Episode XIII
Immediately following the opening video package, "Personal Jesus" takes over the arena, as The Church make their way down to the ring.
Crest Silver: I should be standing here as the AXW Champion. Magnum Wolf seems to like screwing me out of winning the title, with his distraction at the Supershow, and him winning the triple threat match off of MY move. He layed low at ringside while I did all the work. Now, I'm not going anywhere until I get what I deserve, a one-on-one title shot.
A few moments pass, and "Ultranumb" now plays, as the World Warrior makes his way down to the ring.
Justin Wyndham: You have been nothing but a thorn in my side. Why do you deserve a title shot over me? You don't. You've weaseled your way into title shots since day one, I am the one who deserves a one-on-one shot against Wolf, since you know, I'm the one who actually held the title and is supposed to get a one-on-one rematch. So why don't you two take a step back, maybe weasel your way into an Adrenaline title shot? Or, I think you'd be better off trying to slither into a Women's title shot. Actually, even with your brain-washed martyr by your side to help you cheat, you'd probably still lose, since you can never seem to win the big one, even with help.
Justin and Crest go nose-to-nose, potentially about to throw down, when "Evil Ways" now plays, starting from the first minute as Magnum Wolf now makes his way down to the ring.
Magnum Wolf: I stand in this ring, and I see three people: A man named Crest, which is what I use to brush my teeth, a man named Crash, which sounds like some cheap energy drink, and... what was it that Caitlin Shay called you? Oh yeah, Dustin Windows. In all seriousness, there's one thing that you all have in common: you have all lost to me. I beat all three of you, so you can ALL go challenge for the Women's title for all I care, NONE of you deserve a shot against me!
Tension rises in the ring, and that's when "Still Counting" by Volbeat now hits, as the boss Luke Mathews quickly makes his way down to the ring, standing in the middle of all the men.
Luke Mathews: This is what's going to happen, in tonight's Main Event, Justin Wyndham will face Crest Silver, and the winner will get Magnum Wolf, one-on-one, at the next Supershow, which will be AXW's return to Syracuse. That will take place next month, December Fourth. Magnum Wolf, you can take it easy tonight. You can sit back in your locker room, eat some catering, or you can straight up head home, doesn't really matter to me. Now, if you would all please clear the ring so we can get on with our first match, it'd be appreciated.
Slowly but surely, the ring clears, and we head into the first match.
TAG TEAM MATCH
NON-TITLE
Hand of Blood vs. The Yuganagi Twins
The Yuganagi Twins get literally zero offense in, as this match is just pure domination by Hand of Blood. The Tag Team Champions show why they are the champs, cutting off the ring and making frequent tags. Poor Bruce Yuganagi takes all the big moves, while Chad is forced to watch. From Inferno, he took a one armed swinging neckbreaker (McGillicutter), a wrist clutch exploder suplex, and The Knell. From Jason, he took a spin-out powerbomb, Argentine rack backbreaker, and the signature, "5 Gutwrench Suplexes in a Fucking Row!" When the Bloodhounds of AXW were finished toying with Bruce, they finished him off with Perdition, Inferno covering while Jason makes sure Chad cannot get to his brother.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here are your winners, HAND OF BLOOD!
Post-Match: The Cross City Stallions are watching on a monitor backstage, Marky looking somewhat impressed. Meanwhile in the ring, Inferno has received a microphone.
Inferno: Stallions, it's not a matter of, as you say, "using under-handed tactics," to win because we need to, but rather, it's what we choose to do. At AXW Supershow III, we'll beat you just like we beat the Yuganagis. They call this a "clean" victory, but it won't be so clean for you. We let the Yuganagis off easy, it won't be the same for you. We'll leave you a bloody mess, and we'll do it with our bare hands.
A bloody hand swipes across the screen, before we cut backstage.
-----
The camera fades in and shows Damien Steele pacing back and forth in his locker room. He is breathing heavy and as he runs his hands through his hair. He smashes his fist against the wall as he turns around and sees the camera.
Damien Steele: HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID!? It's okay I won't let that foolishness trick me again. Pyrostar, you are nothing in this business, that's why everywhere you have went in EWS has proven that, push you around and around until you find yourself in AXW. Still curtain-jerking to the REAL UP AND COMING STAR, Damien Steele!
Steele walks closer to the camera as his hair is hanging in his face.
Damien Steele: Don't think I'm done with you yet, you freakin' Rician! I want to make sure you don't think you have any, and I mean ANY chance that I wont be denied MY CHANCE in AXW!
Damien turns and punches a wall as he walks off camera, and the camera fades out. As Damien's voice is heard.
Damien Steele: I won't stop til you admit I AM WRESTLING!
With that, we cut to commerical.
SINGLES MATCH
Jenna Tonic vs. Stella Quinn
The ladies lock up, Stella getting the early control. She hits a tiger suplex, then a running front dropkick, and a jawbreaker. She would get Jenna in the corner, and try to run at her, but Jenna got the boot up. Jenna quickly followed it up with a bulldog, and then gave Stella a good kick to the ribs. Stella gets back up but is taken back down with a snap suplex, Jenna floating over for the cover, getting a two count. Jenna brings Stella to her feet, Stella pushes Jenna away and hits a spinning heel kick, regaining control. Stella quickly hits Picture This, then goes to the top rope, looking for a Senton Bomb, which Jenna rolls out of the way of. Jenna hoists Stella onto her shoulders, perhaps going for Jennacide, and that's when, right on cue, the lights go out.
(Static screen… blue screen…static screen.. blue screen… a split second of a dance recital… muffled [unintelligible]…. The Hollywood sign…. Pitch black, feet running down a street… heavy breathing…. Transistor radio: “Turn and face the….*static* strange…. Ch-ch-changes….
A muffled monotone robotic voice: Nothing so close to pleasure as pain… pay for sins… pay them forward…. Controversy. Abhorrent behavior. The only rules are no rules. Have we made you uncomfortable, shocked your senses before? The past singular indiscretions are nothing next to the combined might of aligned decadence. Greed and Lust and Power and Cruelty… are like the ragged dolls in our toy chest. When all innocence is gone what’s left is the seduction of the tainted. Divine right, rule, and fascination.
Total blackness… hands appear… hands are painted … some red… some white….. they move around in the blackness then come back together… tracing over each other as if writing on an unseen wall to produce a pinkish effect under a blacklight. Three splattered letters are traced out:
KMD
Then, fading in slowly underneath KMD, are the words "IS HERE" - immediate hardcut back to the arena after that.
Jenna and Stella are standing in the ring, while at ringside, are two individuals donned in all black, with of course black masks, and the blacklight paint effects on their outfits. They both go to opposite sides of the ring. Meanwhile, Jenna and Stella pick which one they will go after, and stand back to back in the middle of the ring, begging for them to bring it. The black outfitted individuals climb onto the apron, and the one facing Stella signals for Stella to turn around. Very reluctantly, Stella turns around, only to get decked square in the mouth by Jenna! Jenna holds Stella in place, as the first mystery attacker slingshots into the ring, planting her with a facebuster. The second mystery attacker picks Stella up, and holds her arms, as Jenna and the first mystery attacker start pummeling her. The second mystery attacker then hits a Killswitch, then pulls a spray can from her outfit, spray painting "KMD" onto Stella's back.
Jenna looks at both mystery attackers with a smile. The first attacker slowly removes their mask, revealing them to be... Livvy Doll! Then of course it's time for the second attacker to remove their mask, and it's... the AXW Alum formerly known as Nikita Venus, Envy! Envy receives a microphone, and says only a few words:
"AXW... Kiss Me Deadly is here, and everything you know... is about to change."
"Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" takes over the sound system, as Jenna Tonic, Livvy Doll, and Envy all raise each other's hands in the middle of the ring, over the fallen Stella Quinn.
-----
The scene fades backstage where Caitlin Shay and Sean Foster are talking.
Sean Foster: Good job on your win two weeks ago, you made her tap out like there was no tomorrow!
Caitlin Shay: Thanks. I'm just glad I'm no longer in that craphole New Jersey, not that Vermont is any better. Like, what's there even to do in Vermont? Just sit around until you die? This place is boring.
Sean Foster: Well, in honor of your big win, I got you something.
Sean hands Caitlin a present, which is wrapped in the shape of a perfume bottle.
Caitlin Shay: Gee, I wonder what it could be...
She opens it, and, surprise, it's perfume.
Sean Foster: It's a prototype for Intensity's newest fragrance: Caitlin's Shea Butter!
At this time, Slamsley McBody and Hailey Harris walk up.
Caitlin Shay: What? What do you want? I beat you, this is over. Move along.
Hailey Harris: Well, if you overlook the fact that I made you tap out first, and the fact that you were supposed to win without Sean's help, yeah, you beat me. Good job.
Slamsley McBody: I kept my word. I stayed out of the match. Why not you, Sean? Oh, wait a minute, I get it... (Slamsley makes a whip cracking sound)
Sean Foster: Hey, I am not whipped! I came down because I saw that Caitlin was perspiring, so I was gonna give her some Intensity so she could smell good while she made you tap out!
Hailey Harris: Were you dropped on your head as a kid? That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
Sean Foster: As a matter of fact I was, and I'm very sensitive about it, thank you.
Slamsley McBody: That actually explains a lot...
"Excuse me."
Luke Mathews walks up, and stands in between both parties.
Luke Mathews: I've got an earful of information to tell you all, so listen close. As you all may know, AXW Supershow III is next month. At that event, Slamsley McBody will take on Sean Foster. In that match, Hailey Harris and Caitlin Shay will be banned from ringside. Should they choose to disobey those orders, they will no longer be employees of AXW.
Sean Foster: That's fine. I'll beat--
Luke Mathews: Hold that thought, Sean, there's more. For added measures, there will be no way in, our out of the ring. Surrounding the ring will be a steel cage. However, this won't be your average steel cage. This steel cage will have no doors, and will also be roofed off.
Slamsley McBody: Sounds like a great idea, boss. I'm looking forward to it.
Luke Mathews: Thank you, Slamsley. As for the ladies, you will also be facing off at AXW Supershow III. Here are your stipulations: Sean Foster and Slamsley McBody will be banned from ringside. Should they choose to disobey those orders, they will no longer be employees of AXW.
Caitlin Shay: Fine by me, I don't need--
Luke Mathews: But wait, Caitlin, there's more! You'll both be competing in the steel cage as well!
Hailey Harris: I like it. Thanks, Luke.
Hailey and Slamsley leave the scene.
Caitlin Shay: Whatever. I'm going to Starbucks.
Caitlin and Sean now leave. Luke notices that Caitlin left her Intensity: Caitlin's Shea Butter behind. His curiosity gets the best of him, so he sprays it on his wrist. He takes a whiff, and nearly throws up.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Corbin Mason & Jamie Fuller vs. The Push
Jimmy and Jamie start the match off for their respective teams, and shake each other's hands, before going in for an old fashioned test of strength. Both men nearly the same size, it's a pretty even contest. Jamie goes for a side headlock, which is countered into a back suplex. Jamie gets right back up and hits Jimmy with a dropkick, another dropkick, a third dropkick. Jamie whips Jimmy into his teams corner and tags in Corbin. The duo would take down Jimmy with a double suplex. Corbin would try a cover but Jimmy would kick out. Jimmy Reynolds now takes control of the match, taking Corbin down with several clotheslines and a ddt. Reynolds tags in McDermott. McDermott executes an arm wrench, before clotheslining Corbin to the mat. McDermott locks in a chin lock, which Corbin manages to fight out of. Corbin looks to regain control by going off the ropes, but McDermott catches him on the rebound with an arm drag. From here, there are several quick tags between the Push, wearing down Mason. Reynolds would look to finish Mason with the Boom Box, but Mason was able to duck under it. Mason would hit Reynolds with a superkick, before tagging in Fuller. Fuller came in guns blazing, hitting Reynolds with a kick flurry, that ended in a gamengiri. Fuller would lift Reynolds up and powerbomb him into a neutral corner, before actually connecting with the Small Package Driver! The crowd counting in unison with the referee, but at the very last moment McDermott is able to break it up. Mason rushes into the ring, only to be back body dropped over the top rope by McDermott. The legal man Reynolds is able to hit the Boom Box on Fuller, the crowd counting in unison as the Push get the three count.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here are your winners, THE PUSH!
Post-Match: The two teams shake hands, and all raise each other's arms in the air, as we fade into commercial.
We return back from commercial to the laughter of Sierra Starr. "Strike Back" plays, Sierra making her way down to the ring.
Sierra Starr: My emotions have gotten the best of me the past few weeks. I've just been really thrown off since the last Supershow, I wasn't prepared for a Fatal Four Way, I was expecting a Triple Threat. I guess, in the end, Janet really does deserve it. Janet, if you would please come out here, I'd like to formally apologize, woman to woman.
A few seconds pass, and "Generation Lost" plays, signalling the arrival of the AXW Women's Champion. Janet Hurricane makes her way down to the ring.
Janet Hurricane: Here I am.
Sierra Starr: Janet, I'm sorry...
Janet Hurricane: Well, thank you. I'll let what happened in the past stay in the past, and--
Sierra Starr: I wasn't finished. Janet, I'm sorry... I'm sorry that you're a slut who sleeps with her boss to get a title match.
Janet's mouth drops, as does everyone else's mouth in the arena.
Janet Hurricane: What?!
Sierra Starr: I was just spewing garbage so I could get you out here and see your priceless reaction first-hand. You got into that title match at the Supershow because you're sleeping with Luke Mathews.
Janet Hurricane: No I'm not!
Sierra Starr: Really? Because I've stumbled across some security footage that says otherwise. This is footage from two weeks ago in New Jersey. Roll the tape!
The jumbotron airs the aforementioned footage. The scene is a parking lot. A Chevy Suburban pulls into a spot. Two people step outside the vehicle. From the driver's side, we identify Luke Mathews, and from the passenger's side, we identify Janet Hurricane. They walk to the back of the vehicle, removing their respective bags from the cargo area. Luke closes the back of the SUV and the two walk off frame.
Janet Hurricane: He drove me to the show, that doesn't mean I'm having sex with him.
Sierra Starr: I think you're lying. I wanna hear Luke Mathews' perspective on this story.
Several seconds pass, before "Still Counting" by Volbeat plays throughout the arena for the second time tonight. Luke Mathews makes his way into the ring.
Sierra Starr: Luke, I have a few questions to ask you. First off, why do you smell like a rotting skunk?
Luke Mathews: I sprayed some Intensity-- look, it doesn't matter. What does matter, is that you are not authorized to look at security footage. Secondly, I am your boss here. When you show up to an AXW show, you are working for me. Therefore, you will treat me with respect and not try to snoop through my personal life. However, you caught me in a fairly good mood, so I will tickle your fancy. What you saw on the tron, was exactly that. I drove Janet to the show. She needed a ride to the show, so I gave her one. I'd do the same thing for you, Sierra. That's all there is to the story. There's no sex scandal, or anything of the nature.
Sierra Starr: Then tell me Luke, why did the rest of us have to go through a tournament while Janet gets a free pass?
Luke Mathews: Well, when you're in my shoes, you have to make some tough business decisions. At the end of the day, AXW wouldn't exist without the fans, and what do the fans want? They want Janet Hurricane. I simply gave the fans what they wanted. So, please stop with this whole investigation. I told you all that there was to know, you're not going to find any dirty laundry, all you're doing is wasting your time.
Sierra Starr: I know there's more to this, it's only a matter of time.
Sierra exits the ring, Luke looking at her leave, not looking to pleased of the accusations.
-----
We cut to a vignette. The Quebec flag is waving with glory. Jean-Pierre Frontenac's voice is heard as we see various scenery from Quebec.
Jean-Pierre Frontenac: Why is it that you are surprised that I defeated Bobo Sweetcakes? Bobo is nothing more than a glorified baker. Now that I am once again a singles competitor, I am unstoppable. Nothing will stop me from getting what I want, and what I want is the Adrenaline Championship.
We now see JPF.
Jean-Pierre Frontenac: Je m'appelle Jean-Pierre Frontenac. Je suis un latteur. Prochain Champion d'Adrénaline. (My name is Jean-Pierre Frontenac. I am a wrestler. Next Adrenaline Champion.)
SINGLES MATCH
Bobo Sweetcakes vs. Jesse Laurent
Olya Oglovska accompanied Bobo to ringside, coaching and barking orders throughout the match. The man known to the AXW faithful as Jesse Laurent, is still looking to impress the AXW higher-ups and get a full-time contract. Jesse came right out of the gate, attacking Bobo as soon as he got in the ring. Jesse would hit a number of some vicious looking strikes. Bobo would bounce back with some strikes of his own, hitting the sequence that he calls Sugar Rush. Bobo would whip Jesse into the corner, look for a body splash but Jesse would get out of the way. Jesse would quickly hit a yakuza kick to Bobo in the corner. Jesse would go for a cover, and Olya would put Bobo's foot on the bottom rope. Referee Zack Fields did not catch Olya, but did see the foot on the rope. Jesse looked like he was going for some form of submission (those who know him as Jesus Lorenzo can only assume he was going for #REKT), but Bobo would kick him away before he could lock it in. Jesse then looked like he was going for a rolling elbow, but Bobo ducked it and would then hit a German suplex, dragon suplex, and a tiger suplex combination. Bobo goes for the pin, Jesse would get his foot on the rope, but Olya would quickly push it off, Zack Fields unfortunately did not see any of this, thus Bobo got the three count.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, BOBO SWEETCAKES!
Post-Match: Bobo was ecstatic that he won, but was also unaware of what Olya just did. The two celebrate as we head into commercial.
SINGLES MATCH
Bruiser Lazzou vs. John Wyatt
John Wyatt would try to charge at Lazzou, only to get caught in a nasty spinebuster. John would hold the small of his back, as he crawled to the corner, to help pull himself up. This was clearly a mistake, as the veteran would only squash him with a body splash. Lazzou would start to pummel John in the corner, but would actually back off when referee Brian Sullivan counted to 4. Lazzou would hoist Wyatt to the top rope, and would climb up himself. He of course connects with Bruised and Battered, and if that wasn't enough, he also hits the Bruiser Bomb. Bruiser would go for the cover, but at 2, Bruiser pulled Wyatt's shoulder up. He would do this several more times, before bringing Wyatt back up to his feet. Now just toying with him, Lazzou hits a double powerbomb. Lazzou then brings Wyatt to the ropes, trapping his arms in the top and middle ropes. Before Lazzou can do anything else, he is attacked by Mateusz Bartkowiak! Mateusz, with a bandaged forehead, and a black eye, delivers a number of punches to Lazzou, each shot sending him back to a different set of ropes, as Brian Sullivan would free John Wyatt. With Lazzou against the ropes, Mateusz hits him with a big boot that sends him over the top rope.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner as a result of a disqualification, BRUISER LAZZOU!
Mateusz is yelling at Lazzou to get back in the ring. Lazzou looks as if though he is going to climb onto the apron, but then throws his hands forward in the "screw this" motion (writer's note: is there a word for this?) before walking to the back. Mateusz stands tall in the ring as we head backstage.
-----
We are in the locker room of Pyrostar, who gives his rebuttal to Damien Steele.
Pyrostar: Admit that you're wrestling? You are a coward who attacks me backstage, and breaks the rules in the ring. That's not wrestling. I--
Before he can continue, he is blind-sinded by Damien Steele, who throws him into the lockers.
Damien Steele: You are nothing more to me than a roadblock! I won't stop until you admit that I am better than you!
-----
We now cut to a different part of the arena. Bobo Sweetcakes is talking on his phone. Olya is not in sight, and David Slayton walks up.
Bobo Sweetcakes: Hey, I gotta let you go, my friend just walked up. Okay. Alright. I will. Okay. I love you too, mom. Bye. (Hangs up.) Hey.
David Slayton: Hey. What was that?
Bobo Sweetcakes: I was just talking to my mom.
David Slayton: No, I meant your match. What's this whole thing with Olya? Are you aware she pushed Jesse's foot off the rope?
Bobo Sweetcakes: We came to an agreement, she's going teaching me how to win, and I'm teaching her how to bake. It's a win win scenario if you ask me.
David Slayton: You've lost like, two matches. You don't need someone to teach you how to win.
Bobo Sweetcakes: That's two too many, my friend. This relationship is beneficial for both of our careers.
David Slayton: But she helped you cheat. Do you really want to win by cheating?
Bobo Sweetcakes: What? Cheat? I would never cheat on Olya. Where would you even get an idea like that?
David Slayton: That's not what I said at all--
Olya walks into frame, cutting him off.
Olya Oglovska: There's my winner! Bobo, dahlink, won't you come teach me how to make soufflé now?
Bobo Sweetcakes: Sure, Olya! Hey man, I'll catch you later.
Bobo starts to walk off. Olya stays for a moment, only to give David an evil glare, before she goes to catch up with Bobo. David watches as they walk away, sighing and shaking his head.
MAIN EVENT
AXW CHAMPIONSHIP NUMBER ONE CONTENDERSHIP
Crest Silver vs. Justin Wyndham
After the entrances, and as soon as the bell rings, "Evil Ways" by Blues Saraceno plays. The song plays for a full minute, and that's when Magnum Wolf strolls down to ringside. He takes a seat next to Benji Mathews at the announce table, kicking his feet up onto the table. Wyndham is distracted by Wolf which allows Silver to start the match in control. Silver takes Wyndham down with a series of clotheslines. Silver hits a reverse ddt, trying to get a quick cover. Silver whips Wyndham into the ropes and hits a big boot on the rebound, trying another quick cover. Silver lifts Wyndham up for a suplex, but on the way down Wyndham counters with a neckbreaker, getting a two count. Wyndham hits a muay thai combination, ending it with Peace Out. Wyndham hits some of his big moves, Bound for Glory, Suicide Blonde, Ranhei, and a Kenka Kick. Justin ascends the top rope, facing the crowd, but Silver is back to his feet and pushes Wyndham's legs out from under him. Wyndham gets racked up on the top turnbuckle, and Silver climbs up with him and hits a super back suplex. Instead of going for a cover, Silver distracts the official, Matt Baker, by claiming he has a knee injury. This is of course a set up, as Crash Jackson has grabbed a steel chair, and climbs onto the apron. Crash Jackson stands on the apron for a moment, before stepping back down. Crest Silver stops faking the injury and walks to the ropes, and yells at Jackson, "What are you doing?! You were supposed to hit him!" Crash Jackson doesn't give a response. An angry Crest Silver turns around, only to be caught up in a Doomsday Driver, that gives Justin Wyndham the victory.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, and new Number One Contender for the AXW Championship, JUSTIN WYNDHAM!
Post-Match: Magnum Wolf leaves the announce table, and walks to the back, not even acknowledging that Justin won. He seems to be walking with confidence, as if this will be another easy victory for him at AXW Supershow III. When Justin is done celebrating, he leaves the ring, heading for the back. Crest Silver is starting to stir, and this is when Crash Jackson enters the ring, chair in hand. Crest sits up, holding his head. He looks over at Crash.
Crest Silver: Why didn't you go through with the plan?!
Crash starts to slowly walk towards Crest. Crest looks around, and sees that they are the only two in the ring, and that's when he realizes what Crash is going to do. Crest holds up his hands, begging Crash not to do it. Crash hands the chair to Crest, who confusingly accepts it. That was the last thing Crest saw before Crash kicked the chair into his face. Crash picks up the chair and starts beating Crest with it, hitting Crest in the ribs, the back, whatever happens to be facing up as he swings the chair down with force. He does this until the chair actually starts to bend, and throws the chair aside. Crash brings Crest to his feet only to throw him out to the floor. Crash exits the ring and rams Crest into the barricade, the apron, the barricade, the apron, before throwing him into the ring post. Crash lifts Crest up once again, this time to throw him into the ring steps. Crash removes the top half of the steps from the bottom, and sets them aside. Crash lifts and slams Crest onto the bottom half of the steps with The Demolisher. Crash grabs the top half of the steps, and slams them down onto Crest, sandwiching him between the halves. Crest rolls off the steps, seemingly lifelessly, and Crash reassembles the steps, before dragging them over to the announce table. Crash lifts Crest onto his right shoulder, Crest facing upwards. Crash then walks up the steps, before throwing Crest off his shoulder with a Dominator through the announce table. Keep in mind, Crash never bothered to remove the monitors, or anything at all, from the announce table. The show ends with doctors attending to Silver, stretcher and all, as Jackson remains standing on the steps, looking down at the fallen Silver.
