That brings us to...
The new The Alternative opening video package featuring the current roster. Afterward, the cameras cut to inside the arena, panning across the crowd in attendance.
Lily Luna: For the first time in three years, almost to the day, we welcome you to The Alternative! Coming to you from AXW's new home in the Watsco Center, I'm Lily Luna and I'm joined by my new partner, former EWS wrestler Champ Cassidy. Champ, welcome to the team.
Champ Cassidy: Thanks Lily, I'm excited to start this new venture here, and I'm excited to see what AXW has to offer in this new era.
Lily Luna: It looks like we're not going to waste any time, here come the Kings.
It's not the Kings, rather solely Benjamin Mathews. He's in his ring gear, and with him is Brian Sullivan, who Benji has grabbed by his shirt, being forced to come to the ring with him. Ben rolls Brian into the ring, slides in himself, then demands a microphone.
Benjamin Mathews: I know you're here, I got a referee, so let's make this official, come out here and get your ass kicked.
Trent Mathews emerges from the back. He's wearing similar to what he was wearing yesterday, on his way down the ramp he removes his leather jacket and t-shirt, and slides into the ring. Sullivan is hesitant, but under apparent threat from Benj, calls for the bell.
The two engage in a brawl. This goes on for a while, until it appears Benjamin is winning the battle. Benjamin goes off the ropes but is caught with a European Uppercut, swiftly followed by a Rolling Elbow. Trent mounts Benjamin and starts hammering away, not caring that Sullivan has reached the count of five, and Sullivan has to pull Trent off. Trent executes a standing Trent's Twist (corkscrew senton). Trent lifts Benjamin up for a Pumphandle Drop, and then continues to punch the downed King. He sends Benjamin in the corner and runs in after, only to get a boot to the face. Benjamin follows up with a German Suplex into the turnbuckles, followed by a Running Face Wash to the seated cornered opponent.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, that's enough!"
The crowd starts to boo as Luke Mathews makes his way onto the stage.
Luke Mathews: Once again, Trent Mathews is not under contract to AXW, so I cannot let this match continue. This match is over, and quite frankly, never happened. I want both of these men escorted out of the arena immediately.
The entire referee staff as well as a whole heap of security rush the ring. They go for Benjamin first, and he does his best to fight free, but there's too many of them. Trent has come to and leaps onto the crowd, but there's enough to keep him at bay as well. They manage to get Benjamin out of the ring. Trent has managed to quickly climb to the top turnbuckle and dive outside onto the crowd of security with Benjamin. Trent has a quick few seconds where he is able to get some shots in to Benjamin before his crowd catches up and drags him up the ramp. Benjamin tries to get up and chase but his crowd of security is able to stop him. Benjamin's security takes him out by the side of the stage.
Lily Luna: More dysfunction in the Mathews' family tonight.
Champ Cassidy: Man, I was really looking forward to that match too.
Lily Luna: I'm told one of our interviewers caught Luke Mathews backstage, let's send it to Renee Peltier.
-----
Renee Peltier: Luke, do you care to comment on what just happened?
Luke Mathews: Well Benjamin Mathews is going to be fined even further, he's very close to earning a suspension. If Trent really wants to lay hand on my employees, then all he has to do is sign a wrestler's contract.
Brian Sullivan approaches the scene and Luke holds his hand out, causing him to stop.
Luke Mathews: And as for you, you should know better. What were you thinking?
Brian Sullivan: I'm sorry, sir, I wouldn't have done it but Benji threatened me, and when I wouldn't come with him he pulled me out to the arena.
Luke waves his hand forward.
Luke Mathews: Go.
Brian takes a second but keeps walking.
Renee Peltier: So is Brian Sullivan going to be reprimanded as well?
Luke Mathews: I'm giving him a free pass. For right now, Benji and Trent are barred from re-entering this facility tonight. In the meantime, I have to try to think of something to keep them apart moving forward.
Renee Peltier: Thanks for the update, Luke, I'll now send it back to ringside.
-----
You Wear A Crown (But You're No King) by BlesstheFall blast over the PA system. As the opening scream ends Mary Borden blast through the entrance curtain and starts walking towards the ring.
Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, making her AXW TV in-ring Debut, wrestling out of Fall River, Massachusetts, weighing 140 pounds, "The Twisted Joshi" MARY BORDEN!
She is grabbing and pulling at her hair and seemingly screaming at no one in particular as she reaches the ring and slides into the ring under the bottom rope. Then she sits up to her knees and throws her head back and screams again before leaping up to her feet and charging at the rope on the camera side seemingly crazed but allowing the ropes to stop her. (Nikki Cross Style)
The opening instrumental of "Yellow Teeth" by Protest The Hero plays from the PA system as the fans awaits for the arrival of Malika Flores Chen. Clips of her adult modeling and camming past(censored of course) are shown in the Alternatron before shifting to her destroying her opponents with her signature moves and finishers. Once we hear the lyrics, Malika comes out and surveys around the arena, acknowledging both positive and negative reactions she is getting.
Jen Brunelli: Her opponent, making her AXW TV in-ring Debut, wrestling out of Whitechapel, London, England, weighing 130 pounds, "Alternative Beuaty" MALIKA FLORES CHEN!
She then makes her way to the ring, trying to ignore the occasional cat calls and even giving some of the fans middle fingers before sliding into the ring like Lita. She also does the Lita style headbanging before getting up. She sneers at the referee and talks trash about her opponents as her music fades.
Sam De Santa is making her officiating debut and calls for the bell. Borden has tackled MFC to the mat and slams her head repeatedly on the canvas, before just straight up choking her. She uses all four seconds of the five before letting go. MFC is up and is struck with a Throat Thrust, before being slammed with a Fisherman Suplex w/ bridging pin, earning Borden a two count. The two are up and MFC manages to catch Borden with a Roundhouse Kick. MFC takes Borden down with a Snapmare followed by a rolling neck snap. MFC connects with an Elbow Drop before going for a pin, managing only one. MFC kicks Borden in the gut before planting her with a Sit Out Facebuster. MFC drags Borden near the corner before exiting the ring, and locks in a Figure-four leglock around the ringpost! SDS gets to the count of four, causing MFC to break it. Borden uses the ropes to help herself up, a perfect opportunity for MFC to climb the apron and lock in Exposed (Rope hung Boston crab)! Again, MFC breaks at the four count and SDS threatens disqualification, to which MFC responds with "Eat me." Borden has crawled to a corner where MFC licks her fingers, and delivers some knife edge chops. MFC pulls her out and lifts her onto her shoulders, perhaps for FU and GNite (F5), but Borden elbows MFC in the head and slips free. Borden drops MFC on her head with the Borden Family Secret (Cobra Clutch Suplex)! Borden is unable to immediately go for a cover as she needs to take the time to regroup, and that's when...
Lily Luna: Oh no...
Here she comes again, this time she stays on the stage. There's a pole used within the stage and Alternatron construction, which is perfect for this mystery woman to use as a stripper pole, and she does, doing a whole routine on that pole.
Lily Luna: Another good match interrupted, and she needs to be careful to not rip the Alternatron apart, I think that's a load bearing pole.
Champ Cassidy: There's a joke there that I won't touch.
Borden's attention has been brought to the stage, which allows for MFC to spike her with The Fuck Crusade (Inverted Frankensteiner)!
One!
Two!
Three!
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, MALIKA FLORES CHEN!
Lily Luna: MFC with the win, but spoiled by this mystery woman.
Champ Cassidy: Knowing MFC, I don't think she's gonna complain about this one.
SDS raises the hand of MFC. MFC looks on at the stripper pole routine, seemingly somewhat impressed, as we head to a break.
We return with Gina Furlow.
Gina Furlow: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm joined by Hailey Harris. Hail--
Hailey Harris: I'm just going to stop you right now. First of all, you're still here? Eugh. Second of all, whatever you're gonna ask me just isn't worth my time. Everything I had to say I said last night. I'm here for the AXW Championship, it's as simple as that. Now, if you'll excuse me, there's so many more people more important than you that I'd rather spend my time with.
Hailey walks away as cameras fade to ringside.
-----
The lights in the arena all go out, the only thing lit is the Alternatron as smoke fills the stage and ramp. “Throne” by Bring Me the Horizon takes over the sound system. Upon the entering of the full band, Brandon Laux rises from the smoke, wearing a long Kings in Chaos leather coat. He looks around at the crowd, all with a sneer on his face. He begins his walk down the ramp.
Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, representing the Kings in Chaos, wrestling out of Plattsburgh, New York, weighing 225 pounds, KING BRANDON LAUX!
Laux walks up the ring steps and stands on the middle of the apron. He outstretches his arms, soaking in the crowd's reaction. He enters the ring and stands in the center of it, extending his arms and looking toward the sky. He holds the pose until the music fades out and the lights return to normal. He removes his coat and dumps it out of the ring.
The iconic banjo from deliverance picks twice before:
"REACH FOR THE SKY BOY!"
Followed by two gun shots, before Lynyrd Skynyrd & Kid Rock's remix of "Gimmie Back My Bullets" kicks in. Southern Comfort steps through the curtains onto the ramp. The brothers wear their trademark Confederate zip up hoodies that zip all the way up over their heads. Jackson steps in front of his brother and takes a knee, stretching his arms out as Austyn stands behind him, holding up the confederate flag tied around his neck. Jackson returns to his feet and both brothers raise their arms before heading down to the ring.
Jen Brunelli: His opponent, accompanied to the ring by AXW Tag Team Champion Austyn Hughes, representing Southern Comfort, wrestling out of Knoxwood, Alabama, weighing in at 220 pounds, AXW Tag Team Champion, JACKSON HUGHES!
The brothers slide into the ring and take station on separate corners un-zipping their hoodies to reveal their faces. Jackson again stretches his arms wide as Austyn repeats the flag pose on the opposite ropes.
Near even as Laux only has one inch and five pounds over his opponent. The two lock up and neither man budges until Laux stomps on the foot of Hughes. Laux executes a variety of strikes, notably clubs and punches, before taking Hughes down with a Neckbreaker for a one count. Luax whips Hughes to the ropes and takes him down with a Dropkick. Laux lifts Hughes up and plants him with a Falcon Arrow, this time a two count from Gus Ramos. Laux tries to lifts Hughes up for a suplex, but Hughes blocks and lifts Laux for the suplex instead. Hughes traps Laux in a bearhug, before transitioning it into a Belly to belly Brainbuster, getting a two count of his own. Hughes continues his onslaught with his Heartpunch + Full Nelson Slam + Vertical Leap Senton combo. Hughes sends Laux to a corner and runs in after him, but Laux steps out of the way and Hughes collides with the turnbuckles. Laux barrels in with The Javelin (High Speed and High Impact Running Corner Dropkick). Hughes crumbles to the mat, and Laux heads to the high rent district. Laux comes off with a Diving Double Foot Stomp, yielding two from Ramos. Laux awaits Hughes to get to a vertical base, then takes him down with a Slingblade. Laux heads to the top once more, this time looking for Laux and Behold (Five Star Frog Splash), but Hughes gets his knees up, and rolls Laux up with a small package, Laux barely able to kick out. Both get up and Hughes delivers some Redneck Kung Fu (Multiple throat thrusts followed by a leaping back brain kick to the opponent's head). Hughes lifts Laux onto his shoulder and plants him with a Running Powerslam. Hughes rolls to the apron, where he delivers a Slingshot double foot stomp, getting two. Hughes sends Laux into the corner, this time hitting a forearm smash. Hughes lifts Laux onto the top turnbuckle, to set up Southern Pride (Musclebuster). Laux is able to prevent it, flipping forwards and taking Hughes down with a neckbreaker, similar to a blockbuster. Laux continues the neck attack with an Air Raid Neckbreaker. Laux suddenly and unexpectedly leaps out of the ring onto Austyn with a Tope Con Hilo! Laux slides into the ring where Hughes has gotten back up, looking to attack, but Laux takes him down with a drop toe hold, then hits the ropes, leaps up, and plants Hughes with the False Flag (Curb Stomp)!
One!
Two!
Three!
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, KING BRANDON LAUX!
Lily Luna: Even with his partner escorted out of the arena, Brandon Laux is able to bring it to the AXW Tag Team Champions.
Champ Cassidy: Laux's head seems to be in the right place, which is saying a lot considering his history, he needs his partner to focus on what's important if these two want a chance at winning the titles.
Ramos raises the arm of Laux, who doesn't stay in the ring for long as an angered Austyn Hughes enters. Laux backs up the ramp, a grin on his face.
-----
Backstage, the mystery red-headed woman is present. She's suddenly shoved.
Mary Borden: What's your problem? You seem to have a death wish.
We hear another voice say, "THERE'S THAT FUCKING BITCH!"
Olivia Paige comes rushing into the scene. The woman shoves Borden into Paige's path, causing them to collide as the woman makes her escape.
Olivia Paige: You dipshit, you let her get away!
Paige shoves Borden. Borden retaliates, now tackling Paige to the floor as officials rush in to break things up.
Jen Brunelli is stood in the ring, holding a piece of paper, which she reads from.
Jen Brunelli: Ladies and gentlemen, the following is the Ryan Richards Brand ..."Motivational Invitational." At this time would you please rise and welcome YOUR local hero, "Mr. No Days Off", "The Proud Son of Coral Gables and the Greater Miami Area", "The MAN", RYAN RICHARDS!
The Killers "The Man" kicks in as Ryan Richards comes hustling out from behind the curtain, rocking merch of the Miami Dolphins and a ‘Coral Gables’s Local Hero’ t-shirt to a chorus of boos – although it is clear he only hears cheers. He stops on top of the ramp, smiling as he looks around at the crowd, pointing out to the different sections. He looks up to the heavens, kisses his fist and points to the big man upstairs, then throws both arms overhead and makes the double rocker hand signals, and shouts WOO! He refocuses with a smile at the camera man, points and says "Time to go to work!" and runs the ramp to the ring, belly sliding into the ring. He takes time to move around to all sides of the ring, pointing at the fans, especially the youngsters, winking and shouting motivational phrases. He moves to the camera side and pulls off his Hustle-Merch t-shirt twists it and throws it into the crowd – only for it to come sailing right back a few seconds later. Shaking his head at the lack of hustle & grind being displayed by his ‘hometown’ crowd, he flexes his left muscle and points to the bicep band that reads "HARDEST WORKER" then flexes the right for the camera, pointing to the other band that says "IN THE ROOM" and shouts out a pumped up YEAH BABY! WOO! LET'S DO THIS!
Ryan receives a microphone.
Ryan Richards: Man, does it feel great to be in my home city of...
Ryan stops to look at the palm of his hand.
Ryan Richards: ...Coral Gables! Now, last night, I came up short in my chance to become the AXW Xperience Champion, but that's okay! Everyday is a second chance, not that I really need one, but I'm sure a lot of you people do. And that's why I'm out here tonight! I'm here to give you all the motivation you need to get that second chance you've been clamoring for! Like you, sir, in the front row here. If you just put down that soda, and maybe walk around the block once in a while, you could easily lose 3, maybe 4, hundred pounds! Now you might notice that there's an AXW Official in the ring with me. Sir, can you please tell us your name.
He holds the microphone in front of the referee, who has a slight Russian dialect.
Feliks Voskoboynikov: Feliks Voskoboynikov.
Ryan Richards: Alright boss, I'm gonna need you to repeat that.
Feliks Voskoboynikov: Feliks, Voskoboynikov.
Ryan Richards: VSCO... boy... Nikita Koloff? Look pal, I'm just gonna call you Jim. I got Jim in the ring with me here because at the Ryan Richards Brand, we're all about giving people a chance, which is why tonight, I am hosting the first Motivational Invitational! I welcome anybody looking for a chance to come down to this ring and prove your worth to the Ryan Richards Brand! It could be you, lard lord, or even you, Jim! I will take on all comers!
Ryan throws his microphone aside, and waits to see who might step into the ring.
"Hear Me Now" plays throughout the arena and Malcolm M. Mitchell makes his way to the stage. He takes a moment to taunt, throwing shadow punches, then runs his hands through his hair and flicks the water off his hands, keeping his arms spread with his head up, soaking in the reaction from the crowd.
Jen Brunelli: His opponent, wrestling out of Riviera Beach, Florida, weighing 214 pounds, MALCOLM M. MITCHELL!
He walks down to the ring with confidence in every step. Malcolm enters the ring, climbs to the second turnbuckle, and does the same taunt he did on the stage.
The two lock up and Richards takes the control with a side headlock. Richards utilizes this time to flex with his free arm, which allows Mitchell to lift him up for a Back Suplex. Mitchell grabs the legs of Richards and locks in a Figure Four Leg Lock, and not to be one upped by Richards' showmanship, does sit-ups with the hold applied. Richards is able to roll over, which changes the pressure of the hold, and Richards now does push-ups! Mitchell is able to crawl to the bottom rope, causing a break. Richards looks to whip Mitchell into the ropes, but Mitchell counters. Richards hits the ropes and jumps over the ducked down Mitchell, and upon hitting the other side, Mitchell jumps up to deliver his dropkick - arguably one of the best in the business, but Richards stops himself on the rope, and Mitchell crashes to the mat. Richards scoffs and says, "You call that a dropkick? Watch this!" Richards leaps up for a dropkick of his own, catching Mitchell in the gut for what Champ Cassidy calls a "piss poor dropkick." Richards pops up and says, "Now that's a dropkick!" Richards hoists Mitchell into the air with a Powerlift (gorilla press) held for up to 30 seconds, with the crowd counting along, before dropping him with a snap front powerslam, getting a two count. Richards lifts Mitchell to his feet and is caught with a surprise Jumping Shoulder Jawbreaker. Mitchell jumps as high as he can to deliver a Zigzag. Mitchell leaps high once more to deliver a Double Knee Drop to the chest, then rolls forward towards the ropes, delivering a springboard moonsault. Mitchell is eager of Richards to get up, then kicks him in the gut, runs the ropes, and starts to jump up for the Faceplant (Fame Asser), but Richards pulls him down with a schoolboy, grabbing a whole lot of tights, as Vosko makes the count.
One!
Two!
Three!
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, RYAN RICHARDS!
Lily Luna: Ryan Richards steals a win over the two-time tag champ. I think a few people saw a moon in the arena.
Champ Cassidy: Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, and Richards did just that. Needs to work on his dropkick though.
Richards has his arm raised before exiting the ring, over the moon that he won. Meanwhile, Mitchell tries explaining to Vosko that Richards grabbed his tights, but Vosko states his case that he didn't see it.
-----
Ryan Graham is backstage, and his younger brother Solomon approaches him.
Solomon Graham: Tough break last night, huh?
Ryan Graham: Could say the same to you.
Solomon Graham: A mistake I won't allow to happen again. I just wanted to give you a head's up, I'm here. I'm here to make money, win some titles, and if a certain red-haired brother steps in my way, well, I might have to show him a little... brotherly love.
Solomon smiles and gives a pat on Ryan's shoulder before walking off.
-----
The lights dim and the driving sirens of Gasoline by Porcelain and the Tramps echo throughout the arena. When the line “I'm highly flammable” plays the come back up to reveal 'The Tiger of AXW' F.M. Young standing in the 'Wonder Woman' pose, arms crossed over her chest, her head down chin resting between her fists. FM stands still like this for a moment, before lifting her head and taking an archers pose, roaring at the crowd! Young breaks the pose and struts down the walk way, popping her neck. She stops again in the middle of the ramp and thumps her chest with her fists rapidly, shouting 'CAGED UP ANIMAL!'
Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, wrestling out of Seville, Spain, weighing 206 pounds, "The One Woman Army" F.M. YOUNG!
The Big Woman starts moving again, slapping hands with fans along the way. FM gets to the ring and and leaps up the steps, leaping up to the top turn buckle where she takes up the archers pose again as the crowd cheers. The Tiger jumps down into the ring and goes to the opposite turn buckle, doing the Wonder Woman pose, before leaping down and finding a ring rope to lean against.
"Watch Me" by The Phantoms kicks in and the crowd roars. Cocky as ever, "The Whole F'N Deal" Simon York, makes his way out onto the ramp. He stops to gaze around at the crowd, lowering his aviators and giving the crowd that million dollar smile. He heads to the ring filled with swagger that borderlines cockiness.
Jen Brunelli: Her opponent, wrestling out of Cameron, North Carolina, weighing 230 pounds, SIMON YORK!
He slides up onto the apron, having a seat and facing the camera as he pops the collar to his jacket and smiles for the camera again, giving a little wink. He pulls himself up and for the first time recognizes his opponent. He motions for them to back up, before ducking into the ring, taking the corner and pulling himself up, tilting his head back and looking up into the great beyond as he outstretches his arms, soaking in the crowds reaction.
The two circle the ring before coming in to lock up. York has the size advantage and is able to get Young cornered. Brian Sullivan counts for the break and we get a clean break. York backs toward the center, and Young comes in after. They lock up once more, and York again starts to back Young to the corner. When they near it, Young kicks her foot behind her, able to place it on the second turnbuckle, and kicks forward, able to change momentum and starts pushing York back to the center. York looks to switch to the headlock, but Young is able to slip through and takes York down with a German Suplex. York is back up and is met with a Dropkick. Up once more and this time catches an Enzuigiri. Young looks to cover but York is out before Sullivan can even get to the mat. Young whips York into the ropes, on the rebound York is able to duck a clothesline. On the second rebound, York slides between Young's legs, and catches Young on the turnaround with a dropsault. York pops back to his feet and throws his arms out to his sides. Young is quick back up and is met with a Snap STO back breaker, swing out complete shot, and Koji Clutch. Young is trying to fight out of the maneuver, and nearly does, but York now applies more of a Triangle. Young is able to get her feet under her, and is able to pull York off the mat, planting him with a Powerbomb! York gets to a corner to regroup. York is able to get up somewhat quickly, and charges in at Young. Young hits him with a back elbow, then grabs his head, before slamming him down with Superchick (The Shiranui). Young follows up with Negasonic Warhead (Starship Pain), yielding a two count. Young goes to the apron and climbs the ropes, but York meets her up there. The two duke it out, but it's York who is able to deliver a Superplex! Both take a while to get up, not until Sullivan's count of seven. York manages to hit a surprise Dragon Fist (Flying Superman Punch), which makes Young spin around and land draped on the middle rope. York slides from the other side of the ring, runs, rounding the post and leaps, nailing a flying bicycle kick, landing on the apron with a smile. York re-enters the ring via Slingshot Hilo, but York is able to move away. York rolls to his feet and charges across the ring, bouncing off the ropes only to be drilled by a Man-Machine Interface (Discus Clothesline). Young pulls York to his feet, and York catches her with the Flurry of Palm strikes, giant ear clap, spinning backfist + Exploder combo. York picks Young right back up, and drill her to the canvas with the Simonizer (Styles Clash)! He rolls her over for the cover.
One!
Two!
She gets her shoulder up!
York has a moment of being stunned, before realizing he's still in position, and traps Young in the Simonized Submission (Sunset Neck Crank)! Young hollers out in pain, but after a few moments goes quiet. Sullivan shakes the wrist of Young, as he can't really raise her arm in this lock, and determines she is unable to continue and calls for the bell.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner by submission, SIMON YORK!
Lily Luna: An incredible match between these two competitors, culminating in Simon York making F.M. Young pass out.
Champ Cassidy: This is one I'd like to see again.
Sullivan raises the arm of York. York takes a few moments to celebrate, and sees Young starting to come to. He helps pull Young to her feet, and the two shake hands.
SATURDAY, MAY 23 ON EWSN
We return from break where Floyd the Butcher is already halfway down the ramp. He gets onto the apron, wipes his feet and enters the ring. Backs into the corner, raises the right index finger and mean mugs the camera before stretching out the ropes on either side of his corner.
The bell rings and the ring is empty as the lights dim.
I... am a man... of constant sorrow... I've seen trouble... all my days...
The guitar kicks in as "Man of Constant Sorrow" by Charm City Devils kicks in as the "Belt Hunter", Cody Larson comes out in his black leather jacket with grey jersey knit hood on and he is wearing all black mma style shorts and a black shirt that has an Orange target on it and the words "Belt Hunter" can be read as he motions to the fans that are booing him yelling at them.
And I... bid farewell... to old Kentucky... the place where I... was born and raised... the place... where I was born and raised...
Larson looks out at the crowd for a moment with a smug look on his face. As he starts to slowly walk to the ring. He doesn't seem to be the slightest bit affected by any of the boos or insults the crowd is throwing his direction.
For Six... long years... I've seen trouble... Little pleasures.... have I've found... For in... this world... I'm bound to ramble... I have no friends... to help me now... I have no friends... to help me now...
Larson reaches the ring as he goes to the left steps up onto the apron and spins around holding onto the top rope with one of his arms hooked around it (like Chris Jericho) as he looks out at the crowd with a smug look on his face. Then he wipes his feet as he steps into the ring through the top and middle rope.
I'm a man... I'm a man... of Constant... Sorrow...
Larson steps to the middle of the ring as the music fades out and he bounces back ant forth on his heels still wearing the leather jacket he throws a couple shadow boxing jabs and a forearm at the end as he turns to the fans and raises his right hand as the crowd boos him loudly.
Jen Brunelli: This is your Alternative Main Event set for one fall, and is to determine the AXW Xperience Champion! Introducing first, wrestling out of London, England, weighing 15 stone, FLOYD THE BUTCHER!
Floyd raises his fist, looking on at his opponent.
Jen Brunelli: His opponent, wrestling out of Sparta, Tennessee, weighing 243 pounds, "American Shooter" CODY LARSON!
Cody points at the title, and ghost-belts. Senior Official Gus Ramos shows both men the prize on the line, and raises the AXW Xperience Championship high.

The two lock up. Larson is able to back Floyd to the ropes, and upon breaking, is met with a series of European Uppercuts. Floyd locks in an Arm wringer + arm lock + snap finger separator. Floyd forces Larson to the mat with Ikkyo (elbow and wrist lock), then traps him in a Fujiwara Armbar, while also manipulating Larson's fingers. Larson is able to get to a rope. Floyd is forced to break. Larson is up and gets A British Kiss (A Stepping headbutt with KO Power), causing him to crumble to the mat and end up rolling out to the floor. Floyd goes right out after him, brings him to his feet, and tosses him into the barricade. While against the barricade, Larson is met with several more European Uppercuts. Floyd grabs Larson's head and looks to bring him back in the ring, but Larson counters it, and instead of rolling Floyd in, slams his face off the apron. Larson kicks Floyd in the gut and drives his skull to the floor with a Future Shock DDT. Larson rolls in and out to restart the count. Larson lifts Floyd up and whips him into the ring steps. Floyd ends up seated against them, and Larson comes in with a Running Dropkick. Larson finally gets Floyd in the ring, and climbs to the top rope. Larson leaps with a Frog Splash, and it connects. He hooks Floyd's outside leg for a two count. Larson irish whips Floyd to the corner, but Floyd bounces off the turnbuckles and comes barreling out, nailing Larson with a European Uppercut. Floyd has to take a moment to regain composure. He sees LArson has made his way to a corner to get up, and Floyd takes advantage with multiple Running Flying Cornered European uppercuts. Floyd lifts Larson onto the top rope before spiking him with a London Bridge (Top Rope Hung DDT). Floyd covers and gets two. Larson gets to his knees and Floyd traps him in a Side Headlock + Thumb Grind and quick Jab to the Wind Pipe. Floyd throws Larson overhead with a Release Butterfly Suplex. Floyd awaits Larson to get to his feet, he does, and Floyd rushes toward him but gets lifted and planted with a AA Spinebuster. Larson lifts Floyd to his feet and drives him with a Reverse STO into the turnbuckle, and swiftly picks him back up and sets him on the top turnbuckle. Larson climbs up with him, and brings him down with Through Fire and Flames (Avalanche Bloody Sunday)! Larson is very slow to get to the cover, but gets there, and Floyd is able to kick out at two. Both men stir, and Larson is able to get to his feet just a bit quicker. Larson looks for To The Kill (Floatover DDT), but upon landing the Floatover, is lifted up for a Northern Lights Suplex, Floyd bridging for a two count. Both are up and Floyd delivers some more European Uppercuts, these ones particularly nasty. Floyd hoists Larson onto his shoulders for Go to Europe (GTS into Pop-Up European Uppercut), but Larson is able to hook Floyd's head and get back down to his feet. Having Floyd doubled over, swiftly hooks him up, and spikes him with a Destiny Driver (Double Underhook Package Piledriver)! Larson covers.
