Episode LVI
Pyro blasts from the stage as we gear up for another episode of The Alternative.
Lily Luna: Welcome from Winnipeg, this is The Alternative! I'm Lily Luna joined by Chris Pierce, and Chris we have a good show in store for the fans tonight.
Chris Pierce: Five action packed matches, an exciting tag team main event, but we're gonna start the night off with some singles action.
"Skeletons" fades out as we prepare for the first match of the evening.
After seven seconds from the beginning of the song, Viola steps forward on the stage. She blows kisses to the crowd. She then makes her way to the ring while slapping the fans' hands, hugging some of the kids on the way.
Jen Brunelli: This opening contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, wrestling out of Toronto, Ontario, weighing 102 pounds, VIOLA HILLS!
Viola slides into the ring and poses for the crowd, who cheer for her. She then turns to the stage, hyped for her match.
"Confident" by Demi Lovato plays throughout the arena. Purple lights consume the stage area, where Kaylee Violet emerges. She holds her arms up into the air before strutting her way down the ramp.
Jen Brunelli: Her opponent, wrestling out of Jupiter, Florida, weighing 122 pounds, KAYLEE VIOLET!
Kaylee walks up the ring steps and steps between the ropes. She climbs the turnbuckles and raises her arms once more, before stepping down with her music fading out.
vs.
The larger Violet is able to out-power Viola, with maneuvers such as a Fisherman Neckbreaker, Side Slam, Northern Lights Suplex, and Reverse Suplex. Viola is able to utilize her quickness and high flying ability to her advantage, delivering maneuvers like Hurricanrana, Roundhouse Kick, Springboard leg drop, and The Bombshell (Flying forearm smash). It's Viola Hills who leaves this match victorious after a SparkleSlam (Straight Jacket Neckbreaker Slam).
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, VIOLA HILLS!
Lily Luna: The newcomer continues to impress as she leaves with a second win in AXW.
Chris Pierce: And being the smallest competitor in all of AXW, I'm interested to see what the future holds for her.
Viola has her arm raised in victory as she takes the time to celebrate in the ring. She exits the ring and high fives the fans on her way to the back.

The camera cuts backstage to Craig Brooks.
Craig Brooks: Craig Brooks here, and my guest at this time is "The Punk Rock Rebel" Allyson Hydecker.
The camera zooms out to see Allyson.
Craig Brooks: Allyson, on January 30 you were drafted to BWF Mayhem, and not even 24 hours later, you also sign a contract to compete full time in AXW. Why did you decide to have this increased work schedule?
Allyson Hydecker: Well, it's really just happened to be how things unraveled. I started off just trying to make a name for myself by having those few random matches here, as well as competing in Mystic Wrestling. After those few matches I was actually offered the full time contract to compete here in AXW, and before I can even think about processing that, I'm drafted to BWF Mayhem. With the relationship AXW and BWF has it wasn't out of the question for me to compete for both and further make a name for myself, so I went for it. The dual paychecks don't hurt either.
Craig Brooks: One more question, I just ordered a pizza and am actually a few bucks short, do you think you could pitch in? You do have those dual paychecks and all.
Allyson Hydecker: I can, but only if you save me a couple slices.
Craig Brooks: One slice.
Allyson Hydecker: Three.
Craig Brooks: Two is as high as I can go.
Allyson Hydecker: Deal.
The two shake on it and Allyson pulls some money out of her pocket and hands it to Craig before fading back to ringside.

"How Sweet to be an Idiot" by Neil Innes as Cloud comes out of the curtains with one hand on his pocket and the other hand holding a lighter. He flicks the lighter and stares at the flame as if he was in a trance and then he points up at the sky, saying, "Rest in Peace Sensei." Cloud puts the lighter back in his pocket and makes his way to the ring.
Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, wrestling out of Los Angeles, California, weighing 210 pounds, CLOUD!
He slaps hands with almost every fans and then later regrets leaving few fans hanging before entering the ring. Cloud then goes to the nearest corner and sits down like Raven, patiently waiting for the match to start
"Hear Me Now" plays throughout the arena and Malcolm M. Mitchell makes his way to the stage. He takes a moment to taunt, throwing shadow punches, then runs his hands through his hair and flicks the water off his hands, keeping his arms spread with his head up, soaking in the reaction from the crowd.
Jen Brunelli: His opponent, wrestling out of Riviera Beach, Florida, weighing 214 pounds, MALCOLM M. MITCHELL!
He walks down to the ring with confidence in every step. Malcolm enters the ring, climbs to the second turnbuckle, and does the same taunt he did on the stage.
vs.
A solid back and forth contest from the Light Heavyweights. Some of Cloud's offense includes Handspring back elbow, Lighting Strikes Twice (Pepsi Twist), Springboard Flash Kick, Cloud 9 (Diving Moonsault to standing opponent), Pulling piledriver, and a Grey Sky (Snap DDT onto the ring apron) that almost sees a count out victory. Some of Malcolm's big moves are Zigzag, Sit-out Spinebuster, Plancha, Hammerlock DDT, Blue Thunder Bomb, Moonsault. The conclusion of the match sees Malcolm going for a Faceplant (Fame Asser), which Cloud counters with a schoolboy for a pinfall victory.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, CLOUD!
Lily Luna: This is perhaps Cloud's biggest win in AXW as he defeats Malcolm M. Mitchell!
Chris Pierce: And this is certainly not want Malcolm Mitchell wants after his speech last week.
Cloud is surprised at the win and continuously asks Brian Sullivan if he's sure it was three. Cloud eventually celebrates while Malcolm, on his knees, looks down at the mat, you can tell he's beyond disappointed with himself. Cloud offers a handshake to Malcolm, Malcolm weakly accepts it before leaving the ring, now making Cloud feel bad.
At the interview set, Gina Furlow is stood next to a visibly angry Katsuko Nakamoto and her not as angry translator, April Maeda.
Gina Furlow: Katsuko, how are you feeling after last week--
Katsuko Nakamoto: Karera wa sore o kōkai surudarou!
April Maeda: She says they will regret it.
Gina Furlow: Alright, well there are two of them, and the only ally you truly have is April, who is not a wrestler. How exactly are you going to combat the both of them?
Katsuko does not reply verbally. Instead, she holds up the fox hand sign.
April Maeda: The Fox God is on her side.
With that, Katsuko and April walk away.

All the lights in the arena cut out as the opening beats of Pretty Girls by Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea kicks in. Blue flashing lights start strobing throughout the whole arena in time with the beat of the music. Deva appears on the staging and poses there for a few seconds before heading down the ramp with an arogant smile upon her face.
Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, wrestling out of Orlando, Florida, weighing 135 pounds, DEVA!
She then climbs onto the apron and shake her hips a little in time with the music before getting into the ring and preparing for her match.
"OooowoahOooWoooah"
The opening line of "Cloud Nine" blared throughout the P.A. System when Alundra walked out to the top of the stage of the AXW arena, striking a few sly poses as her music continued to play.
"If you want to live, let live
If you want to go, let go
I'm never afraid to dream to sleep, sleep forever
"I don't need to touch the sky
I just want to feel the high
And you refuse to let me"
Jen Brunelli: Her opponent, wrestling out of Brooklyn, New York by way of Seoul, South Korea, weighing 120 pounds, "The Korean Assassin" ALUNDRA-YOON LEE!
The Korean Assassin would then strut down the ramp, slapping a few hands as she embraced the crowd's effervescent atmosphere before walking up the steel slips and going the ring along, turning her head back to blow a kiss. She puts up a peace sign as she turns her body out, sliding over the middle rope and into the ring. Alundra then perches herself up on the second turnbuckle, putting a revolver sign above her chest with her index fingers and blowing it off before jumping off the ropes, planting her feet back on the mat.
vs.
Another back and forth contest that sees Deva deliver a German Suplex, Tree Of Woe Spear, Delayed Cradled Suplex, Running Bulldog into the second turnbuckle, Full Nelson Bomb. Some moves from Alundra-Yoon are a Hurricanrana, Backbreaker, Jumping Neckbreaker, Diving Meteora, Springboard ArmDrag. The match ends suddenly when Deva hits Alundra-Yoon with Blah Blah BLAM (Superkick) for the victory.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, DEVA!
Lily Luna: An impressive effort from both competitors, but only one can leave victorious and it's Deva tonight.
Chris Pierce: Conspicuous by her absence is Alundra-Yoon Lee's manager Sylvia who I understand is sick tonight, perhaps that threw Alundra-Yoon off her game.
Deva walks back up the ramp, as confidently as she did walking down it previously, as we head backstage.

Bobo Sweetcakes is standing by.
Bobo Sweetcakes: Ah, there you are. Only took you a week to get everything.
The camera pans to see who we assume is Brad Adams behind a comically large brown bag of groceries.
Brad Adams: Yeah, it took me forever to find that jaggery you wanted, whatever that is. It also took a bit longer because I made sure everything was gluten free!
Bobo knocks the bag onto the floor, some of its contents spilling out. Bobo pulls out his handy creme brulee torch and sets it on fire.
Brad Adams: What are you doing?!
Bobo Sweetcakes: It's contaminated with your gluten free nonsense! Take it all back and get a refund.
Brad Adams: I--I--can't! It's all on fire!
Bobo Sweetcakes: Well whose fault is that?
Brad Adams: Yours!
Bobo Sweetcakes: I'm not the one with the gluten free fetish.
Brad Adams: It's an allergy, not a fetish!
Bobo Sweetcakes: Whatever, I have a match to prepare for anyway.
Bobo walks off, leaving Brad next to a burning bag of ingredients. It takes a moment for Brad to realize how bad it looks for him to be standing there alone, and quickly leaves.
“S-P-I-R-I-T
Spirit!! Let’s hear it!!
S-P-I-R-I-T
Spirit!! Let’s hear it!!”
Blue strobe lights roams around the arena like a trance as the opening tune of "Happy Song” by Bring Me The Horizon blares out of the PA system.
“LET’S GO!”
Out comes Janet Hurricane, her hoodie veil blinding her face. As the tempo gets faster and faster, we see her jumping up and down, still cannot see her face. Once we hear the lyrics, Janet reveals her face to the crowd and starts shadowing punching and kicking, feeling the energy of her theme song. She then starts walking her way to the ring, bopping her head to the music and in her own zone, not giving a damn about the fans’ reaction.
Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, wrestling out of Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing 120 pounds, she is the AXW Women's Champion, "The Queen of the Ravenous Generation" JANET HURRICANE!
Once she enters the ring, she takes off her hoodie and does a couple of shadow boxing, again feeling the energy of the music before it fades.

The camera focuses at the Alternatron where we see a countdown clock counting ticking from 10 to 1 as we also hear kids counting down with the countdown clock to the tune of "Baker Number 5" by Sesame Street. Suddenly loud cannon like explosions are heard and the song, "Vegas Lights" by Panic! At the Disco starts blaring out. In comes Ava Victoria Cannon out of the curtains and already having a huge smile on her face.
Jen Brunelli: Her opponent, wrestling out of Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing 120 pounds, "Countdown" AVA CANNON!
She energetically rushes to the ring and slides in. She does a couple of shadow punches and kicks in the ring before blowing a kiss to the audience and her opponent(s)
vs.
Non-Title
This affair is more one sided, with Ava only getting a few big moves in, such as her Superwoman Punch and Kicking and Punching Combination. Janet on the other hand is able to deliver her big moves, like Spinning backbreaker, Cry of Terror(Rope-hung DDT), Sitout Facebuster, Tropical Storm (Forward Russian Legsweep), and DIE MOTHER F*CKER DIE(Rope hung Boston crab). It's a Wrath of the Hurricane (Maryse’s Heel Kick) that sees victory for the Women's Champion.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, JANET HURRICANE!
Lily Luna: Janet Hurricane continues to be unstoppable as she defeats a former dominate underground fighter like it was nothing.
Chris Pierce: Later on on AXW we're gonna see who will challenge Janet at Collide for the AXW Women's Championship, and if I'm honest, I'm not sure either Rochelle or Android 18 can dethrone her.
Referee Shane Gates hands Janet her championship and raises her arm high. Janet poses on the turnbuckles before making her way to the back.

A dejected Malcolm M. Mitchell is walking backstage, head hung low. Renee Peltier approaches him and he reluctantly stops.
Renee Peltier: Malcolm, I know this is the last thing you want to do right now, but please forgive me as I'm just doing my job. Can we get your thoughts on the outcome of your match earlier tonight?
Malcolm looks at Renee, and lightly says
Malcolm M. Mitchell: No.
Malcolm keeps walking.

"Rocketman" starts with all of the lights out with some smoke and one spotlight
"She packed my bags last night pre flight
Zero hour nine a.m.
And I'm gonna be high, as a kite by then
I miss the earth so much, I miss my wife
It's lonely out in space
On such a timeless flight
And I think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone"
Then a hooded figure shows up and waits at the spotlight.
"And I think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone"
Ben raises his arms simultaneously taking off his cape and walks to the ring.
Jen Brunelli: This is your Alternative Main Event, a Tag Team contest set for one fall! Introducing first, wrestling out of Mason City, Iowa, weighing 223 pounds, he is the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, BEN "ROCKET MAN" EATR!
"Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids
In fact it's cold as Hell
And there's no one there to raise them if you didn't
And all this science, I don't understand
It's just my job, five days a week
A rocket man, a rocket man"
On beat with the song Ben climbs the apron and jumps on the turnbuckle.
"And I think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone
And I think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone"
Ben keeps his arms up then jumps into the ring.
"Now, I think it's gonna be a long long time
And I think it's gonna be a long long time
And I think it's gonna be a long long time
And I think it's gonna be a long long time"
‘Invincible’ by Adelitas Way hits and Acer Stone runs out from the back looking pumped up and energetic. He heads down the ramp and punches the air three times as red pyros go off at the top of the ramp behind him.
Jen Brunelli: His partner, wrestling out of Tampa, Florida, weighing 165 pounds, ACER STONE!
Acer heads over to the fans and slaps hands with them as he gets to the ring. He climbs into the ring and works the crowd a little more before they join him in punching the air three times.
"Remedy" by Seether plays of the P.A. system as the camera pans over the arena stopping at the entrance way as Danny Hall, sporting a fur vest, strolls down to the ring stopping sometimes to yell at children,
Jen Brunelli: Their opponents, first, wrestling out of Camden, Tennessee, weighing 220 pounds, "Mr. Most Hated" DANNY HALL!
then when he gets to the ring he rolls under the bottom rope to sit in the corner then he stands up.....in the corner.
"Everywhere I Go" starts with flashing while lights.
"Everywhere I go
Bitches always know
That Charlie Scene got a weenie that he loves to show (bitch)
Everywhere I go
Bitches always know"
Chaz Anix comes out with a gym tee cut to show his mustles slowly with his arms outstretched and his eyes closed
"Wake up!"
Chaz opens his eyes quickly and rips off his shirt and makes his way down to the ring
Jen Brunelli: His partner, accompanied to the ring by "Mr. Lust" Chester Andrews, wrestling out of Miami, Florida, weighing 234 pounds, "Dr. Big Freaking Deal" CHAZ ANIX!
"Grab beer
Grab rear
Shave beard
Put on some scene gear
Gotta get drunk before my mom wakes up
Break up, with my girlfriend so I can bang sluts
I'm undead
Unfed
Been sleeping on, bunk beds, since ten
So if I don't booze it
I'm gonna lose it
Everybody get to it
Do it
Get ruined."
Chaz stops at the end of the ramp and flexes then he slides into the ring.
vs.
A highly competitive tag team contest where each man is able to get in good offense. During the match Ben Eatr crashes and burns as he looks for his Springboard 450 to a standing opponent, this time doing it from inside the ring to outside, looking to use it on Chaz Anix who moves out of the way and Ben lands hard on the edge of the ramp. With the legal man, Acer Stone, now having no one to tag, it's easier for Hall and Anix to secure the win as Anix delivers BOOM!(Helluva Kick), where Danny also tags himself in, and scoops Stone up for a Hallway to Hell (Roode Bomb).
Jen Brunelli: Here are your winners, CHAZ ANIX and DANNY HALL!
Lily Luna: Surely Anix's BOOM! was enough to secure a victory, but it appears Danny Hall thought otherwise.
Chris Pierce: Doesn't hurt to be safe. Chaz might not be too happy about it, but the makeshift team wins regardless.
Lily Luna: And that was a nasty spill that Ben Eatr took, we now know that he and Danny Hall will meet at Collide for the title, he's gonna wanna be more careful as we approach March 18.
Danny Hall celebrates the win more than Anix. Anix pretty much has his hand raised and walks to the back with Andrews.
Lily Luna: That's it for this week's edition of The Alternative, don't go anywhere as AXW is up next here on ION!
