Saturday, May 13, 2017 Madison Square Garden New York City, New York Episode XXIV
The cameras open backstage at the Before the Bell set. John Hendon: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another edition of Before the Bell, I'm John Hendon and joining me are my colleagues Zack Fields... Zack Fields: Horizon is here, which means Rise isn't too far off. Welcome, everyone. John Hendon: And joining us for the first time since Winterslam, and this could be the last time she's at this desk, please welcome back former AXW Tag Team Champion, Zoey Mathews-Mitchell. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: It's great to be back here, and it's going to be better to finally get back into that ring tonight. John Hendon: So let's start with the elephant in the room, tonight's Main Event will see Zoey Mathews-Mitchell challenging for Janet Hurricane's AXW Women's Championship, and should Zoey lose, she will retire from professional wrestling. Zack Fields: What are you thinking, Zoey? If you spent the past year in the ring, I'd say sure, you have a good chance, but you've been out of the ring for a year and Janet Hurricane has been unstoppable. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: I've said everything I've had to say on the matter. I realize this isn't a good situation for me, but I'm confident in my abilities to make sure I leave tonight as the AXW Women's Champion. John Hendon: And for the uninformed, a quick history lesson: it was at Winterslam 2016 where a frustrated Janet Hurricane attacked Zoey. They had a hellacious street fight at Collide 2016, where Janet won via referee stoppage. They had a rematch at last year's Horizon in a Rage in a Cage Match, where Janet once again left victorious. During these two matches Zoey received a number of injuries and had to take time off, which resulted in a year off due to her pregnancy as well. Zack Fields: With all due respect, that's the reason why it's not looking good for Zoey. Janet is 2-0, and in both encounters, hurt Zoey badly. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: It's not happening a third time, I'll just say that. John Hendon: Moving on, we have a battle of two rising stars in the women's division, as Allyson Hydecker and Viola Hills face off. Zack Fields: A friendly rivalry, both looking to get to the top of the division and get themselves into the Women's Title picture. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: These girls are incredibly talented, it's going to be a great match. There is a bit of a size difference between the two, but that's not gonna matter in this one. John Hendon: So who do you guys have? I'll go with Viola Hills on this one. Zack Fields: Allyson Hydecker. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: I think I'll also go Allyson, but it could go either way, I'm just looking forward to a great match. John Hendon: Moving onto a championship match, we have the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion Ben Eatr defending his title against Cloud. Zack Fields: When Ben Eatr first came to AXW, he seemed to have some trouble finding his footing. Suddenly, he gets an opportunity to capture the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship, does it, and is now currently the holder of the longest single reign with the title. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: Cloud's start in AXW was pretty much identical to Eatr's. If history has anything to say, it could be that Cloud leaves tonight with the title. Zack Fields: I don't think so though, I think Ben Eatr is keeping his title tonight. John Hendon: I'm gonna agree with Zack here, Ben's been on fire as of late and I think his hot streak continues. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: I'm going with the underdog, I'm saying that Cloud leaves as the new AXW Light Heavyweight Champion. Zack Fields: More title action with the newly crowned AXW Xperience Champion Danny Hall defending his title against former champion Crest Silver. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: Can we talk about Danny Hall for a second? Say what you want about the guy, he's really turned his career around. He surfaces in 2015 in BWF, loses match after match, nobody taking him seriously, and now just two years later, is in his sixth title reign since joining BWF. At only 22 years old, this man is starting to take the world of professional wrestling by storm. John Hendon: And Crest Silver for one, is not too happy about that, as he was closing in on day ninety, and in comes Danny Hall to take the title away from him. Zack Fields: Fortunately for Crest Silver, he will be winning his championship back tonight. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: I'm picking Danny Hall here for the reasons I just stated. John Hendon: I think Crest Silver has a more cunning mind, and has the ability to win the Xperience Championship back tonight. Zack Fields: On the subject of cunning minds, that could be said for the AXW Champion Damien Steele, who defends his title against former and once again current enemy, TO'A. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: The last time these two encountered, it was Damien Steele who came out on top. Damien now has something to lose, and that's going to make him even more dangerous than he usually is. John Hendon: TO'A is also coming off a tag team title run, I'm sure he's still not happy about that and is looking to do everything in his power to recapture some gold. Zack Fields: This one is gonna be personal and hard hitting, but it's going to be Damien Steele who leaves still the AXW Champion. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: As dangerous as Steele can be, I think TO'A might get the better of Steele here. John Hendon: I'll agree with Zoey on this one, I think TO'A leaves tonight as the new AXW Champion. Zack Fields: Another high stakes championship match up sees the AXW Tag Team Champions Duncan Aries and Malcolm M. Mitchell defend against S.O.B. John Hendon: Zoey, I'm interested in your thoughts on this team of Duncan Aries and your husband, Malcolm M. Mitchell. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: Well it's no secret I'm not a fan of Duncan Aries, but Malcolm being a champion means he gets a champion's bonus, which means a better future for Rocco. They may not have to like each other outside the ring as long as they can get things done inside it. Zack Fields: Well unfortunately, they're going up against S.O.B., who have been completely destructive, and will likely be leaving tonight as the new AXW Tag Team Champions. John Hendon: Unfortunately, I have to agree with Zack by saying that I don't see how Aries and Mitchell will be getting out of this one with the titles intact. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: I'll never root against Malcolm therefore I will be picking the champions to retain. John Hendon: Another heated rivalry will be coming to a head tonight, with Katsuko Nakamoto going one on one with Olya Oglovska. Zack Fields: This is going to be a standard one on one match, meaning Katsuko will not legally be able to use any sort of mist. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: Katsuko's mist usage was the gift given to her by the supposed higher being known as the Fox God, and she has used it to help combat a numbers deficit against Olya Oglovska and Android 18, using black mist on Olya to defeat the two in a Handicap Match at Collide. John Hendon: And as Zack stated, she can't use the mist legally in this match tonight, though she may not need it. Zack Fields: Olya's going to be leaving tonight as the victor, since this an even playing field with no outside interjections. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: I'll agree with Zack here, Olya once was the longest reigning AXW Women's Champion for a reason. John Hendon: Katsuko's been impressive since debuting here, and I think she'll defeat Olya tonight. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: And closing off our discussion is the Two Out of Three Falls Match between Sean Black and The Notch. Zack Fields: Two industry veterans going head to head for potentially the final time, Sean Black of course was not pleased when he had to compete on The Alternative while The Notch returns and is right on main AXW television. John Hendon: The Notch has had Black's number, and perhaps will have it once again tonight. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: I'm with you, I believe Notch will once again leave victorious. Zack Fields: Tonight is gonna be Sean Black's night, as he finally gets a win over The Notch. John Hendon: And that wraps up this Horizon edition of Before the Bell, if you're watching on AXW.com make sure to head over to BWF Network to catch Horizon for free, and if you're already on BWF Network, sit tight, Horizon will be coming at you shortly. Goodnight from us!

Saturday, May 13, 2017 Madison Square Garden New York City, New York Horizon IIAfter the opening intro package highlighting the events of tonight, "My House" by Pvris continues playing throughout the arena. Pyrotechnics blast from the stage, Alternatron, ramp, and ring posts. Cameras then pan across the crowd, showing off all the signs and merch in attendance. Mike Vincent: Ladies and gentlemen, Rise is on the Horizon, but before then, we welcome you live from the World's Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden! I'm Mike Vincent joined by Cole Haywood and Chris Pierce. Cole Haywood: Tonight's Main Event will see a high stakes match as AXW Women's Champion Janet Hurricane defends her title against Zoey Mathews-Mitchell, and if the latter loses, she will retire. Chris Pierce: That will be towards the end of the broadcast, we're going to kick things off with some Two out of Three Falls action. Sean steps forward on the stage wearing his black signature T-Shirt and holding a black flag. On the black flag, written with white letters is "The Anarchist" and Sean's face drawn beside it. Salvatore Pellegrino: This opening contest is scheduled for Two out of Three Falls, introducing first, wrestling out of California, weighing 218 pounds, "The Anarchist" SEAN BLACK! He walks to the ring and climbs on the turnbuckle. Sean puts the flag on the turnbuckle, raises his arms above his head and then gets down from the turnbuckle and into the ring, hyped for his match. As the opening of "300 Violin Orchestra" by Jorge Quintero hits, a somber orange hue develops the top of the ramp, almost like a nice sunset. Two small cannons rise up on either side of the ramp and they fire off a round of exploding white pyros with a BOOM. The song picks up as the crowd already begins clapping and stomping their feet to the emerging Notch who bobs his head to the music with a grin. He makes his way to the ring, slapping hands with the fans as he goes. He stops half way down the ramp and rubs a pair of dice together. With a carefree toss they are flung forward as an orange pyro blast explodes. The Notch, with a focused look on his face, makes his way to the ring. Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponent, wrestling out of West Scranton, Pennsylvania, weighing 222 pounds, "Vitamin N" THE NOTCH! He scales a turnbuckle and looks out onto the crowd as they give him some serious hero worship. The Notch flings his visor into the crowd and leaps down, taking off his matching button down shirt, looking primed and ready as his music fades out. TALE OF THE TAPE |

Black puts a hand up for a test of strength. Cautiously, The Notch raises his own and they latch hands, but The Notch is ready for Black’s cheap shot, and catches his kick with his other arm, promptly transitioning into a dragon screw takedown, then some mounted punches! Black makes it back to his feet and The Notch promptly takes him right back down with a snapmare and a kick to the back, then he performs a standing moonsault and pin attempt, but the ref barely makes a two count. The Notch pulls Black back up to his feet, but on the way up, Black reaches in and pokes The Notch in the eye! The ref immediately steps in, but it gives Black an opening and he takes it. Quickly, he takes control of the match with a leg lariat, Muay Thai combo, and a few Mongolian chops. He gets behind The Notch for a German suplex and pin attempt, but The Notch manages a kick out. From there, Black is able to hit a spinebuster and a shining wizard before another pin attempt and another kick out! The Notch slowly makes his way to his feet and Black grabs ahold of him, but The Notch slips his grasp and promptly schoolboys him for a pin attempt! One… two… thr… No! Black is just able to kick out of the attempt! The two race to their feet off the kick out and after The Notch flails from a missed clothesline attempt, Black drops him with the Deathwish (Dirty Deeds) and a successful pin attempt!
Salvatore Pellegrino: The winner of the first fall, SEAN BLACK!
The match resumes with The Notch, heated from having gone down 1-0, charging Black, but a simple drop toe hold from Black sends him crashing into the middle turnbuckle! Black delivers a punishing series of forearms to The Notch’s back before backing off and throwing the arms up while staring out at the crowd. The Notch uses the corner to pull himself up, holding his back, and stumbles towards Black, which baits Black into trying the spear, only for The Notch to sidestep it and crash into the ring post! The Notch pulls him out of the corner and sends him sprawling to the mat, then hops onto the ropes in the corner and attempts a second rope elbow drop, connecting! The pin comes in, but Black is able to get a shoulder up just in time! The Notch brings Black to his feet and delivers The N Factor (Standing suplex into X-Factor facebuster) with another pin attempt, this time getting the three count to tie it up!
Salvatore Pellegrino: The winner of the second fall, THE NOTCH!
The two circle each other cautiously, knowing any mistake could cost them the match. They lock up and Black backs into a corner, forcing the referee to break the two up, and when The Notch drops his guard, Black delivers a right hand over the top of the ref! Despite the ref attempting to stop any further onslaught, Black continues, delivering several more fists to the face before hitting a sitout suplex slam and attempting the pin, but it’s not enough! Black whips The Notch into the corner and follows with a clothesline, then he delivers a belly to black suplex! Relentless, Black gets right back to the assault, hammering away at The Notch’s back with his forearms again! The Notch is able to get to the ropes, forcing the ref to break, but not before Black is able to deliver a few extra shots. The ref scolds Black, giving The Notch a moment to catch his breath and he starts back to his feet using the ropes. Black charges at him, and The Notch drops the top rope, sending Black tumbling over the top and to the outside! The Notch hastily makes his way back to his feet, runs the ropes, and goes flying for a corkscrew plancha, connecting with it and getting right back to his feet, fired up and ready to finish this thing!
He sends Black back into the ring and begins The West Sider, dropping Black with a Scotty 2 Hotty style bulldog, then doing the worm, and finishing the maneuver with a leg drop! A pin attempt comes in: One… two… NO! Black is too close to the ropes and gets his foot on the bottom rope just in time! The Notch grabs at his hair, realizing he left Black too close to the ropes. He drags Black towards the middle of the ring, but doesn’t try another pin. Instead, he heads to a corner and ascends to the top rope. The Notch prepares to take off and Black hasn’t moved a muscle, but he was playing possum! As soon as The Notch goes for the flying elbow, Black rolls out of the way! The Notch crashes and burns, and when he tries to push back up to his feet, Black charges in, plants a boot in his back, and drops him right back down with the Curb Stomp! He pulls him back to his feet and delivers the second Deathwish of the match, and then the pin comes in: one, two, three!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, SEAN BLACK!
Mike Vincent: Sean Black has finally got his comeuppance over The Notch tonight.
Cole Haywood: Of course he did. It's the long game that matters most, and Sean Black is the master of it.
Chris Pierce: Should be interesting to see where both men go going forward.
With "This Fire" playing throughout the arena a second time, Sean Black is seated on the mat, a smile across his face. Sean stands up, has his arm raised by Shane Gates, before exiting the ring, happy about his accomplishment. ----- Backstage, Bobo Sweetcakes is carefully applying frosting on a cake. Suddenly, Brad Adams approaches him. Brad Adams: Hey, Bobo! This startles Bobo, who ends up messing up. Bobo Sweetcakes: Dang it, look what you did! I was commissioned to make this cake for a very important event and now you've gone and messed the whole thing up! Brad Adams: I.. I didn't mean to. I know we haven't been seeing eye to eye and I was just trying to see if you needed any help. Bobo Sweetcakes: Well, you can help me. You get to make an entire new cake from scratch since you destroyed this one. Brad Adams: I didn't destroy it, you just messed up the frosting a little. I'm sure its not that hard of a fix. Bobo Sweetcakes: It's an incredibly hard fix! It's much easier, albeit incredibly annoying, to start all over. A good cake gone to waste, all thanks to Gluten-Free-Fetish-Man. Brad Adams: Is it really that hard? Bobo Sweetcakes: YES! THIS CAKE IS USELESS NOW! Bobo out of frustration tosses the cake up, the cake hitting Brad in the face. Brad Adams: [sigh] I don't suppose this is gluten-free... Bobo Sweetcakes: Sure ain't. Loaded with gluten. Brad Adams: ...I'll go get my EpiPen... Bobo Sweetcakes: You better hurry your buns back here and get started on this new cake! Brad walks away to retrieve his EpiPen. Bobo Sweetcakes: Thank god I started preparing decoy cakes. Bobo steps a few feet away, where there is an identical cake, which he begins to frost. Bobo Sweetcakes: Plus I'm getting that sucker to do some free labor... The scene fades back to ringside. ----- "How Sweet to be an Idiot" by Neil Innes as Cloud comes out of the curtains with one hand on his pocket and the other hand holding a lighter. He flicks the lighter and stares at the flame as if he was in a trance and then he points up at the sky, saying, "Rest in Peace Sensei." Cloud puts the lighter back in his pocket and makes his way to the ring. He slaps hands with almost every fans and then later regrets leaving few fans hanging before entering the ring. Cloud then goes to the nearest corner and sits down like Raven, patiently waiting for the match to start "Rocketman" starts with all of the lights out with some smoke and one spotlight "She packed my bags last night pre flight Zero hour nine a.m. And I'm gonna be high, as a kite by then I miss the earth so much, I miss my wife It's lonely out in space On such a timeless flight And I think it's gonna be a long long time Till touch down brings me round again to find I'm not the man they think I am at home Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone" Then a hooded figure shows up and waits at the spotlight. "And I think it's gonna be a long long time Till touch down brings me round again to find I'm not the man they think I am at home Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone" Ben raises his arms simultaneously taking off his cape and walks to the ring. "Now, I think it's gonna be a long long time And I think it's gonna be a long long time And I think it's gonna be a long long time And I think it's gonna be a long long time" Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall, and is for the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship! Cloud then goes for the Cloud 9 (Diving Moonsault to Standing opponent) but Eatr gets out of the way! Cloud falls hard on the canvas. Eatr stands at one of the corners. Mike Vincent: Incredible bout between Light Heavyweights, the Rocket Man remains on top.
Chris Pierce: Not without having to defeat a game Cloud, who nearly won a few times.
Cole Haywood: My expert analogy came to fruition, clouds are no match for rockets.

"Remedy" plays once more as Danny Hall is awarded his Xperience Championship. Danny exits the ring and raises his title up as he makes his way up the ramp. ----- The camera cuts to the locker room of Zoey Mathews-Mitchell. Zoey is dressed in her traditional ring gear of long tights with a matching top, as opposed to the street attire she started wearing last year. She's also wearing an open hoodie with the sleeves pushed up, as she begins to tape tape up her hands and wrists. She sets down the roll of tape and pulls her hair back, putting it in a ponytail. She hops in place for a moment, before stepping towards the lockers, resting her forearms and the crown of her head on it. The cameras fade back to ringside with Zoey appearing to be in deep thought. ----- "Danger! High Voltage" starts as Allyson Hydecker comes jogging out lip syncing to the Electric Six tune while slapping hands Salvatore Pellegrino: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, wrestling out of Appleton, Wisconsin, weighing 156 pounds, "The Punk Rock Rebel" ALLYSON HYDECKER! then she gets to the ring and slides in, gets on one knee, and throws her arms up After seven seconds from the beginning of the song, pyro blasts from the stage and Viola steps forward on the stage. She blows kisses to the crowd. She then makes her way to the ring while slapping the fans' hands, hugging some of the kids on the way. Salvatore Pellegrino: Her opponent, wrestling out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing 102 pounds, VIOLA HILLS! Viola slides into the ring and poses for the crowd, who cheer for her. She then turns to the stage, hyped for her match. TALE OF THE TAPE |

The two appear to lock up, but the smaller Hills is smarter than that and ends up kicking Hydecker a couple of times in the ribs. Hydecker catches a kick, and Hills nails her with an Enzuigiri. Hills continues to use her feet as she strikes Hydecker with a Roundhouse Kick. With Hydecker momentarily stunned, Hills climbs to the second rope before leaping off, taking Hydecker to the mat with a Neckbreaker. Hills goes for a cover, earning nearly a two count. Hydecker gets to her feet near the ropes. Hills approaches her and Hydecker backdrops her over the top rope. Hills stays on the apron. Hydecker runs at her and Hills pulls the rope down, Hydecker spilling out to the floor. Hills enters the ring, sprints towards the opposite ropes, before leaping out onto Hydecker with a Suicide Dive! Except Hydecker catches her and in one fluid motion slams her on the floor with a Spinning Side Slam. Hydecker rolls Hills into the ring and plants her with a Jumping Cutter, hooking both legs for two. Hills gets back to her feet and Hydecker twirls around to nearly decapitate Hills with a Discus Big Boot. Hydecker awaits Hills tor each a vertical base before bouncing off the ropes and striking her with a Record Smash (Running Single Leg Dropkick). Hills ends up crawling to a corner, where she is met with a Basement Dropkick. Hydecker lifts Hills out of the corner and slams her with a Suplex, floating into the cover for a two count.
Hydecker leaps straight up for a Fire Starter (Standing Double Foot Stomp), but Hills gets out of the way. Hydecker ends up stumbling backwards and trips over the body of Hills. Hills runs to the ropes and drills Hydecker with The Bombshell (Flying forearm smash). Hills follows up with a Standing Somersault Senton for a quick two count. The both get up, Hydecker running towards Hills. Hills hits a dropkick to the knee of Hydecker, Hydecker falling forwards into the middle turnbuckle. Hills lifts Hydecker up for a Slingshot Atomic drop. Hills jumps up and brings Hydecker to the mat with a Hurricanrana. Hills ascends to the top turnbuckle, where she comes off with a spectacular 450 splash. Hills hooks the leg and Hydecker kicks out just before three. Hills looks to end the match as she grabs the arms of Hydecker, and starts to twist her around for a SparkleSlam (Straight Jacket Neckbreaker Slam), but Hydecker breaks free and executes a 93 Comeback Tour (Two Clotheslines followed by a Running Neckbreaker). Hydecker leaps up and this time connects with a Fire Starter (Standing Double Foot Stomp), for a very close two count. Hydecker brings Hills to the corner and sets her on the top rope. Hydecker attempts to climb up with her, but Hills prevents her from doing so by delivering a number of punches. Hills comes off the top rope, driving Hydecker to the mat with Run for the Hills (Natural Selection from the top rope)! Hills hooks the inside leg.

The tune for Ghetto King starts up as The first words are spoken from behind the curtain walks out Mr Gives No Fucks, Quentin Rage. His eyes always looking around him as he walks to the ring bad mouthing people and threatening to smack any fans that try to touch him. Rage waits on the ramp as his music stops and Riot by Bullet For My Valentine kicks in. Chopper walks out with a serious look on his face. He heads down to meet Rage, carrying his trademark metal chain with him. Chopper threatens to hit a fan with the chain as they make their way to the ring. The pair get into the ring and climb the ring posts and then flip the bird to the fans as the boos get louder. S.O.B ignore the boos from the fans and get ready for the match to start. "Hear Me Now" plays throughout the arena and Malcolm M. Mitchell makes his way to the stage. He takes a moment to taunt, throwing shadow punches, then runs his hands through his hair and flicks the water off his hands, keeping his arms spread with his head up, soaking in the reaction from the crowd. He walks down to the ring with confidence in every step. Malcolm enters the ring, climbs to the second turnbuckle, and does the same taunt he did on the stage. The arena lights descend to darkness, as the tron displays an old black and white vision of an apocalyptic scene, as within a broken building we hear the crackle and zap of electricity, pulses of computers, as there, standing before the rubble is a figure in a denim jacket and tattered denim jeans. The figure turns slowly, and forms a smirk from under a pair of black Aviator shades. "Not even God can save you.." The crowd roars to "Not Even God" by Digital Summer, as some are booing, some cheering, an ice blue hue filling the ramp and entrance, a thin mist that under a spotlight has an eerie glow for one Duncan Aries! Aries has his back to us, looking down, before spinning around, arms crossed and head cocked in a smirk. Aries strides to the ring, paying no mind before tossing his shades into the crowd and leaping onto the apron. Entering the ring, Aries spins around, basking in the glow of the reaction, positive or negative, tossing off his jacket, yelling out "Because I'm Duncan Aries, motherfuckers!" as "Not Even God" fades out. Salvatore Pellegrino: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the AXW Tag Team Championship! Introducing first, the challengers, at a combined weight of 525 pounds, the team of Quentin Rage and Chopper, S.O.B.! The two Sons of Bitches await for the match to begin. Salvatore Pellegrino: Their opponents, at a combined weight of 452 pounds, they are the defending AXW Tag Team Champions, MALCOLM M. MITCHELL and AXW Hall of Famer, "The Wild Card" DUNCAN ARIES! Malcolm is seated on the top turnbuckle while Aries hoists his title high. TALE OF THE TAPE |

Mitchell and Chopper start the match with a lockup. Chopper drives a knee to his gut, then plants him with a snap suplex and follows with a couple of clothesline takedowns. He bounces off the ropes for a running senton but Mitchell evades the move and catches Chopper with a dropkick when he gets to his feet. Chopper gets back to his feet and Mitchell tries a clothesline, but Chopper ducks it and instead lifts Mitchell up for a samoan drop. Then, he whips Mitchell into the corner and follows with a strong clothesline before making the tag to Rage, who immediately lifts Mitchell up for a stalling suplex, then goes for a pin, but barely gets a two count. From there, Rage pulls Mitchell to his feet for a body slam and connects with that, followed by another pin, only for another kickout! He drags Mitchell over to Chopper and makes the tag. Chopper corners Mitchell and stomps away at him, ignoring the ref’s count, then tags Rage back in to stop the count. They do this several times before ultimately it’s Chopper tagging Rage in. He sets Mitchell up in a Russian Leg Sweep while Chopper takes off, but Aries, knowing what’s coming, intercepts Rage with a European uppercut, catching him completely offguard and sending him sprawling out of the ring! Chopper doesn’t realize what’s happened and Aries cuts him down from behind the knee before the ref forces Aries out of the ring. Mitchell and Chopper are grounded in the middle of the ring, and the ref promptly gets Chopper out, as Rage is the legal man. Rage shakes off the cobwebs outside the ring, but it’s too late – Mitchell makes the tag, and Aries comes flying through the middle ropes for a suicide dive onto Rage! He sends Rage back into the ring and starts some kicks to Rage’s sternum, following that up with a buzzsaw kick to the side of the head and a pin attempt, but Chopper breaks it up. Chopper starts to hammer away at Aries and the ref forces him off of him, issuing a strong warning in the process, but Chopper doesn’t care. He grabs the ref by the shirt and throws him out of the ring through the ropes and continues the assault! Stomps and kicks, fists and forearms, and a couple of suplexes are given to Aries as the ref calls for the bell. Mitchell tries to save Aries, but Rage had reached his feet by then and shoulder blocks him. Then, S.O.B. tag team Aries with the Fuck You Up (Chopper Russian Leg Sweep, Chopper flying forearm) before they stand tall over the tag champs, as if they’ve won the match. Mike Vincent: S.O.B. have been disqualified, and I don't even think they care that much. Cole Haywood: I think S.O.B. care more about hurting people, and in this case, job well done. Chris Pierce: And in the mean time, Malcolm M. Mitchell and Duncan Aries get to hold on to their AXW Tag Team Championships. Salvatore Pellegrino: The winners of this match by disqualification, and still the AXW Tag Team Champions, Malcolm M. Mitchell and Duncan Aries! S.O.B. exit the ring, satisfied with their destruction. ----- Backstage, we see the AXW Women's Championship set on a loading crate. The camera pans over to see Janet Hurricane, in full ring gear with earbuds in. She cracks her neck and starts to loosen up, doing various stretches. She throws shadow punches for a few moments, before picking up her title and walking away. ----- The lights in the arena all turn to red, with the fans in anticipation for whats about to come. After a few seconds of this, "Megitsune" by BABYMETAL takes over the sound system. As soon as the song plays, the red lights pulse to the beat of the drums with a figure standing in smoke, wearing a robe and a kitsune mask. At the seven second mark of the song, the figure begins to slowly make their way down the ramp. At the fourteen second mark of the song, the figure disrobes and removes their kitsune mask, now walking to the ring at a quicker pace. Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, wrestling out of Hiroshima, Japan, weighing 112 pounds, "Megitsune" KATSUKO NAKAMOTO! Katsuko makes her way up the steps and hops onto the middle turnbuckle, raising both hands into the air, doing the kitsune hand sign. She steps onto the top rope and front flips into the ring. She walks to her corner and throws strikes at the turnbuckles before her music fades out. “Like A Prayer” by Madonna plays through the speakers providing a peppy ambiance. The entire arena goes dark momentarily as “Sister Inferior” Olya Latanya Oglovska enters from the ramp with a pair of opera binoculars in her right hand. Three spotlights highlight various audience members who have striking physical attributes. As Olya walks down to the ramp she fans herself with a bidder paddle. Jen Brunelli: Her opponent, wrestling out of Saratov, Russia, weighing 115 pounds, "Sister Inferior" OLYA OGLOVSKA! Upon reaching the arena floor and within clear eye line of her opponent, all three spotlights converge. Oglovska raises her bidder paddle to indicate she plans on procuring another priceless artifact for her exhibit. TALE OF THE TAPE |

Olya comes out of the gate attacking Nakamoto. Oglovska hits her with a flurry of punches and forearms, before executing some Knife-Edge Chops that back Nakamoto to the corner. Oglovska irish whips Nakamoto to the opposing corner and stays right behind her, nailing her with a clothesline. Oglovska pulls Nakamoto out of the corner and slams her down with a Sombo Suplex. Oglovska covers and only gets one. Oglovska takes Nakamoto back to the mat with a Snapmare, followed by the Rolling Neck Snap. Oglovska locks Nakamoto in a Figure-Four Headlock, but Nakamoto ultimately finds a way out of it. The two get to their feet, with Nakamoto reversing an irish whip, sending Oglovska to the ropes. Oglovska rebounds and takes Nakamoto down with a Whirlybird Headscissors Takedown, which ends up sending Nakamoto out of the ring. Oglovska goes to retrieve Nakamoto, who catches Oglovska with a Spinning Back Fist. Nakamoto gets Oglovska back into the ring and doubles her over with a Spinning Back Kick, before throwing her overhead with a Butterfly Suplex, a quick one count. Oglovska tries to get to her feet, but is only able to get as far as a kneeling position as Nakamoto continuously delivers Knee Strikes. Oglovska finally ducks one and rolls Nakamoto up in a Schoolgirl Pin, but Nakamoto kicks out. The two get to a vertical base and Nakamoto stuns Oglovska with a Roundhouse Kick. Nakamoto drills Oglovska to the canvas with a Brainbuster. Nakamoto sprints full speed off the ropes several times, until Oglovska reaches a seated position, and Nakamoto strikes her with a Megitsune Kick (Bakatare Sliding Kick). Nakamoto climbs to the top rope, and assaults Oglovska with a Hātosutoppā (Kairi Hojo-style Diving Elbow Drop), hooking a leg for a close two count.
Nakamoto delivers some elbow strikes before running back off the ropes, and suddenly being lifted up for an Airplane Spin. Oglovska slams Nakamoto down with a Rolling Fireman's Carry Slam. Oglovska tries a quick cover and Nakamoto kicks out, Oglovska goes right into a grounded Front Facelock. Nakamoto tries getting to her feet, and does, only for Oglovska to deliver some knees to the chest of Nakamoto, and lifting her up for a Fisherwoman's Suplex, bridging for a two count. Oglovska traps Nakamoto in a Standing Bear Hug, but Nakamoto elbows herself free. Nakamoto delivers a Hurricanrana, and is now starting to feel something. She stalks Oglovska as she gets to her feet, and leans forward to spit mist into the face of Oglovska, Oglovska braces for it, and... it was just water. Nakamoto takes control off her mind game and throws Oglovska overhead with a Dragon Suplex. Oglovska lands near a corner and uses it to help herself up, only to get struck by a Crescent Moon (Running Curved Corner Yakuza Kick). Nakamoto immediately sets Oglovska on the top rope, as she begins the Ue Kara Shi, slamming Oglovska down with a Superplex, then lifting her right back up for a Falcon Arrow, but upon being lifted the second time, Oglovska counters with a tornado DDT. Oglovska wastes no time as she swiftly locks Nakamoto in The Unorthodox [Crucifix Choke]. Nakamoto tries to fight it, but can't. Nakamoto refuses to tap, and after a few moments becomes lifeless. Jessie McCormick steps in and raises Nakamoto's arm... no response. Once more... no response. One final time...
...no response.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner by submission, OLYA OGLOVSKA!
Mike Vincent: Olya Oglovska ends the hot streak of Katsuko Nakamoto... Katsuko might need some medical attention after that vicious hold.
Cole Haywood: Olya Oglovska is one of the best women athletes on this roster, Katsuko never stood a chance in a fair one on one fight.
Chris Pierce: Katsuko's career is still young, she'll have plenty of time to bounce back. Olya on the other hand, might be looking to get back into the championship picture.
"Like a Prayer" replays as McCormick raises the arm of Oglovska. McCormick goes to check on the unresponsive Nakamoto. Oglovska kneels down next to Nakamoto, places her hands together and rests her head on them. She is heard saying "Who is sleepink now, dahlink?" Oglovska exits the ring and makes her way to the back. Who will forever become immortalized? The AXW Hall of Fame Class of 2017 will be inducted the week following Rise.

"Second Sucks" by A Day to Remember plays and out walks Toa with the towel, drenched in blood, wrapped around his neck. He is staring down on the ground and listening to the boos and cheers coming from the fans. "FIGHT" Once he hears the opening line, he starts walking down the ramp, still not showing his face. When he walks up the steel steps and enters the ring, he throws the towel on the ground and does a battle cry. The lights go out as there a red spotlight shining on the entrance. There is a sound of a bell ringing 3 times as we hear Damien Steele speak. Damien Steele: The Vicious Era Is Now! Then "Miseria Cantare" by AFI cuts straight to the lyrics. As Damien is seen in the red spotlight with his hair hanging in his face. The AXW Championship secured around his waist. LOVE... YOUR HATE... Damien flips his hair back as he smiles and holds his arms out to the crowd as he soaks in the boos from the fan but quickly he goes back to his cold calculating stare down to the ring focusing on his opponent. YOUR...FAITH LOST... Damien Steele makes no connection to any fans that might be throwing insults his way, almost as if he is only focused on the ring, and more specifically his opponent. YOU... ARE NOW... The crowd boos loudly and some fans try to reach out to Damien but he does nothing to acknowledge the fans. Steele reaches the ring as he walks around to the steps. And stops at the bottom steps. ONE... OF US... A wicked smile comes across his face as the words of the song repeat again just a little bit faster this time. LOVE... YOUR HATE... YOUR... FAITH LOST... YOU... ARE NOW... ONE... OF US... Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent as the words are said he takes another step slamming his boot down with each phase on a new step, till he reaches the the ring apron and wipes his feet before entering the ring and going to a corner as he removes the AXW Championship and climbs to the middle turnbuckle and hold the title in the air and shouts to the crowd. Damien Steele: This is MY Title and NO one will take it from me! Damien climbs back down and stares down his opponent as he hands the championship to the referee and lets the referee check him. Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall, and is for the AXW Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, wrestling out of the Isle of Samoa, weighing 280 pounds, "Samoan Executioner" TO'A! TO'A has a mean look in his eyes as he stares down his opponent. Jen Brunelli: His opponent, wrestling out of Chicago, Illinois, weighing 224 pounds, he is the defending AXW Champion, "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE! Damien climbs the second rope and raises his title high, beating his chest. TALE OF THE TAPE |

The two appear as if they're going to lock up, but Steele gets behind TO'A and tries to lift him to no avail. TO'A then gets behind Steele and lifts him for a German Suplex. TO'A takes Steele down with a couple of clotheslines, before lifting him up for an Inverted atomic drop, followed by a running single leg dropkick and finished with a running senton. After a pin attempt, TO'A stays on the attack, lifting the champ up for a Samoan Drop. TO'A could cover but opts to inflict more damage, slamming Steele hard with a Gordbuster. TO'A heads to the apron, and makes his way up the turnbuckles, a sight you don't often see. TO'A leaps off and crushes Steele with a Diving Splash, a two count. Steele rolls out of the ring to get some separation, which is thwarted as TO'A bolts out of the ring with an Elbow Suicida (Suicide dive transitioned into a flying forearm smash). TO'A picks Steele off the floor and lifts him for a suplex, and drops him onto the apron. Steele winces in pain as he rolls into the ring. Steele grabs on the ropes to get up, meanwhile TO'A has slid into the ring and barrels in with a Forearm smash to the cornered Steele, and follows right up with an Executioner (Jumping twisting enzuigiri while facing away from a cornered opponent). Steele crumbles to a seated position, allowing TO'A to execute a Samoan Wrecking Ball (Running hip attack to the head of an opponent seated in the corner with theatrics). TO'A lifts what seems like a lifeless carcass off the mat and sets him on the top rope, before running across the ring and planting him with a Muscle Buster. TO'A hooks the outside leg for only two. TO'A slowly brings Steele to his feet. Steele suddenly nails TO'A with a Swinging Enzuigiri. TO'A stumbles backwards, bounces off the ropes and now stumbles forward, Steele showing off incredible strength by hoisting TO'A onto his shoulders and spinning him out for an F-5! Steele starts to get fired up, slamming the mat a couple times before hammering away at TO'A, to the point where Gus Ramos has to pull him away. Steele goes back in and now stomps away on TO'A, again with Ramos having to pull him off. While waiting for TO'A to get up, Steele goes to the apron, before re-entering with a Springboard Knee Strike. TO'A is loopy, but does not fall down, with Steele running towards the opposite ropes, now delivering a Springboard Stunner that drops TO'A. Steele wastes no motion as he runs to another set of ropes, flying through the air with a Springboard Moonsault, and pops right back to his feet to deliver a Standing Shooting Star Press, now hooking one of TO'A's massive legs for a two count, causing Steele to bark at Ramos. Steele picks the big man up, only to bring him back down with an Asai DDT. TO'A sits up from the impact, allowing Steele to clock him with an Avada Kedavra. Steele covers and again gets two, becoming more frustrated at Ramos. Steele again lifts TO'A to his feet, TO'A creates separation and swings his arm, Steele ducks the line and catches TO'A with a Pele Kick. TO'A stagges back before falling to the mat and rolling out of the ring. Steele runs the ropes before leaping onto TO'A with a No Hands Space Flying Tigersault. At the count of about four, TO'A is coming to, and Steele sees an opportunity, executing a Loony Stomp (Curb Stomp) on the floor! Steele rolls into the ring, and rests on the top rope, sure of his count out victory. Five! Six! Seven! Eight! Nine! Ten! Eleven! Twelve! Thirteen! Fourteen! Fifteen! Sixteen! Seventeen! Eighteen! Nineteen! TO'A just barely breaks the count. Steele runs at TO'A and is told to "Sit the fuck down," as TO'A drops him with a Warrior Slam (One-armed side slam, as a counter to an oncoming opponent). TO'A follows up with a Samoan Elbow (Feint leg drop transitioned into an elbow drop to the opponent's chest), a pin attempt following that gets two. When Steele gets to a vertical base, TO'A bounces off the ropes and lifts his leg for Sweet Dreams (Running Arched Big boot), but Steele ninja rolls underneath it, Steele now running the ropes and hits a low dropkick to the leg of TO'A, causing him to fall to his knees. Steele runs the ropes once more and leaps into the air for another Loony Stomp, only this time for TO'A to catch him in a powerbomb position, and slam him down with the powerbomb. Steele rolls out of the ring to prevent Steele from doing any further damage. TO'A follows Steele out of the ring, and gets clocked by the AXW Championship! Jen Brunelli: The winner of this match by disqualification, TO'A! ...however still the AXW Champion, Damien Steele! Mike Vincent: Damien Steele takes the low road as he gets himself intentionally disqualified! Cole Haywood: It's not low, it's smart. Damien knows that being a champion means he can't lose it by disqualification or count out. It's TO'A's fault for not letting Steele Loony Stomp him again. Chris Pierce: Well one thing is for sure, TO'A is going to be pissed. Steele rests his title over his shoulder and raises his opposite arm into the air, keeping it up all the way up the ramp and through the curtain. TO'A comes to, and is furious, pushing Ramos away from him and ripping the hood off the announcer's table before we fade backstage. ----- Backstage, Renee Peltier is standing by with Chaz Anix, Rochelle, and Chester Andrews. Renee Peltier: Renee Peltier here, and as you can see I'm joined by Chaz Anix, Chester Andrews, and Rochelle. Rochelle, can you explain why you've been interjecting yourself into Chaz's matches? Rochelle goes to speak, but someone else's voice is heard. "Because the old man isn't enough to help him win anymore." The person responsible for the voice enters the frame. Justin Wyndham: It seems that Chaz here needs an army to help himself win matches. I on the other hand, well, I guess I'd be more like a one-man army. Rochelle: Excuse me, who are you? Justin Wyndham: Oh, sorry, where are my manners? I know you're new here, so allow me to introduce myself. My name is Justin Wyndham, maybe you've heard of me. Former two-time AXW Champion, 2014 AXW Superstar of the Year, participated in the 2015 AXW Match of the Year. Any of that ring a bell? Rochelle: Yawn, what have you done recently? Justin Wyndham: AXW Tag Team Champion. Chaz Anix: He got you there. Rochelle: Shut up, Chaz! You think you're so special? Then in two weeks why don't you step in the ring with the Face of AXW, Chaz Anix. Justin Wyndham: I did beat a Mr. AXW once, so this shouldn't be a problem. See you then. Justin walks away, with cameras cutting to Sal in the ring. ----- Salvatore Pellegrino: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Main Event scheduled for one fall, and is for the AXW Women's Championship! Should Zoey Mathews-Mitchell lose, she must retire. "Nothing Left to Lose" hits as Zoey Mathews-Mitchell emerges from behind the curtain. She stands on the stage, back facing the ring, her arms outspread with hands open. She turns around, now facing the ring, and quickly throws her arms into the air, her hands in a fist, except for her pointer fingers which are extended, as pyro blasts on the stage. She lowers her arms and begins walking down the ramp. She high fives some of the fans at ringside, before climbing onto the apron. She scans the crowd, and raises one arm into the air, before jumping over the top rope. She climbs onto a turnbuckle and throws her arms out to her sides, before raising them into the air, similar to what she did on the stage. “S-P-I-R-I-T Spirit!! Let’s hear it!! S-P-I-R-I-T Spirit!! Let’s hear it!!” Blue strobe lights roams around the arena like a trance as the opening tune of "Happy Song” by Bring Me The Horizon blares out of the PA system. “LET’S GO!” Out comes Janet Hurricane, her hoodie veil blinding her face. As the tempo gets faster and faster, we see her jumping up and down, still cannot see her face. Once we hear the lyrics, Janet reveals her face to the crowd and starts shadowing punching and kicking, feeling the energy of her theme song. She then starts walking her way to the ring, bopping her head to the music and in her own zone, not giving a damn about the fans’ reaction. Once she enters the ring, she takes off her hoodie and does a couple of shadow boxing, again feeling the energy of the music before it fades. Salvatore Pellegrino: Introducing first, the challenger defending her career, wrestling out of Riviera Beach, Florida, weighing 134 pounds, ZOEY MATHEWS-MITCHELL! Zoey is squatting down in the corner, looking across the ring to her opponent. Salvatore Pellegrino: Her opponent, wrestling out of Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing 120 pounds, she is the defending AXW Women's Champion, "The Queen of the Ravenous Generation" JANET HURRICANE! Janet raises her title high, before handing it to Senior Official Matt Baker, who raises it up before handing it to a ringside official, and calls for the bell. TALE OF THE TAPE |
