2 Man Gang –
If booked correctly, these two are running the tag division. I say that because the last time these two were in AXW, neither seemed happy with their direction. They were members of opposing teams, and eventually came to blows, with both men holding the Xperience Championship. Adams dethroned Fhenix and Fhenix won it back from him almost two months later. Outside of AXW, these two are tag team champions and this time around, should win the gold in AXW.
(The) Billy Way -
Billy Way has spent a few years making his name for himself and finds his way back to his first home (as far as we know, this guy is shady) in AXW. In case you forgot, before he was “The”, he was “Simply”, and competed in the original form of AXW in 2013 and also competed at AXW Supershow VII. He would compete in EWS and BWF, securing the BWF International Championship and EW Heavyweight Championship in the latter company. I see Billy Way becoming an Xperience Champion, and if dealt the right cards, maybe even AXW Champion.
Danny De Vries –
I first heard about this guy from that short lived indy fed in Boston Eternity Wrestling, and that’s when I knew that this guy is going to be a star. Eight title reigns to his name, 6 of which were one and done. He’s spent the vast majority of his career in EWS, where he ended up getting underutilized in the midcard. Now making his debut in AXW, I definitely see him getting to the top here, and I for one want to see him face Danny Hall for the title.
Danny Hall -
Danny Hall was really breaking through in AXW, but unfortunately for him that’s when AXW’s troubles arose. What’s interesting to note about this is that AXW has officially stated that all titles became defunct in March 2018, but now they’re stating that he is in fact AXW Champion. If true, Danny Hall has been champion for over a year now. This guy has been competing for about ten years now but came to light when he joined BWF and was really made a mockery of. Watching that Danny Hall and the one of today… that’s not a 180, that’s a damn 570! Danny Hall really decorated himself in AXW and is one of three people in the world that can be called an AXW Triple Crown Champion. Looking forward to seeing the next chapter of Danny Hall in AXW.
Dr. Angelique Francois -
Couldn’t find much on her, she was born in France, trained in Ireland, and came to America and has only been competing since about 2017. The women’s division is pretty slim right now, and Francois is definitely the most unique and stands out the most. Her size and power could go unmatched and could help her take the division over.
Duncan Aries -
Do I even need to say anything about this guy? This guy pretty much is AXW. A first year Hall of Famer and thorn in Luke Mathews’ side, there pretty much wouldn’t be an AXW without him. Despite his usually not-so-great relationship with Mathews, Aries keeps finding his way to AXW. With Mathews out of the big picture now and rumors afoot, is Aries really on the roster as a wrestler or is this a cover up? Time will tell.
Evan Starr -
As far as I know, no relation to Ryan or Sierra. I do know that he’s related to Riley Grace who helped train him. He spent time in the short lived Strife Championship Wrestling before migrating to the Loony Bin, where he suffered an injury by Damien Steele that kept him out of competition for over a year. After taking time to train with DJ Cassidy, Evan now comes to AXW looking for his big break. Oh, and this kid only weighs 145 pounds, so his big break might be his entire body.
Everett Andrews-Knight -
A newcomer to the wrestling world as he’s only been competing since 2017… well, professionally that is as he has roots in backyard wrestling. Being new to the profession didn’t stop him from racking up 7 championship reigns already, 3 of which are world! He’s booked in a match for the Xperience Championship at AXW 75, and he might just add that title to his resume. This guy is gonna be one to watch and very well could be AXW Champion sooner than we think.
Floyd the Butcher -
A throwback style moniker, this isn’t a guy you want to make mad. You don’t get the name Butcher for nothing. This hard hitting Brit has competed in the indies and made a name for himself in the States in PWR. From what I’m hearing, EWS didn’t want him and thus he comes to AXW. Already finding himself in a title match, he’s definitely gonna give Everett Andrews-Knight a run for his money. He could definitely catapult himself into the AXW Championship picture, but I think I see him spending some time in the Xperience/Light Heavyweight Divisions for a bit.
November Reigns -
November Reigns is a woman who likes to stay off the radar it seems. Not much is known about her personal life, and she hasn’t done a whole lot in the wrestling world despite having the Luke Mathews grace. She trained at the Mathews Family Training Facility when it was an invite-only facility, and how she was discovered to be invited in the first place is beyond me. She wrestled for CHAMP Wrestling about four years ago and seems to not have done anything since. She did compete at AXW Supershow VII representing CHAMP. In a women’s division currently composed of fresh faces, I’m looking forward to how she stands out.
Queen Soldiers -
Two brothers from the streets of Queens, New York, these two don’t go down without a fight. This team came to prominence while in PWR, where they held the PWR Southern Tag Team Championship. They would later find more success in the BWF where they won the BWF Tag Team Championship. They also held the BWF Trios Championship – their partner? None other than AXW founder Luke Mathews. I’m told that they still have a good relationship with Luke and Luke fully endorses the team. I know I said 2MG are running the division, but I didn’t say it’d be easy.
Reina Borne -
Reina is another newcomer in the wrestling world, though you probably wouldn’t know it. She had her first match in 2018 and has already traveled the world. Charles Williams, Tyler Wolfe, Kia Tamura, and former champions in AXW TO’A and Justin Wyndham are the masterminds behind the creation of The Canadian Hunter, who earned the nickname while competing in Brazil. Borne very well could be the face of the women’s division, or be one of the rare few women who break off into the other divisions, i.e. Starla Gardevoir.
Ryan Graham -
One of the several ring veterans signed who has made a name for himself across Canada and parts of the United States. If my math is accurate, he has held titles on 61 different occasions. That’s probably more than the rest of the roster combined, but I can’t be bothered to check. Over a dozen of those are world titles, so this guy does have credibility. Admittedly, I’m not familiar with his work or the scene he’s from, but overall this appears to be a solid pick up.
The Rysing -
Couldn’t gather a ton on these two, but they’ve been lifelong friends who have been wrestling professionally for the past four years. Jackson Kern is said to have been a star athlete in his youth. I’ve found a few clips of them online and they’re pretty fluid, they can definitely get the momentum needed to climb the ranks in the tag division, and a match against 2MG on AXW 75 is a good way to get noticed.
Snot Rocket Cinema -
Jace Andrews is also a newcomer to the wrestling world, competing since 2017. That’s really all the information I could find on the guy. His punk rock demeanor blends well with that of Brighton Fischer’s, who has yet to even have a professional wrestling match. Brighton is a graduate of the Xperience Center in Los Angeles and is finally going to get her time to shine. As of this typing, Brighton will be the first person to compete in AXW born in the 2000s. Christ I’m old. Anyway, not too sure how these two got together, but this will be an interesting tandem to watch with the mixed gender aspect. Also, wtf is that name?
Togo Oni -
I have a feeling Oni’s gonna do well in AXW. Like really well. He did well in Japan holding the RSPW Six Man Titles, RSPW Dream Gate Title, and RSPW Championship. If this incarnation of AXW is built to last, I think Togo Oni is gonna be a multi-time AXW Champion. AXW has never really had a big star outside of North America, and Oni is here to fill that role. If he sticks around, his name could be synonymous with AXW, much like how many people associate AXW with Duncan Aries.
Xander Blaze -
Can’t say much about this guy’s wrestling ability as I don’t think he’s competed yet, but he was a star football player in college and worked for construction. He’s not just muscle either, he’s got the brains as well with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and engineering. He’s a late bloomer as he didn’t get into wrestling until he watched Strife Championship Wrestling online, and thus, his career path changed. Blaze could be the beast of AXW, and I look forward to seeing who he works with first.
