We return once more to AXW Studios. Lily Luna: Congratulations to David Slayton on his much deserved Hall of Fame spot. Zack Fields: Another Hall of Fame to add to his collection. Lily Luna: We're down to our final spot, and it is the final of the first-ever champions. Zack Fields: That must mean you are referring to the first-ever AXW Light Heavyweight Champion. Lily Luna: That I am. For our final inductee into the AXW Hall of Fame, ladies and gentlemen, "The Vicious One" Damien Steele! DARK MATCH Damien Steele vs. Damien Steele would talk to fans on his way to the ring, mic in hand, declaring himself the only real, genuine wrestler in the company, and further stating that there are a lot of people on the roster that represent the very worst kinds of performers in the industry, but assuring the people that he was here to bring real wrestling back, whether anyone liked it or not. He would then issue a challenge to anyone in the back to prove him wrong. This would bring out Pyrostar who would enter the ring and stand right next to Steele who would ask “Well, Pedro, have anything to say?” to which Pyrostar would deliver a solid buzzsaw kick right to the temple of Steele as referee Zack Fields would call for the start of the match. Pyrostar would start with a dazzling display of arm drags, followed by a flying headscissors and a spinning heel kick for a near fall. Not letting up, a springboard cross body and a corkscrew plancha would each earn the masked superstar two more nearfalls on the newcomer, but it was obvious Steele wasn’t here to play around. Pyrostar would try for a frogsplash but meet nothing but the knees of Steele, who would then open up his attack with STIFF knee shots to the ribs, followed by a lung blower and a gut buster. Steele would then hit a bridging Northern Lights suplex for a two count, but didn’t stop there, hitting a Complete Shot for another near fall. Steele would signal for the end, hitting the 2nd City Sleeper on Pyrostar for the 3 count and the victory. Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, DAMIEN STEELE!! Post Match: Steele slaps his hands together like it was too easy, before grabbing the mic and saying in the most arrogant, snarky voice imaginable, “Next victim!” before dropping the mic on Pyrostar and leaving to a chorus of boos from the crowd. The lights all go out and "Miseria Cantare" by AFI starts as a single spotlight shines on the entrance as Damien Steele is standing in the entrance hair in front of his face as at the 45 second mark of the song. Salvatore Pellegrino: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 221 pounds, he is "The Vicious One" DAMIEEEEEN STEEEEEELE! Damien flips his hair back and starts to walk down to the ring, as the words of the song start. LOVE... YOUR HATE... Damien Steele makes no connection to any fans that might be throwing insults his way, almost as if he is only focused on the ring, and more specifically his opponent. YOUR... FAITH LOST... Steele reaches the ring as he walks around to the steps. YOU... ARE NOW... Damien waits at the bottom of the steps keeping his eyes on his opponent. ONE... OF US... A wicked smile comes across his face as the words of the song repeat again just a little bit faster this time. LOVE... YOUR HATE... YOUR... FAITH LOST... YOU... ARE NOW... ONE... OF US... Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent. The opening drum beats of "My Hero" start up as white pyros scream and explode. Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, from San Juan, Puerto Rico, weighing in at 185 pounds, "The Shooting Star" PYYYROOOSTAAAAR! Through the smoke comes Pyrostar, pumping the crowd up before sprinting to the ring and entering it and dodging a lariat from Steele as the referee would quickly call for the bell as Pyrostar would hit a flying cross body on Steele! SINGLES MATCH Pyrostar vs. Damien SteelePyrostar would hit a flying headscissors on Steele, followed by a flying front drop kick taking Steele to the outside. Not missing a beat, Pyrostar would soar through the air with a blind suicide plancha to Steele, as the crowd was on fire from the early aerial display from Pyrostar, but when he went to bring Steele to his feet, Damien would push Pyrostar into the steel steps hard before rolling him back in the ring. Steele was infuriated as he picked apart Pyrostar with a belly to back complete shot, release Northern Lights suplex and a diving knee drop. Steele would place his foe in a tree of woe followed by a brutal double stomp. Steele would yell out to the crowd “IS THIS YOUR HERO?!” Steele would bring Pyrostar to his feet, slapping him around, only for Pyrostar to hit a brain kick that took Steele right off his feet! AXW’s resident hero would open up his offense with stinging kicks, followed by a hurrinicarana followed by hard rights to Steele! A missile dropkick would earn Pyro a two count and it seemed like he would win the match with his Blind Faith signature moonsault into a legdrop, but Steele would fight back, counting a Pyrostar charge into a rope stun gun, followed by a running STO! Steele seemingly had enough, focusing his attack on Pyrostar’s ribs, before locking on a form of the Regal Stretch. Pyrostar would reach the ropes, but Steele roared, not letting go, as the referee would call for the bell, Steele still locking on the move! Salvatore Pellegrino: Your winner, by disqualification, PYROSTAR!! Post Match: Steele is a man possessed, his eyes wide with fury, as he continues locking on the submission. Zack Fields and a host of refs are trying to get Steele off of Pyrostar, who finally relents, but not before yelling “YOU’RE NOT WRESTLING! I’M WRESTLING, DAMN IT!” before throwing obscene gestures to the crowd and storming off to a chorus of boos, as officials attend to Pyrostar. Craig Brooks: My guest at this time, Damien Steele. What caused you to-
Damien Steele: Stop right there. Why do I need to explain my actions to you? Who even are you? Some fat guy they pulled in right off the street? The kids these days love Pyrostar. Who is Pyrostar? Some faceless man hiding behind a mask. You see--
Damien is stopped as he is being attacked by Pyrostar. The two brawl backstage, Damien being slammed face first into the catering table, getting food on his face. Pyrostar looks to throw Steele into a loading crate, but Steele counters and throws Pyrostar into it instead. With Pyrostar propped up against it, Damien hits a boot to his face. Damien tries to pull Pyrostar's mask off, but is pulled back by backstage personnel.
The camera fades in and shows Damien Steele pacing back and forth in his locker room. He is breathing heavy and as he runs his hands through his hair. He smashes his fist against the wall as he turns around and sees the camera.
Damien Steele: HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID!? It's okay I won't let that foolishness trick me again. Pyrostar, you are nothing in this business, that's why everywhere you have went in EWS has proven that, push you around and around until you find yourself in AXW. Still curtain-jerking to the REAL UP AND COMING STAR, Damien Steele!
Steele walks closer to the camera as his hair is hanging in his face.
Damien Steele: Don't think I'm done with you yet, you freakin' Rician! I want to make sure you don't think you have any, and I mean ANY chance that I wont be denied MY CHANCE in AXW!
Damien turns and punches a wall as he walks off camera, and the camera fades out. As Damien's voice is heard.
Damien Steele: I won't stop til you admit I AM WRESTLING!
With that, we cut to commerical. We are in the locker room of Pyrostar, who gives his rebuttal to Damien Steele.
Pyrostar: Admit that you're wrestling? You are a coward who attacks me backstage, and breaks the rules in the ring. That's not wrestling. I--
Before he can continue, he is blind-sinded by Damien Steele, who throws him into the lockers.
Damien Steele: You are nothing more to me than a roadblock! I won't stop until you admit that I am better than you! We're at an undisclosed location of the arena, as we see Damien Steele pacing back and forth.
Damien Steele: With AXW Supershow III just two weeks away, everyone's getting their last minute match proposals in. But I have nothing to propose to you, Pyrostar. See, I don't need to ask you if I can beat you senseless. I don't need your permission. Whether you like it or not, I'm gonna beat you at the Supershow. And the loser of our match at the Supershow, which will be you Pyrostar, will have to get on a live microphone and announce to the world that the winner of the match, which will be me, is better than you. And as I said, I'm not proposing this match to you. Luke Mathews already signed it.
Through the long hair that's in front of his face, we can see an evil grin on Damien's mug. SINGLES MATCH Damien Steele vs. Jamie Fuller
The two men lock up, with Steele getting the clear advantage when he drives Fuller into a corner. He takes Jamie's breath out of him as he riddles his midsection with multiple shoot kicks. His offence doesn’t last long as Fuller sidesteps and lets out a kick flurry of his own, and tops it off with a Gamengiri. Fuller is working the crowds when Steele gets up and nails Fuller with a clothesline. He pins Fuller with a bridging Northern Lights Suplex to which Fuller kicks out in two. The two men get up and circle each other, maintaining their distance. Jamie tries to close the gap between them with a standing vertical dropkick that connects with Steele's face and sends him slumped against the ropes. Fuller connects with a leg lariat that sends Damien out of the ring. Fuller is in control now as he heads up the top turnbuckle to hit a senton bomb. He took too much time though as Damien has already gotten up at that point and rolls out of the way, letting Fuller hit the hard barricade. Damien gets into the ring, and urges the ref to count, which he does. At the count of 8, Jamie gathers enough strength to return to the ring, and Damien almost pounces on him with a Thesz press and start hitting punches and elbows, until Fuller grabs the ropes and the ref separates Damien from Fuller. Fuller gets up as Damien charges at him with a discus clothesline, which Fuller counters with an perfectly executed Inverted Stomp Facebreaker that sends Damien reeling. Damien is on his feet but still woozy as Fuller sees this as his chance to capitalize, going for a superkick, but Steele reverses into a wheelbarrow facebuster. Jamie is struggling to get up when Steele bounces off the ropes and hits the Loony Stomp for the pin and the win.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, DAMIEN STEELE! Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is set for one fall, and the loser of the match must admit that the winner is better than them. The opening drum beats of "My Hero" start up as white pyros scream and explode. Salvatore Pellegrino: Introducing first, from San Juan, Puerto Rico, weighing in at 185 pounds, "The Shooting Star" PYYYROOOOSTAAAAAARR! Through the smoke comes Pyrostar, pumping the crowd up before sprinting to the ring and somersaulting over the ropes, landing on his feet, more pyros popping as he does this. He points to the heavens as he stands atop a turnbuckle, before leaping off and bouncing in his corner, pumped for the match as "My Hero" fades out. The lights all go out and "Miseria Cantare" by AFI starts as a single spotlight shines on the entrance as Damien Steele is standing in the entrance hair in front of his face as at the 45 second mark of the song. Damien flips his hair back and starts to walk down to the ring, as the words of the song start. Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 221 pounds, he is "The Vicious One" DAMIEEEEEEEN STEEEEEEEEELE! SINGLES MATCH LOSER ADMITS WINNER IS BETTER THAN THEM Pyrostar vs. Damien SteeleAs the bell rings, Pyrostar wastes no time and tackles Steele with a somersault rana. Damien is stunned by the sudden onslaught of attack and cannot defend himself effectively as Pyrostar hits a couple of shoot kicks before hitting his signature shuffle side kick on the back of Damien's head. Damien is down, and Pyrostar climbs to the top turnbuckle, the fans cheering him on. He points to the fans, and goes for a moonsault, launching his body high in the air and transitions in midair as he hits a leg drop on Damien! Blind Faith! He hooks the leg of Damien, looking to end the match early but Steele kicks out at two. Pyrostar again starts climbing the top turnbuckle as Damien gets up. Pyrostar attempts for an Asai moonsault, but Steele, with surprising strength, catches Pyrostar in midair. He nails the luchador's face with a Reverse STO that makes Pyrostar's head bounce! Pyrostar is down, and now Damien seems to be regaining control. He stomps Pyrostar's hands and feet, circling him and taunting him. Steele only laughs as Pyrostar tries to get up, much to the ire of the crowd. Steele points at himself and gets in Pyro's face, shouting- "I'm the best F'N wrestler here!". He bounces off the ropes, running towards Pyrostar to hit a clothesline but misses as he ducks. Pyrostar was waiting for Damien to rebound back from the other side of the ring, and hits a flipping neckbreaker, curbing the momentum of the vicious one. Pyrostar hooks the leg of Damien after executing a standing moonsault splash, but Damien kicks out at two again. Pyrostar waits for Damien to get up, and bounces off the ropes to hit a running armdrag. He immediately follows it with a legdrop and then a standing shooting star press, which targeted the ribs of Steele. Damien too counters with some offense by trying to hit a releasing Northern Lights suplex but Pyrostar lands on his feet and downs Damien with a backflip kick. Pyrostar pumps up the crowd as he signals for Raining Stars…. Damien catches him. With one swift motion, Damien holds Pyro in place, and hits the Damien Special. The crowd is in shock as The referee starts counting-- 1…. 2…. 3…. ! Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, DAMIEN STEELE! Post-Match: Damien is gloating and being cocky to his fullest. He asks for a microphone, and receives one. Damien Steele: Ladies and gentlemen, after my awe-inspiring win over YOUR poor excuse of a hero--- He smirks as the crowd boos heavily. Damien Steele: As I was saying, your hero has something to say. Don't you? He brings the mic to Pyro, who accepts it and starts speaking. Pyrostar: Damien…I, I must admit, you were the better man tonight. Damien grins like a Cheshire cat as he makes a 'Hard to hear' gesture. Damien Steele: Pyro, Pyro, Pyro, C'mon, be a little louder! I can't hear you! Pyrostar: You were the better man tonight. Damien still makes the same gesture and smirks, taking the mic from Pyro again. Damien Steele: I seriously couldn't hear it. Again, and make sure your voice is heard! Pyrostar takes the mic from Damien, and goes to speak. Pyrostar: Damien… Suddenly, the Shooting Star drops the mic and jumps up to Damien! Raining Stars! Pyro just hit Raining Stars on Steele! He picks up the mic again. Pyrostar: You shouldn't have tested my patience. With that, he walks out to the back as "My Hero" by Foo Fighters starts blaring. MATCH 1 – AXW Light Heavyweight Championship Six Man Over The Top Rope Battle Royal. Competing in this match will be: Pyrostar, Damien Steele, Sean Foster, Corbin Mason, Jamie Fuller, and Jay Blazenwing ----------------------------------- Mike Vincent: Representing AXW for Night Two of Sin City Showdown, I am Mike Vincent alongside Benji Mathews! Benji Mathews: As I said on Night One, the landscape of AXW is constantly changing, as right now we're about to crown the first ever holder of the newly introduced AXW Light Heavyweight Championship. Mike Vincent: And right now, we'll send it to Felicia Jennings for the introductions. Felicia Jennings: This next contest is a Six Man Battle Royal for the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship! All six men will start in the ring at once. In order to be eliminated, one must be thrown over the top rope with both feet landing on the floor. This goes on until one man is remaining, who will be the first ever AXW Light Heavyweight Champion! Felicia Jennings: Introducing first, making his EWS Debut, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, weighing in at 207 pounds, JAAAAAAAAYYYY BLAAAZENWIIIIIING! PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT! The lights in the arena all cut to black and the Tron comes to life, pulsating with a ice blue light as a quiet beat gets louder with every flash. It gets faster and faster, and louder with each pulse, until the pulsating light explodes into the words "Blazenwing Rises" and “The Phoenix” by Fall Out Boy blares across the arena sound system. You are a brick tied to me that's dragging me down Strike a match and I'll burn you to the ground We are the jack-o-lanterns in July Setting fire to the sky He-here comes this rising tide So come on PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT! The stage fills with smoke and the crowd rises to their feet, cheering loudly, as the smoke clears on the stage and a man in a black and silver clamped trench coat stands, head down, facing the Tron. He raises his hands and snaps his fingers, causing four loud bursts of pyro to ignite, two on each side of him, before spinning around Y2J style to reveal Jay Blaze! Cross walks and crossed hearts and hope-to-dies Silver clouds with grey linings So we can take the world back from the heart-attacked One maniac at a time we will take it back You know time crawls on when you're waiting for the song to start So dance alone to the beat of your heart! His sunglasses shining with the glare from the arena lights, Jay looks to the left, then to the right, nodding towards the crowd before walking down the ramp. After stopping to slap hands with a few fans, Jay moves towards the ring steps and hops up and down a few times in front of them before quickly racing up the steps to the apron side facing the stage. He stops and pulls his sunglasses off, then tosses them behind his head into the crowd before leaning down and stepping through the ropes to enter the ring. Hey young blood Doesn't it feel like our time is running out? I'm gonna change you like a remix Then I'll raise you like a phoenix You're wearing our vintage misery No, I think it looked a little better on me I'm gonna change you like a remix Then I'll raise you like a phoenix! Jay walks across the ring and leaps up onto the second rope in the corner nearest the timekeeper, then pulls off his trench coat and tosses it towards the timekeeper. Jay smirks and points to the fans, then slaps his chest a few times and points up towards the sky, closing his eyes and saying a short prayer much like his brother is known for. Jay leaps down from the corner and immediately turns to sit down in the same corner, ala Raven. Jay then rests his head on the second turnbuckle pad as his theme fades and the crowd continues cheering. Mike Vincent: Jay Blazenwing, the younger half brother of former Adrenaline Champion David Slayton, is making both his EWS and AXW debut here tonight. Benji Mathews: I'm not quite sure I agree with Luke's decision of putting him in this match. What did he even do to deserve a title shot? He doesn't even have his own entrance, he just stole this one from his brother! Mike Vincent: Well, this isn't the first time this has happened. Luke did give a title opportunity to Janet Hurricane in her AXW re-debut. Maybe Luke is in some weird polygamous relationship with Janet and Jay? Benji Mathews: You're lucky Luke is no longer in charge, I'm sure he would've fired you on the spot for such an outlandish rumor. Felicia Jennings: From Nitro, West Virginia, weighing in at 205 pounds, "The Trailer Park Kid" CORBIIIIIN MAAAASOOOOON! The lights dim as "Kick It In Sticks" by Brantley Gilbert begins to play over the P.A. system and as the lyrics kick in, Corbin Mason storms out from behind the curtain and lets out a loud yell of "YEEEEEE-HAAAAAAAW!!!" as the fans cheer for him loudly as he yells out to the crowd "CHECKERS OR WRECKERS, BABY!" and shakes his head at the positive response of the crowd as he smiles at the fans and tags hands with them before finally running into the ring, sliding under the apron, charging to the nearest turnbuckle, pounding on his chest like Tarzan and letting out another loud "YEEEEEE-HAAAAAAAAW!!!" and pointing to the fans hollering out "THAT'S RIGHT, BY GOD! THAT'S RIGHT, Y'ALL!!!" before jumping off the middle turnbuckle and running the ropes in anticipation of his opponent's arrival. Mike Vincent: A win here could really help elevate Corbin Mason. Benji Mathews: Corbin Mason is nothing more than a Southern stereotype. Did you even see his entrance? There's no way this guy is winning tonight. Mike Vincent: Kind of harsh there, Ben. Felicia Jennings: From Paradise, Florida, weighing in at 205 pounds, "The Thrilla" JAMIIIE FULLEEERRR! “The Toughest Sport” by TP and Esco plays as Jamie Fuller pushes through the curtain, slapping hands with the fans that reach out on both side. Nodding his head to the music, he makes his way to the ring, then slides in under the bottom rope. He climbs the tv side ropes, and bends low before kicking his head back and rising his hands and pointer fingers overhead with a smile. Jumping off the ropes, he stretches out in the corner, and bounces off the ropes getting a feel. Mike Vincent: With his partner in this match, you gotta wonder how long they'll be aligned. Benji Mathews: If he had any sense, he'd throw him out as soon as the bell rings. Mike Vincent: You're really not a fan of Mason, huh? Felicia Jennings: From San Juan, Puerto Rico, weighing in at 185 pounnds, "The Shooting Star" PYROOOSTAAAAARRR! The opening drum beats of "My Hero" start up as white pyros scream and explode. Mike Vincent: Pyrostar is perhaps the fan favorite going into this match. Benji Mathews: The fans pick this guy? Why? He hides behind a mask and on top of that has been in a slump thanks to one Damien Steele. Felicia Jennings: From Spokane, Washington, weighing in at 190 pounds, "Mr. Intensity" SEEAAAN FOSTEEEEER! "Show you how to be man, how to be the boss How to come through with seven coats of the gloss Show you how to be man, show you how to be man Show you how to be man, how to be the boss How to buy the car, how to buy the house Show you how to be man, show you how to be man" ‘"How to be the Man" by Riff Raff blares out as the arena lights goes off and the camera focuses on the titantron where there is a video of Sean Foster counting from forty to one as if counting down the seconds before he will appear. Sure enough when he says one, gold pyros comes out of nowhere and the arena lights is now normal to see Sean Foster at the top of the ramp with a cheesy grin as the crowd boos him loudly. Sean makes his way to the ring, pointing at all of the fans to cheer for him, which they are not. Once he enters the ring, he goes to the nearest turnbuckle and climbs up. He surveys around the arena like Christian does before screaming on the top of his lungs, 'WHO'S THE MAN!?" expecting the crowd to yell out that he is. Foster then backflips, almost perfectly on the mat. He then sprays himself with some Intensity perfume and cheesy smile, showing off the perfume before getting ready for his match Benji Mathews: Now here's on of my favorites in this match, THE MAN! Sean Foster! Mike Vincent: I'm curious as to if Caitlin Shay will get involved, he can't seem to win without her help. Benji Mathews: Behind every great man is a great woman, and there's no better woman in AXW than Caitlin Shay. Plus, Caitlin is currently home in Florida, still recuperating from her cage match. Mike Vincent: So she's not even here to cheer him on? Sean competed in a cage too. Benji Mathews: Yeah but Sean didn't take a 15 foot fall, face first, from the roof of the cage. It's miracle that Caitlin isn't grotesquely disfigured. Show some compassion! Felicia Jennings: And from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 221 pounds, "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEEEEELE! Benji Mathews: My other favorite in this match. I guarantee you either he or Sean Foster are walking out of here with the Light Heavyweight Championship. Mike Vincent: I'm sure the other competitors, especially Pyrostar, would have to disagree with you there. The bell sounds, and it's Pyrostar who targets Damien Steele, Jamie Fuller and Sean Foster, which leaves Corbin Mason to take on Jay Blazenwing. Jay gets Corbin up on the ropes, which prompts Sean to try to help eliminate him, only for Jamie to stop them both. Meanwhile Damien Steele has Pyrostar in Jeopardy on the apron, but Pyrostar is able to avoid elimination and get back inside the ropes. Corbin and Jamie are working together, and manage to convince Jay to team up with them for the time being, as they triple team Sean Foster, easily eliminating him from the competition. Mike Vincent: There goes one of your two picks early on, Benj. Benji Mathews: Well, it was unfair he was even competing tonight anyway, after that cage match and all. Damien however has this one in the bag. Damien has Pyrostar in the corner and is delivering blows, trying to soften him up. Damien gets turned around by Jay, and as Damien appears he's about to do something, quickly realizes he's out numbered. Damien tries to work something out with them, but is blindsided by Pyrostar. The 4-on-1 attack begins, before Jay throws him out of the ring. Damien went through the top and middle ropes, not over the top. The four now have a stand-off. Jamie and Corbin side with each other of course, leaving Jay to now side with Pyrostar. The two sides go at it, with Jamie and Corbin getting the upper hand. They back Jay and Pyrostar into the ropes, and each clothesline the two over the top rope. Jay and Pyrostar manage to hold on and stay on the apron. Corbin and Jamie try to stay on the attack, but Corbin is met with a punch from Jay and Jamie is met with a forearm from Pyrostar. Pyrostar looks to springboard back into the ring, but Jay grabs his foot and yanks him back down, Pyrostar hitting face first on the apron as he falls to the floor. Jamie looks to eliminate Jay, but is caught with a rope-aided gamengiri. Corbin charges at Jay, only for Jay to pull the rope down, causing Corbin to fall down to the floor. Mike Vincent: Jay Blazenwing just eliminated Pyrostar and Corbin Mason in a matter of seconds. Benji Mathews: Beginner's luck. Jay has entered the ring and grapples with Jamie, hitting a couple of German suplexes. He looks for a pendulum backbreaker, but Jamie counters by kneeing him in the face and hitting a Russian leg sweep. Jamie hits a fireman's carry neckbreaker, and then throws Jay into the turnbuckles with a belly-to-belly suplex. Jamie gets caught off-guard by Damien Steele, who re-enters this match with a slingshot stunner. Damien throws Jamie into the corner opposite Jay and hits a dropkick to the cornered Jamie. Damien runs to the other side of the ring and hits a basement dropkick to the upside down Jay in the other corner. Damien runs back to Jamie's corner and hits him with a back elbow. Damien darts to Jay's corner, who used the corner to help himself up, and hits Jay with a forceful yakuza kick that's able to send Jay over the top rope. Jay lands on the apron, on all fours. Damien slingshots over the top rope, driving Jay's face into the apron with a Loony Stomp, Jay falling to the floor. Benji Mathews: And his luck just ran out. Mike Vincent: Say what you will, but he did eliminate half of the competitors in this match. Strong showing for one of AXW's newcomers. Damien tries to springboard back into the ring but is caught in mid-air by a dropkick from Jamie. Jamie hits a series of more dropkicks to Damien. Damien tries to go for a clothesline but Jamie ducks it and hits a flurry of kicks, topping them all with a gamengiri. Jamie spends the next few minutes trying to weaken down Damien, hitting him a second rope leg lariat, lungblower, cradle northern lights suplex, and a scoop slam into an emerald flowsion. Jamie hits a superkick, back kick, and snap reverse ddt combo. Jamie follows this up by hitting a turnbuckle powerbomb, which was a set up for the Small Package Driver! Jamie picks up the near lifeless Damien Steele, grabs him by the hair and tights, and throws him over the top rope! Mike Vincent: Jamie Fuller wins! Jamie is the first ever AXW Light Heavyweight Champion! Jamie would stagger across the ring to the opposite ropes he just threw Damien, using them to help him stay on his feet, thinking he just won the match. Before he knows it, he's thrown over the top rope by Damien Steele, both feet hitting the floor. Benji Mathews: Damien's feet never hit the floor, he managed to hold on! Felicia Jennings: Here is your winner, and FIRST EVER AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, DAMIEN STEELE! "Miseria Cantare" plays throughout the arena as Damien Steele is handed the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship. Jamie is sat against the barricade, hands in his hair, a defeated look on his face as he thought he had won it all. Jamie makes his way to the back as Damien celebrates. AXW Light Heavyweight Championship Damien Steele (c) vs. Ryan Starr
Ryan immediately goes after Damien, Damien backs away and ducks through the ropes. Referee Zack Fields keeps Ryan at bay, when Ryan tries to go back at him, Damien ducks back between the ropes. Ryan maneuvers his way around the referee only to get a boot to the face from Damien. Damien looks for a back suplex but Ryan flips out of it, landing on his feet. Ryan executes an O'Connor roll, getting a quick two count. Ryan then does a wheelbarrow victory roll, another two count. Damien rolls out of the ring, to create some early separation. Ryan charges the ropes and looks for a suicide dive, but Damien side steps it. Damien suplexes Ryan onto the apron, before pushing him into the ring. Damien climbs onto the apron, waiting for Ryan to get up, and when he does, executes a slingshot stunner. Getting a two count, Damien goes right back on the attack. Damien hits a falcon arrow, before going off the ropes with a springboard moonsault, but Ryan gets his knees up. Ryan hits an enzuigiri, and looks for a Starr to Remember, but Damien kicks him away. Ryan runs at Damien, and baseball slides right between his legs, before hitting a double knee backbreaker. Ryan then hits a swinging neckbreaker, before going to the top rope. Ryan awaits for Damien to get up so he can hit Burning Flames. Damien gets up, and immediately dives to hit the top rope, causing Ryan to lose his balance. Ryan gets hung up on the top rope, and Damien hits Steele Dragon, holding onto his title for at least one more night.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, and STILL the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, DAMIEN STEELE!
Mike Vincent: A clean win tonight for Damien Steele, which means tomorrow night he will be the one defending the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship against Justin Wyndham.
Cole Haywood: Damien Steele is the future of AXW, it's only a matter of time before he's the AXW Champion.
Mike Vincent: According to TRENT's logic, he's not qualified.
Cole Haywood: I'm sure TRENT can make a special exception. Justin Wyndham makes his way down to the ring, in his ring gear, with his midsection taped up. Justin Wyndham: I'm not gonna beat around the bush, I got a beating last night. For whatever reason, TRENT has a vendetta against me. He books me in a No Disqualification match against a man twice my size, where he knows that I'm gonna get pretty beat up, and then a day later I have to compete against a man who calls himself "The Vicious One". And on top of it all, I don't get my AXW Championship rematch because of some new bullshit rule he made up on the spot. Damien Steele makes his way down to the ring. Damien Steele: Sorry to interrupt you, Justin, but I thought I'd introduce myself to you before our match tonight. I am the new face of AXW, I am the most prestigious AXW Light Heavyweight Champion in history, despite what you may think, I am the best wrestler in the world, not you, I am Damien Steele. I am the-- Damien cuts himself off as he smashes his title across the face of Justin Wyndham. Damien backs to a corner, makes a gun symbol with his hand, pulls the trigger, and hits a Looney Stomp on Wyndham. Damien blows the smoke from the gun, before exiting the ring, smiling. Jen Brunelli: This is your Main Event! It is scheduled for one fall, and is for the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, from Cloverleaf, Texas, weighing in at 210 pounds, "The World Warrior" JUSTIN WYNDHAM! The opening beat of "ultranumb" by Blue Stahli as the crowd goes in a frenzy, hyped to see the arrival of "The World Warrior" The cameras focused on the countdown clock shown in the titantron while we hear a voice say, "Ultranumb" "THREE. THREe, THRee, THree,Three "TWO, TWO., two two ONE" "YOU WANT IT ALL RIGHT NOW" The lights starts to flicker before coming back to normal as Justin Wyndham comes out with a smile on his face. He bends down on both knees and looks at his imaginary "watch" before getting up and does a cut throat sign. He then gets up before running down to the ring in full speed. Once he enters the ring, he bangs his head to the nearest turnbuckle, hyping himself up before looking back at the crowd with a sick smile. He then climbs at the turnbuckle and does the cuthroat sign before getting off and waiting for his match to start. Jen Brunelli: And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 221 pounds, he is the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE! All the lights in the arena go out, except for a single spotlight on the stage. Love your hate, your faith lost You are now one of us

Love your hate, your faith lost You are now one of us
Love your hate, your faith lost You are now one, one of usThe entirety of Miseria Cantare plays, and Damien Steele is nowhere to be seen. The lights come back on, and there is a figure standing behind Justin Wyndham in the ring. The man removes the towel off of his head, turns Justin Wyndham around, and plants him with an Island Driver. Mike Vincent: What the hell?! What's TOA doing in AXW, and why is he attacking his best friend Justin Wyndham?! Cole Haywood: Clearly they're no longer best friends, Mike. Damien Steele finally makes his way down to the ring, receiving a microphone. Damien Steele: Sorry I took so long getting out here, I decided to take another few minutes to ready myself, since I'm facing a former World Champion and all. I'm ready to compete now, so Mr. Baker, please ring the bell. Damien drops his mic, while Senior Official Matt Baker states that he cannot start the match. TOA grabs Baker by his shirt, forcing him into the corner, and shouts, "HE SAID RING THE BELL!" Matt Baker, very reluctantly, and out of fear for his own well being, calls for the bell. MAIN EVENT AXW Light Heavyweight Championship Damien Steele (c) vs. Justin WyndhamJustin begins to stir after the Island Driver, only for his face to be acquainted with the mat as Damien Steele hits his second Looney Stomp of the night to Justin, retaining his title in record time. Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, and STILL the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, DAMIEN STEELE! TOA approaches Steele, the two locking eyes for the first time. They both start to grin, as TOA extends his hand, and without hesitation, Damien Steele shakes his hand. TOA hands Damien a black cloth of some sort, Damien Steele accepts it, and puts it on his torso, it's a black t-shirt that reads "SIN CITY SHOOTERS CLUB". Mike Vincent: You've got to be kidding me! Cole Haywood: I can't believe it either! Damien Steele is officially a member of the Sin City Shooters Club! The show ends with TOA raising Damien's hand, Damien holding his AXW Light Heavyweight Championship into the air, TOA holding his EWS World Tag Team Championship into the air, as they both stand tall over Justin Wyndham to a chorus of boos. ‘War Machine’ begins to play, as the crowd rises to their feet. The song plays out with the white spots lights zooming around the arena until the 33 second mark when the drums kick in and Austin Graves steps out from the back, checking the black hockey tape on his wrists. Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall! introducing first, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 245 pounds, "War Machine" AUSTIN GRAVES! Graves pays no attention to the crowd whether they boo or cheer him, and he’s focused like a laser beam on the task at hand. Rolling into the ring under the bottom rope, he rolls to his feet and walks over to the hard (tv) camera side of the ropes, placing both hands on the top ropes, pressing down on them slightly, staring coldly into the camera at first, then giving way to a cold, almost sick half smile as if to say, “I’m going to enjoy this…” The lights all go out and "Miseria Cantare" by AFI starts as a single spotlight shines on the entrance as Damien Steele (w/TO'A) is standing in the entrance hair in front of his face as at the 45 second mark of the song. Damien flips his hair back and starts to walk down to the ring, as the words of the song start. Jen Brunelli: And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by TO'A and representing the Shooters, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 221 pounds, "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE! YOU... ARE NOW... ONE... OF US... Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent till he reaches the top step and wipes his feet before entering the ring never taking his eyes off his opponent. vs. Damien and Austin lock up, Austin pushing Damien back to the corner, then breaking the lock up and repeatedly kicks Steele, backing away at Brian Sullivan's count of four. Austin goes back to Steele who hits Austin with an elbow, then pulls himself up the turnbuckles. Steele is stopped by Graves who climbs up with him and takes him back down with a superplex. Graves lifts Steele onto his shoulders and connects with a Firemans Carry Gutbuster, then a Double Knee Facebreaker. Graves brings Steele to his feet, Steele kicks Graves in the gut and picks him up for a Falcon Arrow. Steele connects with a Standing Shooting Star Press. The two get to their feet and Steele lifts Graves up for a Paroxysm. Steele attempts to whips Graves, Graves countering and whipping Steele to the ropes. Graves doubles over for a back body drop but Steele kicks him. Steele goes back off the ropes but Graves catches him with the Grave Robber (Scoop lift spun out into an over the shoulder back to belly piledriver). Graves decides he wants to start ending the match, and hits the Five Finger Death Punch (Short Arm Heart Punch), then starts to set up the Cradle 2 Grave (Package Piledriver), until TO'A climbs the apron, and Graves throws Steele away and goes to the apron. TO'A hops down and Graves yells something at him, then Graves turns around and is met with a pele kick from Steele. Graves bounces off the ropes behind him before falling to an all fours position. Steele taps his feet, waiting for Graves to get in the right position, then nails him in the back of the head with the 2nd City Sleeper (Boma Ye), as Steele picks up a victory. Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, DAMIEN STEELE! Lily Luna: Damien goes back to his winning ways, and against an especially tough opponent in Austin Graves. Chris Pierce: Well, he does have TO'A here to help him. Damien celebrates his win with TO'A before we head backstage.

‘Invincible’ by Adelitas Way hits and Acer Stone runs out from the back looking pumped up and energetic. He heads down the ramp and punches the air three times as red pyros go off at the top of the ramp behind him. Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall, and is to determine the Number One Contender to the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, from Tampa, Florida, weighing in at 165 pounds, ACER STONE! Acer heads over to the fans and slaps hands with them as he gets to the ring. He climbs into the ring and works the crowd a little more before they join him in punching the air three times. LOVE... YOUR HATE... Jen Brunelli: And his opponent, representing The Shooters, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 221 pounds, "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE! YOU... ARE NOW... ONE... OF US... Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent till he reaches the top step and wipes his feet before entering the ring never taking his eyes off his opponent. vs. #1 Contendership for the AXW Light Heavyweight ChampionshipMatch begins after referee Shane Gates provides last-minute instructions to both combatants. In perfect synchronicity with the bell, “The Vicious One” Damien Steele slaps Acer Stone twice in the face. As a retaliatory measure Acer tries firing off a few kicks to Damien’s right quadricep. Steele shoves his rival east and receives a School Boy for his efforts. He kicks out at 1 only to be met with a Dropkick to his right knee while trying to regain a vertical base. Acer Stone bounces off the western set of ring ropes and attempts a Springboard Hurricarana to a kneeling opponent. “The Vicious One” snatches Acer up, however, and Buckle Bombs him into the southeastern turnbuckle. Damien rushes toward his adversary with a Clothesline before hoisting him onto the top turnbuckle. He agitates via taunting some fans near the southern guardrail. Stone counters with a Tornado DDT but does not complete its full rotation. Miraculously Damien connects with a modified Northern Lights Suplex. He does not even attempt a pinfall. Instead Steele bounces off the northern ring ropes as Acer Stone winces back up. Before Damien can continue his rally he’s met by a Hip Toss from Stone over the southern top rope. Steele keeps a firm grip while planting both feet on the ring apron. He then scores a knee into Acer’s breadbasket before executing a Slingshot Stunner. Similar to others who try modifying this maneuver, Steele doesn’t quite get enough impact as he makes a lackadaisical pinfall attempt. He only hooks the right leg and neither shoulder. The referee reaches somewhere between a one and two-count when noticing Acer’s left ankle on the bottom rope. Steele becomes frustrated and stomps Acer before Shane Gates admonishes him in a separation-creation effort. “The Vicious One” gives the New England High Sign to Gates before kicking Acer square in the ribs one more time. Upon further admonishing Damien sulks over to the northeastern turnbuckle as the referee checks on the fallen competitor. Stone nods that he’s willing to press onward. Steele blazes a path towards him but earns a Flapjack for his troubles. Channeling his next potential opponent, Acer transitionally applies a Single Leg Boston Crab onto Damien’s right leg. Unwilling to surrender yet flailing like a salmon-esque motherfucker Steele lunges for the western middle rope. Shane Gates calls for a clean break which Acer Stone immediately complies with. “The Vicious One” smacks his right leg to induce adrenaline as a mechanism for numbing pain. Gauging he has the match well in hand Stone goes for broke with a Stone Cutter. Steele sidesteps him before striking with a Pele Kick which drives Acer into the southwestern turnbuckle. Damien props up Stone for his patented Steele Dragon. After successfully pulling off the high-risk move, Steele finishes Acer Stone with the Damien Special. Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, and the new Number One Contender for the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship, DAMIEN STEELE! Lily Luna: Damien Steele gets closer to trying to win back what he believes is his Light Heavyweight Championship. Chris Pierce: He was the first one to hold it, and held it the longest of everyone else, he really was the one that put it on the map. Damien exits the ring, and starts to back up the ramp in celebration. ....TO'A pulls Steve in for a short-arm clothesline, but Steve ducks it and slams TO'A with The Iconic Slam (Rock Bottom). Steve manages to lift TO'A up for a Triple German Suplex. Steve heads out to the apron, when he sees Damien Steele coming down to ringside, wearing a shirt that says "SHOOTERS". Steve glances at him momentarily, but doesn't allow him to be a distraction as Steve continues on with climbing to the top rope. Steve removes his "ICON" elbow pad and tosses it into the crowd before delivering a Superstar Elbow (Test-esk flying elbow) to TO'A. Steve brings TO'A to his feet and TO'A lifts Steve onto his shoulders for a Samoan Drop. Damien chucks a chair into the ring, which distracts referee Matt Baker. Matt goes to remove the chair from the ring, and at this time TO'A runs to the ropes, only for Damien to grab his leg and trip him! Steve picks TO'A up, and plants him to the mat with the Icon Bomb (Running Powerbomb)! Matt Baker who didn't see Damien trip TO'A, counts the three!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, STEVE CORMAN!
Mike Vincent: What's going on? Why did Damien trip his own partner?
Cole Haywood: They clearly are not partners anymore, Mike.
"Voodoo Child" plays once more as Matt raises Steve's hand. Damien slides into the ring, eyes focused on the downed TO'A. Steve takes a step back, not gonna get involved in what may or may not unfold. TO'A starts to get up, Damien makes a gun motion with his hand, points it at TO'A, and pulls the trigger. Damien runs in and Loony Stomps (Curb Stomp) TO'A. Damien looks down at his former partner, before looking up at the camera with a stern face. He takes off his "SHOOTERS" shirt, and throws it down at TO'A. Removing that shirt revealed a shirt he was wearing underneath it:
Steve Corman walks over to Damien Steele. Steve grabs Damien's wrist, and raises his arm into the air.
Mike Vincent: Damien Steele just turned on his mentor...
Cole Haywood: He has a new mentor, a better mentor, and his name is Steve Corman. Damien Steele is no longer in the Shooters Club, he is now a Steve Corman Guy.
Steve and Damien stand tall over the fallen TO'A, before fading to black.
We cut backstage to a locker room.
Steve Corman: You're gonna be taken to new heights, kid.
The camera pans over to see Steve Corman talking to Damien Steele.
Steve Corman: Heights you never thought were imaginable. Heights you could never reach in the Shooters Club. They were holding you back. You're a Steve Corman guy now. The first of what should be many in AXW.
Damien Steele: We're gonna be unstoppable, and that fat sack of crap TO'A will learn that first hand at Breakdown.
Steve Corman: And of course, I'll have your back when you face him. Who will TO'A have in his corner? The rest of the Shooters Club is over in WSW.
Steve and Damien shake hands before cutting back to ringside. Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is a CCW vs. AXW Match! Rory Hawkins steps out onto the stage. Salvatore Pellegrino: Introducing first, representing CCW, from Seneca, South Carolina, weighing in at 210 pounds, RORY HAWKINS! Rory walks down the ramp. He walks up the steps and climbs the turnbuckles where he raises his fist into the air, then enters the ring. LOVE... YOUR HATE... Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 221 pounds, "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE! Damien Steele makes no connection to any fans that might be throwing insults his way, almost as if he is only focused on the ring, and more specifically his opponent. YOUR... FAITH LOST... CCW vs. AXW vs. w11.zetaboards.com/TheCCW/index/Rory and Damien lock up. Damien straight up stomps on Rory's foot and takes him down with a short arm clothesline. Damien gets Rory in the corner and delivers numerous knee strikes to his gut, breaking at referee Brian Sullivan's count of four. Damien looks to keep on the attack but Rory kicks him in the face. Rory comes out of the corner and hits a flurry of strikes to Damien, punches, kicks, elbows, ending with a roundhouse kick. Rory sends Damien to the ropes and takes him down with a Japanese arm drag, Rory tries for an arm bar of sorts but Damien manages to scurry to the ropes and gets out of the ring for some composure. This doesn't last long as Rory comes through the ropes like a bullet for a suicide dive, both men crashing hard into the announce table, actually causing it to almost tip over onto Mike and Lily. Rory quickly gets inside the ring at the count of 9, not realizing that AXW has a 20 count. Damien rolls in at the count of 14, and gets kicked in the gut as Rory looks to set up his Double Underhook DDT, but Damien gets out of it and takes Rory down with a Falling Paroxysm. Damien hoists Rory onto his shoulders before planting him with an F-5. Damien hits the ropes as he looks to finish Rory with the Loony Stomp (Curb Stomp), but Rory gets out of dodge and takes Damien to the mat with a Belly-to-back suplex. Rory heads to the top rope and nails Damien with a missile dropkick. Damien is quick to get to his feet though, and looks to clothesline Rory, but Rory catches his arm and brings him to the mat and locks in an Omoplata Crossface! Damien scratches and claws and manages to grab the bottom rope. Rory breaks and Damien uses the ropes to help him to his feet. Rory runs at Damien but Damien sends him over the top rope. Rory lands on the apron, and springboards into the ring looking for a clothesline but Damien gets out of the way. Rory crashes to the mat as Damien wastes no time hitting the 2nd City Sleeper (Boma Ye), knocking Rory out for the three count. Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, DAMIEN STEELE! Mike Vincent: Damien's first match since becoming a Steve Corman Guy, and he's successful. Lily Luna: He also has some momentum on his side as he heads into his match against TO'A at Breakdown. Mike Vincent: And of course a great showing by Rory Hawkins, who you can catch on CCW Rebellion on Monday Nights. "Miseria Cantare" plays throughout the arena as Damien rips his hand out of Sullivan's grasp. Damien exits the arena, soaking in the boos from the crowd. "Second Sucks" by A Day to Remember plays and out walks Toa with the towel, drenched in blood, wrapped around his neck. He is staring down on the ground and listening to the boos and cheers coming from the fans. "FIGHT" Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from the Isle of Samoa, weighing in at 280 pounds, "Samoan Executioner" TO'A! Once he hears the opening line, he starts walking down the ramp, still not showing his face. When he walks up the steel steps and enters the ring, he throws the towel on the ground and does a battle cry. LOVE... YOUR HATE... The showdown between ex-Shooter siblings “The Vicious One” Damien Steele and “The Samoan Executioner” TO’A flares up immediately. TO’A manages to snap off a Scoop Powerslam combined with a Crucifix Armbar. Being Steele’s cornerman, Steve Corman casually pushes the northern bottom rope by stretching out his arms. This allows Damien just enough leverage for him to break the hold while avoiding referee detection. TO’A maintains his grip until the referee counts 4. Without hesitation, he slashes his throat at Corman before connecting with a gigantic Gargoyle Suplex. Steele tries shaking the cobwebs out of his cranium while “The Icon” starts jaw-jacking with “The Samoan Executioner.” Damien Steele rolls onto the northern ring apron and pulls off a Slingshot Stunner to a distracted TO’A. With his opponent charging, “The Vicious One” scores with a Pele Kick to TO’A’s temple before hitting a Fisherman’s DDT/Cradle pinning combination. “The Samoan Executioner” does not have the wherewithal to kick out before 2. Damien goes for an Inverted Frankensteiner, but gets trapped in a brutal Muscle Buster by his opponent. TO’A tries for a cover, but Corman decides to lay TO’A’s right boot on the western bottom rope as the referee notices in between counting 2 and 3. Steele rolls back to the northern ring apron, clutching it as the referee moves TO’A away. While the official is merely performing his assigned duties, he inadvertently is assisting Damien as “The Vicious One” springboards off and connects with a Clothesline. Steele doubles down with a Springboard Moonsault utilizing the southern-facing top rope. He tries for the trifecta with a Springboard Knee Strike off the eastern-facing top rope, but gets snatched up in a Samoan Drop. “The Samoan Executioner” then performs another throat slash prior to attempting to apply a Coquina Clutch. “The Vicious One” gets enough bearings to bust out an Asai DDT as well as his patented Looney Stomp from an eastern direction. TO’A’s practically unconscious at this point when Steve Corman tells Steele to hit the 2nd City Sleeper. “The Samoan Executioner” is the one who’s head must feel like it’s been struck by a guillotine after colliding with Damien’s right knee and shin. “The Vicious One” Damien Steele makes the cover. 1… 2… 3!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, DAMIEN STEELE!
Mike Vincent: Damien wins, but not without some help from Steve Corman.
Cole Haywood: Being a Steve Corman Guy has its perks. What did Damien ever get by being a Shooter?
Chris Pierce: I'm gonna have to agree with Cole here. Steve Corman will elevate Damien Steele.
"Miseria Cantare" plays through out the arena as Steve Corman enters the ring and raises Damien's hand, with his foot planted firmly on TO'A's chest.
LOVE... YOUR HATE... Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Jack Adams and Caitlin Shay, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 221 pounds, "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE! YOU... ARE NOW... ONE... OF US... Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent till he reaches the top step and wipes his feet before entering the ring never taking his eyes off his opponent. vs. “The Samoan Executioner” walks into the ring cognizant he’s competing in an unofficial handicap match since two Steve Corman protégés flank Damien Steele’s corner. “The Last Real Man Alive” Jack Adams in particular circles around the arena floor like a shark while Caitlin Shay rests her elbows on the southern apron. Our referee for this bout signals the timekeeper after conducting a thorough foreign object inspection of both combatants. “The Vicious One” appears more agitated during the rigmarole than does TO’A. Steele tries going for a Clothesline but gets dropped with a Warrior Slam from his bitter rival. “The Samoan Executioner” follows up by cranking on an STF, but Steele manages to grab the western bottom ring rope for a break. There isn’t a clean break as TO’A stomps twice at Damien before the referee attempts to jostle him away to little avail. “The Vicious One” grabs a hold of the western ring ropes to pull himself back to a vertical base when he’s caught in a Gargoyle Suplex. Steele bounces back up and manages to create some separation with a Swinging Enzuigiri making him stumble northward. Damien then rolls out onto the southern ring apron, grabs a hold of the top rope, and busts out a Springboard Clothesline. The maneuver causes TO’A to stumble but not topple over completely. Caitlin Shay climbs onto the southern ring apron when the referee tells her to step down. She proceeds to distract the referee long enough for Jack Adams to connect with one crushing blow. Considering old-school professional wrestling logic dictates a Samoan’s head is invulnerable to attack, Adams decides to not go for a Knee Trembler and instead a Running Arched Boot. “The Last Real Man Alive” surmises it’ll be enough impact to cause him to lose balance and thus fall over. Adams connects clean running west to east and back outside without our scheduled official being the wiser. To further misdirect, Caitlin Shay claims the referee should unhand her despite having more than a ring rope between them and he’s only pointing at her. “The Vicious One” then climbs the northeastern turnbuckle and pulls out a phenomenal Phoenix Splash. Between not being able to protect himself from Adams’ boot combined with the aerial assault, TO’A gets pinned in short order but again some fans claim the official might have counted fast. Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, DAMIEN STEELE! The cameras return to ringside, where we see the ring ropes replaced with barbed wire. Jen Brunelli: This next contest is a Death Match set for one fall! “Second Sucks” by A Day To Remember brings out the ferocious and deadly TOA to a loud ovation from the crowd, the proud warrior paying no mind to the crowd from under his bloody towel. Jen Brunelli: Introducing first, from the Isle of Samoa, weighing in at 280 pounds, "Samoan Exectutioner" TO'A! He stops at the bottom of the ramp, tossing the towel down and letting out a battle cry as the crowd already begins a “TOA’S GONNA KILL YOU” chant, The Samoan Executioner awaiting his rival with an ice cold stare towards the top of the ramp. “Miseria Cantare” by AFI brings out the ultra cocky and smug Damien Steele to a chorus of boos, as he even shakes his head at the crowd still chanting for his destruction. Jen Brunelli: And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 221 pounds, "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE! In his “Steve Corman Guy” t-shirt, Damien stops and hops to the side, reaching down and picking up a kendo stick, admiring it as he then charges down towards TOA with it, who grabs Steele by the throat and delivering an exploder suplex sending Steele crashing into the steel steps! Upside down, a dazed Steele gets a STIFF kick to the face that even some of the crowd groan at the sound of as TOA lets out another battle cry, picking up a steel step and dropping in onto the prone Steele. Referee Shane Gates checks on Steele, but is pushed aside by TOA he tosses Steele under the barbwire ropes, Steele’s shirt getting ripped a bit in the process. TOA scales the turnbuckle and jumps down, avoiding the barbwire as a dazed Steele staggers to his feet only to get locked in a Coquina Clutch! Steele violently thrashes, trying to get free, then delivers a low blow to TOA to boos from the crowd to create separation. Steele clears the cobwebs, a look of pure fury in his eyes. Steele begins teeing off on TOA with stiff kicks, followed by a swinging enziguri that lights TOA up as Steele scrambles for a cover, getting a quick two count. Steele stays on the offensive, getting a Northern Lights suplex with a pinning bridge for another near fall. Steele slides under, his shirt ripping again, grabbing a steel chair and another kendo stick, tossing them both into the ring. Climbing the corner post, Steele avoids the barbwire and tries for the kendo stick yet again, this time getting it kicked out of his hand and then snatched up and dropped with a thunderous Samoan drop! TOA wastes no time in ripping Steele’s shirt off, lighting him up with chops and stiff kicks, knocking him into the bottom portion of the barbwire, literally choking Steele by a foot to the back of his neck on the barbwire! Steele is holding his throat as TOA hoists him up in a Muscle Buster, dropping him. TOA could go for the pin, but doesn’t, yanking Steele up by his hair as Steele hits a jawbreaker, staggering TOA back. Steele runs TOA’s head over the barbwire, cutting the big man open, further emphasizing that point with a STIFF chair shot to the skull. Steele stands proud with the dented chair before finally lighting up TOA with the kendo stick. Steele finds a way to get TOA in a tree of toe, climbing up top and hitting a double foot stomp. Clapping his hands together for a job well done, Steele goes for a pin, but TOA kicks out. Steele throws a forearm over the face of TOA and tries again, but again TOA kicks out, Steele yelling at Gates to count faster. Steele steadies himself and tries for a buckle bomb, then clubs TOA in the back some more, positioning him by the middle of the barbwire ropes, but TOA delivers a low blow, catching Steele in another exploder suplex, tossing him into the barbwire as Steele cries out in pain, his hair tangled in the barbwire! With a sick smirk TOA runs and delivers a Samoan Wrecking Ball, hip checking hard into Steele as he actually falls to the floor, pieces of his hair still in the barbwire! TOA climbs up top and sees Steele on the floor, crying out before leaping with a senton splash crashing onto Steele! TOA is slow to get up as well, dragging Steele over to the announce table. TOA grabs Steele by the legs in a wheelbarrow spot, kicking Steele in the groin! Steele is in agony as TOA scoop slams him onto the announce table. TOA removes the monitors and then reaches under the ring, pulling out a barbwire bat. If this isn’t bad enough, TOA then pushes a button as the bat ignites into flames! Steele’s eyes are wide as he sees this bat as TOA tries smashing him with it, hitting the announce table as the flame goes out to the dismay of the crowd. Steele tries to run, but TOA catches him, slamming his head into the announce table several times, before grabbing him from behind the head and grating the steel from the barbwire across the head of Damien, blood flowing from a large cut on the young man’s head! TOA puts the barbwire bat and Steele, prone, on the announce table. Climbing up, TOA makes a slit throat motion, looking for an Island Driver, but Steele delivers a low blow with the barbwire bat as the crowd groans in agony. Steele wastes no time doing the seemingly thinkable, hitting a leaping Steele Dragon to TOA as both men crash through the announce table! The crowd erupts in a HUGE “Holy Shit!” chant as both men lay prone on the floor! The crowd erupts in cheers as Justin Wyndham walks out onto the stage. Mike Vincent: Oh my god! Justin Wyndham is back! Lily Luna: We haven't seen him in two months! Cole Haywood: Yeah, but why is he here? Justin walks around to the two men laying on the floor. He kneels down next to TO'A and tries to get him to his feet, talking to him in the process, but we can't hear what he's saying. TO'A gets to his feet and shoves his former best friend away as he hobbles to the ring, carefully entering under the bottom barbed wire rope. Justin follows him in and continues to try to talk to him. TO'A, who is more conscious than he was a few seconds ago, seems to ask him why he's out here. With the two exchanging words, Damien takes the time to strike by coming off with a dropkick off the top turnbuckle, hitting TO'A in the back with TO'A falling onto and crushing Justin. Damien then drives TO'A headfirst into the mat with a Loony Stomp as Shane Gates counts to three. Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, DAMIEN STEELE! Mike Vincent: A lot of questions need to be answered. Lily Luna: Despite a recent rough history, it seems like Justin wasn't intentionally trying to sabotage TO'A. Cole Haywood: What difference does it make? The only thing that matters is Damien Steele proved without a shadow of a doubt that he is more superior than TO'A. "Miseria Cantare" echoes throughout the arena as Damien Steele is happy about his win. He leaves the ring as Justin tends to TO'A, even asking for the ring side physician to take a look at him. Jen Brunelli: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Main Event! It is a Six Person Tag Team Match set for one fall! PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT! The lights in the arena all cut to black and the Tron comes to life, pulsating with a green light as a quiet beat gets louder with every flash. The stage fills with smoke and the crowd rises to their feet, cheering loudly, as the smoke clears on the stage and a man in a dark green trenchcoat stands, head down, facing the Tron. He raises his hands and snaps his fingers, causing four loud bursts of pyro to ignite, two on each side of him, before spinning around Y2J style to reveal David Slayton! Jen Brunelli: Introducing first, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, weighing in at 245 pounds, "The New Hotness" DAVID SLAYTON! Cross walks and crossed hearts and hope-to-dies Silver clouds with grey linings So we can take the world back from the heart-attacked One maniac at a time we will take it back You know time crawls on when you're waiting for the song to start So dance alone to the beat of your heart His sunglasses shining with the glare from the arena lights, David looks to the left, then to the right, nodding towards the crowd before walking down the ramp. After stopping to slap hands with a few fans, David moves towards the ring steps and hops up and down a few times in front of them before quickly racing up the steps to the apron side facing the stage. He stops and pulls his sunglasses off, then tosses them behind his head into the crowd before leaning down and stepping through the ropes to enter the ring. Hey young blood Doesn't it feel like our time is running out? I'm gonna change you like a remix Then I'll raise you like a phoenix You're wearing our vintage misery No, I think it looked a little better on me I'm gonna change you like a remix Then I'll raise you like a phoenix David walks across the ring and leaps up onto the second rope in the corner nearest the timekeeper, then pulls off his green trenchcoat and tosses it towards the timekeeper. David smirks and points to the fans, then slaps his chest a few times and points up towards the sky, closing his eyes and saying a short prayer. David leaps down from the corner and immediately turns to sit down in the same corner, ala Raven. David then rests his head on the second turnbuckle pad as his theme fades and the crowd continues cheering. "Remedy" by Seether blasts out throughout the arena as ‘The Titan’ Crash Jackson walks out to the top of the ramp. He bounces from foot to foot psyching himself up for his match. He tenses his body up and then throws his arms out to either side and lets out a mighty roar while a small pyrotechnics display goes on right behind him. He starts making his way down to the ring slapping hands with some of the fans on his way. Jen Brunelli: And his partners, first, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 258 pounds, "The Titan" CRASH JACKSON! Crash slides in under the bottom ropes to enter the ring. He goes over to a turnbuckle and climbs to the second rope. He beats on his chest with a clenched fist and then throws the same fist up into the air, oozing with pure intensity as he yells out to the crowd. Crash jumps down from there and readies himself in his corner to start the match. The lights in the arena go out, one by one, until the entire arena is blanketed in complete darkness. A few seconds pass of this, the crowd cheering loudly, eagerly awaiting whatever is going to come next. The JumboTron comes to life with a neon pink butterfly, slowly flapping its wings against darkness. With every flap of its wings, the arena lights pulse. The flapping gets faster and faster, until finally, the butterfly explodes into glitter. When it does, a stage-wide blast of pink and purple pyro explodes across the stage and as the screen fills with the words "Stutterfly" Starla Gardevoir, "Endless Possibility" by Jaret Reddick begins playing over the sound system! This is my escape I'm running through this world And I'm not looking back The crowd explodes in a flurry of cheers as Starla Gardevoir struts onto the stage and points to the crowd, grinning. She moves to each side of the stage, posing for the fans, then comes back to the center of the stage before dropping to one knee and posing as a shower of pink pyro begins falling behind her! Jen Brunelli: And from Panama City, Florida, she is the AXW Champion, "Stutterfly" STARLA GARDEVOIR! 'Cause I know I can go Where no one's ever gone And I'm not looking back Starla stands up, still grinning from ear to ear, and then quickly bounds down the ramp, slapping fan's hands along the way. Towards the bottom of the ramp, she stops and turns back to the stage, then poses with her back to the ring. Starla turns back and laughs, then makes her way around ringside, high-fiving fans as she goes. But how will I know when I get there? And how will I know when to leave? We've all got to start from somewhere It's like that for me The possibilities are never ending After a quick trip around the ring, Starla runs towards the ring apron facing the stage and leaps up, turning in midair and sliding from one side of the apron to the other on one knee. Starla stands up and steps over the second rope, then leans in slowly, showcasing her butt for the cheering male fans before entering the ring completely. I see it, I see it And now it's all within my reach Endless possibility I see it, I see it now It's always been inside of me And now I feel so free Endless possibility Starla then heads up to the top of the nearest turnbuckle and poses once more. With the fans still cheering, Starla does a backflip off the top rope and lands on her feet, then walks over to the corner across the ring and leans against it, rolling her head back and forth as the music fades. An ice blue hue descends on the stage, “Playing The Saint” by Digital Summer blaring as a spade of the same color is shown on the ramp, Aries emerging with his back to us, clad in a denim jacket with the same spade on fire printed on the back, his arms crossed. Pyros explode on either side as Aries then spins around, his arms still crossed, head cocked in a smug grin. Aries then takes a confident stride towards the ring, eyes not off the ring from under his ice blue tinted Aviator shades. Jen Brunelli: And their opponents, first, representing the Alliance of Truth, from San Diego, California, weighing in at 238 pounds, "The Wild Card" DUNCAN ARIES! Aries climbs the steps and walks the apron, looking out onto the crowd before tossing his shades to a lucky fan, entering the ring, pumped up, tossing off his jacket and delivering some shadow punches and kicks as his music fades. The crowd reacts with overall boos and jeers, but there is the small population of fans, for either nostalgia or just plain assholes, that cheer and do the hero worship wave, wearing Icon Merch. Jen Brunelli: And his partners, first, from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 275 pounds, "The Icon" STEVE CORMAN! Big Stevie Cool walks out dressed in his classic BSC ring attire, black shiny side lace up pants and a black wrestling tank with "BSC" on the front. As well as a black elbow pad on his right elbow with "ICON" written in gold across it. He stops to look around the arena and the boos being thrown in his direction. Corman makes it very clear to the fans that “all of this” is because of Him. He smiles his cocky smile, then double thumb points to himself, taps his right index finger on his temple and slowly pans his left hand, index finger extended, around the arena; indicating that he’s smarter than each and every one of them, then Corman slowly raises his arms over his head, making the trademark Highrollers hand gesture (basically the wolfpack, while moving his thumbs around in the international sign for MONEY). He makes his way to the ring, as the A-Hole High Rollers fans cheer and do the "Icon" worship wave as Corman nods, points, and smiles at the camera. He climbs the stairs, planting each foot, and walks across the apron. Jen walks over and holds open the ropes as Corman enters the ring. Corman smirks and again repeats the High Rollers hand gesture by the ropes. LOVE... YOUR HATE... Jen Brunelli: And representing the Steve Corman Guys, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 221 pounds, "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE! YOU... ARE NOW... ONE... OF US... Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent till he reaches the top step and wipes his feet before entering the ring never taking his eyes off his opponent. vs. Six Person Tag TeamCrash Jackson starts against Duncan Aries. They lock up with Crash Biel Throwing Aries to the mat. Duncan gets to his feet and is met with a Discus Clothesline from Crash. Crash continues his offense with a vertical suplex. Crash lifts Duncan up for The Demolisher (Dangerous Uranagi Slam). Crash follows up with a Belly To Belly Suplex No Release x2 Followed by an Overhead Belly To Belly Suplex. Duncan tags out to Steele, with Duncan saying screw it and leaving the arena entirely. Damien comes in and gets knocked silly by a Smash Mouthed (Bullhammer) from Crash. Crash lifts Damien for a suplex but drops him across the knee for a backbreaker. Crash brings Damien to his corner where Starla tags herself in. Starla grabs Damien by the head and runs up the turnbuckles for a Sliced Bread #2. Starla runs the ropes and is thwarted as Damien hits a side kick to the gut, followed by a Swinging Enzuigiri. Damien slams Starla down with a Northern Lights Suplex. He continues his onslaught with a Falcon Arrow. Damien runs the ropes and Starla manages to catch him with a Spinning Sidewalk Slam. Starla looks to tag out but Damien stops her with a German suplex sending her towards Corman. Damien lifts Starla onto his shoulders and plants her with an F-5. Damien tags in Corman. Corman picks Starla up and whips her into her team's corner, prompting David Slayton to tag himself in. David runs in and is taken to the mat with a series of punches from Corman. David tries to fight back and throws a kick but Steve catches it for a Leg Hook Chokeslam. Steve drives David to the mat with a Snapmare Driver. Steve connects with Triple German Suplexes, and plants David to the mat with a Front Spinebuster. Steve removes his elbow pad and tosses it into the crowd as he climbs to the top turnbuckle. He dives off looking for the Superstar Elbow (Test-esk flying elbow), but David gets out of the way. David starts to crawl towards his team's corner, but Crash and Starla are both pulled from the apron and tossed into the barricade by Jack Adams and Ethan Cutler. Senior Official Matt Baker doesn't see this as he's pre-occupied with the mastermind Steve Corman, who is feigning an injury. Steve quickly drops the charade after Ethan and Jack do their work and tags in Damien. David is back to his feet and is ready to fight Damien, but Damien hits a low dropkick, causing David to hit the mat face-first. Damien quickly follows up by running the ropes and executing the Loony Stomp! Jen Brunelli: Here are your winners, the team of Damien Steele, Steve Corman, and Duncan Aries! Lily Luna: It may have been a tag match with some distractions, but regardless, Damien Steele just pinned the longest reigning AXW Champion in David Slayton. Chris Pierce: He has a bright future, hence him becoming the first Steve Corman Guy. I'm also sure Duncan Aries will be happy he technically walks away with a win despite leaving towards the beginning of the match. Ethan Cutler and Jack Adams enter the ring. From left to right stands Damien, Ethan, Steve, and Jack. Ethan and Steve stand with their arms raised, with Damien and Jack ghost-belting them, insinuating they will be the next Xperience and AXW Champions, respectively. Lily Luna: That's all for tonight, next stop is Austin, Texas for Collide! Good night ladies and gentlemen! We're in a locker room, presumably the one of the Steve Corman Guys, where Damien Steele is standing, his hair in his face.
Damien Steele: Deimos...
He laughs.
Damien Steele: Nothing more than a CHUMP to me. Sure, he got a fluke win over me, but who was really standing tall after the match? Other people have tried to take down Deimos, but they couldn't. What separates me from them is that I am Damien Steele. I'm sure Deimos will want his revenge, and I say, bring it. I will put you back in your place: which is a dog house behind my mansion.
Damien chuckles before we go back to ringside.

Standing in the center of this appropriately named Death Match, it is certainly worth noting that Damien Steele is showing no fear going up against the monster known as Deimos. The bell rings and this was is underway, Deimos throwing a strong lariat, which is ducked as Damien throws everything he can into some STIFF kicks, which back Deimos up. Steele throws some knees and elbows into the mix, but Deimos simply shoves Steele down, seemingly unaffected by the early barrage from the brash superstar.
Steele is undeterred and tries again, Deimos absorbing some more stiff kicks, but Steele makes a crucial mistake and tries for a roundhouse kick as Deimos snatches his smaller opponent up and delivers a T-Bone suplex that nearly folds Steele up like an accordion into the corner as the crowd groans!
Steele staggers to his feet and is met with what is known as a ballistic punching combo, as hard rights, lefts, and clubbing blows to the chest and midsection, bounce Steele around like a ping bong ball before Deimos snatches Steele and spins, driving him into the mat with a thunderous spinebuster! Matt Baker, who is just there to make the cover, thinks Deimos is going to, but the monster shakes his head, yanking Steele up by his hair, only to get a low blow sending the mighty Deimos to his knees. Steele spits in the face of his opponent and hits a STIFF Pele Kick! The crowd is split, but there are some noticeable cheers for Steele!
Steele yells “This is it! This is the end of the monster!” Steele steadies himself on the turnbuckle as Deimos staggers up, leaping off with a high knee, only to be clutched in a bearhug, getting squeezed tight, before getting thrown like a rag doll into the barbwire!
Steele is hanging by his hair as well as his right arm, all of this wrapped around the barbwire as Steele cries out in pain, until finally he falls to the apron. Deimos wastes no time and goes to grab Steele, holding him back first against the barbwire, pounding on his chest with HARD clubbing blows that take the wind out of Steele while also lacerating his back! Deimos pushes Steele from the outside as Steele crashes hard into the barricade, like dead weight collapsed onto it! The crowd is booing Deimos, but many more are just in awe of the carnage in this match already!
Looking pleased, Deimos heads to the outside, unconcerned with the barbwire ripping at his shirt and lifts the seemingly lifeless Steele from the barricade. Deimos turns and looks to want to use Steele as a lawn dart for the steel post, but Damien slides back and pushes Deimos into the post instead! With Deimos staggered, Steele lifts the steel steps and rams them into the skull of Deimos, taking him down to a knee. Enraged, Steele grabs the timekeeper’s bell and clocks the monster with that, taking him down!
Steele is on top of Deimos, delivering rights and lefts before he’s pushed off by the monster. Deimos gets to a knee as Steele tries for a shining wizard but before he can, Deimos explodes from his spot with a lariat that sends Damien spinning into the air before crashing hard onto the floor!
Deimos, fuming sends Salvatore Pellegrino scurrying and takes his chair, folding it up as he begins thrashing Damien Steele in the back with it..ONCE! TWICE! THREE TIMES! Deimos continues, until after 7 chair shots a twisted and dented chair is tossed to the ground by the monster!
Deimos rolls what seems to remain of Damien Steele back into the ring. Stalking around the ring, the monster also heaves the steel steps into the ring. The crowd is going crazy as Deimos then looks under the ring, slinging a bag over his shoulder before returning to the ring!
With a sinister grin, Deimos takes the bag from his shoulder, dumping it’s contents, hundreds of THUMBTACKS, onto the mat! Satisfied, Deimos tosses the empty bag away, yanking Steele once again by the hair and bringing him onto the steel steps with him. Deimos goes for a powerbomb, but Steele sinks down and delivers his second low blow of the match! Steele then fires off a super kick with as much power as he can muster in the small space of the steel steps as Deimos staggers, swings, and finally falls back RIGHT ONTO THE THUMBTACKS as the crowd explodes into a frenzy!
Steele looks down at his handy work with a smirk, before turning to the crowd, extending his arms out, yelling “ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?” before shrugging and hitting a diving moonsault right onto Deimos! Steele yells at Baker to make the cover and the ref does so, 1..2..3!!
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, DAMIEN STEELE!
Mike Vincent: Damien Steele has done it, a brutal match, but he comes out victorious against the monster Deimos.
Cole Haywood: Of course he did, this is his match and on top of that, he's a Steve Corman Guy! He can beat anyone at any given time especially in a Death Match.
Lily Luna: Damien Steele has been a staple in AXW since arriving on the scene two years ago, and he's not gonna let Deimos stop him as he continues to Rise.
Chris Pierce: This win tonight could certainly elevate Steele back to a title picture, that's for sure.
Steele picks a few tacks from his elbow, his head and back with some cuts and bruises as he has his hand raised in victory. Steele looks down at the motionless Deimos, covered in tacks before heading to the backstage area.
"Dammit" plays and out walk Sam De Santa and Trent Mathews. Sam stops on the stage and places her hand on her hip. Trent steps in front of her and drops to his knees, extending his arms out as pyro rains down behind them. Once the pyro stops, Trent stands up and the two make their way down the ramp. Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, accompanied by Sam De Santa, from Owasco, New York, weighing 217 pounds, TRENT MATHEWS! Trent slides into the ring while Sam walks up the steps. Trent steps onto the middle turnbuckle, looking around at the fans. Sam stands in the ring, extending her arms towards Trent, as if telling the fans to bas in the glory that is Trent Mathews. Trent steps down and holds his arms back, allowing Sam to remove his leather jacket. Sam steps out to the apron, hangs the jacket from the ring post, and walks down the steps, while Trent readies himself for the match. LOVE... YOUR HATE... Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing 221 pounds, "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE! YOU... ARE NOW... ONE... OF US... Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent till he reaches the top step and wipes his feet before entering the ring never taking his eyes off his opponent. Steele and Trent lock up. Trent gets Steele in a side headlock. Steele backs Trent back to the ropes, where Trent is forced to break. Steele throws punches at Trent, fully utilizing the five count. Steele sends Trent off to the opposite ropes where Trent bounces back with a Leg Lariat. Steele gets right back up to be take right back down with a Jumping Calf Kick. Trent sends Steele to the corner and stays behind him the whole way to hit the Swinging Corner Clothesline. Steele slumps to a seated position an Trent swings his legs back to the ring and runs the ropes to hit Steele with a Running Face Wash. Trent brings Steele out of the corner with a T-Bone Suplex for a two count. Trent heads to the top rope, but Steele pulls him off and plants him to the mat with an F-5. Trent rolls out to the apron and Steele follows him, lifting him up for a Falling Paroxysm on the apron! Steele re-enters the ring and runs the ropes for momentum. He's about to dive out of the ring when Trent pulls Sam in front of him, which causes Steele to stop. Steele then decides screw it and tries again, diving out with a No Hands Space Flying Tigersault, with Trent pushing Sam out of the way and him taking all the impact. Steele rolls Trent back in and slides in after. Sam climbs onto the apron, distracting Steele. Trent rolls Steele up, but Steele rolls all the way through back to his feet, swiftly jumping up, driving Trent's skull to the mat with the Loony Stomp. Damien stares a hole through Sam as he pins Trent. Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, DAMIEN STEELE! Mike Vincent: Things haven't been good for Trent Mathews lately, losing the Light Heavyweight Championship at Rise, then he couldn't even use Sam De Santa to his advantage tonight. Cole Haywood: Damien Steele was the first pioneer of the Light Heavyweight Division, and went on to beat the monster Deimos at Rise. As much as I like both these guys, Damien Steele is on a whole other level than Trent Mathews. Damien Steele exits the ring, backing up the ramp as he looks at the fallen Trent and Sam De Santa who's looking on at him in disgust. Sam checks on Trent as we head to commercial.
The opening chords of "The Right Direction" by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus rolls throughout the arena. There’s a fountain of pyro at the three second mark as the song hits. Three spotlights shine and revolve around as if searching for someone, and the fans are on their feet, cheering in anticipation for the hero they know is coming. The two lock up. Steele ends up kneeing Gabe in the gut several times, and gets him cornered where he continues a barrage of strikes. Steele sends Gabe to the opposite corner and stays right behind him, hitting a dropkick. Steele continues his turnbuckle based offense with a Buckle Bomb that gets him a two count. Steele slams Gabe down with a Falcon Arrow, then ascends to the top rope for a Diving Knee Drop, earning another two count. Steele goes to the ropes and looks for a Springboard Moonsault, but Gabe gets his knees up. Gabe now enters offense as he sends Steele to the ropes to deliver the Pop Up Flapjack/Shining Wizard Combo. After an unsuccessful two count, Gabe executes an STO Backbreaker into Neckbreaker. Gabe drops Steele to the mat with a Scoop Slam then heads to the apron, where he comes back in with I'm a Bird, Mother F**ker! (Springboard Leg Drop From Apron). Steele manages to get back to his feet but only to receive a Cannon Ball (Similar to the Codebreaker, but Gabe's knees are in his opponents chest). Gabe starts to lift Steele up for The reVolt (Cradle Shock), but Steele slips through and rolls Gabe up, another two count. Steele lifts Gabe up for an F-5. Steele plants Gabe with a Falling Paroxysm, then sets Gabe up on the top rope. Steele looks to deliver a Steele Dragon (Leaping Avalanche Frankensteiner), but Gabe manages to reverse it into a Jersey Bomb (Top Rope Sit Down Powerbomb), which gets a very close two count. Gabe sort of stalks Steele, waiting for him to get up. This is when Jack Adams climbs onto the apron. Gabe approaches him and Jack hops off. Damien then takes advantage with a school boy roll-up, but instead of doing the pin, hits him with the Avada Kedavra. Steele drives Gabe face first into the mat with the Loony Stomp, and this one is over.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, DAMIEN STEELE!
Mike Vincent: A distraction from Jack Adams gives Damien Steele some momentum as he looks to win the Light Heavyweight Championship at Anarchy.
Cole Haywood: I didn't see nothin' other than Damien Steele cleanly defeating Gabe Shelley.
The Steve Corman Guys stand tall to end the show.
Mike Vincent: That's all we have for you, tune in next week as we head to the last stop before Anarchy!
At the seven second mark, the hooded figure steps from behind the curtain and through the pyro looking down. The song builds to the fourteen second mark as he throws his hood back and arms out, fired up, as there’s a loud pop of orange and white pyro from the stage. He flips the hood back once again and makes finger guns at the camera and fires with a wink. "Remedy" by Seether plays of the P.A. system as the camera pans over the arena stopping at the entrance way as Danny Hall, sporting a fur vest, strolls down to the ring stopping sometimes to yell at children, Salvatore Pellegrino: His partner, from Camden, Tennessee, weighing in at 220 pounds, he is the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, BWF Chaos Theory Champion, and "Mr. Most Hated" DANNY HALL! then when he gets to the ring he rolls under the bottom rope to sit in the corner then he stands up.....in the corner. "Too Drunk to Fuck" by the Dead Kennedys kicks in as a smirking Jack Adams comes jogging out from the back. He looks at the crowd, laughing to himself as he walks to the ring, all the while Adams is goading the fans and prevoking them, daring them to punch him, before feigning punching them himself. Generally, just being a bully. Salvatore Pellegrino: Their opponents are representing the Steve Corman Guys, introducing first, from Fort Payne, Alabama, weighing in at 230 pounds, he is "The Last Real Man" JACK ADAMS! Adams slides into the ring and being the dick he is, just yells to the hard camera "LAST REAL MAN ALIVE!" The lights all go out and "Miseria Cantare" by AFI starts as a single spotlight shines on the entrance as Damien Steele is standing in the entrance hair in front of his face as at the 45 second mark of the song. Damien flips his hair back and starts to walk down to the ring, as the words of the song start. LOVE... YOUR HATE... Salvatore Pellegrino: From Chicago, Illinois, weighing 221 pounds, he is "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE! Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent till he reaches the top step and wipes his feet before entering the ring never taking his eyes off his opponent. Jack Adams and Gabe Shelley begin the match. The two circle the ring completely and Jack tags in Steele. Shelley shrugs his shoulders in dismay, while Jack has a sly smile across his face. Shelley and Steele tie up, with Steele getting a headlock, then Shelley shoving him off into the ropes. Steele tries a clothesline, but Shelley sidesteps and dropkicks Steele instead. Both men back to their feet, Steele charges and Shelley catches him for a belly to back suplex! Again, both men back to their feet, though Steele is slow to get up and Shelley lifts him up for a scoop slam, then tags in Danny Hall! Hall delivers a running knee to Steele as he’s getting up, then goes for the pin: 2 count. Hall pulls Steele back to his feet and Steele thumbs him in the eye, but the ref misses it, and Steele quickly capitalizes with a Falcon Arrow! Steele drops an elbow to Hall’s chest, then drags him to Adams and makes the tag. Adams drops down and delivers punches, then wrenches Hall’s head with a headlock on the mat. Hall is able to fight back to his feet, but Adams delivers a knee to the gut and a delayed suplex. Then, Adams begins to pull his knee pad down, but when he goes for the knee trembler, Hall ducks it and dives to tag in Shelley! Shelley comes in and clotheslines Adams, knocks Steele off the apron, another clothesline to Adams, and he shows the fans that he’s feeling it with a primal yell! He goes for the Jersey Cutter (Twist of Fate), but Adams shoves him off, directly into the ref. Shelley is able to catcht he ref and keep from hurting him, but it was all the advantage Adams and Steele needed. A tag is made behind Shelley’s back, and the ref sees it. Adams goes for a clothesline, but Shelley ducks it, only for Steele to hit him with a springboard knee strike to the back of the head! Planted face-first on the ground, Steele sees his opportunity, and hits Shelley with the Loony Stomp (Blackout), followed by the three count on the pin while Adams keeps Hall from breaking the count. Salvatore Pellegrino: Here are your winners, THE STEVE CORMAN GUYS! Mike Vincent: Steele and Adams pick up the momentum as they head into Anarchy. Cole Haywood: Did you expect anything different? Steele and Adams have teamed before, they ride with each other, and of course have the tutelage of Steve Corman. On the other hand, Danny Hall doesn't even know how to spell Gabe Shelley's name. Damien Steele and Jack Adams have their hands raised. They exit the ring with Damien backing up the ramp, ghost belting, with Jack pointing at him saying "Next Light Heavyweight champ!"
PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT! The lights in the arena all cut to black and the Tron comes to life, pulsating with a green light as a quiet beat gets louder with every flash. Salvatore Pellegrino: This tag team contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing the first team of Tru Revolution, first, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, weighing in at 245 pounds, here is "The New Hotness" DAVID SLAYTON! Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent till he reaches the top step and wipes his feet before entering the ring never taking his eyes off his opponent. vs. Shelley and Steele begin the match, furiously trading blows. Shelley gains the edge and wraps Steele up for a belly to back suplex! He locks in an armbreaker, but Steele fights to his feet, shoves Shelley into the ropes, and hits a dropkick on him. Steele beats Shelley to his feet and hits a northern lights suplex, then a pin and kickout. Steele tags in Adams, starts with some knife edge chops before a delayed suplex. Then, a running low knee to the breadbasket, before pulling Shelley up for a guillotine neckbreaker. Adams wrenches in a headlock. After a while, Shelley fights back and out of it, lifting Adams off the ground for a sidewalk slam! The two men are down in the middle of the ring and the race to each corner begins, with Shelley winning! In comes Slayton, with Steele just a second too late, and Slayton takes him down with a running forearm strike, then a short-arm clothesline! Adams tries to intervene, but Slayton lifts him up for a Samoan drop and connects with it! Steele is back up, but when he tries to attack Slayton, it’s much of the same: Slayton ducks his right and then counters Steele with an exploder suplex! Slayton plays it up to the crowd, then grabs Steele, only for Adams to attack from the side! The ref tries to pull Adams off and Steele pokes Slayton in the eye. Shelley, seeing this, enters the ring himself, and the ref immediately looks to stop him. Steele delivers a devastating low blow. Slayton is keeled over, and Steele, to his feet, hits him with the Loony Stomp (Blackout)! The pin comes in, while Adams, who had snuck up behind Shelley, grabs him by the legs to keep him occupied. 1, 2, 3! Salvatore Pellegrino: Here are your winners, THE STEVE CORMAN GUYS! Mike Vincent: I'll admit that Steele and Adams are great athletes, but I don't understand why they need to resort to underhanded tactics so often. Cole Haywood: I didn't see nothin' other than Damien Steele once again pinning a former AXW Champion. Adams and Steele exit the ring, holding up each other's hands as they back up the ramp. Shelley checks on Slayton and tries to inform the referee what happened, but to no avail.

Chris Pierce: I'm sure Steve Corman's tutelage has something to do with it. Meanwhile, Gabe Shelley is back to the drawing board. Damien has his arm raised before exiting the ring, walking up the ramp with his hair in his face.
Lily Luna: That's all for us, make sure you tune into ION for AXW 50!
Cameras cut backstage where Max Kilburne is standing by with Damien Steele.
Max Kilburne: Ladies and gentlemen I'm Max Kilburne and I'm joined by "The Vicious One" Damien Steele. A few questions for you, first off, how are you feeling despite not competing in a match tonight?
Damien Steele: I am a little upset by that. I should competing on every show this company has to offer. People aren't spending their money to see some washed up ex-lobster try to get his one last hoorah, they're paying to see Damien Steele. I mean, did anybody really care about AXW before I came along? On top of that, I'm the reason AXW even has a Light Heavyweight Championship. I'm not competing tonight but I should be. Or maybe Luke Mathews just thinks that I've done a fantastic job the past two or so years I've been here that he's given me the night off.
Max Kilburne: You brought up Bruiser Lazzou in passing there, will you be present for his match against AXW Champion Steve Corman?
Damien Steele: Of course I will be. I want the best seats in the house to watch Steve Corman put Lazzou out of his misery once and for all.
Max Kilburne: I have to ask, your relationship with Steve Corman is still doing well? You are the last remaining Steve Corman Guy after all.
Damien Steele: There's a reason why he picked me first. He knew I was more trustworthy than the others. I was the first chosen Corman Guy and I'm the last one here. Ethan Cutler couldn't be trusted. Caitlin Shay wanted to head to a developmental system for some reason, but I guess in the end, she belongs there doesn't she? And Jack Adams... I honestly never liked that guy in the first place. I'm glad he's gone. He wants to go back and relive his glory days with Jonathan Fhenix, aka the only time he was relevant.
Max Kilburne: You didn't quite answer the question.
Damien Steele: Yes, Max, our relationship is fine. Better than ever. Get it through your thick skull.
Max Kilburne: Thanks for the time, Damien, let's send it back to the ring for another title match.

Introducing first, wrestling out of Chicago, Illinois, weighing 228 pounds, "The Chicago Cyclone" CARL BENGLY! then he walks to the turnbuckle, and slaps it and slides into the ring. Damien flips his hair back and starts to walk down to the ring, as the words of the song start. LOVE... YOUR HATE... Jen Brunelli: His opponent, also wrestling out of Chicago, Illinois, weighing 221 pounds, he is "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE! YOU... ARE NOW... ONE... OF US... Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent till he reaches the top step and wipes his feet before entering the ring never taking his eyes off his opponent. The bigger Bengly backs Steele to the corner. Steele actually fights him off with some hard punches. Steele gets behind Bengly and lifts him for a Belly to Back Complete Shot. Steele slams Bengly to the canvas with a Northern Lights Suplex. Bengly gets to his feet clutching at his back and is rocked by a Swinging Enzuigiri. Bengly stumbles backwards before he is clotheslined out of the ring. Steele runs the ropes before diving out onto Bengly with a No Hands Space Flying Tigersault. Steele looks as if he's about to roll Bengly back into the ring, but gets another idea, and throws Bengly into the ring steps. Steele rips the top half of the steps off and throws them aside. He places Bengly over the bottom half, then climbs up onto the barricade. Steele jumps off and forces Bengly's face into the stairs with a Loony Stomp! Jessie McCormick raises the hand of Damien Steele and he snatches his arm away. Steele exits the ring and appears to do some more harm to Bengly, but the officials keep him away, and he he throws his arms forward and storms to the back.
Lily Luna: Thankfully Damien Steele listened to the officials and walked away... moving on, let's send it to Brad Adams.

Slayton would try From the Ashes (Frog Splash), but Steele rolls out of the way, and delivers the Loony Stomp to finish. Winner: Damien Steele (faces Steve Corman at Winterslam for the AXW Championship) The show concludes with Luke Mathews coming down to the ring and having Steele sign his name on the contract, making the match official. Luke leaves and Corman enters the ring, shaking hands with Steele, as at Winterslam we will see Steve Corman vs. the last remaining Steve Corman Guy, Damien Steele. We return to ringside where Matt Baker is stood in the middle of the ring, holding the AXW Championship in front of him. begins to play. The crowd reacts with overall boos and jeers, but there is the small population of fans, for either nostalgia or just plain assholes, that cheer and do the hero worship wave, wearing Icon Merch. He stops and the referee holds open the ropes as Corman enters the ring. Corman smirks and again repeats the High Rollers hand gesture by the ropes. YOU... ARE NOW... ONE... OF US... Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent till he reaches the top step and wipes his feet before entering the ring never taking his eyes off his opponent. Jen Brunelli: This is your Main Event set for one fall, and is to determine the AXW Champion! Introducing first, wrestling out of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, weighing 275 pounds, "The Icon" STEVE CORMAN! Steve holds up his hands, doing the Highrollers sign once again. Jen Brunelli: His opponent, wrestling out of Chicago, Illinois, weighing 221 pounds, "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE! Damien Steele, who is wearing the "I'm a Steve Corman Guy" t-shirt, raises his fists into the air. Matt Baker shows both men the championship, and raises it into the air. He hands the championship to Jen Brunelli, who exits the ring. Baker frisks both men to ensure no hidden objects, then calls for the bell. TALE OF THE TAPE |

The two start the match off with a handshake, then back off for separation. They look like they're coming back in for the collar and elbow tie up, but instead Damien lies down on the mat. Steve Corman gets down with him, hooking Damien's outside leg for a pin, as Matt Baker makes the count.

Steve Corman stands up and looks at Damien, confused as to why he put his shoulder up. He asks, "What are you doing? We had an agreement!" Damien holds up his finger, wanting a second. Damien pulls off the "I'm a Steve Corman Guy" shirt, he says, "I don't wanna ruin a good shirt," and starts to carefully fold in the sleeves. Suddenly, Damien drapes the shirt over Corman's head and unloads on him with punches. Steve, not being able to see, ends up falling to the mat and ends up getting stomped by Damien until he rolls out of the ring. Matt Baker, allowing some leeway as he would rather a rightful champion be crowned rather than immediately end the match in disqualification, does warn Damien he will be disqualified if he does that again. Damien picks the shirt up, balls it up, and chucks it right at Corman's face. An irate Corman slides back into the ring and throws a clothesline, Steele ducks it and runs the ropes, only to be taken down by a Big Boot from Corman. Corman kneels down and hammers away at the face of Damien Steele. Baker steps in and forces Corman to let up. Steele gets up and receives a kick to the gut, before being taken down with a Hangman Neckbreaker. That's not enough to put Steele away though who kicks out at one. Corman whips Steele into the corner and comes barreling in with the Avalanche Splash. Corman follows up with some Back Elbows in the corner. Corman sends Steele to the opposing corner and follows up with another Avalanche Splash. Corman throws Steele across the ring with The Icon-Plex (Exploder Suplex). Steve heads out to the apron where he rips his elbow pad off and tosses it into the crowd. Corman climbs up to the top turnbuckle where he comes off with a Superstar Elbow (Test-esk flying elbow). Corman hooks Steele's leg who kicks out at two.
Corman brings Steele back up to his feet, where Steele spits into the face of Steve Corman. A pissed off Corman then gets taken down by a drop toe hold, which is followed by Steele delivering sharp elbow strikes to the back of Corman's head. Steele displays some strength as he hoists Corman into the air, before slamming him down with a Falcon Arrow. Steele quickly gets to the top rope where he leaps off, connecting with a Diving Knee Drop. Corman gets to his feet and staggers towards the ropes. Steele clotheslines Corman over the top rope, but Corman stays on the apron. Steele goes out to the apron and plants Corman onto the hardest part of the ring with a Falling Paroxysm! Corman falls to the floor and Steele slides back into the ring. Steele measures Corman up before darting off the ropes and leaping out of the ring with a No Hands Space Flying Tigersault! Steele grabs Corman and rolls him back into the ring. Steele climbs onto the apron and awaits Corman to get to a vertical base, then enters the ring via Slingshot Stunner. Steele covers, but Baker stops the count as Corman's leg is under the rope. Steele tries to lift Corman onto his shoulders, but Corman prevents it and has Steele doubled over, lifts him up, and starts to run across the ring for the Icon Bomb (Running Powerbomb), but Steele is able to counter with a headscissors whip, sending Corman crashing into the turnbuckles. Steele rolls Corman up with a school boy, but rolls him all the way to his knees and nails him with an Avada Kedavra! Steele backs to a corner and stomps his feet in anticipation, then darts out and acquaints Steve's face with the canvas with a Loony Stomp! Steele covers!

NO! Steve kicked out! Damien is in shock as no one has kicked out of that maneuver. Damien realizes he has to stay on the attack and does so by hopping up to the top turnbuckle and dives off with a Phoenix Splash! ...Which connects to the mat as Corman rolls out of the way. Steve grabs Damien by his hair and delivers a Coconut Smash (off knee), followed by a Snapmare Driver for a two count. Steve runs the ropes and strikes Damien with a Running High Knee. He keeps going and drills Steele with a Clothesline from Canada (Hell). Corman follows up with a Falling Fist Drop, and upon Steele sitting up, executes a Seated flip necksnap. Corman slams the back of Damien's neck to the mat not once, not twice, but three times with consecutive German Suplexes. Steve follows up with a gnarly Tiger Bomb '91 for another two count. Steele tries to get to his feet but Steve keeps delivering little potshot kicks to his head. Steele manages to get some punches in to the gut of Corman. Steele is fully to his feet and throws a kick, but Corman catches it and plants Steele with a Leg Hook Chokeslam, and immediately transitions into a Canadian Conspiracy (Sharpshooter). Steele hollers out in agony, but slowly manages to make his way to the bottom rope, Corman utilizing the full 5 count to his advantage before breaking. Steele is using the ropes to help himself up, but Corman pulls him up the rest of the way. Steele hits Corman with back elbows to try to get separation, and tops it off with a Swinging Enzuigiri, stunning Corman. Steele heads to the apron and begins his climb up the turnbuckles, but Steve dives for the top rope, causing Steele to lose his balance and get crotched on the top turnbuckle. Corman pulls Steele off the top before planting him with The Corman Cutter (Tommyhawk)! Corman hooks both legs as Baker counts the pin!

NO! Steele kicks out! An angry Steve Corman runs his thumb across his neck, before slamming Steele down with a Half Nelson/Half Waistlock, leaping mat slam, which is the precursor to The Famouser (Corman Crippler Crossface)! This seems like it's the end of Steele who appears to be on the verge of tapping, but Steele suddenly has the wherewithal to maneuver both bodies so Steele is covering Corman, forcing Corman to break the hold. Both men get to their feet and Corman goes to take Steele's head off with a clothesline, but Steele ducks it and catches Corman with a Pele Kick! Corman drops to a knee and Steele takes the opening, knocking Corman out with a 2nd City Sleeper (Boma Ye to the back of the head)! Steele uses all the strength he has to roll Corman's dead weight over and hook a leg!

Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, and the NEEEEEWWWWW AXW CHAMPION, DAAMIIEEEEEEEEEEEENNNN STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLE!
Lily Luna: DAMIEN STEELE HAS DONE IT! DAMIEN STEELE IS THE AXW CHAMPION!
Cole Haywood: A day that will live in infamy, Damien's ego gets in the way of a great partnership as he stabs his mentor in the back!
Chris Pierce: Damien Steele is one of the longest tenured members on the roster, making his official debut prior to AXW Episode 9 back in the summer of 2014, and has scratched and clawed his way to this moment, standing before us all as the AXW Champion.
The pounding drums of "Miseria Cantare" echo throughout the arena, mixing with a strong mixed reaction from the crowd. Matt Baker hands Damien Steele his AXW Championship, and raises his hand. Damien takes a good hard look at his AXW Championship, slaps his hand against it, and raises it as high as he can into the air. Damien looks down at a still knocked out Steve Corman, turns away from him, and wipes his boots on the mat next to him. Damien climbs a turnbuckle and raises his title high, which is when confetti starts to rain down. After celebrating on all four turnbuckles, Damien exits the ring and flaunts his gold in front of all the ringside fans as he makes his way to the announce table. He screams at Lily to relay that "We are in the Vicious Era!"
Lily Luna: I can't really argue against that, if you couldn't already hear him ladies and gentlemen, we are now in the Vicious Era.
Damien makes his way around the ring to the entrance way, where he walks up the ramp, spinning the title above his head. Upon reaching the stage, Damien turns back and raises his title high one last time, as in AXW tradition, pyro blasts from the stage behind him.
Lily Luna: Ladies and gentlemen thank you for watching Winterslam, we hope you had a great time. For Cole Haywood and Chris Pierce, I'm Lily Luna, good night!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the AXW Champion, DAMIEN STEELE! Damien walks down the ramp with his arms outstretched, his championship snug around his waist. He's wearing his "Vicious One" t-shirt and dark jeans. He picks the microphone up off the ring steps and enters the ring. Damien stands in the ring to a vocal mixed reaction. He removes his title and hoists it high, before resting it on his shoulder. Damien Steele: For the uninformed, I am Damien Steele, the AXW Champion, and it's about damn time, isn't it? For the past two and a half years I have been AXW's best kept secret, and now the secret is out. In the past almost three years, so many people have come and gone, but you know who's stayed through it all? Me. I've literally bled for this company, I've battled so called monsters, hell, I'm the reason AXW even has a Light Heavyweight Division, so all of you fighting for the Light Heavyweight Championship, you have me to thank, and I say you're welcome. The crowd starts to accept Damien, has more cheers are being heard. Damien Steele: Holding this title solidifies my whole career here. Holding this title means I don't need anybody, so all you people cheering me can kiss my ass and shut the hell up! The crowd goes back to mostly boos. Damien Steele: That's right, I don't need anybody and that includes Steve Corman. When Steve joined AXW, I saw a golden opportunity. If you thought I aligned with Steve Corman to try to learn from him, then you're just as stupid as he is. I became a "Steve Corman Guy" as soon as I could to get to this moment right now. You might remember that I was behind ejecting Ethan Cutler from the group, and the rest came crumbling down after, I didn't even have to touch the rest. I used Steve Corman. I played him like a fiddle. The entire reason I was in that group was to get this, the AXW Championship. Now that I have this, I will go on to crush Steve Corman's reign, and prove without a shadow of a doubt that Damien Steele is ten times the wrestler Steve Corman ever was. And hey, if Big Stevie Cool has a problem with it, he can come down to this ring and get his head caved in one more time. Damien turns his attention to the Alternatron where he awaits the arrival of Steve Corman. Several moments pass, and nothing happens. Damien is grinning from ear to ear. Damien Steele: Oh, that's right, the Canadian hero himself isn't even here. He's probably not even in this stupid country. I drove my knee so hard into the back of his dumb fat Canadian head that I think his doctor said he has brain damage. Well, with Steve Corman decommissioned, that leaves me with no challengers. As much as I love to hurt people, I have no problem collecting a paycheck while sitting back and watching other people hurt each other. Somewhere in the arena, stands Damien Steele. The Vicious One has the AXW Championship hung over his shoulder.
Damien Steele: A few short hours ago, the world welcomed Emma Madison Shelley into this world. The innocence of a child is a beautiful thing, isn't it? Unfortunately, this isn't a beautiful world. This is a cold hard world where your dreams will not come true. How do I know that?
He taps the AXW Championship.
Damien Steele: Because I am the champion of this world. I will single-handedly ensure that anybody who challenges me for this has their dreams crushed. When that demon spawn grows to an age where she understands how cruel this world is, I hope she comes across this. I hope she watches Collide and see with her own eyes how her mother will fail to capitalize on her dreams. Starla Gardevoir will never be a World Champion again in her life, and after our match at Collide, may not even be able to wrestle again in her life. I don't care who you are, what gender you are, what race you are, how many kids you have, I will take great pleasure in beating you to a pulp and I will show not a single shred of mercy. Welcome to the Vicious Era.
Damien stares intently at the camera as we fade back to ringside.
We return to see Brad Adams and Damien Steele standing backstage, Damien is dressed in an all black Armani Suit and is carrying the AXW Championship on his shoulder.
Brad Adams: Damien, I wanted to get your thoughts on your match tonight against Gabe Shelley.
Damien Steele: Didn't I already beat him once?
Brad Adams: Yes, you did, in the first round of the AXW Number One Contender's Tournament, but he has heard the words you have said about his family--
Damien stops Adams right in the middle of his sentence.
Damien Steele: That word family has a real weird ring off the ears of a man that has no real traditional family values. You see Shelley, I do not know what family is. I was orphaned and had various "families" growing up. Most of them were just looking for that state check so they could go get their crack or heroin or coke fix. I'm not looking for a pity party though. The life I have lived has made me the man I am today, and that man is a champion.
Damien has a smug smile on his face for a second as Brad goes to speak again.
Brad Adams: Aren't you afraid you may have gone too far with what you said about his daughter?
Damien shrugs it off as he chuckles too. He motions for the camera to come closer as he get right up in the camera.
Damien Steele: Does it look like I care? Do you see any bit of care in these eyes? And for those watching at home... If you are easily offended... well keep watching. Gabe, you got offended by what I said on Twitter, than you haven't seen anything yet. Shelley, you want to come at me to be a man and try to defend your family's honor. It doesn't make a difference if I have to beat you, your wife, or that snot nosed, boob sucking brat. The end result will be the same thing every time... The Vicious One leaves still the AXW Champ!
Damien holds the championship up to the camera as he walks off camera as if focuses on Brad Adams.
Brad Adams: Some strong words from the champ about his match tonight. Let's go back to ringside. At the seven second mark, the hooded figure steps from behind the curtain and through the pyro looking down. The song builds to the fourteen second mark as he throws his hood back and arms out, fired up, as there’s a loud pop of orange and white pyro from the stage. Gabe Shelley responds to the cheers of the fans by pounding his chest and pointing out to them. The fans are positively crazy about Gabe. He begins to make his way to the ring and is sure to tap hands of fans on the ramp. I will never understand the path you chose Chemical parasitic waste inside your bowels So wrap it up while you still can While you got the offer in I just can't believe That you'd throw it all away Now you falsely return today As you're falling on your face Salvatore Pellegrino: This is your Main Event scheduled for one fall, introducing first, wrestling out of Columbus, Ohio, weighing 220 pounds, here is "the reVolution" GABE SHELLEY! Shelley makes his way up the steel steps and jumps to the second turnbuckle and looks around the arena with a smile on his face. He jumps into the ring as his hood comes back up, landing on his feet. He goes to the middle of the ropes ropes facing camera side and jumps to the second one. He flips the hood back once again and makes finger guns at the camera and fires with a wink. LOVE... YOUR HATE... Damien Steele makes no connection to any fans that might be throwing insults his way, almost as if he is only focused on the ring, and more specifically his opponent. YOUR... FAITH LOST... Salvatore Pellegrino: His opponent, wrestling out of Chicago, Illinois, weighing 221 pounds, he is the AXW Champion, "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE! YOU... ARE NOW... ONE... OF US... Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent till he reaches the top step and wipes his feet before entering the ring never taking his eyes off his opponent. vs. Non-TitleGabe Shelley doesn't hesitate to start pummeling away at Damien Steele. Steele fights back and the two are trading blow for blow, until Steele throws a finger to the eye of Shelley, quickly taking advantage by delivering a Swinging Enzuigiri. Steele follows up with a few other moves, a Northern Lights Suplex, Buckle Bomb, and Avada Kedavra. Shelley manages to get back in it, delivering a mostly strike based offense. Gabe does start to expand and delivers a Cannon Ball (Similar to the Codebreaker, but Gabe's knees are in his opponents chest), Pop Up Flapjack/Shining Wizard Combo, and goes on to plant him with a Junkyard Jam (Pedigree). Steele rolls out of the ring and Shelley goes to follow, but Shelley doesn't catch the Steele grabbed hold of a chair and strikes him in the gut with it. Steele Slams it across the back of Shelley. Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner by disqualification, Gabe Shelley! Mike Vincent: Unsurprising that Damien Steele takes a low road. Cole Haywood: It's called making a statement, Mike. Steele doesn't even have anything to prove against Shelley. Steele grabs his championship and leaves the arena. During which he shouts out things like "This is the Vicious Era!" "No man, woman, or child is taking this from me!" as well as other things that aren't as audible.
The opening chords of "The Right Direction" by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus rolls throughout the arena. There’s a fountain of pyro at the three second mark as the song hits. Introducing first, wrestling out of Columbus, Ohio, weighing two hundred-- Shelley is clocked in the back of the head by Damien Steele with the AXW Championship. Steele rams Gabe back first into the edge of the apron, then pulls him back and delivers a Northern Lights Suplex on the steel ramp. Steele mounts Gabe and delivers some punches. Steele rolls Shelley into the ring and slides in after, and Gabe surprised Steele with a Pop Up Flapjack/Shining Wizard Combo, at which point the match officially begins. vs. Non-Title No DisqualificationsGabe has control and delivers a Belly to Back Suplex, STO Backbreaker into Neckbreaker, and a Cannon Ball (Similar to the Codebreaker, but Gabe's knees are in his opponents chest). Gabe brings a chair into the match and hammers away at Steele with it. Gabe rests the chair on Steele and heads to the apron for I'm a Bird, Mother F**ker! (Springboard Leg Drop From Apron), but Steele tosses the chair up at him and rolls out of the way. Steele takes control with a Pele Kick, Avada Kedavra, and a Falcon Arrow onto the chair. Gabe rolls out to the apron where Damien delivers a Falling Paroxysm off the apron and onto the floor. It took quite a bit out of Steele as well. Steele grabs the championship off the floor and swings it at Shelley, Shelley ducking and nailing Steele with a superkick, Steele loses grip of the title in the process and it flies into the ring. Shelley gets Steele back into the ring and continues his offense with moves like Fallout (Double Underhook Front Lungblower into Pin), and a Junkyard Jam (Pedigree) onto the chair, and is shocked when Steele kicks out. Shelley lifts Steele onto his shoulders to set up The reVolt (Cradle Shock), but Steele slips behind him, and hits him with a low blow. Steele makes sure the title is in position, before executing a Loony Stomp, driving Gabe face first into the championship. Steele hooks a leg and it's over. Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, DAMIEN STEELE! Mike Vincent: The AXW Champion able to pick up a win, and certainly used the No DQ Rules to his advanta-- Mike is cut off by some loud thumps, which is Damien tapping a microphone to make sure it's on. Damien Steele: The so called man of the household is laying motionless on the mat. If I can beat Gabe Shelley time after time with the greatest of ease, what makes Starla Gardevoir think she can beat me? Next week is the last stop before Collide, and next week I will be standing in the middle of the ring to sign the contract for our match. Maybe Starla Gardevoir will have more balls than her husband and show up too. Mike Vincent: you heard it ladies and gentlemen, Damien Steele is going to sign the AXW Championship Match contract next week, the big question is if Starla Gardevoir will be there too. Find out next week, good night!

The lights go out as there a red spotlight shining on the entrance. There is a sound of a bell ringing 3 times as we hear Damien Steele speak. Damien Steele: The Vicious Era Is Now! Then "Miseria Cantare" by AFI cuts straight to the lyrics. As Damien is seen in the red spotlight with his hair hanging in his face. The AXW Championship secured around his waist. LOVE... YOUR HATE... Damien flips his hair back as he smiles and holds his arms out to the crowd as he soaks in the boos from the fan but quickly he goes back to his cold calculating stare down to the ring focusing on his opponent. YOUR...FAITH LOST... Damien Steele makes no connection to any fans that might be throwing insults his way, almost as if he is only focused on the ring, and more specifically his opponent. YOU... ARE NOW... The crowd boos loudly and some fans try to reach out to Damien but he does nothing to acknowledge the fans. Steele reaches the ring as he walks around to the steps. And stops at the bottom steps. ONE... OF US... A wicked smile comes across his face as the words of the song repeat again just a little bit faster this time. LOVE... YOUR HATE... YOUR... FAITH LOST... YOU... ARE NOW... ONE... OF US... Steele takes one step up the steps, still keeping his eyes locked on his opponent as the words are said he takes another step slamming his boot down with each phase on a new step, till he reaches the the ring apron and wipes his feet before entering the ring and going to a corner as he removes the AXW Championship and climbs to the middle turnbuckle and hold the title in the air and shouts to the crowd. Damien Steele: This is MY Title and NO one will take it from me! Damien climbs back down and stares down his opponent. Salvatore Pellegrino: Ladies and gentlemen this is your Main Event! This contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the AXW Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, wrestling out of Panama City, Florida, weighing 125 pounds, "Stutterfly" STARLA GARDEVOIR! Starla looks intently across the ring at her opponent. Salvatore Pellegrino: Her opponent, wrestling out of Chicago, Illinois, weighing 224 pounds, he is the defending AXW Champion, "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE! Damien slowly lifts his title into the air, not breaking eye contact with Starla. He hands the title to Matt Baker. TALE OF THE TAPE |

The two lock up and the larger Steele backs Starla to the corner, unloading with punches. Starla slips free and now has Steele cornered, delivering strikes of her own. Steele shoves her away and steps out of the corner into a Dropsault. Steele is back up and blocks an oncoming punch from Starla, hitting her with a punch of her own. Steele runs off the ropes and Starla catches him with as much of a Spinning Sidewalk Slam she can lift him for. Starla repeatedly stomps away at Steele before delivering a Standing Shooting Star Press, at which Steele kicks out at one. The two are back on their feet and Starla throws a Spinning Back Kick that connects. Starla bounces off the rope and delivers a front dropkick that sends Steele staggering back before falling through the ropes to the floor. Starla runs off the same ropes before leaping out of the ring with a Suicide Dive, sending Steele back into the barricade. Steele walks to the corner of the barricade, clutching at his back, before being clotheslined over by Starla. Starla climbs atop the apron, and dives off onto Steele, who catches her. Steele positions Starla onto his shoulders and swings her out for an F-5 onto the barricade, Starla falling back onto the arena floor holding her gut. Steele climbs over the barricade and rolls in and out of the ring to break the count. Steele lifts Starla up, where Starla suddenly slams Steele's face on the apron. Starla rolls into the ring and climbs to the top turnbuckle, but her plan is thwarted as Steele climbs to the apron and yanks Starla's leg out form under her, causing her to fall into a tree of woe. Steele ascends the turnbuckles and delivers a Tree of Woe Diving Double Foot Stomp. Steele hooks Starla's legs but she kicks out at two.
Steele grabs Starla's hair with his right hand, the southpaw hitting her with punches with his dominate hand. He lifts Starla up and plants her to the mat with a Falling Paroxysm. Steele steps into a corner and looks to catch Starla with an Avada Kedavra, but she ducks it and rolls Steele into a schoolboy, a quick two count. As the two stand back up Starla kicks Steele in the gut, and takes him down with a Corkscrew Neckbreaker. Starla heads once again to the high rent district, executing a Frog Splash. Starla rolls out to the apron and awaits Steele to get to his feet, before delivering a Slingshot Dragonrana for a two count. Starla heads to the ropes for momentum to deliver a Double Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors Takeover, which sends Steele sliding out of the ring. Starla exits the ring and approaches Steele, only for him to surprise her with a Swinging Enzuigiri. Steele slides into the ring and runs straight to the ropes, bouncing off them and coming back out of the ring with a No Hands Space Flying Tigersault. Steele lifts Starla up and throws her back into the ring. Steele climbs up onto the apron and at the right moment, enters the ring via Springboard Knee Strike. Steele heads right to the opposing ropes to execute a Springboard Moonsault. Steele looks to top all of that off by making his way to the top turnbuckle and leaping off with a Phoenix Splash, which does not connect as Starla moves out of the way. Starla takes advantage as quickly as she can, delivering a standing 343 Guilty Spark (Tornado DDT), before heading back up top, diving onto Steele with the R.R.O.D. [Red Ring of Death] (Swanton Bomb)! The crowd counts along with Matt Baker.

NO! Steele kicked out at the last second. Starla is in shock, but knows she has to stay on the attack. She plants Steele with a Lifting DDT. Starla goes back to where she seems to be comfortable, to the top rope. She comes off with a Diving Dropkick, sending Steele across the ring. Starla hooks the head of Steele and runs up the turnbuckles for a Sliced Bread #2. Starla makes sure Steele is in position before delivering a Split-Legged Corkscrew Moonsault, another two count as Starla starts to slam the mat in frustration. Steele starts to get up to which Starla tries again to end it, trapping Steele in It's Super Effective! (Black Widow Submission). Steele manages to use his size advantage to back up and force Starla into the turnbuckles. Steele unloads with some back elbows, before lifting Starla onto his shoulders. Steele steps up to the middle turnbuckle and plants Starla to the canvas with an Avalanche TKO. Steele climbs back up to the second rope and take a seat on the top turnbuckle. He runs his hand through his hair with a smile on his face. He motions for Starla to get up. She starts to stir, slowly starting to stand up, prompting Steele to come off the second rope drive Starla's face into the mat with a Loony Stomp (Curb Stomp)! What would probably be enough to put Starla away isn't enough for Steele, he picks Starla off the mat by the hair, lifts her in a Fisherman position, holds her their, before slamming her down with the debut Perfect Steele (Fisherman Stalling Spinning Neckbreaker)! Steele covers somewhat nonchalantly, opting to not hook a leg and has his forearm across her face.

Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, and STILL the AXW Champion, DAMIEN STEELE!
Mike Vincent: Damien Steele crushes Starla Gardevoir's dreams as he retains his AXW Championship.
Cole Haywood: Thanks for coming Starla Gardevoir, welcome to the Vicious Era.
Chris Pierce: An incredible match, Starla showed no real signs of any ring rust, and on top of it all, Damien debuts a new finishing maneuver that Starla couldn't scout.
Damien uncovers his opponent and wipes his feet next to her face. Matt Baker hands him his AXW Championship and raises his arm. Steele steps up on the middle turnbuckle and lifts his title in the air and soaks in the boos from the fans as if they were cheering him. Damien steps down and goes to the opposite corner and does the same thing before exiting the ring and making his way up the ramp.
Mike Vincent: Thanks for spending your Saturday watching Collide, AXW will return to tv on April 1, goodnight ladies and gentlemen!
The camera fades backstage and we see Damien Steele dressed in an all black Armani suit with black shirt and black silk tie. He has the AXW Championship slung over his shoulder as he has a grin on his face as the fans booing.
Damien Steele: AXW... no... The World! Take notice for you are looking at the reigning and after a triumphant victory at Collide, undisputed... AXW Champion!
Damien gets a smug look on his face as he hears the crowd boo loudly.
Damien Steele: Speaking of my victory at Collide, I took everyone's little hero and crushed her dreams of defeating me and regaining this.
Damien lays his hand on the title as he looks intently into the camera.
Damien Steele: I took those dreams of all those adoring little fans of yours, truth be told I took it easy on you!
Damien chuckles and as he does he tilts his head back a little. He then gets an intense look in his eyes as the camera zooms in on his face.
Damien Steele: You see as long as I have this I know I'm the most hunted man in this company, but do you think that scares me? No, you see I enjoy the thrill of the hunt. I have beaten the best of the best to get to this place high above the rest of the competition and I have proven to the world what I've truly known all along. The AXW Championship belongs to me and the only way someone is gonna take it from me is by prying it out of my cold dead hands!
Right now the camera is right in his face as Damien's eyes look like wildfire as he speaks again.
Damien Steele: So Mathews, go ahead and try to shock the world with who my next competition might be but in the end we all know who will still be holding this title when it's all said and done!
The camera starts to pan out as Damien is now holding the AXW Championship around his waist.
Damien Steele: I don't care who it is, I will chew them up and spit them out like the pathetic piece of regurgitated vomit they are. The Vicious Era is just beginning and I'm not going anywhere anytime soon!
Damien walks off camera as the picture cuts to ringside. "Second Sucks" by A Day to Remember plays and out walks Toa with the towel, drenched in blood, wrapped around his neck. He is staring down on the ground and listening to the boos and cheers coming from the fans. "FIGHT" Once he hears the opening line, he starts walking down the ramp, still not showing his face. When he walks up the steel steps and enters the ring, he throws the towel on the ground and does a battle cry. Damien climbs back down and stares down his opponent as he hands the championship to the referee and lets the referee check him. Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall, and is for the AXW Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, wrestling out of the Isle of Samoa, weighing 280 pounds, "Samoan Executioner" TO'A! TO'A has a mean look in his eyes as he stares down his opponent. Jen Brunelli: His opponent, wrestling out of Chicago, Illinois, weighing 224 pounds, he is the defending AXW Champion, "The Vicious One" DAMIEN STEELE! Damien climbs the second rope and raises his title high, beating his chest. TALE OF THE TAPE |

The two appear as if they're going to lock up, but Steele gets behind TO'A and tries to lift him to no avail. TO'A then gets behind Steele and lifts him for a German Suplex. TO'A takes Steele down with a couple of clotheslines, before lifting him up for an Inverted atomic drop, followed by a running single leg dropkick and finished with a running senton. After a pin attempt, TO'A stays on the attack, lifting the champ up for a Samoan Drop. TO'A could cover but opts to inflict more damage, slamming Steele hard with a Gordbuster. TO'A heads to the apron, and makes his way up the turnbuckles, a sight you don't often see. TO'A leaps off and crushes Steele with a Diving Splash, a two count. Steele rolls out of the ring to get some separation, which is thwarted as TO'A bolts out of the ring with an Elbow Suicida (Suicide dive transitioned into a flying forearm smash). TO'A picks Steele off the floor and lifts him for a suplex, and drops him onto the apron. Steele winces in pain as he rolls into the ring. Steele grabs on the ropes to get up, meanwhile TO'A has slid into the ring and barrels in with a Forearm smash to the cornered Steele, and follows right up with an Executioner (Jumping twisting enzuigiri while facing away from a cornered opponent). Steele crumbles to a seated position, allowing TO'A to execute a Samoan Wrecking Ball (Running hip attack to the head of an opponent seated in the corner with theatrics). TO'A lifts what seems like a lifeless carcass off the mat and sets him on the top rope, before running across the ring and planting him with a Muscle Buster. TO'A hooks the outside leg for only two.
TO'A slowly brings Steele to his feet. Steele suddenly nails TO'A with a Swinging Enzuigiri. TO'A stumbles backwards, bounces off the ropes and now stumbles forward, Steele showing off incredible strength by hoisting TO'A onto his shoulders and spinning him out for an F-5! Steele starts to get fired up, slamming the mat a couple times before hammering away at TO'A, to the point where Gus Ramos has to pull him away. Steele goes back in and now stomps away on TO'A, again with Ramos having to pull him off. While waiting for TO'A to get up, Steele goes to the apron, before re-entering with a Springboard Knee Strike. TO'A is loopy, but does not fall down, with Steele running towards the opposite ropes, now delivering a Springboard Stunner that drops TO'A. Steele wastes no motion as he runs to another set of ropes, flying through the air with a Springboard Moonsault, and pops right back to his feet to deliver a Standing Shooting Star Press, now hooking one of TO'A's massive legs for a two count, causing Steele to bark at Ramos. Steele picks the big man up, only to bring him back down with an Asai DDT. TO'A sits up from the impact, allowing Steele to clock him with an Avada Kedavra. Steele covers and again gets two, becoming more frustrated at Ramos. Steele again lifts TO'A to his feet, TO'A creates separation and swings his arm, Steele ducks the line and catches TO'A with a Pele Kick. TO'A stagges back before falling to the mat and rolling out of the ring. Steele runs the ropes before leaping onto TO'A with a No Hands Space Flying Tigersault. At the count of about four, TO'A is coming to, and Steele sees an opportunity, executing a Loony Stomp (Curb Stomp) on the floor! Steele rolls into the ring, and rests on the top rope, sure of his count out victory.

TO'A just barely breaks the count. Steele runs at TO'A and is told to "Sit the fuck down," as TO'A drops him with a Warrior Slam (One-armed side slam, as a counter to an oncoming opponent). TO'A follows up with a Samoan Elbow (Feint leg drop transitioned into an elbow drop to the opponent's chest), a pin attempt following that gets two. When Steele gets to a vertical base, TO'A bounces off the ropes and lifts his leg for Sweet Dreams (Running Arched Big boot), but Steele ninja rolls underneath it, Steele now running the ropes and hits a low dropkick to the leg of TO'A, causing him to fall to his knees. Steele runs the ropes once more and leaps into the air for another Loony Stomp, only this time for TO'A to catch him in a powerbomb position, and slam him down with the powerbomb. Steele rolls out of the ring to prevent Steele from doing any further damage. TO'A follows Steele out of the ring, and gets clocked by the AXW Championship!
Jen Brunelli: The winner of this match by disqualification, TO'A! ...however still the AXW Champion, Damien Steele!
Mike Vincent: Damien Steele takes the low road as he gets himself intentionally disqualified!
Cole Haywood: It's not low, it's smart. Damien knows that being a champion means he can't lose it by disqualification or count out. It's TO'A's fault for not letting Steele Loony Stomp him again.
Chris Pierce: Well one thing is for sure, TO'A is going to be pissed.
Steele rests his title over his shoulder and raises his opposite arm into the air, keeping it up all the way up the ramp and through the curtain. TO'A comes to, and is furious, pushing Ramos away from him and ripping the hood off the announcer's table before we fade backstage.
Backstage, Renee Peltier is with the AXW Champion.
Renee Peltier: Joining me now is AXW Champion, Damien Steele. Damien, why did you choose to take the low road at Horizon?
Damien Steele: Low road? Allow me to educate you, it's called Champion's Advantage, and I took advantage of it. There's nothing low about it, it is there at all times for me to utilize for a reason, and the reason at Horizon is that that fat piece of crap is not worth my time. I've beat him in the past, he's a nobody, a worthless waste of space, and if he keeps thinking he's worth something, I'll do this time and time again until he realizes he cannot outwit me, and certainly cannot out-wrestle me.
Damien leaves before Renee can think to ask more.
"Rocketman" starts with all of the lights out with some smoke and one spotlight "She packed my bags last night pre flight Zero hour nine a.m. And I'm gonna be high, as a kite by then I miss the earth so much, I miss my wife It's lonely out in space On such a timeless flight And I think it's gonna be a long long time Till touch down brings me round again to find I'm not the man they think I am at home Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone" Then a hooded figure shows up and waits at the spotlight. "And I think it's gonna be a long long time Till touch down brings me round again to find I'm not the man they think I am at home Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone" Ben raises his arms simultaneously taking off his cape and walks to the ring. Salvatore Pellegrino: The following contest is your main event scheduled for one fall, Introducing first, wrestling out of Mason City, Iowa, weighing 223 pounds, he is the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, “The Rocket Man” Ben EATR! "Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids In fact it's cold as Hell And there's no one there to raise them if you didn't And all this science, I don't understand It's just my job, five days a week A rocket man, a rocket man" On beat with the song Ben climbs the apron and jumps on the turnbuckle. "And I think it's gonna be a long long time Till touch down brings me round again to find I'm not the man they think I am at home Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone And I think it's gonna be a long long time Till touch down brings me round again to find I'm not the man they think I am at home Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone" Ben keeps his arms up then jumps into the ring. "Now, I think it's gonna be a long long time And I think it's gonna be a long long time And I think it's gonna be a long long time And I think it's gonna be a long long time" The lights all go out and "Miseria Cantare" by AFI starts as a single spotlight shines on the entrance as Damien Steele is standing in the entrance hair in front of his face as at the 45 second mark of the song. Damien flips his hair back and starts to walk down to the ring, as the words of the song start. The AXW Championship secured around his waist. LOVE... YOUR HATE... Damien Steele: This is MY Title and NO one will take it from me! Damien climbs back down and stares down his opponent as he hands the championship to the referee and lets the referee check him. Ben Eatr vs. Damien Steele No Titles on the LineThey circle the ring, but before going any further, Steele turns his attention towards TO’A, who’s sitting at the commentary table, he begins yelling at him. TO’A yells back at him, he looks like he’s about to get in the ring and attack him, but Eatr stops this battle of words between them when he comes from behind and rolls Steele up for the pin, using Steele’s distraction to his advantage. Steele manages to kick out at two, they both quickly get to their feet. Eatr kicks him in the mid-section, he whips him towards the ropes, and takes him down with a Sling Blade when he rebounds. Steele gets to his feet, slower than before. Eatr tries to him with a clothesline, but Steele ducks, and hits him with a Pele Kick. He then springboards off the ropes and hits Eatr with a Springboard Moonsault, before hooking the leg. Eatr kicks out at two. Steele pulls him up and whips him towards the corner. He sets him up in a Tree of Woe position, he climbs on the turnbuckle, and hits him with a Diving Double Foot Stomp! Steele pulls him to the middle of the ring and goes for the cover again, but Eatr kicks out at two once again. Steele stands at one of the corners. He waits for Eatr to get to his knees, before going for the Avada Kedavra, but Eatr dodges the kick. Eatr plants him down with a Snapmare Driver. He goes for the pin, Steele kicks out at two. Eatr then pushes himself using the ropes and hits Steele with the Rocket Shot (Running Single Leg Dropkick). Eatr then pulls him up and is about to finish him off with the Space Out (Future shock DDT), but Steele pushes him away just in time, causing him to stagger back. Steele lifts him up on his shoulders and slams him back-first onto the turnbuckle with a Buckle Bomb. Eatr rolls out of the ring to recover. Steele climbs on the top turnbuckle, he goes for a Diving Moonsault to the outside of the ring, but OH NO, Eatr ducks, and Steele lands on Cloud, who was seated beside the commentary table!! Eatr pulls Steele up to his feet and rolls him back into the ring. Cloud slowly climbs to his feet. He is livid! Cloud stands on the apron and is about to enter the ring, but the ref stops him. They begin arguing with each other. Meanwhile, Eatr successfully hits Steele with the Space Out (Future Shock DDT), he goes for the pin, but the ref doesn’t count as he’s still distracted by Cloud’s presence. Eatr turns the ref around to get his attention. Eatr then turns around into a Perfect Steele (Fisherman Stalling Spinning Neckbreaker) from none other than the AXW Champion! Steele hooks the leg. One! Two! Three! Salvatore Pellegrino: Here’s your winner, DAMIEN STEELE! Lily Luna: Steele defeats the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion tonight, thanks to Cloud. Mike Vincent: Cloud didn’t mean to cost Eatr the match, he just wanted to get his hands on Steele after that Moonsault. Cole Haywood: Damien Steele is a winner, and winners find ways to win, and that’s exactly why Steele is the top champion here in AXW. Damien Steele is handed his championship back, he raises it high in the air.

As the start of the match sounds, both men step out of their corners and slowly walk towards the center of the ring. TO'A bounces back and forth, loose and ready to get down to business. Damien on the other hand, he walks slowly with a look of cockiness on his face and but confidence in his step. Once standing in the center of the ring, the two stand toe to toe, TO'A sneers and snarls at Steele who is standing in silence but staring at him with a look that screams bloody murder as the crowd begins to grow louder and louder in the background. Catching everyone off guard, Steele extends his hand for a shake. Surprised by the gesture, TO'A slowly looks down at Damien's hand before looking back into the Vicious One's eyes. The crowd starts booing as the camera can see Damien says.
Damien Steele: C'mon, let's put the past in the past and have a good and fair match, what do you say?
TO'A buying no part of Steele's antics, TO'A then extends his hand and goes to smack Damien's hand away but as he does, Damien uncoils and catches him off guard with an enziguri to the side of the head. Knocking TO'A off balance and down to one knee, Steele twists the arm, looking to pull what he can early on in this match with an early attempt of gaining the advantage at the Samoan Executioner. TO'A blocks it though, dropping to a single knee and turning his body into dead weight, using his free hand to grab Damien by his hair and slam him to the mat and then mounting and punching Steele. Steele manages to get free and rolls out of the ring. The Vicious One takes a breather for a moment as TO'A is shouting at him to get back in the ring and fight him like a man. Damien rolls inside the ring and is knocked down by TO'A, he kips back up as he goes for an Irish Whip on TO'A hard into the corner. Before TO'A can regain his composure, Damien takes off from stand still and charges the corner full speed, nearly taking the Samoan Executioner's head off with a running clothesline. With the ref’s view blocked by the champ’s body, Steele then locks up with TO'A and digs his thumb into the challenger’s eye. Ripping his head away from Damien's clutches, TO'A immediately covers his wounded eye with one hand, temporarily blinded by the dirty move. Seeing an opportunity, Steele then kicks TO'A in his unguarded gut, knocking the air right out from his lungs before hitting a fluent sequence that begins with a snapmare out of the corner, and climaxes as Steele runs up the corner himself and flips out with a blockbuster of sorts to his seated opponent. TO'A's face meets the mat with a splat and the Vicious One, hooks the outside leg and begins to preemptively celebrate another successful defense.
ONE!!!
KICK-OUT!!!
Unhappy, Damien pulls his opponent away from the corner, up to his feet and quickly spins him around to lock in an abdominal stretch. With the move fully locked, he then begins to crank down on the pressure, trying to tear a muscle in TO'A’s torso and win by submission or stoppage. Putting up a struggle, TO'A squirms to break free, finally doing so by grabbing the ropes and again forcing the break. Vicious as ever, Steele lives up to his name-- elbowing the veteran in the side of the temple three times, quickly in succession, as TO'A seems visibly shaken. Damien then executes a beautiful standing dropkick. Bemused by what has transpired thus far, Damien snarls as he snatches TO'A up to his feet and goes to throw a punch when TOA blocks it and nails Damien with two lefts, a right and a complimentary low kick to the quad. He spins on the spot, looking to land a discus elbow but instead finds that Damien is already blocking the strike, and waiting for what comes next. Stunned to find himself being thwarted in this instance, it is all the Executioner can do to try an minimize the impact as he’s kicked in the stomach and introduced to the canvas by means of a lightning quick DDT from the champion, who stalls instead of pinning immediately and heads outside the ring and instantly starts looking under the ring as he pulls out a steel chair. Damien spins around to the crowd as he mouths off to them to shut up. Damien goes to roll in the ring but TO'A goes in for an attack. A thinking man’s scoundrel; Damien backs away from the ring and taps his head towards the crowd who boo him even more. This negativity however quickly turns to a frantic cheer as TO'A hops up and off the turnbuckle, charges to the opposite ropes and as he rebounds before sailing through the top rope and middle rope; completely wiping out the champion with a Elbow Suicida(suicide dive that is transitioned into a flying forearm smash) right into the steel chair into Damien's face. TO'A instantly jumps up as the crowd goes wild. He scoops the champion up to a vertical base and slides him under the bottom rope as he picks up the chair and slides it in the ring. The front row frenzies over what they’ve just seen. Climbing back into the ring. TO'A goes for a cover, near the ropes, as the crowd counts along.
ONE . . . TWWW!
The champion kicks out. TO'A pulls Damien up, to where he is still seated on the canvas. TO'A gives Steele a chop to the back followed by a football kick to the chest and finished with a running senton, as the crowd cheered on the Samoan Executioner. This time wasting no time TO'A goes for another pinfall and only gets a two before Steele kicks out and is fighting to get to a vertical base. The Vicious One goes for a wildly swung punch but TO'A ducks it and lifts Damien onto his shoulders and drops him just as quickly with a Death Valley Driver. TO'A goes to pick Steele up as he appears groggy and TO'A locks his arms around Steele's waist as he lifts Steele up in a TOA-PLEX (German suplex followed into a dragon suplex and finished with an X-Plex.) Damien is in the middle of the ring as TO'A goes for a pin attempt.
ONE . . . TWO . . KICKOUT!
Damien kicks out as TO'A goes to pull him up. Damien thumbs him in the eye. Damien gets back to a vertical base but is power slammed quickly back to the canvas by the Samoan Executioner. TO'A goes for a cover again as the crowd points out that Damien Steele landed his back on the steel chair in the ring.
CROWD: THAT WAS AWESOME! THAT WAS AWESOME!
Damien somehow still manages to kick out at two and a half. Damien rears his back in pain as he rolls off the chair that appears to be broken. Damien rolls out of the ring to escape any further attempt from TO'A going for a pin. Steele grabs his back and is walking up the ramp like he is done with this match. Waving his arms off as the referee urges him to get back in the ring. The crowd starts booing. As Damien continues to walk up the ramp, TO'A slides out of the ring and gives chase as the crowd goes nuts. Damien spins and both TO'A and Steele exchange lefts and rights as the crowd cheers them on. TO'A gets the upper hand and grabs Damien by the hair and leads him to the ringside area. TO'A rolls Damien into the ring who rolls up to his feet at the Samoan Executioner goes to climb in the ring. TO'A is caught off-guard as Damien attacks as the challenger tries to enter by jumping on TO'A's back and repeatedly stomping on his back with a firm hold of the rope. Steele then starts dragging the beaten down body of TO'A into the ring, and draping TO'A's leg on the bottom rope as he looks at the crowd as a wicked grin comes across his face. He motions for the crowd to be quiet, as he speaks.
Damien Steele: What's the opposite of Christopher Reeves?!
Damien uses the bottom rope to spring himself into the air and he comes stomping down right on TO'A's knee with a Loony Stomp style foot stomp.
Damien Steele: CHRISTOPHER WALKEN!!
TO'A grabs his knee and rolls in agony as he screams. As TO'A screams Damien picks up the chair that is still in the ring and it is indeed broken on a couple of legs. Damien slowly turns around holding onto one of the legs of the chair. Damien would get a sinister grin on his face as he slams the chair down on TO'A's knee. Then again, and again. Then TO'A sits up as Damien swings the chair like a baseball bat and it smashes on TO'A's face and he crumples to the mat, Damien slings the chair into the corner of the ring and goes for a cover.
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
TO'A manages to kick out, much to the misfortune of the Champion who finds himself rolled-up with a schoolboy whilst complaining to Baker about his count. ONE!!!
Powering out of the school boy pin, Steele steps out to the apron; driving his shoulder through the ropes and into TOA's midsection before kneeling atop the back of the Executioner's head whilst pulling the cables apart; forcing the challenger’s throat into the ropes with a choke. After hearing an earful from the ref, Damien then steps through the ropes and passes him by, he circles the ring, turns and makes his way back towards TO'A, slightly calmer than before. While the ref kept Steele occupied though, TO'A is able to cough and splutter, but also able to catch his breath and regroup. Seeing the Vicious One making his way towards him, TO'A nods his head and then meets him in the center of the ring. Damien throws a right hand but doesn't connect as TO'A blocks and counters with Snap scoop powerslam followed into a cover attempt.
ONE . . . TWO
. . Pushing himself up, TO'A then delivers a stinging kick to Damien's back as he rolls over to his side. TO'A then turns his attention to the champ's legs. After pounding the left knee over and over, the Samoan Executioner then lifts Steele's foot into the air and starts trying to drag him over to the ringpost, in the hopes of wrapping the leg around the metal support. Fighting for his championship, and indeed his mobility though; the Vicious One kicks out with violent kick, connecting with a wild punt to the face that buys him enough time to get to his feet. TO'A goes back to the well once more but is met with an intended kick to the gut, but this time the TO'A is ready. He catches the foot and drapes it over the middle rope, before bouncing off the opposite ropes and coming back to chop block the lone functioning leg of the champion in a sickening manner. Both TO'A and Steele are down as the referee starts his count.
ONE . . . TWO . . . THREE!
The crowd starts chant.
THIS IS AWESOME!
FOUR!
As both men start to stir.
FIVE!
Both men get to their feet as Damien comes in and goes for a German Suplex but The Samoan Executioner blocks it as he tries again but he is blocked again. Damien pushes TO'A towards a corner as TO'A blocks it with a foot to the middle turnbuckle and TO'A is able to push Damien away as he rolls away backwards and rolls to his feet. Then Damien comes charging into the corner towards TO'A and he turns and delivers a Warrior Slam (One-armed side slam, as a counter to an oncoming opponent). The crowd cheers on TO'A as he goes for the pin.
ONE . . . TWO . . . THR...
Steele kicks out and TO'A thought he had won it even asking the referee if he was sure. Damien rolls away and makes some room between him and the Samoan Executioner. TO'A makes it to his feet first however he is bleeding from his forehead from the chair shot earlier. He walks over to Steele and starts pounding away with closed fist onto the forehead of Damien Steele. The crowd is cheering loudly. The camera shows Damien starting to fight back but TO'A has busted a cut right above Damien's right eye. TO'A gets the better of the exchange and Irish Whips Steele so hard he crumples in the corner as TO'A gets a grin on his face as he runs to the opposite corner and stands up and pats the turnbuckle He makes a throat slicing motion with his thumb as TO'A fans know what's he is setting up for. The crowd gets pumped up behind TO'A. TO'A let's out a loud scream as he goes charging into the corner that Damien is in as Steele gets crumpled even more by a Samoan Wrecking Ball (Running hip attack to the head of an opponent seated in the corner with theatrics). TO'A pulls Damien out of the corner and goes for the pin but only gets a two count before Damien kicks out. TO'A lifts Steele by the hair and starts pounding away with hard closed fist rights as the crowd counts the punches to ten as TO'A screams at Steele to just die already. Steele raises his fist and raises his middle finger to TO'A. Which infuriates TO'A more. As he rapid fires more right hand punches as the crowd cheers as TO'A pulls back for a pig punch but Damien Steele ducks under it and spins around as TO'A does as well, The Vicious One leaps into the air and nails a Pele Kick knocking TO'A off his feet as Steele lands and instantly rolls TO'A over and goes for a hand across TOA's throat choking him as the referee tries to get Damien to quit. Steele stops for a minute and rolls his shin and boot over TO'As throat, he argues with the referee who feels Steele is going too far despite the no dq rules, and TO'A is still being choked by Steele's shin.
Damien Steele: Whatcha gonna do? Disqualify me?!? It's a NO DQ Match!!
Then Damien goes back to choking TO'A with both his hands around his throat. The crowd is booing loudly as Steele screams at TO'A to tap or pass out. However TO'A is able to force his way out of this as he is able to break Steele's grasp and practically toss the champion off of him with his strength. TO'A gasps for air, and The Vicious One gets to his feet and gets a wicked grin on his face as he comes charging in for a 2nd City Sleeper (Bome Ye) but TO'A moves out of the way. Steele turns around and is barely able to dodge a spinning backfist from TO'A who spins back and is kicked in the gut and picked up and given a buckle bomb from the champ. TO'A locks his arms around the top rope and is able to stand as Steele come charging in with a corner high knee strike (like CM Punk) that connects as TO'A slumps in the corner. Steele smiles as he comes down off the turnbuckle and goes to pick up TO'A out of the corner. He picks him up and sets him in a tree of woe on the turnbuckle as Steele steps out on the apron and climbs to the top rope. He leaps down with a Tree of Woe Diving Double Foot Stomp that makes the crowd cringe as The Vicious One nailed the Samoan Executioner right in the chest and he is left crumpled in the corner. Steele signals that TO'A is done and he pulls TO'A towards the middle of the ring and goes for a pin.
ONE . . . TWO . . . THR...
TO'A kicks out and Damien can't believe it. He argues with the referee for a brief moment as the crowd cheers loudly. Damien turns his attention to TO'A who is starting to stand up as he hooks his arm around in a front face lock and then throws TO'A's left arm over his shoulder. He mocks TO'A by making a throat slicing motion as he hooks TO'A's right leg with his left arm and lifts him and nails him with a Perfect Steele (Fisherman Stalling Spinning Neckbreaker)! Instead of pinning him right away, Steele gloats to the crowd as they boo and Damien walks over to the corner where the broken steel chair is laying and goes to pick it up again. TO'A starts to stir as Damien swings the chair down on TO'A. He rolls over in pain as Steele relentlessly swings the chair across TO'A's back several more times each one he smiles and even laughs as he viciously attacks the Samoan Executioner until it looks like he isn't even reacting to the chair shots anymore. Damien slings the now mangled chair as it slides out of the ring. Feeling satisfied with his destruction Damien wipes his hands in a big motion as he lazily kicks TO'A onto his back for a very cocky one foot pin.
ONE . . . TWO . . . THR...
TO'A manages to get a shoulder up at the last possible second, the crowd erupts and a look of pure shock can be seen over Damien's face. He instantly starts stomping away at TO'A who is still on the mat. The Samoan Executioner rolls away and rolls out of the ring to create some distance but that doesn't last long as Damien give chase and goes flying over the top rope with a No Hands Space Flying Tigersault that has the crowd chanting
CROWD: "HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT!"
Damien gets up and pulls TO'A up with him and rolls him back in the ring as Steele again looks under the ring and pulls out a trash can. The champion slides the trash can into the ring and notices TO'A is starting to make his way up. Damien leaps up on the apron and then leaps up on the top rope and goes flying right towards TO'A who just made it to his feet and turns around right into a Springboard Knee Strike from Damien Steele that sends TO'A back down to the mat. The Vicious One goes back over to the trash can and picks up the lid as TO'A tries to sit up. Steele throws the lid to TO'A who catches and Damien rushes in with a 2nd City Sleeper (Bome Ye) right to the trash can lid as it smacks TO'A in the face and Steele goes for the pin.
