Episode VII
John Hendon: Welcome to the seventh installment of Before the Bell! I'm John Hendon.
Zack Fields: And I'm Zack Fields.
John Hendon: Last week on The Alternative, Starla Gardevoir bested Danny Hall in a great match.
Zack Fields: And tonight she faces Olya Oglovska in a first round match of the Women's Number One Contender Tournament.
John Hendon: Tatau was successful in her in ring debut by defeating Oglovska and Marina Blue.
Zack Fields: Tatau has to be the favorite to win the whole tournament.
John Hendon: Hand of Blood continue to be impressive as Inferno made Jimmy Reynolds pass out.
Zack Fields: However the Takeover were the ones standing tall last week.
John Hendon: Austin Graves and Ryan Starr defeated the Shooters, after Damien Steele and TO'A showed some dissension.
Zack Fields: I personally would like to see more of Austin Graves and Ryan Starr as a team.
John Hendon: And in the Main Event, Duncan Aries hangs on to the AXW Championship after Fredrick Wyndham is distracted by Justin's presence.
Zack Fields: And tonight it's Duncan vs. Justin.
John Hendon: We brought up the Takeover standing tall, our guest tonight is a member of the Takeover, Malcolm M. Mitchell!
Malcolm walks onto the set wearing Takeover gear and sits in the empty chair.
John Hendon: Welcome, Malcolm.
Malcolm nods his head.
Zack Fields: We wanna get your thoughts on why you attacked the Push after you helped them.
Malcolm M. Mitchell: Hold on, helped them? We didn't help them, we got revenge on Hand of Blood after they attacked us two weeks ago.
John Hendon: Why did you attack the Push then?
Malcolm M. Mitchell: It's really obvious, John. They have what we want. It's been the same story from the start. We're not here to make friends with anybody. We're called the Takeover, which is what we're doing. We're taking over, and we're taking the titles from the Push whether they or Hand of Blood or anyone else likes it or not.
Zack Fields: How about we get to some predictions? Tonight is the start of the AXW Women's Championship Number One Contender's Tournament, and we have Janet Hurricane vs. Velvet Valentine as one of the matches.
Malcolm M. Mitchell: And Velvet will win. Did you expect any other answer? The finals will be Velvet vs. Zoey, which will end in a draw and they'll both go on to co-hold the Women's Championship.
John Hendon: That's a very interesting prediction.
Zack Fields: How about the other first round match we have tonight between Olya Oglovska and Starla Gardevoir?
Malcolm M. Mitchell: Doesn't matter, because as I said Velvet and Zoey are going all the way. Whoever wins any other of the matches is irrelevant.
John Hendon: Well we have a Jack Adams' Manliness Challenge tonight, do you have a wild guess as to who might accept?
Malcolm M. Mitchell: I could use a nice big screen in the living room for me and Zo's Netflix and chill nights. Or maybe it'll be Mercer Prime, he seems to have a bone to pick with Jack.
Zack Fields: The first of two main events tonight, David Slayton defends against Steve Corman.
Malcolm M. Mitchell: Lightning's not gonna strike twice, Steve Corman is walking out as Xperience Champion.
John Hendon: And Duncan Aries defends the AXW Championship against Justin Wyndham.
Malcolm M. Mitchell: There's no way Fredrick is gonna let last week slide, Duncan is leaving still the champion.
Zack Fields: Let's get out picks in before we're out of time. Velvet defeats Janet. Starla defeats Olya. Corman defeats Slayton. Duncan defeats Justin.
John Hendon: Janet defeats Velvet, Olya defeats Starla, David defeats Steve, and Justin defeats Duncan.
Zack Fields: For John Hendon and the Takeover's Malcolm M. Mitchell, I'm Zack Fields. Tune into AXW in a few minutes at 9 o'clock on ION.

Episode XXVI
Pyro blasts throughout the arena before the cameras pan across the crowd showing all the various signs in attendace!
Mike Vincent: AXW comes to you tonight live from Charleston, West Virginia! We have an action packed night tonight as we have Xperience and AXW Championship defenses, Jack Adams' $10,000 Manliness Challenge, and of course the start of the AXW Women's Championship Number One Contender's Tournament.
“S-P-I-R-I-T
Spirit!! Let’s hear it!!
S-P-I-R-I-T
Spirit!! Let’s hear it!!”
Blue strobe lights roams around the arena like a trance as the opening tune of "Happy Song” by Bring Me The Horizon blares out of the PA system.
“LET’S GO!”
Out comes Janet Hurricane, her hoodie veil blinding her face. As the tempo gets faster and faster, we see her jumping up and down, still cannot see her face. Once we hear the lyrics, Janet reveals her face to the crowd and starts shadowing punching and kicking, feeling the energy of her theme song.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This opening contest is a Round One Match in the AXW Women's Championship Number One Contender's Tournament! Introducing first, from Charlotte, North Carolina, she is "The Queen of the Ravenous Generation" JANET HURRICANE!
She then starts walking her way to the ring, bopping her head to the music and in her own zone, not giving a damn about the fans’ reaction. Once she enters the ring, she takes off her hoodie and does a couple of shadow boxing, again feeling the energy of the music before it fades.
As the tune of 'No One's Gonna Find Her In The Dark', a mashup between Panic! At The Disco and Fall Out Boy, starts to play, the lights go dim. The colors of pink and purple with green lazers start to shine through the area as Velvet comes out from behind the curtain. She points out to the fans while the music continues playing. Velvet walks down the ramp giving the 'rocker' sign and gives high-fives to the fans.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And her opponent, representing the Takeover, from Las Vegas, Nevada, VELVET VALENTINE!
She walks up the steps and heads to the ropes. She blows a little kiss and straddles the ropes. Velvet glances into the camera and wiggles while pointing to the camera. As she gets into the ring, the chorus of her music begins to play. As the chorus is playing, Velvet is finally in the ring. She hops up onto the top turnbuckle and gives the 'rocker' sign once again, then yells at the fans to get them psyched up. She then jumps down from the turnbuckle and does a few arm stretches before the match starts.

AXW Women's Championship Number One Contender's Tournament
Round 1
Janet starts the match by mouthing off, probably talking about how she's gonna win the whole tournament. This comes to a stop when Velvet straight up punches Janet in the mouth. Velvet kicks Janet in the gut and delivers a jawbreaker. Velvet catches Janet with a Spinning heel kick, then ducks a clothesline and bring Janet to the mat with a Half nelson bulldog. Velvet leaps into the air for a Standing moonsault. Velvet brings Janet to her feet but Janet knees Velvet in the gut then brings her to the corner and rams her head into the top turnbuckle. Janet quickly gets Velvet in the ropes and plants her with a Cry of Terror (Rope-hung DDT). Janet brings Velvet back to her feet before bringing her back down with a Tropical Storm (Forward Russian Legsweep). Janet hits the ropes and nails Velvet with a Running Knee lift. Janet climbs to the top rope and dives off with Last Breath of Air (Diving elbow drop), but Velvet rolls out of the way. Velvet connects with a Half nelson bulldog, and if that wasn't enough, follows up with a Spinning powerbomb. Velvet doubles Janet over and sets up the Kiss 'N Tell (Sitout double underhook facebuster), but Janet double legs her and pins her, Janet's feet on the ropes, referee Jessie McCormick out of position to see it and counts three.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, JANET HURRICANE!
Mike Vincent: Velvet was in control most of the match and Janet steals the win by getting her feet on the ropes.
Cole Haywood: I didn't see nothin', other than Janet moving on like she said she would.
"Happy Song" replays throughout the arena as Janet quickly gets out of the ring and backs up the ramp in celebration, Velvet unhappy in the ring trying to explain to Jessie that Janet's feet were on the ropes, but to no avail.

We cut backstage where Max Kilburne is standing.
Max Kilburne: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is the AXW Women's Champion, Caitlin Shay.
Caitlin Shay: Ugh. Really? That's how you're introducing me?
Max Kilburne: Well, how do you want...
Max looks at Caitlin's "The Greatest" shirt that she's wearing and it all comes together for him.
Max Kilburne: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is the Greatest AXW Women's Champion Ever. Of All Time. Caitlin Shay.
Caitlin Shay: Eh. I suppose it's acceptable. What dumb questions are you gonna ask me?
Max Kilburne: Well, we just saw the first match of the Number One Contender's Tournament, I was wondering if I could get your thoughts.
Caitlin Shay: Yawn. A big waste of time. Whoever wins will just be disappointed when I beat them at Breakdown.
Max Kilburne: Breakdown of course being the next pay-per-view on the BWF Network. Well what about Tatau?
Caitlin Shay: What about her?
Max Kilburne: Well, she was impressive in her debut last week, she's in this tournament, and she hilariously dumped your coffee on you.
Caitlin Shay: Excuse me? You thought that was funny?
Caitlin takes the top of her coffee cup which she was holding because of course she was, then throws it onto Max, then throws the cup at him too.
Caitlin Shay: Laugh at that, asshole.
Caitlin walks off, leaving Max dripping with her coffee.
-----
"Too Drunk to Fuck" by the Dead Kennedys kicks in as a smirking Jack Adams comes jogging out from the back. He looks at the crowd, laughing to himself as he walks to the ring, all the while Adams is goading the fans and prevoking them, daring them to punch him, before feigning punching them himself. Generally, just being a bully.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is the Jack Adams' Manliness Challenge! Should Jack's opponent defeat him, they will win $10,000! Introducing first, from Fort Payne, Alabama, weighing in at 230 pounds, he is "The Last Real Man Alive" JACK ADAMS!
Adams slides into the ring and being the dick he is, just yells to the hard camera "LAST REAL MAN ALIVE!" Jack has a microphone, but before he can even say anything, All the lights in the arena flick off except for a single gold light aimed on the entrance stage.
'Come To Life' by Alter Bridge starts blasting out of the speakers around the arena. Mercer Prime walks out from the back as the rest of the arena is lit up with gold light.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, from Dayton, Ohio, weighing in at 225 pounds, MERCER PRIME!
Mercer stands on the stage and throws up both arms and lets out a roar before heading down to the ring.
vs.
$10,000 Manliness Challenge
Mercer comes out of the gate with a number of elbow strikes until Jack manages to kick him in the gut and throw punches of his own, and then some Knife Edge Chops (aimed at the chest and throat). Jack whips Mercer to the ropes and takes him down with a Throwdown Spinebuster. Jack lifts Mercer with a Gorilla Press, but Mercer gets free and lands on his feet. Mercer lifts Jack in the Gorilla Press himself, and throws him forward, Jack crashing down to the mat. Jack manages to get to his feet only to be taken back down with an STO. Mercer brings Jack to his feet only for Jack to deck him. Jack runs to the ropes only for Mercer to counter whatever he was going for with a Tilt-a-whirl slam. Mercer plants Jack with a Wheelbarrow facebuster, then grabs his legs and whips him around with a Giant Swing. Jack uses the ropes to help him up, he's a little dizzy, and walks into a powerslam. Mercer hooks Jack before bringing him down to the mat with the Primal Slam (Full Nelson Slam). Mercer looks to end it by lifting Jack onto his shoulders for No Mercy (Fireman's Carry Cutter), but Jack pokes Mercer in the eye and gets down to his feet. Jack quickly hits the ropes and nails Mercer with a Running Arched Boot. Jack goes to a corner and removes the top turnbuckle pad, referee Shane Gates questioning his motives and goes to reassemble it. With the referee distracted, Jack rolls out of the ring and grabs a chair from underneath the ring and slides back in. Jack slams the chair on the mat, then tosses it to Mercer who is starting to get up. Mercer catches the chair and Jack falls to the mat holding his head, referee Shane Gates turns around and sees Mercer holding a chair and Jack on the mat holding his head and calls for the bell.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner as a result of a disqualification, JACK ADAMS!
Mike Vincent: What a despicable act by Jack Adams.
Cole Haywood: What are you talking about? Mercer hit him over the head with a chair! We all saw it!
"Too Drunk to Fuck" hits once more as Jack rolls out of the ring holding his head. Mercer tries to explain what happened to Shane, but it's not getting anywhere and out of frustration Mercer chucks the chair out of the ring, nearly hitting Jack.

The phrase 'The Code Awakens Me' flashes repeatedly on the screen in big black outlined white block letters on a triangle pattern. The words fade away slowly to the sound of pounding drums and the lights raise revealing the image of a young blond woman standing standing stoically against a brick wall. After a moment she slowly lifts her head, ice blue almost glowing eyes open and look up into the camera, as she smirks.
“Hello, AXW.” Her voice is soft, but cold and monotone.
“You are all probably asking, who am I? Good question, it is not important though. What is, is what I am here to do. You see AXW is filled with...Deviants. Delusionals. Psychotics. Misfits. The confused, the crazed and one big Monster. Monsters are meant to be defeated and the Deranged should know their place. This is what I am here to do. Restore order, put the inferior on notice. I am a perfect being, and I will rule this kingdom of clowns.”
Her eyes close, her head returns to resting downward as the lights slowly fade to black ending the announcement.
-----
“Like A Prayer” by Madonna plays through the speakers providing a peppy ambiance. The entire arena goes dark momentarily as “Sister Inferior” Olya Latanya Oglovska enters from the ramp with a pair of opera binoculars in her right hand. Three spotlights highlight various audience members who have striking physical attributes. As Olya walks down to the ramp she fans herself with a bidder paddle.
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is a Round One Match in the AXW Women's Championship Number One Contender's Tournament! Introducing first, from Saratov, Russia, "Sister Inferior" OLYA OGLOVSKA!
Upon reaching the arena floor and within clear eye line of her opponent, all three spotlights converge. Oglovska raises her bidder paddle to indicate she plans on procuring another priceless artifact for her exhibit.
The lights in the arena go out, one by one, until the entire arena is blanketed in complete darkness. A few seconds pass of this, the crowd cheering loudly, eagerly awaiting whatever is going to come next. The JumboTron comes to life with a neon pink butterfly, slowly flapping its wings against darkness. With every flap of its wings, the arena lights pulse. The flapping gets faster and faster, until finally, the butterfly explodes into glitter. When it does, a stage-wide blast of pink and purple pyro explodes across the stage and as the screen fills with the words "Stutterfly" Starla Gardevoir, "Endless Possibility" by Jaret Reddick begins playing over the sound system!
This is my escape
I'm running through this world
And I'm not looking back
The crowd explodes in a flurry of cheers as Starla Gardevoir struts onto the stage and points to the crowd, grinning. She moves to each side of the stage, posing for the fans, then comes back to the center of the stage before dropping to one knee and posing as a shower of pink pyro begins falling behind her!
Salvatore Pellegrino: And her opponent, from Panama City, Florida, "Stutterfly" STARLA GARDEVOIR!
'Cause I know I can go
Where no one's ever gone
And I'm not looking back
Starla stands up, still grinning from ear to ear, and then quickly bounds down the ramp, slapping fan's hands along the way. Towards the bottom of the ramp, she stops and turns back to the stage, then poses with her back to the ring. Starla turns back and laughs, then makes her way around ringside, high-fiving fans as she goes.
But how will I know when I get there?
And how will I know when to leave?
We've all got to start from somewhere
It's like that for me
The possibilities are never ending
After a quick trip around the ring, Starla runs towards the ring apron facing the stage and leaps up, turning in midair and sliding from one side of the apron to the other on one knee. Starla stands up and steps over the second rope, then leans in slowly, showcasing her butt for the cheering male fans before entering the ring completely.
I see it, I see it
And now it's all within my reach
Endless possibility
I see it, I see it now
It's always been inside of me
And now I feel so free
Endless possibility
Starla then heads up to the top of the nearest turnbuckle and poses once more. With the fans still cheering, Starla does a backflip off the top rope and lands on her feet, then walks over to the corner across the ring and leans against it, rolling her head back and forth as the music fades.
vs.
AXW Women's Championship Number One Contender's Tournament
Round 1
Olya and Starla lock up, Olya manages to take Starla down with a Schoolgirl Pin, gets a two count, then tries a Small Package Roll-Up, another two count, Olya ducks a clothesline and takes Starla to the mat with a Sombo Suplex. Olya hoists Starla onto her shoulders for a Rolling Fireman's Carry Slam. Olya tries for a Fisherwoman's Suplex, but Starla reverses with a small package of her own, only a one count. Starla kicks Olya in the gut and plants her with a Lifting DDT. Starla grabs Olya's head and runs up the turnbuckles for a Sliced Bread #2. Starla makes sure Olya is in position before executing a Split-Legged Corkscrew Moonsault. Starla birngs Olya to her feet and Olya fights back with several punches, then runs to the ropes only for Starla to catch her with a beautiful Spinning Sidewalk Slam. Starla heads to the top rope and looks for a diving front dropkick, but Olya catches her legs and locks her in an Inverted Sharpshooter! Starla struggles but eventually grabs a rope. Starla gets to her feet only to be rocked with a Soviet Sickle (Shades of Lance Storm's Superkick). Olya brings Starla back to the mat with a Snapmare with Rolling Neck Snap. Olya lifts Starla up for an Airplane Spin, then brings her to the mat with Gnostic Orthodox [Crucifix Pin]! You should see the look on Olya's face when Starla kicks out at the last second. Olya pleads with referee Brian Sullivan that it had to have been three but he says otherwise. Starla uses this opportunity to bring Olya to the mat with a corkscrew neckbreaker. Starla heads out to the apron, and starts to ascend to the top turnbuckle. Olya is back to her feet and out of desperation pushes Starla's legs out from under her, Starla landing right on her you know where on the turnbuckle. Olya climbs up with her and sets up for a superplex, but Starla throws punches to Olya's gut, before shoving her down to the mat. Starla quickly leaps off and connects with the R.R.O.D. [Red Ring of Death] (Swanton Bomb), and it's all over.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, STARLA GARDEVOIR!
Mike Vincent: What a match between the two, but it's Starla that advances who will meet Janet Hurricane down the road.
Cole Haywood: I still don't understand why Starla is even in this tournament, she said herself she's not here to win the Women's Championship.
Mike Vincent: Any opportunity is a good opportunity, and Starla could become one of the best Women's Champions.
"Endless Possibility" plays throughout the arena as Starla celebrates her win, climbing the turnbuckles and posing for the fans. Olya is getting to her feet, and Starla extends her fist to her, Olya taking a second but accepts the fist bump, before we cut backstage.
-----
We're backstage where Austin Graves and Ryan Starr are talking to each other.
Austin Graves: That was a good match last week, man.
Ryan Starr: Yeah, man. The Shooters ain't got shoot on us.
Austin Graves: We could even make a run for the Tag Titles. We're two of the top guys in this place, and us together could triple Hand of Blood's reigns no problem.
Ryan Starr: We probably could.
Austin Graves: Or maybe, we just fight each other and I take this from you.
Austin taps the Light Heavyweight Title on Ryan's shoulder.
Ryan Starr: Uh... I don't think you meat the qualifications.
Austin Graves: No worries, man. I've been on a diet.
Austin says that as he shoves a Twinkie in his mouth.
Ryan Starr: How about we focus on teaming up more, and then down the line we take the tag straps?
Austin Graves: Works for me, man.
The two slap hands as we head back to ringside.
AXW's Damien Steele is competing in CCW's Contender's Cup. How will he fare? Tune in to CCW Rebellion this Monday to watch the beginning of the tournament!
Salvatore Pellegrino: This next contest is set for one fall, and is for the AXW Xperience Championship!
The crowd reacts with overall boos and jeers, but there is the small population of fans, for either nostalgia or just plain assholes, that cheer and do the hero worship wave, wearing Icon Merch.
Big Stevie Cool walks out dressed in his classic BSC ring attire, black shiny side lace up pants and a black wrestling tank with "BSC" on the front. As well as a black elbow pad on his right elbow with "ICON" written in gold across it. He stops to look around the arena and the boos being thrown in his direction. Corman makes it very clear to the fans that “all of this” is because of Him. He smiles his cocky smile, then double thumb points to himself, taps his right index finger on his temple and slowly pans his left hand, index finger extended, around the arena; indicating that he’s smarter than each and every one of them, then Corman slowly raises his arms over his head, making the trademark Highrollers hand gesture (basically the wolfpack, while moving his thumbs around in the international sign for MONEY). He makes his way to the ring, as the A-Hole High Rollers fans cheer and do the "Icon" worship wave as Corman nods, points, and smiles at the camera. He climbs the stairs, planting each foot, and walks across the apron. He stops and demands that the ring announcer opens the ropes for him. Felicia shrugs at the referee and quickly scrambles over and holds open the ropes as Corman enters the ring. Corman smirks and again repeats the High Rollers hand gesture by the ropes.
PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT!
The lights in the arena all cut to black and the Tron comes to life, pulsating with a green light as a quiet beat gets louder with every flash. It gets faster and faster, and louder with each pulse, until the pulsating light explodes into the words "Blazenwing Rises" and “The Phoenix” by Fall Out Boy blares across the arena sound system.
You are a brick tied to me that's dragging me down
Strike a match and I'll burn you to the ground
We are the jack-o-lanterns in July
Setting fire to the sky
He-here comes this rising tide
So come on
PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT!
The stage fills with smoke and the crowd rises to their feet, cheering loudly, as the smoke clears on the stage and a man in a dark green trenchcoat stands, head down, facing the Tron. He raises his hands and snaps his fingers, causing four loud bursts of pyro to ignite, two on each side of him, before spinning around Y2J style to reveal David Slayton!
Cross walks and crossed hearts and hope-to-dies
Silver clouds with grey linings
So we can take the world back from the heart-attacked
One maniac at a time we will take it back
You know time crawls on when you're waiting for the song to start
So dance alone to the beat of your heart
His sunglasses shining with the glare from the arena lights, David looks to the left, then to the right, nodding towards the crowd before walking down the ramp. After stopping to slap hands with a few fans, David moves towards the ring steps and hops up and down a few times in front of them before quickly racing up the steps to the apron side facing the stage. He stops and pulls his sunglasses off, then tosses them behind his head into the crowd before leaning down and stepping through the ropes to enter the ring.
Hey young blood
Doesn't it feel like our time is running out?
I'm gonna change you like a remix
Then I'll raise you like a phoenix
You're wearing our vintage misery
No, I think it looked a little better on me
I'm gonna change you like a remix
Then I'll raise you like a phoenix
David walks across the ring and leaps up onto the second rope in the corner nearest the timekeeper, then pulls off his green trenchcoat and tosses it towards the timekeeper. David smirks and points to the fans, then slaps his chest a few times and points up towards the sky, closing his eyes and saying a short prayer. David leaps down from the corner and immediately turns to sit down in the same corner, ala Raven. David then rests his head on the second turnbuckle pad as his theme fades and the crowd continues cheering.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Introducing first, the challenger, from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 275 pounds, he is "The Icon" STEVE CORMAN!
Steve raises a fist into the air oozing with confidence.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, weighing in at 245 pounds, he is the defending AXW Xperience Champion, "The New Hotness" DAVID SLAYTON!
David raises his championship into the air, matching Steve's confidence.
vs.
AXW Xperience Championship
Our highly-anticipated rematch commences with both combatants throwing clenched fists. Given how heated hostilities are between Slayton and Corman, the referee does not reprimand them. “Big Stevie Cool” ends the back-and-forth with a swift right knee to Slayton’s breadbasket. Corman signals for his patented Corman Cutter by lifting David into an inverted crucifix position. David Slayton has enough presence of mind to slip out and score with a Reverse DDT. His follow-up of a nonchalant cover makes it easy for “The Icon” to shrug off the champion. Steve Corman then proceeds to German Suplex Slayton twice before connecting with a Ted DiBiase-inspired Falling Fist Drop. The measured weight sounds like a sledgehammer being driven onto Slayton’s skull. Steve pulls David back to a Vertical Base to damage our Xperience Champion’s head with a Coconut Smash off his left knee. Slayton counters by chop blocking the knee and applying a Dragon Sleeper. However, when he notices Corman’s left knee giving way, Slayton transitions into a Standing Anklelock. Corman kicks Slayton in his right arm repeatedly but the pressure intensifies. Steve decides to use the ropes as a last resort to have the hold broken. As a means of creating much needed separation, Corman crashes craniums with Slayton using a Double Handed Headbutt. “The Icon” bounds east-to-west appearing to hit a major knockout blow. Match ends with “The New Hotness” David Slayton ducking under a monstrous Running Right Boot to the Face. He then proceeds to rear back slightly on his back leg before delivering The Full Effect. Slayton goes for a lateral press while hooking both legs. 1..2..3!
Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner and STILL the AXW Xperience Champion, DAVID SLAYTON!
Mike Vincent: Despite being a veteran of the gam and competing for over ten years, this is a big win for David Slayton.
Cole Haywood: It looked like Steve kicked out from where I'm sitting.
Mike Vincent: I think he did, but it was after the three count.
"The Phoenix" plays throughout the arena as David celebrates a successful title defense. Corman is to his feet and David extends his hand, but Steve ignores it as he exits the ring.
-----
We're backstage where Fredrick Wyndham is stood in front of a monitor, about to watch the next match very closely. Renee Peltier approaches him.
Renee Peltier: Fredrick, can I get a moment of your time?
Fredrick says nothing.
Renee Peltier: I wanted to get your thoughts on your loss last week as your brother Justin Wyndham provided a distraction.
Renee holds the microphone up to Fredrick. Fredrick has not broken his stare with the monitor, and grabs the microphone and throws it aside, Renee knowing that it's time to leave as we head back to ringside.
-----
Salvatore Pellegrino: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Main Event! It is scheduled for one fall, and is for the AXW Championship!
The opening beat of "ultranumb" by Blue Stahli as the crowd goes in a frenzy, hyped to see the arrival of "The World Warrior" The cameras focused on the countdown clock shown in the titantron while we hear a voice say, "Ultranumb"
"THREE. THREe, THRee, THree,Three
"TWO, TWO., two two
ONE"
"YOU WANT IT ALL RIGHT NOW"
The lights starts to flicker before coming back to normal as Justin Wyndham comes out with a smile on his face. He bends down on both knees and looks at his imaginary "watch" before getting up and does a cut throat sign. He then gets up before running down to the ring in full speed. Once he enters the ring, he bangs his head to the nearest turnbuckle, hyping himself up before looking back at the crowd with a sick smile. He then climbs at the turnbuckle and does the cuthroat sign before getting off and waiting for his match to start
An ice blue hue descends on the stage, “Playing The Saint” by Digital Summer blaring as a spade of the same color is shown on the ramp, Aries emerging with his back to us, clad in a denim jacket with the same spade on fire printed on the back, his arms crossed. Pyros explode on either side as Aries then spins around, his arms still crossed, head cocked in a smug grin. Aries then takes a confident stride towards the ring, eyes not off the ring from under his ice blue tinted Aviator shades. Aries climbs the steps and walks the apron, looking out onto the crowd before tossing his shades to a lucky fan, entering the ring, pumped up, tossing off his jacket and delivering some shadow punches and kicks as his music fades.
Salvatore Pellegrino: Introducing first, the challenger, from Cloverleaf, Texas, weighing in at 210 pounds, "The World Warrior" JUSTIN WYNDHAM!
Justin intently stares across the ring as he receives cheers from the crowd.
Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, from San Diego, California, weighing in at 238 pounds, he is the defending AXW Champion, "The Wild Card" DUNCAN ARIES!
Duncan raises the championship into the air, receiving a chorus of boos. He cups his ear to hear them better.
vs.
AXW Championship
Justin immediately throws punches at Duncan, Duncan manages to shove him away and hit a roundhouse kick. Duncan brings Justin to the mat with a belly-to-belly suplex. Justin gets to his feet and Duncan delivers a belly-to-back suplex. Justin gets back up and is met with an onslaught of European Uppercuts from Duncan Aries. Duncan throws Justin shoulder first between the turnbuckles into the ring post. Duncan pulls him out with a schoolboy, getting a two count. Duncan gets Justin in an arm wringer, clubs his shoulder, then delivers a double knee armbreaker. Duncan plants his knee in Justin's back, and locks in an armbar of sorts. When Justin refuses to tap, Duncan slams Justin's arm on the mat, then stomps on it. When Duncan brings Justin to his feet, Justin uses his good arm to hit a palm strike to Duncan's throat. Justin uses his good arm to hit a number of punches, chops, and elbow strikes at a surprising speed. Justin hits a back kick, doubline Duncan over then runs the ropes and hits The Suicide Blonde (Daniel Bryan’s Inazuma Leg Lariat). Duncan is back to his feet and is met with a Peace Out (Spinning Capoeira kick). Justin sends Duncan to the corner then runs in with a dropkick. Justin keeps Duncan in the corner and starts the 10 count punch, and gets to 5 before Duncan walks him to the middle of the ring with him on his shoulder, but whatever Duncan had planned is countered with a DDT from Justin. Duncan rolls out of the ring to catch a breather, only for Justin to dive out with the Leap of Faith (No-handed suicide dive), but Duncan simply steps out of the way as Justin crash and burns. Duncan lifts Justin up and side slams him onto the apron, then rolls him into the ring. Duncan climbs onto the apron and springboards into the ring with a modified Enter Gideon (Beautiful Disaster Kick), then drives Justin to the mat with a San Diego Driver (Full Nelson pickup released into a wheelbarrow facebuster). Duncan locks Justin's bad arm with his legs as he locks in the Ace Of Spades (Crippler Crossface)! Justin looks to be on the verge of tapping, but somehow he manages to get Duncan on his back for a desperation pin, but Duncan kicks out. Both men are to their feet and Justin brings Duncan to the mat with a Ranhei! Justin looks to be setting up the World's Most Wanted (Steve Vick like Superkick), but gets tackled to the mat by Fredrick Wyndham who starts viciously punching him.
Salvatore Pellegrino: The winner as a result of a disqualification, Justin Wyndham, however still the AXW Champion, Duncan Aries.
Salvatore had to get that out quickly as Fredrick is just nonstop pummeling his brother, to the point where Justin actually gets busted open. Duncan Aries shrugs and leaves the ring, not caring since he's still the AXW Champion. Referee Matt Baker who just officiated the match tries to get Fredrick off Justin but Fredrick chucks him out of the ring. Fredrick drops Justin on his head with Zero Consequences (Burning Hammer). The show ends with Fredrick looking down at his unconscious brother.
