Supershow VI
A voice is heard.
"One: The start of a new generation. Two: The Wolf shows his true colors. Three: The World Warrior slays the Wolf. Four: A Bruiser takes his place on top on the mountain. Five: The Titan knocks the Bruiser off the mountain. Six...
The final chapter of AXW in EWS."
Pyrotechnics blast from the stage, ramp, and ring posts, before the cameras pan across the crowd.
Mike Vincent: Tonight will be a historic night for Alternative Xperience Wrestling. Every title is on the line, welcome ladies and gentlemen to AXW Supershow VI. This will be the final AXW Supershow for the foreseeable future, because when the clock strikes midnight after RISE, AXW will no longer be an EWS brand. We're going all out with this card tonight, which means we're going all out on commentary as well. I am Mike Vincent alongside my broadcast partner Cole Haywood, and we're also joined by The Alternative's commentary team, Lily Luna and Chris Pierce.
Lily Luna: Despite what may or may not happen to EWS, AXW will continue to operate as an independent company.
Cole Haywood: One has to question who's gonna be running this company when AXW goes back on its own? It's been a year now since TRENT started distancing himself from Luke Mathews, and it comes to a head at Rise, winner takes all.
Chris Pierce: I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting bored listening to all this jibber-jabber, let's get to the action!
The cameras show the cables suspended over the ring, with the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship hanging in the middle, before cutting to the stage.
"We Are The Future" by Crossfaith begins to play and at the opening screams of the song, "The Rising Phoenix" Ryuji Fuyuki comes jogging out from the back with a smile, flashing the fans a double peace sign while bobbing his head to the music as he runs around ringside, tagging hands with the fans before running up the ring steps, jumping over the top rope and climbing to the nearest turnbuckle where he gives the fans a double peace sign as he basks in their adulation before running the ropes a couple of times, pausing, and dropping to his knees with a double peace sign high in the air looking up at the heavens as the fans shower him with blue and gold streamers as the music dies down.
As Love The Way You Hate Me by Like A Storm plays as Ryan comes out from behind the curtain. He stands and looks out into the crowd. He then runs down the ramp, hitting hands with the fans and slides into the ring. Then he goes up onto the ropes and bounces on them, trying to get the fans all hyped up for the match. He then jumps in the ring a little to get warped up to face his opponent.
The lights in the arena all cut to black and the Tron comes to life, pulsating with a ice blue light as a quiet beat gets louder with every flash. It gets faster and faster, and louder with each pulse, until the pulsating light explodes into the words "Blazenwing Rises" and “The Phoenix” by Fall Out Boy blares across the arena sound system.
You are a brick tied to me
that's dragging me down
Strike a match and I'll burn you to the ground
We are the jack-o-lanterns in July
Setting fire to the sky
He-here comes this rising tide
So come on
PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT!
The stage fills with smoke and the crowd rises to their feet, cheering loudly, as the smoke clears on the stage and a man in a black and silver clamped trench coat stands, head down, facing the Tron. He raises his hands and snaps his fingers, causing four loud bursts of pyro to ignite, two on each side of him, before spinning around Y2J style to reveal Jay Blaze!
Cross walks and crossed hearts
and hope-to-dies
Silver clouds with grey linings
So we can take the world back from the heart-attacked
One maniac at a time we will take it back
You know time crawls on when you're waiting for the song to start
So dance alone to the beat of your heart!
His sunglasses shining with the glare from the arena lights, Jay looks to the left, then to the right, nodding towards the crowd before walking down the ramp. After stopping to slap hands with a few fans, Jay moves towards the ring steps and hops up and down a few times in front of them before quickly racing up the steps to the apron side facing the stage. He stops and pulls his sunglasses off, then tosses them behind his head into the crowd before leaning down and stepping through the ropes to enter the ring.
Hey young blood
Doesn't it feel like our time is running out?
I'm gonna change you like a remix
Then I'll raise you like a phoenix
You're wearing our vintage misery
No, I think it looked a little better on me
I'm gonna change you like a remix
Then I'll raise you like a phoenix!
Jay walks across the ring and leaps up onto the second rope in the corner nearest the timekeeper, then pulls off his trench coat and tosses it towards the timekeeper. Jay smirks and points to the fans, then slaps his chest a few times and points up towards the sky, closing his eyes and saying a short prayer much like his brother is known for. Jay leaps down from the corner and immediately turns to sit down in the same corner, ala Raven. Jay then rests his head on the second turnbuckle pad as his theme fades and the crowd continues cheering.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Ladies and gentlemen, your opening contest is AXW's First Ever Ultimate X Match, and is for the AXW Light Heavyweight Championship! ...Introducing the challengers, first, from Kyoto, Japan, weighing in at 185 pounds, he is "The Rising Phoenix" RYUJIIIIIIII FUUUUYUUUUUUKIIIIIIIII!
Ryuji does his double peace sign as fans throw some left over streamers at him.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Next, from Tampa, Florida, weighing in at 195 pounds, RYAAAAAAAAAN STAAAAAAARRR!
Ryan climbs the nearest turnbuckle and raises his fists into the air.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, weighing in at 207 pounds, he is the defending AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, JAAAAAAAAAAAY BLAAAAAAAZENWIIIIIIIING!
Jay pops up from his corner and throws a shadow elbow.
The bell sounds and there's a staredown between the three men, as they try to figure out who's gonna attack who. Starr and Fuyuki end up teaming together to take out Blazenwing for the time being. The duo hits a flash kick (Fuyuki)/Russian leg sweep (Starr) combo. They double clothesline Jay over the top rope. Fuyuki goes to the apron, and stands on the second rope, pushing it down, while pulling up the top rope. Starr darts across the ring and goes through the ropes and Fuyuki's legs with a suicide dive. Fuyuki, still holding onto the ropes, looks back to make sure both are getting up, then springboards onto both of them with a moonsault. Fuyuki gets back on the apron and climbs the turnbuckles, then reaches for the cable and starts to monkey bar his way across the ring. Starr gets back in and grabs at the legs of Fuyuki, trying to pull him off, Fuyuki releases his grasp to hit Starr with a headscissors. Fuyuki gets back up and gets nailed with a front dropkick by Jay. Fuyuki stumbles back into the ropes and bounces off them, getting caught up in the Blazen-kick Combination, then Jay hits Ryuji with Rolling Butterfly Suplexes and a Double Underhook DDT. Jay then gets rocked with an enzuigiri from Ryan. Ryan springboards of the second rope and connects with a tornado DDT to Jay. Ryan starts to climb a turnbuckle from inside the ring, only to get stopped by Jay. Jay hooks Ryan, then Ryuji comes along and grabs Jay from underneath, powerbombing Jay while Jay hits a reverse suplex to Ryan from the top rope. Ryuji makes his way to the top turnbuckle and starts to make his way across the cable. Ryan and Jay start to get up, and they try to grab at Ryuji's feet, but Ryuji very carefully pulls himself up and jumps off the top of the cable with a 450 splash, taking down Ryan and Jay. Ryuji and Jay are the first to get back up, with Ryan starting to come to. Jay nails Ryuji with a Legacy Effect from out of nowhere. Ryuji is groggy then gets double legged by Ryan who locks in a Starr to Remember. Jay takes this opportunity to climb up to the cables, but Ryan finally sees him and releases the hold. Ryan climbs to the cables from the opposite side as Jay, and the two meet in the middle at the title. They try to kick each other down, and it's Ryan who gets in a good kick to Jay's face which knocks him down. Ryan unhooks the belt and falls back down to the mat.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, and the NEEEEEEEWWWWWW AXW LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, RYAAAAAAAAAAAN STAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRR!
Mike Vincent: Ryan Starr makes history tonight as he walks out of AXW's first ever Ultimate X Match as the Light Heavyweight Champion.
Lily Luna: If these three men choose to continue their careers in AXW after the split from EWS, then certainly this is only the first of many great encounters between the three.
Cole Haywood: These three men are just bringing the Light Heavyweight Division down, they'll never be the champion Damien Steele was.
Chris Pierce: Damien did set the record for the longest reign at 130 days, I'm looking forward to see if Ryan Starr can top it.
"Love the Way You Hate Me" blasts through out the arena once again, as Ryan Starr celebrates with his newly won championship. Jay Blazenwing, while upset about his loss, does offer a hand shake to Starr, as does Ryuji Fuyuki, as we cut backstage on the sportsmanship of the three men.

We open backstage where we see Jimmy Reynolds playing his NES on an old Zenith console television. As the camera gets closer, we see that Jimmy is playing the classic game, Gauntlet. Behind him, caressing his Taylor Swift cardboard cutout is Timmy McDermott, both men with their AXW Tag Team Titles secured around their waists. Jimmy finishes his game and turns the NES off, turning to us with a smile, trying to ignore his best friend and tag team partner who is in his own Taylor Swift world as usual.
Jimmy Reynolds: “Man, there’s nothing like getting ready for a gauntlet match by playing the game that started it all, Gauntlet! Do you feel that, Timmy? There’s electricity in the air tonight!”
Timmy McDermott: “Um, sure, I guess. What does Gauntlet have to do with our gauntlet match tonight?”
Jimmy Reynolds: “Well, if you stopped trying to give yourself the first case of corrugated disease you’d understand.”
Timmy McDermott: “Sigh, fine. Taylor, I’ll catch you later, I have to be all professional and stuff now. Yeah, I agree, he’s such a buzzkill, if he only knew that he could be getting down to this-sick-“
Jimmy Reynolds: “Alright, that’s quite enough.”
The crowd laughs and cheers as Timmy points out to the crowd.
Timmy McDermott: “Hey, Jimmy, the Pod People from the year 1980-15 love us!”
Jimmy Reynolds: “That they do, even without you holding a cardboard cutout. I tried telling you that.”
Timmy McDermott: “Maybe they love us so much we can say whatever we want!”
Jimmy Reynolds: “Maybe. Let’s try. The Hand Of Blood doesn’t stand a chance against the power of The Push!”
The crowd cheers.
Timmy McDermott: “Yeah, and we think it’s pretty lame that the Kingdom Cripplers go around injuring defenseless castles and thatch roof cottages! Yeah!”
The crowd cheers, but some laugh.
Jimmy Reynolds: “And The Young Gunnz-“
Timmy McDermott: “Want their testicles laminated!”
The crowd, not sure what to make of that last one, goes silent. Jimmy facepalms.
Timmy McDermott: “Ok, so even Pod People of the future have standards.”
Jimmy Reynolds: “All that you fine, fine people need to know tonight is that we’re not into letting people down, because at the end of the day, we are your AXW Tag Team Champions, the one, the only-“
Both Jimmy and Timmy: “THE PUSH!”
Jimmy and Timmy stand back to back, doing an old school hip hop pose as we return ringside.

Jen Brunelli: This next contest is a Tag Team Gauntlet Match and is for the AXW Tag Team Championships! Before the match, the four participating teams selected a number between one and four at random. Introducing the team that drew Number One...
As California Love blast through out the arena both the Gunnz brothers walk out to the stage and stand there nodding to the song.
Jen Brunelli: From Malibu, California, at a combined weight of 415 pounds, the team of Nick and Matthew, THEEE YOOUUNG GUUUUUUUUUNNZZZ!
Then they both sprint to the ring and slide in then pop up to face other and at the same momentum they leap up and high five each other. Then walk over to the corner to ready themself for the match.
Jen Brunelli: Introducing the team that drew Number Two...
The lights dim and start flashing from blue to red to white as "Battle Flag" by Lo Fidelity Allstars begins to play as "The Manchester Masochist" Michael Blythe leads Ian McTavish and Connor Riordan towards ringside as none of them are focusing on anything but the task at hand.
Jen Brunelli: Accompanied to the ring by "The Manchester Masochist" Michael Blythe, from the United Kingdom, at a combined weight of 407 pounds, "The Aerial Argyle" Ian McTavish and "The Celtic Crippling Machine" Connor Riordan, THE KINGDOOOOM CRIPPLEEEEERRS!
Michael Blythe calmly gives his team instructions before nodding at them as they both dart into the ring, sliding in on their stomachs before popping up and heading to adjacent turnbuckles, arms pointed skyward with fists clenched as they smirk at the fans, indifferent to their reaction as Michael Blythe stands on the apron as Connor Riordan and Ian McTavish bump fists before Connor stands on the apron talking strategy with Ian stretching in the corner.
Nick Gunnz starts the match off by immediately attacking Connor Riordan with a sprinting back elbow. Nick connects with an Asai DDT, then uses the ropes to hit a tornado DDT. Nick tags in Matthew and the brothers connect with a Lights Out. Matthew pins Connor but Ian comes in with an early save. Matthew gets distracted by Ian's interference which allows Connor to hit Matthew with a backdrop suplex. Connor tags in Ian and the duo connect with a Northern Lights Suplex/Backbreaker Combo. Nick now comes in with a save. Ian runs Nick out of the ring, and when he turns his attention back to Matthew, eats a superkick. Matthew tags in Nick who springboards in the ring, taking Ian down with a clothesline. Nick looks to lift Ian up with a suplex, but Ian blocks it. Ian turns into a cutter then rolls into a Dragon Clutch, the series of moves he calls the McTavish clutch. Matthew tries to get into the ring to break it up, but Michael Blythe holds onto his leg for dear life, not allowing him to do so. Nick Gunnz is forced to tap.
Jen Brunelli: The winners of the first match as a result of a submission, THE KINGDOM CRIPPLERS!
Matthew eventually manages to kick Blythe off and enter the ring, only to be taken out by the Call of the Kingdom. The Young Gunnz roll out of the ring as we prep for the next match.
Jen Brunelli: Introducing the team that drew Number Three...
Inferno and Jason make their way from the back and walk to the ring with purpose.
Jen Brunelli: At a combined weight of 501 pounds, Jason and Inferno, HAAAAND OOOF BLOOOOOOD!
Hand of Blood enter the ring as they wait for the bell to ring.
As soon as the bell rings Jason mows over Ian McTavish. Jason busts out the 5 Gutwrench Suplexes in a Fucking Row, and tags in Inferno. Jason connects with The Backbreaker as Inferno comes flying off the top rope with The Knell. Inferno hits a Shining Gamengiri, followed by mounted punches. Inferno pulls himself to the top rope and comes off with a diving leg lariat. Inferno connects with a one armed swinging neckbreaker then whips Ian into the HOB corner and tags Jason back in. Inferno holds Ian while Jason comes in with a flying shoulder tackle. Jason gets Ian in the starting position for a powerbomb, but Ian drops to the mat and crawls through Jason's legs, trying to get to his corner, but Jason grabs his foot, stopping him. Ian turns it into a reverse mule kick then dives for the tag. Connor comes in and nearly gets decapitated from a clothesline by Jason. Jason lifts Connor up for a powerbomb but Connor gets out out of it, landing behind Jason. Connor barely manages to lift Jason up with a Celtic-Plex, then follows it up with a Shoot 2 Kill. Connor gets a two count and brings Jason to his feet, only for Jason to shove him away and tag in Inferno. Connor looks to kick Inferno in the gut, Inferno catches the foot and hits a wrist-clutch exploder suplex. Inferno sets Connor up on the top rope, then goes out to the apron and climbs up with him, setting up Laceration. During this time, Ian has the referee distracted, which allows Michael Blythe to grab Inferno's leg. Jason enters and charges at Ian, Ian pulling the rope down and Jason falling to the floor. Inferno kicks Blythe away, but Connor has climbed down, lifts Inferno onto his shoulders, and connects with a Spinal Fusion that gives him the three count.
Jen Brunelli: The winners of the second match, THE KINGDOM CRIPPLERS!
Ian and Connor regroup in the ring, celebrating their second victory, but not before Jason comes back in and takes them both out with a double clothesline. Jason helps Inferno back to his feet. Jason throws Ian shoulder first into the ring post. Jason pulls himself up and sits on the top turnbuckle, while Inferno sets Connor onto Jason's shoulders, the duo then connecting with a Perdition to Connor. Jason lifts Ian up in an Electric Chair, holding him up for Inferno who comes off the top rope completing Last Offices. The Bloodhounds leave the Cripplers laid out in the ring before they finally make their way to the back.
Jen Brunelli: ...Introducing the final team...
The lights dim as a laser light show begins, “Dance Pants” by The Push hits, Jimmy and Timmy emerging to a nice pop from the Pennsylvania crowd. Timmy has a boombox over his shoulder, Jimmy dancing around and bringing the crowd to their feet. They dance towards one another and then turn straight ahead towards the ring, Jimmy slapping hands with fans and blowing kisses to the ladies as they sing along with the song.
Jen Brunelli: From Scranton, Pennsylvania, at a combined weight of 395 pounds, they are the defending AXW Tag Team Champions, "Jumpin'" Jimmy Reynolds and "Thunderlips" Timmy McDermott, THEEE PUUUUUUUUUUUUSH!
Timmy places the boombox on the outside as they turn to the crowd, waving their arms and getting the crowd behind them. Scaling turnbuckles, The Push looks fired up before leaping off and giving each other a double high five. “Dance Pants” fades out.
The referee calls for the bell, but both members of KC are still out. Timmy McDermott looks around, shrugs, then pins Connor Riordan, hooking the inside leg.
One...
Two...
Connor hooks Jimmy's arm and turns it into a crucifix-style pin.
One...
Two...
Three!
Jen Brunelli: Here are your winners, and the NEEEEEEEWWWWWW AXW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, IAN MCTAVISH AND CONNOR RIORDAN, THE KINGDOOOOOM CRIPPLEEEEERRRS!
A chorus of loud boos ring throughout the arena as both members of The Push are absolutely shocked, even to the point where Timmy confronts the referee, who says it was three.
Chris Pierce: What a huge win for the Kingdom Cripplers. Say what you want about these teams, but this division has been on fire as of late.
Lily Luna: And hopefully that fire carries on as we head our separate ways with EWS.
Cole Haywood: And we finally have some legitimate champions in the Kingdom Cripplers.
Lily Luna: Legitimate? Did you not see Michael Blythe getting involved?
Cole Haywood: I didn't see nothin'.
Mike Vincent: Well, it's kinda fitting. On the first AXW Supershow, we had a Gauntlet Match to determine the AXW Tag Team Champions. The Cross City Stallions won with what could be considered an upset victory over Hand of Blood, and now on the final AXW Supershow, The Kingdom Cripplers did the same.
The Kingdom Cripplers regroup on the stage as "Battle Flag" has taken over the sound system. Michael Blythe proudly raises his team's hands in the air, as they raise their newly won AXW Tag Team Championships.
