Episode VI
John Hendon: Ladies and gentlemen, I am John Hendon!
Zack Fields: And I am Zack Fields!
John Hendon: Last week on AXW, Hand of Blood, specifically Jason, took out all four members of the Takeover!
Zack Fields: And tonight, Inferno will take on Jimmy Reynolds of the Push.
John Hendon: A rivalry renewed as the Push were the ones to put an end to Hand of Blood's historic 229 day reign.
Zack Fields: Acer Stone got a victory over Cletus Mathews, and after the match, Bruiser Lazzou delivered a Bruised and Battered to Cletus off of the stage.
John Hendon: Cletus suffered multiple broken ribs, and will be out of action for quite a while.
Zack Fields: And tonight Misfits member Danny Hall faces Starla Gardevoir.
John Hendon: And you know that Bruiser Lazzou will be watching very closely.
Zack Fields: Last week there was a Manliness Challenge that was accepted by the androgynous Riley Rouse.
John Hendon: Riley Rouse had a very good showing, but Jack Adams hung onto his money.
Zack Fields: Riley Rouse is one half of the EW Tag Team Champions with Mighty Jo Young, you can catch EW on the BWF Network.
John Hendon: A mammoth of a woman named Tatau made her presence felt last week as she went straight to the AXW Women's Champion Caitlin Shay.
Zack Fields: Tonight Tatau has her first match as she steps into the ring with not one, but two opponents in Olya Oglovska and Marina Blue.
John Hendon: Hailey Harris defeated Janet Hurricane, both ladies who hold a grudge with one another as well as Women's Champion Caitlin Shay.
Zack Fields: And in the Main Event last week, Steve Corman was successful in his AXW debut as he beat the AXW Xperience Champion David Slayton!
John Hendon: However, it was by count out, so the title remains with David Slayton.
Zack Fields: And we're gonna hear what David has to say about it, ladies and gentlemen the AXW Xperience Champion David Slayton!
David Slayton walks out onto the set wearing his Blazenwing Rises T-Shirt with a jacket over it. He sets the Xperience Championship onto the coffee table and shakes hands with John and Zack before taking a seat.
John Hendon: Welcome!
David Slayton: Thank you for having me.
Zack Fields: Last week you suffered your first lost since becoming the Xperience Champion, can we get your thoughts on that?
David Slayton: Well, Steve Corman is a tough opponent. Trust me, if I could've gotten back into that ring before the twenty count I would have, but Steve took a lot out of me.
John Hendon: If Steve were to ask for a rematch, would you give him one?
David Slayton: Absolutely. In fact, how about next week? I'm more than willing to get back into the ring with him and putting the title on the line.
Zack Fields: What if you lose? You're close to being able to redeem the Xperience Championship for another title match.
David Slayton: I don't intend on losing, Zack. Steve is gonna have to kill me to take this away from me.
John Hendon: Well how about we get your thoughts on tonight's match-ups?
David Slayton: Let's do it.
Zack Fields: Inferno of Hand of Blood takes on AXW Tag Team Champion Jimmy Reynolds of The Push.
David Slayton: While Hand of Blood were a dominant force in AXW, The Push were the ones to knock them down. I don't think that was a fluke, I think the Push are a legitimate force to be reckoned with in AW and I think Jimmy is winning tonight.
John Hendon: Austin Graves and AXW Light Heavyweight Champion Ryan Starr face the Shooters tonight.
David Slayton: Ryan Starr is one of the greatest champions in this company's history, and you pair him up with a guy like Austin Graves? That's money. They could be a legitimate tag team in AXW. On the other hand, Damien can't be a hundred percent after last week, and he hasn't been seeing eye to eye with TO'A recently, so I gotta go with Starr and Graves.
Zack Fields: Tatau makes her in ring debut as she takes on both Olya Oglovska and Marina Blue in a Triple Threat Match.
David Slayton: I gotta go with Tatau. How can I not? Just look at her. She's as tall as I am and I think she weighs more.
John Hendon: What do you think about Starla Gardevoir vs. Danny Hall?
David Slayton: It's no secret that Starla is one of my best friends, but bias aside she's been in this business for years. She has countless accolades to her name, including being a Hall of Famer. Danny Hall doesn't quite measure up to that. He very well could have all those to his name someday, but I gotta go with Starla here.
Zack Fields: And in the Main Event, Duncan Aries defends the AXW Championship against Fredrick Wyndham.
David Slayton: That's gonna be a good match. I think Duncan walks out as champion though.
John Hendon: Alright, Zack, what are your quick picks?
Zack Fields: Inferno defeats Jimmy Reynolds, The Shooters defeat Graves and Starr, Tatau defeats Olya and Blue, Danny Hall defeats Starla, and Fredrick defeats Duncan. How about you?
John Hendon: Jimmy Reynolds defeats Inferno, Graves and Starr defeats Shooters, Olya defeats Tatau and Marina Blue, Starla Gardevoir beats Danny Hall, and Duncan Aries hangs onto the AXW Championship.
Zack Fields: Thanks everyone for tuning into Before the Bell! For John Hendon and David Slayton, I'm Zack Fields. Make sure to tune into The Alternative in less than a minute on ION Television!

Episode XXI
Lily Luna: Welcome to The Alternative! We have a big night tonight as the AXW Championship is on the line, I'm Lily Luna with Chris Pierce, and we're gonna head straight into the action!
"Hate Me" by Blue October plays of the P.A. system as the camera pans over the arena stopping at the entrance way as Danny Hall, sporting a fur vest, strolls down to the ring stopping sometimes to yell at children.
Jen Brunelli: This opening contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by TRENT and representing the Misfits, from Camden, Tennessee, weighing in at 220 pounds, "Mr. Most Hated" DANNY HALL!
Then when he gets to the ring he rolls under the bottom rope to sit in the corner then he stands up.....in the corner.
The lights in the arena go out, one by one, until the entire arena is blanketed in complete darkness. A few seconds pass of this, the crowd cheering loudly, eagerly awaiting whatever is going to come next. The JumboTron comes to life with a neon pink butterfly, slowly flapping its wings against darkness. With every flap of its wings, the arena lights pulse. The flapping gets faster and faster, until finally, the butterfly explodes into glitter. When it does, a stage-wide blast of pink and purple pyro explodes across the stage and as the screen fills with the words "Stutterfly" Starla Gardevoir, "Endless Possibility" by Jaret Reddick begins playing over the sound system!
This is my escape
I'm running through this world
And I'm not looking back
The crowd explodes in a flurry of cheers as Starla Gardevoir struts onto the stage and points to the crowd, grinning. She moves to each side of the stage, posing for the fans, then comes back to the center of the stage before dropping to one knee and posing as a shower of pink pyro begins falling behind her!
Jen Brunelli: And his opponent, from Panama City, Florida, "Stutterfly" STARLA GARDEVOIR!
'Cause I know I can go
Where no one's ever gone
And I'm not looking back
Starla stands up, still grinning from ear to ear, and then quickly bounds down the ramp, slapping fan's hands along the way. Towards the bottom of the ramp, she stops and turns back to the stage, then poses with her back to the ring. Starla turns back and laughs, then makes her way around ringside, high-fiving fans as she goes.
But how will I know when I get there?
And how will I know when to leave?
We've all got to start from somewhere
It's like that for me
The possibilities are never ending
After a quick trip around the ring, Starla runs towards the ring apron facing the stage and leaps up, turning in midair and sliding from one side of the apron to the other on one knee. Starla stands up and steps over the second rope, then leans in slowly, showcasing her butt for the cheering male fans before entering the ring completely.
I see it, I see it
And now it's all within my reach
Endless possibility
I see it, I see it now
It's always been inside of me
And now I feel so free
Endless possibility
Starla then heads up to the top of the nearest turnbuckle and poses once more. With the fans still cheering, Starla does a backflip off the top rope and lands on her feet, then walks over to the corner across the ring and leans against it, rolling her head back and forth as the music fades.
vs.
Danny and Starla lock up, Danny gets Starla in a front headlock, Starla counters with a Northern Lights Suplex. Starla kicks Danny in the gut and drives him to the mat with a lifting DDT. Starla takes Danny back down with a corkscrew neckbreaker. Starla hits a dropkick that causes Danny to fall out of the ring. Starla immediately hits the ropes and flies out with a suicide dive. Starla rolls Danny into the ring and then slides in the ring herself. Danny catches Starla with a Shot Heard Round The World (Superkick), then runs the ropes and nails Starla with a Clothesline From Hall (Clothesline from Hell). Starla helps herself up in the corner and Danny runs in with a dropkick to her back. Danny picks Starla up and drops her with a Release Powerbomb. Danny tries to lock in a Paradox (Crossface Chickenwing), but Starla reverses with an arm drag of sorts. Danny kicks her in the gut and runs the ropes, only to be caught by Starla with a Spinning Sidewalk Slam. Starla grabs Danny's head and runs up the turnbuckles for a Sliced Bread #2. Starla climbs to the top rope and takes Danny down with a Flying Overcastle Neckbreaker. Starla brings Danny to his feet, and out of nowhere Danny lifts Starla onto his shoulders and plants her to the mat with a Hallway to Hell (Roode Bomb)! Danny hooks the inside leg and thinks he gets the three count, however Starla got the outside leg on the rope. Danny brings Starla to her feet and starts to lift her for a suplex, but Starla manages to counter it with a 343 Guilty Spark (Tornado DDT)! Starla heads back up to the top rope and dives off with the R.R.O.D. [Red Ring of Death] (Swanton Bomb)! She hooks both legs.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, STARLA GARDEVOIR!
Lily Luna: Danny Hall came close to victory but the veteran Starla comes out on top.
Chris Pierce: Danny Hall is a great competitor, make no mistake about it. A former champion in BWF, and someday he'll be a former champion in AXW.
Starla celebrates her win before exiting the ring. Danny starts to come to when he gets turned inside out with a strong style lariat from Bruiser Lazzou. TRENT climbs onto the apron and Lazzou forces him off, TRENT flying into the barricade. Lazzou chucks Danny out of the ring, and drags him up the ramp by his hair. When they get to the stage, Bruiser lifts Danny onto his shoulders, and his eyes set on the end of the stage. Before he can do anything, however, TRENT runs up the ramp and pulls Danny off of Lazzou's shoulders. TRENT and Danny run to the back. Lazzou says, "You can run, but you can't hide!" as we cut backstage.
-----
We're in the locker room of the Shooters. Damien has some bandages on his forehead.
Damien Steele: Where were you last week?
TO'A: I was in our locker room watching the show.
Damien Steele: So you saw what Graves did and you just sat there?
TO'A: If memory serves me right, you said that you would take care of him. You also called me a fat ass. You're lucky it wasn't me that put you through that window because you wouldn't be here talking to me right now.
Damien Steele: Look... I... I've just been pissed off as of late. I would the Light Heavyweight Champion right now if it wasn't for him. Tonight, WE will take care of him, and that overrated piece of crap that's walking around with MY title!
-----
A shrill scream echoes throughout the arena causing some people to have to cover their ears. The lights dim down and then the scream stops an a cackle replaces it followed by ‘Monster‘ by Disturbed.
White smoke fills the entrance ramp and then a tall figure slowly walks through the smoke. Tatau makes her way down the ramp looking intense and ready to fight.
Jen Brunelli: This next Triple Threat contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, making her AXW in-ring debut, from the Island of Samoa, "Lady Samoa" TATAU!
She gets into the ring and lets out an almighty roar then she tries to intimidate the referee by grabbing him by the throat and telling him that “I will win this match, you got that?” Tatau finally goes to her corner and waits for the match to start.
"Slip It In" hits as Marina comes out holding a bag in one hand and a cat o' nine tails in the other. Gimp follows behind her crawling on the ground.
Jen Brunelli: And her opponents, first, accompanied to the ring by Gimp, from North Hollywood, California, MARINA BLUE!
She drops the bag at her corner and enters the ring, cracking the whip a few times before the ref can stop her.
“Like A Prayer” by Madonna plays through the speakers providing a peppy ambiance. The entire arena goes dark momentarily as “Sister Inferior” Olya Latanya Oglovska enters from the ramp with a pair of opera binoculars in her right hand. Three spotlights highlight various audience members who have striking physical attributes. As Olya walks down to the ramp she fans herself with a bidder paddle.
Jen Brunelli: And from Saratov, Russia, "Sister Inferior" OLYA OGLOVSKA!
Upon reaching the arena floor and within clear eye line of her opponent, all three spotlights converge. Oglovska raises her bidder paddle to indicate she plans on procuring another priceless artifact for her exhibit.
vs. vs.
Marina and Olya can't help but to stare at the much larger Tatau. Olya is especially distracted by Tatau's presence which allows Marina to attack her foe. Marina viciously delivers various strikes to Olya, then dumps her out of the ring. Marina brings her attention to Tatau, she reaches up and punches Lady Samaoa... but it barely affects her. Marina bounces off the ropes and tries to clothesline her, Tatau doesn't even budge. Marina goes back to the ropes and Tatau hits her with a throat thrust, then plants her with a Snap DDT. Tatau picks Marina up and drops her with a Thunder Fire Bomb. Olya rolls into the ring and hits Tatau with a Soviet Sickle (Shades of Lance Storm's Superkick), which causes Tatau to teeter. Olya runs the ropes and finds herself in a Pop-Up into a jumping Knee strike from Tatau. Marina is coming to and tries to pin Olya but Tatau breaks it up. Tatau allows both women to get to their feet. Olya just shoves Marina into Tatau and exits the ring. Olya backs up the ramp, watching her rival get Tatau-erbombed (Scoop Lift Powerbomb), but Tatau doesn't stop there. Tatau ascends to the top rope, and dives off crushing Marina with the Seismic Splash (Superfly Splash) for the victory.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, TATAU!
Lily Luna: Tatau very impressive in her debut, but who will be able to stop a woman her size?
Chris Pierce: I don't know, but if last week is any indication, Caitlin Shay may not be the "Greatest AXW Women's Champion" for much longer.
Tatau has an evil smile on her face as she looks down on the fallen Marina Blue.

We return from commercials to Brad Adams.
Brad Adams: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is Mercer Prime.
Mercer steps into frame.
Brad Adams: Mercer, can we get your thoughts on your AXW debut against Jack Adams?
Mercer Prime: Jack is a lucky man. I had my foot on the rope. Had this been an ordinary match, he would not have won there. However, when my instincts kicked in, the nature of the event slipped through my mind. Jack hasn't seen the last of me. We will meet again, and when we do, I'm gonna be $10,000 richer.
-----
The lights dim as a laser light show begins, “Dance Pants” by The Push hits, Jimmy and Timmy emerging to a nice pop from the crowd. Timmy has a boombox over his shoulder, Jimmy dancing around and bringing the crowd to their feet. They dance towards one another and then turn straight ahead towards the ring, Jimmy slapping hands with fans and blowing kisses to the ladies as they sing along with the song.
Jen Brunelli: This next contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by one half of the AXW Tag Team Champions Timmy McDermott, from Scranton, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 195 pounds, he is the other half of the AXW Tag Team Champions, "Jumpin'" JIMMY REYNOLDS!
Timmy places the boombox on the outside as they turn to the crowd, waving their arms and getting the crowd behind them. Scaling turnbuckles, The Push looks fired up before leaping off and giving each other a double high five. “Dance Pants” fades out as they look ready for battle.
The Lights turn off as “The Ruiner” by Nine inch Nails plays as Inferno walks out, Jason at his side, brooding as always. Inferno’s eyes gleam eerily black as he slowly makes his way to the ring, his face showing his crazed, demented behaviour before composing itself into a grim, wry smile.
Jen Brunelli: And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Jason, from Vatican City, weighing in at 221 pounds, "The Possessed One" INFERNO!
The crowd is eerily quiet, as the bloodhounds make their way down the ramp. Then, the lights come back on and Inferno climbs the steel steps, and the turnbuckle before jumping down on the ring.
vs.
A rivalry rekindled, as Hand of Blood are looking to get their Tag Team Championships back. Inferno and Jimmy lock up, Inferno taking Jimmy to the mat with a side headlock takedown and delivering some punches to the grounded Jimmy. Inferno runs to the ropes and hits a front dropkick, taking Jimmy back down. Jimmy gets to his feet and is nailed with a discus elbow smash, then Inferno brings him back to the mat with an inverted suplex. Inferno lifts Jimmy to his feet and Jimmy fights back with several forearm smashes, then takes Inferno down with a discus punch. Inferno is quick to his feet and Jimmy jumps up and hits him with a high knee, then a standing dropkick, which sends Inferno stumbling back into the corner. Jimmy attacks him with a corner forearm smash, then climbs to the second rope as the crowd chants along to Jimmy delivering a full 10 count punch to Inferno. Jimmy hoists Inferno to the top turnbuckle and Inferno kicks Jimmy away. Inferno dives off with a leg lariat, then delivers a Shining Gamengiri, followed by Dean Ambrose mounted punches. Inferno delivers a Twisting half nelson legsweep, then a Lifting double underhook DDT. Inferno brings Jimmy back to his feet and Jimmy rolls Inferno up with a small package, only getting a two count. They get to their feet and Inferno nails Jimmy with a roundhouse kick, then locks in a Guillotine Choke in the middle of the ring, the combination known as Bloodless Death. Referee Brian Sullivan asks Jimmy if he wants to submit, and no response from Jimmy signals Brian to call for the bell.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner as a result of a submission, INFERNO!
Lily Luna: Hand of Blood are back and they're as vicious as ever.
Chris Pierce: Jason has been taking people out left and right and now Inferno makes Jimmy Reynolds pass out.
Jason joins Inferno in the ring, and Timmy McDermott enters the ring to check on his teammate. Jason straight up kicks Timmy in the head. Before any more harm can be done, all four members of the Takeover slide into the ring and start clobbering Hand of Blood with steel chairs! Velvet and Leland manage to take Inferno out, and then all four bludgeon Jason with their chairs. They push Hand of Blood out of their ring with their feet. Timmy and Jimmy manage to get back to their feet, and extend their hands for a handshake to the Takeover as a thank you for helping them, but the Takeover clock them over the heads with chairs as well.
Lily Luna: The Takeover getting some revenge on Hand of Blood from last week, but why did they attack the Push too?
Chris Pierce: Because the Push still have what they want. This is an all out war for those Tag Titles.
-----
We're in Luke Mathews' office where and upset Janet Hurricane is standing in front of his desk.
Janet Hurricane: You need to do something about this.
Luke Mathews: What?
Janet Hurricane: I should be standing here as the AXW Women's Champion. I should've walked into Anarchy with the title. That match would have been a completely different story had I been the champion going in. But Hailey has to run around here thinking she's better than everyone, she's the reason why I lost to Caitlin in a matter of seconds...
Luke Mathews: Look, sweetie, I can't give you any special treatment. I can't just give you title shot after title shot. I'll tell you what, I'll give you an opportunity to prove yourself.
Janet Hurricane: How?
Luke Mathews: Over the next few weeks, we're gonna have an eight woman tournament to crown the number one contender for Caitlin's championship.
Janet Hurricane: Who am I facing first?
Luke Mathews: I don't know yet. The matches will be determined at random. You could be facing anyone from Hailey Harris to Tatau. But imagine, if you win this tournament then go on to beat Caitlin Shay, how awesome would that feel?
Janet nods her head.
Janet Hurricane: You mean WHEN I win this tournament.
Luke Mathews: That's the mentality you need to have. Prove to the world why you should be Women's Champion.
Janet exits the office as she looks forward to winning the entire tournament.
OCTOBER 26 on the BWF NETWORK
‘War Machine’ begins to play, as the crowd rises to their feet. The song plays out with the white spots lights zooming around the arena until the 33 second mark when the drums kick in and Austin Graves steps out from the back, checking the black hockey tape on his wrists.
Jen Brunelli: This next tag team contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, from St. Louis Missouri, weighing in at 245 pounds, "War Machine" AUSTIN GRAVES!
Graves pays no attention to the crowd whether they boo or cheer him, and he’s focused like a laser beam on the task at hand. Rolling into the ring under the bottom rope, he rolls to his feet and walks over to the hard (tv) camera side of the ropes, placing both hands on the top ropes, pressing down on them slightly, staring coldly into the camera at first, then giving way to a cold, almost sick half smile as if to say, “I’m going to enjoy this…”
As Footsteps by Pop Evil begins to blare through the speakers of the arena, Ryan comes out from behind the curtain. He stands and looks out into the crowd.
Jen Brunelli: And his partner, from Tampa, Florida, weighing in at 195 pounds, he is the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, the RSPW Junior Weight Champion, and the winner of the 2015 World Super J-Cup, RYAN STARR!
He then runs down the ramp, hitting hands with the fans and slides into the ring. Then he goes up onto the ropes and bounces on them, trying to get the fans all hyped up for the match. He then jumps in the ring a little to get warped up to face his opponent.
"Second Sucks" by A Day to Remember plays and out walks Toa with the towel, drenched in blood, wrapped around his neck, and Damien Steele with his hair in his face. They are staring down on the ground and listening to the boos and cheers coming from the fans.
Jen Brunelli: And their opponents, at a combined weight of 501 pounds, TO'A and Damien Steele, THE SHOOTERS!
"FIGHT"
Once they hear the opening line, TO'A starts walking down the ramp, and Damien flips the hair out of his face as he follows. When TO'A walks up the steel steps and enters the ring, he throws the towel on the ground and does a battle cry. Damien follows as he stares intently at his opponents.
vs.
Match commences with “The War Machine” Austin Graves allowing Ryan Starr to not be on the northwestern apron. Similarly, “The Samoan Executioner” TO’A has to corral his fellow Shooters member “The Vicious One” Damien Steele towards the southeastern apron. While Damien and TO’A are jaw-jacking in their corner, the bell sounds and Starr connects with a Front Dropkick to the side of his opponent’s skull. Being unaware, “The Samoan Executioner” staggers away from his corner. Starr attempts a second dropkick, but gets caught and planted via a Samoan Drop. TO’A continues building momentum by hitting a monstrous Gargoyle Suplex into his corner and signaling for his Executioner Signature Move. However, when he places Ryan Starr on the top southeastern turnbuckle, “The Vicious One” slaps TO’A’s chest. Disgruntled that a tag was made when he had the match well in hand, TO’A accidentally uses some offensive sign language.
Damien attempts an Avalanche Frankensteiner, but receives a pulverizing Powerbomb instead. His only saving grace was frantically waving his arms as a means for bracing impact. This allowed for TO’A to tag himself back in by tagging Steele’s forearm. Ryan Starr somersaults toward Graves who notices “The Samoan Executioner” gaining ground. He almost manages to make the hot tag to Austin Graves, but decides to go for a Single Running Leg High Knee. The strike doesn’t quite do as much damage as TO’A counters with a Warrior Slam. TO’A picks up Starr and scores with a western-facing Atomic Drop. Damien calls him a few different profanities as “The War Machine” makes the crucial tag.
Austin Graves begins his blitzkrieg with several European Uppercuts to his similarly-sized foe. “The War Machine” Irish Whips TO’A east and successfully drills him with a Pop-Up Powerbomb. What’s suspicious is “The Vicious One” held his hands up and away from “The Samoan Executioner’s” back when he bounced off the ropes. Austin decides to pepper Damien’s face with an open-palm slap as an antagonizing technique. He walks back over to TO’A who snatches him in a Snap Scoop Power Slam. Feeling he was unprovoked Steele puts on a façade that he’s a badass by ordering TO’A to tag him in. “The Samoan Executioner” complies and throws him a throat slash upon returning to the apron. He also tells Steele that his head will be the one rolling tonight.
Damien Steele does his best Scott Hall impression to indicate that he’s not scared. Using peripheral vision “The Vicious One” tries for a Pele Kick. However, Austin Graves counters the strike in midair with a Gotch-Style Neutralizer. Graves then heaves Steele into the southwestern corner. Damien slumps down from the tremendous velocity, “The War Machine” Austin Graves crashes into Damien’s sternum and breadbasket with a Cannonball Corner Senton. For good measure he hits a second Cannonball. “The Vicious One” frantically gasps for whatever oxygen he can scrounge. Considering the amount of whiplash Damien’s sustained, it’s almost a miracle that he tries hobbling over to TO’A. “The Samoan Executioner” shows him no mercy, though, and refuses to tag himself back in. “The War Machine” spins Damien around and initiates a Collar & Elbow Tie-Up.
Being the physically stronger specimen Austin Graves drags Steele back to his corner. Graves makes sure Damien’s far away from any ropes before striking with a brutal Belfast Kiss and tagging Ryan Starr back in. Considering how much trauma came with the last one Steele received it’s obvious that he’s all but unconscious. Starr applies his patented Starr to Remember. “The War Machine” tries goading “The Samoan Executioner” to break up the submission hold, but the tactic proves futile. Examining this situation as well as applying discretion for Steele’s wellbeing, the referee of this tag-team attraction signals for the bell.
Jen Brunelli: Here are your winners, as a result of a submission, AUSTIN GRAVES AND RYAN STARR!
Lily Luna: There seems to be some dissension between Damien and TO'A.
Chris Pierce: Damien seems to be getting a big head. Bigger than usual I should say.
Austin and Ryan high five and celebrate their win. Damien starts to come to and extends his arms, as if saying "What the hell?" to TO'A, who just stands casually on the apron.
-----
Crash Jackson is standing backstage when he's approached by Craig Brooks.
Craig Brooks: Crash, if I could just get a few seconds of your time, the first AXW Championship defense is coming up next, can I get your thoughts as to who you think might win and who you would prefer to face for your match in two weeks?
Crash Jackson: At the end of the day, it doesn't matter, because whoever steps foot in the ring with me will not be walking out of the arena on their own power. They will also not be walking out of the arena with the AXW Championship, because that's gonna be me. However, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to doing to Duncan Aries what he did to me.
-----
Jen Brunelli: This is your Main Event! It is scheduled for one fall, and is for the AXW Championship!
The opening drum beat of "Mene (We don't feel anything)" by Brand New plays as Fredrick Wyndham appears to the chorus of boos/cheers from the fans. When we hear the guitar rift, he looks up at the sky, closing his eyes and his arms wide spread as if he's soaking up the reaction coming from the fans. Once the lyrics are heard, he looks around the arena, analyzing the crowd with disgust.
At the 30 second mark, he stands with his arms crossed, head cocked in a smug grin and pyros shoots up the sky. Fredrick smirks before making his way to the ring. He doesn’t care about the fans jeering or cheering him as his eyes are fixated on the ring.
Once he enters the square circle he bounces around the ring like CM Punk before doing his opponent’s signature pose to another round of boos.
An ice blue hue descends on the stage, “Playing The Saint” by Digital Summer blaring as a spade of the same color is shown on the ramp, Aries emerging with his back to us, clad in a denim jacket with the same spade on fire printed on the back, his arms crossed. Pyros explode on either side as Aries then spins around, his arms still crossed, head cocked in a smug grin. Aries then takes a confident stride towards the ring, eyes not off the ring from under his ice blue tinted Aviator shades. Aries climbs the steps and walks the apron, looking out onto the crowd before tossing his shades to a lucky fan, entering the ring, pumped up, tossing off his jacket and delivering some shadow punches and kicks as his music fades.
Jen Brunelli: Introducing first, the challenger, from Cloverleaf, Texas, weighing in at 265 pounds, "Most Known Unknown" FREDRICK WYNDHAM!
Fredrick rolls his wrists as he looks across the ring at Aries.
Jen Brunelli: And his opponent, from San Diego, California, weighing in at 238 pounds, he is the defending AXW Champion, "The Wild Card" DUNCAN ARIES!
Duncan raises the championship high into the air with the utmost confidence.
vs.
AXW Championship
They lock up and Duncan knees Fredrick in the gut. Duncan whips Fredrick to the ropes and Fredrick hits Duncan with a powerful lariat. Fredrick lifts Duncan up for a German suplex. Fredrick whips Duncan to the ropes and takes Duncan down with a Japanese arm drag. Fredrick connects with Warning, this hurts (Tornado Enziguri), then tries to lift Duncan up for a suplex. Duncan blocks and delivers a suplex of his own. Duncan follows up with a right hook, left hook, and a European uppercut. Duncan leaps up for a dropkick, causing Fredrick to bounce off the ropes and walk into a snap powerslam. Duncan lifts Fredrick up for a belly-to-belly suplex, then tries for San Diego Driver (Full Nelson pickup released into a wheelbarrow facebuster), but Fredrick elbows himself free before Duncan can fully get the Full Nelson locked in. Fredrick nails Duncan with a Roaring Elbow, Duncan staggering backwards holding his head. Duncan shakes it off and runs at Fredrick, Fredrick picking him up and planting him with a Spinning Spinebuster. Fredrick delivers a gutwrench suplex, then plants Duncan with Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked (Devil-lock DDT). Fredrick again whips Duncan to the ropes, this time Duncan springboards off the second rope and hits Fredrick with Enter Gideon (Beautiful Disaster Kick). Duncan hooks Fredrick's head and executes an Orton style backbreaker, then starts hitting stiff kicks to Fredrick's chest. Duncan starts to lift Fredrick up for The Culmination (Front slam pickup swung into a Rock Bottom), but Fredrick fights free and used Duncan's own move against him as Fredrick drives Duncan to the mat with the Culmination! Fredrick starts to go for the cover when he notices Justin Wyndham walking down the ramp. Fredrick starts yelling at Justin, which allows Duncan to connect with the San Diego Driver, picking up the pinfall victory with it.
Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, and STILL the AXW Champion, DUNCAN ARIES!
Lily Luna: Duncan Aries hangs on to the title, but not without a distraction from Justin Wyndham.
Chris Pierce: It's only a distraction if Fredrick allows it to be, you can't turn your back like that on Duncan Aries.
Duncan Aries receives the AXW Championship and exits the ring. He has a passing glance with Justin, as the two will meet next week. Justin enters the ring, and for good measure hits Fredrick with the World's Most Wanted (Steve Vick like Superkick).
Lily Luna: That's gotta feel good for Justin.
Chris Pierce: He needs to not worry about Fredrick and worry about his Championship Match with Duncan Aries next week.
Lily Luna: That's all we have for The Alternative, tune in next week to AXW where Duncan Aries defends the AXW Championship against Justin Wyndham!
