A solid show.
One place I always lacked was commentary, I'm glad you're good with it.
One gripe I have is that there were a lot of attacks/distractions, but I understand there's a lot to establish so it's passable.
Weren't there new rules for the Xperience Championship that were going to be announced?
Potential feuds to look forward to: Blaze/Starr, Butcher/EAK, 2MG/QS, Aries/DDV

Alrighty! Ladies and gentleman. Little bit of that Midnight AXW Feedback and ReVIEW. This one's gonna be a bit short. Bare with me.
For the returning show of AXW, this was excellent. We saw a lot of the younger guns shine while some of the older faces got to showcase why they are synonymous with AXW. Not to mention, the establishing of new feuds that I think are gonna shake things up.
In short, Nick, you worked your ass off (No thanks to me) and you deserve a shit ton of credit for giving us something great to read or the first returning episode.
GRIMS' RATING: 4 1/2 debuting wrestlers out of 5.

In the case of the distractions/interferences 3 of those were to get someone on the show or doing something with a quickly dropped character that is going to take time to develop. I see the point though.

Let's Break this Down, with a review from El Guapo!
*First up was the Intro of the show. For a moment I went, 'shit, its never the most obvious person, is it???' But nope, was not to be. The NOTCH makes his return to the world of Wrestling, in a good role for him. I wondered if he was going to be the day to day man, but that was answered a little later on.
*I know you said summarized results, and probably meant that as a negative, but I for one Nick, LOVED the match length. Very readable, doesn't feel like you need to set aside an entire afternoon to get through and I didn't skim once. Oni's rainmaker sticks out in my head as a brutal lariat, and it finds its way into eliminating Billy Way. I really dug the WAY more (heh) aggressive side of Thee Billy Way. Aries and DDV are a dream feud to me. I also liked that you completely kept Oni from DDV. A story for another day. Came down to DDV and Aries and controversy was on tap as DDV got the pin, because the referee missed the foot on the ropes. Great opener for the return of AXW.
*YOU STILL GOT IT! 2MG looked dominant tonight, establishing themselves as thee team to beat, that is until the Queens Soldiers showed up and disposed of everyone! Staking a claim as the top team themselves. I kinda thought 2MG might run roughshod through AXW, so this establishment of the Queens Soldiers was necessary IMO.
*A great showcase match for the ladies, but the Story here was the sexy ginger without a name! The Anti-Woman's Evolution Character. Damn I like it. This is a smart character in the current climate of woman's wrestling. Someone that will draw the ire of everyone! (Except horny dudes, lmao) Colour me intrigued.
*The Aries / Notch segment told me one thing... DDV is getting a receipt tonight.
*The new guys had a great showcase, but that showcase definitely highlighted one Xander Blaze. Feels like this dudes going to be a big deal!
*Laux and Mathews! Now theres an interesting pairing between a couple characters we haven't seen in a while. Very curious to see what they will do as a team here.
*Everett and Butcher might have been my favourite match on this card! Is it true that EWS didn't want these guys??? Their battles on the boards, made this an anticipated match for sure and they delivered. Seriously... reading this, Floyd might be my early fav new character in AXW. That smash mouth British style, reminds me of the busier weight. That pop-up uppercut! Shit son! I popped reading that and thought fo sho it was over! I was a little surprised to see this one end clean like that, but a good win for Everett and the statement of the match was made post match with the beatdown, mount and finger spread-snapper, whatever you called it. I call it Cringe Worthy. Feel free to steal that! Great Match! This could be the division to watch!
*Loved the pacing and writing of the main event. Gotta love the heels tag up on the baby then turn on each other formula! Really liked the heel work of Hall, allowing others to do the majority of his work. Thought Graham really got to show his stuff here, and this match did a really good job setting DDV up as a top face here. DDV's Spinal Tap... god I love that move (Shameless self promotion). The chair shot from Aries might have been a tad predictable but not a gripe at all. I think an Aries / DDV program is MONEY. Hall retains (As he should), and we have a pretty good idea as a whole where this place is going.
*Great work Nick! Like I said, do not apologize for anything. That was great. Match Size PERFECT. I wouldn't change it at all!

I would like to add my thoughts to the mix, so this will be;
PEARCE'S TOP 5 THINGS he liked about #AXW75
5) The opening Swerve. I am not overly familiar with Mr. Notch, or his history in the industry, but it appears Aries is, and was none too happy with Luke Mathews final screw you to Aries in the sale of the company. Reminded me of King Ecbert on Vikings, giving the Vikings the Deed to Lands, knowing that it wouldn't be worth the paper it was written on.
4) The Queens Soldiers jumping the teams in the tag match. That tag match really highlighted that 2mg is a force here and could cut through the division like a hot knife through butter. So bringing in the Soldiers in the manner they were was excellent. 2mg clearly strike me as heels, but maybe the cool heels the Marks love? Because the Soldiers attack from behind, was definitely a heel leaning move.
3) The Mystery Red Head. Was chuffed to see that Nick was able to include this into the match. I came to him and Grims late in the game pitching this idea I had for a female character, and tossed them the basic idea. They ran with it. And the final product came out precisely as I had envisioned it. I cannot wait to help write and lend ideas to this.
2) The Opening Match/Main Event. While it was sort of on the nose that Aries would get involved and cost DDV the match, it didn't take away from the experience for me, but the entire match I read expecting to see him show up. I actually called him braining Danny with a chair too. The opener establish two good stories; Billy Way and Togo Oni and DDV and Aries. The Main Event cemented it. And it was a good rub for Graham to be in there with those guys too. Hall needs himself a few more wins like this I think, and then a clear top contender established.
1) The Xperience Title Match. Ya I know, voting my match as the cats arse is a little self serving, maybe, but I really did enjoy it best. Grims and I had a hell of a verbal exchange prior to, and it made my anticipation for the match so much more enhanced. It was a match that featured both men looking sharp and even in defeat, Floyd emerged stronger as a character than he could have possibly by winning the match. Made it easy for me to comment and see the direction for the character. That post match business was the perfect receipt and fits the character I am trying to establish perfectly. Masterful writing, and kudos to Grims for how he played it off afterwards, because this will play perfectly into a pending feud.
Brilliant show lads. I too echo that the match length was perfect. I wouldn't change a thing about it.
