AmWay Center
Orlando, Florida
Episode IV
Mike Vincent: Welcome everyone to Alternative Xperience Wrestling! We are live at the AmWay Center in Orlando, Florida, and this is the last stop before Rise!
Benji Mathews: We've been doing this for four weeks now, and this AXW Championship Tournament has caused everyone to hate each other. I've hated you well before this tournament even started though.
"This Fire Burns" rings through the arena as Luke Mathews makes his way to the ring.
Luke Mathews: ...The calm before the storm. Next week, in case you haven't heard, is our very first pay-per-view, Rise. Now, Trent, please come out here.
A few seconds pass before "Dammit" plays and Trent Mathews walks to the ring, looking kinda confused.
Luke Mathews: Now Trent, last week I told you that if Chicks and America wins, there won't be a Free Bird rule for you. Now, that wouldn't be much of a punishment for your juvenile actions if they lose. In addition to that, you will also be banned from ringside for the match.
Trent Mathews: (not holding a microphone, but still audible) Aw, come on, dad!
Luke Mathews: That's not all. The damages done to my Suburban are coming out of your pay. AND... you will be having a match at Rise.
Trent Mathews: (still not holding a microphone, but still audible) Against who?
Luke merely points to the jumbotron. After a moment, Chevelle's "Letter From a Thief" plays. A video package plays, showing clips of the one and only Sean Prodigy. The package ends with "SEAN PRODIGY RETURNS AT RISE!" The package fades back to the arena where a "Pro-di-gy!" chant has broken out.
Mike Vincent: We just found out two days ago on AXW.com that Sean Prodigy has been signed, and Luke's wasting no time putting him in action!
Benji Mathews: Let's not forget his sister, Alexis Rose.
Trent has left the ring, and it appears Luke is about to as well, until "Playing the Saint" plays. Duncan Aries walks to the ring with a microphone.
Duncan Aries: I've come to realize something, Luke. The Eternity Championship, I refuse to call it what C.K. calls it, is an officially recognized championship of AXW. How come there's no tournament for it? How come C.K. gets to hold onto it without defending it at all? He gets to hold onto it while he slimes his way up the tournament. I don't believe for one second that you guys had a falling out last week. You're trying to throw us all off to disguise the fact that you're trying to make him the face of this company.
Luke Mathews: I'm not gonna stand here listening to your conspiracy theory bullshit. I suggest you get ready for your match tonight before I completely remove you from the tournament. I mean, I have a friend of mine who didn't make the tournament who would love to have your spot.
Luke smiles at Aries. The arena errupts in boos at Cameron Kennedy Rockefeller rushes the ring, he looks to punch Aries, but Aries moves out of the way and Cameron decks Luke! We see that Aries is wearing brass knuckles, and Luke falls to the mat hard. Cameron looks shocked, but then finds himself on the mat, as Aries tries to lock him in an Ace of Spades, but Cameron squirms out and quickly leaves the ring. He runs through the crowd as fast as he can, while Duncan looks on and officials check on Luke.
Mike Vincent: Cameron's plan backfired, I assume he was trying to get revenge on Duncan from two weeks ago.
Benji Mathews: You got it all wrong, this WAS the plan. No one knows Luke more than I do and this is all just a set-up.
Mike Vincent: Well, whatever it is, I think we should take a break as officials check on Luke.
*****COMMERCIALS*****
Luke has been evacuated, meanwhile Duncan Aries hasn't left the ring.
Dimly lit with some smoke/fog... "When the Levee Breaks" plays the drum beat and then Joe appears onstage when the band comes in
Salvatore Pellegrino: This opening contest is set for one fall and is a Semi-Final Match in the AXW Championship Tournament!, Introducing first, representing Ground N' Pound, from Helena, Arkansa, weighing 230 pounds, JOOOOOEEE COOOOFFEEEEEEYYYY!
Mike Vincent: Noticeably absent is Fray8train, who is preparing for his match tonight, meanwhile Duncan Aries hasn't left the ring.
he walks to the ring with a single spotlight that follows him. He climbs a turnbuckle and raises one fist looking out at the crowd with little emotion on his face. He climbs down and walks over to Aries, pointing to the ramp, saying, "Get out before I force you out." Duncan nods his head in agreement. He takes a few steps, before turning around and lifting Coffey up for a Culmination!
Mike Vincent: Come on, Duncan! He has a match!
Duncan then leaves the ring, as Coffey's opponent, James Galleon, seizes the opportunity by running straight to the ring, pinning Coffey!

AXW CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT - SEMI-FINALS
Joe was able to kickout, but was never able to get out of the gate and ultimately finds himself tapping to the Moonlight Sonata.
Backstage we see Luke Mathews, holding an ice pack over his eye with one hand, his other hand wheeling a suitcase. Gavin Carpenter runs up to him.
Gavin Carpenter: Luke, where are you going?
Luke Mathews: I'm not putting up with this fucking bullshit tonight. Let everyone kill each other for all I care. I'm going home.
Gavin Carpenter: But... the show...
Luke Mathews: You're in charge.
Luke says nothing more as he heads into the parking lot.
Mike Vincent: Gavin's been employed for only a week, and he's in charge of everything tonght?!
Benji Mathews: Gavin has great leadership qualities.
We cut to Caitlin Shay.
Caitlin Shay: I'm standing by with Chicks and America's Trent Mathews. Trent, a lot transpiring moments ago, first off, what are your thoughts on having to compete against Sean Prodigy?
Trent Mathews: Sean's like family. I look at him like an uncle. He even helped train me. My career is under a year old, and I haven't done a lot. Dad sees this as punishment, but I see it as opportunity. When Chicks and America win the tag titles, I'm not gonna be recognized as champion, but a win over Sean Prodigy will be just as awesome.
Caitlin Shay: You seem pretty confident, Trent. You think you can beat him?
Trent Mathews: If you're a pro wrestler and you're not confident with yourself, you're not gonna get anywhere. Can I beat him? I think I can.
Caitlin Shay: Well Trent, as talented as you are, you don't really have an impressive record, plus, Luke was never able to beat Sean Prodigy.
Trent Mathews: They say, "like father, like son", but I'm not like dad. Probably because I'm adopted. But that's not the point. The point is, I will beat Sean Prodigy, and people will no longer see me as "Luke's kid", but as "Trent: The Greatest Ninja Who Ever Lived." Now if you'll excuse me...
Trent seems to whip his nunchucks out of nowhere, nearly hitting Caitlin in the face.
Trent Mathews: I have to prepare for my match.
Trent leaves twirling his nunchucks.

AXW CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT - SEMI-FINALS
Ryan Starr shows off his quick, aerial offense, but Fhenix keeps him grounded for a while. Fhenix would look for his Tragic Hero, but during the tilt-a-whirl, Ryan turns it into a small package, seeing Starr as the victor.
*****COMMERCIALS*****
We're back to Caitlin Shay, with Jonathan Fhenix.
Caitlin Shay: J--
Jonathan grabs the mic from her.
Jonathan Fhenix: You're gonna ask me about my thoughts on losing, aren't you Caitlin? See, they call this place an "alternative experience", but there's nothing different about this place. Even the interviewers ask the same dull questions. This place is built on comedy and shock value. Notice how Chicks and America have been on every show, while I've now only been on my second? And when all these brain washed morons aren't laughing at those three buffoons, they're waiting on who Fallen Angel will destroy next. See, there is one more thing this company is built on, and I'm surprised no one else has caught onto it. Notice how Luke just hands jobs out to his brother? His "son"? Now his best friend? His best friend's sister? I have it on good authority that Gavin Carpenter is a childhood friend of Benji's. And I'm sure if Luke's sister wasn't already under contract elsewhere I'm sure her and even her boyfriend would be here too. I'm pretty sure Luke offered his cousin a job, but the damn redneck was probably too stupid to figure out which contract was which and ended up in CCW. Now, Luke hands out pay-per-view matches to his "son" and best friend, while people like me, who deserve pay-per-view matches, are nowhere to be found on the card. Luke Mathews is nothing more than a nepotist. Making sure his friends and family are succeeding without any effort while people like me are confined to watching the show at catering. So, Caitlin, here's a little thought for you: FUCK AXW!

AXW WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT - SEMI-FINALS
This match was great from start to finish. Both women put on an excellent display, with a lot of highlights:
-Tara with a great Tornado DDT after ruining a superplex attempt from Venus.
-Venus with a perfectly executed springboard Moonsault that almost saw victory and everyone thought it did, but it was just kicked out of by a hair according to the official.
-Tara hits the first Suplex in the Holy Trinity as Ode to Joy plays.
From there, Ms. Integrity runs to the ring and hops up onto the apron, and distracts Tara at the same time. Tara charges and spears Ms. Integrity, sending them both to the outside. She rolls into the ring and Venus is able to take control from there, setting up and hitting the Eternal Neon, picking up a pin victory.
Craig Brooks backstage with Ground N' Pound
Craig Brooks: I'm here with the very muscular Ground N' Pound. Joey, thoughts on your match earlier as you head to face Fallen Angel at Rise?
Joe Coffey: What happened earlier will not foreshadow Rise. My mind wasn't fully there, caused by the cheap shot from Duncan Aries.
Craig Brooks: Funny you mention Duncan Aries, Ray, you're competing against him tonight.
Fray8train: Duncan is just a punk. I'm gon' give what he's got comin' to him.
Craig Brooks: If you win against Aries, what are you gonna do? You turned down tag titles, will you turn down the world title?
Fray8train: Well, Crai--
Suddenly the lights go out in the hallway. Loud noises are heard, noises of people getting thrown into stuff. The lights come back on, and Fallen Angel is standing next to Brooks.
Fallen Angel: If he wins against Aries, he's not going to live to see the world title match.
Fallen Angel laughs sadistically, as he steps off frame we see Ground N' Pound lying on the ground, not unconscious, but in some amounts of pain.

We come back to the outside of Luke Mathews' office, the door now has a makeshift "Gavin Carpenter" sign. The "KNOCK BEFORE ENTERING. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN 30 DAY SUSPENSION AND $1,000 FINE." still remains on the door. We cut to a camera already inside the office. The shot is Gavin sitting at Luke's desk.
Gavin Carpenter: My fellow Aternativians, since I was put in charge for the night, I have a few declarations to announce. Number one, Jonathan Fhenix is hereby suspended. Number two, since the United States of Integrity Championship is in fact a recognized championship of AXW, Cameron Kennedy Rockefeller will be defending it tonight in his semi-final tournament match. That is all.
Suddenly, a nunchuck hits the desk. Chicks and America have all entered the office.
Gavin Carpenter: Hey! Did you not read the sign! You're all susp--
Ricky and Hoffman lift Gavin out of the chair.
Gavin Carpenter: Put me down!
Ricky and Hoff walk him out of the office, and place him in a loading crate, locking it up. They join Trent back in the office, closing the door behind them. Trent sits on the couch, drinking a soda. Ricky sits next to him. Hoffman looks through the mini-fridge.
Hoffman LeGrand: Dude, where's the beer?
Hoffman has to settle on soda, tossing one to Ricky, as all three sit on the couch and watch tv in luxury.
Benji Mathews: They can't do that to Gavin!
Mike Vincent: And I'm pretty sure Gavin can't go around making match stipulations and suspending people.

AXW CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT - SEMI-FINALS
Fray8train was cleared to compete, but not without his midsection being taped up. Joe Coffey at ringside. A solid back and forth match up, but when Fallen Angel was seen lurking at the entrance way, both members of Ground N' Pound made no hesitation to go after him, resulting in a count-out victory for Duncan Aries.
We return to the loading crate containing Gavin Carpenter, in which he is banging and pleading for some to open it. The Heroes of Today notice it.
George Massari: You think this is something we should worry about?
Richard Flare: We ain't got time to deal with that, we're gonna be late for our Pre-Rise Victory Party, and I've got us a date with a hot pair of twins.
George Massari: Nice!
Richard flare lets out a WOO! as they continue down the hallway. Michael Jacobs walks up, looking on at them oddly, before opening the crate.
Gavin Carpenter: Oh thank God! Hard to breathe in there!
Michael Jacobs: So... Luke's not here, he put you in charge, which means there's no "third eye" patrolling the hallways? I think I can deal with this.
Michael locks Gavin back in the crate. He asks a random personnel backstage where Dallas Hargrave's locker room is.
*****COMMERCIALS*****
We return to the locker room of Dallas Hargrave, where Michael Jacobs has entered.
Michael Jacobs: Look, I'm not here to fight. I think we got that out of our systems last week, plus, we need to save it for the pay-per-view. I'm just here to wish you good luck.
Dallas Hargrave: Good luck?
Michael Jacobs: Yeah, good luck trying to get up after I knock your ass out cold next week!
Michael immediately walks out after saying that, leaving Hargrave seething.

AXW WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT - SEMI-FINALS
Results are summarized from the POV of Mike Vincent
Both women came to the ring to a decent reaction, though Kendra seemed disappointed in all the catcalls she was receiving. The match started quickly with the women locking up, and Kendra sending Sierra to they mat with an Arm Drag, then another. They look at each other for a minute before Sierra moves in and they lock up again. Sierra pushes Kendra into the corner and squishes her there, and Sierra holds on and shoves her back, and with quick thinking is able to drop down and lock in a leg lock of sorts, but Kendra gets out of it, hopping to her feet.
It's quite a back and forth competition, and after about a minute of quick and technical wrestling, Kendra hits a huge lariat that lays both of them out. Neither one moves for a few seconds before Kendra gets up and picks Sierra up. She connects with a vertical Suplex, and covers.
Benji Mathews: This could be it, the Rayne always covers the Stars after all.
Mike Vincent: Do you ever think before you talk?
Sierra kicks out just before the two count, and Kendra picks her up. Sierra ducks under a lariat attempt and lands a German Suplex which gets a nice pop. She picks Kendra up and whips her into the corner, then she runs over and sends Kendra flying with a monkey flip. She gets up and smiles as she runs over to Kendra and lands a running leg drop. She rolls over and covers.
ONE...
Two...
Kickout!
Kendra rolls over to her side catching her breath. Sierra grabs her and picks her up, whipping her to the ropes and hits a Dropkick. She gets up and picks Kendra up and plants her with a DDT. She covers again.
One...
Two...
Kickout!
Sierra appears surprised by the kickout, but gets up and looks at Kendra, who is using the ropes to lean on to catch her breath. Sierra comes running at her, but Kendra ducks a lariat and runs to the opposite ropes. The two come back at each other and this time Kendra comes out on top with a diving crossbody. She stays over her and hooks a leg for a cover.
One...
Two...
Thre-No!
After about five minutes of what is a fun match to watch, and a very nice example of friendly competition, we have our winner after Sierra hits the Starry Night and gets a victory. After the match, the two women get to their feet and hug as Kendra holds Sierra's arm high.

AXW CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT - SEMI-FINALS
UNITED STATES OF INTEGRITY CHAMPIONSHIP
CKR had a run for his money, but he eventually saw victory as Ms. Integrity distracted the referee, using brass knuckles to take down Bartkowiak.
The show ends with Duncan Aries bolting to the ring, attacking CKR. James Galleon would rush to the ring next, attacking Aries. Ryan Starr would then make his run-in, and the show ends with a brawl between all four AXW Championship contenders.
