Episode XII
"Dance Pants" would start the show off, as the duo known as the Push made their way down to the ring.
Jimmy Reynolds: Now, I'm no mathematician, but we're up three to one in this Best of Five series, and seeing as this is supposed to be Match Five, I believe there is a zero percent chance of the Armada winning.
Timmy McDermott: That sounds about right, but we're good sports and we're willing to go through with this final match. What do you say, Armada? Winner take all?
After a few seconds, "Call of the Warrior" takes over and the Armada make their way down to the ring.
BEST OF FIVE SERIES
MATCH FIVE
The Push vs. The Armada
In the Push corner, Jimmy Reynolds looked to start for his team, while Kyle Thomas would start for the Armada. However, as soon as the bell rings, Ian Winter would drop from the apron and Kyle Thomas would exit the ring, the latter snatching a microphone.
Kyle Thomas: We're done. We're done with this stupid series, we're done with AXW. Consider this a forfeit.
Kyle drops the microphone on the floor as the Armada exit the arena to the side of the stage.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here are your winners as a result of a forfeit, THE PUSH!
"Dance Pants" replays as the Push shrug and do a celebratory dance, as the cameras head backstage.
Craig Brooks: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome my guest at this time, the AXW Women's Champion, Janet Hurricane. Janet, you made your surprise return during AXW Supershow II in what was supposed to be a Triple Threat Match. Everyone's been wondering, how exactly did you get into that match?
Janet Hurricane: Well, I honestly couldn't tell you. I signed a contract a few days before the Supershow, and when I showed up, I was just told that I was put into the match. I don't know what Luke Mathews' motive was, but seeing as this was a huge opportunity, I was gonna make the most of it and try to prove that I could hang with the best here in AXW. Not only did I prove myself then, but also two weeks ago when I beat Sierra Starr in a match that I didn't even know I was gonna be competing in when I went to the ring. So I think I more than proved that I deserve to hold this title.
Craig Brooks: Well, tonight you head into a match against the returning Jenna Tonic. Can you maybe shed some light on your strategy as you head into the match?
Before Janet can respond, she is taken out from behind by Sierra Starr. Sierra throws her into a nearby loading crate, then throws her into some pipes that were leaning against the wall, and even slams some of the pipes down on her.
Sierra Starr: I don't believe you for one second. You weren't just thrown into that match. I'm gonna get to the bottom of this, and when I do, I'm taking what's mine.
Sierra strikes Janet with a pipe one last time before leaving. Personnel quickly rush to Janet as the cameras go back to ringside.
NO DISQUALIFICATION
Pyrostar vs. Damien Steele
Damien Steele brought a chair to the ring and is slamming the steel chair into Pyrostar's midsection over and over again! The ref finally separates him from Pyro, saying that the match has not yet started! The ref rings the bell and Damien is back on his vicious attack on Pyrostar! He continues slamming the chair targeting Pyro's legs now, and Pyro can't get out of the way of the assault that Steele is giving. After 9 to 10 shots, Damien throws the chair away cockily and taunts at Pyrostar. He sees Pyrostar slowly getting up and jumps to the ropes, springboards off it into a vicious knee shot to the side of the head! He rolls out of the ring and searches under it, and brings out a Kendo stick! He raises it high up in the air and rolls into the ring. He has a sadistic grin on his face as he lifts the stick high up in the air, and strikes it on the mat. Pyrostar has rolled out of the way and out of the ring! This infuriates Damien as he sees Pyrostar using the barricade as support for standing. Damien attempts for a suicide dive, but Pyrostar uses his agility as his strength to sidestep as Damien comes crashing into the barricade! This gives Pyrostar an opening as he gets up on the apron, and delivers a missile dropkick right into the face of Damien resting on the barricade! The referee goes to check on Damien and Pyrostar moves out. When the referee clears him for the match, Pyrostar waits for Damien to get up and then runs towards Damien with a clothesline, but Damien counters with a pop-up kick to the midsection, and follows it up by a Pele kick! Damien takes out another steel chair, and this time digs it in into Pyro's midsection which has been targeted clinically over the match. He hits a series of moves such as a single-knee gutbuster, a Fisherman's suplex and finally finishes with a running Falcon arrow on the steel steps. Satisfied with his work, he rolls the almost lifeless Pyro into the ring and rolls into the ring himself. He walks around Pyrostar, waiting for him to start getting up. When Pyrostar is on a kneeling position, Damien stomps on the mat and angrily growls to get up faster. He lifts him up in position for the Damien Special[Phoenix Plex] but couldn't get his hands around Pyro's neck. Pyro keeps blocking him and Damien, frustrated, attempts a release version of the move but NO! Raining Stars! Raining stars out of nowhere! Pyro just nailed the La Mistica, slamming Steele's face on the mat! He rolls Steele over and Pins--- 1…2…3!!!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, PYROSTAR!
We cut backstage where we see Caitlin Shay talking to Sean Foster.
Caitlin Shay: The sooner we get out of here, the better. This is literally a nightmare... I don't know who I made mad, but this is torture. No one should ever have to step foot into New Jersey. I went to a Starbucks earlier and I'm pretty sure the barista just handed me a cup of manure. This is hell. How could this get any worse?
Right on cue, Hailey Harris with Slamsley McBody walk up.
Caitlin Shay: Uuuuggghhhh I just had to ask.
Hailey Harris: I want you one on one tonight, no Sean, no Slamsley, just you and me.
Caitlin Shay: As much as I'd love to, I'd rather leave this state sooner rather than later.
Hailey Harris: What's wrong? Not gonna be so confident without your horribly smelling boyfriend by your side tonight?
Sean Foster: I believe you mean horribly GOOD smelling.
With that, Sean sprays himself with Intensity.
Hailey Harris: How about we make it interesting. You vs me, in a submission match?
Caitlin Shay: I'd still rather leave, but I'll stay just to make you tap out.
Hailey Harris: Oh, I also got you something.
Hailey gives Caitlin what appears to be a cup of coffee. Caitlin takes off the lid, and nearly vomits.
Hailey Harris: It's a special brew, just for you. One hundred percent dog crap, just like your personality.
Slamsley McBody: Sick burn, literally!
Hailey and Slamsley share a totally platonic high five as they walk away. Caitlin drops the cup, gagging, while Sean covers his nose and mouth with one hand, using his other hand to spray Intensity in the air, which makes Caitlin gag more as we head into the next match.
ADRENALINE CHAMPIONSHIP NUMBER ONE CONTENDER'S MATCH
Bobo Sweetcakes vs. Jean-Pierre Frontenac
The champ himself David Slayton would provide commentary for the matchup, showing bias towards Bobo, also saying that he has a rematch clause and doesn't need this match to face for the championship. The match starts off with Bobo offering JPF a handshake. JPF grabs the hand, but does not shake it. He instead applies a hammerlock, flowing it into a hammerlock ddt. JPF tried to get a quick cover, but to no avail. From here, Bobo would take control. Bobo would hit his Sugar Rush, follow that up with a double underhook powerbomb, and top it off with a standing 220 Cremé Brulee for a two count. Bobo would hit a combination of a German suplex, dragon suplex, and a tiger suplex. Bobo would hoist JPF onto his shoulders in a firemans carry, before tossing him into the top turnbuckle, and positioning him into a tree of woe. Bobo followed it up with a stalling basement dropkick. Bobo took a glance over at Slayton, before making his way to the top rope. Bobo dives off looking for a splash, or perhaps a headbutt, but as Bobo dived off JPF kipped to his feet, and quick as lightning, caught Bobo with a nasty European uppercut. JPF heads to a corner, pulls his knee pad down, and waits for Bobo to get up. JPF charges for Vive le Québec Libre, but Bobo dodges. Bobo jumps into the air, looking to hit IDT, but JPF ducks it. Bobo lands on his feet, but perhaps twists an ankle, doubling over and grasping it, and before he knows it gets hit with JPF's knee for the Vive le Québec Libre. To everyone's shock, including David Slayton, JPF scored a pinfall victory over Bobo Sweetcakes.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, and the NEW Number One Contender for the Adrenaline Championship, JEAN-PIERRE FRONTENAC!
Post-Match: JPF rolled out of the ring, raising his arms in victory and ghost belting, while David Slayton enters the ring and consoles his friend.
Now airing is a video package. We see the silver AXW Tag Team Championships on a table, side by side. For a couple of seconds, there seems to problems with the feed, getting a bit staticy, but it comes back in clear and we see the AXW Tag Team Championships in the same positioning, but on each title there is a bloody hand print right in the middle of the center plate. The camera pans up, and we see the Hand of Blood.
Inferno: What is a stallion? A stallion is a horse that has not been gelded. Gelded? Just a fancy word for castrated. The Cross City Stallions will soon become the Cross City Geldings. They will lose any momentum they have left, and wallow away and become just mere simple horses with the rest of the AXW roster. Then, the Hand of Blood will slaughter all the horses, and feast on their blood.
The feed goes back to static, before becoming just a black screen. A bloody hand smear runs across the screen before heading into commercial.
SINGLES MATCH
Jenna Tonic vs. Sierra Starr
Originally supposed to be Jenna Tonic vs. Janet Hurricane, but Hurricane was replaced with Starr due to Hurricane's inability to compete. The ladies tie up, Jenna taking control by hitting numerous knee strikes, breaking the tie up, and follows it up by hitting a flurry of punches. Sierra gets backed to the corner, where she ducks through the ropes, telling referee Zack Fields to get her to back off. Sierra then tries to run at Jenna, Jenna looks to hit a clothesline, but Sierra ducks under and catches Jenna with a superkick. When Jenna got back up, she would be taken back down by Broken Dreams for a two count. Jenna would take control with a double underhook implant DDT, and follows it up with a beautiful standing shooting star press, getting a two count of her own. The match goes back on forth for a little while, each girl hitting her big moves, for Sierra it was her Michinoku Driver II and rockSTARR, and Jenna would hit a Pumphandle Powerbomb and a top rope Molly Go Round. The conclusion of the match came when Sierra looked to hit Starry Knight, which Jenna avoided. Jenna lifted Sierra onto her shoulders looking for Jennacide, and that's when the lights in the arena go out. The feed is replaced by parts of a video package aired two weeks ago:
Transistor radio: “Turn and face the….*static* strange…. Ch-ch-changes….
Total blackness… hands appear… hands are painted … some red… some white….. they move around in the blackness then come back together… tracing over each other as if writing on an unseen wall to produce a pinkish effect under a blacklight. Three splattered letters are traced out:
KMD
Several hands move forward in the darkness to cover the camera. Then nothing. Static Screen. Blue Screen. Static Screen. Blue Screen. Static… and the volume slowly grows to deafening levels and cuts out.
The feed returns to the pitch black arena, after a few seconds the lights come back on. Jenna Tonic is laid out in the middle of the ring, with the letters "KMD" spray painted onto the mat next to her. Sierra is leaning in the corner, not knowing what just happened. She looks around, before quickly running to cover Jenna, which gets a successful three count.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, SIERRA STARR!
Post Match: Sierra celebrates, acting as if she had won the match all by herself. When she exits the ring, the cameras focus on the still motionless Jenna Tonic, with KMD spray painted next to her, before cutting backstage.
In the interview set, we have the Cross City Stallions, sans an interviewer.
Marky Mustang: Castration? Slaughtering horses? Feasting on blood? Seems like a bit much, boys.
Max Maximus: WE'RE NOT EVEN HORSES! WE'RE PEOPLE!
Marky Mustang: Yes, we aren't literally stallions, but they were speaking in metaphor. We see through you, Hand of Blood. You don't intimidate us. You can't even beat us in a fair match, you always resort to disqualifications and under handed tactics.
Max Maximus: WHEN I GET A BLOODY HAND, I PUT A BAND-AID ON IT, AND WE'RE GONNA PUT A BAND-AID ON YOU, HANDS OF BLOOD!
Marky Mustang: What he means is, at AXW Supershow III, we're going to show that the Hand of Blood is nothing without their cheating ways. It's gonna be a standard tag team match, except if you two intentionally get disqualified, we win the belts. And Supershow III is still a little ways away, so you have plenty of time to practice not cheating. We'll see you boys soon.
SUBMISSION MATCH
Hailey Harris vs. Caitlin Shay
One on one, no Sean Foster or Slamsley McBody at ringside. The ladies lock up and Caitlin is quick to apply a side headlock, yelling at Hailey, telling her to "Tap so I can leave this god awful state," Hailey responds with a back suplex. Hailey tries to lock in a cross armbar, but Caitlin scurries to the ropes. Caitlin is on the apron, Hailey approaches her, but gets a good poke to the eye. Caitlin springboards in with a headscissors, that sends Hailey face first into the second turnbuckle. Caitlin follows it up with a running forearm smash to the cornered Hailey, following it up by using the rope to lock in a sort of key lock maneuver on Hailey's arm. Caitlin pulls Hailey out of the corner, and hits an arm wrench, slamming the arm into the mat. Still holding onto the arm, Caitlin drags Hailey back to the corner. Caitlin slides out of the ring, and slams Hailey's arm into the ring post. Caitlin enters the rings and locks in a cross armbreaker, a move she picked up from Luke Mathews. However, they were a bit too close to the ropes as Hailey was able to break the hold. Hailey gets back into the match by taking Caitlin down with a crescent kick, following it up with a snap ddt and a missile dropkick. Hailey locks in a simple cravate, and after realizing that it wasn't gonna put Caitlin away, turns it into a cutter. Hailey then hatches an idea, and waits for Caitlin to get up. When she does, Hailey hits her reverse STO that she calls Check This Out, and without missing a beat, locks in a Koji clutch. It's enough to make Caitlin tap, however, the referee is distracted as Sean Foster ran down to the ring and is on the apron. Hailey doesn't realize this, so she releases the hold, thinking she won. It doesn't take long for her to realize what was going on, so when she sees Sean she runs at him and hits a dropkick, sending him flying off the apron. When she goes back to Caitlin, Caitlin plants her into the mat with a reverse STO of her own, and floats over into an anaconda vice, a combination Caitlin calls the Kiss of Death. With her arm in bad shape, Hailey is forced to tap.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, CAITLIN SHAY!
Post Match: Caitlin quickly exits the ring, and helps Sean up to his feet. They back up the ramp, as Caitlin holds her finger and thumb in the shape of an L on her forehead. In the ring, Hailey holds her arm, looking pissed off, before heading into commercial.
We go backstage where we see the team of Corbin Mason and Jamie Fuller, sitting at a table, playing with cards.
Jamie Fuller: Got any threes?
Corbin Mason: Nope, go fish.
Jamie Fuller: Hey, do you hear something?
The two stop what they're doing, trying to listen for a vague sound. There is a sound, and it seems to be getting closer. It's none other than the Push, carrying a boombox, playing the soundtrack from Back to the Future. Jamie stops them.
Jamie Fuller: Hey, guys, got a moment?
Timmy McDermott: What's going on? We were just on our way to get some cheese puffs while we jam out to some Bon Jovi. Wanna join us?
Corbin Mason: I love Bon Jovi! Especially that song "Lost Highway," that's one of my favorites.
The Push look at each other in confusion.
Jimmy Reynolds: They don't have a song called that... do they?
Timmy McDermott pulls out Bon Jovi's first four albums, seemingly from out of nowhere, looking at their track listing.
Timmy McDermott: Nope. No such song. I got all their albums right here!
Corbin Mason: They have more albums than that though...
Jamie Fuller: Look, that sounds fun and all, but what we would really love is a match against you guys. You guys are one of the hottest tag teams in AXW, and just being able to get into the ring with you would help put us on the map.
Jimmy Reynolds: Sure, we'll wrestle you, but are you sure about not wanting to jam out to Bon Jovi?
Corbin Mason: I will! I love cheese puffs!
Jamie Fuller: I'm good.
Corbin gets up from his chair and exits with the Push, while Jamie looks on. Jamie decides to look at Corbin's hand.
Jamie Fuller: He did have threes!
With that, we go back to the ring.
SINGLES MATCH
Mateusz Bartkowiak vs Bruiser Lazzou
The match begins with an old fashioned brawl, Mateusz unhappy with the veteran turning his back on him. Bruiser gets gets the better hand of the brawl, each punch knocking Mateusz back until he against the ropes. Bruiser traps MB's arms in the top and middle rope, and continues his slugfest. Referee Gus Ramos has to throw the match out already as Bruiser shows no signs of letting up. Gus tries to pull Bruiser away, but just gets shoved away. The other four referees run down, trying to pull Bruiser off, but they are unsuccessful as Bruiser shoves them all away as well. A handful of some of the face wrestlers, some security, and even Luke Mathews come down to the ring, and with the help of the five referees, finally are able to pull Bruiser off. Bruiser holds up his hands, signalling he is done, leaving the ring, smiling, satisfied with what he has done. Luke Mathews and Brian Sullivan untrap what we see is a bloodied Mateusz Bartkowiak, who crumples to the mat, prompting Luke to throw up the X, as the ringside doctor runs to the scene.
Salvatore Pellegrino: The winner of this match as a result of a disqualification, Mateusz Bartkowiak.
The cameras quickly cut to backstage, where Bobo Sweetcakes is alone in a locker room, sitting on a bench, holding ice to his ankle. There's a knock on the door, and David Slayton enters.
Bobo Sweetcakes: Before you say anything, I just wanna be left alone for a bit.
David sighs.
David Slayton: Okay, Bobo. You have my number, so when you feel like talking, just give me a call buddy.
David exits the room, but doesn't fully close the door. Shortly, another knock is heard.
Bobo Sweetcakes: I said I wanna be--
Bobo looks up to see Olya Oglovski.
Olya Oglovski: Oh, my sweet Bobo. I brought you red velvet muffin with cream cheese frostink. And, I have another muffin you can eat later.
Olya hands Bobo the muffin, who begins to eat it.
Olya Oglovska: I can guide you, Bobo. I've been on winnink streak, I can make you a winner, Bobo.
Olya says that while caressing Bobo's cheek.
Bobo Sweetakes: ...Okay. And I can teach you how to bake, because this muffin sucks. We'll make a great pairing!
We cut to our final commercial break.
MAIN EVENT
AXW CHAMPIONSHIP
TRIPLE THREAT
Magnum Wolf (c) vs. Justin Wyndham vs. Crest Silver
Crest Silver and Crash Jackson have since reconciled since their mishap two week ago. They make their entrance first, followed by Justin Wyndham, followed by Magnum Wolf.
As soon as the introductions finish and the bell sounds, Magnum quickly exits the ring. He leans against the announce table, and watches as Justin and Crest start. They lock up, the bigger Silver shoving Justin to the mat. Justin gets right back up and hits Silver with a dropkick. Meanwhile, Jackson looks to get involved early, going towards Wolf, who seems him coming. Wolf kicks Jackson in the gut and tosses him into the ring post. At the same time, Wyndham hit Silver with an enzuigiri, which caused him to go onto all fours near the ropes. Justin goes off the opposite ropes, steps off Silver's back, going over the top rope with a suicide dive to Wolf, which sends Wolf into, and over, the announce table. Justin looks to grab Wolf, but instead Justin is grabbed by Silver, who throws him back in the ring. Wyndham and Silver would go back and forth for a bit, until Justin would take full control, hitting some of his big moves such as Peace Out, a Ranhei, and Global Phenomena. Crash Jackson looked to involve himself again, he slid into the ring and looked to take out Wyndham with Blind Rage, but Wyndham side steps and Jackson ends up spearing Silver! Jackson turns back to Wyndham but is taken out with the World's Most Wanted! With Silver in perfect position, Wyndham ascends to the top turnbuckle, and looks for El Fenix. Silver managed to roll out of the way, but Justin was able to land on his feet. That didn't seem to matter, as Justin was kicked in the gut and planted with the Totally Awesome Powerbomb. Before Silver can even think about pinning Wyndham, he is thrown shoulder first into the ring post by Wolf, and lands outside on the floor. Wolf simply places a foot on the chest of Wyndham, raising his fists into the air as referee Matt Baker makes the three count.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, and STILL AXW Champion, MAGNUM WOLF!
Post Match: Magnum, who really did nothing this match, raises his championship into the air, tapping his head, signalling that he outsmarted everyone. Magnum leaves the ring, as Jaclson and Silver begin to regroup on the outside, and frustration is building up in Wyndham who pounds on the mat.
