Watsco Center
Coral Gables, Florida
Episode LXIII
The opening video package plays, and afterward, "Raised by Wolves" continues to blare throughout the Watsco Center.
Lily Luna: Welcome to The Alternative! Coming to you on Hulu and EWSN, I'm Lily Luna joined by Champ Cassidy.
Champ Cassidy: I'm digging this new gig, we got a lot of action in store, and we're gonna kick it off with some.
We hear the electronic sounds of Deadmau5’s “Professional Griefers” and out comes “Reckless” Ryan Graham, to a somewhat mixed reaction. A mix of cheers from people who respect his wrestling ability, and boos from people who hate him for who he is. Ryan simply smirks and turns his attention to the ring.
Jen Brunelli: This opening contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, wrestling out of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, weighing 220 pounds, "Reckless" RYAN GRAHAM!
On the way down, fans are holding out their hands for Ryan to slap. He slaps a few hands on the way down the ramp and upon arriving at ringside, he leaps up onto the ring apron looking out at the people, whom are still mixed about him. He smiles an arrogant smile while wiping his feet on the apron and stepping through the ropes. He then climbs the turnbuckle. He puts his hands on his hips and shakes his head, while looking out at the people. He then leaps back down and is ready for his opponent.
"Hear Me Now" plays throughout the arena and Malcolm M. Mitchell makes his way to the stage. He takes a moment to taunt, throwing shadow punches, then runs his hands through his hair and flicks the water off his hands, keeping his arms spread with his head up, soaking in the reaction from the crowd.
Jen Brunelli: His opponent, wrestling out of Riviera Beach, Florida, weighing 214 pounds, MALCOLM M. MITCHELL!
He walks down to the ring with confidence in every step. Malcolm enters the ring, climbs to the second turnbuckle, and does the same taunt he did on the stage.
Graham extends his hand and Mitchell decides to accept it, beginning the match with a handshake. The two then circle before coming to lock up. Graham is the one to transition into the side headlock. Mitchell lifts Graham for a back suplex, but Graham flips through and lands on his feet. Graham hits the ropes, ducks a line from Malcolm, and continues to run the ropes. On the rebound, Malcolm leap frogs over Graham, then ducks down, and finally catches Graham with a dropkick. Mitchell takes a quick moment to showboat as Graham gets to his feet. The two approach again, and Mitchell gets behind Graham, taking him to the mat with an amateur style takedown. Mitchell sends Graham to the ropes and takes him down with an Arm Drag, immediately locking in an Armlock after. Mitchell places Graham's arm on the mat and tries to stomp it, but Graham is able to move. Graham now catches Mitchell with a dropkick of his own. Graham throws some punches, backing Mitchell to the ropes, before whipping him to the other side and sending him up with a back body drop. Mitchell sits up in pain and Graham now hits a dropkick to his back. Graham goes for a cover and gets two. Graham applies a Chinlock. Mitchell is able to escape it, but Graham stays on him with a Headlock. Mitchell fights his way out of it, and now Graham applies a Bear Hug. Mitchell clubs Graham in the head to escape and takes Graham down with a DDT. Mitchell pulls Graham to his feet and is met with some elbow strikes. Graham irish whips Mitchell to the ropes, and Mitchell comes back, leaping across the ring with a flying forearm smash. Both men are down and official Sam De Santa starts her count. She gets to four when Malcolm kips up. Malcolm awaits Graham to get up on his own and drills him with a Sit-out Spinebuster, earning a two count. Mitchell tries to whip Graham to the corner but Graham counters. Mitchell ends up running up the turnbuckles and takes Graham down with a Moonsault. Graham uses the ropes to get to his feet. Mitchell grabs Graham by the singlet to pull him back, then lifts him up for a Blue Thunder Bomb! Mitchell again only earns two. Mitchell goes to a corner, pulls his knee pad down, and is chomping at the bit for Graham to get back up. Mitchell darts across the ring for Sleep Tight (Busaiku Knee Kick), but Graham was able to side step. Graham lifts Mitchell up and drops him on the top rope with a Stun Gun. Graham traps Mitchell in a Sharpshooter. Mitchell hollers out in pain, but manages to crawl and finally get to the rope. Graham picks Mitchell back up, planting him with a Spinebuster. Graham goes to the apron and climbs to the top rope, wowing the crowd with a Shooting Star Press! This is only enough for two. Graham starts to lift Mitchell to his feet, where Mitchell surprises him with a Jumping Shoulder Jawbreaker. Mitchell quickly hits the ropes and is able to connect with the Faceplant (Fame Asser)! Mitchell hooks the leg!
One!
Two!
Graham's shoulder shoots up!
Mitchell can't believe it. He holds up two fingers to SDS, who confirms two. Mitchell pulls Graham to his feet, and is caught with a Headbutt. Graham quickly hooks Mitchell and delivers his Fisherman Suplex!
One!
Two!
Three!
NO! Malcolm was able to kick out!
Graham is now in disbelief, but quickly composes himself. He looks to hook Mitchell for another Fisherman Suplex, but Malcolm is able to reverse with a Fisherman Suplex of his own! Malcolm makes his way to the top rope, but Graham was able to get up pretty quickly, meets Malcolm at the top, and takes Mitchell back to the mat with an Avalanche Fisherman Suplex!
One!
Two!
Three!
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, RYAN GRAHAM!
Lily Luna: Both men brought the fight, but Ryan Graham is the one victorious.
Champ Cassidy: Not to be too biased, but I've known Malcolm since we both started in this business in EWS, I personally would love to see him get something going. Not to take anything away from Ryan, he stepped up tonight, and he certainly has a future here.
is strutting around the ring, “Professional Griefers” playing over the PA system. Sam De Santa raises Ryan’s hand and his opponent gets to his feet, still feeling the effects of the match. Ryan extends the hand for a handshake. Malcolm looks down at Ryan's hand... before nodding and shaking Ryan's hand. He then raises Ryan's hand to a huge pop. Malcolm then exits the ring and Ryan continues his celebration, strutting in the middle of the ring to cheers from the fans.

A camera is following Benjamin Mathews, who kicks in Luke Mathews' office door, scaring the piss out of Luke.
Benjamin Mathews: Where is he?
Luke Mathews: Christ, can't you knock? Where's who?
Benjamin Mathews: You know damn well who.
Luke Mathews: I don't know where he is.
Benjamin Mathews: Of course you don't. Is he even here?
Luke Mathews: I don't know if he's here or not.
Benjamin Mathews: What kind of boss doesn't even know if his employees are here?
Luke Mathews: Well, Benj, seeing as he didn't sign a contract until like 10 p.m. last night, I did not book him for this show.
Benjamin Mathews: Great security by the way. Now that he's signed an oh-so-precious AXW contract, don't hold me accountable for what may or may not happen to him.
Benjamin storms off.

The lights in the arena all go out, the only thing lit is the Alternatron as smoke fills the stage and ramp. “Throne” by Bring Me the Horizon takes over the sound system. Upon the entering of the full band, Brandon Laux rises from the smoke, wearing a long Kings in Chaos leather coat. He looks around at the crowd, all with a sneer on his face. He begins his walk down the ramp.
Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, representing the Kings in Chaos, wrestling out of Plattsburgh, New York, weighing 225 pounds, KING BRANDON LAUX!
Laux walks up the ring steps and stands on the middle of the apron. He outstretches his arms, soaking in the crowd's reaction. He enters the ring and stands in the center of it, extending his arms and looking toward the sky. He holds the pose until the music fades out and the lights return to normal. He removes his coat and dumps it out of the ring.
The iconic banjo from deliverance picks twice before:
"REACH FOR THE SKY BOY!"
Followed by two gun shots, before Lynyrd Skynyrd & Kid Rock's remix of "Gimmie Back My Bullets" kicks in. Southern Comfort steps through the curtains onto the ramp. The brothers wear their trademark Confederate zip up hoodies that zip all the way up over their heads. Jackson steps in front of his brother and takes a knee, stretching his arms out as Austyn stands behind him, holding up the confederate flag tied around his neck. Jackson returns to his feet and both brothers raise their arms before heading down to the ring.
Jen Brunelli: His opponent, accompanied to the ring by AXW Tag Team Champion Jackson Hughes, representing Southern Comfort, wrestling out of Knoxwood, Alabama, weighing 205 pounds, AXW Tag Team Champion, AUSTYN HUGHES!
The brothers slide into the ring and take station on separate corners un-zipping their hoodies to reveal their faces. Jackson again stretches his arms wide as Austyn repeats the flag pose on the opposite ropes.
The two approach to lock up, but Laux instead nails Hughes with a forearm smash. Laux continues with some various strikes before taking Hughes down with an STO. Laux swiftly follows up with a Standing Double Foot Stomp. Laux lifts Hughes back up just to take him back down with a Fisherman Neckbreaker, earning a two count. Laux sends Hughes to the ropes and delivers a Sit out Scoop Slam. Laux continues his onlsaught with an Air Raid Neckbreaker, earning two. Laux stays on the attack, delivering a Laux-down (Ranhei), another two count. Laux lifts Hughes up, and Hughes kicks Laux in the gut. Hughes runs off the ropes, and Laux catches him with the Denial of Service (Pop-Up Powerbomb), but Hughes counters it into a Hurricanrana, landing in a pin.
One!
Two!
Three!
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, AUSTYN HUGHES!
Lily Luna: Austyn Hughes catching Brandon Laux by surprise!
Champ Cassidy: Laux isn't going to be happy.
And he isn't, the celebration is short lived as Laux attacks Austyn Hughes. Jackson tries to come in to help his brother, but Laux attacks him too. Laux exits the ring, solely to grab a steel chair. He slides back in, and is about to swing, but someone else has entered the ring and hits Laux with a Superman Punch! Laux doesn't go down, but he drops the chair and is turned around, where another person knocks him inside out with a Busaiku Knee Kick!
Lily Luna: Hey wait, that's Cameron Kauffman and Shinsuke Yakamoto! Former AXW Tag Team Champions, the KnockOut Kings are back!
Southern Comfort extend their hands to show their appreciation for the save. The KnockOut Kings don't accept, they merely step back towards the ropes, and we can hear Cameron say "Keep our titles nice and warm, boys." The KnockOut Kings exit the ring, leaving the champs behind.
We return backstage with the Graham brothers.
Ryan Graham: You see that? Pure wrestling, no cheating, I won.
Solomon Graham: Good job! You beat a guy that everyone and their grandmother can beat, big deal.
"Gentlemen."
The brothers turn their heads toward an oncoming Luke Mathews.
Luke Mathews: I wanted to inform the both of you that at Horizon, an AXW Light Heavyweight Champion will be crowned. Now, I have not fully considered what the match will be exactly, but I am considering at least one of you for the match, if not both. I'll take the next two shows in consideration before I settle on what the match will be. Keep me impressed.
Luke leaves them.
Solomon Graham: That'll be easy for me, can't say the same for you.
Solomon now walks away.

Come Baby Come by K7 hits and Helena comes sliding out from behind the curtain, with her trusty golf club held over her shoulder in one hand. She skips to a stop and starts dancing along, doing what can only be called a rather hip gyrating 'crotch centric' dance. Looking every bit like a high school boy at the moment and not a female wrestler. She skips down the entrance ramp, doing crotch thrusts to the line 'Do you love me?' in the song. She stops in the middle of the ramp to swing the golf club like a baseball bat.
She moves over, slapping hands with some fans, kissing the cheeks of others and even licking one. She skips back away from the guard rails grinning after that. Moving over she jumps up to the apron and slides into the ring, strutting around, giving the golf club a few more swings. After a couple of swings, she relents and gives the club to a stage hand, before pulling off her yellow glasses and spinning them in her fingers before she sets them aside. She takes off her screw U pendant, kissing it then setting it aside to. She flexes for a moment before skipping over to a corner and relaxing until the match starts.
Lily Luna: Helena Handbasket made her AXW Debut last night in the Motivational Invitational, and tonight finds herself competing for the AXW Xperience Championship.
Champ Cassidy: She's different, to say the least. Definitely a tough task ahead of her tonight though.
The lights dim.
I... am a man... of constant sorrow... I've seen trouble... all my days...
The guitar kicks in as "Man of Constant Sorrow" by Charm City Devils kicks in as the "Belt Hubter", Cody Larson comes out in his black leather jacket with grey jersey knit hood on and he is wearing all black mma style shorts and a black shirt that has an Orange target on it and the words "Belt Hunter" can be read as he motions to the fans that are booing him yelling at them.
And I... bid farewell... to old Kentucky... the place where I... was born and raised... the place... where I was born and raised...
Larson looks out at the crowd for a moment with a smug look on his face. As he starts to slowly walk to the ring. He doesn't seem to be the slightest bit affected by any of the boos or insults the crowd is throwing his direction.
For Six... long years... I've seen trouble... Little pleasures.... have I've found... For in... this world... I'm bound to ramble... I have no friends... to help me now... I have no friends... to help me now...
Larson reaches the ring as he goes to the left steps up onto the apron and spins around holding onto the top rope with one of his arms hooked around it (like Chris Jericho) as he looks out at the crowd with a smug look on his face. Then he wipes his feet as he steps into the ring through the top and middle rope.
I'm a man... I'm a man... of Constant... Sorrow...
Larson steps to the middle of the ring as the music fades out and he bounces back ant forth on his heels still wearing the leather jacket he throws a couple shadow boxing jabs and a forearm at the end as he turns to the fans and raises his right hand as the crowd boos him loudly.
Lily Luna: Cody Larson has been making a name for himself in AXW, competing on every show thus far and as Mike Vincent said last night, the first person to win the Xperience Championship on The Alternative.
Champ Cassidy: This is his second defense of the title, after seven defenses he'll be on the hunt for another title.
Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall, and is for the AXW Xperience Championship! Introducing the challenger, from Pandora's Box, weighing 115 pounds, HELENA HANDBASKET!
Helena straight up walks across the ring, looking at herself in the reflection of the title on Larson's shoulder. Brian Sullivan is able to get her back across for Larson's introduction.
Jen Brunelli: Her opponent, wrestling out of Sparta, Tennessee, weighing 243 pounds, he is the defending AXW Xperience Champion, "American Shooter" CODY LARSON!
Larson walks across the ring, his title held high, and gets right in the face of Handbasket. Sullivan creates separation before receiving the title, and holding it high.

Handbasket quickly gets behind Larson and hits him with a dropkick. Larson barely budges, and turns Handbasket inside out with a clothesline. Larson hooks Handbasket's arms and drills her with a Future Shock DDT. Handbasket is able to kick out of an early cover. Larson lifts Handbasket up, and throws her into the corner with a Buckle Bomb. Handbasket falls to her knees, and Larson lifts her up with a Falcon Arrow. Larson hops to the top rope and jumps off with a Moonsault, earning two. Larson whips Handbasket into the corner. He runs in after, and Handbasket moves out of the way. Handbasket looks to deliver a Monkey Flip, but Larson catches her, and dumps her over the top rope. Handbasket was able to hang on and stay on the apron, where she locks in a S.N.A.F.U. (Tarantula), breaking at the count of four. Handbasket leaps over the top rope and is able to catch Larson with a Slingshot Code Breaker. Larson forcefully kicks out before a count can be established. Handbasket ducks a clothesline that is thrown her away and nails Larson with a Superkick! Larson ends up falling through the ropes and out of the ring. Handbasket tries to dive out onto Larson, but Larson catches her, and drives her back into the ring post, then straight up scoop slams her onto the announce table. Larson slides into the ring, allowing Sullivan to count Handbasket out. Larson leans in a corner as he watches Handbasket, who manages to get back into the ring at twelve. Handbasket is near a corner when Larson goes to approach her. Larson ends up getting a face full of middle turnbuckle when Handbasket catches him with a drop toe hold. Handbasket stays on the attack with a Chaos Box (High knee, usually to a cornered opponent), dropping Larson to a slumped position. This allows Handbasket to follow up with Blurred Lines (Goldust's Bronco Buster). Handbasket grabs the arm of Larson and does her best to pull the 243-pounder away from the ropes, where she locks in the Filibuster (Gogoplata)! It's not locked in for long as Larson is able to use his size advantage to pick her off the canvas and right onto his shoulders, able to counter the maneuver with the Fate of Destiny (One Winged Angel)! Larson wastes no time in setting up and delivering the Destiny Driver (Double Underhook Package Piledriver).
One!
Two!
Three!
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, and STILL AXW Xperience Champion, CODY LARSON!
Lily Luna: Try as she might, Helena Handbasket was no match for Cody Larson tonight.
Champ Cassidy: Didn't go down without a fight though, and you gotta respect that.
"Man of Constant Sorrow" takes over as Sullivan hands Larson his title. Larson elects to not celebrate this one, simply leaving the ring and making his way up the ramp.
-----
We go backstage to the one and only Craig Brooks.
Craig Brooks: I'm very excited about my guest tonight, Floyd the Butcher!
Floyd the Butcher looks pissed off. He usually does, but this time is much more noticeable.
Craig Brooks: Mr. The Butcher, if that is your real name, I must ask - whereabouts is your deli? I'm in the market for some good chuck steak. A little ground beef wouldn't hurt either, maybe some tenderloi--
Floyd, very un-amused, ends the interview by dropping Craig with a European uppercut. Floyd steps over the carcass of Brooks as we head to break.
The lights dim and the driving sirens of Gasoline by Porcelain and the Tramps echo throughout the arena. When the line “I'm highly flammable” plays the come back up to reveal 'The Tiger of AXW' F.M. Young standing in the 'Wonder Woman' pose, arms crossed over her chest, her head down chin resting between her fists. FM stands still like this for a moment, before lifting her head and taking an archers pose, roaring at the crowd! Young breaks the pose and struts down the walk way, popping her neck. She stops again in the middle of the ramp and thumps her chest with her fists rapidly, shouting 'CAGED UP ANIMAL!'
Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, wrestling out of Seville, Spain, weighing 206 pounds, she is "The One Woman Army", "The Tiger of AXW" F.M. YOUNG!
The Big Woman starts moving again, slapping hands with fans along the way. FM gets to the ring and and leaps up the steps, leaping up to the top turn buckle where she takes up the archers pose again as the crowd cheers. The Tiger jumps down into the ring and goes to the opposite turn buckle, doing the Wonder Woman pose, before leaping down and finding a ring rope to lean against.
F.M. Young has perhaps never rolled her eyes harder in her life than this moment when she hears her opponent's entrance music.
Several seconds after "Heavy" by Collective Soul begins to play, Kurt Hullum makes his way out onto the stage. He hops from foot to foot, getting amped up for his performance. He begins to make his way down to the ring, and around the 20 second mark of the song, when there's that very short pause before the verse starts, Kurt stops dead in his tracks and throws his arms out to his sides. Shortly after the verse starts, Kurt continues his path to the ring.
Jen Brunelli: Her opponent, wrestling out of Santa Monica, California, weighing 236 pounds, KURT HULLUM!
Kurt goes up the ring steps, walks across the ring apron towards the far ring post, and steps onto the second turnbuckle. He doesn't do a pose, rather he scans the crowd as the fans give their reactions, and if his opponent is already in the ring, gives them a quick staredown before stepping onto the top rope and dropping down into the ring. Hullum makes his way to a corner, steps onto the second turnbuckle, and throws his arms out to his side once again. He steps down, and does any last minute stretching before the match begins.
Lily Luna: There is quite a history between these two rivals, F.M. Young was only able to hold the BWF World Championship for five minutes before Kurt Hullum cashed in a contract on her.
Champ Cassidy: Well this is AXW, let's see what happens here.
The two foes lock up, and it's the larger Hullum backing Young to the ropes and hitting her with a couple of chops. Young turns the tables, cornering Hullum and chopping him. Hullum manages to grab the head of Young and slams it on the top turnbuckle. Hullum backs off a bit for some momentum, then comes back in to get a boot to the face. Young pulls herself to the top rope, leaps off, and catches Hullum with a Flying Headscissors. Hullum ends up near the ropes where Young clotheslines him over the top rope. Hullum is able to hang on and stay on the apron. Young runs to the opposite ropes to gain speed, before taking herself and Hullum to the floor with a Spear (a la Big E)! Young shook herself up a bit, but is able to get up rather quickly. She sends Hullum back into the ring and climbs up to the top rope. Young leaps off once more, this time Hullum catches her mid-air with a Dropkick! Hullum looks to send Young to the ropes but she shifts the whip, sending Hullum instead. Hullum springboards off the bottom rope and catches Young with a Back Elbow. Hullum grabs the head of Young and executes a Neckbreaker. Hullum steps up to the second turnbuckle, where he pulls off his elbow pad, tosses it at a rising Young, before jumping and driving the point of his elbow into her dome. Hullum goes for a cover and gets two. Hullum traps Young in an Abdominal Stretch, clubbing at her ribs. Young is able to display some of her strength by slamming Hullum with a hip toss to break the hold. Hullum avoids a strike, quickly getting behind Young and drilling her with a Snap Belly to Back Suplex. Hullum tries to lock in the Golden Gate (Muta Lock), but Young fights him off before he can properly set it up. Hullum then hoists Young onto his shoulders and we experience some Turbulence (Airplane Spin). Hullum sets her down, both dizzy, but Young is the one to capitalize with a Man-Machine Interface (Discus Clothesline)! Both remain down for a moment, but Young remains in control, hooking Hullum's head, running up the turnbuckles for Superchick (The Shiranui), hooking a leg for a two count. Young is all business as she lifts Hullum up for a German Suplex, holds on, and then picks him up for a Dragon Suplex. She's not done there, she lifts him up once more, this time being a Powerbomb, forcing Hullum to the canvas. Young attempts another cover, a two count from De Santa. Hullum seems to be in good enough position, allowing Young to deliver Negasonic Warhead (Starship Pain), except no one is on the other end to receive it. Hullum quickly gets on the attack, spiking Young with a Crash Landing (Snapmare Driver). Hullum hooks both legs, but it's still not enough to put Young away. Hullum signals for the end, as he grabs Young's head and starts to twist for the Kurtain Kall (Hangman's Facebuster), but Young counters it with a backslide. There's no pin as the backslide was merely a means to prevent the Kurtain Kall, both competitors are right back up and Young stuns Hullum with an Enzuigiri. Hullum is suddenly elevated on Young's shoulders, as she delivers the Human Error Processor (Assault Driver)! Young heads right out to the apron, climbing to the top rope, and executing a Battery Powered Bombshell (Shooting Star Senton)!
One!
Two!
Three!
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, F.M. YOUNG!
Lily Luna: F.M. Young making a statement with that BPB.
Champ Cassidy: And impressive match and win, surely she'll come in contact with gold sooner than later.
Sam De Santa raises the arm of F.M. Young. Young looks at the downed Kurt Hullum, and can't help but crack a smile. Young climbs a turnbuckle and does the Wonder Woman pose as cameras fade backstage.

A camera is following Olivia Paige, who kicks in Luke Mathews' office door, scaring the piss out of Luke.
Luke Mathews: Fuck's sake! Why's everyone gotta be so dramatic?
Olivia Paige: Who is she?
Luke Mathews: Who's who?
Olivia Paige: The fuckin' Wendy's-ass bitch interfering in all my matches! You do pay attention to what's going on around here, right? Does she even work here?
Luke Mathews: Oh right, yes she does work here. Her name is--
Mary Borden suddenly storms in, slamming her hands on Luke's desk.
Mary Borden: I want her head!
Olivia Paige: Don't you have manners, bitch? Wait your turn!
Luke Mathews: Alright, before things get too out of hand, I propose putting the situation at hand on the back burner. On the next set of shows both of you will be competing in matches to determine the contenders for the AXW Women's Championship at Horizon.
Olivia Paige: If she costs me one more match... I'll just say you better have a hearse on standby.
Livy storms out of the room. Borden slowly backs out of the room, not breaking eye contact with Luke. Luke sighs, opens up a desk drawer, and pulls something out. He blows the dust off of it. He stands up and makes his way to the door. He hangs the object on his door, it's a sign, which reads, "KNOCK BEFORE ENTERING. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN 30 DAY SUSPENSION AND $1000 FINE." This brings back memories to the AXW Faithful who remember a similar moment from AXW Episode 2. Luke looks at it for a second, and reaches into his pocket, pulling out a Sharpie. He adds another zero, making it a $10000 fine.

"Watch Me" by The Phantoms kicks in and the crowd roars. Cocky as ever, "The Whole F'N Deal" Simon York, makes his way out onto the ramp. He stops to gaze around at the crowd, lowering his aviators and giving the crowd that million dollar smile. He heads to the ring filled with swagger that borderlines cockiness.
Jen Brunelli: This is your Alternative Main Event and it's set for one fall! Introducing first, wrestling out Cameron, North Carolina, weighing 230 pounds, he is "The Whole F'N Deal" SIMON YORK!
He slides up onto the apron, having a seat and facing the camera as he pops the collar to his jacket and smiles for the camera again, giving a little wink. He pulls himself up before ducking into the ring, taking the corner and pulling himself up, tilting his head back and looking up into the great beyond as he outstretches his arms, soaking in the crowds reaction.
To the opening beats of “Fight” by Icon For Hire, pink strobes pulse and flicker. The silhouette of one Hailey Harris is seen and then the lights go up to her smirking face under a pair of pink shades. Harris saunters to the ring, ignoring the chorus of boos.
Jen Brunelli: His opponent, wrestling out of Baltimore, Maryland, weighing 123 pounds, "The Long Shot" HAILEY HARRIS!
Entering the ring, she tosses back her arms and lets out a scream, before tossing her shades into the crowd and removing her ring jacket, “Fight” fading out as she stretches in her corner.

The match opens with Hailey on the offensive, nailing York with a crescent kick just as the bell rang and proceeding to do her damnedest to back him into the corner with a flurry of buzzsaw kicks. Simon has no real choice but to relent and back up, he hits the turnbuckles and Hailey finishes her chase with a corner splash she turns into a snappy hurricanrana! Simon goes flying across the ring, but rebounds pretty handily, this time up and ready for Harris's assault! This time, York catches Harris's kick, and decides to start his lower body work over, and take out Hailey's vertical base as early as he can, treating the captured limb to a knee breaker, after sweeping Harris's other leg out from under her. York continues to target Hailey's legs, dealing damage with a series of step over leg breakers. Simon looks to put Harris away early, dragging her in to attempt a Thin Red Line (Reverse Figure 4 deep heel hook combination), that is until Harris yanks her legs back and bridges up with a mule kick that nails York right in the gut. Hailey capitalizes on the shift with a snap DDT, then she bolts up and over to the turnbuckle. York right behind her, looking to perhaps take out Harris's legs again, only to be brought down to a sliced bread #2. Harris follows up with a top rope leg drop, but the effort of jumping, climbing the turnbuckle and the leg drop seems to have taken it out of her. York is still on the ground so Harris makes a move and busts out a standing moonsault, that she wraps into a quick pin attempt. The attempt gets a one point five count that visibly frustrates Harris, who gets to her feet favoring her right knee. The damage to her knee doesn't really seem to slow Harris, who continues to press her advantage and York, by backing herself into the ropes and slamming into York with a rope assisted flip splash. Again, it seems Hailey's leg is paining her and she rolls out of the flip holding her knee, York hefts her up, and instead Harris turns it into flying headscissors, which topples York into the ropes! Harris looks to go flying into him again, but York manages to kick a leg up and stop her in her tracks with a back kick! The tides turned in his favor York uses the ropes to baseball slide himself right into Harris's knee! They land in a crash of bodies, with York the first up, getting a hold of Harris's bad leg, dropping it hard into the mat. He follows up with yet another step over leg breaker, just relentless on Hailey's knee, tugging her into a Boston crab, that he locks in with a grin and wink to the camera. Hailey writhes and shouts, but squirms her way over to the ropes, despite Simon fighting her she clings on and forces the break. Simon lets go, but when Hailey refuses to let go of the ropes, York moves to make her, and falls right into Harris's trap, relying on the ropes and her core strength instead of her legs, Harris nails Simon in the head with a powerful kick! Then she dives through the ropes and rolls outside for a little bit of separation. York grins at the camera again and makes a gesture, as he looks to follow her out with a suicide dive! But the move whiffs! Hailey had the wherewithal the dive out of the way and York goes crashing to the ground. Harris pulls him up in his dazed state and plants Simon back to earth again with a Steel DT (Steel Step Leaping Tornado DDT) as Gus Ramos hits four on the twenty count! Harris has trouble hefting York back up to roll him back in the ring and for a moment it looks as if she might not be able to, or York might manage to fight back, but Harris nails him with a couple of stiff punches to his injured noggin. Ramos warns her to open her hand and Harris just waves at him, he tells her that he's at the count of ten now. Harris definitely springs herself up into the ring with the ropes and touches her feet to the mat, making Gus Ramos stop the count. Then she hauls herself to the corner and mounts the turnbuckle again. Simon York is in lala land as a result of face planting on the concrete then being introduced to the steel steps, for a moment it seems he might manage to gather himself to roll away as he begins shifting. Just at that moment Hailey Harris comes crashing down on his dreams of a win with Hailey's Comet (450 Splash)!
One!
Two!
Three!
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, HAILEY HARRIS!
Lily Luna: An absolutely huge win for Hailey Harris, backing up her motive of going for the AXW Championship.
Champ Cassidy: If you thought Hailey was all talk, perhaps you should reconsider. Simon York is no slouch, and Hailey was able to craft a big win here.
Hailey gingerly gets to a vertical base. Gus Ramos attempts to raise he hand but she yanks it away. We can hear Hailey yelling, "You're looking at the next AXW Champion! Not him, not F.M. Young, me! Your Notorious Double H!" She looks down at Simon, and blows him a kiss before carefully exiting the ring.
Lily Luna: That does it for The Alternative! There's one set of shows remaining before Horizon and AXW's landscape solidifies!
