MTS Centre
Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
Episode LX
After the opening video package, pyro blasts from the stage and Alternatron. Cameras pan across the crowd as we are welcomed by Mike Vincent.
Mike Vincent: This is AXW! Coming to you live from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, we have what we expect to be a great show in store. I'm Mike vincent joined by Cole Haywood.
Cole Haywood: Tonight's Main Event sees two former AXW Champions do battle as current Tag Team Champion Justin Wyndham faces current Hall of Famer Duncan Aries.
Mike Vincent: We'll also see who will face Janet Hurricane at Collide for the AXW Women's Championship, but right now we're gonna get things underway with an AXW Xperience Championship Match.
The opening riffs of 'Pour Some Sugar on me' hits, and the arena goes dark with a single pink spotlight near the entrance. As the drums hit, Bobo comes out, flashing a bright smile, wearing a black pinstriped Chef's apron over his pink and black tights. He holds a tray in his hands which naturally contains samples of his cakes, that he baked to perfection. He proceeds to feed the samples to the fans at ringside before sliding the tray underneath the ring. He climbs into the ring and throws his apron to the crowd.
“Reach out and touch faith
Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who cares
Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who's there”
Crest Silver slowly walks out from the back with a smug grin on his face. He walks down a little to the top of the ramp and throws his arms into the air, at which time pyros go off. After this he saunters down to the ring shouting at the crowd ‘Awesome ends in ME!’. He slides under the bottom rope into the ring where he eagerly waits for the match to get under way.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This opening AXW contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the AXW Xperience Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, wrestling out of Skaneateles, New York, weighing 238 pounds, "The Master Pâtissier" BOBO SWEETCAKES!
Bobo raises a fist in the air as he's looking forward to claiming the Xperience Championship.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponent, wrestling out of Chicago, Illinois, weighing 241 pounds, he is the defending AXW Xperience Champion, "King of the Elites" CREST SILVER!
Crest raises his title high into the air before handing it off to Jessie McCormick.
vs.
Pretty even match up, a lot was put on display. From Silver we see Double-Arm Backbreaker, Spinning Suplex, Gutwrench Powerbomb, Tree Of Woe - Running Dropkick To The Face, Backstabber, Implant DDT, and Russian Leg Sweep followed by a Standing Moonsault. Sweetcakes is able to execute his German Suplex + Dragon Suplex + Tiger Suplex combo, Leapfrog evasion into Sunset Flip, Dough Toss (Release Gutwrench Suplex on turnbuckle), Swinging Full Nelson Slam, Pop-up Cutter, Sugar Rush (Multiple series of Punches to opponent, ending with a Palm heel uppercut, Usually a comeback move), Tiger Flowsion. The match ends in disqualification when Chaz Anix attacks Crest Silver.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner by disqualification, and still AXW Xperience Champion, Crest Silver!
Mike Vincent: What's Chaz Anix doing? He just ruined a perfectly good match!
Cole Haywood: He's still not too thrilled about losing the Xperience Championship at Winterslam, he's looking to get right back into title contention.
Chaz doesn't stop with Silver as he also attacks Bobo. He exits the ring and snatches the Xperience Championship, shouting "This is mine!" Chaz throws the title down and leaves the arena as we go backstage.

Gina Furlow is at the interview set.
Gina Furlow: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest, Sean Black.
The camera zooms out and we see The Anarchist, his signature flag draped across his neck.
Gina Furlow: Sean, everyone wants to know, why did you attack The Notch last week?
Sean Black: "The Notch" sounds like the name of some crappy nineties cartoon character, and as far as I'm concerned, that's exactly what he is. The Notch is this world renowned wrestler competing since the nineties. You know who else fits that exact description? Me. He gets these hype vignettes and has his first match back on main AXW television. Meanwhile I don't get fancy vignettes. I have to scratch and claw on The Alternative, back when it was an internet exclusive show, competing against nobodies before I'm allowed on AXW tv. This isn't coming from a place of jealousy, because frankly, I don't need the hype like he does. That's why he's a bigger name than me, because he's overhyped and overrated. I am reality, and the reality is that he is not on my level, no matter where he's been or how many championships he's won. He's nothing. If he's looking for one last hoorah while Sean Black is here, then he's got a Deathwish.

PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT!
The lights in the arena all cut to black and the Tron comes to life, pulsating with a green light as a quiet beat gets louder with every flash. It gets faster and faster, and louder with each pulse, until the pulsating light explodes into the words "Blazenwing Rises" and “The Phoenix” by Fall Out Boy blares across the arena sound system.
You are a brick tied to me that's dragging me down
Strike a match and I'll burn you to the ground
We are the jack-o-lanterns in July
Setting fire to the sky
He-here comes this rising tide
So come on
PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT!
The stage fills with smoke and the crowd rises to their feet, cheering loudly, as the smoke clears on the stage and a man in a dark green trenchcoat stands, head down, facing the Tron. He raises his hands and snaps his fingers, causing four loud bursts of pyro to ignite, two on each side of him, before spinning around Y2J style to reveal David Slayton!
Salvatore Pellegrino: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, wrestling out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, weighing 245 pounds, here is "The New Hotness" DAVID SLAYTON!
Cross walks and crossed hearts and hope-to-dies
Silver clouds with grey linings
So we can take the world back from the heart-attacked
One maniac at a time we will take it back
You know time crawls on when you're waiting for the song to start
So dance alone to the beat of your heart
His sunglasses shining with the glare from the arena lights, David looks to the left, then to the right, nodding towards the crowd before walking down the ramp. After stopping to slap hands with a few fans, David moves towards the ring steps and hops up and down a few times in front of them before quickly racing up the steps to the apron side facing the stage. He stops and pulls his sunglasses off, then tosses them behind his head into the crowd before leaning down and stepping through the ropes to enter the ring.
Hey young blood
Doesn't it feel like our time is running out?
I'm gonna change you like a remix
Then I'll raise you like a phoenix
You're wearing our vintage misery
No, I think it looked a little better on me
I'm gonna change you like a remix
Then I'll raise you like a phoenix
David walks across the ring and leaps up onto the second rope in the corner nearest the timekeeper, then pulls off his green trenchcoat and tosses it towards the timekeeper. David smirks and points to the fans, then slaps his chest a few times and points up towards the sky, closing his eyes and saying a short prayer. David leaps down from the corner and immediately turns to sit down in the same corner, ala Raven. David then rests his head on the second turnbuckle pad as his theme fades and the crowd continues cheering.
"Path vol II" echoes across the arena. Destiny appears in the stands schmoozing with a few of the fans while she makes her way down the steps.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponent, wrestling out of Kansas City, Missouri, weighing 123 pounds, DESTINY MAVERICK!
She slaps hands with the fans along the way while approaching the barricade and finally climbing atop it. Lifting her hands into the air, she pumps the crowd for a larger reaction. Off the barricade, Destiny climbs up onto the ring apron and then the top turnbuckle. Once more pumping the crowd before back flipping into the ring.
vs.
A competitive match despite the size differential. David's highlights include a Double Underhook Backbreaker, Samoan Drop, Standing Anklelock Submission, Triple German Suplex, Sit-Out Facebuster, Crossface Chickenwing, Devil-lock DDT. Some moves from Destiny include a headscissors, leg lariat, Judo Throw, Soccer Kick, Standing moonsault, Drive-by kick, and Upsetter (When destiny is tossed toward the barricade, She runs up and launches back with a leg lariat). With the fight on the outside of the ring no punches are being held back, Destiny manages to duck one and hits David with a swift roundhouse kick, David falling back and landing on the announce table. Destiny climbs up the turnbuckles and leaps off with a Fiery Illusion (Swandive elbow drop) onto David through the announce table! Neither competitor is able to make it back in the ring to break the twenty count.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Due to a double count out, this match has been ruled a draw!
Mike Vincent: A chaotic ending to this match as there are bodies and announce table pieces scattered in front of us!
Cole Haywood: I'll give Destiny Maverick her props, she wants to make a name for herself as a singles competitor and putting a multiple time world champion through an announce table doesn't hurt.
Mike Vincent: Seeing what's in front of us on the floor here, I'd argue that it hurts a lot.
Cole Haywood: You know what I mean.
A few of the referees and other medical personnel come down to check on Maverick and Slayton, who start to stir and appear they're going to be alright as we fade to commercial.
We return backstage once more to Gina Furlow.
Gina Furlow: Joining me now is The Notch. Notch, during the commercial I showed you what Sean Black had to say, how do you respond?
The Notch: It's nothing I haven't experienced before, Gina. I've been doing this for many years, it's not like this is the first time it's happened. Sean was pointing out our similarities and differences, and there's another difference between us he failed to mention. He kept yapping on about why he did what he did, where as I elect to let my actions in the ring speak for me. So if he wants to further discussions, I won't be hard to find. It was easy enough for him to find me the first time, right?
Gina Furlow: Thanks for your time, Notch. Now back to ringside for more action.
-----
"My Own Worst Enemy" rings throughout the arena as the fan favorite tandem make their way down to the ring.
Sam De Santa: Now last week, you all saw it, Trent and Ricky were both attacked. Needless to say, they want revenge, so if the attackers have the guts to face them face to face, please come down to this ring.
Several moments pass.
The tune for Ghetto King starts up as The first words are spoken from behind the curtain walks out Mr Gives No Fucks, Quentin Rage. His eyes always looking around him as he walks to the ring bad mouthing people and threatening to smack any fans that try to touch him. Rage waits on the ramp as his music stops and Riot by Bullet For My Valentine kicks in.
Chopper walks out with a serious look on his face. He heads down to meet Rage, carrying his trademark metal chain with him. Chopper threatens to hit a fan with the chain as they make their way to the ring.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This tag team contest is scheduled for one fall, making their AXW Debut, at a combined weight of 525 pounds, the team of Chopper and Quentin Rage, S.O.B.!
The pair get into the ring and climb the ring posts and then flip the bird to the fans as the boos get louder. S.O.B ignore the boos from the fans and get ready for the match to start.
Mike Vincent: This newcoming tandem of Quentin Rage and Chopper could be disastrous for the tag team division. Both are well versed in MMA and are very no nonsense.
Cole Haywood: Essentially the complete opposite of Chicks and America, I for one am looking forward to their destruction.
vs.
This match lasts only a couple of minutes, with S.O.B. maintaining all of the offense. It's poor Trent Mathews on the receiving end of all of it, as he takes a Gutwrench Powerbomb, Reverse Chokeslam, and Full Nelson Bomb from Chopper, and a German Release Suplex, Tiger Suplex, and Muscle Buster from Quentin Rage. Rage whips Trent towards Chopper on the apron who nails him with Break Yo Face (High Impact Elbow Smash), and as Trent falls backwards, is locked in a Blinding Rage (Tazzmission), Trent is immediately unresponsive, giving S.O.B. their first win via submission.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here are your winners by way of submission, S.O.B.!
Mike Vincent: Absolute destruction by S.O.B.
Cole Haywood: It's already over? Man, they didn't even get to touch Ricky!
Chopper and Quentin Rage stand tall in the ring. Ricky Diamond looks to avenge his partner as he clubs Chopper in the back. An unfazed Chopper slowly turns around and upon making eye contact with Ricky, Ricky dives out of the ring and uses Sam as a shield as he makes his way out of the arena as quickly as he can.

We go backstage once more, this time to Max Kilburne, standing by with Janet Hurricane.
Max Kilburne: Max Kilburne here and I'm joined by the AXW Women's Champion, Janet Hurricane. Janet, after the commercial break, we're going to find out who will challenge you at Collide for your title. Do you have any sort of preference as to who you'd rather face?
Janet Hurricane: No, because no matter who wins this match, the result at Collide will be the same. No matter how many women decide to join this roster, no one's taking this from me. Android 18 is a supposed machine, and when you think about it, machines aren't that hard to take apart. And Rochelle... she's not even worth talking about, honestly.
Max Kilburne: Strong words from the champ, Number One Contendership on the line after the break.
"Invincible" by Amaranthe hits, the fast pounding drums blaring loudly from the speakers as the lights dim completely. They come back to Android 18 standing at the entrance ramp, head down, the words 'The code awakens me' flash along the Alternatron behind her as she opens her eyes and brings her head up slowly. She walks stoically down the ramp, a smirk spreading over her face as she goes. She stops in the middle of the ramp, raising her hands to actually sign the words 'I am Invincible.'
Salvatore Pellegrino: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is to determine the Number One Contender for the AXW Women's Championship! Introducing first, accompanied by "Sister Inferior" Olya Oglovska, wrestling out of Cork, Ireland, weighing 135 pounds, ANDROID 18!
Before continuing on and leaping straight up onto the ring post, she signs ''I am Invincible' one more time, entering the ring and awaiting the match to start.
The dance and pop-esque opening sound of "Boss Bitch" by the Millionaires begins to play throughout the arena while Lavender and Magenta lazers begin flashing. Just then would the Dominator In Distress herself walks out from behind the curtains, sashaying her way to the top of the ramp with her hand on her hip, the spotlight following her every move.
"I'm the type of girl that your momma never wanna meet
Centerfold in your daddy's hidden magazine
I'm kinda sweet and fake like Splenda
Topless on the beach, you can call me Kendra"
In between this stanza does Rochelle run her hand through her hair and winks while smiling towards the ring.
"But I'm not like the girl next door
Inbetween a cheerleader and a whore
Ra-ra-raw like sushi
Always keep it clean, no douching"
Salvatore Pellegrino: Her opponent, wrestling out of The Hamptons in Long Island, New York, weighing 117 pounds, "The Dominator in Distress" ROCHELLE!
The chorus for the song starts as Rochelle begins to strut down the ramp, swaying her hips as she looks at the capacity crowd. When she reaches ringside, she walks up the steel steps before walking along the ring apron, looking back at the crowd and blows a seductive and alluring kiss. Rochelle steps the bottom and middle ropes to get into the ring, walking to the center and taking a full spin before fluffing her hair up and blowing another kiss.
vs.
#1 Contendership
Rochelle had her work cut out for her, but was still able to deliver maneuvers such as a Swinging Neckbreaker, Diving Crossbody, I.P.A (I'm Prettier Anyway) [Sitout Facebuster], and Corner Slingshot Splash. The dominant Android 18 was able to control more of the match than Rochelle, and used moves like a Crooked arm lariat, Super Electric Strike (Striking spear), Sitout Powerbomb, Graceful Orbit (Lionsalt), Lifting Double Underhook Facebuster, Tiger feint kick, and Non-stop Violence (Spinning headlock elbow drop). Olya Oglovska is leaning forward on the apron, watching her girlfriend intently, when suddenly she gets a boot to the side of the head from Katsuko Nakamoto. Katsuko tosses Olya into the barricade. This of course catches the attention of Android 18, who gets rolled up by Rochelle, who uses both the grabbing of tights and the feet on the ropes methods to sneak out with what was barely a three count.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner and Number One Contender for the AXW Women's Championship, ROCHELLE!
Mike Vincent: Despite having her own agenda, Katsuko Nakamoto gives the assist to Rochelle who will get a second chance against Janet Hurricane.
Cole Haywood: Katsuko had no business being out here! Olya Oglovska was simply watching the match like the rest of us. It'd be no different if Katsuko decided to kick a ringside fan in the head!
Mike Vincent: Don't get so over-dramatic, Katsuko was doing exactly what the It Couple did to her. Meanwhile, Rochelle will meet Janet Hurricane at Collide for the AXW Women's Championship.
Rochelle immediately exits the ring and heads up the ramp, smiling from ear to ear as she looks forward to winning the AXW Women's Championship. Android 18 meanwhile exits the ring to go after Katsuko Nakamoto, who leaps over the barricade and exits through the crowd. A18 checks on Olya as we head backstage.

Somewhere in the arena, stands Damien Steele. The Vicious One has the AXW Championship hung over his shoulder.
Damien Steele: A few short hours ago, the world welcomed Emma Madison Shelley into this world. The innocence of a child is a beautiful thing, isn't it? Unfortunately, this isn't a beautiful world. This is a cold hard world where your dreams will not come true. How do I know that?
He taps the AXW Championship.
Damien Steele: Because I am the champion of this world. I will single-handedly ensure that anybody who challenges me for this has their dreams crushed. When that demon spawn grows to an age where she understands how cruel this world is, I hope she comes across this. I hope she watches Collide and see with her own eyes how her mother will fail to capitalize on her dreams. Starla Gardevoir will never be a World Champion again in her life, and after our match at Collide, may not even be able to wrestle again in her life. I don't care who you are, what gender you are, what race you are, how many kids you have, I will take great pleasure in beating you to a pulp and I will show not a single shred of mercy. Welcome to the Vicious Era.
Damien stares intently at the camera as we fade back to ringside.
-----
The opening beat of "ultranumb" by Blue Stahli as the crowd goes in a frenzy, hyped to see the arrival of "The World Warrior" The cameras focused on the countdown clock shown in the titantron while we hear a voice say, "Ultranumb"
"THREE. THREe, THRee, THree,Three
"TWO, TWO., two two
ONE"
"YOU WANT IT ALL RIGHT NOW"
The lights starts to flicker before coming back to normal as Justin Wyndham and TO'A aka Lethal Weapons comes out of the curtains. Justin bends down in one knee and looks at this imaginary watch, similar to CM Punk. TO'A is beside him with his signature towel drenched in blood and wrapped around his neck as he is looking down at the ground.
Salvatore Pellegrino: The following contest is your Main Event scheduled for one fall, introducing first, accompanied to the ring by AXW Tag Team Champion TO'A, wrestling out of Cloverleaf, Texas, weighing 210 pounds, AXW Tag Team Champion, "The World Warrior" JUSTIN WYNDHAM!
Justin does the cutthroat before getting up. Justin runs full speed to the ring and then around the ring, hyping up the fans while TO'A slowly makes his way down the ring, still not showing his face. Justin then slides into the ring and then bang his head to the nearest turnbuckle, hyping himself up before looking back at the crowd with a sick smile as TO'A walks up the steel steps and enters the ring. Justin then climbs at the turnbuckle and does the cuthroat sign before getting off while TO'A throws his towel on the mat and does a battle cry before the theme fades.
The arena lights descend to darkness, as the tron displays an old black and white vision of an apocalyptic scene, as within a broken building we hear the crackle and zap of electricity, pulses of computers, as there, standing before the rubble is a figure in a denim jacket and tattered denim jeans. The figure turns slowly, and forms a smirk from under a pair of black Aviator shades.
"Not even God can save you.."
The crowd roars to "Not Even God" by Digital Summer, as some are booing, some cheering, an ice blue hue filling the ramp and entrance, a thin mist that under a spotlight has an eerie glow for one Duncan Aries! Aries has his back to us, looking down, before spinning around, arms crossed and head cocked in a smirk.
Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponent, wrestling out of San Diego, California, weighing 238 pounds, AXW Hall of Famer, "The Wild Card" DUNCAN ARIES!
Aries strides to the ring, paying no mind before tossing his shades into the crowd and leaping onto the apron. Entering the ring, Aries spins around, basking in the glow of the reaction, positive or negative, tossing off his jacket, yelling out "Because I'm Duncan Aries, motherfuckers!" as "Not Even God" fades out.
vs.
The two former AXW Champions put on a hell of a match, Justin is able to deliver Global Phenomena (Swinging side slam backbreaker), Tiger Suplex, various knee strikes, Leap of Faith (No-handed suicide dive), Bound for Glory(360° corkscrew back elbow smash), tornado DDT, The Suicide Blonde (Daniel Bryan’s Inazuma Leg Lariat.), Ranhei, Texas Cloverleaf. Duncan's end sees roundhouse kick, German suplex, diving elbow drop, stiff kicks to the sternum of kneeled opponent, double powerbomb, sidewalk slam, running ax kick, Orton style backbreaker, Enter Gideon (Beautiful Disaster Kick), San Diego Driver (Full Nelson pickup released into a wheelbarrow facebuster). During the match, Aries would clothesline Wyndham out of the ring. TO'A went to check on his partner, where Aries blasts him from behind. Aries slides back into the ring, and TO'A slides in after, but Baker steps in front of TO'A, and ejects him from ringside. TO'A reluctantly goes to leave which is when Justin has re-entered the ring, and tries to plea with Baker. This is when Aries drills Wyndham with a big boot, before planting him with The Culmination (Front slam pickup swung into a Rock Bottom) for the victory.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, DUNCAN ARIES!
Mike Vincent: Say what you will about Duncan Aries, but the man is cunning. Devising a plan that gets Justin Wyndham distracted to leave with a win.
Cole Haywood: That's what separates Duncan Aries from the rest. There's a reason why he's the only active roster member in the Hall of Fame.
Aries has his arm raised before exiting the ring. Wyndham comes to and slams the mat in frustration.
Mike Vincent: That's a wrap for this week, thanks for tuning. For Cole Haywood, I'm Mike Vincent, good night!
