Episode XVI
Lily Luna: Welcome to The Alternative! I'm Lily Luna with my broadcast partner Chris Pierce, and Chris, there's a lot going on in AXW right now.
Chris Pierce: One of those things is AXW's Tag Team Division, and we're gonna kick the night off with what should be an outstanding match.
Tag Team Match
The Kingdom Cripplers (w/Michael Blythe) vs. Hand of Blood
Ian McTavish starts the match off with Inferno. Ian immediately gets Inferno to the mat with a fireman's carry takedown, and looks to lock in a cross armbreaker but Inferno gets free. Ian looks to kick Inferno in the gut, but Inferno catches the foot, so Ian turns it into an enzuigiri. Inferno is groggy and Ian runs off the ropes, and is caught by Inferno for a back body drop. Inferno hits Ian with a shining gamengiri followed by mounted punches. Inferno whips Ian into the HOB corner and comes in with a stiff clothesline, before tagging in in Jason. Jason gets on the second rope and Inferno lifts Ian onto Jason's shoulders, Jason connecting with a pin-out powerbomb from the second rope. Jason hits one of his favorite moves, 5 Gutwrench Suplexes in a Fucking Row, then a fallaway tiger suplex into the turnbuckles. Jason looks to hit the cornered McTavish with a big body splash but McTavish gets out of the way. Ian tags in Connor, who hits Jason with a rolling European uppercut, a rolling elbow, and a calf kick, with the latter finally taking the big man down. Connor sets up for a Northern Lights suplex, but Jason just throws Connor into the air and lets him free fall back to the mat. Jason whips Connor into the ropes, Connor springing back and hitting a front dropkick, causing Jason to stumble backwards into the ropes. Inferno tags himself in, unbeknownst to Connor. Connor runs at Jason, Jason pops him into the air, catching him in a powerbomb position, then turns him around for an electric chair position. Inferno dives off the ropes and the Hand of Blood connect with Last Offices. Inferno goes for the pin, however, on the outside Matthew Gunnz hits a superkick to Ian McTavish, while Nick Gunnz breaks up the pin, attacking Inferno.
Jen Brunelli: Here are your winners as a result of a disqualification, HAND OF BLOOD!
Lily Luna: I'm not sure why the Young Gunnz decided to interject themselves, but I'd be lying if I didn't say that I love me some Young Gunnz.
Chris Pierce: Whether you're happy to see them or not, they had no business being out here.
Nick quickly gets Inferno out of the ring, and catches an oncoming Jason with a superkick. Nick and Matthew hit Early Onset Alzheimer's to Jason, not once, not twice, but three times before he goes down. The Young Gunnz stand tall in the ring as they motion that they are going to be the next AXW Tag Team Champions.

We cut backstage where we see the Push, who just watched what happened on a monitor.
Jimmy Reynolds: We sure do got a lot of people of people coming for us, don't we Timmy?
Timmy McDermott: Yup. But we're not worried, you send Hand of Blood our way, and we'll beat them.
Jimmy Reynolds: Again.
Timmy McDermott: You send The Kingdom Cripplers our way, and we'll beat them.
Jimmy Reynolds: Again.
Timmy McDermott: You send The Young Gunnz our way, and we'll beat them.
Jimmy Reynolds: For the first time.
Timmy McDermott: You send The Yuganagi Twins our way, and we'll beat them.
Jimmy Reynolds: Uh, they're not here anymore.
Timmy McDermott: You send The Armada our way, and we'll beat them.
Jimmy Reynolds: They haven't been here in like a year. Plus we beat them several times.
Timmy McDermott: You know why we'll beat all those teams, Jimmy?
Jimmy Reynolds: Because there's one thing that we have that they don't.
Timmy McDermott: That's right, we have Taylor Swift cardboard cutouts.
Timmy brings a Taylor Swift cardboard cutout into frame. Jimmy sighs and face palms.
Jimmy Reynolds: That's getting kinda old, Timmy. Plus, the thing we have that they don't is the AXW Tag Team Championship.
Timmy McDermott: I'm pretty sure they don't have Taylor Swift cardboard cutouts either. So we have two things that they don't have!
Jimmy sighs again as we go back to ringside.

Singles Match
Ryan Starr vs. Ryuji Fuyuki
Jay Blazenwing was on commentary for this match. The two Light Heavyweights shake hands before locking up. Ryan takes Ryuji to the mat with a Northern Lights suplex. The two get to their feet and Ryuji hits Shoot Kicks to Leg and Chest followed by a Spinning Back Kick to Ryan. Ryuji looks to whip Ryan into the ropes but it gets reversed. Ryuji gets to the ropes and connect with a Damage Reflex. Ryuji whips Ryan to the corner and connects with a handspring back elbow. Ryan slumps down into the corner and Ryuji climbs an adjacent turnbuckle, before leaping all the way across the ring with a corner to corner dropkick. Ryan rolls out of the ring, and is immediately taken out with an Asai moonsault. Ryuji rolls Ryan into the ring. Ryan uses the ropes to help him up while Ryuji runs off the opposite ropes to get some momentum, only for Ryan to get his boot up, and uses the momentum from that to backflip over the top rope to the apron. Ryan immediately springboards back into the ring connecting with a flying forearm. Ryan connects with a swinging neckbreaker, then stomps on the leg of Ryuji. Ryan lifts him up and connects with a dragon screw leg whip, then tries to lock in A Starr to Remember, but Ryuji kicks him off. Ryuji tries to run at Ryan but gets caught in an Exploder suplex into the turnbuckles. Ryan lifts Ryuji onto the top turnbuckle, then brings him back down with a springboard frankensteiner. Ryan now exits to the apron and climbs to the top rope, looking to set up Burning Flames, but Ryuji, quick as a cat, climbs up with him and brings him down with a Flight of the Phoenix for the victory.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, RYUJI FUYUKI!
Lily Luna: An impressive match up between both men, one has to wonder which one is next in line for a Light Heavyweight Title shot?
Chris Pierce: Ryan Starr has been here longer and has proven to be impressive, but if Fuyuki can continue to impress like this he'll get his shot in no time.
Jay Blazenwing: I look forward to whichever of these men I face, hell, I'll fight them both.
The two competitors again show good sportsmanship by shaking hands after the match.
We return backstage to Brad Adams.
Brad Adams: My guest at this time is Bruiser Lazzou. Bruiser, we know you still have an AXW Championship rematch, we're all wondering when that's going to take place?
Bruiser Lazzou: If you really need to know, it will be the Main Event of AXW Supershow VI.
Brad Adams: Okay, next question is, --
Bruiser Lazzou: I don't have time for this. All you interviewers are the same, and quite frankly not worth my time.
Bruiser walks off as we head to the next match.

AXW Adrenaline Championship
Jean-Pierre Frontenac (c) vs. Mateusz Bartkowiak
JPF starts the match by throwing punches at MB, until MB picks him up in a spinebuster. MB goes off the ropes and takes JPF back down with a clothesline. MB lifts JPF up and plants him with a flapjack. MB hits an STO and follows that up with a pumphandle slam. MB climbs to the top rope and connects with a Polish Hammer, then picks JPF up for a Flagpole Crash for a two count. MB lifts JPF back up who hits a European uppercut from out of nowhere. JPF locks in a cravate then delivers multiple knees to MB's head. JPF then transitions into a hammerlock which turns into a hammerlock DDT. JPF shows off some of his strength with a delayed gutwrench throw and a double powerbomb. JPF whips MB to the ropes and tosses him up to the air, hitting a European uppercut on his way down. JPF decides it's time to finish it, as he pulls down his knee pad and backs to a corner. Suddenly, we hear a voice coming through a megaphone.
Voice: Can I have everyone's attention please!
The voice belongs to David Slayton, as he walks onto the stage with a megaphone in one hand, and a long piece of paper that is comically trailing behind him.
David Slayton: I have stayed up all night compiling a list of Reasons Why JPF Sucks. Reason Number One: He smells like rancid cheese. Reason Number Two: He eats snails. Reason Number Three: He is a coward. Reason Number Four: He is a disgrace to the Adrenaline Championship. Reason Number Five: Armbar... oh wait, that was supposed to be part of another list I was working on. Moving on, Reason Number Six:...
David doesn't get to reveal Reason Number Six, as the distracted JPF finally is brought down to the mat with a DDT from MB, who immediately follows it up with the Handbrake locked in deep in the middle of the ring. JPF has no choice but to tap out.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner as a result of a submission, and the NEW AXW Adrenaline Champion, MATEUSZ BARTKOWIAK!
Lily Luna: Mateusz Bartkowiak wins his second Adrenaline Championship, and much like the first time, he wins it from JPF on an episode of The Alternative.
Chris Pierce: Let's not ignore that David Slayton had no right to come out here and whine about him not being in the title picture.
Lily Luna: He wasn't whining about not being in the title picture, he was listing reasons why JPF sucks.
Chris Pierce: You got to read more than just the front cover of the book, Lily.
Mateusz celebrates his second Adrenaline title win before exiting the ring.
David Slayton: Hey Jean, now that you're no longer champion, I guess I can get a title match now, huh?
David backs his way up the stage, smiling as the cameras cut to MB celebrating on the outside, before cutting backstage.

We're in the locker room of the Sin City Shooters. Damien is still livid about his loss last night, and that's when TRENT walks in.
TRENT: Gentlemen, we got a big match coming up next, you're gonna be at ringside, right?
TOA and Damien look at each other confused.
Damien Steele: What?
TRENT: ...You guys are members of Team TRENT, right? We got a match up next...
Damien Steele: Just because we have a thorn in our side who happens to be on Team Luke does not mean we are on Team TRENT. Frankly, we don't give a rat's ass who runs this place, we're here for our own reasons. We aren't Team TRENT, we aren't Team Luke, we're Team Shooters.
TRENT: Do you know who you're talking to?!
TOA steps in front of Damien, getting right into TRENT's face.
TOA: He's talking to a twig who I can easily break in half if I don't get my AXW Championship Match.
TRENT: W-what do you mean your AXW Championship Match?
TOA: I beat the AXW Champion, therefore I get an AXW Championship Match.
TRENT: But, Bruiser Laz-
TOA: You think I care about some washed up lobster? AXW Supershow VI, make it a Triple Threat Match, or there will be NO AXW for anyone to fight over.
TRENT: ....Fine.
TRENT, not happy, leaves the room.
MAIN EVENT
Six Man Tag Team Match
Luke Mathews, Justin Wyndham, & Crash Jackson (w/Janet Hurricane)
vs.
TRENT, Bruiser Lazzou, & Cletus Mathews (w/Olya Oglovska)
Unfortunately, the match does not even begin as all members of Team Luke attack Team TRENT as they enter the ring. All eight people are engaged in a fight, with bodies going everywhere. Cletus takes out Luke with a Piledriver. Justin Wyndham and TRENT trade fists on the outside of the ring, until TRENT throws Justin into the ring steps. Crash Jackson spears Bruiser Lazzou through the barricade. Janet and Olya both go through the announce table as Janet connects with a fisherman suplex. Cletus and TRENT team up on Luke, Cletus holds Luke in place so TRENT can nail him with a Trentsetter. Justin slides into the ring and tries to fight but gets double teamed by TRENT and Cletus. That is, until Fredrick Wyndham slides into the ring, wearing a "Team Luke" shirt, showing his allegiance to Team Luke. The Wyndham Brothers hit TRENT and Cletus with stereo World's Most Wanteds, as they both stand tall in the ring after all the chaos.
Lily Luna: Team Luke is now up 5 members to Team TRENT's 4, not looking good for Team TRENT now. Goodnight, ladies and gentlemen.
