Entrance Music: “Throne” by Bring Me the Horizon
Entrance Description: The lights in the arena all go out, the only thing lit is the Alternatron as smoke fills the stage and ramp. “Throne” by Bring Me the Horizon takes over the sound system. Upon the entering of the full band, Benjamin Mathews emerges from the smoke, wearing a Kings in Chaos leather jacket. He has his arms outstretched, looking intently dead ahead. When the verse starts, he makes his way down the smoky ramp, not averting his gaze in the slightest.

Biography: Wrestling is in Benji's blood. He was trained by his older brother, Luke Mathews.
In 1995, when Benji was 5 and Luke was 13, Luke started teaching Benji how to play the guitar. When Luke was released from prison and started his wrestling career, Benji was trying to make a band of his own. He started his first band at age 14, in January of 2004. He would play bass, as he preferred that over guitar. However, two months later, his mother would succumb to breast cancer. This is when Benji started getting into drugs. With Luke pursuing his wrestling career, Zoey studying in England, his father always busy as a lawyer, and now his mother passed away, he started to feel alone. It was also easier to get away with doing the drugs, since he was usually home alone. He's experimented with more drugs than he can count, but his preferred were alcohol, marijuana, and cocaine. However, he was able to turn himself around when he turned 18, or so he thought.
Drawing was another thing Benji loved, and opened his own tattoo shop in Mianus, Connecticut, where he moved to when he was 20, to live with Luke who briefly lived there. He closed his tattoo shop in February 2012. Benji would also be trained by Luke during this time, since Luke had more down time due to the closing of the xWa. Come February 2011, Benji signed a contract to CCW, not too long after his brother.
Benj had his debut match on the March 4, 2011 edition of Collision. He defeated and injured Sam Derolez. This was his first match in "the big leagues." Benj would dominate week after week. After being victorious every week, he demanded a title shot. Robbie Ferrari came out and said if Ben could defeat him, he would get a title shot against him the next week, but if he lost the title match, he couldn't challenge for a title as long as Robbie or Avian were champions. Ben would win, but would lose his first match to Robbie Ferrari for the X-Treme Championship. Ben competed in the Grand Gauntlet, but got eliminated. He was supposed to have a bout against CCW Legend Jay Burrows, but failed a drug test.
Benjamin was finally able to kick his old habits and returned to CCW in November 2011 as one of the commentators for Challengers. He left Challengers during its television hiatus, a little over a month later. He shocked the CCW Universe at Apocalypse, helping his own brother attack the Dinky Collective, signalling the rekindle of his wrestling career. He was once again released later in 2012 upon request. In 2013, he commentated for his brother's company, Alternative Xperience Wrestling. In 2014, he returned to his commentary position when AXW was brought back in EWS.
In January 2015, his AXW contract was terminated by TRENT, and Benji brought his in-ring talent to RSPW. During his time here, he won his first singles championship in the RSPW Junior Heavyweight Championship. He would also later hold the RSPW Trios Titles as the head of the Mathews Legacy.
After leaving RSPW, Benjamin remained quiet in the wrestling world. He had a one off match at AXW Supershow VIII in a losing effort against Judas Carter, which was also his first match in AXW. In January 2019, Benji returned to AXW as a full-time wrestler, competing with Brandon Laux as Kings in Chaos.
