AmericanAirlines Arena
Miami, Florida
Episode II
Mike Vincent: Welcome to the first televised episode of AXW! We are live at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, and what a show we have tonight.
Benji Mathews: We have questions that need to be answered after the Debut, like why you're still employed.
Mike Vincent: Well let's not waste any time and head straight into the first match!
"Light Up the Sky" by Thousand Foot Krutch hits as Clifford Bradley walks out onto the ramp with a sly smirk on his face. Just before the ramp, he stops and raises his arms to the sky and mutters some words.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This opening contest is a First Round AXW Championship Tournament Match set for one fall! Introducing first, weighing in at 218 pounds, Miami's own, CLIFFFOOOOOOORRRDD BRAAAAAADLEEYYY!
Clifford high fives some fans before entering the ring.
The opening beats of "Remember The Name" by Fort Minor hit the PA system as orange strobelights pulse and flicker. The Notch emerges from the back to a huge ovation from those who still remember him. He looks out into the crowd and nods his head, pointing to the sky as white pyros crack and scream on either side of him.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, from West Scranton, Pennsylvania, weighing 222 pounds, THEEEEEEEE NOOOTCH!
He walks down the ring, a proud man, slapping hands with fans as he goes. He slides into the ring and scales a turnbuckle, looking out onto the crowd with a smile before leaping off and then stretching in his corner, his music fading out.
vs.
AXW CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT - ROUND 1
Starts off with the traditional lock up, which sees veteran The Notch taking control. The Notch hits a series of moves, scoop slam, knee drop, into a chin lock. Clifford would manage to break the hold, only to be taken down with a reverse ddt. Notch remains in control. The rookie Bradley tries to get some maneuvers in, to no avail. The Notch looks to hit his Scranton Driver, which Bradley squirms out of. The Notch would turn around and receive a derogatory spit in the face, quickly followed by a roll-up, which sees Bradley using ropes for leverage.
One...
Two...
Three!
Salvatore Pellegrino: The winner of this match, Clifford Bradley!
Clifford immediately leaves the ring, leaving behind a pissed off and disrespected The Notch.
Mike Vincent: Clifford stole this from Notch! How pathetic!
Benji Mathews: It doesn't matter how you do it, what matters is that you win.
Mike Vincent: You know all about that, don't you, Ben?
Benji Mathews: When I first signed to CCW I took shortcuts and was very successful at it.
Mike Vincent: Yeah, and then you got released.
Benji Mathews: Irrelevant.
The camera cuts to the office of AXW Owner, Luke Mathews. He's at his desk, doing paperwork, when one Joe Coffey enters.
Joe Coffey: You saw what happened at the Debut, right?
Luke Mathews: What kind of question is that? What kind of person would I be if I didn't watch my own show?
Joe Coffey: Well what are you gonna do about it?
Luke Mathews: About what? The Chicks and America Bouncing Bikini Babes? Nothing. That's good for ratings.
Joe Coffey: I mean about Fallen Angel attacking Train. What are you gonna do about it?
Luke stands up and walks around his desk to Coffey.
Luke Mathews: I'll tell you what I'm gonna do about it. Absolutely nothing. Fray8train knew damn well what he was getting into. The old cliche has been thrown around so many times, this isn't ballet. This is wrestling, and stuff like this happens. I'm not doing a damn thing.
Joe Coffey: Well if you're not gonna do anything, then let me do it. I want Fallen Angel tonight.
Luke chuckles.
Luke Mathews: That's not how this works, Joe. I already have this whole AXW Championship Tournament planned out, and you're already booked for tonight. And hey, if it makes you feel any better, your buddy will be cleared to compete next week. Now please, leave and go get ready for your match.
Joe glares at Luke, before he does leave.
Luke grabs something off his desk, and walks outside his office. He hangs the object on his door, it's a sign, which reads, "KNOCK BEFORE ENTERING. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN 30 DAY SUSPENSION AND $1,000 FINE." Luke goes back in his office and slams the door.
*****COMMERCIALS*****
We return to the parking lot, where Chicks & America are having a Fourth of July Party. Hoff and Ricky are talking while Trent is grilling food. The Bouncing Bikini Babes are in their respective bikinis, bouncing on their respective trampolines.
Hoffman LeGrand: Those Bouncing Bikini Babes were a really good investment.
Ricky Diamond: Totally. Hey, sorry about the Debut man. If the Queeroes of Today weren't phased by the Babes, then they must be--
Trent Mathews: HEY! WHO WANTS BURGERS?
Everyone then crowds around Trent as the cameras cut back to the arena.
Benji Mathews: As much as I'd love to stay and hang out with you, Mick, this party in the parking lot seems much more entertaining than you.
Benji removes his headset before leaving the vicinity.
Mike Vincent: Ben! We have a show to do! This is live tv! My name isn't Mick!
The beautiful sounds of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Ode to Joy plays on the arena sound system. As if to further incur the ire of the crowd, "Mr. Integrity" Cameron Kennedy Rockefeller allows the song to play for almost a full minute, emerging at the 52 second mark of the crescendo! "Mr. Integrity" steps through the curtain Ms. Integrity behind him, and pauses, looking around at the booing crowd. He smirks slightly, soaking in their reaction, while straightening the tie of his perfectly crafted Hugo Boss suit.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This contest set for one fall is a First Round Match in the AXW Championship Tournament! Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Ms. Integrity, from Manhattan, New York, weighing in at 195 pounds, he is the United States of Integrity Champion, "Mr. Integrity" CAMEROON KENNEDYY ROCKEFELLEEERR!
He then begins to walk slowly to the ring, sneering disdainfully at those sitting ringside as he walks past, ensuring no one is close enough to touch him. As he slowly ascends to the top ring step, he pauses again and looks at the crowd, smirking again, and shaking his head. He wipes off his wrestling boots on the apron, then steps through the ropes, and holds his hands out, and tips his head back ever so slightly, with a huge smile on his face as he soaks in the crowd's hatred. He grabs the mic from Salvatore.
Cameron Kennedy Rockefeller: Before I win this match, and all my matches following, and become the Unified United States of Integrity and AXW Champion, I have something I need to say. I have been informed of some sort of "party" in the parking lot. A party involving greasy, unhealthy food, alcoholic beverages, and scantily clad women. That is not what Independence Day is about. Independence Day is about integrity, something that everyone here lacks. I dedicate this win to our founding fathers, men who had integrity, men who did not sit in a parking lot eating greasy food, getting drunk, and having sexual encounters with questionable women, if you can even call them women.
Cameron then carefully removes his Hugo Boss suit to get ready for his match. "Playing the Saint" plays, catching Cameron off guard. Duncan Aries walks out, putting his hands up, as if meaning that he meant no trouble. Duncan walks to the announce desk and has a seat next to Mike Vincent.
Duncan Aries: I noticed you lacking a commentator and I thought this would be a good time for me to come out.
Mike Vincent: Well I appreciate you helping out here.
We hear the famous words of the legendary Ric Flair and then the verse of Killer Mike. Richard Flare comes out with his HOT tag-team George Massari and two beautiful models trailing behind him. Richard Flare stood at the entrance ramp, analyzing the crowd and their response, before he closes his eyes and spread his arms wide. When he does that, fake money that has his face imprinted on them falls out of the sky and we see some of the fans trying to get it. Richard Flare then starts doing the Ric Flair strut while George and his models shake their heads as they make their way to the ring.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, being accompanied by George Massari, representing the Heroes of Today, from Norfolk, Virginia, weighing 230 pounds, RICHAAAARD FLAAAAAAAARE!
When Richard Flare is about to enter the ring, he gets a good luck kiss from one of the models and he pretends to spazzed out. The models together take off his robe, while rubbing on his body. He walks up the steel steps and wipes his feet on the apron. He enters the ring and waits for the match to start while he is rolling his wrists.
vs.
AXW CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT - ROUND 1
Before they can do anything, "My Own Worst Enemy" ensues and out walk the three members of Chicks and America, followed by the Bouncing Bikini Babes.
Mike Vincent: There's a lot of distractions going on out here, we got George Massari and Ms. Integrity at ringside, the two HOT models, Chicks and America, the Bouncing Bikini Babes, and yourself, Duncan Aries.
Duncan Aries: Yeah, there's no denying that C.K. is gonna be looking over at me every two seconds instead of paying attention to his opponent.
Mike Vincent: It doesn't really help with everyone else out here either.
Duncan Aries: But I'm his biggest threat. He's more afraid of me than five goofs and four chicks, two of which on trampolines.
One of side of the ring, you got Chicks and America and the Bouncing Bikini Babes, the other George Massari and the HOT Models. Meanwhile, Richard and Cameron aren't letting anything phase them. Richard gets control of the USofI Champ, and attempts and early Figure-Four Leg Lock, but Cameron kicks him off. Richard would stumble towards the Chicks and America side of the ring. Cameron would take advantage of the distraction, rolling Richard up for a two count.
Mike Vincent: I'm assuming you're rooting for Richard here, Duncan?
Duncan Aries: Nope. I want C.K. to go all away. I want to face C.K. in the finals. I wanna defeat him and become AXW Champion.
It doesn't take long for chaos to ensue, the HOT Models start taunting the Bouncing Bikini Babes, which leads to a cat fight. George is trying to pull the HOT Models off, while Chicks and America just stand back cheering on the Bouncing Bikini Babes. The referee gets caught up in all the ringside commotion, which leads to Cameron hitting Richard with the "inner-thigh" shot, before decking him with the brass knuckles. Cameron grabs a hold of the ref, turns him around, before pinning Richard for the three count.
Salvatore Pellegrino: The winner of this match, Cameron Kennedy Rockefeller!
Cameron quickly leaves the ring right before Duncan slides in, while HOT and C&A finally pull their respective females apart.
*****COMMERCIALS*****
We return to the parking lot, where Chicks & America have returned to their party. Interviewer Craig Brooks is seen in his underwear, trying to interview a car, clearly intoxicated. The camera pans over a bit, and we see a dunk tank, which contains an upset Benji Mathews.
Benji Mathews: Trent! For the love of God if you don't get me out of here I am telling your father!
Trent has a baseball in hand, ready to throw. He doesn't throw it, but instead nods to someone off camera. Skye Haynes walks into frame, and simply pushes the bullseye, dropping Benji into the water.
"What in the bloody hell is going on here?"
Everyone gets bummed out as James Galleon enters the scene.
James Galleon: Allow me to introduce myself. I am James Diamond Galleon. I am... the KING of AXW! I am the only true Diamond around here, not this phony bearded peasant.
Ricky Diamond: Hey! I've said it before, I'll say it again. You don't make fun of my beard, Hoff's hair, or Trent's ninja skills!
Trent pulls out his nunchucks.
Ricky Diamond: Not now, Trent!
James Galleon: Well, it has been brought to my attention by Mathews, the respectable one, not this horrible "ninja" you have here or the fool in the tank, that we are competing tonight. And I will show you and the whole world, who the real Diamond is.
James Galleon walks away.
Hoffman LeGrand: We all know it's Dilbert!
James Galleon: (from a distance) IT'S NOT DILBERT!
Trent Mathews: .......Am I really a horrible ninja?
Ricky Diamond: You're the best damn ninja I've ever seen.
The scene ends with Ricky putting his arm around Trent.
Mike Vincent: Interesting developments from the parking lot, let's head into the next match!
Dimly lit with some smoke/fog... "When the Levee Breaks" plays the drum beat and then Joe appears onstage when the band comes in.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This contest set for one fall, is a First Round Match in the AXW Championship Tournament! Introducing first representing Ground & Pound, from Helena, Arkansas, weighing 230 pounds, JOOOOEEE COOOFFEEEEYYYY!
Mike Vincent: Joe Coffey looking for some retribution after what Fallen Angel did to his partner 3 weeks ago, you know he's gonna see his opponent as Fallen Angel tonight.
He walks to the ring with a single spotlight that follows him. He climbs a turnbuckle and raises one fist looking out at the crowd with little emotion on his face.
The camera zooms in on the titantron as it shows distortion picture of Billy Way before the picture of him turns normal. "Crush Em" by Megadeth plays as Billy Way comes out, spotlight focusing on him. He has a sadistic smile and he licks his lips, imagining his opponent in pain.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, from Tulsa, Oklahoma, weighing in at 244 pounds, he is "Simply" BILLYYYYYYYYY WAAAAAAAAYYYYYY!
He dances(yes dances) his way to the ring, bopping his head to the beat. He then enters the ring and goes to the nearest turnbuckle. he slouches like Raven does, waiting for the match to start.
vs.
AXW CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT - ROUND 1
The not so happy Joe Coffey and the hungry Billy Way lock up. With the slight height and weight advantage on his side, Billy Way looks as if he's about to take control, but Joltin' Joe shows off his strength, lifting Billy into the air with a stalling back suplex. Joe dishes out his frustrations by continuously assaulting Billy, which on a number of occasions lead to Billy being forced to the corner/ropes, causing many near-disqualifications for Joe.
Mike Vincent: Joe needs to be careful, I understand he has frustrations, but if he gets disqualified he's gonna be throwing away his shot at the AXW Championship.
Billy manages to break free and get some good offense in. He wows the crowd with his Feel This! maneuver, before hitting some of his signature moves on Coffey, Billion Dollar Kick, then a Ready, Set, Go Away! then completes it with a Death Trap. Joe Coffey manages to break Billy's grip, causing Billy to ditch the hold altogether. Billy then sort of slithers his way, not into, but near a corner. Joe gets suckered in, running straight for Billy, which Billy then catches him with a quick Northern Lights Suplex, Joe collides with the turnbuckles and lands awkwardly on the mat.
Mike Vincent: Billy Way being a bit foolish not trying a cover here in my opinion, meanwhile a soaking wet Benji Mathews rejoins me at ringside. How was the party, Ben?
Benji Mathews: You shut up. You mention anything about what happened at the party and I will put you right through this God-damned table.
Billy Way taunts the crowd. He brings Joe to his feet. He sets him up for The Billy Way, a sadistic smile across his face, taking his time before executing the move, but before he knows it, Joe turns it into a Cup o' Joe, earning him a victory.
Salvatore Pellegrino: The winner of this match, Joe Coffey!
Mike Vincent: Both Ground & Pound members move on in the AXW Championship Tournament.
Benji Mathews: Keep in mind that one of them won only because his opponent let him.
Before any more can happen, the opening chill and beat of “Hell” by Disturbed comes forth from the PA system, red strobelights pulsing to the beat, a very eerie hue of red. When the guitar and roar of vocals hit, flames explode. Through the smoke comes Fallen Angel, who makes a b-line straight to the ring.
Mike Vincent: I know Joe wants revenge, but at what cost?
Benji Mathews: His career, hopefully.
Fallen Angel enters the rings, and Joe runs straight at him, but is stopped by a gnarly throat thrust. Joe is taken back a bit, and finds himself hoisted into the air for a Hell on Earth. Fallen Angel keeps the hold on for a bit, before planting Joe face first with a modified Euphoria. Fallen Angel looks as if he's going to do more damage, when suddenly "House of a Rising Drum" hits, and a man walks out onto the stage.
Mike Vincent: Here comes recent signee Mateusz Bartkowiak, wonder what his motive is gonna be.
Benji Mathews: Hopefully to help Fallen Angel finalize Joe Coffey.
Mateusz enters the ring and walks right up to Fallen Angel. The 7'0" Mateusz looks down on the 6'6" Fallen Angel. Fallen Angel laughs sadistically, before hearing him say, "You're not worth my time." With that, Fallen Angel steps on Joe Coffey before exiting the ring. Mateusz checks on Coffey before cutting to a commercial.
*****COMMERCIALS*****
We return backstage to an attractive young lady holding a microphone.
Attractive Young Lady Holding A Microphone: Hello, my name is Caitlin Shay. I'm AXW's new interviewer, who will conduct interviews alongside Craig Brooks, who I'm being told got into a fight with the car he was interviewing and stormed off to an undisclosed location. Anyway, my guest at this time is one of AXW's newcomers, Clifford Bradley.
Clifford Bradley: Yeah, can we hurry this up? You already wasted a good amount of my time with that introduction.
Caitlin Shay: Clifford you competed in front of a hometown crowd and showed your true colors by spitting in the Notch's face, following it up with an illegal pin. Why?
Clifford Bradley: I'm told I have my debut match, and it's against the Notch? The Notch? What kind of name is the Notch? He sounds like someone going through a midlife crisis still trying to be young and "cool". And at his age of 50, he probably is.
Caitlin Shay: The Notch is only 38.
Clifford Bradley: That's not the point. The point is there are plenty of people in this business way past their prime who are taking away the spotlight from the new talent who deserve it, people like me. I'll admit I used a method of winning that most people won't agree with, but with has-beens like him still trying to absorb all the attention they can get before they're completely forgotten about, you need to put them in their place. You need to take them down a notch. No pun intended.
Clifford merely walks away as we head into the next match.
The crowd is electric as "Domino" by Jessie J plays on the speaker system. The crowd cheers and Nikita Venus bounces out onto the ramp in her bright pink outfit with silver armbands and silver boots. She heads down the ramp as pink and green spotlights go around the crowd, and the fans bounce, much like her, to the beat of the song.
Salvatore Pelligrino: The following match is scheduled for one fall and is part of the AXW Women's Championship Tournament! Introducing first, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania "The Neon Goddess" NIIIKIIIIITAAAAA VEEEEEEEENUUUUUSS!
The crowd continues to pop as Nikita gets up onto the apron and walks to the middle, turning with her back to the ropes and looking out at the audience. She smiles as she does a backflip over the top rope and walks to the middle of the ring where she does a 360 and gets on one knee, pointing her finger into the air. She isn't even totally finished before being interrupted by "Ghetto Love" by Spinerrette. The crowd is mixed, but with quite a few boos as we see Misery.
Mike Vincent: It's always rude to interrupt someone's entrance with your own. She couldn't wait?
Benji Mathews: Nah, man. Misery wants to get this match started, and I can't say that I blame her.
When Misery stands on the stage, we see her in her typical dress pants, and a tattered band t-shirt. She looks around at the fans, really appearing quite bored with either them, the idea of this match, or just the whole company altogether, though we aren't really all that sure of which it is. She starts her way down the ramp, shaking her head at some of the fans, and she even sticks her tongue out at them at one point.
Salvatore Pelligrino: And her opponent, from Los Angeles, California..... MIIIIIISEEEEEERRRRYYYYYYYY!
vs.
AXW WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT - ROUND 1
Misery gets into the ring and looks at Nikita the whole time, going to the opposite corner and getting into her corner, slumping down and leaning as she waits for the bell to ring, Nikita on the other hand looking pretty pumped up. The bell rings, and the ladies lock up, Nikita getting the upper hand and sending Misery to the mat with an Arm Drag. Misery hurries to her feet and Nikita kicks her in the side, then the other side. She goes to kick with her left again, but Misery catches her foot and falls backward, pulling Nikita with her as Nikita flies forward and flips, landing on the back of her neck. Misery crawls over to her and looks to start wailing on her, but Nikita knees her and Misery rolls off of her and they both get to their feet.
Mike Vincent: Both of these women look very great so far tonight, you can tell that there's a lot on the line.
Benji Mathews: You're right for once! They both look very great, if ya know what I mean.
Mike Vincent clearly facepalms at that moment and we see Misery whip Nikita into the corner. Misery then runs and appears to be looking for a monkey flip, but Nikita ducks and rolls out of the ring quickly and Misery flies into the corner, landing hard on her back after the impact, and Nikita rolls back into the ring, picking Misery up. She leans Misery into the corner and lays into her with repeated chops, the crowd pops with each one. She goes for another chop but Misery blocks it, puts her arms on the ropes and lifts her feet up, wrapping them around the neck of Nikita, then forces herself sideways and with a spin, sends Nikita to the mat with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors, then she hurries over and covers Nikita.
One...
Two...
NO!
Mike Vincent: Nikita Venus gets the shoulder up after the two!
Misery throws a few punches to Nikita, and finally gets up, pulling Nikita to her feet and tossing her over the top rope. Nikita catches herself and lands on her feet on the apron, sticking her head in to go for a headbutt to the chest of Misery, but Misery catches her with a high knee, then takes a step back, running and hitting a low dropkick to the stomach of Nikita and knocks her off the apron onto the floor outside. The ref starts the count immediately as Misery waits for a while to get a break. (....1 ....2) Nikita slowly pulls herself up using the guardrail. Misery gets out and rolls her into the ring, then slides in behind her. She goes for another cover.
One...
Two...
NO!
Nikita kicks out again, and a mixture of shock and anger come across the face of Misery. Nikita rolls near the ropes and pulls herself up. She leans on the ropes and Misery charges at her, but Nikita leans forward, scooping Misery over her and out onto the floor as the crowd cheers. Misery appears to have landed awkwardly on the outside, and she can't hold herself on her left foot very well. She leans on the guardrail to keep herself up as the count starts again. (....1 ....2) Nikita leans on the ropes opposite Misery as Misery keeps testing her foot out to see if she can stay on her feet. (....3 ....4) Misery limps a step forward and falls down, a big smile runs across Nikita's face. Misery does manage to make it to the ring apron though, and she pulls herself into the ring. Nikita stomps on her repeatedly to keep her on the ground though, and Misery can't do a whole lot to fight back.
Mike Vincent: Looks like Nikita Venus has a complete upper hand here, since Misery landed awkwardly there, she could put the match away at any second.
Benji Mathews: Yeah, Nikita should probably hurry up and put her out of her Misery.
Benji chuckles at his own joke as Nikita walks around the ring once and grabs Misery by the hair. Nikita hits one of her patented maneuvers, the Eternal Neon, and covers Misery.
One...
Two...
THREE!
"Domino" hits and Nikita hops up to her feet, holding her arms high in victory as the crowd pops.
Salvatore Pelligrino: Here is your winner..... NIKIIIITAAAAA VEEENUUUUUUUS!
We return to the parking lot, where the party is still going on. Cameron Kennedy Rockefeller is seen passing through, looking at everyone disdainfully. He opens the door to a limo, but is attacked by Duncan Aries. Cameron gets thrown into the car next to the limo. Duncan looks to kick Cameron. Cameron moves out of the way and Duncan kicks in a window. Cameron quickly scurries into the limo, the limo taking off just as soon as Duncan gets his foot out. Duncan walks away while we go to a different camera angle. Billy Way walks uncomfortably close to Hoffman LeGrand.
Hoffman LeGrand: ..Uh...
Billy Way: I had a sip of Coffey earlier.... now I'm hungry. I would love to grill some... Hoffman Hot Dogs.
Billy Way walks away, laughing creepily. Hoffman slowly turns his head to Trent.
Trent Mathews: He's got a point. I'm gonna throw some Hoffman Hot Dogs on the grill.
Trent walks away, leaving Hoffman still creeped out.
*****COMMERCIALS*****
“Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi (Carmina Burana)” by Nota Profana begins to dynamically ring through the air as the lights dim and a curtain of golden sparks falls and blankets the entrance way. After the drums roll and the music settles into its next phase, the spark curtains begin to move to the sides to reveal James Galleon standing and smiling smugly in the entrance way wearing some fancy-looking blue robes.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This contest set for one fall, is a First Round Match in the AXW Championship Tournament! Introducing first, from London, England, weighing in at 235 pounds, "Diamond" JAAAAAAAMESSS GALLEEEOOOONNNN!
He walks down the ramp, spinning a few times to make sure that the audience is admiring his presence as a golden fireworks display goes off on the ramp behind him. He makes his way down to the ring, being sure to flirt with a couple of women and occasionally mouthing off to people in the audience and the ringside crew. Once he gets to the ring, he quickly makes his way up the stairs and along the apron, ducking between the ropes and spinning once again in the center of the ring before bending down on one knee and delivering a very regal looking bow with a smug grin on his face. He goes to his corner and jumps up onto the turnbuckle, raising his arms out arrogantly before taking his spot to start the match.
The hit Miley Cyrus song "Party in the USA" starts to play, and out walks Ricky Diamond, wearing the Chicks & America t-shirt, as opposed to his Fear the Beard t-shirt. He's carrying an American Flag, waving it around in the air.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, representing Chicks and America, from San Francisco, California, weighing 205 pounds, "The Diamond Standard" RICKYYYYYYYYYYY DIAAMMOOOONDDD!
Ricky walks to the ring, and places the flag in the gap between the stairs and post. He climbs up onto the middle of the ring ropes, and snapping his gloved hands together to form the symbol and shouts ‘FEAR THE BEARD’ along with the fans. He then rolls from the ring, removes his shirt, giving it to a child at ringside. HE also places a mock beard on the child's face, before re-entering the ring.
vs.
AXW CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT - ROUND 1
The fans start up a "USA!" chant. Ricky backs James into a corner. Ricky is forced to back off, which James then takes the opportunity to to give a good chop to the chest of Ricky, to which Ricky responds by screaming "OH LORD JESUS THAT HURT LIKE HELL!" James looks to keep in control, but doesn't. Ricky takes him down with an arm drag, followed into a headlock and headlock takedown. Ricky keeps James grounded and doesn't let him get up, unless he picks him up himself. The crowd is firmly behind Ricky.
Mike Vincent: Ricky so far showing that he is the true Diamond of AXW.
Benji Mathews: James is the true Diamond. It's part of his birth given name, Ricky just named himself that illegally.
Mike Vincent: Illegally?
Ricky starts up a "Dilbert" chant, which gets James riled up. This causes James to get more violent, vicious. James takes down Ricky with a hard clothesline, before stomping the crap out of Ricky. The ref has to physically pull James off. The chants die down which sees Ricky back in control. Ricky would climb the ropes and dive off for Flying Bearded Flipiddy Flop, but James would move out of the way. James would lock in Moonlight Sonata, to which Ricky ultimately taps.
Salvatore Pellegrino: The winner of this watch via submission, James Galleon!
We cut backstage where Dallas Hargrave is walking down a hallway.
Mike Vincent: Our main even up next, Dallas Hargrave will be in action.
Dallas turns a corner and bumps into Michael Jacobs.
Michael Jacobs: Watch where you're going!
Dallas Hargrave: Why don't you watch where you're going?
The situation gets tense. They looks as if they're about to fight, when Luke Mathews intervenes.
Luke Mathews: Guys! Not now! Dallas, go get ready for your match.
Dallas stares at Michael before walking off.
Luke Mathews: Michael, do you know anything about a parking lot party?
Michael Jacobs: You mean the one your kid's throwing?
Luke Mathews: What? Dammit Trent, I said no parties!
Luke storms off as we head to our final commercial break.
*****COMMERCIALS*****
We return to the parking lot for the final time tonight.
Trent Mathews: Chicks and dudes, all good things must come to an end. There's only one way to end this party, and that's with a bang.
Trent lights a bottle rocket. It backfires and goes through the windshield of a Chevy Suburban, which begins to catch fire.
Trent Mathews: Shit.
Luke Mathews walks into the scene, upset.
Luke Mathews: What the hell is going on here? WHY IS MY CAR ON FIRE?
Someone yells out, "DUDE, BAIL!"
Everyone attending the party run away, or get in a car and floor it. Luke is pissed beyond belief.
Luke Mathews: Damn kids!
"It's a Fight" by Three 6 Mafia plays and out walks "The American Psycho" Dallas Hargrave. He’s wearing a black sleeveless zip up hoodie [with the hood over his face] and the words “TAP OUT” on the back. He wears black MMA gloves, a black t-shirt underneath with “Full Contact Fighter” in blue and red and black and white “TAP OUT” Trunks. He walks with his head low, and lightly bounces on the soles of his feet.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This is your main event set for one fall, and is a First Round Match in the AXW Championship Tournament! Introducing first, from Boston, Massachusetts, weighing 210 pounds, "American Psycho" DALLAAAAAAASSSS HAAAARGRAAAAAVE!
He reaches the ringside area, and walks over to the bottom of the stairs. He stretches his arms out low and balls his fists tightly. All the muscles in his body tighten and his veins in his arm bulge. He lets out a primal scream, punches either side of his head and then runs up the stairs. He turns to the crowd, pulls back his hood and opens it to reveal his great physique. He enters the ring and climbs the corner raising his hands for all to see.
The opening chords of “Hide Your Tears” by Daniel Licht hit as gold and white strobelights flicker and pulse. As the song gets heavier, Jonathan Fhenix emerges in his gold trunks, matching boots, and a black sleeveless shirt with an elegant gold F imprinted on it. He pays no mind to the fans who boo him, seemingly treating them like a disease.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 240 pounds, "The Tragic Hero" JONATHAAAAAAN FHEEEEEEENIIIXX!
He takes a stroll to the ring, looking out onto the crowd with a look of disdain, followed by a casual smirk before walking up the steel steps and entering the ring. He scales a turnbuckle and looks out onto the crowd, almost feeling sorry for them, before leaping off and cracking his knuckles, preparing for his match as the music fades.
vs.
AXW CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT - ROUND 1
A very technical match, with a lot of MMA based offense from Dallas. In the end, Jonathan Fhenix is victorious via Stock Crash after Michael Jacobs walked to the bottom of the ramp, which caused a distraction to Hargrave. The show ends with Fhenix celebrating, while Dallas and Michael have a staredown.
