AXW Ep. 75
United Airlines Arena, Miami, FL
January 19th, 2019
January 19th, 2019
We begin with a shot of an old photo album, simply marked AXW Est. 2013 on it, a red, leather bound album, a hand opening its contents…
“It all began with a vision..”
Luke Mathews: “Welcome, to the first show of Alternative Xperience Wrestling!
“And continued to build steam..”
We see shots of The Push capturing the AXW Tag Titles, Caitlin Shay with the Women’s Title, Ben Eatr with the Lightheavyweight Title, and Steve Corman with the AXW Championship..
“Some faces are familiar..”
Aries spins around, cracking a smirk, Danny Hall raises the AXW Championship high..
“Others are new to this Xperience..”
Floyd The Butcher looking as bad ass as only he can, the enigma known as THE Billy Way flashing a creepy smile, and Everett Andrews-Knight, arms crossed, looking as poised and defiant as ever..
“Together, they, like the rest of us, begin anew. For a new day is dawning in AXW, and tonight..
The book closes, as we cut out to see the two palms of one Duncan Aries, placed firmly on the book..
Duncan Aries: “Will be an Xperience you won’t soon forget!”
Aries tucks the album under his right arm, and lowers his Aviator shades, giving us a wink, before walking off, a bright light engulfing the scene as we are then transported to the United Airlines Arena where throngs, yes throngs of rabid AXW fans have turned out in mass!
The camera pans the sea of humanity before taking us to ringside where the familiar faces of Mike Vincent and Cole Haywood meet us.
Mike Vincent: “Cole, I don’t know about you, but I have waited a LONG time to say this, AXW Faithful, welcome to AXW 75!
Cole Haywood: “I’ve just been waiting a long time for a steady paycheck.”
Mike Vincent: “Tonight we have an action packed show for-“
Vincent is cut off by Digital Summer’s “Push Me” as the crowd comes unglued!
Cole Haywood: “Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!”
The new AXW-Tron displays the name and the face of one Duncan Aries, as the man stands with his arms outstretched, his back to us, before spinning around, ice blue pyros popping on either side of him, as he strides to the ring, the very same book in the intro tucked under his arm!
Mike Vincent: “Rumors have been running rampant that our new AXW owner is indeed this man on his way to the ring, the AXW Hall Of Famer-“
Cole Haywood: “And a three time AXW Champion I might add AND, if I may be so bold THE conscience and THE reason AXW even lasted through each and every storm our former owner put us in!”
Mike Vincent: “Wow, how much did Aries pay you to say that?”
Cole Haywood: “Don’t you worry about that. In fact, nobody should worry, because our new boss, our new leader, has arrived!”
Aries spins in the ring, soaking up the mixed reaction from the crowd. A smile on his face, Aries calls for a mic, as a mix of “ARIES, ARIES, ARIES” and “AXW, AXW, AXW” begin in this raucous crowd!
Duncan Aries: “You know something, you guys finally did it. You put two and two together and realized that I, Aries, Aries, Aries, is indeed, AXW, AXW, AXW! Congrats! Pat yourselves on the back for that!”
Some do cheer, others boo Aries deliberate sarcasm.
Duncan Aries: “How about that intro though, right? Wasn’t that awesome? Well there’s plenty more where that came from, because first off, no longer do we have a cheap ass owner pulling the strings around here. That’s right, he’s gone, gone far, far away, with the only remains of that piece of shit being Luke Matthews presents, and trust me, that’s in as small print as humanly possible, because the era of mismanagement, the era of bias, the era of shit that was Luke Matthews is over!”
Again, some cheer, some boo.
Cole Haywood: “Wooo! Go Duncan! That asshole still owes me money!”
Mike Vincent: “Sit down, Cole! Everyone knows that’s not true!”
Duncan Aries: “And in its place is what you all have deserved this whole time. Someone with dedication, passion, and love for this company. Someone who actually has business sense, and someone with his hand on the pulse of this industry. Welcome everyone to the era of AXW that will be known simply as..THE ARIES ERA!!”
Aries once again basks in his own glow to the mixed reaction of the crowd.
Mike Vincent: “The rumors are true!”
Cole Haywood: “And I for one am super happy for this. Now-“
WHAT’S UP FRESH IT’S OUR RETURN BABY!
“Still Fly” by Big Tymers interrupts Aries, as the crowd turns their attention to the ramp.
Cole Haywood: “No, no, no. It can’t be!”
Mike Vincent: “But it is!”
There, in a modest suit and tie, is wrestling legend known to AXW fans and beyond as The Notch!
Mike Vincent: “Listen to this place! The Notch is here, Cole!”
Cole Haywood: “Even though nobody asked him to be.”
The Notch walks down the ramp, pausing to look at Aries in the ring, and with a smirk, heads to the steps, fans giving him hero worship as he enters the ring, immediately calling for a mic as the crowd goes crazy with a “Notchy Notch” chant harking back to his days in the ring.
Duncan Aries: “The Notch everybody! The newest member of the-“
The Notch: “Let me just stop you right there, Duncan. And let me ask, just who were you trying to fool, huh?”
Duncan Aries: “I have no clue what you’re talking about.”
The Notch: “Oh you don’t? Well allow me to fill you and everyone else here on a little secret, Aries. Duncan Aries, you are NOT the owner of AXW!”
The crowd pops as Aries flips out.
Cole Haywood: “Fake news, Vincent! Everybody knows-“
Mike Vincent: “Everybody knows Duncan Aries is a lying asshole, that’s what everybody knows.”
Cole Haywood: “Wow, Mike. Where did that come from?”
Duncan Aries: “Bullshit! I signed the paperwork, I met with Puke, I-“
The Notch:“Fell for it, hook, line, and sinker. Oh I’m sorry, you look confused. You see Duncan, it’s no secret, not to me, not to Luke, not to anybody involved that you damn sure wanted AXW as your own, but despite your feelings about him, one thing you can’t deny, it’s that Luke always has a plan, and that plan was me.”
Duncan Aries: “F-“
The Notch: “Now, now, there won’t be any of that. It’s funny, Aries, you like to say you’re about telling the truth, speaking your mind, well, then I guess you spoke too loudly because Luke and I both knew that had you truly purchased this company, everything would change. AXW would stand for Aries Xperience Wrestling, and, let me finish-“
Aries is screaming at Notch off mic, who is paying no mind.
The Notch: “You would have done what you couldn’t do in this ring and that’s crown yourself AXW Champion for the fourth time. Am I right?”
Aries says nothing, just crosses his arms, staring daggers through the true AXW owner.
The Notch: “I see. So you’re not admitting or denying that fact. Fair enough. And speaking of fair, regardless of who is the AXW Champion, now, going forward, they will earn it. That’s why I stepped in, Aries. That’s why Luke had you believe this was yours, when in reality I had already purchased AXW before you could even get your hands on it.”
Duncan Aries: “You son of a-“
The Notch: “Yeah, I wouldn’t do that. Because for you, Duncan, this is just another paycheck, and I’m not against the idea, despite your star power and undeniable skills in the ring and on the mic, of firing you and banning you from AXW for life!”
The crowd is rabid, some even chanting “DO IT!” as Aries looks ready to erupt.
Cole Haywood: “He can’t do that! This man is a wrestling treasure!”
Mike Vincent: “He damn sure can!”
The Notch: “But I’m not going to. What I am going to do, Aries, is give you the same opportunities as others in AXW, so while you are NOT the AXW owner, you are indeed an AXW Hall Of Famer, and a name that has become synonymous with the brand over the years. So if you want an opportunity to become a 4 time AXW Champion, I’m not against giving you one. Fair enough?”
Duncan Aries: “I swear to you that I will take AXW. I will take it and bring it to the prominence an old, washed up-“
The Notch: “I’ll take that as a yes. Oh, and I forgot to mention, it’s going to be a fatal fourway elimination match, and it starts, oh, how about, now?”
Aries is stomping around as The Notch exits, referee Mat Baker heading to the ring, as suddenly..
"HOW YOU LIKE ME NOW?”
The instrumental opening of P.O.D.s "Boom" rings through the arena as "Hoochiah" rings through the speakers as Danny De Vries pulls back the curtain and takes a few steps. He stops, stares hard at the ring and looks around at the crowd, then shouts 'D-D-V!' as he pumps his right fist into the air twice and then punches both fists into the air diagonally from his body, holding them in a 'V' shape for a few seconds.
De Vries then strolls confidently down to the ring, jogging the last few steps and slides underneath the bottom rope. He bounces up to his feet, punching both fists up again and bouncing on the soles of his feet.
Mike Vincent: “DDV is here!!
Cole Haywood: “Yeah, and you know, he’s quite the whiner, really. Wants more than just to be the gateway guy, well news flash, pal, you’re a Magnum Wolf lackey and not much else these days!”
Aries looks none too pleased to see DDV, as Aries is rolling his eyes, wondering just what favor “Wolfie” put in to get DDV’s “untalented ass” to AXW. DDV pays no mind to Aries and his talk, as both are greeted with Deftone’s “Minerva” the crowd once again popping!
Cole Haywood: “This guy? Wasn’t he the reason Rising Sun tanked?”
Mike Vincent: “Togo Oni, welcome to AXW!”
Oni is adorned in his usual ornate rob of thunder and lightning, making his way down the ramp to the ring. He enters, and shares a nod of respect with DDV, before turning his keen eyes to Aries, who is still fuming over everything that’s transpired as of late, telling “General Tso” to get out of his grill if he doesn’t want to eat a fist. A confident smirk from Oni to Aries before he takes his spot.
Mike Vincent: “That’s three, who is-“
The Offspring’s “Hammerhead” cuts Mike off as the Alternatron displays the words “THE TRUE WAY OF ENTERTAINMENT” the crowd giving a mixed reaction to THE BILLY WAY!
Cole Haywood: “Now there’s a good signing right there! THE BILLY WAY! So psyched, Mike, and you should be too! This guy could have signed anywhere, and yet he graces us with his-“
Mike Vincent: “Sleazy, disgusting, and downright weird presence.”
Cole Haywood: “You just don’t know the way-“
Mike Vincent: “Of Billy Way?”
Cole Haywood: “Shut up, Mike.”
Way is in the ring, tossing his shades to the crowd, and meeting each opponent with a cat that ate the canary grin, Oni paying no mind, DDV just shaking his head, and Aries rolling his eyes once more, as Mat Baker calls for the bell!
Impromptu Match-Fatal Fourway Elimination Match(winner gets AXW Championship shot)
Duncan Aries vs. DDV vs. Togo Oni vs. THE Billy Way
Duncan Aries vs. DDV vs. Togo Oni vs. THE Billy Way
Aries, after everything that transpired with the true AXW Owner, The Notch, was quite distracted early on, finding himself nearly eliminated from the match, from a DDV Driver from the man himself, as well as a Rainmaker from Togo Oni!
Each man knew what was at stake here, with most of the match early on compromising of Togo Oni and THE Billy Way squaring off, while DDV and Aries staked their respective claims to an AXW Championship shot!
These duos would eventually split off, as Aries tossed DDV to the outside, with Oni doing the same with Billy Way as Oni would turn and find a smack talking Aries, definitely being less than PC with his remarks of Oni’s Asian heritage, even slapping Oni, who would just smirk, wipe his cheek, and then fire off quick and stiff buzzsaw kicks to Aries legs and chest. Aries would push Oni off to the ropes, Togo catching Aries right in the jaw with a running ax kick!
Aries would head to the outside, as DDV would then enter the ring, the crowd buzzing for these two to tangle, but it was quickly broke up by THE Billy Way who pulls Oni out of the ring, slamming him into the steel steps. DDV motions for Way to bring it and Way enters, only to be met with stinging chops and European uppercuts that rock Way into the corner. DDV goes for a snap suplex, which is blocked, as Way lifts DDV up in a front suplex, dropping him onto the ropes before booting him hard to the outside.
The crowd buzzes as Way enjoys his work, before turning around to Togo Oni who grabs Way by the arm and plants him with a Rainmaker (short arm Clothesline From Hell) to the roar of the crowd who count along as Oni gets the 1,2,3 and THE Billy Way is eliminated!
Way is irate and is arguing with referee Mat Baker before brushing him aside, yanking Oni by the hair and tossing him shoulder first into the ring post! Way is a man possessed as he tosses Oni to the outside and once again whips him into the steel steps. Way picks the step up and tosses it down on Oni, and even climbs on top of the steps with them on Oni! Way soaks in the boos from the crowd, before spitting on Togo and leaving the ring.
Back in the ring, Aries and DDV are trading blows, with DDV getting the upper hand, but Aries fires back with a roundhouse kick that staggers Danny, lifting him up for The Culmination, but as he turns for the spin, a running ax kick from Togo Oni catches Aries as DDV collapses on top of him! Oni actually picks DDV up and tosses him to the outside, raining down blows on Aries to the roar of the crowd!
Aries kicks Oni away and tries to get to his feet, but Oni is right there with a running front dropkick that sends Aries crashing into the corner. Oni lets out a war cry and runs in for another running dropkick, but Aries side steps him, Oni crashing into the corner. Aries shakes his head, and then shrugs, scooping up Togo and planting him with The Culmination for the pinfall, eliminating Togo Oni!
Aries would talk smack to Oni, kicking him from the ring, only to be grabbed in a German suplex by DDV, nearly pinning him! DDV would keep the pressure on, Duncan, hitting a snap suplex, a running STO, and a backbreaker, but Aries would kick out at two.
Aries would counter an attempted knee trembler with a leg sweep then hit his new trademark, Creative=Zilch (Claymore) but DDV would kick out at two.
Aries would wait for a rising DDV and try an Enter Gideon (Beautiful Disaster Kick), but DDV would duck, hit the ropes and connect with a knee trembler. DDV then hit his finisher, Spinal Tap, as he would go for the pin, referee Mat Baker counting, not seeing Aries feebly just get the tip of his foot on the bottom rope, awarding the pinfall to DDV!
Salvatore Pellegrino: “The winner of this bout, DDV!!”
DDV has his hand raised, as a dejected Aries rolls from the ring.
Cole Haywood: “Bullshit, Mike! Aries had his foot on the bottom rope!
Mike Vincent: “A crazy opening contest there, and hey, that was a close call-“
Cole Haywood: “No it wasn’t! You could see that! You can also see how this new administration is out to mess with the one true AXW legend!
Mike Vincent: “The referee has final word, Cole, and DDV has earned himself a spot in tonight’s main event!
Tag Match
2MG vs. The Rysing
2MG vs. The Rysing
2MG, as they are known to do, drew the ire of the crowd upon entering the arena to “Radioactive” by Imagine Dragons but also got a nice pop from those smart fans who appreciate their mix of technical prowess and raw, in your face brawling. The Rysing, coming out to Duncan Aries’ former theme of “Playing The Saint” by Digital Summer got a nice pop from the crowd, but those same smart fans were still vocal against the up and coming AXW tag team.
Jackson Kern and Jonathan Fhenix are elected to start the match for their respective teams, new referee Stephen Deens calling this match. Kern and Fhenix lock up, jocking for position, breaking it off, as with a shrug, Fhenix delivers some stinging chops, backing Kern into his corner. Putting the boots to Kern, Fhenix then tags in Jack Adams, who continues the onslaught of boots on Kern, before yanking him out of the corner by his legs and dropping him on his back.
As Adams opens a certifiable wrestling clinic on Kern, a delayed suplex, a throwdown spinebuster, and an Alabama Slam, a bored Fhenix, would feign yawning, looking at an invisible watch on his wrist, before yanking Garrett Stevens off the apron and tossing him over the barricade into the crowd.
Slapping his hands together, Fhenix enters the ring after a tag from Adams as the duo perform the 2 Man Elimination of a leg sweep and a spinning heel kick collapsing Kern as Fhenix covers for the academic pinfall.
Salvatore Pellegrino:”Here are your winners, the 2 Man Gang!”
Cole Haywood: “That’s dominance, Mike.”
Mike Vincent: “An emphatic message to any and all tag teams and-hey wait a minute!”
As Fhenix and Adams celebrate they are clobbered from behind by Erwin and Damian Kingston, The Queen Soldiers!
Cole Haywood: “The Queen Soldiers seem to be making a statement of their own, Mike!”
First Fhenix is dropped with Empire State Of Mind (3D), and then Adams is hit with N.Y. State Of Mind as the crowd comes unglued. Jackson Kern enters the ring to check on Garrett Stevens as Erwin motions to Damien, the two stalking Kern, dropping him with an Empire State Of Mind before picking up Garett and hitting a New York Minute (Sidewalk Slam/inverted leg drop bulldog) successfully laying out everyone in the ring. Erwin calls for a mic, surveying the damage.
Erwin Kingston: “GAME ON, BEEEEEOOOTTTCCH!”
The crowd roars as Erwin drops the mic pipe bomb style and The Queen Soldiers exit the ring.
Mike Vincent: “Look at this destruction! Queen Soldiers are here and making a huge statement here tonight!
Women’s Triple Threat
“The Canadian Hunter” Reina Borne vs. November Reigns vs. Dr. Angelique Francois
“The Canadian Hunter” Reina Borne vs. November Reigns vs. Dr. Angelique Francois
New women’s division referee Jesse Haynes was calling this one. Reina Borne was given a warm welcome by the crowd, so much so you’d think we were in Winnipeg. “Paint It Black” by Ciara playing as she made her way to the ring. November Reigns got quite the mixed reaction from the crowd, making her to the ring to Killswitch Engages’ “The End Of Heartache”. Lastly, to a huge chorus of boos, France’s own Dr. Angelique Francois, in a spiked gas mask, makes her to the ring to “Square Hammer” by Ghost. She stands in between her two opponents, ripping off her mask and letting out a roar, before quickly knocking November Reigns down with a big boot as Jesse Haynes calls for the bell and we are underway!
Francois turns and tries a big boot on Borne, who actually rolls under it and hits a German suplex! Borne hits a second German suplex! Trying for the trifecta, she is clubbed in the back by November Reigns as Francois falls to the mat. Reigns turns Borne around and hits a T Bone suplex into the corner, Borne folding up in a heap! Reigns turns and is clocked with a discus lariat from Francois! The Dr. goes for a cover, and Reigns kicks out at two. Francois stomps away at Reigns, even cinching the arm and biting her!
Yanking her up by her hair, Francois looks to hit the Slice And Dice (Spiked Pedigree) on Reigns, but is greeted with a Superkick from Reina Borne before she can hit it, the stunned Dr. then back body dropped out of the ring by Reigns. November charges at Borne but her momentum sends her into the Bosswoman Slam (spinning side slam) from Borne to a huge pop from the crowd!
Reina begins heading up top for the World Famous Elbow Drop, when suddenly Warrant’s “Cherry Pie” hits the PA system, and a scantily clad red head shows up on the stage to whistles and cheers from the male demographic!
Mike Vincent: “Who is this woman? You see her in your notes, Cole?”
Cole Haywood: “Notes? What notes? And who cares? I don’t see anything under that button down shirt, and, are those panties lace and see through? Woo-hoo!”
Along with the crowd, this woman has also distracted referee Jesse Haynes, Reina Borne, who hops down from the turnbuckle, and even a stirring November Reigns casts a bewildered glare as this woman walks around the ring and over to timekeeper Willy Smalls, pointing to him. She then proceeds to give this nerd of a man a lap dance to thunderous cheers!
Cole Haywood: “No fair! I can’t believe I actually envy that bastard.”
Mike Vincent: “Well, she made Willy’s night, that’s for sure, but she’s also brought this match to a halt here, and look at Borne and Reigns, they look super pissed off, and they should be!”
After nearly killing a middle aged man who probably hasn’t had that kind of attention in his life (ever!) this woman blows a kiss to Borne and Reigns, before Francois charges in and knocks Borne into Reigns, as November tumbles out in front of the red head who scurries off, and then Borne is rolled up by Dr. Angelique Francois for the 1,2,3 and the victory!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, DR. ANGELIQUE FRANCOIS!!
Cole Haywood: “Hope you saw that, Notch, because this woman means business. And speaking of women, I wonder if I can get that ginger’s digits.”
Mike Vincent: “Easy there, and speaking of that woman, whoever she is, she’s leaving as she should, before either Borne or Reigns rip her head off!”
With a wink, the red head exits as Dr. Francois follows behind. After the victor departs, Reina Borne storms out of the ring and heads backstage.
---------
Speaking of backstage, we see The Notch decorating his new office, a photo of Darkness, one of his cousin Alex Silver and his friend El Chico, and finally The Notch takes out his very first World Championship, from the long defunct Slam! Wrestling Association.
No knock, but a full on barge in from one Duncan Aries, fuming.
Duncan Aries: “Aww, how cute. Thinking of the old days there, Notch? Don’t mind me-“
And with that, Aries swats the championship out of Notch’s hands, sending it to the floor.
Duncan Aries: “Now that I’ve got your attention, what do you plan on doing about that bullshit out there earlier tonight?”
The Notch: “Not sure what you’re talking about.”
Duncan Aries: “Um, hello? I had my foot on the bottom rope, that referee is an idiot and that match should have never been over, especially with that can of shit DDV winning, so-“
The Notch: “Oh, that bullshit. I see. I see. Well from one Hall Of Famer to another, let me choose some words suitable for someone like yourself. Sucks to be you, doesn’t it?”
Duncan Aries: “Excuse me?”
The Notch: “Referees are human, just like you and me, but their word is final. Look at this as another hurdle for the “great and mighty” Duncan Aries to overcome on his way to his fourth AXW Championship reign. Makes a good story, don’t you think?”
Duncan Aries: “Fuck you and your story. This is one big joke to you, you and that sack of shit who sold this place to you and out from under my nose.”
The Notch: “You see me laughing?”
Duncan Aries: “No, but tonight…I will be. You can bet your ass.”
Before The Notch can retort, Aries smirks and walks off, slamming the door behind him. The Notch sighs, and picks his championship up off the floor.
----------
We cut suddenly to the parking lot where the redhead from earlier now has a robe on over what little she was wearing and looks ready to get into a limo when a yelling Reina Borne bursts onto the scene.
Reina Borne: “What the hell was that, huh? Look I don’t know who you are, but-“
The redhead cuts her off by teasing removing her robe, showing some cleavage, and with another wink, gets in her limo as it drives off, leaving a pissed off Reina Borne behind. Borne turns and runs into November Reigns.
Reina Borne: “You see this shit?”
November Reigns: “Yeah. She made a real mess of that match tonight. Who is she anyways?”
Reina Borne: “Whoever she is, I’m getting to the bottom of it, AND then my whole boot up her ass!”
Reigns nods as the two walk off.
Opportunity Knocks Triple Threat
Evan Starr vs. “Speedy” Jace Ramsey vs. “Stunning” Ryan Graham
Evan Starr vs. “Speedy” Jace Ramsey vs. “Stunning” Ryan Graham
Three newcomers to AXW went into this match knowing full well what was at stake here. Young Evan Starr definitely seems to be over with the AXW Faithful who see promise in him. Coming in through the crowd to Evan Blue’s “Cold” (But I’m Still Here), Evan was greeted by fans who definitely seemed to be pulling for him in this match. Jace Ramsey would get a similar reaction, as “Bro Hymn” by Pennywise had the crowd chanting to the beat and enjoying the sheer energy of Ramsey. By comparison the smarmy “Stunning” Ryan Graham was met to a chorus of boos, despite some showing that smart fan respect for Graham’s decade plus career and wrestling prowess. Still, Graham seemed perhaps too comfortable in disrespect to his opponents.
Referee Tom Blank was calling this one, as a smack talking Ryan Graham was met with a sweep and a super kick from his opponents, taking him from the match early, as he landed on the outside. The two speedsters would take turns putting on quite a show, Starr with arm drags and Ramsey with an enziguri and a monkey flip that sent Starr right into a turning spinebuster from Ryan Graham! Ramsey would hit some elbow shivers to the Stunning One, who would answer with some stinging chops! Graham would hit a Stun Gun to Ramsey and then a fisherman’s suplex for a pin, but had it broken up by Evan Starr.
Starr and Graham would trade chops, Starr getting the better of it, whipping Graham across the ropes and connecting with a Stun Gun of his own before clotheslining Graham to the outside. Seeing Ramsey stirring, Starr charges and hits a suicide dive to the rising Graham! Starr celebrates, but then turns and is turned inside out by a STIFF clothesline from one monster of a man!8j7h
Mike Vincent: “Holy hell! Who is that monster?”
Cole Haywood: “That’s no monster, Mike. That’s The Alpha Predator, that’s Xander Blaze!”
Mike Vincent: “But what’s he doing out here? What’s he got against Evan Starr?”
Blaze scoops Starr, who he outweighs by nearly 200lbs, with ease, turning and running up the ramp, planting him with a running powerslam! The crowd seems to groan along with Evan Starr, who is laid out on the ramp. Blaze stands over the fallen Starr as officials and even The Notch, come out to get Blaze to the back and away from further damage to Starr.
Cole Haywood: “Well, it looks like Starr can kiss his title shot hopes goodbye!”
Mike Vincent: “Which is a damn shame. I don’t know, maybe Xander was pissed he wasn’t booked, but there’s other ways to go about it!”
Cole Haywood: “To me, destroying someone’s hopes and dreams, pretty good way to go about it.”
Back in the ring, Ramsey and Graham are trading blows, with Ramsey getting the upper hand, and then hitting a quick flying headscissors, followed by a running front dropkick sending Graham into the corner. Fired up, Ramsey would fly in for a splash, then hit a running one handed bulldog out of the corner. Ramsey would see an opportunity and go for a springboard shooting star press but would eat canvas as Graham would roll out of the way!
Clutching his ribs, Ramsey would stumble and get caught in Dream Of Billions (Million Dollar Dream) by Graham, who tried to get the sleeper victory, and then switched it up, lifting Ramsey up and turning his body, hitting a modified Rock Bottom, spiking Ramsey to the mat!
Graham would get the cover..
1..
2..
3!
“Stunning” Ryan Graham is victorious!
Salvatore Pellegrino: “Here is your winner, “STUNNING” RYAN GRAHAM!!!”
As we see Evan Starr being assisted to the back, Graham thrusts his arms into the air and tells the camera “I told you! I told all of you! Shine it up, Hall!”
Mike Vincent: “Ryan Graham, no shortage of confidence, and damn it it’s still so disappointing to see Evan Starr get taken out of this match by that monster Xander Blaze!”
Cole Haywood: “Alpha Predator, Mike! And Graham should be confident, he said what he was going to do, and step one is complete! If anyone is at fault for what happened to Evan Starr, it’s our new fearless leader who left a beast of a money maker like Blaze off this show!”

vIn an ominously lit room, two men stand with their backs to the camera. They’re both wearing a leather jacket with a matching logo on the back: a crown with CHAOS written under it. The screen statics and gets distorted at various points of the segment.
Voice 1: Political propaganda and fake news is all the rage in the brainwashed masses. Thankfully, we are not part of the brainwashed masses.
Voice 2: We’re above the masses.
Voice 1: The sheep are in an outrage over a d-list celebrity and his wall.
Voice 2: This is what Lady Liberty’s oh-so precious democracy gets you: unruly rulers.
Voice 1: Our mission statement is not to “Make America Great Again.” We’ll happily sip fine wine from our thrones as we watch America burn to the ground. We are two kings joining forces for one simple cause:
Voice 2: Chaos.
The word CHAOS quickly flashes on and off the distorting screen. The distortion and other screen effects stop so we now have a clean image. The man on the right side of the screen, who is behind Voice 1, turns around and speaks.
Brandon Laux: King Brandon.
Now the man on the left, Voice 2, does the same.
Benjamin Mathews: King Benjamin.
Brandon Laux: Chaos reigns.
The words KINGS IN CHAOS appear on the screen before everything fades out.
Cole Haywood: “You see that, Vincent? Brandon Laux and your old pal Benji Matthews. They’re kings, kings of professional wrestling, and they’re bringing chaos with them. Probably your fault too.”
Mike Vincent: “How so?”
Cole Haywood: “Looks like Benji is embracing his full asshole, probably after all those years of enduring you.”
Mike Vincent: “Not a chance. Benji has always been an asshole. You can ask our former owner, you can ask anyone who worked for this company over the years. He’s just wearing it like a crown now, I guess.”
Cole Haywood: “Real cute, Mike. I’ll tell him you said that.”
AXW Xperience Championship
“The Self Supremacy Of AXW” Everett Andrews-Knight vs. Floyd The Butcher
“The Self Supremacy Of AXW” Everett Andrews-Knight vs. Floyd The Butcher
One powder keg of a match up would see Floyd The Butcher attack Everett Andrews-Knight on his way to the ring, with Floyd tossing Everett into the ring with referee Stephen Deens calling for the bell to start the contest!
Floyd The Butcher is a methodical wrestling machine, picking apart his opponent early on with European uppercuts, a release Butterfly suplex, and a gorilla press into a double knee gutbuster, winding Everett early. Floyd would slap Everett in the back of the head, screaming “SHOW ME SOMETHING!” which would fire up Andrews-Knight, shutting up Floyd with a vicious headbutt that stuns both men, and then a discus clothesline that takes Floyd down. Everett would hit a gutwrench powerbomb for a nearfall, keeping the pressure on Floyd.
Everett would whip Floyd into the corner, connecting on a big avalanche splash, following it up with a Midnight Calling (Codebreaker) attempt, but Floyd counters, hanging onto Everett and buckle bombing him back into the corner, hitting a STIFF lariat that flips Everett up and over, crashing face first into the mat! With a defiant “COME ON!” Floyd bends the arm of Everett, the man’s hand still prone to the mat, and then begins to repeatedly STOMP away as Everett cries out in agony. Stephen Deens counts Floyd down, who does stop by the count of 4, telling Deens “SHUT UP, MATE!” before going back to further manipulate the joints of his opponent with a wrist flex and a thumb lock. Floyd shakes his head at the downed Everett, slapping him on the head again.
“This is it, huh? This is your “Self-Supremacy?” Floyd would ask the crowd, before lowering his one kneepad and charging in for a knee trembler which is countered with a Superman punch stunning Floyd! Everett then hits the Supremacy DDT (Impaler DDT), hooking the leg for a long two count! Everett, undeterred, motions for Floyd to get up, and charges in for a spear, only to be clocked with a STIFF high knee rocking him back, Floyd then lifting Everett up in a GTS, dropping him right into a European uppercut to a huge pop from both the crowd AND Knight’s skull! Floyd collapses onto Everett , hooking the leg, but now it’s Floyd’s turn to get a long two count on Everett!
Floyd pounds the mat and stands up, stalking Everett as he rises, going for a Backstabber, but is shook off, Floyd rolling back and then charging, running right into a Trouble In Paradise from Everett. Knight looks down at Floyd, contemplating a cover, but decides against it, instead getting Floyd to his feet and hitting Midnight Calling (Codebreaker), covering for the 1…2..3 and the Xperience Championship!!
Salvatore Pellegrino: “Here is your winner and THE NEW AXW XPERIENCE CHAMPION, “THE SELF SUPREMACY OF AXW” EVERETT ANDREWS-KNIGHT!!”
The crowd is on their feet for these two gladiators as an elated Andrews-Knight is handed the title, thrusting it high into the air, as we see a dejected Floyd coming to behind him.
Mike Vincent: “These two had one hell of match! Hats off to both of them!”
Cole Haywood: “That was a war! I’d love to see these two-“
Mike Vincent: “ Wait a damn minute!”
Floyd has attacked Everett from behind, clubbing and then stomping him down. Floyd yanks on the arm of the new Xperience Champion, twisting and twisting before carefully spreading the fingers, and then SNAP, the new champ riving in pain!
Cole Haywood: “Ooh! Nice!”
Mike Vincent: “Nothing nice about it! These two had a clinic and this sore loser has to go off the wall and injure the champion!”
Floyd soaks in the boos from the crowd before bending down and picking up the championship, looking at it with a smirk, before tossing it down on the fallen champion, exiting the ring and looking mighty pleased with himself.
Cole Haywood: “Hey you hate to see that happen, but this Floyd The Butcher, the dude is bad ass and plays by his own rules.”
Mike Vincent: “Was still a despicable act! Well folks, it’s nearly time for our main event, and this should be a great one!
Cole Haywood: “Eh, it could have been great, but that crooked ref robbed our true AXW leader of his rightful shot at the gold! Still, it will be great to see our champion in action, doing what he does, building that legacy!”
We open on The Notch sitting at his desk, the camera on him.
The Notch: “What a night, right? The main event is just ahead, but I had a little announcement to make. Obviously my job as AXW owner is to give you, the AXW Faithful, the best possible product, and to do so I need to go out and consistently scout and look for ways to bring AXW to as many people as we can. That being said, AXW 76 I am appointing a general manager to handle the show-to-show operations of this fine company. Who? Well, you’re just going to have to tune in to find out!”
The Notch folds his hands down as the crowd pops, we return to ringside.
Mike Vincent: “We’re getting a new GM!”
Cole Haywood: “I knew it! Aries will run this ship after all!”
AXW Championship Triple Threat
Danny Hall © vs. DDV vs. “Stunning” Ryan Graham
Danny Hall © vs. DDV vs. “Stunning” Ryan Graham
The energy for this match was palpable, with “Stunning” Ryan Graham coming out to “Professional Griefers” by Deadmau5 ft. Gerard Way to a chorus of boos. Graham was oozing confidence, a sense of belonging in this spot in AXW.
The crowd would come unglued for DDV from the moment “HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW?” hit the PA system. P.O.D.’s “Boom” once again brought DDV to the ring, fired up and ready to go.
Lastly came the ever defiant AXW Champion to Thrice’s “Black Honey” to a loud chorus of boos. Hall would march around the ring, holding the championship in the faces of his opponents. Formal introductions would follow and soon Mat Baker called for the bell and this match was underway!
All three men circled, when we catch a glance from Graham and Hall who nod and double team DDV to a huge chorus of boos. They take turns stomping him down before a big boot from Hall sends DDV tumbling out of the ring to the floor. Hall takes a second to gloat before turning into a STIFF flying knee from Graham! The crowd goes crazy as Graham goes for a cover.

2.. and Hall kicks out!
Graham whips Hall to the ropes, connecting with a spinebuster on the rebound for another two count, putting the pressure on the champion. Graham goes to bring Hall up and is cinched from behind in a German suplex by a returning DDV! This is then interrupted on the rise from DDV by a shining wizard from the champion to the back of DDV’s head. Hall goes for the cover..

DDV kicks out.
Hall rises to be clutched in the Dream Of Billions (Million Dollar Dream) and then lifts Hall up, slamming him down to the mat with a modified Rock Bottom. Graham goes for the cover, but it is broken up by DDV who then begins chopping away at Graham, backing him into a corner, and then hitting him with multiple European uppercuts before snap suplexing him out of the corner. DDV catches Graham with a knee trembler and then signals for the end, scaling the turnbuckle.
Mike Vincent:” Here we go, The Stargazer!”
DDV leaps off, hitting a beautiful shooting star press..only to be ripped off of Graham and tossed to the outside by the opportunistic champion, Danny Hall!
Hall goes for the cover..

Graham just gets the right shoulder up!
Cole Haywood:”So close!”
Hall readies himself, as Graham slowly rises, hitting a Lovesick Harmony (Shining Wizard) to Graham. Hall turns and is run down by a knee trembler from DDV! Hall stumbles to his feet and is taken from the ring with a Boston Strong Shot (running single leg dropkick)
Mike Vincent:”DDV is feeling it now!”
Cole Haywood:”Get up, Ryan!”
Graham is caught and lifted up and dropped with Spinal Tap (Project Ciampa) from DDV to thunderous cheers! DDV goes for the cover..

and Mat Baker is pulled from the ring by Danny Hall!
Mike Vincent:”Hall just saved his championship there, but come on!”
Cole Haywood:”Super smart is what that is! Look out!”
As Baker argues with Hall on the outside, DDV springboards over, aiming for Hall but totally takes out Baker who Hall pushes into the line of fire!
Mike Vincent:”Good lord! The referee is down, and Hall saved his ass again there!”
Cole Haywood:”He’s also pissed off DDV in the process, ow!”
Hall tried to catch DDV off guard with some chops, but they are answered in LOUD stinging fashion, before DDV whips Hall hard into the barricade. DDV enters the ring and runs right into a spinebuster from Ryan Graham! Graham, exhausted, sees there is no ref and begins a slow climb to the top rope.
Mike Vincent:”Graham isn’t much of a high flyer, what’s the plan here?”
Cole Haywood:”A master plan!”
Graham dives off with a big splash, but catches nothing but mat as DDV rolls out of the way. DDV stirs and sees a downed Graham, but is spun around and clocked over the skull with a steel chair from Duncan Aries!
Mike Vincent:”Aries with a hellacious chair shot!”
Cole Haywood:”Deserved too! DDV’s win was a fluke! Aries should have graced us with his presence in this match!”
Aries spits on the downed DDV and throws the chair down, as a wily champion, Danny Hall watches Aries storm out. Hall enters the ring, picks Graham up and tosses him hard to the outside, before hitting a slow to rise, DDV, busted open, with a Lovesick Harmony (shining wizard) before going for the cover. Mat Baker slowly crawls back into the ring.
The crowd counts along as Baker makes the slow count..

[]Salvatore Pellegrino: [/b]“Here is your winner AND STILL AXW CHAMPION, “THE OBSESSION” DANNY HALL!!!”
Cole Haywood:”Take that, doubters! Danny Hall single handedly defeats two men in-“
Mike Vincent:”Come on, Cole! We all saw what happened! Aries, believing he was screwed earlier tonight, makes sure that if he can’t have the AXW Championship than neither can DDV, right?”
Cole Haywood:”Damn right, Mike! A guy like DDV, who tries to stand for something, accepts that bullshit call earlier tonight, and thinks there won’t be any issue coming out here and just taking the gold. Well guess what, Mike? This may be The Notch’s AXW, but this is Aries’ Universe, and we’re all just living in it!”
Hall stands triumphant in the ring, holding the AXW Championship afloat, looking at the downed opponents around him, DDV busted open, Ryan Graham stirring and looking dejected on the outside, before making his exit. Hall stands at the top of the ramp, once again holding up the championship as we slowly fade to black.
