Episode XV
After pyro blasts from the stage and the cameras pan across the crowd, we rest on the announce table.
Lily Luna: Hello everyone and welcome to Episode 15 of The Alternative! I'm Lily Luna.
Chris Pierce: And I'm Chris Pierce.
Lily Luna: We're your new commentators for The Alternative, and we're gonna start the show off with an explanation from Cletus Mathews.
Out walks Cletus Mathews, sporting a shorter hair cut as opposed to the longer hair he's had, and he's carrying a chair, the one he used to attack Luke Mathews with. Cletus sets the chair up in the ring and takes a seat on it.
Cletus Mathews: All my life, I've been picked on, I've been made fun of, because I'm not like everyone else. My ma always told me that I was "special", and that's why I was in special ed and not regular classes like the normal kids. Growing up I was always the odd one out because of my mental handicap. I've never wrestled with or against any of my cousins... why? Because I'm not the sharpest bulb in the shed? I've always been by myself while they all wrestled together....
Chris Pierce: Can I just point out he said "sharpest bulb in the shed?"
Lily Luna: Don't make fun of him. He's having a very sensitive moment right now.
Cletus Mathews: ....You know, I have no memory of my life before the age of five... people always ask me if I were dropped on my head, and well, I was. My ma told me that it was cousin Luke who dropped me on my head. (Cletus stands up) Which is why I dropped Luke on his head on this chair. My last name is Mathews but I certainly don't feel like one. All the other Mathews got to wrestle together in CCW, on Fury, while I've always been left by myself. No more. Y'all will rec-a-nize the name Cletus Mathews, proud member of Team TRENT.
Cletus drops his microphone and folds his chair back up, taking it with him as he leaves the ring.
Lily Luna: Shocking discovery revealed by Cletus, he was dropped on his head as a kid by his cousin Luke Mathews. I don't know what to make of this information.
Chris Pierce: Doesn't surprise me, Luke once attacked Madden O'Reilly's parents in their own home, this man has sympathy for no one.
Lily Luna: Switching gears, let's head into our first match.
Tag Team Match
The Young Gunnz vs. Hand of Blood
The Hand of Blood, still not in a good mood since they lost their titles, don't even allow a match to begin as they both just start attacking the Gunnz Brothers before a bell can be rung. The Young Gunnz try to fight back, and are giving it all they have, but Hand of Blood are just too pissed off to be phased by their attacks. Jason temporarily stabilizes Matthew Gunnz with a spin-out powerbomb. The Bloodhounds of AXW plant Nick Gunnz with a Perdition, then bring their attention back to Matthew. Inferno locks Matthew in the Bloodless Death, while Jason also applies the Pyrolysis, when combined it's a maneuver they call A Vision of Fire. Suddenly, the duo submission maneuver is broken up by Ian McTavish and Connor Riordan as they storm the ring and bring the fight right to Hand of Blood. Riordan stomps away on Inferno to ensure he doesn't get up. Meanwhile Jason takes no shit from McTavish as he clutches him by the throat. McTavish steps on Jason's foot, then quickly runs off the ropes. Connor comes in from behind, hitting a chop block while McTavish leaps into the air with a busaiku knee kick, taking the big man out with the Call of the Kingdom. Inferno is to his feet and looks for a double clothesline, the Cripplers ducking and taking Inferno down with a Beefeater. The Kingdom stand tall in the ring while Michael Blythe grabs a microphone.
MATCH RESULT: Never began
Michael Blythe: Hand of Blood, I don't care how intimidating you boys think you are, you simply are not. I don't care about your title loss, I don't care about your feud with the Push. I do care about you sticking your noses where they don't belong. When my Cripplers are doing their business within these ropes, and you're not the ones on the other side of their crippling, then you have no business to come out here. Come on, boys.
Michael drops the microphone and escorts his team back up the entrance way.
Lily Luna: The scheduled match was supposed to be Hand of Blood vs. Young Gunnz, and the Kingdom Cripplers interjected themselves, so... doesn't that sort of make Michael Blythe a hypocrite?
Chris Pierce: Michael Blythe was making a statement that his team is not one to mess with. Plus, the match never started, so no, he's not a hypocrite. When there's not a match going on, then it's fair game.
Lily Luna: Fair enough, I have no argument for that.
We head backstage.
-----
Gina Furlow: Ladies and gentlemen, Caitlin Shay.
The camera pans over to see Caitlin Shay. She's looking off in the distance, with an unpleased look on her face.
Gina Furlow: Caitlin, last night you tried to attack Hai--
Caitlin's head darts to look Gina in the eye as she interrupts her.
Caitlin Shay: That's what you wanna talk about? I could be in my private dressing room drinking some Starbucks and browsing Instagram, but I'm forced to come out here to be asked dumb questions by a Caitlin Shay wannabe?
Gina has a face as if she's trying to quickly decide what part of that to dissect.
Gina Furlow: You have a private dressing room?
Caitlin Shay: Yes, it's in my rider along with -- look, nevermind that. What really bugs me about your question is that there was a lot more that happened before that. I've worked just as hard-- no, harder than Hailey has yet Hailey gets all the praise. I'm not just gonna sit back anymore, I'm taking action. I'm the next in line for an AXW Women's Championship Match. Hailey was pandering to that loser crowd, then had the audacity to disrespect me, which is why I had to put her in her place.
Gina Furlow: But, she was the one that had the upper hand. It was you who--
Caitlin Shay: I'm not gonna stand here and continue to be disrespected by some third rate interviewer. I have a match up next.
Caitlin looks as if she's about to walk away, but turns back and gives a hard slap across Gina's face! Gina is shocked by this as Caitlin walks away.
Singles Match
Caitlin Shay vs. Janet Hurricane
A rematch from last week's Alternative, the ladies lock up. Almost the exact same height and weight, Janet shows that she has the better strength, slowly forcing Caitlin to her knees. Or maybe Caitlin was showing that had more smarts, as she headbutts Janet in the gut and connects with a bridging fisherman suplex only getting her a one count. Caitlin remains in control as she plants Janet with a spinebuster. Caitlin drives Janet's head into the mat with a single underhook DDT. Janet starts to get up and before she can fully stand, Caitlin hits her with a pele kick, the top of Caitlin's foot catching the back of Janet's head. Caitlin now takes this time to remind the crowd that she gets a title shot, while Janet gets none. Caitlin heads up top and looks for a diving crossbody but Janet side steps, Caitlin crashing to the mat. Janet springboards off the rope and catches Caitlin with a Beautiful Disaster. Janet starts getting fired and takes her down with a snap suplex, a reverse DDT, a spinning backbreaker, a Tropical Storm, and a Last Breath of Air. All this getting her only a two count. Janet gets Caitlin out on the apron, setting her up for a Cry of Terror, but Caitlin pulls herself back out onto the apron and just straight up punches Janet in the temple. Janet stumbles back and Caitlin springboards back in with a headscissors that sends Janet face first into the top turnbuckle. Caitlin runs off the ropes and hits a forearm smash to the cornered Caitlin, then pulls her to the middle of the ring to hit the Shayplex. At this time, Caitlin gets distracted as she sees Hailey Harris make her way out from backstage. Caitlin approaches the ropes by the entrance way as she starts yelling at Hailey. This allows Janet to sneak in with a 15 Seconds of Faming, pinning Caitlin for the victory.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, JANET HURRICANE!
Lily Luna: As much of a bitch Caitlin is, she really is improving in the ring.
Chris Pierce: But she's got to keep her focus and not allow Hailey to get to her. If you wanna become a champion, you can't let your guard down for a second, especially if you're in the ring with a former champion and one of the best wrestlers on the roster in Janet Hurricane.
Lily Luna: I'm just happy I don't have to share a locker room with Caitlin.
After the match, Janet exits the ring and stops when she gets to Hailey. She looks at Hailey, then at the AXW Women's Championship, then at her own wrist (as if she's wearing a watch), then back at Hailey. The camera picks up Janet saying, "Not much longer til I get my one-on-one rematch.
With that, we cut backstage.

Max Kilburne: I'm standing here with the AXW Champion, Crash Jackson. Crash, I wanna ask about this whole thing with the allegiance with Luke Mathews and the challenge to TRENT and Bruiser Lazzou, but I've just been informed that in tonight's Main Event, you will be facing one half of the EWS World Tag Team Champions, Sin City Shooters Club member, TOA. Can I get your thoughts on that?
Crash Jackson: TOA doesn't intimidate me. No one does, for that matter. TRENT keeps trying to put me in matches with people who are supposed to be these great, dominant, destructive forces... but he's too... what's the word... blind? Ignorant? Stupid? Let's go with all of the above - he fails to realize that I, myself, am this great, dominant, destructive force. If I could take a moment to be a broken record and remind everyone, specifically TRENT, that about 7 months ago I absolutely DESTROYED Crest Silver. Where's Crest Silver now you ask? No one knows. After all this time, he still has not been heard from. That's how dangerous I am. And I have nothing more to say about us calling out TRENT. All the cards were laid out, the four of us vs his team. Obviously his team is at a handicap, and I'm not just talking about Cletus.
With that, we head back to the ring.

Triple Threat Match
Morgan Page (w/Stella Quinn) vs. Olya Oglovska vs. Mariposa
Mariposa is no stranger to AXW, as she appeared in the original fed in 2013. She quickly forms an alliance with Morgan Page to try to neutralize Olya, the duo taking Olya down with a double suplex. They follow that up with a double hip toss then double clothesline her over the rope and to the floor. Morgan sprints off the opposite ropes and takes Olya down with a suicide dive. Mariposa comes over the top rope with a tope con hilo taking them both out. Mariposa rolls Olya into the ring only to get a one count. Mariposa looks to stay in control but Olya hits her with a Soviet Sickle. Olya takes her down with a Russian leg sweep. Morgan looks to re-enter herself into the match but Olya lifts her onto her shoulders with a rolling fireman's carry slam. Olya now starts throwing suplexes at anything that moves, Fisherwoman for Mariposa, Dragon for Morgan, Sambo for Mariposa, Wheelbarrow for Morgan. Olya sets Mariposa on the top rope and is looking for a superplexed, but is stopped when Morgan starts clubbing her in the back. Morgan climbs up with them and brings Olya back down with a super back suplex. Mariposa quickly leaps off the top rope, landing on Morgan with an Avión for the victory.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, MARIPOSA!
Lily Luna: A successful re-debut for Mariposa here tonight.
Chris Pierce: But let's not take anything away from Olya Oglovksa, she was taking out everyone, and wasn't the one who got pinned.
Mariposa celebrates her win and high fives some fans as we head into commercial.
Renee Peltier: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is Luke Mathews. Luke, can you give us your thoughts about what your cousin Cletus Mathews said earlier?
Luke Mathews: Well, the incident in question took place 23 years ago. I was 10. Cletus has been made well aware that it was an accident, I didn't mean to drop him on his head, and I still feel bad about it to this day. That was not Cletus talking out there, that was Trent talking. I know Trent is using and brainwashing Cletus to pit him against me. At the end of the day, I know that it was an accident, Cletus knows it was an accident, and Trent, your time is running out.
With that, we head back to the ring.

AXW Light Heavyweight Championship
Jay Blazenwing (c) vs. Damien Steele
Jay comes out of the gate swinging, throwing all sorts of kicks, that lead into the Blazen-kick Combination. Jay hits two consecutive Northern Lights suplexes, and looks for a third, but Damien counters into a package DDT. Damien hits a Northern Lights suplex of his own, bridging into a cover for barely a two count. Damien is a man on a mission trying to get his title back, throwing out big moves such as an F-5, a Falcon Arrow, Avada Kedavra, Falling Paroxysm on the apron, and an Avalanche TKO. Upset that he can;t seem to put Jay away with any of these, he argues with the ref, before seeing Jay is in a good position for a Loony Stomp. Damien runs off the ropes and Jay pops to his feet, looking to hit the Legacy Effect, but Damien manages to catch his foot. Damien throws the foot, causing Jay to spin around and Jay instead nails him with a Blazenwing, and a release Blazen-plex. But why stop there? Jay climbs to the top rope and flies off with a Flight of the Phoenix, securing his title.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, and STILL the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, JAY BLAZENWING!
Lily Luna: A successful title defense from Jay Blaze tonight.
Chris Pierce: Arguably the MVP of Supershow V, but this match was all Damien Steele. He barely holds onto the title.
After the match, Jay Blazenwing makes his way to the back and Justin Wyndham makes his way down to the ring. Justin looks at Damien who is starting to stir, and starts to re-enact the opening segment of The Alternative Ep. 11, but with the roles reversed. Justin forms his hand in the shape of a gun, pulls the trigger, goes off the ropes and looks to hit Damien with his own move, the Loony Stomp, but Damien manages to avoid it. Damien and Justin start to get into a fist fight, which Justin starts winning, until TOA slides into the ring and it turns into a two-on-one beat down. They beat up Justin, until a point where TOA holds Justin in position for a Loony Stomp. Damien backs himself into a corner and looks ready to stomp, until...
Out walks Fredrick Wyndham! Fredrick rushes down to the ring and starts bringing it to the Shooters! The Wyndham Brothers eliminate the Shooters from the ring and stand tall inside the ring. The Shooters back off near the announce table area, as TOA has a match to get ready for.

We cut backstage where we see AXW Tag Team Champions The Push and a cardboard cutout of Taylor Swift.
Jimmy Reynolds: Really? You're still doing this cutout thing?
Timmy McDermott: Well, the real T-Swift told me she would've been here, but she said she had to do a concert in Rio de Janeiro.
Jimmy Reynolds: Are you sure it was Taylor who told you that and not Craig Brooks again?
Timmy scratches his head as he ponders that.
Jimmy Reynolds: Anyway, as the AXW Tag Team Champions we know that we now have a target on our backs. I'm sure the Hand of Blood still want their rematch, and did you see what the Kingdom Crashers did earlier?
The Push's promo is interrupted by the Young Gunnz, who step right in front of The Push as they address your camera.
Matthew Gunnz: Michael Blythe, you say that the Kingdom Cripplers are not a team to mess with, well, neither are we.
Nick Gunnz: That's right. See, we could've taken out Hand of Blood on our own, you stuck your noses where they don't belong.
Matthew Gunnz: And when we get done with the four of you, we are coming for the AXW Tag Team Championships!
Jimmy Reynolds: Guys, we're right here...
Timmy McDermott: Plus, you guys got detroyed by Hand of Blood...
The Young Gunnz leave, ignoring The Push, leaving the tag champs confused as we head into our final commercial break.
TOA is already in the ring, pacing back and forth as he never left ringside from the Wyndham altercation.
Jen Brunelli: This is your Main Event scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, already in the ring, accompanied by Damien Steele and representing the Sin City Shooters Club, from the Isle of Samoa, weighing in at 280 pounds. he is one half of the EWS World Tag Team Champions, the "Samoan Executioner" TOA!
Jen Brunelli: And his opponent, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 258 pounds, he is the AXW Champion, "The Titan" CRASH JACKSON!
"Remedy" by Seether blasts out throughout the arena as ‘The Titan’ Crash Jackson walks out to the top of the ramp. He bounces from foot to foot psyching himself up for his match. He tenses his body up and then throws his arms out to either side and lets out a mighty roar while a small pyrotechnics display goes on right behind him. He starts making his way down to the ring slapping hands with some of the fans on his way. Crash slides in under the bottom ropes to enter the ring. He goes over to a turnbuckle and climbs to the second rope. He beats on his chest with a clenched fist and then throws the same fist up into the air, oozing with pure intensity as he yells out to the crowd. Crash jumps down from there and readies himself in his corner to start the match.
MAIN EVENT
Non-Title
TOA (w/Damien Steele) vs. Crash Jackson
TOA starts attacking Jackson, looking to get some frustration out after being one-upped by the Wyndham brothers moments ago. TOA hts a number of short arm clotheslines before hitting Jackson with a gordbuster. TOA hits the series of various suplexes he calls the Toa-Plex. TOA runs off the ropes and gets caught with an uppercut from Jackson that staggers him. Jackson now runs off the ropes only for TOA to plant him with the Warrior Slam. TOA connects with an exploder suplex that sends Crash Jackson across the ring. Jackson uses the corner to help himself up and gets rocked by a forearm smash, followed by an Execution Kick from TOA. Jackson falls to the mat and is propped up against the bottom turnbuckle. TOA rubs his boot across Jackson's face for some facewashes before going across the ring and sprinting full speed back into Jackson with a Samoan Wrecking Ball. Only getting a two count of that sequence of moves, TOA lifts Jackson up for a Samoan Drop but Jackson slips down and counters with a swinging neckbreaker. Jackson connects with two unreleased belly-to-belly suplexes and released on an overhead belly-to-belly. Jackson is now getting fired up and is asking for TOA to bring it. TOA runs at Jackson for a clothesline but he ducks it. TOA turns back around and gets rocked by a Smashed Mouth, Jackson immediately going off the ropes and brings TOA down with a Blind Rage. Jackson brings TOA to his feet only to slam him back down with the Demolisher. Jackson then drives TOA headfirst into the mat with a slingshot brainbuster. Jackson whips TOA to the ropes, Jackson then runs the adjacent ropes setting up for the Pulverizer, however, on Jackson's side, Damien Steele ducked down out of view and grabs Jackson's foot. Jackson doesn't immediately trip, rather stumbles toward the middle of the ring and gets run over by TOA. TOA lifts Jackson up and plants him head first with an Island Driver, pinning him.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, TOA!
Lily Luna: TOA just defeated the AXW Champion! Not without the aid of Damien Steele of course, but regardless, that may have been enough to put TOA in title contention.
Chris Pierce: If only Cole Haywood were out here, this was a perfect "I didn't see nothin'" moment. However, Bruiser Lazzou still has his AXW Championship rematch that he has yet to utilize, so if so, TOA will have to wait.
After the match, TOA looks down on the fallen champion, while TRENT walks out onto the stage, clapping and showing his approval for TOA.
