I don't think she realizes how dangerous Janet Hurricane can choose to be. I know I'm sounding like a broken record at this point, but I'm the only one here who can really attest to that. I have scars from my wars with Janet that will last me a lifetime. If Janet Hurricane is willing to throw someone--me--from the top of a ladder through a flaming table on the arena floor in a match where titles aren't even on our minds, imagine how far Janet could go in a match where she's fighting to keep what belongs to her. I'm not trying to knock Rochelle here, I'm sure she'll hold that title numerous times in the future, but not as long as Janet Hurricane is champion.
John Hendon: I'm inclined to agree with you, Rochelle has a bright future but Janet Hurricane will remain at the top of the Women's Division when the night is over.
Zack Fields: You talk about how dangerous Janet Hurricane can be, yet we don't know how dangerous Rochelle can be. Who's to say she can't be more dangerous than Janet Hurricane? I'm going with Rochelle here.
John Hendon: And that takes us to the Main Event. Steve Corman faces his last remaining Steve Corman Guy, Damien Steele, for the vacated AXW Championship.
Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: It's been brought up that he's the last remaining Steve Corman Guy, but let's not forget he was also the first Steve Corman Guy. Look at the list of the other Steve Corman Guys - Jack Adams, Ethan Cutler, Caitlin Shay - all people who aren't even in the company anymore, and while they've come and gone, Damien Steele has stood by Steve Corman every step of the way.
John Hendon: And when it's all said and done we have to wonder, are they still going to be aligned?
Zack Fields: Of course they will. Damien knows that the title belongs to Steve Corman, that's why he had to make sure he won this tournament, to ensure that Steve Corman gets his title back.
Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: After seeing what Damien has said on social media, I'm not so sure about that.
Zack Fields: It's all a ploy, it's what Damien does best.
John Hendon: Well we're running out of time here, let's get to the predictions for this match. I'm gonna say that Damien has put in a valiant effort, but ultimately, Steve Corman becomes a two-time AXW Champion tonight.
Zack Fields: As I said, the title belongs to Corman and Steele knows that. Corman leaves as champ.
Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: Damien Steele - although sometimes with underhanded tactics - has been busting his ass off in AXW since 2014. Tonight will be the culmination of all of that as he wins the AXW Championship.
John Hendon: Thank you for tuning in everyone, if you aren't already, make sure to head over to The Federation Network to watch Winterslam!

Saturday, January 21, 2017 Rogers Place Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Winterslam IIAfter the intro packages, pyro blasts from the stage, ramp, and Alternatron. The cameras then pan across the crowd. Lily Luna: Ladies and gentlemen thank you for tuning into AXW's first show of 2017, this is Winterslam! Coming to you live from Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, I'm Lily Luna joined by Chris Pierce and Cole Haywood. Cole Haywood: A lot of great action in store for tonight, every title will be contested for and some rivalries come to an end. Chris Pierce: We're gonna be capping the night off with Steve Corman vs. Damien Steele for the AXW Championship, but we're gonna kick the night off with a Gauntlet Match for the AXW Tag Team Championships. Jen Brunelli: This next contest is a Tag Team Gauntlet Match for the AXW Tag Team Championships! The four participating teams will enter at a random order. The last team remaining will be the AXW Tag Team Champions! The fans pop to the opening guitar riff of "My Own Worst Enemy", as out walks Sam De Santa followed by Trent Mathews and Ricky Diamond. They stop on the stage, high five each other, and walk down the ramp, slapping the hands of the fans. Jen Brunelli: Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Sam De Santa, at a combined weight of 422 pounds, Ricky Diamond and Trent Mathews, CHICKS AND AMERICA! Trent and Ricky slide into the ring and pose for the crowd as their music fades out. "Cut the Cord" starts as Micheal walks out and drops down to one knee and holds up his arms then Bray walks out in his hat and coat and puts his hands on Mike's shoulders and slaps them, then Micheal stands and they both walk down Jen Brunelli: Introducing next, wrestling out of Hoboken, New Jersey, at a combined weight of 471 pounds, Michael Veaga and Bray Coleman, BEAUTY AND THE JEKYLL! then Bray crouches down to remove his hat then his coat and he runs into the ring and lays on the mat staring at his opponent(s) while Micheal climbs up to the apron and climbs to the second rope and does a warrior shout while pounding his chest, then he jumps down to the ring. Coleman and Diamond begin the match with a back and forth exchange, with Diamond gaining the upperhand from a roaring elbow. He works Bray over with some signatures moves, connecting with a superkick to a seated Coleman as well as The Diamond Spiral before tagging in Mathews, who quickly plants Coleman with a pumphandle drop followed by a pin attempt, but he barely gets a two count. Trent sets Bray up for Trent the Ninja (Shiranui) and another pin, again coming up with just a two count. The tag to Diamond comes and he ascends to the top rope, but his attempt at The Bearded Dragon (flying top rope karate chop) fails, giving Bray the opening he needs to tag in Veaga! Veaga easily overwhelms Diamond with a shoulder block, running lariat, and finally a side slam, which invokes Trent to interfere – only to get caught with a Strongman Spinebuster for his efforts. Veaga sees his opening and drops Diamond with the Freak-Out (Muscle Buster) followed by a pin fall for the win. Jen Brunelli: Chicks and America have been eliminated! "When the lights go up and the game is on Are you ready for me? 'Cause I'm ready for you When the bell rings out and the fight is on Are you ready for me? 'Cause I'm ready for you " "Game On" by Disciple blares out as Justin Wyndham and TO'A aka Lethal Weapons comes out of the curtains "When the lights go up and the game is on Are you ready for me? 'Cause I'm ready for you When the bell rings out and the fight is on Are you ready for me? 'Cause I'm ready for you " Justin bends down in one knee and looks at this imaginary watch, similar to CM Punk. TO'A is beside him with his signature towel drenched in blood and wrapped around his neck as he is looking down at the ground. Jen Brunelli: Next, at a combined weight of 490 pounds, they are the defending AXW Tag Team Champions, Justin Wyndham and TO'A, LETHAL WEAPONS! "It's time for us to start throwing down Take a look and see who's standing now It's time for us to start throwing down Look and see who's standing now " Justin does the cutthroat before getting up. Justin runs full speed to the ring and then around the ring, hyping up the fans while TO'A slowly makes his way down the ring, still not showing his face. Justin then slides into the ring and then bang his head to the nearest turnbuckle, hyping himself up before looking back at the crowd with a sick smile as TO'A walks up the steel steps and enters the ring. Justin then climbs at the turnbuckle and does the cuthroat sign before getting off while TO'A throws his towel on the mat and does a battle cry before the theme fades TO’A begins against the unscathed Veaga while Bray continues to recover. Veaga handles TO’A and the two trade punches until TO’A gets rattled by a hard right, giving Veaga the opening he needs. A chop, punch, and knee to the gut lead to Veaga running the ropes and taking TO’A down with a lariat. With TO’A downed, Veaga drops a knee, and then another, before climbing the ropes next to Bray, who tags himself in while Veaga attempts – and connects – with a missile dropkick. Bray enters the ring and immediately hits TO’A with a running senton and a pin attempt follows, but TO’A kicks out easily. Bray tries to go back to work, but TO’A refuses to let Bray lift him for a suplex and delivers one of his own instead. He tags in Wyndham and Bray tags in Veaga. The two exchange blows with ferocity until TO’A takes Vaega out from behind with a shoulder to the knee, giving Wyndham the opening he needs for a Muay Thai combination and then the World’s Most Wanted (Steve Vick-like Superkick). A pin comes in thereafter, but Bray is able to break it up. Unfortunately for him, he only delays the inevitable, as TO’A gives Bray Sweet Dreams (running arched big boot) and Wyndham gets the pin on Veaga anyway. Jen Brunelli: Beauty and the Jekyll have been eliminated! "The Right Direction" takes over the sound system as Gabe Shelley and David Slayton makes their way out onto the stage. They look at each other, nod, and David removes his trenchcoat and sunglasses while Gabe removes his vest as they simultaneously make their way down to the ring. Jen Brunelli: The final team, at a combined weight of 465 pounds, David Slayton and Gabe Shelley, TRU REVOLUTION! Tru Revolution make their way down to the ring. Wyndham takes control of the match squaring off against Shelley courtesy a timely kick to the knee. With Shelley hunched down, a DDT is delivered and a tag is made to TO’A. The duo team up to deliver a clothesline/leg sweep combo, then TO’A attempts a pin, but Shelley is resilient. TO’A brings him to his feet and whips him to the corner, following behind with a lariat. Shelley takes the blow and then seats himself in the corner, leading to TO’A attempting the Samoan Wrecking Ball – only for Slayton to yank Shelley out of the ring just before impact. TO’A laughs, and immediately runs the ropes before diving out of the ring for Elbow Suicida, a suicide dive transitioned into a flying forearm smash! Wyndham joins the festivities when Tru Revolution make it back to their feet with a slingshot plancha, and the champions – in clear control – re-enter the ring as referee Matt Baker starts the count out. Shelley re-enters and the ref keeps TO’A at bay to prevent an ambush, much to his dismay. He charges Shelley, but Shelley delivers a dropkick to the knee, forcing TO’A down and causes him to crash throat-first into the middle rope. Shelley delivers a Jersey Cutter (Twist of Fate) to the reeling TO’A before tagging in Slayton, who immediately wrenches on a front headlock to keep TO’A down. TO’A is able to make it to the ropes, so Slayton breaks the hold, but wastes no time working TO’A over with some suplexes, slams, and various strikes. TO’A has no answer, and Wyndham is forced to watch anxiously from the apron. Shelley receives the tag to re-enter and does it with style – I’m A Bird, Motherf**cker (springboard leg drop from the apron)! A pin attempt, but TO’A gets a shoulder up. He brings TO’A to his feet for The reVolt (Cradle Shock) and tries again to pin, but this time Wyndham is there to break it up. Slayton takes exception to this and enters himself, taking Wyndham down with a Lou Thesz Press and then delivering some mounted punches! Wyndham rolls to reverse, and they continue until they fall out of the ring, leaving Shelley and TO’A alone. Shelley decides to bring out his old finisher, the Junkyard Jam (pedigree), and has TO’A in position. He locks the arms, but before he can execute the maneuver, Wyndham is back! He saw what was happening, escaped Slayton’s grasp, and breaks it up with a running dropkick to the back of the head! Slayton is right behind and immediately takes Wyndham down with a clothesline, but the opening has been given, and TO’A takes advantage of it to recover. By the time TO’A reaches his feet, Shelley is to his, but TO’A is able to avoid a few punches before charging Shelley and driving him into the corner, then delivering a few shoulder thrusts to the gut! TO’A turns his back to Wyndham to taunt Slayton, then promptly delivers the Executioner (jumping twisting enziguri) to Shelley! TO’A gets back to his feet, yanks Shelley to his, and declares his intentions: “FOR SAMOA!” But Shelley is able to deliver a sharp elbow to his side and escape his grasp and make a tag. TO’A, really hurting from that strike, makes his own, and Slayton and Wyndham are now the legal men. They exchanged ducked clothesline and neckbreaker combos, then tie up, and Slayton emerges the better after reversing a headlock into a back suplex, followed by a failed pin attempt. Slayton loses the momentum from there as Wyndham delivers some unanswered stirkes, but Slayton recovers nicely with a counter to Wyndham’s attempted tornado DDT, instead throwing him off to land face down on the mat. Seeing his opportunity, Slayton attempts The Full Effect, but Wyndham dodges before trying World’s Most Wanted, and it connects! A pin comes in, and the ref counts it out: One! Two! Three! Jen Brunelli: Here are your winners, and STILL the AXW Tag Team Champions, LETHAL WEAPONS! Lily Luna: Perhaps the biggest win thus far for Justin Wyndham and TO'A, we have to wonder at this point, who's going to be the team to stop them? Chris Pierce: I personally feel like it might be a while before we get that answer. Cole Haywood: And until then, Justin and TO'A sit comfortably at the top. "Game On" replays as Matt Baker hands the Tag Team Championships to Justin and TO'A. The two raise their titles high in celebration. Tru Revolution come to, and with both teams standing in the middle of the ring, they shake hands. Slayton and Shelley head to the back while Justin and TO'A continue to celebrate. ----- A video package airs, highlighting the career thus far of Steve Corman in AXW. From his official signing at Anarchy 2015, to his battles with David Slayton, to the formation of the Steve Corman Guys and him winning the AXW Championship on AXW Ep. 37 on May 14, 2016. It continues to show his successful title defenses afterward at AXW vs. BWF: Domination, Rise, and Anarchy. It ends with the recent shot of him and Damien Steele shaking hands at AXW Ep. 58. Steve Corman vs. Damien Steele TONIGHT for the AXW Championship----- “Say Hello” blares over the PA system as Anthony Royal slowly emerges through the curtain. He smirks and throws his arms above his head before strutting down the ramp. He mostly ignores the crowd, only occasionally taking the time to mock and berate them. Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, wrestling out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing 227 pounds, ANTHONY ROYAL! As he approaches the ring, he hops onto the ring apron, looking back at the crowd, smirking and shaking his head in disgust before entering the ring. He then climbs to the nearest turnbuckle and stares out into the crowd before hopping down and waiting for the match to begin. The opening riffs of 'Pour Some Sugar on me' hits, and the arena goes dark with a single pink spotlight near the entrance. As the drums hit, Bobo comes out, flashing a bright smile, wearing a black pinstriped Chef's apron over his pink and black tights. He holds a tray in his hands which naturally contains samples of his cakes, that he baked to perfection. Jen Brunelli: His opponent, wrestling out of Skaneateles, New York, weighing 238 pounds, he is "The Master Pâtissier" BOBO SWEETCAKES! He proceeds to feed the samples to the fans at ringside before sliding the tray underneath the ring. He climbs into the ring and throws his apron to the crowd. TALE OF THE TAPE |

Both wrestlers circle the ring. They lock up. Royal gets the upper hand and hits him with punch after punch. He hits him with a knee to the gut. Anthony continues hitting him with punches but Bobo manages to push him hard, Royal falls on his back. Bobo begins stomping on him. The dance and pop-esque opening sound of "Boss Bitch" by the Millionaires begins to play throughout the arena while Lavender and Magenta lazers begin flashing. Just then would the Dominator In Distress herself walks out from behind the curtains, sashaying her way to the top of the ramp with her hand on her hip, the spotlight following her every move. "I'm the type of girl that your momma never wanna meet Centerfold in your daddy's hidden magazine I'm kinda sweet and fake like Splenda Topless on the beach, you can call me Kendra" In between this stanza does Rochelle run her hand through her hair and winks while smiling towards the ring. "But I'm not like the girl next door Inbetween a cheerleader and a whore Ra-ra-raw like sushi Always keep it clean, no douching" The chorus for the song starts as Rochelle begins to strut down the ramp, swaying her hips as she looks at the capacity crowd. When she reaches ringside, she walks up the steel steps before walking along the ring apron, looking back at the crowd and blows a seductive and alluring kiss. Rochelle steps the bottom and middle ropes to get into the ring, walking to the center and taking a full spin before fluffing her hair up and blowing another kiss. “S-P-I-R-I-T Spirit!! Let’s hear it!! S-P-I-R-I-T Spirit!! Let’s hear it!!” Blue strobe lights roams around the arena like a trance as the opening tune of "Happy Song” by Bring Me The Horizon blares out of the PA system. “LET’S GO!” Out comes Janet Hurricane, her hoodie veil blinding her face. As the tempo gets faster and faster, we see her jumping up and down, still cannot see her face. Once we hear the lyrics, Janet reveals her face to the crowd and starts shadowing punching and kicking, feeling the energy of her theme song. She then starts walking her way to the ring, bopping her head to the music and in her own zone, not giving a damn about the fans’ reaction. Once she enters the ring, she takes off her hoodie and does a couple of shadow boxing, again feeling the energy of the music before it fades. Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall, and is for the AXW Women's Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, wrestling out of Long Island, New York, weighing 117 pounds, "The Dominator in Distress" ROCHELLE! Rochelle ghost-belts, signalling she will become the next Women's Champion. Jen Brunelli: Her opponent, wrestling out of Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing 120 pounds, she is the defending AXW Women's Champion, "The Queen of the Ravenous Generation" JANET HURRICANE! Janet walks right up to Rochelle with her title raised high, referee Brian Sullivan stepping in to separate the two. TALE OF THE TAPE |

The two lock up. Janet gains control first by repeatedly kneeing Rochelle in the gut. Janet hits some hard clubs to the back of Rochelle. Janet whips Rochelle into the corner and hits her with a big clothesline. Janet pulls Rochelle out and takes her down with a Side Russian Leg Sweep. Rochelle starts to get up and is struck with a Running Knee lift from Janet. Janet plants Rochelle with a Sitout Facebuster and gets a two count. Janet pulls Rochelle back to her feet, and Rochelle starts to fight back with some Knife-Edge Chops, backing Janet into a corner. Rochelle then irish whips Janet into the opposite corner and follows through with a Corner Handspring Back Elbow Smash. followed by a Running One-handed Bulldog. Janet gets up and is taken back down with a Swinging Neckbreaker. Janet sits up from the impact and is hit with a Front Dropkick. Janet again is able to get to her feet and is attacked with a Lou Thesz Press, with mounted punches and head slams. Rochelle heads to the top rope, and dives off for a Diving Crossbody, but Janet is able to catch her and delivers a nasty Spinning backbreaker, earning another two count. Rochelle crawls to the ropes where she uses them to help herself up, and then finds herself caught in them as Janet drives her to the mat with a Cry of Terror(Rope-hung DDT). Janet heads to the apron and ascends the turnbuckles. She leaps off for Last Breath of Air (Diving elbow drop), but Rochelle rolls out of the ring, both dodging the attack and to recompose herself.
Rochelle climbs back up to the top turnbuckle and this time is able to connect with the Diving Crossbody. Rochelle delivers four consecutive Scoop Slams to Janet, then delivers a Corner Slingshot Splash for a two count. Rochelle tries to send Janet to the corner, but Janet reverses and sends Rochelle instead. Upon reaching the corner Rochelle is able to propel herself up, and catches Janet with an Inverted Headscissors Stinkface, followed by a Mule Kick. Janet is right back up and tries to run at Rochelle but is struck by a Best Assault Ever [Jumping Hip Attack, to an oncoming opponent]. Rochelle allows Janet to use the corner to help herself up, then runs in at her, where Janet traps her in a DIE MOTHER F*CKER DIE(Rope hung Boston crab), of course breaking at the count of four. Janet slams Rochelle to the canvas with a Tropical Storm (Forward Russian Legsweep). Janet looks to end it as she starts to hook Rochelle in Fisherman's Suplex, but Rochelle counters into a Small Package!

Two!
Janet kicks out. The two get up and Rochelle knocks Janet down with a Calf Kick. Rochelle heads back to the top rope, and jumps off to deliver Slay You Dead [Blockbuster]... which misses as Janet simply steps out of the way. Rochelle gets back up to her feet and is met with a Wrath of the Hurricane (Maryse’s Heel Kick).
One!

Three!
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, and STILL the AXW Women's Champion, JANET HURRICANE!
Lily Luna: Janet Hurricane continues to be unstoppable, but a great showing nonetheless from Rochelle.
Cole Haywood: Against anyone else, I think Rochelle would have left this match victorious, that's how good she is only being three months into what should be a lengthy career.
Chris Pierce: I'm interested to see who's gonna be the one to stop Janet Hurricane, her stock just continues to go up after every battle.
"Happy Song" rings throughout the arena once again as Brian Sullivan hands Janet Hurricane her championship, and raises her arm into the air. Janet steps up onto a couple of turnbuckles and raises her title high to a mixed reaction. ----- Another video package airs, this one highlighting the career of Damien Steele thus far in AXW. Starting with his first match in AXW, which was originally unaired on television but can be found on AXW.com and The Federation Network, where he defeated Pyrostar prior to AXW Ep. 9. His subsequent feud with Pyrostar is highlighted, followed by him winning a Six Man Battle Royal at EWS Sin City Showdown Night 2 to become AXW's first ever Light Heavyweight Champion. It shows highlights from The Alternative Ep. 11 from March 27, 2015, where Damien was revealed to be part of the Sin City Shooters Club. Shortly after, it shows footage from AXW Ep. 27, where Damien officially abandoned the Shooters and aligned himself with Steve Corman. We see his allegiance as a Corman Guy, transitioning into his win over Deimos at Rise 2016, then all of his wins in the AXW Championship Number One Contender's Tournament. It concludes with the footage of him and Steve Corman shaking hands at the end of AXW Ep. 58. Steve Corman vs. Damien Steele TONIGHT for the AXW Championship----- Jen Brunelli: This next contest is an Open Challenge for the AXW Xperience Championship! "Everywhere I Go" starts with flashing while lights. "Everywhere I go Bitches always know That Charlie Scene got a weenie that he loves to show (bitch) Everywhere I go Bitches always know" Chaz Anix comes out with a gym tee cut to show his mustles slowly with his arms outstretched and his eyes closed "Wake up!" Chaz opens his eyes quickly and rips off his shirt and makes his way down to the ring Jen Brunelli: Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by "Mr. Lust" Chester Andrews, wrestling out of Miami, Florida, weighing 234 pounds, he is the defending AXW Xperience Champion, "Dr. Big Freaking Deal" CHAZ ANIX! "Grab beer Grab rear Shave beard Put on some scene gear Gotta get drunk before my mom wakes up Break up, with my girlfriend so I can bang sluts I'm undead Unfed Been sleeping on, bunk beds, since ten So if I don't booze it I'm gonna lose it Everybody get to it Do it Get ruined." Chaz stops at the end of the ramp and flexes then he slides into the ring. He receives the microphone from Jen. Chaz Anix: As the true face of AXW, as well as the hottest thing going in AXW, I have decided to host this Open Challenge to show off how awesome I really am and that I can beat any jabroni who steps from behind that curtain. I am the silver lining of AXW, and in 30 days I will truly be at the crest of the mountain when I redeem this championship and win the AXW Championship! Chaz hands the microphone back to Jen. He awaits for his challenger to come out, but stands in the ring in confusion when some of the words he just said echo throughout the arena. "...how awesome I really am.... the silver lining of AXW.... at the crest of the mountain.... awesome.... silver lining.... silver.... the crest... crest..." Suddenly, a voice says "The Second Coming is here." “Reach out and touch faith Your own personal Jesus Someone to hear your prayers Someone who cares Your own personal Jesus Someone to hear your prayers Someone who's there” A man with long blonde hair slowly walks out from the back with a smug grin on his face. He walks down a little to the top of the ramp and throws his arms into the air, at which time pyros go off. Jen Brunelli: His opponent, wrestling out of Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 241 pounds, he is "The King of the Elites" CREST SILVER! After this he saunters down to the ring shouting at the crowd ‘Awesome ends in ME!’. He slides under the bottom rope into the ring where he eagerly waits for the match to get under way. Lily Luna: Ladies and gentlemen if you don't know who this man is, this is Crest Silver. He was a key part of AXW when this company re-opened as a branch of EWS back in 2014, he was aligned with Crash Jackson where they were known as The Church, and is now on AXW television for the first time in over two years! Cole Haywood: You skipped over the part where Crash Jackson was so jealous of Crest that he viciously assaulted him which is the reason why he's been absent from AXW for so long. Chris Pierce: Crash Jackson went on to find success as AXW Champion, and now it seems the tables have turned, Crash Jackson is no longer in AXW while Crest Silver is looking to win an AXW title. The fans are actually showing affection to the returning Crest Silver as they shower him with "Sil-ver Je-sus" chants. Silver seems to not really care about that as he's trading blows with Anix. Anix traps Silver in a Headlock with flexing, until Silver lifts Anix up for a big Back Suplex. Anix is stunned by a Step-up Enzuigiri, before Silver takes him down with a Russian Leg Sweep followed by a Standing Moonsault for a two count. Silver lifts Anix to his feet and Anix fights back with a Dropkick into kip up. Anix hits Silver with a Wheel kick for a one count. Anix throws some hard punches at Silver before lifting him onto his shoulder and chucking him into the corner with a Lawn Dart. Anix runs in at the cornered Silver who side steps, Anix crashing into the turnbuckles. Silver lifts Anix up and places him in the tree of woe. Silver goes across the ring before coming back with a Running Dropkick to the face of Anix who falls out of the tree. Silver brings Anix towards the middle of the ring where he powers him up for a Gutwrench Powerbomb, earning a two count. Silver has Anix in position for a suplex and tries lifting him, but Anix blocks it, and Anix ends up slamming Silver with a Snap Suplex. Anix one-ups Silver by delivering a Standing Moonsault of his own, getting a two count. Silver starts to get to a vertical base but is struck by an Ax Kick. Anix whips Silver into the corner, and looks to follow up with BOOM!(Helluva Kick), but Silver one again moves out of the way and Anix gets caught up on the top turnbuckle. Silver brings Anix to the mat with a school boy, putting both feet on the middle rope for extra leverage.
One!
Two!
Referee Gus Ramos is able to catch Silver and calls off his count. Silver slams his hands three times, telling Ramos it was a three count. Silver stays on the attack however as he hoofs Anix in the gut and lifts him for a Double-Arm Backbreaker. Silver covers again and still gets two. Silver lifts Anix to his feet and Anix unloads with punches to the gut of Silver, Anix is able to create the separation he needs and runs the ropes for some momentum but gets cut in half by a Spear! Silver decides to end it as he has Anix doubled over to set up the Totally Awesome Powerbomb! (Straight Jacket Powerbomb), but Anix counters with a back body drop. Anix nails Silver with a Sexy Kick (Enziguri), earning a two count off of it. Anix lifts Silver to his feet only to plant him with Too Sexy for This (Flat Liner), frustrated after he only gets another two count. Anix eagerly awaits Silver to get to his feet, then attempts an Anix Cutter(Running Cutter), but Silver pushes him away, Anix crashing back first onto the canvas. Silver drives Anix to the mat with an Implant DDT, and upon covering, nothing happens. This is due to Gus Ramos being preoccupied with Chester Andrews who has climbed onto the apron. Silver deals with the issue himself as he nails Andrews with a vicious forearm strike, Mr. Lust now falls to the floor. Anix looks to take advantage by rolling Silver up, but Silver rolls all the way through back to his feet. Silver lifts Anix up, and turns 180 degrees to slam Anix in the middle of the ring with the Totally Awesome Powerbomb! Silver immediately follows up by locking Anix in Just Tap Already (Texas Clover Leaf)! Anix in the middle of the ring with nowhere to go, is forced to submit.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner by submission, and NEEEWWW AXW Xperience Champion, CREST SILVER!
Lily Luna: Crest Silver returns unannounced and is the new Xperience Champion! What a surprising turn of events!
Cole Haywood: Silver Jesus is back, and I for one welcome our Lord and Savior back with open arms. Congratulations champ!
Chris Pierce: Chaz Anix was a month away from being able to redeem the Xperience Champion for another title match, but his reign ends at 70 days, which is the longest reign to not reach the 90 day mark.
As "Personal Jesus" plays throughout the arena, Crest yanks his championship from Ramos and climbs a turnbuckle. He holds it up and shouts out "Awesome ends with me!" to a mixed reaction. He steps down and holds the title in front of his waist, demanding that Ramos snaps it around him. Ramos does, and Silver exits the ring. He backs up the ramp with his arms raised high. He goes to high five a fan who has his arm extended, but Silver ends up faking him out and runs his hand through his hair as he makes his way to the back.

"Invincible" by Amaranthe hits, the fast pounding drums blaring loudly from the speakers as the lights dim completely. They come back to Android 18 standing at the entrance ramp, head down, the words 'The code awakens me' flash along the Alternatron behind her as she opens her eyes and brings her head up slowly. She walks stoically down the ramp, a smirk spreading over her face as she goes. She stops in the middle of the ramp, raising her hands to actually sign the words 'I am Invincible.' Jen Brunelli: This next tag team contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, wrestling out of Cork, Ireland, weighing 135 pounds, ANDROID 18! Before continuing on and leaping straight up onto the ring post, she signs ''I am Invincible' one more time, entering the ring and awaiting the match to start. “Like A Prayer” by Madonna plays through the speakers providing a peppy ambiance. The entire arena goes dark momentarily as “Sister Inferior” Olya Latanya Oglovska enters from the ramp with a pair of opera binoculars in her right hand. Three spotlights highlight various audience members who have striking physical attributes. As Olya walks down to the ramp she fans herself with a bidder paddle. Jen Brunelli: Her partner, wrestling out of Saratov, Russia, weighing 115 pounds, "Sister Inferior" OLYA OGLOVSKA! Upon reaching the arena floor and within clear eye line of her opponent, all three spotlights converge. Oglovska raises her bidder paddle to indicate she plans on procuring another priceless artifact for her exhibit. Suddenly, the area would go completely dark, except for the Alternatron showing rapidly-spinning barbed wire. "I'm not the one who's so far away When I feel the snake bite enter my veins Never did I wanna be here again And I don't remember why I came" The sound of "Voodoo" by Godsmack would play through the PA system as Lizzy Knoxxx walked out to the stage, looking around at the cheering crowd with a sadistic smile on her face, eyes almost bulging out of the sockets, before shooting up her arms to cross her wrists. Jen Brunelli: Their opponents, first, wrestling out of New Brunswick, New Jersey, weighing 121 pounds, "Crazy" LIZZY KNOXXX! She would then walk down the ramp, whipping her hair from side to side with a sick grin on her face before sliding into the ring and rises up to walk to the nearest turnbuckle. She would climb to its second rung before slightly hunced over and whips her hair back, throws her hands up to make their cross at the wrist again before jumping off the turnbuckle to her feet. The lights in the arena all turn to red, with the fans in anticipation for whats about to come. After a few seconds of this, "Megitsune" by BABYMETAL takes over the sound system. As soon as the song plays, the red lights pulse to the beat of the drums with a figure standing in smoke, wearing a robe and a kitsune mask. At the seven second mark of the song, the figure begins to slowly make their way down the ramp. At the fourteen second mark of the song, the figure disrobes and removes their kitsune mask, now walking to the ring at a quicker pace. Jen Brunelli: Her partner, wrestling out of Hiroshima, Japan, weighing 112 pounds, "Megitsune" KATSUKO NAKAMOTO! Katsuko makes her way up the steps and hops onto the middle turnbuckle, raising both hands into the air, doing the kitsune hand sign. She steps onto the top rope and front flips into the ring. She walks to her corner and throws strikes at the turnbuckles before her music fades out. It's Android 18 and Lizzy Knoxxx that start the match for their teams. Android starts with control as she hits Lizzy with some nasty strikes. Lizzy fights back with some strikes of her own, but Android catches one of the kicks and promptly lifts Lizzy into the air before delivering a Sitout Powerbomb, an early two count. Android stays in control with some Knife edge chops. Android whips Lizzy into her team's corner and barrels in with a clothesline, before tagging in Olya. Olya comes in and takes Lizzy down with a Snapmare with Rolling Neck Snap. Olya traps Lizzy in a Figure-Four Headlock, but Lizzy is able to slip free. Olya tries to attack Lizzy but finds herself being taken down by F.Y.L. (Fuck Your Life) [Hip Toss followed by a Cartwheel followed by a low-angle Front Dropkick]. Olya gets up only to be taken down with a Hurricanrana. Lizzy tags out to Katsuko who also delivers a Hurricanrana to Olya. Katsuko tries to continue her offense but Olya has rolled out of the ring and regroups with Android. Lizzy enters the ring for a brief few seconds before diving out of the ring, taking Olya and Android out with a Suicide Dive. Katsuko looks around, before deciding screw it, and climbs to the top turnbuckle, diving onto all three with a Rolling Senton. Katsuko, now fired up, grabs the first blonde she sees and rolls her into the ring. Katsuko climbs back up to the top rope and dives off with a Hātosutoppā (Kairi Hojo-style Diving Elbow Drop). Referee Jessie McCormick is not counting the accompanying pin attempt, as she instructs to Katsuko that Android 18, the person she rolled into the ring, is not legal. Before she knows it Katsuko is being pinned in a Schoolgirl Pin by Olya, which gets broken up at the last second by Lizzy. Jessie loses some order as Android and Lizzy start to trade blows as well as Olya and Katsuko. Lizzy ends up clotheslining both her and Android out of the ring, while Olya has dropped Katsuko with a Dragon Suplex. Olya heads to the apron and starts her climb to the top turnbuckle, a place she doesn't typically go. Whatever Olya has up her sleeve stays there as Katsuko quickly gets up swiftly takes Olya off the top with Ue Kara Shi (Superplex, flowed into a sit-out Falcon Arrow, followed by a pin), earning the victory for her team. Jen Brunelli: Here are your winners, LIZZY KNOXXX and KATSUKO NAKAMOTO! Lily Luna: It seems Olya Oglovska and Android 18 have to go back to the drawing board as Katsuko Nakamoto and Lizzy Knoxxx leave with the win tonight. Cole Haywood: It was nothing more than pure luck. Katsuko and Lizzy are a makeshift team held together by almost nothing. Didn't you see Katsuko dive out onto everyone, including her own partner? Chris Pierce: Lizzy doesn't seem to mind it too much as she regroups with Katsuko in the ring. With "Megitsune" replaying, Lizzy has in fact re-entered the ring and celebrates with Katsuko as Chris suggested. Jessie raises their arms as Android and Olya regroup up the ramp before exiting to the back. The winning tandem exit the ring and Lizzy high fives fans on her way up the ramp, while Katsuko high fives fans at ringside, and "Kitsune Kisses" (Too Sweets) the fans that throw up the Kitsune sign. ----- A video package plays, highlighting a certain man's career in USWF, EWS, SWA, LGW, PHWF, AXW, and Empire Wrestling. The video package concludes with the following text: The Notch Returns to AXW in Two Weeks----- ‘Invincible’ by Adelitas Way hits and Acer Stone runs out from the back looking pumped up and energetic. He heads down the ramp and punches the air three times as red pyros go off at the top of the ramp behind him. Acer heads over to the fans and slaps hands with them as he gets to the ring. He climbs into the ring and works the crowd a little more before they join him in punching the air three times. "Remedy" by Seether plays of the P.A. system as the camera pans over the arena stopping at the entrance way as Danny Hall, sporting a fur vest, strolls down to the ring stopping sometimes to yell at children, then when he gets to the ring he rolls under the bottom rope to sit in the corner then he stands up.....in the corner. "Rocketman" starts with all of the lights out with some smoke and one spotlight "She packed my bags last night pre flight Zero hour nine a.m. And I'm gonna be high, as a kite by then I miss the earth so much, I miss my wife It's lonely out in space On such a timeless flight And I think it's gonna be a long long time Till touch down brings me round again to find I'm not the man they think I am at home Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone" Then a hooded figure shows up and waits at the spotlight. "And I think it's gonna be a long long time Till touch down brings me round again to find I'm not the man they think I am at home Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone" Ben raises his arms simultaneously taking off his cape and walks to the ring. "Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids In fact it's cold as Hell And there's no one there to raise them if you didn't And all this science, I don't understand It's just my job, five days a week A rocket man, a rocket man" On beat with the song Ben climbs the apron and jumps on the turnbuckle. "And I think it's gonna be a long long time Till touch down brings me round again to find I'm not the man they think I am at home Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone And I think it's gonna be a long long time Till touch down brings me round again to find I'm not the man they think I am at home Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone" Ben keeps his arms up then jumps into the ring. "Now, I think it's gonna be a long long time And I think it's gonna be a long long time And I think it's gonna be a long long time And I think it's gonna be a long long time" Jen Brunelli: This next Triple Threat Contest is set for one fall, and is for the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship! Introducing the challengers, first, wrestling out of Tampa, Florida, weighing 165 pounds, ACER STONE! Acer punches the air three times after the mention of his name. Jen Brunelli: Wrestling out of Camden, Tennessee, weighing 220 pounds, "Mr. Most Hated" DANNY HALL! Danny raises his arms into the air, soaking in his mostly negative reaction. Jen Brunelli: Wrestling out of Mason City, Iowa, weighing 223 pounds, he is the defending AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, BEN "ROCKET MAN" EATR! Ben raises his championship high before handing it off to Brian Sullivan. The bell rings as Acer and Danny waste no time charging at each other, trading shots while Ben stays in a corner. Danny wins the punch exchange with a string of shots, before shooting Acer off into the ropes. Acer returns with a Tilt-a-whirl Headscissors Takedown, but Danny scrambles back to his feet and goes for a clothesline. Acer ducks the Clothesline attempt and runs to the ropes again, springing off with a Springboard Hurricanrana to send Danny rolling across the ring. Acer shoots up to her feet, pumping up his fist to a cheering crowd, but turns around into a Rocket Shot(Running Single-Leg Dropkick) from Ben. Cover, but Stone kicks out at 2. Ben drags Acer to his feet, peppering him with some forearm shots before running to the ropes, but Acer is there with a Discus Elbow Smash. Acer then fires himself off into the ropes, but Ben recovers and rushes him with a Jumping Knee Strike, knocking Acer out to the apron. Rocket Man doesn't give Acer time to recover, pulling him through the ropes and planting him with a Hangman DDT. Danny immediately pulls Ben by the ankle out of the ring, mowing him over with the Clothesline From Hall(Lariat) that flips Ben over onto his stomach! Hall quickly slides in and shoots the half on Acer, only gaining a 2-count before mounting Stone, raining down hard lefts and rights. Danny then pulls Acer to his feet, hauling him up on his shoulders and slams him with a Release Powerbomb! Hall hooks the leg, but Acer kicks out at 2 and a half. Frustration sets in as Danny mouths to the ref before going back over to Acer, who is to a knee and fighting back with elbow shots to the gut. Acer rises fully up, hitting a few swift kicks to the arm and ribs, before going off the ropes. He bounces back, but Danny stops him with a Throat Chop, an Enzuigiri, and caps it off with a Kick to the side of the head. Danny then trash-talks Acer to a jeering crowd as he's down, not realizing Ben getting up on the apron. Danny looks back around as Ben springs off the ropes, catching Danny flush with a Springboard Clothesline. Ben crawls over to Acer with a cover, only getting a 2-count. Ben then moves over to Danny with a cover, but still only gets a 2 and a half count. Ben hits the mat a few times, as Danny starts to get up. Eatr lifts him up over his shoulder and charges towards the corner, looking for the Lawn Dart but Danny slips loose behind Ben, before attempting to lock in the Paradox(Crossface Chickenwing)! Ben thrashes around, trying to escape before backing Danny into the corner. Ben turns around, lifting Danny up upon the top turnbuckle, but Mr. Most Hated fights back with some fast punches. Ben turns around, right into a Corner Running Dropkick from Acer. Ben slumps down to the mat and rolls to the outside before Acer focuses on Danny, taking one huge leap to hook his legs around Hall's neck and eject him off the turnbuckles with a Super Frankensteiner! The crowd "Ooooh"s at the move as Acer moves to the ropes to pull himself up. Danny slowly begins rising up and eventually does, but Acer looks behind at him before springboarding off the ropes and floors him with a Disaster Kick! Acer then points to the turnbuckles, as the crowd roars in approval before he begins scaling up the ropes. Unfortunately, Ben has recovered and climbs up the turnbuckles alongside him, and hits a haymaker, and follows it up with the To The Moon(Top Rope Sitout Powerbomb)! Ben lays his legs over Acer's shoulders for the cover, getting the three count to retain the title. Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, and STILL the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, BEN EATR! Lily Luna: Ben Eatr continues to solidify himself as he comes out with a win over two former Light Heavyweight Champions. Cole Haywood: Only because of that pesky Acer Stone. Danny Hall would still be Light Heavyweight Champion if it weren't for him! Chris Pierce: Regardless, Ben Eatr continues to establish himself as the best in division. "Rocket Man" replays and Ben Eatr is awarded his championship. Ben climbs the turnbuckles in celebration, while an irate Danny Hall makes his way to the back and a coming to Acer Stone does the same. Ben exits the ring and celebrates with some of the ringside fans before we head to an ad break.

"Hear Me Now" plays throughout the arena and Malcolm M. Mitchell makes his way to the stage. He takes a moment to taunt, throwing shadow punches, then runs his hands through his hair and flicks the water off his hands, keeping his arms spread with his head up, soaking in the reaction from the crowd. Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, wrestling out of Riviera Beach, Florida, weighing 214 pounds, MALCOLM M. MITCHELL! He walks down to the ring with confidence in every step. Malcolm enters the ring, climbs to the second turnbuckle, and does the same taunt he did on the stage. The arena lights descend to darkness, as the tron displays an old black and white vision of an apocalyptic scene, as within a broken building we hear the crackle and zap of electricity, pulses of computers, as there, standing before the rubble is a figure in a denim jacket and tattered denim jeans. The figure turns slowly, and forms a smirk from under a pair of black Aviator shades. "Not even God can save you.." The crowd roars to "Not Even God" by Digital Summer, as some are booing, some cheering, an ice blue hue filling the ramp and entrance, a thin mist that under a spotlight has an eerie glow for one Duncan Aries! Aries has his back to us, looking down, before spinning around, arms crossed and head cocked in a smirk. Jen Brunelli: His opponent, wrestling out of San Diego, California, weighing 238 pounds, AXW Hall of Famer, "The Wild Card" DUNCAN ARIES! Aries strides to the ring, paying no mind before tossing his shades into the crowd and leaping onto the apron. Entering the ring, Aries spins around, basking in the glow of the reaction, positive or negative, tossing off his jacket, yelling out "Because I'm Duncan Aries, motherfuckers!" as "Not Even God" fades out. As Malcolm stands on the top turnbuckle, taunting to the crowd, we see Aries being held back by the ref, until Aries has seen enough and as Mitchell turns hits a thunderous running ax kick, as Gus Ramos calls for the bell to start the match!
Enraged, Aries stomps away at Mitchell, stomping a mudhole in him, before choking him with his boot, yelling “Get up! Cut the shit!” as Ramos finally backs Aries up.
Aries charges in for a big splash, but Malcolm sidesteps him, Aries crashing sternum first into the corner. Mitchell acts quickly, hitting a shoulder jackbreaker, followed by a picture perfect dropkick taking Aries down. Mitchell goes for a quick cover, getting a two count. Mitchell stomps away at Aries, yelling “What now? What now, Aries!?” before dropping a double knee drop to the midsection of Aries, once again going for a cover and getting a two count.
Mitchell brings Aries to his feet, lighting him up with chops that back the Hall Of Famer into the corner, but Aries retorts with some stiff jabs, then grabs Mitchell by the scruff of his neck and sends him into the corner, opening up with right and left hooks connecting, followed by quick jabs to the midsection, as Mitchell tries to cover up before getting rocked with a European uppercut. Aries yanks Mitchell out of the corner, looking out at the crowd who gives him a mixed reaction before hitting a snap suplex out of the corner. Aries climbs the second turnbuckle and jumps off with a Hart style elbow drop, hooking the leg for a cover.
1..2..and Mitchell kicks out.
Aries motions for Mitchell to get up, as Malcolm is at a knee, Aries rearing back and firing off buzzsaw kicks to Malcolm’s sternum, dropping him to both knees, firing off another, and another, until a roundhouse kick connects with the skull of Malcolm Mitchell! Aries goes for a cover.
1…2..Mitchell kicks out!
Aries shakes his head. Bringing Mitchell to his feet, he’s hit with some shots to the gut, before an enziguri finds its mark and Aries is down! Stalking his opponent, Mitchell leaps and hits a ZigZag to Aries! Mitchell goes for the cover.
1..2..and Aries kicks out!
Mitchell backs up, going for The Faceplant, but Aries dodges it, Mitchell crashing into the mat. Aries hits the ropes and leaps back, spinning and connecting with a rising Mitchell who gets nailed with Enter Gideon (Beautiful Disaster Kick)! Aries goes for the cover.
1…2..and Mitchell gets his shoulder up!
Aries slams the mat in frustration, locking Mitchell in a full nelson, lifting him up and looking for The San Diego Driver (Full Nelson Pickup Into a release Wheelbarrow Facebuster) but Mitchell counters, turning it all into a victory roll pin!
1..2..and Aries kicks out at the last second!
Pissed, Aries turns and swings wildly, but Mitchell ducks, Aries getting lifted in a back suplex position towards the corner, as Duncan flips back over, and hits the ropes, as does Mitchell, who at full speed connects with Sleep Tight (Busaiku Knee Kick) that nearly takes Aries’ head off!
The crowd comes alive again as Mitchell crawls to the cover.
1..2..and Aries just gets the shoulder up!
Mitchell, fuming, yells “THAT’S IT!” before signaling for the end. Climbing up top, Mitchell leaps off with Death From Above (Red Arrow), but eats nothing but canvas as Aries rolls out of the way!
Staggering to his feet, Aries yanks Malcolm up by the hair to the protest of Gus Ramos, before lifting him up and connecting with The Culmination (Front Slam Pickup Into A Rock Bottom) planting him to the mat!
Aries goes for the cover.
1…2…3!!
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, DUNCAN ARIES!
Lily Luna: Duncan Aries comes out on top against a game Malcolm M. Mitchell.
Cole Haywood: Did you expect any different? Malcolm M. Mitchell is nowhere close to being on the same level Duncan Aries is.
Chris Pierce: With this loss, where does Malcolm go from here?
“Not Even God” blares as holding his jaw, Aries has his arm raised, peering down at Mitchell. Aries celebrates on the turnbuckle to a mixed reaction, before jumping off, as Mitchell is standing there, Aries music fading out as Mitchell, clutching his ribs, extends a hand to Aries! Aries cocks his head to the side, looking at Malcolm like he’s nuts before shaking his head with a smirk and exiting the ring. “Not Even God” plays again as Mitchell gets a nice response from the crowd, who are back to booing Aries for the lack of sportsmanship. ----- We cut backstage where we see a blindfolded Sam De Santa. Trent Mathews: I know we lost earlier, and you're not happy about it, which is why we decided to surprise you. Sam De Santa: Why do I feel like I'm going to see something horrifying when this blindfold comes off? Ricky better have his pants on. Ricky Diamond: Don't act like you wouldn't love Willy Diamond. Sam De Santa: I didn't need to know that you have a name for it.... Can you take this thing off now? Trent removes the blindfold and the camera zooms out to see a cake. Trent and Ricky: Happy Birthday, Sam! A smile spreads across Sam's face. Sam De Santa: I'm surprised you guys actually remembered! Trent Mathews: Go on, make a wish. Sam bends down to blow the candles out. Once they're out, Trent shoves her face into the cake, he and Ricky share a laugh. Sam slowly raises from the cake, seemingly upset, though we can't quite tell with the cake all over her face. She wipes the cake from her face, and while one would expect her to be upset, the smile re-appears. She grabs a piece of cake and hucks it at Trent. Ricky Diamond: We also got you a present. Ricky holds a box, conveniently placed right in front of... "Willy Diamond". Sam De Santa: Yeah, I'm not falling for that one. Ricky Diamond: What? No, it's just a box. Ricky holds it up, handing it to Sam. She opens it up, and pulls out a bikini. Ricky Diamond: We know you really wanted to be the Chicks and America Bouncing Bikini Babe™, so we got you a bikini. Sam De Santa: I don't want to be a "bikini babe", but this is a really cute bikini, so I will be using it for personal use. Thank you, guys. Wait, how did you find out my cup size? Ricky Diamond: Eh, I've seen enough boobs to know you're a 32C. Sam De Santa: ..Well, thanks again, it's nice. And if you really want Bouncing Bikini Babes, I suppose I could look past it. Ricky Diamond: She's starting to come around. Trent Mathews: That's great, because we actually narrowed down the contestants. Sam De Santa: You started with fifty right? How many are you down to now? Trent Mathews: Forty-nine. Ricky Diamond: Hey, let's blow this popsicle stand and go get the birthday girl some dinner, I'll pay. The trio begin to walk off. Sam De Santa: You do actually have money this time right? I don't want to have to deal with the cops again like at Olive Garden... ----- We return to ringside where Matt Baker is stood in the middle of the ring, holding the AXW Championship in front of him. begins to play. The crowd reacts with overall boos and jeers, but there is the small population of fans, for either nostalgia or just plain assholes, that cheer and do the hero worship wave, wearing Icon Merch. Big Stevie Cool walks out dressed in his classic BSC ring attire, black shiny side lace up pants and a black wrestling tank with "BSC" on the front. As well as a black elbow pad on his right elbow with "ICON" written in gold across it. He stops to look around the arena and the boos being thrown in his direction. Corman makes it very clear to the fans that “all of this” is because of Him. He smiles his cocky smile, then double thumb points to himself, taps his right index finger on his temple and slowly pans his left hand, index finger extended, around the arena; indicating that he’s smarter than each and every one of them, then Corman slowly raises his arms over his head, making the trademark Highrollers hand gesture (basically the wolfpack, while moving his thumbs around in the international sign for MONEY). He makes his way to the ring, as the A-Hole High Rollers fans cheer and do the "Icon" worship wave as Corman nods, points, and smiles at the camera. He climbs the stairs, planting each foot, and walks across the apron. He stops and the referee holds open the ropes as Corman enters the ring. Corman smirks and again repeats the High Rollers hand gesture by the ropes. The lights all go out and "Miseria Cantare" by AFI starts as a single spotlight shines on the entrance as Damien Steele is standing in the entrance hair in front of his face as at the 45 second mark of the song. Damien flips his hair back and starts to walk down to the ring, as the words of the song start. LOVE... YOUR HATE... Damien Steele makes no connection to any fans that might be throwing insults his way, almost as if he is only focused on the ring, and more specifically his opponent. YOUR... FAITH LOST... Steele reaches the ring as he walks around to the steps. YOU... ARE NOW... Damien waits at the bottom of the steps keeping his eyes on his opponent. ONE... OF US... A wicked smile comes across his face as the words of the song repeat again just a little bit faster this time. LOVE... YOUR HATE... YOUR... FAITH LOST... YOU... ARE NOW... ONE... OF US... Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent till he reaches the top step and wipes his feet before entering the ring never taking his eyes off his opponent. Jen Brunelli: This is your Main Event set for one fall, and is to determine the AXW Champion! Introducing first, wrestling out of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, weighing 275 pounds, "The Icon" STEVE CORMAN! Steve holds up his hands, doing the Highrollers sign once again. Jen Brunelli: His opponent, wrestling out of Chicago, Illinois, weighing 221 pounds, "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE! Damien Steele, who is wearing the "I'm a Steve Corman Guy" t-shirt, raises his fists into the air. Matt Baker shows both men the championship, and raises it into the air. He hands the championship to Jen Brunelli, who exits the ring. Baker frisks both men to ensure no hidden objects, then calls for the bell. TALE OF THE TAPE |

The two start the match off with a handshake, then back off for separation. They look like they're coming back in for the collar and elbow tie up, but instead Damien lies down on the mat. Steve Corman gets down with him, hooking Damien's outside leg for a pin, as Matt Baker makes the count.

Two!
Steve Corman stands up and looks at Damien, confused as to why he put his shoulder up. He asks, "What are you doing? We had an agreement!" Damien holds up his finger, wanting a second. Damien pulls off the "I'm a Steve Corman Guy" shirt, he says, "I don't wanna ruin a good shirt," and starts to carefully fold in the sleeves. Suddenly, Damien drapes the shirt over Corman's head and unloads on him with punches. Steve, not being able to see, ends up falling to the mat and ends up getting stomped by Damien until he rolls out of the ring. Matt Baker, allowing some leeway as he would rather a rightful champion be crowned rather than immediately end the match in disqualification, does warn Damien he will be disqualified if he does that again. Damien picks the shirt up, balls it up, and chucks it right at Corman's face. An irate Corman slides back into the ring and throws a clothesline, Steele ducks it and runs the ropes, only to be taken down by a Big Boot from Corman. Corman kneels down and hammers away at the face of Damien Steele. Baker steps in and forces Corman to let up. Steele gets up and receives a kick to the gut, before being taken down with a Hangman Neckbreaker. That's not enough to put Steele away though who kicks out at one. Corman whips Steele into the corner and comes barreling in with the Avalanche Splash. Corman follows up with some Back Elbows in the corner. Corman sends Steele to the opposing corner and follows up with another Avalanche Splash. Corman throws Steele across the ring with The Icon-Plex (Exploder Suplex). Steve heads out to the apron where he rips his elbow pad off and tosses it into the crowd. Corman climbs up to the top turnbuckle where he comes off with a Superstar Elbow (Test-esk flying elbow). Corman hooks Steele's leg who kicks out at two.
Corman brings Steele back up to his feet, where Steele spits into the face of Steve Corman. A pissed off Corman then gets taken down by a drop toe hold, which is followed by Steele delivering sharp elbow strikes to the back of Corman's head. Steele displays some strength as he hoists Corman into the air, before slamming him down with a Falcon Arrow. Steele quickly gets to the top rope where he leaps off, connecting with a Diving Knee Drop. Corman gets to his feet and staggers towards the ropes. Steele clotheslines Corman over the top rope, but Corman stays on the apron. Steele goes out to the apron and plants Corman onto the hardest part of the ring with a Falling Paroxysm! Corman falls to the floor and Steele slides back into the ring. Steele measures Corman up before darting off the ropes and leaping out of the ring with a No Hands Space Flying Tigersault! Steele grabs Corman and rolls him back into the ring. Steele climbs onto the apron and awaits Corman to get to a vertical base, then enters the ring via Slingshot Stunner. Steele covers, but Baker stops the count as Corman's leg is under the rope. Steele tries to lift Corman onto his shoulders, but Corman prevents it and has Steele doubled over, lifts him up, and starts to run across the ring for the Icon Bomb (Running Powerbomb), but Steele is able to counter with a headscissors whip, sending Corman crashing into the turnbuckles. Steele rolls Corman up with a school boy, but rolls him all the way to his knees and nails him with an Avada Kedavra! Steele backs to a corner and stomps his feet in anticipation, then darts out and acquaints Steve's face with the canvas with a Loony Stomp! Steele covers!

NO! Steve kicked out! Damien is in shock as no one has kicked out of that maneuver. Damien realizes he has to stay on the attack and does so by hopping up to the top turnbuckle and dives off with a Phoenix Splash! ...Which connects to the mat as Corman rolls out of the way. Steve grabs Damien by his hair and delivers a Coconut Smash (off knee), followed by a Snapmare Driver for a two count. Steve runs the ropes and strikes Damien with a Running High Knee. He keeps going and drills Steele with a Clothesline from Canada (Hell). Corman follows up with a Falling Fist Drop, and upon Steele sitting up, executes a Seated flip necksnap. Corman slams the back of Damien's neck to the mat not once, not twice, but three times with consecutive German Suplexes. Steve follows up with a gnarly Tiger Bomb '91 for another two count. Steele tries to get to his feet but Steve keeps delivering little potshot kicks to his head. Steele manages to get some punches in to the gut of Corman. Steele is fully to his feet and throws a kick, but Corman catches it and plants Steele with a Leg Hook Chokeslam, and immediately transitions into a Canadian Conspiracy (Sharpshooter). Steele hollers out in agony, but slowly manages to make his way to the bottom rope, Corman utilizing the full 5 count to his advantage before breaking. Steele is using the ropes to help himself up, but Corman pulls him up the rest of the way. Steele hits Corman with back elbows to try to get separation, and tops it off with a Swinging Enzuigiri, stunning Corman. Steele heads to the apron and begins his climb up the turnbuckles, but Steve dives for the top rope, causing Steele to lose his balance and get crotched on the top turnbuckle. Corman pulls Steele off the top before planting him with The Corman Cutter (Tommyhawk)! Corman hooks both legs as Baker counts the pin!
One!
Two!
Three!
NO! Steele kicks out! An angry Steve Corman runs his thumb across his neck, before slamming Steele down with a Half Nelson/Half Waistlock, leaping mat slam, which is the precursor to The Famouser (Corman Crippler Crossface)! This seems like it's the end of Steele who appears to be on the verge of tapping, but Steele suddenly has the wherewithal to maneuver both bodies so Steele is covering Corman, forcing Corman to break the hold. Both men get to their feet and Corman goes to take Steele's head off with a clothesline, but Steele ducks it and catches Corman with a Pele Kick! Corman drops to a knee and Steele takes the opening, knocking Corman out with a 2nd City Sleeper (Boma Ye to the back of the head)! Steele uses all the strength he has to roll Corman's dead weight over and hook a leg!

Three!
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, and the NEEEEEWWWWW AXW CHAMPION, DAAMIIEEEEEEEEEEEENNNN STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLE!
Lily Luna: DAMIEN STEELE HAS DONE IT! DAMIEN STEELE IS THE AXW CHAMPION!
Cole Haywood: A day that will live in infamy, Damien's ego gets in the way of a great partnership as he stabs his mentor in the back!
Chris Pierce: Damien Steele is one of the longest tenured members on the roster, making his official debut prior to AXW Episode 9 back in the summer of 2014, and has scratched and clawed his way to this moment, standing before us all as the AXW Champion.
The pounding drums of "Miseria Cantare" echo throughout the arena, mixing with a strong mixed reaction from the crowd. Matt Baker hands Damien Steele his AXW Championship, and raises his hand. Damien takes a good hard look at his AXW Championship, slaps his hand against it, and raises it as high as he can into the air. Damien looks down at a still knocked out Steve Corman, turns away from him, and wipes his boots on the mat next to him. Damien climbs a turnbuckle and raises his title high, which is when confetti starts to rain down. After celebrating on all four turnbuckles, Damien exits the ring and flaunts his gold in front of all the ringside fans as he makes his way to the announce table. He screams at Lily to relay that "We are in the Vicious Era!"
Lily Luna: I can't really argue against that, if you couldn't already hear him ladies and gentlemen, we are now in the Vicious Era.
Damien makes his way around the ring to the entrance way, where he walks up the ramp, spinning the title above his head. Upon reaching the stage, Damien turns back and raises his title high one last time, as in AXW tradition, pyro blasts from the stage behind him.
Lily Luna: Ladies and gentlemen thank you for watching Winterslam, we hope you had a great time. For Cole Haywood and Chris Pierce, I'm Lily Luna, good night!
