With the new forum and an inquiring new member, I want to take a moment to talk about AXW's status.
As of this message, AXW is inactive. You're welcome to hangout here, though note that the rules of the old forum still apply here.
The reason for the move to a new forum is due to the Zetaboards/Tapatalk merger. Places like EWS seem to not have been affected, but Tapatalk has made the AXW forum look like shit. There's also so many features removed. I tried to work around it but couldn't. It's so bad.
The forum here is set up so I can easily get to work in the event AXW becomes active again. Every section is ready to go.
I'm probably aiming at October for the next Supershow.
I'm not gonna lie to you, I want to be doing this. I want this place to be active. What I don't want is to just try to jump right back into it then get floored when the semester starts which is exactly what happened in January.
Come the next Supershow I will know whether or not I can have the time to do this. When I was putting together the Hall of Fame I was having a nice trip down memory lane. I came across the shows in the EWS era where it was bi-weekly with back to back shows on Thursday and Friday (and the overarching storylines, remember those?). I was thinking that if I go back to that format, I could pull this off (and yes Nick, I would try to get a bit of help). Looking back, I think the bi-weekly EWS era was perhaps AXW at its best, and my mindset to try to do "traditional" weekly shows after the split was really detrimental in the long run. But like I said, I'm going to wait to see what the semester holds rather than saying "YEAH I CAN DO THIS LETS GO." I'm not making that mistake again.
So in the event AXW becomes active, it'd probably be a bi-weekly venture with various other changes.
Thought I'd get a little intimate with y'all.
